Highly dedicated: Kevin is very dedicated to the sport of professional wrestling and it shows in both his training and the range of what he can do in the ring, this shows mainly in what he can do in the ring move wise as he works hard to understand what he can do inside and outside of the ring by studying hours of tape footage to figure out how to add or improve to his arsenal. -2. The “Bedrock of the Phantom Troupe”: Kevin, despite his age, has an almost “Graham Baker” level of pain tolerance by one commentator in Extreme Wrestling Incorporated a couple of years ago due to the sheer beating that he took during a trios deathmatch Weaknesses: -1. Still young: Kevin is still a couple of years or so into his full time career as a professional wrestler, having gotten a late start due to him going to college prior to becoming a wrestler. -2. In the shadows: While a member of a major wrestling family, Kevin is still in the shadows of his more (in)famous family members like his father, uncles, aunts, cousins, and siblings such Devon Slayton (of WrestleWorld & Millennium Wrestling), Amy Slayton (of Joshi Extreme Takeover fame), & SCW's own Dante Slayton. Kevin is all in on building his career not based on that particular tire fire mountain, but that doesn't mean that people don't compare him to the very people that he's stuck in the shadows of for the time being.   Entrance: Biography: The third oldest of the children born to professional wrestler Marcus Alexander Slayton Senior and his second wife, Kelly Renard-Gellar, Kevin originally didn't want to become a professional wrestler but instead he wanted to play football professionally for his favorite team in the Jacksonville Jaguars. However while the exact reasons for him not becoming a member of the NFL isn't known, what is known however is that he graduated from the University of Central Florida with a masters in aerospace engineering and was unsure of what to do with his future, however he spent a summer travelling with his older brothers Alex (AKA Marcus Junior) and Dante who were both doing a run of the indy scene in Japan, he decided to finally give in and give the family trade a try for a while. Kevin was then trained by his father (an extremely *RARE* occasion as the Elder Slayton did not train any of his other children) alongside Amanda Belnades, Jayson Castle, and several others at the infamous “Dojo” in Cameron North Carolina, briefly taking on the identity of “David Belmont” and becoming one fourth of the “Mechanical Animals” alongside Jacob Striker, Wil Pierce and Amanda Belnades in One Wrestle Movement for a short period of time before joining Extreme Wrestling Incorporated and it was in EWI that Kevin first met both of his future partners in David and Gabe where they would eventually form a loose version of what the commentators would come to call the “Extreme Freebirds” due to how their respective wrestling styles and personalities worked. However, when his contract with EWI came up he was covertly contacted by Alex Belmont (his former “brother”) and he was offered a unique spot in what would become the newly revamped version of the Phantom Troupe.
