“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

I wanna get back, tell me how to get back

Say it again, say it again, tell me what I wanna hear

Tell me that I'm gonna be fine and there's nothing left to fear

'Cause I've been losing sleep (losing sleep)

Trying to get back to who I used to be

Where is the old me?

Chris Cannon spearing Konrad Raab follows before we see a shot of Gavin Taylor on his way to the ring, and then a shot of Kimberly Williams licking a staple gun. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen and remains on it for a few moments.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “From Boston, Massachusetts, we are getting closer and closer to Retribution. And tonight, we cap things off with Cid Turner and Tommy Valentine meeting inside a steel cage!”

The cameras continue to pan across the crowd. The cameras then cut to the cage hanging over the ring as the crowd cheers some more. We then cut to ringside where Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman are at ringside.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. I’m Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and Simon Lyman. And tonight, we have the cage match, but not only that, some huge matches tonight, including Syren facing Matt Hodges.”

Lyman: “And Hodges may be having his come to Jesus meeting tonight. Ace Marshall may see what he can offer tonight in one shot!”

Knots: “But that’s not all. Kandis, Holly Adams, Autumn Valentine – three people who will get a World Title shot at Retribution. We know in some way. Well tonight, they’ll face off tonight in a triple threat match.”

Sharper: “That could be a classic. We’re coming off a hell of a title match. Glory Braddock and Selena Frost left it all in the ring last week. What will happen tonight?!”

“You’ll Know My Name” by Chris Cornell plays as the crowd cheers. A few moments pass before Shaun Cruze walks out from the back, wearing a suit. He extends his arms, playing to the crowd a bit before starting to make his way down to the ring.

Sharper: “And Shaun Cruze joining us to start us off. We’ve been told we’ll get clarification about that World Title match at Retribution. A lot of moving parts.”

Lyman: “We know Selena is the champion. Has Glory lost out on her spot by failing to win the title last week? What about the other five individuals? We know its some sort of a Double Jeopardy match, but we’ve never seen it on this scale.”

Sharper: “No, never.”

Cruze walks over to the steel steps and walks up them. He then walks along the apron and steps into the ring. He goes across the ring, extending his arm. Jason Phillips hands him a microphone. Cruze takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring. His music fades out as he brings the microphone to his mouth.

Cruze: “Thank you for that warm reception and fans, last week, we saw a classic for the SCW World Championship. Selena Frost defeated Glory Braddock, successfully defending her title…and there was no controversy. Just two of the best competing to determine who would walk out champion. Why is this so hard?”

Cruze pauses.

Cruze: “Last week is not just what I want to see more of, but I know all of you. SCW stars leaving it all in the ring to walk out World Champion.”

Cruze pauses.

Cruze: “Part of the issue is a lot of people feel they deserve a shot. People have beaten Selena or Glory and in the process, they think that puts them in contention. Well at Retribution, people will be putting up or shutting up. As I said two weeks ago, we’d be having a Double Jeopardy match at Retribution. With Selena Frost victorious, unfortunately, Glory, that means you’ve had your opportunity. I know as well as anyone you will earn another shot, but I mentioned we’d maybe see seven…that was if you walked away champion. Selena would be getting her rematch. No need to consider that.”

Cruze pauses as the crowd boos a bit.

Cruze: “Hey…I’m sorry…but too many people around here believe they’re owed opportunities. That rematches grow on trees. And Glory Braddock…I know whether she’ll agree with me right now, long term, she knows I’m doing what’s best. Plus…as I said, I have no doubt she’ll earn another shot sooner or later.”

Cruze paces a bit.

Cruze: “But before I move on, I need to turn my attention to the woman who won that match last week…Selena Frost. And in fact, allow me to request, Selena, that you join me out here right now. Because your being champion offers you an additional bonus.”

The crowd cheers. Cruze turns to the entrance way. A few moments pass.

BELIEVE IT!

The SCW Universe are on their feet as “Kings and Queens” by Ava Max as plays throughout the arena, snow “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe. The SCW World Championship is around her waist. Deanna Frost walks out with her. They then turn and start to head to the ring.

Sharper: “Last week, Selena Frost and Glory Braddock, they did indeed leave it all in the ring.”

Lyman: “Putting it mildly. Back and forth. Both created a target. Selena focused on Glory’s arm. Glory on Selena’s neck. At the end, the Glass Shard was enough, but damn it felt good to have a classic over the World Title.”

Knots: “Selena talked about integrity. Glory too. And yeah, Glory may be pissed. She’s out of contention for now. Much like Syren. But if you care about integrity, that match, last week was simple – the best woman won on that night.”

Selena Frost and Deanna Frost reach the ring. Selena walks up the steel steps and along the apron. She steps into the ring. Deanna Frost walks up the steps too and steps in after her. Selena walks over to Shaun Cruze and shakes his hand before heading over to the ropes and being handed a microphone by Phillips. Selena walks back as Deanna and Cruze talk a bit. Cruze turns to Selena Frost.

Cruze: “Selena – thank you for joining me. Congratulations again on your hard fought win last week.”

Frost: “I’m just glad that there is controversy. Glory and I gave each other a hell of a fight. I don’t know if next time I’ll come out on top. But thank you to Glory…and I said, I would focus on rebuilding the integrity of this title.”

Cruze: “That you did, Selena, and that brings me to Retribution.”

The crowd cheers.

Cruze: “At Retribution, there will be you…and then Holly Adams, who you’ve faced twice before, both ending in controversial fashion; Kandis who defeated Glory Braddock and then sent you a message a few weeks ago; Brittany Lohan, and yes it will be Brittany, not Kennedy, challenging for the title; Kimberly Williams who her actions last week speak for themselves, but she also has flirted with the top of the card…and Autumn Valentine, the Star of Tomorrow, and the record-setting Television Champion.”

The crowd cheers.

Selena: “Hell of a field. So what’s this bonus, Shaun? All I see are a lot of contenders and a hard fight to get to the end. We know its Double Jeopardy. You made that clear. So I guess three on three?”

Cruze: “You would be right. Two matches happening at the same time – that’s double jeopardy. Never before has there been two triple threat matches happening, single fall to a finish for both, and the winners face each other. And the World Title will be on the line in which match you’re in…and it will be on the line in that one on one match in the second heat, but as the World Champion, Selena…you have a choice.”

Cruze pauses.

Cruze: “You get to decide which two people face you in the first heat; and who are the other three fighting to get their World Title shot.”

The crowd roars. Selena looks down, nodding, clearly thinking about it, a small smirk on her face. Selena goes to respond, but Cruze stops her.

Cruze: “Selena – you don’t need to tell me now. In fact, I want you thinking about it a bit. In the meantime, fans…as well as everyone else in the Double Jeopardy match will get a bit of a taste. Later tonight, Kandis, Holly Adams and Autumn Valentine will clash in a triple threat match. Maybe that’s one of the two groups you’ll choose at Retribution. Either way, it gives you a taste, Selena….as well as these fans. Simply put, Selena…you get to pick your poison. You’ve been in the ring with some. You may want revenge for others. The decision is yours. But either way, you’ll need to get through half the field to walk out World Champion at Retribution!”

Cruze turns as “You’ll Know My Name” plays. Deanna walks over to Selena and looks a bit surprised as Selena keeps nodding, clearly thinking about the options. Shaun hands off the microphone before he exits the ring.

Sharper: “A huge opportunity. Selena Frost gets to pick which path.”

Lyman: “What do you do? Do you pick the most deserving and place them in the ring first? Do you go after those who have wronged you – Holly, Kandis, Kim?”

Knots: “Who do you pick then? Which two? Do you make a few have to go through an extra step to earn it?”

Lyman: “And you know damn well everyone is going to read into this decision.”

Sharper: “And that triple threat later tonight, Kandis, Autumn and Holly – that takes on new importance. That could be one option. Selena Frost could pick a rematch.”

Knots: “Well Selena seems to be thinking about it. Lord knows Deanna may have some thoughts too!”

Selena and Deanna start to talk as Shaun Cruze heads around the ring and heads backstage.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as Shaun Cruze is shown walking through the backstage area. He walks towards his office when we see Hiro Tanaka walking up to him.

Tanaka: “Shaun.”

Cruze: “What’s up?”

Tanaka: “Just letting you know…you have a visitor in your office. You’re not going to like it.”

Cruze sighs.

Cruze: “Kennedy?”

Tanaka: “I’d say worse.”

Cruze turns and heads over to his office. He opens the door and inside, we see Giovanni Aries sitting cross-legged on his desk. Two sticks of incense are in his hands as he waves them around in the air. We see Sammy Thomas Davies and Clamidiya in the back, both sitting cross-legged, but on the floor. Cruze steps forward. Giovanni finishes his cleansing ritual before opening his eyes and looking at Shaun.

Giovanni: “Ah, Shaun. Welcome…I have cleared the negative energy from this room. Please consider that before you react.”

Cruze: “What are you doing in here?”

Giovanni: “What does it look like?”

Cruze: “You’re sitting on my desk-“

Giovanni: “Sit being the operative word. It seems that the corruption has already gone to your head. Openly claiming I don’t deserve an opportunity when I’ve met the standard of others. Sometimes people need to stand up for what they believe it. And this…this is a sit in.”

Giovanni smiles. Cruze looks at Davies, then Clamidiya and then Aries.

Cruze: “Three people?”

Giovanni: “The physical numbers don’t match our immense spirit.”

Cruze sighs as he turns to Hiro Tanaka as we cut back to the ring.

Ace Marshall vs. Beard

An emergency siren begins to go off, as a black and grey WARNING: EXPLICIT CONTENT appears on the screen.

3-3-3-

Glass on the other side of the stage shatters as “Dead to Me” by THESE WOLVES begins to play throughout the arena. Blue and green strobe lights begin spinning over the arena. The crowd boos however as Ace Marshall steps out on stage, Matt Hodges coming in right behind him only louder boos. Ace stares down at the ring as Hodges passes him by. Ace looks up at him and sighs before following along. Ace spits towards the crowd causing one fan to lean away with concern, however it simply hits the railing.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, making his way to the ring, coming in from Las Vegas, Nevada, being accompanied to the ring by Matt Hodges, ACE MAAARSHALL!”

Sharper: “Ace Marshall making his way to the ring and you see who’s with him.”

Lyman: “Matt Hodges, who’s gone from being a sort of counselor for Ace to…a tag team partner? A manager? It’s not all clear yet.”

Ace slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Standing up he peers around before flexing a bit and stretching while his music fades out. Hodges stands down at ringside, wearing a smile that comes across insincere.

Knots: “What’s clear is that Hodgie is trying to yank Ace from LexyCorp!”

The arena lights go completely black. Lightning begins to streak around the entrance way, as “The Terminator” theme blares through the sound system. Smoke rises from the stage as the lightning slowly dies down. As the music continues and the smoke clears, a figure turning slowly rises to its feet in the smoke. The music then transitions into “(Oh My) Darling Don’t Cry” by Run the Jewels as Beard reveals himself, stepping out from the smoke, with the crowd erupting in cheers. Beard makes his way to the ring, taking some time out to lean into the crowd.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Fort Collins, Colorado, he is Beard!”

