Schedule Changes |

I've been giving it some thought and part of the delay in getting Apocalypse up was a result of my own teaching schedule and just having too much going on. Frankly, I was drained some days and that only delays things.
Rather than making this the new normal, there's a simple fix that I think will benefit everyone.
Starting with the current roleplay cycle, there will no longer be a Breakdown in the week before a ppv. So, for example, the October 14th Breakdown is cancelled. Under Attack takes place October 18. This allows two things. I don't have to try and come up with a card while taking into account everyone's ppv matches, making booking a bit easier. People can focus on the ppv more earlier. And I can start working on the show well before the show deadline, and hopefully limit the lag time after. This also then allows me to take a day for myself here and there if I'm running around between the responsibilities for my job.
This will have some effects - some cycles will be shorter. I have to reschedule the Tag League. But I think long-term, it will help us all out.

Tag League Overview and Rules |

Rules:
The tournament is split into two blocks. In each block, every team will face each once. Points are as follows: Win – 2 points; Draw – 1 point; Loss – 0 points. The teams with the most points at the end will face off at the January TBA pay per view. Should there be a tie, appropriate semi-finals matches to act as tiebreakers will also occur on that night. If the winner of the tournament is not already the SCW World Tag Team Champion, they will not only receive the title of SCW World Tag League Winner, but a World Tag Team Championship shot at Retribution 2020.
The World Tag Team Champions are competitors in the tournament; every match that the champions compete in will be considered a title match with standard rules enforced (Titles can change hands on a pinfall, submission or TKO, but not on countouts or disqualifications).
Should a team break up, they will remain part of the tournament. In the event of injury, the injured partner can be replaced. Should both original team members be injured, the team forfeits all remaining matches.
OOC Notes:
This tournament will be a fed-wide angle for the remainder of the year. You may notice that, for the most part, there are few PPV matches included in the tournament. This is intentional. Stories and angles will continue around the tournament.
Of course, some of these teams may have their own internal angles, or even break up – that will only add another layer of story-telling to the tournament. Use the tournament as you see fit for your own purposes. Even if you’re teamed with one person and elect to split the team or go in different directions, I will respond in kind, but their involvement in the tournament will not change.
When the schedule is up, please note that it will be strictly booked to that. Please plan accordingly. No matches will be angled or rescheduled in this tournament. If someone needs to go on a LOA or leave the fed for an extended period, the IC rules above regarding injury will come into force (one member could find a replacement; forfeiture if both team members are out).
Should a member of the tournament win the SCW Television Championship, they could be double-booked. In those cases, they are allowed to post their roleplays for the tournament or their TV Title match for the other, and vice-versa, provided the roleplays agree with any other roleplaying rules (RP Limits, one RP in final 24 hours, etc.).
SCHEDULE WILL BE ADDED HERE UPON IT BEING REDONE.

I think it's fair to say that I've been pretty shit with my commitments in a lot of ways the last few months, whether it's my characters here in EMERGE, my GCW stuff, or my SCW stuff where Jason in particular is concerned.
I've been sat at my laptop for ~4 hours now, and in that time I've done about 300 words. Lethargy is kicking my arse and I can't concentrate. I think this pandemic shit has basically cought up to me months after everyone else or at least it feels that way I guess. I need to step away from some things and hopefully come out the other side feeling refreshed.
For now, I'm gonna say I'm officially not posting anything for the ppv (Sorry to hand you a cheap win Omar) and I'm stepping back and taking a LOA with both characters for a while while I try and get my shit together. Hopefully I come back feeling better about stuff down the line but right now I just need to clear my head. Sorry Chris, I know you work hard for EMERGE and put a tonne of hard work into the shows, but let's face it, for the most part I've done nothing to show how much it's appreciated via my own work, which has been relatively non-existent at times.
It's for the best that you concentrate on handlers/characters that put the work in. I just don't have it in me right now and I'm sorry about that. Love all you guys, sorry to those I'm letting down/who care.

I know I just got here and all but due to some personal issues I am going to just ask for a LOA for the foreseeable future so as not to continue to no show. I have no idea how long it will take to get back from sorting out my head space and getting back to the point I feel like I can commit the way that I want to. You can message me on Discord if you want you want to talk.

My hope is to get the show up tomorrow evening. Much of that will depend on how draining teaching online will be, and how well writing the IronWoman Match goes. Thanks for the patience.
