“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Syren are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “On the final stop before Apocalypse, SCW Breakdown comes to live from Buffalo, New York!”

The cameras continue to pan the crowd before we cut to ringside and the announce position where Adam Sharper and Lucas Knight sit.

Sharper: “Hello again everyone. Adam Sharper here with Lucas Knight, joining me again for this week while Jonathan Knots recovers. And tonight, some big matches including one I know you have some thoughts on.”

Knight: “Syren and Chris Cannon will team up tonight against the European Fiery Nation. The Cowgirls from Hell will be watching.”

Sharper: “Xander Valentine to also go to battle with his former Trios Tournament partner, Gavin Taylor. That, plus, two titles on the line – Polly Pingotti will defend the SCW Television Championship and Kimberly Williams makes her first appearance in the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament, competing and defending, against Chris Dumont!”

Syren & Chris Cannon vs. The European Fiery Nation (Oskar Theron & Dakon Theron)

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain, accompanied by Lexy Chapel, dressed in a new Syren t-shirt, tied up in front, exposing her stomach, and wearing jeans. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client.

Sharper: “And Syren coming out – not in her gear.”

Knight: “Oh no…I think they came here for a fight.”

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Phillips: “The opening contest…”

Syren then drops down, stopping her entrance and walking over to Phillips, interrupting his introduction. Lexy turns to her as Syren then asks for the microphone. She’s handed it as her music fades out. The lights go out with a flick of a switch plunging the arena into complete darkness. A few fan’s flashes can be seen going off and as they do the haunting opening to Paint it Black by Hidden Citizens begins to play over the P.A System. While it does CHRIS CANNON appears on the big screen, and the moment it does a spotlight shines down directly to the stage where the man stands. The light comes back on next when the lyrics begin and we see Chris Cannon is not alone. A brunette stands with him while he wears a t-shirt and jeans too. His long dark hair hanging down over his face.

Cannon begins the walk down towards the ring. Yvonne walks behind him smiling and waves to a few fans. Chris does not acknowledge them. Instead when he reaches the bottom of the ramp he stops for a moment before throwing his head back so the hair no longer obscures his face a look of pure intensity and focus on display. He quickly leaps onto the apron and enters the ring while Yvonne stands at the bottom of the ramp. Cannon walks over to a corner and climbs onto the 2nd rope and looks out at the crowd and hits his chest as a final acknowledgement to them.

Sharper: “Cannon getting in the zone here.”

Knight: “Syren and Cannon both dressed for a street fight. This is supposed to be normal rules, right?”

Sharper: “I think we know what they’re thinking here and the EFN has never had a problem with a no holds barred fight. They’re prepping for the Cowgirls!”

Yvonne walks around the ring as the music fades out. Syren turns and steps forward as Cannon walks around the ring, maintaining his focus.

Syren: “I think we’re going to do something a bit different tonight, here in Buffalo!”

The crowd roars.

Syren: “For those of you not as observant, we’re not here to wrestle. I’m not in my gear. Neither is Chris. But what we are is here to fight. The Cowgirls from Hell – we put out the challenge. We’re ready to settle this and to remove all doubt. But I figure while we’re hear about how fearsome you all are, you should remember that we are not to be slept on. And so…we seem to have the perfect opponents.”

The crowd roars.

Syren: “The EFN want everything to be hardcore. Well, we’re ready for a street fight. So Oskar, Dakon…if you want, let’s throw out the rules. One fall to a finish. And may the best team win!”

The crowd roars.

Syren: “And Meghan…watch closely!”

Syren throws the microphone down as “Off To War” by Behemoth plays over the sound system. Ginny walks out with Dakon Theron and Oskar Theron. They look at the ring. Oskar and Dakon then nod before start to storm to the ring. The crowd erupts. They jog down to the ring. Syren and Chris Cannon drop down to the floor as the official, Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell.

Sharper: “And here we go! And I’m being told, Hollinsworth was too, that CHBK has approved this to be a street fight.”

Knight: “This is going to be a rough one!”

Cannon steps up and nails Dakon with a hard right and then another and another. Syren forearms Oskar and nails him again and then grabs him and runs him over to the steel steps. Oskar staggers off and spins off. Syren follows. We cut to Cannon hammering away on Dakon against the barricade, nailing him with hard right hands. He then grabs him and goes to whip him across the ringside area, but Dakon spins through and sends Cannon in. Cannon hits the barricade. Dakon runs forward, but Cannon runs forward and clotheslines him down. Syren then grabs Oskar, but Oskar rakes her eyes and then runs her into the barricade. Lexy looks on, yelling at him to get off of her, only for Oskar to nail her with a chop. The crowd woos. He chops her again before then cuffing her with a European uppercut.

Sharper: “And this fight, starting on the floor. Street fight rules, meaning onefall to a finish, but it has to take place in the ring.”

Knight: “I don’t know what they’re trying to prove. They’re risking their health to make a point.”

Sharper: “You know both well. Both are stubborn. Both also do not like being overlooked!”

Oskar pulls Syren off, but Cannon heads over and nails Oskar with a hard right. Oskar falls to the mats. He starts to get up and Cannon grabs him, locks in a loose sideheadlock before nailing him in the jaw with a hard right. Oskar staggers around and Syren grabs him and drives him face first into the steel steps. Oskar drops to the mats. Cannon walks around the ring and heads back over to Dakon. He turns the corner and Dakon then hoists him up and spins around, dropping Cannon face first into the steel steps with a flapjack. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Face first into the steps. Steel meets flesh and steel always wins.”

Knight: “And now Dakon getting a big break to get EFN in here.”

Dakon gets up and looks under the ring. He grabs a steel chair and slides it into the ring. He then grabs Cannon and pulls him up, but when he turns to move him to the ring, Syren enters the ring and runs across and hits a baseball slide, knocking Dakon back into the barricade. Syren then turns and grabs the steel chair. Oskar, however, rolls into the ring. Syren turns and runs at Oskar. Oskar ducks as Syren goes to throw the chair at his head. It hits the ropes and lands in the mat. Syren turns around and Oskar jumps up and drives her down with a jumping reverse bulldog. Oskar then turns and takes the chair, unfolding it and placing in next to Syren. He then runs across the ring, hops over Syren onto the chair and then jumps to the top rope and dives back with a moonsault to the head of Syren.

Sharper: “And Oskar Theron! From the chair to the ropes and what a moonsault.”

Knight: “It’s not just opening up the chairs as a weapon. They can be used in so many other ways and the EFN knows just that!”

Sharper: “And a cover!”

Oskar covers Syren.

Syren kicks out. She turns as Oskar then gets up. Cannon grabs Dakon and throws him into the ring apron. He drops down as Cannon turns and slides into the ring. Oskar lifts Syren up and places her in the corner and hits a series of European uppercuts. After the fourth, Cannon runs up behind him and grabs him and hits a snap German suplex. The crowd ohs. Oskar rolls over to his stomach and looks around. He starts to get up and Cannon grabs him and hooks him up. He glances behind him to see the chair set up and then hits a vertical suplex, throwing Oskar back first into the chair. The crowd ohs as Oskar rolls over, writhing in pain.

Sharper: “And Cannon just driving Oskar Theron into that chair.”

Knight: “Trying to hurt him. And I guess that’s the point!”

Sharper: “And here comes Dakon Theron with a chair of his own!”

Dakon enters, having grabbed another chair from under the ring, and he gets up. Cannon turns as Dakon drives the end into his ribs. Cannon bends over and Dakon slams the chair into his back. Cannon drops. Syren then steps out and Dakon nails her in the ribs before then slamming her in the back with the chair. Dakon then drops the chair and rolls to the floor .He then looks underneath before pulling out a trash can, full of kendo sticks, a road sign, a 2x4 and more. He throws it into the ring. It hits the mat and bounces. Oskar, still in pain, crawls over and grabs the road sign. Dakon then pulls out a table as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “And now the EFN moving some furniture. Bringing in some plunder.”

Knight: “And this is the issue with a team like the EFN. They have no problem going right to the weapons. There’s almost pride in the damage they want to do. I get wanting to make a statement, but why this team.”

Sharper: “You know why this team?”

Knight: “True – but Cannon and Syren, they have their eyes on the World Title. Why risk the injury?”

Sharper: “You’re really concerned about the Straders.”

Knight: “I know what they can do. Syren and Cannon do as well and I fear they’ve gone too aggressive here.”

Oskar takes the road sign as Cannon gets up and Oskar nails him with it. Cannon drops to the mat. He rolls over, holding his face and moves to the corner. Syren moves to the ropes as Dakon sets up the table before sliding in. Oskar grabs the kendo stick and nails Syren in the back. She crawls over to the corner. Dakon grabs the trash can and places it opening down. He then turns and grabs Syren and pulls her out into a drop toe hold, driving her face first into the top of the can. The crowd ohs as the can goes flying. Dakon goes for the pin.

Syren kicks out. Dakon turns and nails her with a couple of hard right hands before Oskar comes over and just uses the kendo stick, pressing it against the throat of Cannon. Hollinsowrth callsf or the break, but Oskar keeps choking Cannon. He pulls away and looks around as Dakon gets up. The two brothers talk as we see Cannon fiddling with his belt. Oskar then comes back over and Cannon reaches up and rakes the eyes. He then kicks Dakon. He kicks Oskar before pulling off his belt and then turning and whipping Dakon in the face. He staggers back as Syren then grabs the kendo stick and turns and nails Dakon in the face with it. He falls back and down to the mat. Cannon then takes his belt and whips Oskar in the back. Oskar falls to the corner. Cannon takes the belt and wraps it around his fist, holding the buckle out and nails Oskar with a series of hard right hands to the head and face. Oskar starts to slowly drop down in the corner.

Sharper: “Cannon using his belt as a weapon. Dakon and Oskar focused on planning, opening up an opportunity.”

Knight: “With someone like Cannon or Syren, you have just to stay on them.”