Sharper: “And we saw Beard put in a great effort against Matt Hodges two weeks back.”

Knots: “Still reminded us that he’s spent most of his time with us in recent years as an agent backstage, but hey, he showed some heart!”

Sharper: “And something we’ll have to look out for is how Hodges gets involved here. We saw him interfere in Ace’s match against Gavin Taylor two weeks ago, and then saw Ace get involved in his match against Beard. Beard will have to have eyes on the back of his head.”

Beard runs and slides into the ring under the bottom rope. Once inside the ring, Beard climbs to the top rope and strokes his beard before extending his arms out and doing a backflip off of the top rope, landing on his feet, and dropping to one knee as the music dies down. He slowly rises up and turns to face Ace. The bell sounds as Ace steps forward. The two circle one another while muttering to each other.

Sharper: “History between these two. Old friends.”

Lyman: “Right, and in Beard’s video message to the fans this week, he talked about that and how he knows the tall task ahead of him. Ace, meanwhile, is a decorated veteran, so I don’t expect him to overlook Beard here, but with all the shenanigans outside of the ring, Beard might be able to take advantage and surprise Ace.”

Beard goes to grapple Ace, but Ace throws a knee up and catches Beard in the gut. Beard doubles over, right into a headlock from Ace. Ace wrenches it a bit before Beard shuffles backwards, pulling him and Ace into the corner. Beard grabs the top rope. The referee calls for the break, but Ace takes the time to wrench harder.

Ace gives Beard a noogie before letting go. Beard shoves Ace out of the corner. He shakes his head as Ace just smirks.

Sharper: “Ace with some quick mind games maybe.”

Knots: “Playing big brother to Beard, which is easy enough considering he’s got a good few inches on him.”

Ace runs forward, but Beard throws a boot up. Ace stumbles back, holding his jaw. Beard charges ahead and goes for a clothesline, but Ace ducks it. Ace grabs the arm and hooks Beard from behind before hooking the other arm. He hoists Beard up and throws him back with a tiger suplex. He keeps the arms hooked on impact and bridges up for a cover.

Beard breaks free just after two and rolls into the corner. Ace gets to his feet and sees Beard rising up in the corner. He runs at Beard before jumping up and driving his knee in Beard’s face. Ace stays standing on the second rope before hooking Beard’s head and jumping off to plant Beard with a bulldog. The crowd roars as we see Lexy Chapel walking briskly down the ramp.

Sharper: “Lexy Chapel making her way out here now!”

Lyman: “Better late than never, I suppose.”

Knots: “She’s a busy woman!”

She continues to head for ringside as Ace goes for another cover.

1!

Beard gets a shoulder up, rolling onto his stomach. He pushes himself up, but Ace catches him in a headlock. Both him and Beard slowly return to a vertical base as Ace keeps the headlock in. Lexy gets to ringside and elbows Hodges out of the way. Hodges looks bewildered as Lexy cheers loudly from ringside, finally catching Ace’s attention. Ace looks down at Lexy. Beard takes the moment to hoist Ace up and plant him with a backdrop suplex! The crowd roars. Ace rolls towards the ropes and quickly pulls himself up, holding his neck. Beard starts to stir.

Sharper: “And Lexy accidentally distracted Ace there!”

Lyman: “Ace in full control to start, but Beard’s got an opening here.”

Lexy glares back at Hodges, who just shakes his head.

Lexy: “That was your fault!”

Before Beard can fully get to his feet, Ace runs forward and stomps on his hand. Beard pops up, holding his hand, but Ace hits him with a toe kick, doubling him over. He grabs Beard and hooks both arms, looking for a double underhook DDT, but Beard struggles out of it and manages to drop down into a small package!

1!

2!

Ace bursts out just before three, scrambling towards the corner. Lexy looks on in concern as Beard gets back to his feet, Ace watching him the whole way. Ace stays in the corner. Beard takes the bait and runs towards Ace, but Ace spins out of the corner. Beard stops short of hitting the turnbuckle and quickly turns, but Ace pokes him in the eye. The crowd boos. The referee warns Ace. Ace ignores the referee and grabs Beard by the head, swinging around for a neckbreaker, but Beard pushes Ace away. Ace almost bowls over the referee, but stops just short. Beard comes from behind and rolls him up with a schoolboy.

1!

2!

Ace breaks free. Both men quickly get to their feet. Ace goes for a forearm smash, but Beard blocks it before driving his knee into Ace’s gut. Ace doubles over and Beard bends down to hoist Ace into a fireman’s carry position.

Sharper: “Back and forth here, now Beard maybe looking for Kick It Up A Notch!”

Beard throws Ace up, but Ace ends up slipping out of Beard’s grip, landing right behind him and immediately lifting Beard up and sticking him with a stiff Olympic slam! Lexy screeches loudly in support while Ace goes for a cover, hooking both legs.

1!

2!

Beard kicks out. Ace looks up at the referee, briefly questioning the count before laying in a few grounded forearm strikes. Beard tries to cover up. Ace relents and gets to his feet, violently yanking Beard up with him.

Sharper: “Ace showing some frustration.”

Lyman: “Maybe not expecting this much resistance from his old friend, or maybe even getting frustrated with the antics of Hodges and Lexy.”

Knots: “Either way, it’s working for him! Look at him go!”

Ace grabs Beard by the head and slaps him before following it up with a backhand. The crowd ohs. Ace grabs him by the hair and mutters something to him, but Beard fights back with an uppercut. Ace lets go of Beard’s hair, stumbling back a bit. He steps forward and Beard trips him up with a drop-toe hold. Ace faceplants onto the mat. The crowd roars as Beard shakes off the cobwebs. Ace pushes himself up while nursing his face, but Beard comes up from behind and hooks him in a waistlock. He pushes Ace forward against the ropes before using the momentum to roll Ace back into an O’Connor roll!

Sharper: “But Beard, catching Ace!”

1!

2!

Ace pushes Beard off just before three. Ace scrambles to his feet. Beard turns around and runs at Ace, leaping up and piercing him with a shotgun dropkick. Ace flies back into the corner, hitting hard. Beard kips up to his feet and runs at Ace. He jumps up and crashes into Ace with a spinning splash. They both bounce out the corner on impact. Beard quickly hooks Ace and throws him back with a snap suplex, floating right over into a cover.

1!

2!

Ace throws a shoulder up. He quickly crawls towards the ropes, bringing himself up. Beard gets up behind him.

Sharper: “Beard with momentum on his side now!”

Lyman: “Ever since that accidental distraction, he’s been rolling!”

Beard runs up at Ace, but Ace throws an elbow back, catching him in the head. Beard staggers back. Ace turns. Beard runs at him again. Ace grabs him and twirls him around, going for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker, but Beard counters it into a tornado DDT! The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Oh, and what a counter!”

Beard crawls over Ace for the cover.

1!

2!

Ace gets a shoulder up. Beard sits up, showing a little exasperation.

Sharper: “Another nearfall from Beard!”

Lyman: “And he looks a bit frustrated, but he can’t slow up now. He’s got Ace on the ropes!”

Beard rolls out onto the apron and pulls himself up. Ace slowly stirs. Beard grabs the top rope and seems to be measuring up Ace.

Sharper: “And Beard now, might be going for X Marks the Spot!”

Knots: “The X being Ace Marshall’s skull!”

Beard gets briefly distracted as Hodges takes a step closer to him just outside of the apron. Lexy looks on. Beard turns and runs along the apron before swinging his leg at Hodges. Hodges jukes back. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Beard shooing Hodges away, but he’s got to be careful! Match still going on!”

Ace gets to a knee and waves the referee over, saying something inaudible to the cameras. Beard turns away from Hodges and sees Ace getting up, the referee still near. Beard hops up onto the top rope and springboards off, going for X Marks the Spot, but he stops turning in mid-air when Ace pulls the referee in front of him. Beard lands on his feet, pulling up just short of the referee.

Sharper: “Beard abandoning ship, and you saw Ace, he put the referee in harm’s way!”

Ace lightly shoves the referee to the side. Before the referee can turn around, Ace lunges forward and punts Beard right between the legs! The crowd ohs before booing.

Sharper: “And now a low blow!”

Knots: “Momentum killer!”

The referee turns to see Beard doubled over. Lexy watches with a look of concern on her face. Ace grabs Beard and hoists him up before spinning and planting him with Aces Wild! Ace scoots back and drapes himself over Beard for the cover, hooking the far leg.

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds. “Dead to Me” plays while Ace gets back to his feet, using Beard’s body to push himself up. The referee bends down to check on Beard.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Ace Marshall!”

Ace raises his arms into the air before taking a moment to catch his breath. We see Lexy at ringside, still looking briefly concerned before shrugging and sliding into the ring. She claps excitedly next to Ace as he raises his arms again.

Sharper: “Ace stealing one here!”

Lyman: “And you saw there, Lexy showing concern. Whether it’s towards Ace openly cheating or the fact that he came out here with Matt Hodges and got the job done, I’m not sure.”

Knots: “Well, she looks like she’s having the time of her life now, supporting her client! Or Matt’s client. Or both. I don’t know. It’s complicated!”

Ace looks back at Lexy and nods before rolling out of the ring, where Hodges greets him. Hodges just shakes his head. Ace shrugs before making his way up the ramp. Hodges follows along. Lexy quickly exits the ring, going down the steel steps, and catching up with Ace and Hodges, nagging about something or other. Meanwhile, Beard gets up inside the ring and talks to the referee, motioning to his groin.

Sharper: “And Beard, he fought valiantly.”

Knots: “Too valiantly! Got him a kick between the legs!”

Lyman: “Showed a lot of heart, much like he did against Hodges. He’ll be disappointed with the loss, but he’s working his way back here in SCW and has made some impressive showings.”

Sharper: “Be that as it may, Simon, you mentioned the loss. He’ll be soaking in that while Ace and company bask in another victory.”

We see Ace get to the top of the ramp. He turns around and faces the ring, raising his arms again before disappearing behind the curtain while Hodges and Lexy continue to bicker.

Backstage, we see Diamond Steele and Dawn Lohan talking. Steele is already in her gear as Dawn stretches out, warming up.

Diamond: “Ready for your big night.”

Dawn: “First match back and I can knock something off my list…of course. That would be wonderful. And you can make a big wave too. Think about how big it would be to knock off the champ’s wife.”

Diamond: “You know Selena-“

Dawn: “Knew her. Not like we’ve been hanging out a whole lot and given that I’ve heard in the back she’s not happy about what I did to Jordan, it just shows she knows little about who is around her. Probably the rumours there are true. Not my problem right now. Just something that can give you an edge.”

Diamond: “Look forward to ending this singles start for Deanna then.”

