  So...

Doubt I'm getting anything up today. Not in the headspace to be honest. And I would say don't book me until the pay per view, with the way I'm feeling at the moment I doubt that'll help much. With December coming up and my yearly "I'm off for December" tradition, I'm done for the rest of 2019.

Not promising anything for 2020. One step, one day at a time.

Sorry for the inconvience; especially if anything was planned for Drake.

  Looking forwards

I know, we haven't finished this one yet, however I think this is worthwhile talking about now. A BIG announcement is occuring on the next Invasion, which sets out next year, but in addition and as you know, I've had a bee in my bonnet for a while regarding the three week period between shows, and I 'think' I've come up with a solution.

In the middle of the rp period, probably on a Thursday so it doesn't clash with anything, I am going to have a secondary show, where all the matches I will put in basically for feud purposes and to push storylines. This show will basically take the form of an 'angle' fed, whereby I will rely on voluntary submissions from you guys to push things forwards. If X is facing Y on EMERGE for example,  you could get together with your opponent and formulize an attack, or a confrontation, anything goes.

Results will be totally summarised, and will be based on nothing else other than the above... to give the EMERGE show a little more humph.

What do we think?

While this is happening, the crowd get excited as Christian Cannon slowly walks out onto the stage with his head down, casually moving his body to the music and the lyrics…

Announcer: “Hailing from London, England by way of Hermosa Beach, CA... He is Christian Cannon…”

The music suddenly kicks into full gear when his introduction finishes and he looks around with a lot more focused look in his eyes as some of the crowd cheers. He pumps his fist before beginning to walk down to the ring, slapping hands with some fans. He then runs the rest of the way and dives into the ring via the bottom rope and rolls to his feet with one fluid motion before scaling a corner looking even more pumped than before. He looks out to the crowd before looking upwards and pointing towards it and nods to himself before stepping down from the corner when his music begins to fade…

Wrestler Biography:

Christian is the latest in a long line of men who have donned the Cannon name, named after his grandfather, he was born in London England, to a mother who passed while he was young. Wrestling you can say has been in his blood since he was conceived however that moment was never brought to his fathers’ attention until a long time later. That said Christian never wanted to be a professional wrestler despite being incredibly athletic and like man kids a fan of the sport.

It wasn’t until moving to the United States and living with his father and the woman he was married to Kelcey adopted him that the wrestling bug had set in. He was a fan the business, but never thought about competing. This all changed of course after seeing those he loved suffering in a business they all too part in. The straw that broke the camel’s back was when Kelcey fell into a coma. Fearing that he was going to lose another woman in his life that he now called mother, he jumped into his training even more to take his mind of everything.

With his god given natural ability he took to it like a fish to water and surprised Eddie Tanner, the man who took him under his wing and it wasn’t long before he was competing in small shows across the country. It had been unheard of to be honest. The plan was to travel the indy’s first, giving him more time to get ready for the big leagues and then take part in the tournament for Ricky Octavius but here we are now after chaos ensuing on the roster and injuries dwindling it and with that EMERGE brought him in sooner than expected where they now intend to push him to the moon it seems.

Because of his namesake…

Where the journey will take him only fate knows…

Biography: From a young age, all Curtis had known was boxing. His parents having enrolled him in a local club at the age of six so he didn’t end up like many kids did on the Toxteth estate in Liverpool.

Although it was never thought to be anything but a hobby, Curtis rose through the ranks to actually become British Amateur Heavyweight Champion at the age of 25, and was highly regarded, and ready to make the step into the professional leagues. However whilst still champion, Curtis was in a motorcycle accident and was told by the Doctors that he would never walk again.

Driven by that, Curtis did indeed walk again and then some, and a year on from the accident, he was out of his wheelchair, six months after that, he threw away the crutches, winning the biggest fight of his life

Curtis could have gone back to boxing, but he saw an advertisement for EMERGE, and actually attended one of the tryouts, and was unfortunately unsuccessful. Six months after that disappointment, a personal call from Drew Bryant changed all that…

  The Connection
Posted by: Thomas Valentine - 11-05-2019, 06:22 AM - Forum: Tag Teams - Replies (1)

Tag Team Name: The Connection

Members: Tommy Valentine and Kandis

Alignment: Heel

Gimmick: Both are adept at and take advantage of any distractions that present themselves that help them get ahead.

