Christy Matthews vs. Alexis Quinne
Christy Matthews shockingly was not part of the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal while Alexis Quinne nearly was the ironwoman (A title only surpassed by runner-up Syren). But these former friends will face off in the ring to start off their respective Roads to Rise to Greatness. Christy Matthews has made clear a focus on Holly Adams as of late, while Alexis Quinne has been taking on any who stand in her way, enjoying the thrill of competition. What will happen when these two former World Champions clash on Breakdown?
 
Glory Braddock vs. Owen Lee
Both hoped to walk out the winner of the Taking Hold of the Flame, but neither were able to win. But now, they will clash in what is sure to be a treat on Breakdown. Owen Lee has Josh Hudson in his sights (and vice-versa) and where better to go than to face the woman who nearly beat him for the US Championship. Glory Braddock meanwhile has seen a change of character as of late, but this may be an opportunity for her to show what she can do in the ring against one of the young stars, while still showcasing her looser style?

Deanna Frost vs. Jenni Anderson
Signed at Taking Hold of the Flame, Jenni Anderson has no more ways out. She paid someone to attack Deanna in their first match. At Taking Hold of the Flame, under the guise of integrity, she tried to weasel out of the second. Now, they will meet and third time has to be the charm. Either the Queenpin competes or we have a new TV Champion?
 
Beard vs. Samuel Davis
Beard and Samuel Davis have had winding paths in their careers but Beard seems to be thriving while Samuel Davis has had some setbacks. These two will face on Breakdown and we know the Brand will be watching it closely.
 
Sarah Wolf vs. Ace Sky
Was anyone more unnerving than Sarah Wolf at the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal? Meanwhile, Ace Sky, only in for a brief period, had a very memorable first battle royal appearance. Wolf eliminated Sky and now Sky will be looking to meet on more solid ground. What will overcome? The violent style of Wolf or the highflying technical skills of Sky?
 
Fantasia Sanderson III (The Artist Formerly Known as Clamidiya, Calliope, Brittany Lohan, “Peach,” and Anastasia) vs. Crystal Zdunich
We don’t know what her name will be but we know one thing. Holly Adams has no love lost for Crystal Zdunich. This match could have more importance for the Brand as a result as they try to develop the love interest of Samuel Davis into a legitimate threat too. Meanwhile, Zdunich hopes that she can quiet the doubters.

Spotlights begin to swirl around the arena as the song continues, and "The One" Kirsten Scott walks out from backstage flanked by Hailey.  The pair end up on both sides of The Oracle, who turns around and spins to the opposite side of Kirsten from Hailey.  Kirsten and her compatriots begin their walk to the ring together with "The One" staring directly at her ultimate location inside the squared circle.

As they reach the ring, they walk along to the hard camera side, and Kirsten jumps up onto the ring apron and stands up.  Hailey goes into the ring, directly behind her friend, jumping on the middle rope, and The Oracle stands on the floor directly beneath Kirsten.  Kirsten slowly raises her arm beside her, pointing one index finger in her own direction, while Hailey and The Oracle begin doing the same in Kirsten's direction as well, all signifying her former name, and now nickname, of "The One."

After taking a moment to stare into the hard cam, Kirsten swings her arm out in a "DELETE" motion, before quickly sliding into the open ropes from being stood on by Hailey, and immediately goes to her corner.  Hailey quickly follows, as does The Oracle from the outside.  Both of "The One's" compatriots stand with her, advising her and talking to her, as she awaits the bell ringing to start her match.

Welp, we're here.

First off, the easy part - THOTF should be up mid-week. I'm working on it now. The battle royal will be the big thing (obviously), but once I hit my stride there, I should be able to get it done. A card will follow.

More importantly, for those who are not in the know, this is Rise to Greatness season!

This is our biggest time of the year, leading to our biggest event of the year, Rise to Greatness. This is also when I try to go all out on my end to develop the strongest angles I can. I will try to even have a general week to week plan, far more structured than I normally do, with the aim of giving everyone the best I can.