Dawn: “Good. And I look forward to sending a little message to Marie and Kim. I’ll first take the TV title, whether Kim wants the title or not. I plan to win it. And then maybe I’ll just shut Marie up for good measure. They know nothing about being ignored. And last week, they just ticked me off by being in the same room with her…”

Dawn returns to stretching. Diamond smiles.

Diamond: “You kick their ass. I’ll kick Deanna’s.”

Diamond heads off as the scene fades to black.

COMMERCIALS

Glory Braddock is seen backstage, clearly not pleased, as Jessica Winters walks over to her.

Winters: “Glory…can I get a word?”

Braddock: “Oh, I have a good feeling what this is about.”

Winters: “Shaun Cruze’s announcement and how you’re no longer in the World Title match at Retribution. I know you wanted it, but of course, last week….”

Braddock: “Last week, Selena and I left it all in that ring. EVERYTHING. And it wasn’t good enough for me. She was better. And frankly, I fully understand. I lost. Why should I be gifted another chance? There’s no controversy last week. It was exactly what a World Championship match should be. Doesn’t mean I won’t be unhappy, disappointed, even angry! I got into this sport to be the best. It’s how I’m wired. It’s who I am. And I can’t say that….yet…But-“

Amelia Stone then runs into the scene.

Amelia: “Glory! I just heard. I’m so sorry. Look, you’ll get another chance. You know what…what if I talk to Shaun. I mean, you’ve been such an inspiration. It’s a mistake. It’s a big mistake.”

Glory: “No love…he made his decision and I respect it.”

Amelia: “Well he can unmake it. To not have you in the match. I mean, he said you could be in it. He’s just playing fast and loose. And you’re-“

Glory: “Enough!”

Glory turns to Amelia.

Glory: “You know what. I think I now know what I want to do at Retribution. I may not be a World Champion or challenging for it, but there is something else I do…train them. And you, Amelia…I think you need a lesson. Because right now, your attitude here…your involvement in my matches…that’s not something I respect. That’s something that pisses me off!”

Glory turns and heads off as Amelia looks at her, almost stunned before turning to Jessica and then turning back to Glory and then smiling.

Amelia: “It’s just a misunderstanding!”

Amelia sighs as the scene cuts away.

Deanna Frost vs. Diamond Steele

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs "The Queen's Guard" Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

"Making her way to the ring, from Manhattan, New York, weighing in 115 pounds, she is 'The Queen's Guard', Deanna Frost!"

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the Queen's Guard jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring!

On the last time, Deanna hops back into the ring as the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost looks like she’s all business tonight, here, folks. She may be the Queen’s Guard, but don’t let that moniker fool you, she could have some royalty in her veins herself. She’s very good in that ring.”

Knots: She may have her hands full here tonight with Diamond Steele.

Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele emerging from the curtain. She has a microphone in her hands sings as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers. Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who cheers louder than before. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin.

Sharper: And the enigmatic Diamond Steele will be the adversary, singing her way down to the ring.

Knots: Where’s Simon Cowell when you need him? Seriously. We’ve got the B Plus Simon on commentary. Wrong show, Miss Steele! Oh. No offense, Lyman.

Now Deanna hurriedly rushes to the bottom rope and grabs it.

Sharper: Diamond Steele looking for Shipwrecked here, but well-scouted out by Deanna Frost. And Simon, you’ve been in that ring before, you have to be asking yourself just how valuable is having a Selena Frost in your corner.

Lyman: There’s not a question about it, it definitely gives a wrestler an edge.

The ref forces the break. Diamond Steele backs off, allowing Deanna to get to her feet. They tie up again, Diamond getting the advantage. She backs her out of the corner and brings her to the mat by sweeping her leg. Deanna hits hard. Diamond maintains control of the leg now, grabs it and floats over, stretching it out as she releases it. Deanna rolls over in pain. She attempts to get up but she’s met by a kick of her own to the chest, followed by another. The crowd oh’s after the second shot, as Deanna drops to the mat. Diamond covers.

Sharper: What a maneuver that is! And I have a feeling that’ll be all she wrote!

The bell sounds as “People Like Us” by Kelly Clarkson plays throughout the arena

Giovanni Aries remains seated on the desk of Shaun Cruze. We can see him turning, grabbing something next to him. He turns to Sammy Thomas Davies as he gets up.

Giovanni: “Samuel…please come here.”

STD looks around and walks over.

Davies: “Yes-“

Giovanni: “Time for your next lesson. You need to truly understand that you can only go up once you accept our teachings.”

Davies: “I just came off a match where I lost in record time-“

Giovanni: “You need to trust the process. And to help you see things clearly…Take this.”

Giovanni hands him a small vile. Davies takes it. He looks at it, examining it.

Davies: “What is it?”

Giovanni: “The new Holly Adams Brand Eye-Opening and Centre Clearing Serum. Take it now.”

Davies: “Are you sure it’s safe-“

Giovanni: “Of course! I took it before I entered this room to complete the demonstration we have here.”

Davies looks at it again.

Davies: “Look, I-“

Giovanni: “Take it or you will be doomed to continued irrelevancy. Haven’t you thought about that…without me, there’s a good chance Shaun may fire you. You’re taking over his office. In a sit-in. So…”

Davies looks at Clamidiya and then to the vial before popping the top and then taking a sip. He turns in revulsion before then downing the rest. He hands the vial back to Giovanni who just smiles.

Giovanni: “Go my child.”

Davies winces from the taste as he walks off with Clamidiya following. Giovanni smiles as he returns to his meditation on Shaun Cruze’s desk.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Cid Turner walking backstage with Cookie Dreams. They head through the backstage area before heading over to Shaun Cruze’s office. Cid opens the door and steps inside. He then stops.

Cid: “GiGi?”

Giovanni: “Yes, my child. It is I. Did Holly send you?”

Cid: “No…I’m looking for Shaun….wait…are you holding a sit in?”

Giovanni: “You have to do what you can to fight injustice.”

Cookie: “True dat.”

Cid and Giovanni look at Cookie.

Cid: “True dat apparently…do you know where Shaun is?”

Giovanni: “Probably cowering under the shadow of the shell of an authority he is. Brought to his knees by the implications of reality-“

Cookie: “Oh! He’s over there!”

Cookie points outside of the office. Cid looks at her and then back at Giovanni.

Cid: “Well…uh…good luck.”

Cid turns and leaves as Giovanni smiles. The door closes as Cookie runs over to Shaun.

Cookie: “Shaun! SHAUN! Cid wants to talk to you.”

Shaun turns away from a crew member.

Shaun: “I see this Cookie. Cid…what do you want?”

Cid: “Look…you put me in a steel cage match. A cage match!”

Shaun: “Yes I did!”

Cid: “Look…I…people are counting on me. Cookie is. And look. Tommy wants to hurt me!”

Shaun: “He does have a surprisingly good reason.”

Cid: “Well…uh…look…it’s complicated. And plus, with Asher. Look…I want to ask a favour.”

Shaun: “A favour? You’re not exactly in a position to do that.”

Cid: “It’s a little one, okay…I know cage matches are pinfall or submission…Add escape the cage. Tommy can try to break my spirit, but if I can escape…then-“

Shaun: “You want cowardice to be a condition of victory.”

Cid looks around as the crowd roars.

Cid: “It is not cowardice-“

Cookie: “It’s understanding limits!”

Cookie smiles as Cid turns and smiles.

Cid: “Exactly! Understanding limits. I mean if Asher Hayes did, he wouldn’t have been in the problem he was in…that reminds me. I need to find him too…and…look…add that stipulation.”

Shaun shakes his head.

Shaun: “You know what. If you’re fine with winning a cage match that way then fine. But Tommy…if I know him, he’s not going to give you the change to run.”

Cid: “Ha! We’ll see about that.”

Cid backs up and then realizes what he said before turning and heading off. Cookie turns to Shaun.

Cookie: “Thanks!”

Cookie turns and follows Cid as the scene cuts away.

Little D in action

“Sharing is Caring” by the Tinker Toys plays as the crowd roars a bit. A few moments pass before we see Sammy Thomas Davies walking out from the back with Clamidiya. Davies looks a bit uneasy.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, from the Red Light District, accompanied by Clamidiya…he is Sammy Thomas Davies!”

Davies walks over to the ring and climbs up. Clamidiya walks around the ring. Sammy steps in and looks around. He raises his arm and then winces, holding his stomach before moving into his corner. His music fades out.

Sharper: “Giovanni Aries giving Sammy Thomas Davies some serum.”

Knots: “I don’t think this is going to end well for Mr. Davies.”

“Bad Man” starts to rumble through the arena.

Phillips: “His opponent, led to the ring by his manager Chainz, from the mean streets of Winnipeg, he is LITTLE D!"

Little D appears at the top of the ramp with Chainz by his side. Both are dressed as bikers with all leather ensembles. The walk to the ring, arguing with and even threatening fans along their way to the ring. Their jackets both say "1-8-7 Productions, Eh!" on the back. Once there, Little D slides under the bottom rope (It's natural for him) while Chainz goes to his corner on the outside waiting for the first opportunity he has to get involved.

Sharper: “Well this is a rematch for two weeks ago on Breakdown. Little D making his debut. He won without even throwing a punch!”

Knots: “Yeah, because Giovanni Aries dropped STD!”

Lyman: “And this is with Giovanni mentoring him allegedly!”

Sammy winces, holding his stomach. The bell sounds. Little D then steps up and looks at Sammy and mocks him. He tells him to come at him and Sammy then steps forward at first, before clutching his stomach and then his head and dropping down to the mat, ending up on his back. Little D just laughs.

Little D: “Just that strong, baby!”

Little D then covers Sammy Thomas Davies as the crowd boos.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd boos.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Little D!”

Sharper: “It happened again! Little D won with no offense!”

Lyman: “And Davies is down in the fetal position. What the hell did Giovanni give him?”

Knots: “Whatever…he’s going to learn…he needs to truly have nowhere else to go but up!”

Little D gets up and walks forward, holding his arm up. Clamidiya enters the ring and checks on Sammy Thomas Davies as the crowd boos. Little D just keeps mocking the crowd at this point before we cut away.

Backstage, Kennedy Street stands with Alana Starr and Brittany Lohan, shaking her head. Kennedy turns to Alana.

Kennedy: “Can you believe this? Tommy Valentine gets Cid Turner. Keenie is on the sidelines. Brittany Lohan gets a World Title shot. Not me…”

Kennedy sighs and turns to Brittany.

Kennedy: “Look, I’m sorry you’ve been put here. We’ll figure this all out. Shaun has to finally have figured out what I mean to him and his entertainment career. He’s put you in a terrible position Brittany. You’re not ready to be World Champion. It should be me…Before the night is done, we’ll figure it out.”

Kennedy looks at Brittany briefly before turning back to Alana as Brittany looks at Kennedy, clearly annoyed.

Kennedy: “Keenie is going to get her main event spot. Don’t worry. All will be right tonight. By the end of tonight, I will get this figured out or SCW will not be the same!”

Kennedy smiles as the camera focuses on her and the crowd boos.

