Rise to Greatness XXI deadline has passed.

I'm going to try and take some time off, more to recharge generally, and hopefully be less tired and probably burnt out, and to return with what I hope will be the best Rise to Greatness XXI left. Thank you to everyone for your effort on this show. You've earned a break, or a drink, or a hot tea, or whatever you do to unwind and more. Enjoy that time away and we can come back firing on all cylinders and keep up the momentum that I know we've all been feeling these past two months.

Finally, if you have people thinking about SCW, please turn them our way. I try to make the Breakdown after RTG a strong show and hopefully some surprises can come our way too.

Thank you for making SCW what it is. It is entirely because of the effort you all put in that SCW is what it is. Simple as that.

I will be heading out of town that week for a wedding and won't be returning until the following week. I should only have to miss this one show; however, ideally, for the first show back (9/5), I would like to be only booked once.

With Rise to Greatness on the horizon, I wanted to outline what to expect from a fed standpoint and a show posting standpoint. Normally, after Rise to Greatness every year, SCW takes a brief couple week hiatus. This is both to serve as a break for everyone and for me to yet again fail to take a break. Normally, Rise to Greatness and its pre-show are posted as a way to hype up the return and so they won't be up for a couple of weeks.

Here's the tentative schedule - it may be adjusted based off how show writing goes and my own need to take a break.

Deadline for Rise to Greatness: Sunday, July 28
Rise to Greatness Pre-Show completion and posting: August 7
Rise to Greatness XXI complete show: August 15
Planned return from hiatus: August 15
First Breakdown back: August 22

These are not fixed dates, but give you a sense of the hiatus and when to expect shows to go up and for us to return. It's also a target date so if you know people who are looking for a competitive rp fed, please have them get in touch about joining for our new season.

Most importantly, once you're done roleplaying for RTG, please take some time off. Go outside. Do somethings. Recharge.
