===== ========== June 29th, 2026 Boston, Massachusetts Off Camera ========== Taking Hold of the Flame partially went as Marie Jones had planned. She certainly got one over on her identical twin sister, Kimberly Williams. The penguin outfit fooled everyone but, more importantly, it fooled Kimmy. She had no idea that The Phoenix was planning a grand return. And to return in that fashion, to let loose and just try to enjoy herself and entertain the fans, it felt good. It felt right. She proved to Kimmy that she can let loose and have fun. Also, by taking their mother’s advice and try to be more like Kim, Marie had a lot more fun. She enjoyed the event, despite the fact that she did not win the Flame as she was hoping for. Everything seemed to be going off perfectly for her return to Supreme Championship Wrestling, and just in time for Rise To Greatness season. Unfortunately her smooth, seemingly perfect return came to an abrupt halt on the following Breakdown when she was instantly met by the CEO Frank Delatosso. Marie is no slouch when it comes to her wrestling; she always does her homework and she has kept up with SCW even during her absence. She knows about CEO Frank and his New Order. It is obvious that everyone within this New Order are selfishly out for themselves and it is clear that they do not care for the greater good of professional wrestling. Yet the CEO offered The Phoenix the same offer that the others received; an opportunity. Jones has been fooled with this same offer before involving Infamous. They tricked her into joining their ranks with the offer of an opportunity. Jones knows better than to take the bait again. Yet, at the same time, she has the same thought process as her twin sister Kimberly; The Phoenix has no desire of fighting this civil war between this New Order and those who are opposed to it. It gives Jones pause to consider; perhaps she and Kim should simply just strike a deal with the CEO: leave them alone and they won’t fight him and his New Order. Plus, on top of that, Marie’s first match back in SCW will be against a returning Alistaire Allocco, who has clearly bought into what the CEO is selling. The Phoenix isn’t expecting fair play out of Allocco but she does hope that, at the very least, the New Order will stay out of her business as long as she stays out of theirs, which is precisely what she plans to do. She and Kim, Twin Magic, do not want to fight this battle. Her upcoming battle with Alistaire Allocco isn’t the only thing on the mind of The Phoenix as she makes her return to professional wrestling. It wasn’t long before Taking Hold of the Flame that her missing boyfriend, Percy Matthews, resurfaced as a bloody mess outside in front of a bar in Boston, Massachusetts. Seeing him in that state, especially considering the fact that he had gone missing, dropped off the radar, for as long as he did, causes Marie to have great concern; has he fallen off the wagon so to speak? Has he gotten in trouble with the law again? This man, who had spent time in prison but swore to turn his life around, has he already failed? The high ceilings of Marie’s luxurious Boston home usually lent the living room an air of grand, open tranquility, but tonight the space felt as suffocatingly cramped as a holding cell. Ambient light from the wrought iron streetlamps filtered through the towering sheer curtains, casting long, skeletal shadows across the pristine cream colored walls and the polished mahogany floors. The room was a showcase of Marie’s success, filled with plush velvet sofas, delicate glass coffee tables, and expensive art pieces, but the luxury did nothing to soften the thick, agonizing tension that hung in the air like a storm cloud. Marie sat on the edge of an ivory tufted armchair, her posture so rigid she looked as though she might snap. Even for a quiet, stressful evening indoors, she remained a portrait of deliberate, refined elegance. She wore a long, flowing silk lounge dress in a deep midnight blue that pooled gracefully around her ankles, the rich fabric draping over the athletic curves of her shoulders. Her vibrant red hair was swept up into a loose, sophisticated chignon, though a few stray coppery strands had escaped to frame her pale, tight face. Despite her immaculate appearance, the illusion of control was shattered by her hands, which were clenched so tightly in her lap that her knuckles were entirely white. Her sharp green eyes were fixed entirely on Percy, her gaze a volatile mix of profound heartache, lingering terror from the alleyway, and a simmering, protective anger that she was barely keeping under wraps. Across the room, standing near the dark marble fireplace as if he didn't dare sit on the expensive furniture, Percy was a jarring, hostile blemish against the room's upper class aesthetic. He looked like a ghost from a past life that had forcefully broken through the floorboards. He was dressed precisely like the street biker thug he had spent years trying to convince the world he no longer was. His heavy, scuffed black leather motorcycle jacket sat thick on his shoulders, the silver zippers clinking faintly every time his chest hitched with a ragged breath. Beneath it, a faded, grease stained grease monkey t shirt clung to his frame, and his legs were encased in stiff, dark denim jeans that were threadbare at the knees and caked with dried road grit at the cuffs. Heavy, steel toed riding boots anchored him to the expensive