We open backstage to see Hairless Penguin in a corner of the hallway, in the fetal position, rocking back and forth. We then see Dancing Bear walking down the hallway, looking around before stopping and seeing him and turning back.

Bear: “There you are!”

Penguin: “I….I…..hot sauce….I….”

Bear: “So you got sprayed with hot sauce. On one of those screwed up Japanese game shows, that’s like the first round. Come on…we’re getting a title shot.”

Penguin: “I….the burning….the burning…”

Bear: “Look, we took you to the doctor. They said it will go away. It’s-“

Penguin: “Everywhere…”

Bear: “Pengin!”

Bear grabs him and shakes him. Penguin whines.

Bear: “Look! We have a big match next week. We beat a child and a manchild and we get a tag title shot! And we can like…make Ravyn be Kim in our minds and you can get revenge-“

Penguin shrieks.

Penguin: “Kim…no! NO!”

Bear backs up.

Bear: “Okay…look, you need to deal with some stuff. I’ll take care of things tonight with Lexy. Gonna finally get close to her. Get her to pay attention. Getting back the tag titles!”

Bear holds his paw up for a high five. Penguin just remains down, his eyes darting around. Bear then shrugs and turns. He walks off and actually bumps a table nearby with a coffee carafe. It falls over and coffee spills on the floor. Penguin rolls back and shrieks again as the scene cuts away.

Giovanni Aries remains in the office of Shaun Cruze as we see Clamidiya storm into the room.

Clamidiya: “What did you do to him? Why?”

Giovanni: “He’s not fallen enough. He will not take my teachings fully yet.”

Clamidiya: “He’s got cramps! What did yo-“

Just then, we see Josh Hudson step into the room and grab Giovanni Aries and pull him forward. The crowd roars as Giovanni rolls over and into the door way.

Hudson: “Alright. Enough of this crap! Grow the hell up!”

Giovanni just chuckles and gets up and Hudson kicks him in the ribs. Hudson turns and spins him around and throws him into the wall. Giovanni staggers back and Hudson nails him in the ribs with a shot and then another before turning and taking him over with a belly to belly suplex on the floor. Hudson gets up and stomps Giovanni in the chest and then again before we see Sammy Thomas Davies, still in pain, running up and grabbing Hudson and trying to pull him back. Sammy then turns and spins him around.

Sammy: “Stop it! I need him to help! I need him to-“

Clamidiya runs out.

Hudson: “Help you? Don’t get it-“

Sammy: “You don’t get it. You’re a star! You’re everything you thought you’d be! I’m not!”

Sammy then nails Hudson with a hard right. He nails him again and Hudson knees him in the ribs and throws him down. Giovanni Aries just backs up and smiles.

Giovanni: “See! They believe! They believe! You can too Hudson! You can too!”

Hudson extends his arms and backs up as Hudson watches him walk off, annoyed, as the scene fades to black.

Kandis vs. Autumn Valentine vs. Holly Adams

The opening of "Whore" by In This Moment fills the arena as red and pink lights swirl around...

{I'm the girl you've been thinking about, The one thing you can't live without
I'm the girl you've been waiting for
I'll have you down on your knees, I'll have you begging for more}

Kandis appears on the stage, a sultry smirk on her face as the crowd boos. She turns and shows off her notorious rear end, swaying it back and forth...

{I can be, I can be your eve... ry... thing}

The lights dim as the music seems to pause a moment, then Kandis turns around, arms spread and feet wide apart as vocalist Maria Brink shouts:

{I CAN BE YOUR WHORE!}

Kandis starts down the ramp as the rest of the chorus continues, the sway in her hips ever present as she smirks at all the boos, even blowing sarcastic kisses to the crowd.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a thirty minute time limit. First, from Santa Barbara, California, she is Kandis!"

{I am the dirt you created
I am your sinner, I am your whore
But let me tell you something, baby
You love me for everything you hate me for}

Kandis goes up the ring steps and enters the ring through the second and top rope slowly, making sure to show off her ass. The heavy music fades out as Kandis goes to her corner.

Sharper: “This could be an interesting match. Selena toying with her opponents earlier. This could be a potential preview.”

Knots: “Do you think she’ll pick these three not to be against her?”

Lyman: “I don’t know. I can come up with good reasons for everyone. Kandis was standing over Selena. Holly Adams and Selena have a long history. And Autumn Valentine…she could be the actual wildcard!”

A woman’s voice can be heard as the video screens display the words she's saying in unison.

"Lexy Chapel Proudly Presents"

“YOUR FUTURE WORLD CHAMPION”

"AUTUMN VALENTINE"

“Miss Nothing” by The Pretty Reckless hits the PA system as Autumn Valentine walks out onto the stage wearing a black jacket. Across her ring-gear we see the ‘Lexy Chapel Presents’ and ‘Chapel Show’ branding. She pauses on the stage for a moment before being joined by Lexy Chapel who starts pointing at her and yelling at the fans to cheer for her. Around Lexy’s neck we see a lanyard which appears to be a manager’s license.

Phillips: “Next, hailing from Los Angeles, California, accompanied, and PROUDLY represented, by Lexy Chapel, this is AUTUMN VALENTINE!”

Autumn walks to the ring accompanied by Lexy. She skips up to the apron and jumps up before sliding off her jacket and letting it fall to the floor. She then runs at the turnbuckles, climbing up and throwing up her arms before looking to the camera confidently. She jumps from the outside of the ropes to inside of the ring, rolling back to her feet before walking the middle of the ring and dropping down into the splits. Lexy walks behind her, pointing down at her and still trying to get the fans to support her. Lexy holds a hand down to pull Autumn back to her feet as Autumn walks to the corner, as the music fades out.

Sharper: “Autumn Valentine aiming big. After a historic TV Title reign, she wants to be World Champion. Could she, and Lexy Chapel, get there?”

Knots: “I don’t know, but we won’t hear the end of it until it happens!”

The camera men start directing Holly who continues to pose at the top of the ramp.

Phillips: “Their opponent, from Los Angeles, California, she is Holly Adams!”

Holly starts her walk down to the ring, continuing her pageant wave, with a large smile on her face as the crowd continues to jeer, the camera men following closely behind her. She stops halfway down the ramp and puts both hands on her chest thanking a fan for their "adoration," for her. She smiles before continuing down the ramp. She walks to the other side of the ramp, pretending to put her hands out to high five and immediately pulls them away and goes back to pageant waving. Some men from the camera crew can be heard shouting to each other over the music that they'll edit that into a high five in post.

As she comes around the corner, she hops up onto the ring apron. Holly starts to sing along with her theme song, looking directly into the camera closest to her. She gives a million-dollar smile before putting her hand on the camera and pushing it away and she gets into the ring. The Housewives' crew follow behind her from around the ring and start getting various shots of her from every angle.

Holly then grabs the top rope, bends down, and then snaps back quickly, flipping her blonde hair over her head, smiling brightly for the cameras. As she takes her place in the ring, she starts her pageant wave once again as her music dies down, the Housewives Crew taking their place in Holly's corner ready to capture everything.

Sharper: “Holly filmed here. Despite it being an off-season.”

Knots: “Can’t not have this covered!”

Sharper: “The issue is whether Holly Adams can focus and she did defeat Kandis, while teamed with Cid Turner, two weeks ago…”

Lyman: “They don’t like each other, do they?”

Sharper: “Not at all.”

The bell sounds as Holly turns and snaps at Kandis. Kandis smirks and steps up, but as she does, Autumn runs over and jumps up, dropkicking Kandis back. The crowd roars. Kandis hits the mat. Holly gets back up and turns and Kandis goes to nail her in the face. Holly smirks and points at her facemask. Kandis then kicks her in the ribs. She places Holly’s head between her legs. Sharper: “Just disrespect as Holly just pushes Autumn off with her boot.”

Holly then kicks her in the ribs and forearms her again before hoisting her up onto the top turnbuckle. Holly then gets up and climbs up and grabs Autumn by the head. She hooks her up and Kandis gets up and comes up behind Holly and spins around. She grabs Holly by the legs and then pulls her down, powerbombing her as Holly takes Autumn down with a superplex!

Sharper: “Powerbomb! Suplex!”

Knots: “And Kandis in control!”

Kandis then lifts up Holly’s legs and hoists her up and drops her with a sitout powerbomb.

1!

2!

Holly shoots her shoulder up and rolls over. Kandis gets up and walks over to the ropes. She bounces off and hits a leg drop to the back of Holly. She then looks at her and then turns and grabs Autumn. Kandis pulls Autumn up and clubs her in the back and then again before placing her head between her legs. Kandis hoists her up for a powerbomb, but Autumn nails Kandis with a couple of shots to the head. She slides down and hits a straight kick to the ribs. She then steps back, does some hand gestures before hitting a thrust kick to Kandis’s face. Autumn rolls through for the pin.

1!

2!

Holly breaks it up. The crowd ohs again.

Sharper: “Holly breaks it up! Autumn thought she had it!”

Lyman: “So did Lexy!”

Knots: “But this is still going!”

Holly then gets up and turns to Autumn who ducks a clothesline. Holly stops and turns and Autumn hits a superkick, knocking Holly through the ropes to the apron. Autumn staggers back and around as Kandis starts to get up. Autumn grabs Holly and pulls her up and forearms her in the jaw once and then again before Holly shoves her back and into Kandis who scoops her up and hits a powerslam. She rolls over and Autumn stirs and gets up and Kandis turns and hits her with the Gratuitous before snapping at her. Kandis then winces and turns as Holly enters and hits the Blonde Ambition. The crowd boos as Holly goes for the pin.

1!

2!

3!

Autumn just fails to break it up in time as Holly lets go and rolls out of the ring. She immediately starts to wipe herself off as the crowd boos and bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Holly Adams!”

Sharper: “By the nick of time. Autumn nearly broke it up, but Holly getting the pin!”

Knots: “We’ll never hear the end of this!”

Lyman: “But the unpredictability of the triple threat here on display. Anyone’s match. Holly just had the window and could that happen at Retribution!”

Sharper: “Could this be one of the triple threats at Retribution? If so…what a match!”

Holly backs up, holding her arm up as she keeps wiping herself off with her free hand. Autumn turns and looks at Holly, upset as Lexy snaps at the official and the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Ravyn Taylor talking to Nicole Kinneck.

Ravyn: “Please, just come with me. I need to talk to you-“

Nicole: “Let me get Gavi! We can do it all for Roy!”

Ravyn: “No…I need just you.”

Nicole looks around and then looks down.

Nicole: “Can I walk through the crowd like you?!”

Ravyn shrugs.

Ravyn: “Sure. We can do that. But we have to go now.”

Nicole: “YAAAAAAAY!”

Nicole runs off as Ravyn turns and follows after her as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, Tommy Valentine is shown standing outside of his locker room with Jessica Winters.

Winters: “I am here backstage with Tommy Valentine and tonight, Tommy, you’ll face Cid Turner inside a steel cage. You’ve been waiting for this match for a while. I know you’d love for it to be for the Adrenaline Championship, the one title you’ve not held in SCW yet, but presumably if you win, that could be in the cards.”