Dakon rolls over to the apron and then to the table before Syren steps through the ropes and jumps up and hits an elbow drop, driving Dakon through the table. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “And Syren driving the elbow into the heart of Dakon Theron and through the table on the floor!”

Cannon then pulls Oskar up and whips him across the ring. He bounces off and Cannon runs at him and nails him with a running punch with the belt buckle. Oskar hits the mat. He slowly gets up and Cannon throws the belt down before then hoisting Oskar up onto his shoulders. He sets up for the Lion’s Bite, but Oskar slides down and then jumps up and hits a poisonrana onto one of the chairs. The crowd ohs. Oskar looks around as he turns and hooks the leg.

2!

Cannon gets his shoulder up. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Oskar Theron just about shocked the world!”

Knight: “Oskar got up and made sure, dropping Cannon on his head!”

Oskar looks around as Syren pulls herself into the ring. She then runs over as Oskar gets up and hits a superkick. The crowd erupts. Oskar hits the mat. Syren staggers around as she then turns and grabs Chris and goes to help him up. Just as this happens, the crowd roars as we see Meghan Strader stepping out from the back. She has her fists taped up and rips off the tape. She then turns and looks behind er as Tamika Strader walks out from the back. The crowd roars. Meghan tosses the tape to Tamika. She starts to tape up her fists. Syren looks up and grabs Chris Cannon, dragging him up. Cannon turns to Syren. Syren looks at Meghan and Tamika. They both motion for them to come to the ring. Chris even sits on the ropes. While this is happening, Dakon is sliding a table out from under the ring.

Knight: “I know Meghan and Tamika are dangerous, but focus on the EFN. Take on one group at a time. You’ve pissed them off. Now they’re looking to make a statement, not for a fair fight.”

Sharper: “Syren and Chris Cannon inviting Tamika and Meghan Strader into the ring. I think this is as good of a yes as you’re going to get. These two sides want to get their hands on one another!”

Knight: “And look at Dakon!”

Dakin slides in and Oskar crawls over. They both start to unfold the table. Lexy yells at them as Syren and Chris Cannon then get ready to fight as the Straders run to the ring. Yvonne does the same. Meghan and Tamika run up and jump onto the apron. Syren and Chris Cannon meet them nailing each with a couple of shots. Meghan and Tamika step off and spin around before Meghan lunges for the ropes, but Syren is ready. Tamika however goes for Chris’s legs and Meghan turns and grabs him and pulls him up. Syren is then spun around by Dakon who hoists her up and Oskar jumps up as they hit the European United Drop on Syren through the table. Oskar turns and covers her as Tamika and Meghan just hammer away on Chris Cannon.

Sharper: “EFN drive Syren through the table! Cannon getting assaulted again!”

Knight: “This is what I was worried about. The Cowgirls will do what they need to do for what they have in mind!”

The bell sounds. The crowd boos as Oskar rolls off and smiles. Dakon gets up and grabs him and pulls him up. Cannon is knocked down to the mat. Ravyn Taylor then runs down from the back, followed by officials. Tamika and Meghan continue to hammer away before Meghan leans over.

Meghan: “Remember…we’re not stopping. You got involved! See you at Apocalypse!”

Ravyn comes in and grabs Tamika. Tamika turns and grabs at Ravyn as the crowd roars. Officials quickly separate them as Meghan backs up and looks up in the ring, seeing Syren down in the table. She smiles.

Sharper: “There’s your acceptance! And Ravyn Taylor out here to help.”

Knight: “That was a bit delayed if you asked me. They need to be all on the same page. They need to be ready for this. The Straders are going to war. This is not the time for ego!”

Ravyn turns and rolls into the ring. Yvonne Knight checks on Cannon as she starts to yell at Meghan and Tamika as they are backed up by officials. Now, MacKenzie Strader, Tearra Skye and Tiffany Lee are with them too. The crowd roars as Meghan and Yvonne start to yell at one another.

Sharper: “This is going to be chaotic at Apocalypse! Cannon & Syren against Meghan Strader and I assume Tamika! And in SCW’s home, the Roger’s Centre!”

The scene continues to play out before cutting to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

LAST WEEK – AFTER SHOW IS OFF AIR:

We open up to see a shot of fans filing out of the arena as a couple are seen sitting in the stands, just watching the SCW referees and ring crew start to take apart the ring.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown and normally we wouldn’t focus on this, but SCW has had some people wondering what has happened to FRED, wondering if Dexter Grant had expunged him from the SCW.”

Knight: “If only!”

Sharper: “But it turns out that he’s not gotten used to our new schedule as we’ve truncated SCW Breakdown from three hours to two hours and well…take a look…”

We then see as the top rope is pulled off, we see FRED running down from the ring, in his gear, and he runs over and slides into the ring. He then gets up. A few fans cheer as he looks around and spins around and then gets ready to fight. He then turns and grabs Steven Hollinsworth who is taking apart the ring. He tries to pull him into the ring.

Hollinsworth: “What the hell are you doing?”

FRED: “Damn! SCW isn’t drawing well. This is why you gotta promote me!”

Hollinsworth: “The show’s over!”

FRED: “Of course when you don’t got any crowd. Selena running around demanding a title shot. Give me the title!”

FRED turns and shoves Hollinsworth away as he turns and exits to the floor. He then goes over and grabs a microphone. He taps on it.

FRED: “Hey! CHBK! You can’t even draw a house! People asking where’s FRED?!”

A few fans yell out “FRED!” FRED points to them.

FRED: “Come on….and this on? Are we really that bad off? Can’t have sound.”

Hollinsworth walks over.

Hollinsworth: “The show ended about forty minutes ago. New season. New time slot. New-“

FRED: “Sounds like a conspiracy. A conspiracy to stop giving the fans what they deserve. More FRED!”

FRED then hands Hollinsworth the microphone.

FRED: “Here’s your broken mic? I’ll bring my own next time.”

FRED turns and walks off as Hollinsworth shakes his head and walks over to the timekeeper’s table, putting the microphone back down before turning back to his job. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling.  But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her street clothes. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play.  Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp.  The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring.

Sharper: “Last week on this program, Colleen MacDonald accepted a rematch challenge from Enigma. Enigma granting Colleen the rematch for the Underground Championship, while warning her.”

Knight: “And Colleen responded. Working with Chris Dumont, with Aisling Reed, they stepped up and Dumont got a shot in on Xander. Colleen messed with Enigma. And it’s a bit off a different game now!”

She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring.  Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring.  Once inside she does look around the arena.  She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, grabbing a microphone waiting for her at ringside. She takes it and turns back to the ring.

Colleen: “Enigma…is that clear enough for you?”

Colleen continues to look at the hard camera.

Colleen: “I am not afraid of you!”

Colleen looks at the camera, pacing a bit.

Colleen: “You came at me at Rise to Greatness. Yes, you beat me. Yes, you took the Underground Championship…but I don’t back down. I haven’t backed down from a thing and you’re not going to be the first. The spiral may demand, but I will not abide.”

Colleen pauses again as the crowd roars.

Colleen: “See, ask anyone. From Derek Adonis to Kimberly Williams, I have proven how tough I am in that ring. And Enigma, you will understand that again. You gave me your best. You beat me. I got back up. And I responded not just in words, but in deeds. Because while you have the spiral, it took me some time, but I understood that I also have friends. I also have allies. I have people I can trust to have my back. Just as I’m sure you have your family…I have mine. Took me a while to remember that…but I am coming back for you. Coming for your title to make it mine again. And while everyone is talking about you, for one night, I reminded them of me. And at Apocalypse, all of that hype will go away as they see you as human, while I am seen as champion again!”

The lights then go out. The crowd roars. A few moments pass before “Scum of the Earth” starts to play. The crowd roars as the lights come up on the stage. Colleen turns briefly before then turning, realizing something is off, and then we see the Monster Machine Enigma, seemingly coming out of the darkness, and grabbing Colleen from behind. He grabs her in a double choke and hoists her up and drops her with the Questions & Answers. The crowd ohs as Enigma rolls back. He looks at her and then dives onto Colleen, pressing down on her face, yelling at her.

Enigma: “I will destroy you!”

Sharper: “Enigma…he just lost it!”

Knight: “Where is this coming from? They’ve been civil, even if tense, the entire time, but Enigma just attacking Colleen MacDonald from behind!”

Enigma pushes off of Colleen and moves back before getting back to his feet. He looks down at Colleen as Colleen grimaces in pain. Enigma then steps around her and through the ropes. His music continues to play. Enigma then just looks forward, enraged, storming to the back.

Ryan LeCavalier is in the Fall of Man locker room. She’s surprisingly alone, clearly taking a moment to contemplate things. The door opens as LeCavalier looks up. She then slowly stands up. William Heaven, still wearing a neck brace, walks over.

Heaven: “Don’t stand up…aint that kind of group.”

LeCavalier: “Still…you’ve given me an opportunity.”

Heaven: “I have and I don’t know if it was the right one. Waylon’s even more distracted. Even more volatile. And I don’t know if it’s because of you or not. But…you do share one thing that James and Waylon do.”

LeCavalier: “Which is?”

Heaven: “You deserve a better hand than you’ve been dealt.”

Heaven pauses a moment.

Heaven: “Tonight, you’re facing Veil. It’s not a random match and I hope you realize that.”

LeCavalier: “I pay attention.”

Heaven: “Good. Then send him a message for getting involved in our business. I want everyone who embarrassed us at Rise to Greatness to get the hint.”

Heaven then turns and goes to walk off. LeCavalier then responds.

LeCavalier: “Does that include Braddock?”

Heaven smirks.

Heaven: “Get tonight done and it most definitely will.”

LeCavalier smirks as the scene fades out.

Glory Braddock is shown walking backstage. The camera follows her and she walks towards the office of SCW COO, Alex Desoubrais. The door opens and Autumn Valentine walks out, holding some papers. She looks at Glory, the two locking eyes briefly, before Autumn walks off. Glory scoffs to herself and walks over to the door, even before it closes, and knocks on it. She pushes it open as CHBK looks up.