Persian rug, leaving faint, dusty tracks on the fabric. The physical aftermath of the beating from a few weeks ago was still painfully visible on his skin, a grim map of violence. The swelling around his left eye had gone down, but it was replaced by a fading, sickly yellow and green bruise that stretched down his cheekbone. The butterfly bandages holding his eyebrow together were peeling at the edges, and a dark, jagged scab still marred the corner of his mouth. But it wasn't the physical trauma that made him look so entirely unraveled; it was his demeanor. Percy refused to meet Marie’s eyes, keeping his head angled toward the empty hearth. His jaw was clenched so hard the muscles in his cheek ticked rhythmically, and his right hand kept nervously drifting toward the heavy silver ring on his finger, twisting it around and around in a manic, repetitive motion. He carried the heavy, suffocating weight of a man drowning in a secret, looking less like a victim recovering from an ambush and more like a fugitive waiting for the sirens to close in. “You know, Percy, I love you…” Jones sighs “...well, I thought I loved you at least…” “And I love you.” Percy says quietly. “You say that but your actions are making it difficult for me to know what I should believe.” She sighs. “You disappeared, Percy. I tried contacting you, I called and I sent text messages, I tried everything except sending damn smoke signals and yet you never once answered me.” “I’m sorry.” Percy responds meekly. “Sorry?!” She exclaims. “Percy, you are my boyfriend. I love you. But I didn’t see you again until my sister and I stumbled upon your beaten body in front of the bar. That isn’t how normal girlfriends find their boyfriends. Normal boyfriends just simply answer the phone and talk when their girlfriends call. Is that so much to ask?” “Again, I’m sorry, but it wasn’t my fault…” “You need to take responsibility for your actions.” Marie states. “I had to learn that the hard way. I went into Taking Hold of the Flame promising victory. But I couldn’t get the job done. Deanna Frost won. But do you see me complaining? Do you see me blaming someone else for my defeat? No, because that defeat was on me. Now I have my first real match back, I’m going against Alistaire Allocco, but if he beats me am I going to blame everyone else? No, I’m not, because that’s not who I am.” “I’m telling you, it wasn’t my fault, babe.” “Don’t!” Marie exclaims. “Kimmy and I found you nearly beaten to death outside of a bar, this was after you had gone missing. After you started ignoring my calls and texts. I am not dumb, Percy. I knew who I was getting involved with when I started dating you. I know your background. You are an ex-con. You spent time in prison. You were involved in motorcycle gangs. So tell me, Percy, and be honest with me; what the hell happened back there? How did you end up beaten to death at that bar?” “You…” he sighs and shakes his head “...you really don’t want to know…” “Yes, I do.” Marie insists. “If you want to be in my life then you need to become a part of this family and in this family we help each other. We never turn our backs on each other. So if you are in any trouble, tell me.” The Phoenix stares deeply into her boyfriend’s eyes. She can tell that he is hiding something, some dark secret, something he is afraid of telling her. Marie almost believes that Percy is right, that maybe she doesn’t truly want to know. Jones is happy with Percy but she also realizes that if he has returned to a life of crime, which is what led to his beating, then she will have to abandon this relationship. It will be yet another failed relationship for Marie Jones. Finally, after a tense moment, Percy speaks. “I was….I was mugged.” “You were mugged?” “Yes.” He nods his head. “Fine, I can buy that, you were mugged. But do you know who mugged you?” “No idea.” He shakes his head. Marie sighs out of frustration. “You’re lying to me.” “I swear I’m not lying!” “Yes, you are!” She exclaims. “I can see it in your eyes, you are hiding something from me. There is something about that incident that you are afraid to tell me. You are just telling me the bare bones and leaving out important details. Be honest with me; did you get involved with some of your ‘old friends’ again?” “Honestly, Marie, I’m telling the truth, I have not gotten involved with crime again!” “I still don’t believe you.” Marie shakes her head. “But let’s say hypothetically that you are telling me the truth. Why were you mugged? It’s not like you fit the description of the perfect victim for a mugging. You are built, muscular, no one would dare take you on unless you owed them something. Alternatively maybe YOU were the one who provoked things?” “I didn’t provoke anything!” “Really?” Marie rolls her eyes. “I find that hard to believe. You were drunk that night.” “I wasn’t!” “Quit lying to me!” Marie shouts. “I smelled the alcohol on you!” Another tense moment passes as Percy stares deep into his girlfriend’s eyes. Finally he admits defeat. He nods his head and slouches over in shame. “Yes, fine, I admit it. I was drinking that night.” “Oh my God!” Marie exclaims. Jones stands up and immediately starts pacing the floor. A fierce anger, the kind that the Jones women are known for, flares up within her. “Percy Matthews, you dumb son of a bitch. You were drinking.” “I’m sorry…” “I don’t want to hear it!” She shouts angrily. “You aren’t supposed to be anywhere near the stuff! You