Tommy: “That’s just something that makes tonight bittersweet. I have Cid Turner inside a steel cage. And I heard he wanted to add a stip, a stip that’s been added…that if he can get his happy ass out of the cage, he’ll win. Well, he wants to show the yellow streak he’s got as he runs to save his ass, good on him, but he should listen to Shaun Cruze. I am not going to let it happen!”

The crowd roars.

Tommy: “This is months in the making. While Kandis proves she should be competing for the World Title each week, I’m going to prove that Cid Turner made the biggest mistake of his career. No, not screwing over his so-called friend Asher Hayes. That by showing he doesn’t have the balls to stand up to actually win a match… a match that involved Kennedy and myself…when Kennedy proved she couldn’t handle the pressure. Well…I’m going to get some revenge for that. I may not be Trios Champion, but tonight, I’m getting a match that I would’ve happily used a contract to get…minus the Adrenaline Title…I deal with that by beating his ass. But…”

Tommy then stops as his phone beeps. He looks down and pulls out his phone, briefly looking at it, before placing it back into his pocket.

Tommy: “I have to go.”

Tommy turns and walks off, not heading into the locker room behind him, but instead down the hallway.

The camera cuts to the crowd where we see a group of red-shirted security walking in through one of the ground-level entrances. They line up in front of the fans for a moment and seem to be holding them back. Then the lights go out leaving the arena in complete darkness. The screen fills with images of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s inaugural address.

“So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is—”

There’s a record scratch before a deep voice fills the arena.

“INFAMOUS!”

The opening of “Open Your Eyes” by Guano Apes hits the PA system.

“Hide your face forever
Dream and search forever-ever-ever-ever”

The song gets stuck on the word and is then interrupted by the deep sound of the voice of Marilyn Manson.

“Just lay your head in daddy’s lap
You’re a bad girl!”

“Bad Girl” by Avril Lavigne hits the PA system as we cut to the backstage. We see Ravyn Taylor walking the corridors, glancing back, with Nicole “Ducky” Kinneck skipping behind her. Ravyn turns and motions to her, guiding her as Nicole runs over and then goes over to a shot of Nicole looking at the breezeway. She turns to Ravyn. Ravyn nods and smiles. Nicole then runs out from the breezeway and looks around. She then throws her arms up, her World Tag Team Championship thrust in the air as the crowd cheers her. A few moments pass before Ravyn Taylor walks out after her, turning the cheers to boos. Nicole stops and looks around and turns as Ravyn says something to her. Nicole turns, pleading with the crowd to stop being Ravyn as Ravyn sighs, heading to the ring. Nicole then runs over and grabs her from behind, hugging her, and leading her to the ring as security keeps fans back.

Sharper: “I don’t believe this. Nicole Kinneck is coming out with Ravyn Taylor.”

Lyman: “Ravyn chose Nicole as her partner. Nicole is already the World Tag Team Champion!”

Knots: “But it’s for Roy! You know! Roy!”

Ravyn and Nicole get to the barricade. Nicole stops and Ravyn glances back. Nicole looks at the barricade and Ravyn slightly smiles before pointing at the barricade. Nicole then runs over and jumps up and grabs it, fumbling over the top of the barricade and landing on the mats. She throws her arms up, yelling out “I’m okay!” Ravyn smirks and heads to the barricade and steps over the barricade and to the ringside area. Nicole rolls into the ring as Ravyn Taylor walks up the steel steps and into the ring. The crowd boos her some more as she walks across the ring and over to the corner. There, she’s handed a microphone. Ravyn takes it as Nicole spins around the ring, her arms out, the title out in one hand. Ravyn ducks one spin as Nicole then stops and turns and smiles at Ravyn.

Sharper: “I don’t even know what we’re going to see here. Ravyn just asked Nicole to join her.”

Knots: “Yeah…and Nicole wanted to have fun with the entrance. She’s just having a grand old time.”

Ravyn looks at Nicole.

Ravyn: “Nicole….Nicole…”

Nicole looks at Ravyn.

Ravyn: “Thank you for coming out with me. I do really appreciate it. You know, it’s been hard this year…the passing of Roy-“

Nicole jumps up and throws her arms up, pointing at the heavens.

Nicole: “For Roy!”

The crowd cheers a bit as Ravyn smiles. She turns away a bit.

Lyman: “Is she getting teary-eyed again?”

Sharper: “If she is, she got Nicole to refocus.”

Ravyn: “Yes…for Roy. He was someone who I always went for guidance. A man who was able to challenge me intellectually…who pushed me. And Nicole, I’m so happy that you’ve been there as support for this all. Your willingness to stand here as my Tag Team partner at Retribution…and, yes….for Roy!”

Nicole jumps up again and points to the ceiling.

Nicole: “For Roy!”

The crowd even chants with her.

Ravyn: “To know you’ll be in my corner in just over two weeks…I know we can make sure that Roy’s memory will be honoured and holding SCW gold with you will certainly help there. But Nicole…I need to talk to you. I need you to focus here.”

Nicole looks at Ravyn, turning her head, nodding. Ravyn gets down to a knee. Nicole bends over, remaining eye to eye with Ravyn.

Ravyn: “Here…sit.”

Nicole drops down to her butt. She lets out an ow before a giggle. Ravyn just looks at her and Nicole then stops.

Ravyn: “I know that you’ve been on a heck of a run with my brother, Gavin. You two won Trios Tournament…won the Tag Titles…but…”

Ravyn sighs.

Ravyn: “He hasn’t been returning my calls. And Nicole, I know you’re close with him, but I need you to know this.”

Ravyn then reaches behind her and into the back of her tights, pulling out a folded up piece of paper. She then holds it up.

Ravyn: “Gavin isn’t a good person.”

Ravyn gulps and turns away. Nicole looks confused.

Ravyn: “See…you’ve noticed how he’s not been all into this. I mean how many times has he talked about Roy? You’re around him. How many?”

Nicole looks down and holds out her fingers. She goes to count to one, but stops.

Ravyn: “Exactly. And I was going through Roy’s things. Apparently, when we were young, Gavin…he always wanted to be a top star…a top athlete. Roy only supported him!”

Ravyn sighs as Nicole leans on Ravyn and hugs her. She even shushes Ravyn. Ravyn leans back.

Ravyn: “Look…”

Ravyn hands the paper that she pulled out. The camera is able to get a shot, showing what appears to be an older man, with a black eye.

Ravyn: “He…he wanted to win so much. He just wanted to win and Roy…he caught Gavin….Gavin has a dark side. He got so angry. I still remember the impact. I….”

Ravyn turns away, she brings her hand up as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “Is she accusing Gavin of…striking Roy? They aren’t brother and sister-“

Lyman: “Nicole doesn’t understand that!”

Ravyn stops and looks up as Nicole looks at the photo and then Ravyn.

Ravyn: “I’m sorry Nicole. Just…you need to know. Roy would want you to know. To know the truth about Gavin. And to right this…for him…with me….and-“

We then see Gavin Taylor walking out from the back, hurried. He holds a microphone in his hand.

Gavin: “Wait a damn minute! We’re not going to let this keep going!”

Nicole turns and looks at Gavin, almost heart-broken. Ravyn slowly stands up.

Gavin: “I’m not going to stand backstage and listen to you slander me Ravyn. I was going to see where this is going…but it’s clear that you’re trying to manipulate Ducky to side with you and ruin what we’ve had.”

Gavin walks over to the ring and climbs onto the apron. Ravyn steps back, looking concerned. Nicole sees this and then turns back to Gavin. Gavin looks at her.

Gavin: “Ducky…Look, we’ve been getting closer and closer. The piggyback rides. The ninja fights…the basketball game…the teambuilding. The-“

Gavin turns to Ravyn who just looks at Gavin, feigning concern. Gavin turns back to Ducky.

Gavin: “Ravyn is trying to end that. To manipulate you. Ducky…I need you to understand this…there is no Roy.”

Ducky steps back, stunned.

Gavin: “Ravyn is not my sister.”

Ravyn: “Don’t listen to him, Nicole. Don’t listen to him! He’s lying. He’s been ashamed of us. Ever since we turned on him when he started to-“

Gavin: “To what Ravyn?! What other lie you want to-“

Gavin steps forward and Nicole then grabs Gavin’s arm and spins him around, glaring right at Nicole. The crowd roars. Gavin stops and looks at Nicole. Ravyn smirks.

Gavin: “Ducky…”

Nicole looks at Gavin, eying him, before then stopping and smiling.

Nicole: “Hi Gavy! Look…I know you’re a good person! I-“

Ravyn: “He’s not. He’s the one manipulating you! Look! His career, it-“

Gavin: “Would you shut up?!”

Nicole then pushes Gavin back again before stopping and turning looking at Ravyn and then Gavin before smiling.

Nicole: “Roy! Roy! Roy!”

Nicole starts to throw her arms up as she starts to yell. The crowd starts to chant with her, reluctantly at first, before then continuing. Gavin just looks at Nicole as Ravyn then walks over and joins Nicole. Gavin looks at them both as Gavin then steps over. Ravyn backs up and rolls out of the ring. Before Gavin can do anything, Nicole grabs Gavin’s arm and points up and looks at him, saying “Roy!” over and over.

Sharper: “Nicole back on her wavelength…Or should I say Ducky. We saw two moments there where that wasn’t Ducky…”

Lyman: “We’ve not seen that at all since this whole journey started with Team Smashmouth Unicorn Puke…”

Sharper: “And Ravyn was smirking when she saw that.”

Knots: “Is that what she’s aiming for her? She wants to break this up for her own benefit? That’s what it looks like!”

Sharper: “And next week, it could get even more complicated. Gavin and Nicole will need to refocus and reunify to face the Happy Farmstead Friends. If Team SU doesn’t pin or submit the Friends, they’ll be added to the World Tag Team Championship match at Retribution too!”

Ravyn walks around the ring as Nicole continues to chant. Gavin watches Ravyn as Nicole thrusts his arm repeatedly in the air and the scene cuts away.

Jessica Winters stands with Amy Chastaine and Spencer Pryce, the SCW US Champion.

Winters: “Fans, we are back on Breakdown and I am with SCW Hall of Famer Amy Chastaine and the SCW US Champion, Spencer Pryce and Spencer, Amy, we’ve been seeing Tsunami continue to be a thorn in the side of Jaina. It took a weird turn last week as Tsunami apparently was smitten with Jaina and…fortunately, Spencer, after it all, you came out again to stop Tsunami from going too far.”

Pryce: “You know…I’m getting really sick of this. Tsunami was someone who came in roughly when I did and our careers so far in SCW can’t seem to get much distance and that’s not going to change while he’s targeting Jaina Lancaster and Marie Caedes and others like this and for what? Because he can. Because he says he now has a crush on her. I don’t care why it is. I see someone, a monster, who has tormented these two women and it’s going to stop.”

Pryce pauses.