Glory: “Have a moment?”

CHBK: “Come on in.”

Glory steps into the office and looks at CHBK before then smirking a bit.

Glory: “I don’t know how far this will be heard, but…especially after earlier…You don’t have too many people who have been at the level I have been. I bet on myself and here we are. So…Amelia. Cid. Whoever wins….I want them and that World Championship, next.”

CHBK: “Noted.”

Braddock looks at CHBK. The two lock eyes.

Glory: “I hope so. You know no one has a better claim. And if you think they do…put them in the ring with me.”

Glory turns and walks off. CHBK watches her leave as the scene cuts away.

Ryan LeCavalier vs. Veil

The arena falls into a deep, anticipatory hush as the lights abruptly dim, plunging the crowd into darkness. The air is thick with anticipation, and suddenly, the ominous beats of "Praise" by Zhu, Banks, and Bludnymph pulse through the speakers, filling the arena with an eerie energy. The voice of BANKS echoes through the space, setting a haunting tone:

"I built me up high, a building so high, you know. Up where the birds fly, it was a long time ago."

The tension is palpable as a single spotlight slices through the darkness, casting an intense beam onto the entrance ramp. The crowd holds its breath as the silhouette of her figure begins to emerge, shrouded in an aura of menace and mystery. Dressed in a breathtaking ensemble of black and gold, her outfit shimmers with an almost ethereal glow, reflecting her dominance and superiority.

As she steps into the light, the chorus surges, magnifying her grand entrance and asserting her control:

"I got the view from the stars, baby, stars, baby. You look up at me like a god, baby, god, baby."

With a deliberate, measured pace, she strides down the ramp, each step resounding with authority and command. Her hair cascades behind her, catching the light and adding a dramatic flair to her entrance. Her gaze is sharp and unyielding, scanning the crowd with a mix of disdain and amusement, daring them to challenge her.

Suddenly, pyrotechnics explode around her, their bursts of light and smoke accentuating her every movement. The strobe-like flashes create a stark contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing her formidable presence. The chorus of "Praise" swells dramatically, enveloping the arena in a pulsating rhythm:

"This is how I got name, this is how I got my fame. You and me are not the same, this is why you give me praise."

As she nears the ring, she pauses, her eyes locking onto the spectators at ringside. Ryan LeCavalier smirks, exuding an aura of disdain and arrogance, relishing in their fear and respect. With a contemptuous glance, she continues her march toward the ring, her every move a testament to her dominance and control.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, representing the Fall of Man, she is the Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!”

Ascending the ring steps with an almost ritualistic grace, she pauses at the top, surveying the arena with a look of disdainful triumph. With a flourish, she steps through the ropes, her entrance complete. Raising her arms in a gesture of defiance and power, she locks eyes with her opponent, the tension between them electric.

The music crescendos to a thunderous climax, and the crowd erupts into a cacophony of boos and jeers, their voices a testament to her impact and infamy. She stands ready in the center of the ring, her presence alone a declaration of her readiness for the fight ahead.

As the final notes of "Praise" fade into the night, the echoes of the chorus linger in the air, a haunting reminder of her dominance and control:

"Give me (Praise), Give me (Praise)."

And with that, the stage is set, the battle lines drawn, and the arena braces itself for the match that's about to take place.

Sharper: “Ryan LeCavalier making her first singles appearance since aligning officially with the Fall of Man.”

Knight: “It could be a short one though. This is a statement match. William Heaven wants LeCavalier to defeat Veil. They blame Veil as much as Knots for William Heaven getting beaten up by Chris Dumont”

Sharper: “Those were the terms of the match. CHBK happy to oblige there.”

Knight: “I wasn’t heartbroken either, mate.”

The lights dim slowly. One light at a time. Like the whole building is giving up. The crowd gets quiet.  A low, eerie sound starts over the speakers. “The Host of Seraphim” begins to play.

Soft voices rise up—not words, just sounds. Like ghosts singing from far away. Slow. Sad. Heavy. The big screen doesn’t show highlights or action. It shows a spiral, barely moving, turning backwards. Mist starts to crawl from the entrance. It stays low to the ground, almost like it’s afraid to rise. It’s not thick. It’s not fast. It’s slow, like smoke under water. Then, Veil steps through it.

No fireworks. No lasers. No flashing lights.
No big poses.
Just him. Barefoot. Slow. Arms at his sides.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from parts unknown, he is Veil!”

He doesn’t make eye contact with the crowd. He doesn’t play to the cameras. He just walks. Every step is heavy, like the ground almost sinks under him.

His face is pale. His eyes are wide open but dead still—like he’s looking straight through everything.

As he walks, the mist behind him spreads out across the stage and the ramp, almost like it’s following him, drawn to him.

The song gets a little louder. The voices rise higher—not screaming, just crying. Mourning something nobody can name. The spiral on the screen behind him turns slower and slower, almost stopping.

Veil reaches the ring. He doesn’t look around. He steps up onto the apron, slow and steady, and then steps between the ropes. He walks straight to the middle of the ring. There, he stops. He crouches down. He places one open hand flat on the mat. He lowers his head. He whispers something no one can hear. The spiral on the tron behind him flashes once—then fades out into black. The mist in the ring sinks low. The music fades. The lights stay dim, just enough to see him.

Veil stands there.

Waiting.
Still.
Silent.

Ryan LeCavalier looks across at Veil.

Sharper: “Veil…this haunting presence.”

Knight: “I still can’t pin him down. I don’t get him. I don’t get what his goals are. I still don’t understand why he allowed himself to be used Knots too!”

Sharper: “It’s a question we all have. I tried to get it out of Jon. He wouldn’t tell me.”

Knight: “And look at how that’s all gone for him.”

The bell sounds. Ryan then steps up and grabs the arm of Veil and wrenches it. Veil doesn’t seem to register any pain as Ryan pushes down on the arm. She looks at him and then wrenches it again. Veil just looks down before Ryan takes him over with a side headlock. Veil hits the mat and Ryan pulls on the head. Veil just rolls over as Ryan looks down at him, clearly bothered by something. She then lets go and gets up and looks at Veil. Veil rolls to his back and slowly sits up, starting to get up. Ryan then stomps him in the head. Veil falls to a knee. She stomps him again and then nails him with a hard right. Veil kneels on the mat, dropping down to sit on his heels. Ryan then looks around before running into the ropes. She bounces off and Veil then lifts her up as she runs at him. Ryan looks around, trying to get free, but he just steps forward, hoisting Ryan’s legs over the top rope and just throwing her out of the ring. Ryan lands feet first, but the momentum sends her back into the announce table.

Sharper: “And Veil muscling LeCavalier up and dumping her almost into our laps.”

Knight: “For a veteran like this, she was looking lost. Veil just was absorbed her offense.”

Sharper: “I don’t know where Veil is getting this from. He’s always been an odd individual. And just takes on so much punishment. And he’s just looking at Ryan!”

Ryan LeCavalier looks up at the ring as Veil glares at her. (1) She gets up and winces a bit, walking around the ring. (2) She then turns and slides in quickly. She gets up and runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another before hitting a kick to the ribs. She goes to whip him across, but Veil spins through and sends her in. She bounces off and he drops her with a clothesline. Ryan rolls over and turns and gets up and Veil walks over to her and headbutts her. Ryan falls back into the corner. Veil then pushes his hand into the face of Ryan, just piefacing her. She swats him away before Veil knees her in the ribs. He then whips her across the ring. Veil calmly walks across and Ryan kicks him in the ribs. She kicks him again and spins him into the corner. LeCavalier then follows up with a roundhouse kick. Veil collapses to the mat.

Sharper: “And a hard spin kick. Veil just drops.”

Knight: “The human body can only take what it can take and Veil found that out.”

LeCavalier then grabs Veil and drags him up, pulling up on his leg and hitting a dragon screw leg whip. Veil hits the mat. LeCavalier holds on and spins through, driving her knees into the leg. Veil grimaces a bit. LeCavalier notices this. She gets up and hits a spinning knee drop again to the knee. LeCavalier gets up as Veil slides to the ropes. He starts to pull himself up and LeCavalier runs over and stomps him in the back of the leg. She stomps him again and then pulls him back and hits a Russian leg sweep. She turns and climbs to the middle rope. She then hits the Lumiere d’Arc. She turns and hooks the legs.

Veil kicks out. Ryan rolls off. Veil slowly rolls over and grabs at the ropes. LeCavalier heads over and kicks him in the ribs. She then rears back and kicks him again. She then grabs him and pulls him up, but suddenly, Veil hits a lunging clothesline.

Knight: “And just took her head off!”

Sharper: “Veil took a couple of hard kicks there and then just snapped. He’s still down, so it did register.”

Veil then starts to slowly get up. Ryan LeCavalier gets up to her feet and turns around into Veil who hoists her up and drops her with a hard spinebuster slam. He then rolls off and gets up and turns to LeCavalier and hits a pointed elbow drop to the throat. He then goes for the lateral press.

LeCavalier kicks out. Veil slowly gets up as the official back up. LeCavalier rolls over and starts to pull herself up. Veil grabs her and hits a high angle back suplex. Veil then goes for another pin.

LeCavalier gets her shoulder up. She rolls over and starts to move away, but Veil grabs her wrist. He then starts to pull her up and then goes for a short-arm clothesline, but LeCavalier ducks and jumps to the middle rope and hits the Relativisme. Veil drops. LeCavalier looks at him and then turns and jumps to the middle rope and then the top rope and hits the Presque L’amour to his back. She rolls him over and covers him.

2!

Veil rolls his shoulder up. LeCavalier looks up and then down at Veil. Veil is just staring up at her. Ryan slides back, bothered at first, before shaking it off and getting up.

Sharper: “Another nearfall and…Veil just glaring at LeCavalier.”

