SCW Roster in review - supremecw - 10-21-2018
In the discord, I asked if people would be interested in a general overview of the roster breakdown. So over the next few days I'm going to post a number of lists that outline how the roster is broken down. This first one is just face/heel divide and position on card as I see it.
Please note that I will not be giving any details of who. This will be strictly just data to know how the roster breaks down based on how I see it. That said, feel free to chat with me about it. This is also a way to help people understand where they may fit in and also to remove some of the "myths" of the roster.
For example - the roster is not predominantly heel:
Main Event faces: 2
Main Event heels: 4
Main Event tweeners: 1
Upper Midcard faces: 10
Upper Midcard heels: 8
Midcard faces: 12
Midcard heels: 9
Other faces: 6
Other heels: 10
*Please note Other includes new/unestablished characters, characters that appear infrequently in matches or strictly tag wrestlers
TOTAL FACES: 30
TOTAL HEELS: 31
Also to give a sense of the depth of the roster, there are NINETEEN former World Champions currently on the roster (roughly a third of the roster has held the World Championship at some point).

This is not necessary a judgment (Some do them well. Some better than others.). More just showing how many similar types of characters SCW has if I was forced to put people into a box - this was as of the roster going into Under Attack 2018. Ultimately, read into this what you will:
Smiling babyfaces (think old school face, smiling, fighting for what's right, etc.): 10
Cocky heels: 9
Model/Goddess: 6
“Dark” characters: 9
Comedy characters (strictly comedy): 3
Unique/goofy characters (Not pure comedy): 5
No real gimmick (They compete): 17
Intellectual Marvels: 4
Ass-kicker: 1
Monster heels: 3
Redemption stories: 3
Grizzled veteran: 8

Wait, where does Cassidy fall on the last breakdown? I wouldn't say she's a cocky heel.

Cocky = arrogance is a defining factor of the character and their portrayal.