Pryce: “I was thinking about this all last week and I think I have the answer. See, Tsunami needs to be not just stopped, but beaten. And if you’re not paying attention to me, Tsunami, you too Howe…then I’ll make it simple. See, at Retribution, I want you Tsunami. I want this to stop. I want you to finally learn that you can’t just have what you want. You can’t do what you want. Not without some big consequences. And Tsunami…at Retribution, those consequences come. And to make sure you know I’m serious…I’ll even put my title on the line. So you can’t complain about how I’m running, or how I fear a loss. I am confident, damn sure with you in my crosshairs. Because Tsunami…I will make you pay the price!”

Pryce steps back as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Dancing Bear has Lexy by the hand.

Lexy: “Bear…look, we can go over the script later-“

Bear: “No! No! Look, we have a match next week. Penguin and I-“

Lexy: “Yeah. And? You’re wrestlers! Of course you will-“

Bear: “For a Tag Title match!”

Lexy stops. She looks at him.

Lexy: “Really?”

Bear: “And now I have interview time and-“

Lexy then presumably sees Gavin Sattler. Lexy heads over to Gavin Sattler.

Lexy: “Gavin! Baby! Come on! Need you to get set up because the GREATEST manager in SCW is going to lead ANOTHER team to the Tag Team Titles-“

Bear runs over and nails Gavin Sattler. Sattler goes down and Bear stands over him.

Lexy: “Bear! What are you doing?!”

Bear: “That’s Gavin…he’s one of the tag champs. He was going to attack you! See! I saved you! I care for you! And while Ace Marshall is leaving for whatever Matt Hodges can give. Probably Syren. Too much makeup. Fake tits. You…all real. And-“

Lexy: “Oh God…Ace…wait…he should be tag champion. Matt took it from him. And wait…Syren…oh my God. That’s right. Matt Hodges probably is a matchmaker too! THIS IS THE NEW CONSPIRACY! Add CHBK…OF COURSE! My dad is now trying to get Ace away from me this way. IT ALL MAKES SENSE!”

Lexy turns and storms off as Dancing Bear looks at her and then back at Gavin Sattler.

Bear: “Next week, we’re beating you so we can take your titles! So HA!”

Bear goes to spit on Gavin before stepping back and coughing.

Bear: “Damn it…stupid bear head….”

Bear coughs some more and turns and heads off.

Matt Hodges vs. Syren

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area where we see a tour bus with Syren’s logo on the side. Syren walks out in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting. “Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Sinfully Seductive

Captivatingly Corrupt

DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the walkway to the crowd barricade before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Phillips: “The following contest is schedule for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, hailing from Los Angeles, California, she is Syren!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope and posing in the ring with both her arms outstretched. She screams before taking off her ring jacket and throwing it over the top rope toward the timekeeper’s table. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment before jumping back down and standing in her corner as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Last week things went up a notch between Syren and Hodges and Marshall. Matthews helping Syren. She is here tonight. But Syren going to quickly throw some cold water on matters with Hodges.”

Lyman: “A win here would maybe shut him up. Marshall and Hodges aren’t this well-oiled team.”

Sharper: “Meanwhile, at Retribution, we can tell you, well-oiled or not, Syren and Christy Matthews will team to face Matt Hodges and Ace Marshall.”

The Retribution logo comes up on the screen before we see a still for Matthews & Syren vs. Marshall & Hodges for a few moments.

I Want It All!
I Want It All!
I Want It All!
And I Want It Now!

The opening guitar riff of Queen’s “I Want It All” and Matt Hodges makes his way out from behind the curtain to momentous boos from the crowd. He glances behind him as he glares back. Ace Marshall sighs as he walks out from the back, shaking his head. Hodges turns and smirks, before heading to the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Ace Marshall, from Miami, Florida, he is Matt Hodges!”

The fans sing “Matt Hodges sucks!” in unison with the chorus of the song. Hodges slow moves up the steps, wipes his foot on the apron, and gets into the ring. He walks into the opposite corner and pulls on the top rope. “I Want It All” dies out as the fans continue to chant “Matt Hodges sucks!” Ace Marshall looks up at Hodges from the corner. Hodges turns to him, eying him briefly before turning back to Syren.

Sharper: “Matt Hodges arriving with his client, Ace Marshall.”

Knots: “Get the front row seat…literally!”

Sharper: “We’ll see what happens here. Hodges keeps telling Ace that beating Syren would get him back in World Title contention.”

Lyman: “Hodges facing Syren here…he angling for something similar. I thought he was angling for the tag titles!”

Syren looks across at Hodges, briefly looking at Ace, before turning back to Hodges. The bell sounds as Michael Constantine, the official, steps back out of the way. Syren steps up as Hodges turns and smirks and walks forward and Syren kicks him in the ribs. Hodges bends over and Syren forearms him in the jaw and locks in a side headlock. She pulls up and Hodges drags her into the ropes and fires her off. Syren bounces off. Hodges takes her down with a shoulder. Hodges turns and goes for a stomp. Syren moves out of the way. Hodges attempts another stomp, but Syren dodges again and gets up and Hodges turns and grabs Syren, but Syren grabs his arm and wrenches it. Hodges winces.

Sharper: “Syren showing her agility and she may be a bit quicker. Hodges with the bad leg.”

Knots: “Stomping the canvas won’t help. That can tweak something too!”

Ace looks on as Hodges grimaces in pain and Syren wrenches the arm again before then pushing Hodges back and hitting a dropkick. She goes for the pin.

Hodges kicks out. Hodges gets up and Syren forearms him in the jaw. He staggers back. Syren nails him with a hard right, getting Constantine to warn him before Syren kicks him again. She then climbs up to the middle rope and nails him with a series of hard forearm shots. Hodges takes them before Syren drops down. Hodges staggers out, wincing in pain. He turns around and Syren hits another dropkick. Hodges hits the mat and Syren goes for the pin.

Hodges kicks out again. He rolls over and out of the ring.

Sharper: “Syren with another dropkick. Another two count and Hodges to the floor!”

Lyman: “Ace certainly doesn’t look convinced or impressed!”

Sharper: “Hodges right now, not looking that great.”

Hodges walks around at ringside. (1) He winces and turns around as Ace looks at him. Hodges turns to him and snaps at him. (2) Syren then runs at the ropes and dives through, hitting a pescado, knocking Hodges back into the barricade. Syren rolls over. She gets up and plays to the crowd as they cheer. She bounces off and Hodges hits a back elbow. Syren staggers back and hits the ropes and steps up and Hodges hoists her up and turns and hits a vicious release spinebuster. Syren grimaces in pain and Hodges falls to the ropes.

Sharper: “Hard spinebuster. Syren’s had a history of neck problems!”

Knots: “Probably some scouting, but I think that was desperation.”

Lyman: “One hundred precent! But it did get Ace’s attention!”

Ace turns back to the ring as Hodges walks around the ring. Syren slowly gets up. Hodges turns and stomps her in the face. She rolls over. She starts to get up and Hodges grabs her and elbows her in the back of the head. Syren falls to the mat. She rolls over to the corner. Syren kicks out. Hodges looks up and grabs Syren and locks in a reverse chinlock. He pulls back as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “Syren in trouble as Hodges taking advantage of the impact of that spinebuster.”

Lyman: “And a choke. Now a chinlock.”

Syren reaches out as Hodges pulls back. Ace looks on, now focusing a bit more. Syren starts to get her knees under her. Hodges pulls back and Syren gets up and Hodges clubs her in the back. Syren elbows him. Hodges clubs her again before Syren elbows Hodges a second time and then runs forward, but Hodges pulls her down by the hair. Syren hits hard, holding her head and neck. Hodges jumps up and hits an elbow drop. He goes for the pin.

Hodges keeps holding on and Hodges attempts another, but Syren blocks it and elbows Hodges in the jaw and then again. She runs forward, bouncing off the ropes. Hodges attempts a clothesline. Syren ducks and bounces off the other side and hits a spinning heel kick. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Syren fires back. Spinning heel kick to the jaw of Hodges!”

Knots: “That’ll shut him up!”

Lyman: “Didn’t knock him out. Hodges stirring!”

Syren gets up and Hodges slowly gets up and staggers up and turns and Syren jumps up and hits the Golden Blonde. Hodges rolls over, holding his stomach. Syren jumps up and hits a senton backsplash. She goes for the pin.

Hodges kicks out. Syren falls to the ropes. She locks eyes with Ace again and turns around and Hodges grabs her and hits a release T-bone suplex.

Sharper: “Syren getting distracted a bit by Ace Marshall-“

Lyman: “Even swung at him!”

Sharper: “And a T-bone suplex takes her overhead.”

Knots: “Hodges getting the advantage there and Ace paying more attention. Hard for him to do, I know, but he’s doing it!”

Hodges turns and walks over to Syren and grabs her. Hodges then grabs her and Syren grabs him by the tights and pulls him through the ropes to the floor. Syren then falls to the mat. She looks around and starts to get up. She then turns and falls to the ropes, taking a moment to recover, before we suddenly see Matt Hodges crack her in the back with a steel chair he got from under the ring. The crowd ohs. The bell sounds. Hodges then winces as he rolls into the ring. He gets up as Ace looks up at Hodges, almost unsure of what to think.

Sharper: “Hodges just cracked Syren in the back with a chair!”

Lyman: “And got disqualified!”

Hodges then gets up and slams the chair into the back of Syren again. Syren rolls to her back. Hodges then turns to Ace.

Hodges: “Okay Ace. Time for you to make a decision. You want her?”

Hodges then turns and unfolds the chair just a bit before placing it over Syren’s head. The crowd ohs and buzzes. Ace climbs onto the apron and looks at Hodges and then SYren.

Hodges: “You want to get back to the top by beating her…or do you want me to end that plan right now?”

Hodges winces a bit as he places his foot next to Syren’s head. Syren grabs at the chair and Hodges stomps her in the ribs before turning to Syren and placing his foot on the chair again. Ace then steps into the ring and steps up and holds his hand out. Hodges looks at Ace as he then smiles. Then, we see Christy Matthews, just as last week, running down from the back. She bolts down to the ring and slides into the ring. Hodges drops down and rolls out as Ace turns and exits the ring, looking in the ring. Christy slides in and goes over to Syren, quickly taking the chair off from around her neck.

Sharper: “Hodges was forcing Ace to make a decision. I think Ace made one!”

Knots: “She is going to try and beat Syren…and with Hodges’s help!”

Lyman: “And for the second week in a row, Christy Matthews with the save. I know Syren has wanted to operate on her own, but it’s clear, in this situation, Christy is her guardian angel!”

Sharper: “From the City of Angels and we’re seeing how far Hodges will go to manipulate and Ace and Syren caught in the middle. Christy’s not going to let it go farther!”

Syren touches her throat and looks out as Christy watches Hodges and then Ace. Hodges smiles as he walks around the ring. Ace watches him before glancing back at Ace and then heading over to the rampway as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Jessica Winters stands with Selena Frost and Deanna Frost backstage. Selena has the SCW World Championship over her shoulder.