Knight: “That’s just creepy. I’ve faced some evil forces in the past, but this is just creepier than it all.”

Veil slowly rolls over as Ryan then gets up. She then elbows him in the back of the head once and then again and again. Veil staggers before Ryan LeCavalier wrenches the arm. She looks at him and hits the Sacrament. Veil drops. LeCavalier goes for the pin.

Sharper: “LeCavalier! She hits the Sacrament. A new finisher. A new way for her to try and end it.”

Knight: “And will it work?”

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds. Ryan LeCavalier rolls off. Veil just remains down.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Ryan LeCavalier!”

LeCavalier gets up and looks down at Veil. Veil remains down, still unmoving. LeCavalier has her arm raised before she then looks around and steps up and then stomps Veil in the face. He barely flinches. She stomps him again and again and again. The bell sounds again as LeCavalier continues to stomp away on Veil. The official warns her and she backs away.

Sharper: “LeCavalier winning and I guess wanting to make sure Heaven sees what he wants, attacking Veil after.”

Knight: “Veil just lifeless in the ring.”

Sharper: “LeCavalier getting her victory. With the Sacrifice.”

Knight: “And the referee doesn’t even want to check on Veil. No one wants to deal with whatever he may be.”

Veil remains down as LeCavalier looks at him before turning and stepping through the ropes and down to the floor. She then starts to head to the back.

Backstage, we see Cid Turner walking up to Chris Lawler. Lawler turns.

Cid: “Uh…hi…”

Lawler: “Cid…uh, hi. It’s…we haven’t talked much, but hi.”

Cid: “Oh, well, uh…that’s a shame. We’ve been through a lot….uh…championship tournaments…existing through SCW’s Dark Ages…uh…yeah….”

Lawler nods. There’s then an awkward silence.

Lawler: “So…uh…Cid, anything I can do for you?”

Cid: “Oh, uh, yeah…just, thanks.”

Lawler: “Don’t worry about it. We may not have crossed paths too much lately. But we’ve shared a locker room. We’ve busted our ass. We’ve earned it. And hearing her whine…just done with it.”

Cid: “You and me both bro.”

Cid goes for a fistpump. Lawler leaves him hanging

Cid: “Better yet…kick her ass, okay?”

Lawler: “Oh I plan to. Trust me…I may not be as sharp as I was-“

Cid: “Who could be after you lost your military commission.”

Lawler looks at Cid and there’s again a brief pause.

Lawler: “I may not be as sharp as I was…but I do have pride. And I’m going to take it to her.”

Cid: “Good man.”

Cid pats him on the back. Lawler then looks at him.

Lawler: “But when I humble her…I have plan to come for that. We never did meet in that tournament back in 2006. I wouldn’t mind rewriting that history.”

Cid looks at Lawler. He nods.

Cid: “Good luck then.”

Lawler: “You too.”

Cid nods as Cid turns and heads off. Lawler watches him go, the slight smile on his face turning into more of a look of determination as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown cuts backstage as we see Jaina Lancaster backstage in the SCW interview area.

Jaina: “I’m Jaina Lancaster. Please welcome at this time, Simply Sensational…Simon Lyman!”

The crowd cheers as Simon Lyman comes into the view.

Jaina: “Simon, welcome. Been an interesting couple of weeks for you. Calling the action at ringside and then helping my mother, Amy, out. She’s currently dealing with some matters at BlackOut before she returns to the ring at Apocalypse to face the returning James Evans. Two weeks ago, you pull her out of the ring just to avoid an attack.”

Lyman: “I’m just trying to be a decent person there. I know what your mother was thinking. She wants to take on the world and she’s been doing that with the Fall of Man and reminding the world that no matter the hype or even the skill, we are all human. Waylon Creek is finding that out the hard way and given the attempts to take me out, to take her own, and to assault everyone else, frankly, it’s nice to see him get a bit of what he deserves and as Amy put it – she said she’d ruin him and take everything from him and he’s done-“

We then hear a yell as James Evans come into view and tackles Lyman back and hard into the interview set. It is knocked back a bit as James Evans turns and slams Lyman on the floor. He then gets up as Jaina looks at him. James then smirks before just nailing Jaina with a hard right. The crowd ohs as Jaina falls back.

Sharper: “No! No! I know Jaina Lancaster has trained and competed, but a sucker punch!”

Knight: “Get help back there!”

He then grabs one of the lights before turning and driving the end to Jaina as she starts to get up. James then turns as Simon gets up and nails hm with a hard right and then another and another. He then knocks him down with a fourth shot. Simon turns and runs over to Jaina, checking on her.

Simon: “You okay?”

Jaina turns, holding her ribs.

Jaina: “Yeah just-“

Evans then runs over and kicks Lyman in the face. He pops up and falls back to the set, dropping down to a seated position. He then grabs Jaina and throws her off camera. He then steps over to Lyman. Lyman pulls himself up, but Evans nails him with a hard right.

Sharper: “Evans assaulting Jaina Lancaster. Now Simon Lyman!”

Knight: “We need to get some people here.”

Sharper: “James Evans is assaulting Amy Chastaine’s family and friends!”

Evans then nails him again and again and again. Lyman slowly slinks down, while Evans stays in front of him, almost blocking him from cameraview. He then continues to hammer away with hard overhead right hands. Lyman drops to the side and Evans leans down and hammers away with a series of harder strikes.

Sharper: “Just hammering away on Simon Lyman!”

Knight: “This is…Lyman is just getting destroyed here.”

Officials and agents finally reach the scene and they start to pull Evans. Evans backs up as we see his right fist covered in blood. We turn back to Lyman, whose face is covered in blood, covering his face, and pooling next to him. Evans pulls away from the officials as the camera turns and shows Jaina getting up, holding her jaw and ribs. She then steps up as Evans turns to the camera.

Evans: “Hey Amy…when you see this…I hope you’re ready to try and take everything from me! Because that’s what I plan to do to you!”

Evans gives an audible sinister laugh. Lyman starts to slowly stir.

Sharper: “Just sick…”

Evans is forced out of the scene as officials point for him to leave. Evans backs up and turns and starts to head off. Jaina heads over to check on Simon Lyman.

Jaina: “Simon! I’m okay…I’m here.”

Officials keep checking on Simon as he winces, rubbing blood out of his eyes. Jaina backs up, but just then, we hear yelling as Jaina turns only to get drilled by Embrace the Onslaught. She goes down as the crowd ohs.

Knight: “Hey! Come on, guys!”

Sharper: “From behind! Attacking Jaina! Amy Chastaine’s daughter! The hell is wrong with you!”

James Evans is then backed up again as he smirks. Officials check on Jaina as the crowd boos and the scene cuts away.

The scene cuts to the locker room of the Fall of Man where Waylon Creek is watching the monitor. Legion is next to him.

Creek: “He better destroy her at Apocalypse.”

William Heaven walks over to him.

Heaven: “He will. He’s going to come through. Not just for himself but he sees what we always had in mind for you.”

Creek: “Didn’t always seem that way.”

Heaven: “And things feel apart when he was out.”

Creek slowly turns to Heaven.

Creek: “Because we lost our way with Giovanni.”

Heaven: “Regardless, we now need to make sure we take the right step. No more unnecessary aggressiveness. It’s why you’ve lost three in a row. Why you lost the tag titles-“

Creek: “And people are demanding things after defeating me! Shinigami Foundation – no respect. Braddock demanding title shots. I want her. Get that match-“

Heaven: “In due time-“

LeCavalier then pipes in, walking over.

LeCavalier: “Trust me, you’re not the only one that wants Braddock.”

Creek turns to LeCavalier.

LeCavalier: “Pride cometh before the fall…”

LeCavalier looks at Creek.

Heaven: “Smarter words haven’t been spoken in this room tonight. We’ll get our shot. But we’re not rushing into it.”

Heaven goes to turn and then Creek responds.

Creek: “CHBK refused to grant the match.”

Heaven stops. He then pauses a moment, only to keep going.

Creek: “There’s money-“

LeCavalier: “There’s control…”

Creek grits his teeth and takes a deep breath.

LeCavalier: “WE will get it back.”

Creek looks at LeCavalier. She lets out a slight smirk. We then notice Heaven watching from the background, a smile forming on his face as the scene fades to commercial.

Xander Valentine vs. Gavin Taylor

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Security of Jack and Karl Barker. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by his All Star Security, from Freedom, Pennsylvania, he is America’s Favorite (no u) Wrestler…Gavin Taylor!”

The song continues...

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “I don’t know if Buffalo agrees with Gavin being America’s favorite wrestler. This new…attitude…”

Knight: “Bit of a hard sell here. Xander’s home state. You may be fighting as the underdog here, Gavin, in a few ways!”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York… weighing in at 300 pounds, standing at six foot ten inches, he is the SCW Hall of Famer, a former SCW World Champion, the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Suffocate me until I am blue

To preserve my bad worldview

Paranoid, All Eyes On Me

Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell.

Sharper: “And the Executioner arrives. For whom the bell tolls!”

Knights: “Buffalo on their feet for him. Xander Valentine may want to knock some sense into Gavin Taylor before he marches to Apocalypse to face Chris Dumont!”

The bell sounds. Gavin Taylor stretches out on the ropes and then turns and looks at Xander. He points at him and then shakes his finger. Xander looks at Gavin, shaking his head. Gavin then steps up and motions that he’s going to break him in two. Xander looks at him incredulously before then stepping up and going for a collar and elbow tie-up. Gavin pushes back as Xander humours him for a moment before then launching him across the ring. Gavin rolls back and looks up as the crowd roars. Gavin scrambles to his feet and looks around before running at Xander. He grapples with him again and locks up and Xander throws him back again. Gavin gets to his feet and steps up and nails Xander with a hard right. Xander just looks at him. Gavin then turns, but Xander grabs him and pulls him back in and knees him in the ribs.

Sharper: “And here we go. Gavin Taylor thought he could have a heroic start.”

