Should be coming soon. I'm working on segments now. Sorry for the delay - I had an opportunity to reflect the LOAs so it led me to rewriting most of the show to make things work. Hopefully it will be worth it. Regardless, I hope to have it done tonight, with a card tomorrow morning. Worst case, both up tomorrow morning. Deadline for the ppv will be Monday October 2, 2023 at 11:59:59 pm ET.

  The Eclipsing Enigma
Posted by: The Enigma - 09-22-2023, 11:29 AM - Forum: Character Development - No Replies

In the heart of a secluded village known as Thornbrooke, nestled deep within an ancient and mysterious forest, a sinister secret had taken root, a tale woven with threads of darkness, a tapestry of dread and foreboding that stretched back through countless generations. Thornbrooke, a place both secluded and enchanting, had long been a wellspring of mystique, where the past and the present danced an eerie waltz beneath the canopy of ancient trees. The very air whispered ancient secrets, and the shadows seemed to conceal not only the village's history but also its looming fate.

The night of Elias Veil's birth, the man who would later become known as The Enigma, stands as an indelible chapter in the annals of Thornbrooke's history. On that fateful night, even the cosmos appeared to converge, marking the arrival of this enigmatic figure. The celestial canopy bore witness to an extraordinary celestial phenomenon—a blood-red moon. It hung low in the sky, dominating the night with its fiery crimson hue, and seemed close enough to touch. The entire landscape basked in its eerie glow, casting shadows that twisted and danced in the moonlight.

The eerie radiance of the blood-red moon transformed Thornbrooke, its roofs and cobblestone streets bathed in an otherworldly scarlet hue. It was as though the village itself had been ensnared by a cosmic spell. The villagers gathered outside their homes, captivated by the ethereal spectacle that unfolded above them. The night held an undeniable sense of the supernatural, a profound connection between the earthly realm and the enigmatic forces that governed the universe.

The blood-red moon served as an omen—an inscrutable sign that heralded the arrival of Elias Veil, a child whose destiny would forever be intertwined with the mysteries of Thornbrooke. It was a night when the boundaries between reality and the unknown seemed to blur, leaving an indelible mark on Thornbrooke's history.

The residents of Thornbrooke, living lives steeped in tradition and isolation, found solace in their customs and profound connection to the past. They were the stewards of ancient legacies, and their dedication to these rituals ran deep. From the way they tended their crops to the ceremonies that marked the changing seasons, every action held a deep, spiritual significance.

Within the rustic cottages, the residents lived a life that was both mysterious and seemingly removed from the world beyond the ancient forest. They carried a torch that had been passed down through generations, preserving traditions that had become a part of their very essence.

In the dimly lit chamber of Elias Veil's secluded cottage, flickering candles cast eerie shadows across the walls lined with dusty tomes and arcane artifacts. Elias, consumed by his relentless pursuit, had transformed the room into a malevolent crypt. The air was thick with the scent of aged parchment and the faint aroma of incense, further deepening the sense of foreboding.

Within this chamber, Elias Veil embarked on a relentless journey to uncover the origins of the malevolent entity that had seized Thornbrooke's soul. Every night, he poured over manuscripts, translated cryptic symbols, and deciphered the intricate web of rituals that bound the entity to the Blood Moon. His obsession was all-consuming, blurring the lines between his own humanity and the malevolence that had taken root in Thornbrooke.

The lore Elias sought was buried deep within the archives of Thornbrooke, a repository of secrets that stretched back through centuries. It hinted at unspeakable rituals, sacrilegious pacts, and the willing descent of Thornbrooke's ancestors into depravity. It was a history steeped in the darkness of the abyss, a legacy of horrors that no mortal should ever uncover.

As Elias delved deeper into his research, the room itself seemed to come alive with an unholy energy. The very walls whispered secrets of their own, as if eager to contribute to the unraveling enigma. Ancient artifacts, their purpose now clearer to Elias, bore witness to a time when Thornbrooke's fate had been sealed in darkness.

Backstage at Supreme Championship Wrestling, the wrestlers readied themselves for their impending battles, their minds weighed down by an intangible but ever-present dread. The ambiance was thick with trepidation, and each competitor, though hardened by their profession, found themselves on the precipice of unease. The looming cosmic alignment cast a chilling shadow over the event, and the air felt dense with a lurking enigma.

Yet, lurking within the shadows, the malevolent presence remained concealed, reveling in the growing trepidation. It knew that its moment of emergence approached, and it savored the palpable fear that clung to the air. Its voice, a haunting murmur that seemed to emanate from the very walls, carried cryptic promises of what lay in store.

"As night descends, so too shall the entity ascend," it whispered, its words dripping with cryptic portent. "The cosmic alignment of fate and destiny looms above like a harbinger of despair. In the world of Supreme Championship Wrestling, darkness has a penchant for emerging from the shadows when least expected."

The room, once a sanctuary for arcane knowledge, had transformed into a malevolent crypt, its walls pulsating with the energy of a cursed history. The Enigma , consumed by his relentless pursuit, had unwittingly unleashed forces that threatened to engulf him in a darkness from which there might be no escape.

Backstage, the wrestlers felt an eerie chill in the air, as though the malevolent presence had permeated every corner of the arena. They exchanged uneasy glances, their camaraderie overshadowed by a sense of impending doom.

In the midst of the darkness, the malevolent presence bided its time, waiting for the cosmic alignment to draw ever closer. Its intentions remained shrouded in mystery, and its laughter echoed through the corridors like a sinister requiem.

As the night unfolded and its plans began to take shape, one thing remained certain: Thornbrooke's dark history was destined to collide with the world of Supreme Championship Wrestling, and the consequences would be both dire and mysterious, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of those who crossed its path.

I need to take an indefinite step out. Not in a great place mentally and it's really hard to get into the spirit of things as is. I apologize to Adam, I did want to provide you with more as I was stoked for our matches.