Winters: “I am here with Selena Frost, the SCW World Champion and Deanna Frost, and first off Deanna, congratulations on your win earlier.”

Deanna: “Thanks!”

Winters: “Selena…you’ve been watching all night. We saw a preview of what one of the triple threats could look like. Have you given any thought? Have any idea which way you’ll go?”

Selena smirks and turns to Jessica.

Selena: “Oh, I have ideas. But I can think about them. Maybe I put Brittany in the same ring as Holly. I know they know each other. Maybe I put myself in the same ring as Kimberly Williams and get a bit of revenge for last week. Maybe Kandis and I will share a ring. Maybe I’ll make some sort of statement with who is in one match versus the other. So many possibilities!”

Selena smiles.

Selena: “And I think I’m going to let them wait a bit more. Because tonight, a lot has been made clear and people are throwing cards down on the table. And for once, I’m going to hold my cards until I have to throw them down. You know why?”

Winters: “Why?”

Selena: “Because Retribution is going to see one of the biggest World Title matches in SCW history. And I’m going to make sure whoever walks out, me or someone else…they’re going to earn it. One word…integrity. I will make sure of it. BELIEVE IT!”

Winters: “Thank yo-“

Deanna: “Jessica…sorry to interrupt, but I have something to add to that.”

Winters: “Please…go ahead.”

Deanna steps up.

Deanna: “While I was getting ready to face Diamond Steele earlier, I heard what they had to say about me. I can live with that. I’ve heard worse. But I also saw what they had to say about Jordan Majors. Dawn…for what you did at Body, Heart, and Soul…you have no moral high ground. You knew Jordan was going through several things. But you then attack her like you did and you continue to slander her. You know what Dawn…your little list, I have a list too. While Selena stands for integrity, I do too. And I stand by people I call a friend. And after last week and this week…you want Marie. So do I. Throw her in there too. But Dawn…I want you!”

Deanna turns to Selena.

Selena: “Believe it!”

Deanna smirks as we cut away.

COMMERCIALS

We open up backstage, hearing a bit of a commotion. A camera runs down the hallway as we see Tommy Valentine storm out of one room. He then shakes out his hand as he walks forward. Tommy then looks up as we see Brittany Lohan walking over to Tommy. The crowd roars.

Tommy: “Now we’ll see how things turn out.”

Lohan: “We will. At least one issue may be dealt with.”

Lohan then steps forward and past Tommy as the camera follows Lohan as Lohan pauses for a moment before stepping forward as we see Alana Starr standing over Kennedy Street, who is starting to get up, looking around, her hair a mess, and a cut appearing on her forehead. She goes up to touch it before bringing her hand down, almost shaking in devastation.

Lohan: “Kennedy…what happened? I just went to get a drink-“

Kennedy: “What happened?!”

Alana: “Brittany…how-“

Lohan: “I wasn’t here!”

Kennedy: “I was attacked…assaulted…no…this isn’t going to happen. And I’ve been cut. My BEAUTIFUL face. I’ve been maimed! I….where the hell is Shaun?!”

Kennedy gets up, staggering up and storming past Brittany. Brittany turns and follows after as Alana does too. We then hear Kennedy yell out again.

Kennedy: “Shaun!!!!!”

Kennedy heads down the hallway as we cut away.

Owen Lee vs. Derek Adonis

The lights to the arena go out as the choral sounds of "Personal Jesus" by Vocal Skyline begins to play. As the song begins, Derek Adonis steps out atop the ramp, clad in a white robe with a black sash over his neck. He stops atop the ramp for a brief prayer before walking to the ring. He attempts to shake the hands of his congregation along the way, though only those willing to present.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall. Introducing first, weighing in at  two hundred and seventy pounds, he is…Derek! Adonis!”

Once he gets to the ring, he climbs up the stairs and passes through the middle and top ropes. Stepping into the ring, Derek moves to the middle of the ring where he Tebows - another moment in inspirational prayer.

The opening rifts to ‘Here we Go’ by Chris Classic blasts through the PA, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor

“I been more than ready
Preppin' heavy
For this day to come”

Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as Daisy Lee walk out from the back, and stands behind him

“And so now nothing can stop me
I just grind and work
Yeah yeah, you know the motto
You know we goin' hard cause we might never see tomorrow”

He begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers, before sliding in and under the bottom rope as Daisy walks around the ring, and walks up the steps, bending through the strands.

“I keep my eye on the fakes and got real from it
Mastered patience and free will from it
That's the real motivation some people kill for it
I keep reachin' for greatness because I'm built from it”

Owen points to the turnbuckle and then runs towards it, bouncing on the middle ropes and back flipping backwards, landing on both feet.

“Here we go
Give it a 100 never nothin' less
Here we go
We comin', you already know the rest
Here we go
We never settle 'cause we know it best
Who wanna test? Who?
Leave you outta breath”

Owen pulls on the top rope a couple of time, stretching out as his music fades. He then walks over to Daisy for some last-minute words.

Phillips: “And his opponent, accompanied to the ring by Daisy Lee, weighing in at  one hundred and ninety-five pounds, Owen! Lee!”

The ref calls for the bell. Owen steps out of his corner, as does Derek. They begin to circle one another. Owen lunges forward, engaging in a lock-up. Derek backs Owen into the ropes, before Owen shoves Derek back, but only a little bit.

Sharper: “Early tie-up with Derek using his size advantage.”

Simon: “Owen tried to move, barely doing so.”

Knots: “Derek is a whole lot of man.”

Derek goes for a running clothesline, but Owen rolls under. Derek turns around, and Owen leaps into the air, connecting with a dropkick. Derek only stumbles back.

Sharper: “Owen got all of that one, but only staggered Derek.”

Owen leaps up and hits another dropkick, sending Derek into the ropes, only for Derek to come back with a clothesline, leveling Owen.

Simon: “Derek back to using his size advantage, nailing Owen with that clothesline.”

Derek goes for a quick cover.

Sharper: “One count for Derek. It’s going to take more than that to keep the former World Champion down.”

Derek gets to his feet, and reaches down to pick Owen up. Owen fires back with a European uppercut. Owen then hits a dropkick to Derek’s left knee. Derek drops to one knee.

Knots: “Oh, Owen managed to get the big man down. Good on him!”

Owen gets to his feet then delivers a kick to the chest, followed by a second and a third. Owen then grabs Derek and plants him with a DDT. He goes for the cover.

Sharper: “Owen in firm control here, keeping the big man down.”

Owen goes to grab Derek, but Derek hits a thumb to the eye, out of the ref’s line of sight.

Simon: “He got him in the eye. Talk about desperate.”

Knots: “I don’t think the ref saw it, so it’s all fair in love and war.”

Owen stumbles back, as Derek climbs to his feet. Derek clubs Owen in the back then hooks him and drives Owen to the mat with a body slam. Derek grabs Owen off the mat, then hooks him once again, driving back to the mat with a fall away slam. Derek then goes for a cover.

Owen leans his head back before delivering a headbutt, followed by a second. He hits a third and Derek breaks the hold. Both men stagger back. Derek then steps forward as does Owen, but Owen hits a step up enziguri. Derek drops to one knee. Owen hits a few kicks to the chest, before connecting with one to the head. Owen then bounces off the ropes and plants Derek with a curb stomp!

Sharper: “Owen hitting the move he calls Redemption.”

Owen goes for the cover.

Simon: “And Alexis Quinne studying Owen’s match it seems.”

The cameras shown Owen talking with Daisy once again before we go to commercial.

Breakdown returns backstage as we see Shaun Cruze now in his office, reclaimed from Giovanni Aries, and grabbing some papers and placing them on his desk. Kennedy Street storms into the room. Alana Starr walks in with her as Brittany Lohan follows before Kennedy steps up to Shaun and points at her forehead.

Kennedy: “LOOK!”

Cruze: “Kennedy…what happened?”

Kennedy: “What happened? Some brute came into my locker room and ASSAULTED me and my terrible security did nothing to stop it. So here’s what you need to do to fix it. Tommy Valentine…he needs to be fired and Brittany’s World Title shot should be mine. They both made big mistakes!”

Kennedy turns to Brittany at this point and then turns back.

Cruze: “Kennedy…I’m not going to do either. You’ve been a thorn in Tommy’s side, everyone’s side. While I’m not going to condone backstage assaults, I can’t help but feel that many you’re learning a lesson here.”

Kennedy: “Are you serious?! After everything I’ve done to make you a success?”

Cruze: “Deadly serious.”

Kennedy looks around and then turns to Lohan, before turning to Cruze.

Kennedy: “Fine…”

Kennedy turns to Brittany.

Kennedy: “You’re fired!”

Lohan smirks a bit. Kennedy turns to Shaun.

Kennedy: “And you know what…enjoy leading SCW to obscurity and irrelevance! I QUIT!”

The crowd roars as Kennedy turns to Alana.

Kennedy: “Come on!”

Kennedy storms off with Alana looking at Shaun and then Brittany before following Kennedy. Shaun turns to Brittany as Brittany smiles and leaves the office.

Dawn Lohan vs. Kimberly Williams

SCW Television Championship

"Confident" by Demi Lovato echoes from the loud speaker. Dawn Lohan pushes her way through the curtain. She stands in front of the entrance way, she takes a moment to soak in the reaction from the crowd. As the music is coursing through the arena she knows she can't delay the inevitable. She slowly makes her down to the ring, all business. She makes her way to the ring steps.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a fifteen minute time limit and is for the SCW Television Championship. First, the challenger, on her way to the ring, from San Diego, California, she is Dawn Lohan!”

When she reaches the top of the steps, she walks along the apron. Grabbing the top rope she pulls back, using the momentum she propels herself forward over the top rope into the ring. She immediately springs up. She walks to the turnbuckle, stands on the middle turnbuckle soaking in the atmosphere. She hops off the turnbuckle and remains in the corner until the match gets underway.

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan last week was part of Kimberly Williams sick game and well, she’s returning to the ring with high stakes.”

Knots: “Yeah, she could get some revenge and walk out TV Champion.”

Lyman: “That’s if Kimberly Williams plays ball.”

The opening chords of “Paranoid” begin to play. Kimberly Williams steps out onto the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans. The SCW Television Championship is around her neck. A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight. She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts, the SCW Television Champion, the Woman Scorned, Kimberly Williams!”

The crowd cheers. She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match. The referee comes over and Kimberly takes the title off from over her head, waving it in front of Steve Hollinsworth. She pulls away as he’s going to take it before holding it out again. Hollinsworth takes it as Kim chuckles to herself. Hollinsworth holds it over his head as the SCW Television Championship logo comes across the screen. Kim then stops and walks over to Phillips and grabs his microphone as he exits the ring.

Sharper: “Looks like we’re going to hear from Kim.”

Kim: “Now, now…Dawn…before we start, since apparently SCW won’t recognize me as the Underground Champion…but look…Underground! It says right there.”

Kim walks over to the title and points to it. The cameras focus on the vandalized title.

Kim: “I will let you walk out TV Champion right now for ….$5 000! What do you say?”