Knight: “Not probably in the cards. Now it’s survival!”

Xander knees Gavin again. Gavin staggers and he turns and Xander elbows him in the back of the head. Gavin hits the mat and rolls over. He gets up at the ropes and Xander steps up and boots him in the face. Gavin goes up and over the top rope to the floor. (1) Gavin stirs as Xander steps through the ropes and drops down to the floor. (1) He walks over to Gavin and knees him in the ribs. (2) He then turns and hits a hip toss on the mats. Gavin grimaces in pain and rolls over. (3) He starts to beg off, sliding to the barricade. Xander continues to stalk him and walks over to him and grabs him, but Gavin grabs him by the head and drives him into the barricade. (4) Gavin then turns and rolls into the ring.

Sharper: “And Gavin sending Xander into the barricade. That gets him some space.”

Knight: “But it’s a bit of an annoyance to Xander. He’s still on Gavin.”

Xander slides into the ring and Gavin runs over and stomps him over and over and over again. The crowd boos as the official calls for the break.

Sharper: “And Taylor now hammering away on his own ally. Just hard right hands. Keeping Xander grounded.”

Knight: “It’s smart strategy here. You’ve got him down. You don’t want to give Xander any chance to get back up.”

Xander rolls over as Gavin gets up and stomps him in the face. Xander gets to the ropes and then Gavin pulls him back and then by the head before hitting a reverse DDT. He hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Xander powering out and hoisting Gavin Taylor up! Brainbuster!”

Knight: “Dropping him right down on his head. I don’t know if that’ll knock him out of this new campaign of his!”

Gavin rolls over, holding his head and neck as Xander turns and looks at him. He then shakes his head and pulls him up before then turning and running him chest first into the corner. He then backs up as Gavin staggers back and hoists him up and hits the Valhalla has Fallen. The crowd ohs. Xander turns and hooks the leg.

The bell sounds. Xander rolls off and looks down. Karl and Jack look on stunned as Gavin remains down. Xander Valentine then gets up and has his arm raised.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Xander Valentine!”

Sharper: “And Valentine with an emphatic win after last week, Dumont’s involvement…”

Knight: “Dumont made his statement last week. He’s in action this week. Maybe doesn’t want Xander involved.”

Sharper: “They’ll meet at Apocalypse. Pride on the line there. Both taking credit for the challenges the Fall of Man is in.”

Knight: “Gavin Taylor having some challenges of his own. His message not exactly winning over the Executioner.”

Xander looks down at Gavin and then he turns and exits the ring. He drops down to the floor and starts to walk to the back. Karl and Jack Barker enter the ring and check on Gavin as Gavin slowly sits up, half out of it. He looks around, blinking. He then holds his arm, presuming victory before falling over to the side. Xander looks back, shaking his head before then heading through the curtain. Gavin then slowly moves to his knees, holding his head.

Suddenly the lights in the arena fade down to a low red as a woman slowly steps out from the back with a mic held closely to her face as she slowly starts to sing a strange little ballad while she is followed close behind by the members of the Shinigami Foundation themselves-Dante Slayton, Wil Pierce, and Alex Belmont-each one dressed in their usual wrestling gear with black hooded scarves covering their heads and shoulders along with Wil carrying something over one of his broad shoulders.

Knight: “Is that…a bodybag?!”

Sharper: “Yes…I do believe that is a bodybag on the right shoulder of the “Blackheart” Wil Pierce and what's worse is that it appears to be occupied!!”

Knight: “This certainly won’t Make America Gavin Again!”

<Rachel Lockhart>

With your feet on the air and your head on the ground

Try this trick and spin it, (Yeah) yeah

Your head will collapse, if there's nothing in it

And you'll ask yourself

While the woman walks around the ring singing, the Foundation help get the bodybag and its contents into the ring where it is placed dead center of it before each of the three members remove their hooded scarves and drape them over the middle of the bodybag before Dante takes a quick pull from a clear glass bottle that he has carried to the ring before he hands it off to Wil before Dante makes a couple of gestures and spits the liquid over the bodybag almost ritualistically.

Sharper: “What in the world is going on here?”

Knight: “While I honestly don't know, but what I do know is that the Rogue Horsemen have an odd…history with the arcane at times from what I've read about that particular group and if the Shinigami Foundation is connected to them as we've been seeing in some of the promos lately…”

Gavin, still out of it, and his A.S.S. is watching the events going on in the ring in front of him as the bodybag then sits up in the middle of the ring and Dante moves to the front of the bodybag and prevents the fans and us, the viewers, from seeing who inside the bodybag as Dante undoes the zip before suddenly the figure inside of the bodybag stands up.

Sharper: “It’s David Striker…and he’s with the Shinigami Foundation?!”

Gavin Taylor's widen in complete shock as he looks up into the cold ice blue eyes of the “Dark Horse” who simply gives Gavin a rather twisted smile. Gavin turns to Karl and Jack who go to protect, but Gavin waves them off, while Pierce along with both Dante and Alex all three then send themselves over the top rope and onto Gavin and company with David landing right on top of the “All American” before he quickly locks in a cravate and starts to rain down elbow strikes right into Gavin's head. Jack and Karl look at each other and each pass the contract to one another. Dante sees this and heads for them, as they turn and run around the ring. Jack stops to see Gavin taking shot after shot as SCW officials run down from the back. They crowd roars as David Striker is pulled off of Gavin. The rest of the Shinigami Foundation back up as David looks at Gavin who rolls over, holding his face. Officials stand between the two sides as Karl and Jack now head back to the ring, under the protection of SCW officials. Cameras focus on Striker who has a wolfish grin on his face as he keeps his attention fully locked on Gavin with his forehead awash in blood as we cut to commercial.

The Vision vs. Chase Upshaw & Religious Wright

As we return to the ring, we see Chase Upshaw and Religious Wright already there, and perhaps it’s no surprise they seem to be in the middle of another heated debate with one another. Suddenly, the arena lights drop into an ominous crimson haze as the haunting intro of “Nothing Feels Right” by Ozzy Osbourne crawls through the sound system, thick with unease and anticipation. The crowd instantly responds with a wave of boos, and just as the first distorted riff growls to life, a spotlight ignites at the top of the ramp, illuminating The Vision: Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan. Standing side by side, they strike an intimidating contrast. Melinda is a vision of smug superiority, her expression cool and contemptuous as she slowly steps forward, chin high and lips curled in a slight, self-satisfied smile. Draped in a gleaming black-and-gold jacket with high-fashion detailing, she moves like she’s walking a runway, not a wrestling ramp; each step deliberate, arrogant, like the crowd should be grateful to witness her existence. Beside her, Fiona Logan bursts into movement like a firecracker, all swagger and attitude. She twirls once with flair, throws her arms wide, and mouths off at the nearest fans with wild eyes and a devilish grin. Her ring gear shimmers under the strobe lights as she throws fake kisses to the crowd one second and flips them off the next. She leans over the barricade at one point, taunting a fan’s sign, pointing and laughing, then skips back toward her partner with a cocky shoulder bump. Trailing just a few steps behind them is Clyde Sutter, a looming figure in black with long, dark hair cascading over his shoulders. His expression is emotionless, unreadable, a stark contrast to the explosive energy in front of him. His eyes scan the ring like a hawk, and while he never says a word, his presence alone demands silence. He’s the dark anchor to the chaos and vanity that is The Vision.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall and has a ten minute time limit. Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Clyde Sutter, the team of Melinda Braddock and ‘The Boston Badass’ Fiona Logan… The Vision! Their opponents, already in the ring… the team of Chase Upshaw and Religious Wright!”

As the trio reaches the ring, Melinda glides up the steel steps slowly, wiping her boots with theatrical disdain before stepping through the ropes like she’s entering a palace. She pauses in the center of the ring, holding her arms out as if waiting for imaginary flowers to be thrown at her feet. Fiona leaps onto the apron, then climbs through the ropes with an over-the-top spin, landing on one knee and pointing to herself with a defiant smirk as the music’s chorus hits. She yells at the crowd, mocking them ruthlessly, and then she pounds her chest before popping back up to her feet. Clyde takes his place outside, arms folded, unmoved. As the music fades and the lights return to normal, Melinda raises one perfectly manicured hand while Fiona perches on the second rope, taunting the audience one last time.

Sharper: “The official in-ring debut of The Vision. Melinda Braddock, we saw her in action back during the Rise to Greatness pre-show teaming with Clyde Sutter, but this will be our first look at Fiona Logan as well as both of these ladies as a team.”

Knight: “Melinda is the daughter of Glory Braddock, while Fiona was trained by her. Already a strong pedigree to come into this business with given all that Glory’s accomplished, and the presence of Clyde certainly helps a lot as well.”

As The Vision wait in their corner, Wright tries to step up to start for his team, but Upshaw pushes him back into their corner.

Upshaw: “You think I’m letting you start after last time!? Did your brain take a sabbatical to Argentina?”

Wright: “I’m starting because it’s what our Lord and Savior-”

Upshaw: “Asher’s not even around anymore, you idiot!”

That causes Wright to shove Upshaw, who shoves him right back. Melinda and Fiona just look at one another before looking to Clyde standing out on the floor, who just shakes his head at the sight.

Sharper: “We saw this when they lost to the Glimmer Sisters before Rise to Greatness. Wright and Upshaw far from being on the same page.”

Knight: “Honestly makes me wonder if Alex is just having a laugh pairing them up as a team again.”

Melinda steps away from the corner as Fiona hops down while their opponents continue to shove one another. One particular shove from Wright is enough to send Upshaw to the mat, and while he rolls through, The Vision proceed to run off opposite ropes before connecting with the Vision’s Run! Wright looks almost shocked at this turn of events as Fiona rises and charges at him, hammering away on him with right hands as she backs him into the corner. Melinda, meanwhile, just uses her foot to kick Upshaw towards the ropes and then out of the ring before she steps out onto the apron, allowing for referee Jennifer Cassidy to signal for the bell and officially start this match.