Entrance Music: “More Human Than Human” by White Zombie

Entrance Description:

The sound of a whip cracking gets everyone's attention, followed by the heavy bass riff of “More Human than Human.” The sounds of a female in the throes of passion seem to have been replaced with Kandis' voice.. When the moaning stops, the heavier music kicks in, then Kandis and Tommy Valentine come through the curtain. Both smirk as they look around.

Phillips: “And their opponents..... from Santa Barbara, California, Tommy Valentine and Kandis.... they are The Connection!”

The heavy music continues as the pair walk down the ramp, Kandis a step ahead, with Tommy clearly watching her voluptuous rear end as they proceed. Once getting to the ring, Tommy hops on the apron as Kandis goes up the steps. He holds the ropes open for her, and she steps through, slowly, making sure all who are interested get a good view (and pics) of her ass. Once in the ring, Kandis walks around showing herself off while Tommy watches. Kandis then walks to their corner, and Tommy follows, giving her ass a light slap as they get to the corner.

Primary Finishers:

Welcome Distraction – The Revival’s ‘Shatter Machine’. Tommy lifts the opponent up into a flapjack and Kandis brings them down onto her knees face first before the pin is made.

No Strings Attached – LAX’s ‘Street Sweeper’. Tommy lifts the opponent up for a powerbomb whilst Kandis is on the second rope. Kandis leaps off and hits a blockbuster as Tommy drops them for the sit-out powerbomb simultaneously.(Would mainly be for lighter opponents that Tommy can feasibly lift and hold in the air)

Signature Moves:

Twice As Nice – Tommy hits a running boot to an opponents face whilst they are on their knees/in a seated position as Kandis hits a running knee to the back of their head.

Double Bass Drop – Tommy hits a standing moonsault on the opponent then Kandis hits the Bass Drop.

Starbreaker – Kandis drops the opponent with a Samoan Drop then Tommy goes from the top rope with the Force Of Nature Swanton.

Biography:

Both Tommy and Kandis were barely acquaintances to begin with until Tommy reached out to Kandis via a Woman Crush Wednesday ‘nomination’ on Twitter. The pair hooked up and then were inadvertently thrown together as a tag team which ultimately caused the chemistry with them to increase in more ways than one. After already holding the SCW Tag Team Titles, the duo don’t show any signs of stopping with their own brand of entertainment even after being defeated for them.

  The Pyramid - EMERGE Championship
Posted by: thisisemerge - 11-05-2019, 04:42 AM - Forum: Emerge Archives - Replies (2)

Willow Wilkes versus YUYO versus Christian Cannon versus Donovan Street

Anyone who witnessed the first pyramid knows that this match is not for the fainthearted. Starting on the bottom section, it is a straight fight to claim a ladder and get through the trap door and onto level two, the first three people advancing. On level two, there awaits weapons, as the three remaining aim to fight their way to level three, the EMERGE Championship hanging from the tip of the Pyramid, a single ladder available. The person that pulls it down, ending the year as EMERGE Champion.

Christian Cannon - The Young buck competing in only his second professional match
Donovan Street - His name a legacy, is this his moment
YUYO - The wildcard, who never gives up
Willow Wilkes - The Champion, who has dominated 2019

One of these individuals ends the year in the best possible way, the other three... potentially broken

Tombstone made it clear on #30 they wanted their rematch and it happens in Munich. Can Tombstone regain what they believe is theirs, or will Moustache Ride once again come out victorious. With VGP waiting in the wings, who knows what will happen when these two teams collide once more

DEADLINE ONE - 3250 ROLEPLAY 15TH NOVEMBER 2019 2359 EST

DEADLINE TWO - 750 WORD SHOOT / SEGMENT 17TH NOVEMBER 2019 2359 EST