Kim looks at the title and then to Dawn. Dawn shakes her head.

Kim: “Fine…$4 975!”

Dawn steps up. Kim turns back to the title.

Kim: “Want to take a look at it, or-“

Kim grabs the title to turn and attack Dawn, but Dawn kicks Kim in the ribs. The crowd roars and some boo as the bell sounds. Dawn forearms Kim in the jaw and then pushes her into the corner where she shoulders her over and over in the corner. Dawn steps out and whips Kim across the ring. Kim hits the corner and runs out. She clotheslines Dawn down. Dawn rolls over and gets up. Kim turns and rakes her eyes. Some cheer as Kim then kicks Dawn in the ribs. She shoves her back into the corner and Kim elbows her in the jaw and then rears back and elbows her again and again and again.

Kim turns back and Dawn grabs her and throws her into the corner. Dawn kicks her in the ribs and chops her. The crowd woos. She kicks her again and chops her again. More woos.

Kim kicks out. Kim turns and gets up as Dawn grabs her. She pulls her away from the ropes and nails her with a hard right.

Sharper: “Dawn, I think, is aware that Kim may just decide to get disqualified. You saw her pull her away from the ropes.”

Knots: “She wants to knock Kim around. That’s for sure.”

Sharper: “And let’s be clear – Kim getting disqualified would not be out of cowardice. More that she just does what she wants.”

Lyman: “Something she could use to her advantage at Retribution!”

Dawn whips Kim across the ring. Kim bounces off and Dawn hits a leg lariat. She then gets up and hits a leg drop. Dawn rolls over and gets up and drives her elbow into Kim’s chest. She gets up and goes for a knee drop, but Kim moves out of the way. Dawn rolls over and gets up. Kim turns and rakes her eyes again before kicking her in the ribs. She then pokes her eyes and then snapmares Dawn over. Kim just kicks her in the spine. Dawn rolls over in pain, arching her back. The crowd ohs. Lyman: “She even shrugged before doing it. Almost asking why not?”

Dawn turns and Kim kicks her in the ribs over and over and over again. The referee starts to count.

Sharper: “Dawn in control. Working fast to prevent Kim from doing anything else.”

Knots: “You have to with her.”

Lyman: “Kim’s getting up!”

Dawn jumps off and Kim moves. Dawn rolls through. She gets up and Kim kicks her in the ribs. She then grabs her head going for the Ave Maria!

Sharper: “Wait! That’s Marie’s finisher!”

Knots: “Is it Kim? Is it Marie? Is it screwing with-“

Dawn shoves Kim off. She bounces off and Dawn runs forward. Kim goes for a clothesline. Dawn ducks and spins through to the apron. She springboards to the top rope and hits the WONDERFUL-Forearm. The crowd roars. Dawn goes for the pin.

The crowd roars and the bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, and NEW SCW Television Champion, Dawn Lohan!”

Sharper: “She picks up a title she’s never held and has pinned Kimberly Williams-“

Knots: “Is that her?”

Sharper: “Officially it is and she’s the new champ!”

Lyman: “Kim didn’t want it, but she sure was willing to screw with Dawn!”

Sharper: “And look out! Look out! Marie!”

Knots: “Or is it Kim?!”

We see Marie sliding into the ring as Dawn is handed the TV Title. She holds it up and Marie comes up behind Dawn and grabs her and drops her with the Ave Marie. The crowd boos. Dawn rolls over, holding her head in pain. Marie then looks at her and walks around the ring. Kim stirs as Marie goes over to her and helps her up. The crowd boos as the scene cuts away.

Shaun Cruze is shown walking backstage. Selena Frost steps out of her locker room and turns, only to stop.

Selena: “Shaun. Was just going to come find you.”

Cruze: “We had the same idea. I was going to come find you. Remember earlier tonight?”

Selena: “Of course. Why I was going to come talk to you?”

Cruze: “Well you’ve probably noticed a few things I have.”

Selena: “More than a few. As I said earlier, people are putting cards on the table.”

Cruze: “Well, about that…I think I’m going to have you put your cards down on the table next week. Give it some thought. Because next week, all six of you are going to be in the ring when you make your decision.”

Selena smiles.

Selena: “I can live with that. Look forward to it.”

Cruze: “Me too.”

Cruze turns and heads off as Selena smiles and we cut away.

Cid Turner vs. Tommy Valentine

Steel Cage Match

The lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few moments of silence, “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd boos as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd with the SCW Adrenaline Championship around his waist. Cookie Dreams comes skipping out behind him, receiving a mixed reaction from the crowd as she gives Cid an exaggerated thumbs up while he continues looking out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp with Cookie trailing not far behind, happily waving to nearby fans.

Phillips: “The following contest is a steel cage match for TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening. The match can be won by either pinfall, submission or escape the cage. First, on his way to the ring, from Denver, Colorado, accompanied by Cookie Dreams, he is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Cid Turner!”

“My little blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy

One day you'll grow up and be distressed

One day you'll grow up and reject everything

I've set out for you”

Cid continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring while continually muttering to himself. Cid reaches the ring as Cookie stays on the outside, making her way around the corner. Cid climbs up the steps before stepping into the cage. He looks around and enters the ring. He then slowly pulls himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while taking a deep breath. He takes the Adrenaline Championship from off his waist and holds it into the air.

“My only dear long wasteful son

One day you'll wonder what you've become”

The music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes. He leans through the ropes and hands the Adrenaline Championship to Cookie, who gleefully takes it, through the door. She then heads to Cid’s corner. Cid leans up against the corner and strokes his overgrown beard.

Sharper: “So normally in SCW, steel cage matches are pinfall or submission only. Cid Turner demanded escape the cage.”

Lyman: “He wanted the cowardly way to win. That’s what Tommy Valentine said.”

Sharper: “We’ll see if it plays a role. Either way, Tommy Valentine is hoping it won’t get that far.”

The arena's lights cut out completely, plunging the whole room into darkness for several seconds before the screens light up to display four words.

HEART FILLED WITH HATE

The screens show static for a few seconds before going dark once more. The black screen starts to pulse now like a heartbeat and on each pulse that reverberates round the arena, a shot of Thomas in various poses is shown before reverting to the words on screen until the next pulse that sounds like a bass drum beat with increasing volume until a final shot of him holding the SCW Title aloft after winning the match at Taking Hold Of The Flame is Shown and remains until two green fireworks shoot from the rafters and explode on the ramp. The explosion drifts across the ramp before the beginning chords to "Cut The Cord" by Shinedown, hits.

A shot of "Thorn" going for the Swanton from the top of a chamber pod at Under Attack 2009 is shown in slow motion as he misses it and hits nothing but canvas. A shot now of him hitting the Socially Unacceptable Moonsault stomp from the top rope onto Justin Davis is shown, the impact punctuated by the last word of the verse before a shadowed figure can be seen standing in front of the curtain at the top of the ramp.

"FREE-DOM LALALALA FREE-DOM FOLLOW ME!"

As the last word echoes, the lights start to strobe again briefly as the song reverberates throughout the arena now, causing the fans to start jeering, the heat almost palpable in the air.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Los Angeles, California, he is Tommy Valentine!”

The lights finally flicker back on and Thomas Valentine can now be seen on top of the arena's ramp as he looks out into the audience that are now booing loudly, chanting obscenities in some cases. He stops and smiles a little before spinning around away from the fans and holding his arms outwards with his palms upwards, he then stops and then shakes his head before smirking and shrugging. Fireworks then shoot out at the top of the ramp in a burst before Thomas starts walking down to the ring. As he walks past the barrier, he looks out into the crowds and goes to high five a few fans and moves his hand at the last second, instead running it through his hair and chuckling before moving on down the ramp, the smirk still on his face before he walks over to the cage door. He steps up the steel steps and enters the cage, slamming the door closed behind him. Tommy then steps into the cage as Cid looks across. Tommy just smirks.

Sharper: “Tommy Valentine looking forward to this. That smirk saying it all.”

Knots: “Time for Cid to find out if he can fly.”

Lyman: “I don’t think he can.”

Knots: “He better learn!”

Aaron Demitra is in the ring and looks at both. He then backs up and calls for the bell. The bell sounds. Cid then steps up as Tommy does too. Tommy swings with a huge haymaker. Cid ducks and then hits a jawbreaker. Tommy falls back as Cid turns and runs to the ropes. He climbs up and grabs at the cage. He starts to climb up, but Tommy gets back up and runs over and grabs Cid by the leg. He then pulls him down. Cid lands on his feet and staggers back and Tommy nails him with a forearm and then another and then a third. Cid falls into the ropes. Tommy grabs him and whips him across the ring. Cid bounces off and Tommy jumps up and hits a flying forearm smash. Cid hits the mat. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And here we go. Cid wanted a quick one. Tommy stopped him and now, the beatdown begins.”

Lyman: “He’s been waiting for this and the cage is supposed to keep him in. The escape the cage is nice and all, but you gotta get the opportunity!”

Cid gets up and Tommy kicks him in the ribs. He nails him with a hard right. He pushes him into the ropes and goes to fire him across. Cid spins through and sends Tommy in. Tommy bounces off and Cid nails him with a hard right. Tommy hits the mat. He gets back up and turns and Cid chops him. The crowd woos. Cid nails him with a hard right and then runs him over to the corner, driving Tommy face first into the top turnbuckle. Cid then turns and stomps him in the ribs before stomping him over and over again. The crowd boos.

Demitra counts, but Cid keeps stomping him, getting a few more shots over Demitra’s pleas. He then turns and walks off and heads for the door. He grabs at the latch, trying to open it and flicking at it as Tommy pulls himself up. He winces and Cid glances back. He then runs back at Tommy and Tommy runs out and nails him with a clothesline.

Sharper: “Cid created another opening.”

Knots: “Door latches are terribly finicky. Especially when you’re wanting not to be killed!”

Sharper: “Cid’s confidence maybe evaporating in this one. Definitely after that clothesline!”

Tommy turns and grabs Cid and kicks him in the ribs. He then turns and throws him into the ropes. Cid bounces off and Tommy lifts him up and back drops him. The crowd cheers. Cid rolls over and gets up and Tommy hits a dropkick. Cid hits the mat. Tommy goes for the pin.

Tommy kicks out. Both get up and Tommy cracks Cid with a hard right. Cid hits the mat and pops up and moves to the corner.

Lyman: “Cid cracked!”

Sharper: “Hard right and Tommy got all of it. Cid popped right back up.”

Tommy turns and kicks him in the ribs. He nails him with a hard right and then kicks him again before nailing him with another hard right. Cid staggers along the ropes. Tommy follows up and grabs him and whips him across the ring. Cid bounces off and Tommy jumps up and hits a leg lariat. Cid hits the mat and rolls over. Tommy then grabs him by the hair. He drags him up. He then scoops him up and hits a snap back suplex. Tommy sits up next to him. He glances at Cid and shakes his head.

Tommy: “Nah…we’re only getting start, Cid!”