Sharper: “We’re finally underway here, but Wright’s already down his partner and by his own hand!”

Knight: “The Vision was lying in wait and saw their opportunity to strike. It was almost like the fate they and Sutter keep preaching about!”

Fiona keeps hammering away on Wright until he manages to shove her back, with Fiona hitting the mat and rolling through. He rushes her and tries to capitalize with a jumping knee strike, but Fiona sidesteps him! As Wright lands, she grabs him in a waistlock. He immediately runs to the ropes and grabs them to block a potential german suplex, but Melinda reaches over and tags herself in before kicking Wright’s hands to force him to let go! Fiona pulls him back as he flails about, trying to block, but Melinda steps into the ring and catches him with a superkick right into the first Oktoberfest german suplex from Fiona! She hauls Wright to his feet so The Vision can hit a second superkick/german suplex combination! Wright is hauled up once more for a third one to complete the Stairway to Heaven!

Sharper: “Melinda and Fiona definitely on the same page and firing on all cylinders to punish Religious Wright!”

Knight: “Here comes Upshaw, though!”

Chase Upshaw slides back into the ring, shoving past Jennifer Cassidy who’s trying to maintain control of this match. Melinda is pulling Wright to his feet, but Fiona pulls her out of the way as Upshaw charges in, causing him to catch Wright with a Russian Knee Strike! Upshaw just looks shocked by this before going to yell down at Wright, but Fiona chop blocks him from behind, bringing him down to one knee and giving Melinda the opening to catch him with the Trending, driving his face right into Wright’s!

Sharper: “Trending from Melinda and The Vision have complete control of this match!”

Knight: “Wright and Upshaw have yet to get on the same page, and it might be about to cost them dearly.”

As both men writhe around on the mat, clutching at their faces, Fiona hauls Wright to his feet as Melinda steps out onto the apron. Fiona proceeds to plant Wright on top of Upshaw with a spinebuster before Melinda follows this up with a springboard splash onto both men, completing the Fateful Vision! Melinda remains on top of both men for the cover while Fiona poses in front of the pile for the hard cam while Clyde applauds from outside.

1!

2!

3!

Referee Jennifer Cassidy calls for the bell as “Nothing Feels Right” by Ozzy Osbourne hits the speakers again. Fiona helps Melinda off the pile of bodies as Clyde slowly walks up the steel stairs and steps through the ropes. Jennifer Cassidy goes to raise Melinda and Fiona’s arms, but Clyde intimidates her into backing off before he raises their arms himself.

Phillips: “Here are your winners… The Vision!”

Sharper: “An impressive statement by The Vision as Melinda Braddock gets another win under her belt and Fiona Logan introduces us to what she’s capable of.”

Knight: “Looks like another fine addition to the tag team division, and whoever walks out of Apocalypse as champions might want to keep their eyes on The Vision going forward.”

Both Wright and Upshaw writhe around on the mat as Melinda and Fiona look down at them, grinning about their victory as Clyde nods to them, the trio taking their leave now that their job is done for the night, Melinda and Fiona happily talking about how easy that was while Clyde just nods along.

The cameras then suddenly cut backstage and we find ourselves with the Shingami Foundation and David Striker, along with Eric Gibson and Irvine with all three of the Phantom Troupe members wearing some new gear or in David's case-his original wrestling gear

Jessica: “Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm here with the odd combination of the Phantom Troupe and the Shinigami Foundation, but most importantly I'm here with a returned David Striker….and the first thing that I have got to know is why all of that craziness in the middle of the ring, David?”

David runs a hand through his hair with that wolfish grin on his face as he turns to regard Jessica.

David: “The answer is simple, Jessica. When I first came here to SCW, I wanted only to do two things and that was to number one, build my own career and identity out of the bloody shadow of my older brother and two, to have some fucking fun while doing it. Well somewhere in the aftermath of my match with Kimberly for the the Underground championship…I stopped having fun for quite a while there and a lot of people from Sharper and Knots to even the main owner of this company could tell that, but I wasn't ready to admit it to myself.

But then when I started to do more research into SCW and that damned scaffold match followed up by a long discussion with my family, that's when I realized that I had indeed stopped having fun and that by fucking george I was going to start trying to do that again…but with Colleen's help, I also realized that I was also lacking a few other things, so I went to a particular *BASTARD* of a Devil and asked for his help.”

Jessica: “You mean Reno Dumont?”

David: “Exactly, and I asked him if he would take me and some of the boys in the Troupe as clients because I knew that some of the troupe wasn't liking this whole darker direction that it was heading, so not only did I get myself a nice and shiny new contract, but so did some of my closest friends.

But then came Gavin's little actions at Rise to Greatness and his little mockeries of me as of late. Well Gavin, I hate to be the one to tell you this straight up, but you aren't the one with that US title shot.

*I* am.

And furthermore if you try to trick your way or bullshit your way or what have you, it just won't work because I was able to keep the contract locked down after your little stunt at the pay per view landed me in the hospital… so when I go after the US title, you're going to be right where you belong…at the very back of the line.”

Jessica: “Some pretty powerful words, David. But fans who follow some of the materials posted to supremecw.com, what about the words by Polly who's been claiming that you've lied to her, how do you feel about that?”

David's expression slowly changes to one of actual sorrow as he shakes his head slowly.

David: “Polly is allowed to think whatever she wants to, but I didn't lie to her nor did I do anything to deceive her. I honestly didn't expect to be the one to win that match, but being a member of the Striker family means that sometimes I have to paint a masterpiece made of my own mistakes and while Polly is dealing with her own devils, not a single one of them was in an attempt to hurt or deceive her.

Nor would I ever do the same to Colleen.

But to be clear, I did tell Polly in the lead up to RTG that I wasn't going to hold back and she agreed to the same, but if she wants to have words to the other, then I'm more than open to discussing them with her.

But as far as Gavin Taylor goes…My man, you threw me off of a really tall place to crash through a good amount of tables, with blood coming out of my nose and ear, with you smirking and mocking me the entire time, calling me “Laying Dave”.”

The wolfish grin then returns to David's face.

David: “Well then, allow me to repay you in kind very soon…”Greedy Gavin”?”

The room then breaks out into raucous laughter with Striker's grin getting bigger and more hungry.

David: “Very soon, Gavin. I'm going to be coming to finish what I started here tonight…and I can promise you that in the end, you'll be beginning to have never heard of the name David Striker.

So start keeping a close eye out, lest I pluck them out when you're not paying attention.”

The group then goes back to celebrating as the camera cuts back to ring side.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see La Pequena Luz standing with Amelia Nevado.

Luz: “You can feel the tension.”

Amelia: “Have you talked to Deanna…just…everything with Selena.”

Luz: “She’s trying to focus on Shot of Adrenaline. I haven’t even had it in me to ask about Veil and the Heart of Vail.”

Amelia: “At least she’s calm. She ripped herself out of her recovery. But she’s doing well.”

Luz: “Can’t help but be concerned. Especially given that Selena has just been…she doesn’t even resemble who we called a friend anymore.”

Amelia sighs.

Luz: “We’ve got good distraction in the ring though. Could both be holding gold? You just have to beat Cid. I know you can.”

Amelia: “And you just need to get past Striker.”

Luz: “I just hope he focuses on me. Not Gavin. I’ve not been giving that any air. Don’t have it in here.”

???: “He’s now with the Shinigami Foundation. I don’t know if any of them are focusing on the right thing.”

??? (different voice, although almost identical): “Then again, that’s their loss then.”

We then see Gia and Gina Glimmer come into the scene. Luz and Amelia look at them as the crowd roars.

Gia: “Has that camera turned off?”

Gina: “I mean we are clothed. Then again, we didn’t mean to interrupt the US Champion and the potential World Champion. Then again, would they cut away?”

Luz: “Excuse me-“

Gia: “Again, sorry. Then again, it’s probably best you’re no longer competing for the Tag Titles.”

Amelia: “We’ve not stopped considering the tag division our home.”

Gina: “Interesting…then again, with the Shinigami Foundation apparently representing all things legitimate wrestling. Do they respect lucha libre?”

Gia: “British Style?”

Luz: “They’re entitled to their opinions-“

Gina: “Just as we are. Although, ours will be fact. They can focus on their new members. None of it will matter. In those ropes, we’ve had everyone exactly where we’ve wanted them. When men do or don’t pay attention to us, we always get the last laugh.”

Gia: “And I wonder how SCW would handle the World Tag Team Championships belts around our waists.”

Gina: “Imagine what we’d get into.”

???: “KABLAM!”

Gina smirks as Gia then waves at Amelia and Luz as Amelia looks around, clearly having heard Derek Adonis. Luz just shakes her head as the Glimmer Sisters walk off.

Luz: “Tension in the air. It’s because after Rise to Greatness…people are as confident as ever, or at the lowest of low.”

Amelia: “All the more reason we need to be prepared.”

The scene cuts away.

The lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few moments of silence, “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd roars as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp. The SCW World Championship sits comfortably on his shoulder.

“My little blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy

One day you'll grow up and be distressed

One day you'll grow up and reject everything

I've set out for you”

Cid continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring. Cid reaches the ring and climbs up the steps, slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena. He pounds his chest and peers out into the sea of people.

“My only dear long wasteful son

One day you'll wonder what you've become”

The music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring, making his way to the corner. There, a microphone waits for him. He grabs it and takes it and walks back to the middle of the ring.

Sharper: “Cid Turner has been busy tonight. Thanking Chris Lawler. Making his rounds.”

Knight: “Trying to be a leader it looks like. Taking his time as champion seriously. Then again, he also got to be thinking about Amelia Nevado and Apocalypse. Huge title defense for him.”

He looks around as a “Cid!” chant breaks out. Cid smiles a bit. He enjoys the reaction before then starting to speak.

Cid: “You’d almost think I was dying!”

Cid looks around.

Cid: “I’m not. Yet…I don’t know.  I mean we all could go at some point. But I’m not planning to do that. Selena thinks I may just fall apart in the ring…and it is a possibility…but damn it, I’m going to Apocalypse to defend my World Title against a worthy challenger…Amelia Nevado.”

The crowd cheers a bit.

Cid: “Now despite what others say about me as champion, I think my track record speak for itself. Amelia knows it….You know it!”

The crowd roars. Cid smirks.

Cid: “And no matter what…and I need to make sure this is clear…no jokes. I’m going to try not to screw it up by not knowing when to shut up…but…I am going to give you the best match I have left in me. I may be older…I got a nice shave, so I look younger….but I also know not much time is left. I’ve had the Cinderella run. Yeah, we’ll call it that. But then again, I’m a hall of famer and I knew I had one more run in me. And when this title reign ends, I don’t know what’s next. Maybe I’ll go home. Maybe I’ll finally accept I need to be the family man my family wants me to be. Maybe I’ll just disappear…Selena Frost would love that.”

The crowd boos as Cid looks around, smiling a bit, appreciating the sentiment.

Cid: “But I don’t want this to end…and as long as I’m holding this World Title, I know it can’t end. And Amelia, you’ve been wonderful. You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. You’ve earned everything you’ve gotten in this sport. You did it right.”

Cid walks around the ring.

Cid: “And I know you’re going to come at me and you’re going to try to beat me in a fair fight. What we all hope for. And I’m going to try and return in kind…I’ll try not to get back to my past habits. Sometimes the Masta of Speed or King of the World Cid comes out. I mean I tend to do what I need to to win. Please don’t read into it any more than that! But Amelia…I’ll give you that challenge. But I can’t let you walk out as World Champion. I just can’t. I can’t handle this run being over and I am going to do whatever I can to hold on. Just making that and clear and-“

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. She then storms to the ring. The boos only grow.

Sharper: “And Selena Frost interjecting herself here.”

Knight: “She can’t just leave this alone. She lost at Rise to Greatness. She’s not the World Title! And Cid’s not moving aside!”

Cid Turner brings the microphone down, looking at Selena, annoyed. Selena Frost walks down to the ring and then walks around it. Cid watches her, but Selena ignores him, as she storms over to Jason Phillips, demanding a microphone. Phillips reluctantly obliges. She rips it out of his hand. She then turns and walks over to the steel steps. She walks up them.

Selena: “This is getting pathetic now!”

Cid: “Selena-“

Selena: “You’re out here practically saying you’re going to just collapse. That you’re going to screw her over because you need the title!”

The crowd boos.

Selena: “You don’t deserve to hold that title. And she damn sure deserves better. She should have someone who competes with her clean. Straight up. Nothing else-“

Cid: “Like you? When you pushed me off the ladder, trying to injure me? That’s all about being moral and what not, Selena. You’ve been full of it for a while. I’m just being honest.”

Selena: “You should never have been in that match! Taking Hold of the Flame or not…ladder match or not…waiver or not…you should never have been there. SCW should have told your broken body to leave and never return. And now you’re going to come out here, talk about how you need this when you know you’re barely holding together. And you’re going to get hurt…and it’s going to affect Amelia. And it’s going to scar her. And it’s going to overshadow whatever she does.”

Selena steps over to Cid.

Selena: “Do the right thing. You say you have a family. Then be a good role model. Give me a match tonight, lie down, and ride into the sunset for good. SCW then gets a World Title match that these people want to see. And I don’t have to humiliate Chris Lawler.”

Cid: “No!”

The crowd roars.

Cid: “I’m not stepping aside.”

Amelia: “And if he’s going to compete, I’m going to face the man in front of me, Selena.”

Selena turns as Amelia Nevado walks out from the back, microphone in her hand. She starts to head to the ring.

Amelia: “I thought I nipped this in the bud last week.”

Cid: “Amelia…it’s okay-“

Amelia: “No, it’s not. Because you’ve EARNED what you have too, Cid. And Selena can’t understand that. She just wants to be champion so she can lord over people.  And please, Selena…after everything in the last couple of years, please don’t refer to family. I’ll leave it there.”

Selena turns away, clearly picking up the implication. She mutters something under her breath as Amelia hops onto the apron.

Selena: “It doesn’t matter. You’re both focusing on me instead of each other. Is this what you want? The World Title should be the focus. And if it is back with me, we end this farce.”

Cid: “We’re only focusing on you because you won’t screw off!”

Amelia steps up.

Amelia: “Selena…if you’ve been truthful and said you just want two people to compete for the richest prize, you have it already here. Cid and I are going to do that. You…you’re not the champion. I used to look up to you, but that’s fleeting by the week, Selena. As a friend…stop, back up, reconsider.”

Selena: “For my family, huh?”

Selena gets up in Amelia’s face.

Selena: “Fortunately, I teach them to fight for what they believe in.”

Selena turns and nails Cid with the microphone. The shot stuns him as he dops to the mat. He looks around as Amelia spins Selena around. Selena then looks at Amelia, microphone no longer in her hand

Selena: “What? Now you’re going to fight me. That’s what I want. At Apocalypse!”

Amelia: “This is even a lot just for you. What the hell has happened to you?”

Selena just turns briefly, shaking her head. She then looks up before suddenly ducking, having seen Cid Turner getting back up in the big screen on the set, and Cid misses Selena, blasting Amelia Nevado with a hard right hand. Amelia goes down as Selena rolls out of the ring.

Selena: “Gotta take the cheap shot. You’re pathetic!”

Cid looks at Selena and then turns to Amelia, checking on her.

Sharper: “Selena attacking Cid and then dodging Cid as he fired back. Amelia Nevado caught in the crossfire!”

Knight: “This has been a respectful affair, but the mental issue under all of this…”

Sharper: “And Cid Turner checking on Nevado. He got a good shot. And look at Selena!”

Selena turns and heads around the ring to the rampway. Cid looks at her as Amelia turns and looks at Selena too. Selena heads to the back as the crowd boos.

COMMERCIALS

Amelia Nevado is backstage, seated on a storage crate. La Pequena Luz is now with her. We then see Cid Turner walking over with an ice pack and what appears to be a cartoon character bandaid.

Cid: “Okay, now this may sting-“

Amelia stops him.

Amelia: “Uh…Cid, I appreciate it. I’ll take the icepack, but you don’t need the…is that Scooby Doo?”

Cid: “You’re a Winnie the Pook girl, aren’t you?”

Luz: “She’s not cut. She’s okay, Cid.”

Amelia: “And sometimes shiners are part of the business.”

Cid: “Well, yeah, but probably not if it swells your eye shut. That was meant for Selena. She totally deserved it.”

Amelia doesn’t respond at first, just looking to Luz, a forlorn smile on her face.

Amelia: “Look, Cid. I know it was an accident. And I appreciate you being honest about how much that title means to you. It means a lot to me too…there’s personal and professional reasons why I feel I want it now.”

Cid: “Yeah, well…uh…one of us is going to be pretty sad about it after.”

Amelia: “Just bring your best.”

Cid: “Don’t worry. That’s all I can afford to do at this point.”

Cid looks at the bandaid and extends it to Amelia. She takes it.

Cid: “See you at Apocalypse.”

Cid turns and heads off. Amelia watches him leave before turning and showing the bandaid to Luz who just chuckles a bit to herself.

Chris Dumont vs. Kimberly Williams

Shot of Adrenaline Tournament

SCW Adrenaline Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is a Shot of Adrenaline Tournament match, scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship!”

“Wild Thing” by X plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before “Ronin” Chris Dumont walks out from the back. He stands on the stage and looks around the arena before he stops and throws his arms up in the air, which leads to pyro erupting on the sides of the stage. Dumont nods to himself before he starts to head down to the ring.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin… Chris Dumont!”

Dumont walks down the rampway, looking down, clearly focusing on the match ahead. The camera follows him down as he does. He then starts to reach the ringside area and heads over to the ring before getting a burst of speed and sliding in. He then gets up and walks around the ring before turning and running into the ropes, back and forth before he stops and continues doing some light warm-up in the corner.

Sharper: “The Shot of Adrenaline Tournament continues tonight with the first match to see the title this tournament is based around on the line, and Chris Dumont would love to have his first taste of SCW championship gold.”

Knight: “This bloke also better be careful. As much as a strong start in this tournament would be huge for him, he’s also got Xander Valentine waiting in the wings at Apocalypse, and many would believe that was not a smart fight for him to have picked.”

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play. A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now. Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans, the SCW Adrenaline Championship belt around her waist and WASLEY in her arms, the stuffed penguin donning a pair of shades. A sinister smirk is on Kim’s face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, The Woman Scorned… Kimberly Williams!”

She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it. She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope before rolling over to her corner, where she makes sure to prop WASLEY up under the bottom turnbuckle in a pose she considers “Instagram worthy.” Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans. The music slowly dies down and Kimberly removes the title from around her waist and hands it to referee Steve Hollinsworth, who holds the title high as she goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Sharper: “Kim, meanwhile, with the daunting challenge of being the Adrenaline Champion entering this tournament. Every match she wrestles for it will have that title on the line.”

Knight: “And one person who’s had a big problem with that is Dexter Grant, the man who’s going to meet Kim in this tournament at Apocalypse. She has to win this match here tonight for their rematch to have the title on the line, so Dumont could throw a huge wrench into that if he can knock off Kim here.”

Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell and Chris Dumont almost immediately charges across the ring, trying to catch Kim with a quick Code Zero, but Kim moves and Dumont ends up in the corner. Kim goes for a roundhouse kick, but Dumont manages to block it before swinging out of the corner with a lariat, but Kim ducks it and grabs a waistlock on the go-behind before delivering a german suplex that throws Dumont into the turnbuckles! Dumont slumps a bit from the impact, and Kim pulls him up just so she can throw him out of the corner with a capture suplex! Kim grins as the fans cheer while she turns to WASLEY sitting under the turnbuckle.

Kim: “What do you think, WASLEY? Worth a couple million views on Instagram already?”

She turns her focus back to Dumont as he climbs to his feet, just in time for her to come out of the corner and blast him with a discus elbow! She goes for a quick cover.

Dumont kicks out just before Hollinsworth’s hand can hit the mat for the two count!

Sharper: “Kim in control here in the early-going, taking advantage of Dumont’s aggression.”

Knight: “She’s been through wars with his friend David Striker over the Underground Title. I know she’s really playing things up to get under the skin of the former Adrenaline Champion, but if she’s not careful, Dumont could turn this thing around in a heartbeat.”

Dumont starts trying to climb back to his feet, but Kim smashes the back of his head with an axe kick! She poses a bit for the cheering fans as Dumont tries again to get back to his feet. Kim goes for another axe kick, but this time Dumont catches her leg, rising just enough to smirk at her before he takes her over with a dragon screw! Kim clutches at her leg as she tries to get back to her feet, but Dumont stuns her with a forearm smash. He then bends her over and delivers the Reaver Kicks to her face, the last one having a bit more impact as it causes Kim to stagger back, clutching at her forehead. As Dumont goes to grab her, though, Kim suddenly kicks him in the gut.

Kim: “My turn!”

Kim suddenly forces Dumont to bend over before giving him a taste of his own Reaver Kicks! Hers don’t seem to have the same stiffness that his did, but she delivers more to make up for it before backing up and trying to finish up with a scissors kick, but Dumont avoids it! He grabs Kim from behind, crossing her wrists in an X before taking her over with a crossed wristlock german suplex! Kim, however, seems to absorb it and rolls through, and she and Dumont get nose-to-nose, both grinning like lunatics as Kim even laughs while the fans erupt.

Sharper: “This is starting to get ugly, and they both look like they’re having the time of their lives!”

Knight: “We all know how crazy Kim is, and Chris has shown how much he loves a good fight!”

Kim and Dumont keep staring each other down before they both run off the ropes, with Kim going for another discus elbow only for Dumont to duck it with a go-behind before taking her over into a bridging german suplex!

Kim Williams kicks out! As they both get back to their feet, Dumont suddenly raises a hand high. Kim just grins at him before reaching for it, but Dumont reveals the ruse as he pops her with a nasty sucker punch! Kim staggers around for a moment, turning her back to Dumont, but when he tries to grab her, she catches him with a pele kick! Dumont staggers back into the ropes as Kim slowly rises, still trying to shake off the sucker punch, but Dumont ends up swinging like a pendulum between the middle and top rope before drilling Kim with a rebound lariat! He goes for another cover.

Kim kicks out again!

Sharper: “Dumont fighting his way back into this, and to your earlier point Lucas, he took advantage of Kim distracting herself with antics meant to get under the skin of Dexter Grant.”

Knight: “Dexter won’t be her concern until Apocalypse, and if this keeps up, she may not make it to that match as the Adrenaline Champion!”

We suddenly cut backstage to see Dexter Grant, scowling as he watches this match play out on a monitor as Dumont is slowly lifting Kim back to her feet.

Sharper: “Speaking of the former champion, Dexter paying very close attention to this one. As we mentioned, his first match for Shot of Adrenaline will be at Apocalypse against Kimberly Williams, a Rise to Greatness rematch.”

Knight: “And as I said, if Dumont has his way, Dexter might not even get his Adrenaline Title rematch with Kim!”

Sharper: “The one drawback to this tournament if you’re the champion: every match you have will see you defending that title.”

We see Dexter seething as he watches for a moment longer before cutting back to the ring, where Dumont has lifted Kim up and we’re just in time to see him take her over with a fallaway slam, floating over into a pin. Kim, however, spins her body around and catches Dumont as he tries to land in a lateral press with a triangle choke! Dumont’s arm flails around, reaching for the ropes as Kim tries to choke him out. Referee Steve Hollinsworth is on top of it, asking Dumont if he wants to submit, but he adamantly refuses. He starts lifting Kim off the mat, hoisting her up to potentially powerbomb her and free himself from the triangle choke, but Kim lets go and jumps off his shoulders, landing right in front of him… just as Dumont suddenly leaps up and catches her with a Code Zero! Kim falls back against the ropes as Dumont staggers back, unable to capitalize as he catches his breath. After a moment, he charges at Kim, looking for the Tiger Knee this time, but as soon as his feet leave the mat, Kim lunges and catches him on the jaw with Morrigan’s Wrath! Dumont crumples to the mat as Kim falls onto him, hooking a leg for the pin.

Chris Dumont gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Morrigan’s Wrath on the button and it only gets two for Kim!”

Knight: “Dumont learning the hard way that throwing blind and aggressive strikes with Kim might not be the best route to take!”

Kim slowly gets up, looking down at Dumont as he starts to recover. She glances over at WASLEY propped in the corner, as if he’s got any suggestions for how she can keep Dumont down. After a moment, she moves to her corner, hopping up onto the second turnbuckle before stepping up to the top as Dumont finally rises. He turns, and Kim leaps off looking for a blockbuster, but Dumont shifts his position and catches her on his shoulders! Kim kicks her legs as Dumont fights to keep a hold of her before going for the Thrill of the Hunt, but Kim manages to flip through and land on her feet! As she turns to him, however, he suddenly leaps up and drills her with the Tiger Knee! Kim ends up falling back and tumbling through the ropes out to the floor, and Dumont looks frustrated about this for a moment before he starts measuring Kim, raising his arms slowly to rally the fans behind him as Kim starts to rise out of the floor. Once she’s upright, he runs off the ropes before diving through and catching her with the Arrow from the Depths of Hell, driving her against the barricade!

Sharper: “Dumont starting to pull out all the stops and if he can get Kim back in the ring, we could have a new Adrenaline Champion!”

Knight: “No countouts by the rules of the title and the tournament, so no champion’s advantage for Kim there!”

Dumont pulls himself up with help from the barricade before grabbing Kim by the head, pulling her up and throwing her back in the ring before he signals to the crowd that he’s ending this match now. He rolls back in and stalks Kim as she slowly pulls herself back to her feet, looking dazed as she stumbles around for a moment before turning right into Dumont, who kicks her in the gut to double her over. He double underhooks her arms and lifts her for the Nightrider, but as he tries to twist Kim around, she somehow manages to squirm free and lands behind him! She falls back against the ropes, bouncing off of them before charging and catching Dumont as he turns with the Shadowblade!

Sharper: “Kim escapes the Nightrider and catches Dumont with the Shadowblade!”

Knight: “She might be about to get on the board and notch her first successful title defense!”

Kim slowly starts to crawl over to Dumont, who almost instinctively rolls over towards the ropes. As Kim tries to pull him away to make the cover, the fans suddenly begin booing like crazy. The reason why becomes apparent as the camera just barely catches Dexter Grant sprinting down to the ring right before he slides in and grabs Kim, pulling her up into a front facelock and planting her with the Detox Drop! Steve Hollinsworth immediately calls for the bell as the fans let Dexter know exactly what they think of his interference, but he doesn’t care as he kneels over Kim, seething with fury.

Grant: “I am NOT letting this senseless ponzi scheme rob me of my rematch!”

Dexter growls down at Kim as he slowly rises, but before he can say anything else to her, he’s suddenly spun around before Dumont unloads on him with the Fury Road combination!

Sharper: “Dexter Grant getting involved, and he just cost Dumont both the Adrenaline Title and two points in the tournament!”

Knight: “He only cares about making sure his match with Kim at Apocalypse will be for the title, and Dumont has every reason to be furious with what he did!”

The spinning back roundhouse from Dumont that completes Fury Road staggers Dexter, but he gets enough of his bearings to respond with a hard right hand. Dumont responds with one of his own, and suddenly he and Dexter are trading rights in the center of the ring. One of Dumont’s stuns Dexter and he tries to follow it up with the Tiger Knee, but Dexter dodges it and kicks him in the gut. He hooks Dumont for the Detox Drop, but he’s suddenly caught on the jaw by a Morrigan’s Wrath from Kim! Dexter hits the mat and rolls out of the ring, stumbling for a moment as he backs up the ramp, holding his jaw. Kim motions for him to come back to the ring.

Kim: “Come on, Dorkster! You don’t want to wait until Apocalypse? We can do this right now!”

Kim is suddenly spun around by Dumont, who gets right in her face, clearly not happy that Kim saved him as the two of them begin to argue. Steve Hollinsworth tries to get between them, and Lucas Knight even rises from the commentary table and removes his headset before climbing into the ring to assist in making sure this doesn’t spiral any further.

Sharper: “Things are getting really heated out here, but the bottom line is this: Kimberly Williams technically getting the win, albeit by disqualification. Chris Dumont getting screwed out of two points and the Adrenaline Championship here tonight, all because Dexter Grant wanted to make absolutely sure that when he and Kim rematch at Apocalypse, the title would be on the line.”

Hollinsworth and Knight, along with a few other officials who have made their way down, make sure to keep Kim and Dumont apart before things escalate any further. In the midst of this, Kim is handed the Adrenaline Championship belt, which she takes and then holds high as she looks towards Dexter, who’s since made it up to the stage and is just shaking his head and muttering something to himself as a few officials linger by him to make sure he doesn’t run back down.

The scene then opens up backstage, as we hear a commotion. The cameraman turns into the room to show Angelica Jones trying to stop Wendell who is going through a bag in he locker room. Angelica grabs his arm, but Wendell reaches up and rakes the eyes. Angelica staggers as Wendell grabs WASLEY out from the bag. He turns and runs. Angelica lunges, going for his foot, trying to pull him down, but he manages to get free and runs down the hallway.

Sharper: “My God! Wendell! He just took WASLEY!”

Knight: “What the hell is that going to come Apocalypse?!”

The camera focuses on Wendell running down the hallway before the scene fades to black…