violated the terms of your parole!” She chuckles. “So that’s why you didn’t want me and Kim to call an ambulance for you. You knew that if we did the authorities would quickly figure out that you violated your parole and you would be going back to prison.” “Marie, please…” “You manipulated me.” She rolls her eyes. “And Kim. You manipulated her too. If Kim finds out you manipulated her she will kill you. And I am not entirely joking about that. My sister is psychotic.” “Yes, that’s why I didn’t want you to notify authorities.” Percy admits, nodding his head. “But it was the one and only time, I swear!” “Really?” Marie asks, skepticism dripping from her voice. “Tonight has been very enlightening. I am finding it difficult to believe you right now.” “I’m being honest.” He remarks. “I haven’t violated my parole before or since then. That was the one and only time I violated any of the terms of my parole.” “Still, by all rights you should be back in prison.” She states cooly. “That would be the right thing to do. Admit your guilt, turn yourself in, pay the price. That’s what responsible people do, Percy. They own up to their guilt and they pay the penalty.” “I know and you’re right, I should be back in prison because I did violate parole. But I swear to you, Marie, I have not done anything else wrong. I just had a few beers.” “And that’s what led to you getting mugged?” Marie asks. “Yeah…” he sighs “...I guess. But I swear that’s it, I swear.” Percy stands up. The Phoenix stares at him for a tense moment before approaching. She studies him carefully, trying to get a read on him. She still senses that there is something else there, something he is keeping hidden from her, something he is afraid to tell her. She knows that she should be more cautious, but she doesn’t want to give up on him. For a long time Percy Matthew had been the best thing to happen to her. And she does not want to risk losing another relationship if it perhaps could be salvaged. “Do you swear that this was really the only time you fucked up?” She says coldly. “Yes.” “Do you swear to never again do anything stupid like this again?” “I swear it.” Percy nods his head. “I swear that from now on I will stick to the straight and narrow. My life of crime is over. I really want to be a better person for you and for Sean.” Sean. Marie’s son. Sean loved Percy. Percy even taught him some basic self defense moves before Sean began his professional wrestling training in London at the Braddock Wrestling School. For all of his faults, Percy has been good to Marie’s son. She still feels as if letting him off the hook may be a mistake, but at the same time she strongly believes in second chances. “Fine.” She nods her head. “I won’t turn you in. I won’t tell the police, your probation officer, or anyone that you violated your parole.” “Thank you!” “But…you must promise to obey the rules from now on. Ok?” “Ok, I promise.” Percy and Marie embrace. Then they kiss. “I would do anything for you. I love you.” “I love you too, Percy.” The embrace was warm, but as Marie rested her chin against the stiff leather of Percy’s shoulder, her eyes drifted back to the flickering shadows on the wall, wide and unblinking. The heavy scent of rain and stale pavement clung to his jacket, a stark contrast to the delicate lavender and silk that surrounded them. She tightened her arms around him, desperately wanting the familiar rhythm of his heartbeat to drown out the persistent, quiet alarm blaring in the back of her mind. He was here, he was safe, and he had given her the answers she had demanded. Yet, as she pulled back slightly to look at the fading yellow bruise beneath his eye, the lingering intuition of a fighter told her that the match wasn't truly over. Percy offered a faint, relieved smile, the tension in his jaw loosening just enough to mask the exhaustion etched deep into his features. He murmured another quiet promise against her hair, but his hand still drifted back to his silver ring, twisting it once more out of pure, subconscious habit. He had survived the interrogation, buying himself a fragile reprieve, but the heavy secret he carried remained buried just beneath the surface, a ticking clock in the quiet luxury of the townhouse. Outside, a sudden gust of wind rattled the towering glass windows, breaking the brief stillness of the room. Marie forced herself to take a deep breath, smoothing down the midnight blue silk of her dress as she finally let the silence settle between them. She had chosen to believe him, to protect the fragile sanctuary of her family and the bond he shared with Sean. But as she looked toward the dark, empty hearth, she knew the upcoming battle in the SCW ring with Alistaire Allocco wouldn't be the only test of her resilience. The Phoenix had made her peace for tonight, but the shadows lingering in her home whispered that the past was far from finished with Percy Matthews. ![]() SWC Southern Heavyweight Champion 1x MWA Turmoil Champion 1x GCW World Champion 1x GCW World Tag Team Champion 1x UWA World Tag Team Champion 1x HKW Bloodlust Champion 3x 2022 SCW Trios Tournament Winner SCW World Tag Team Champion 1x SCW Underground Champion 7x SCW Television Champion 1x SCW United States Champion 1x SCW Adrenaline Champion 1x MWE Chicago Way Champion 1x 5LW Television Champion 1x 5LW Brass Knuckles Champion 2x 5LW World Tag Team Champion 1x ZION Hardcore Champion 1x VALIANT World Champion 1x VALIANT Chaos Champion 4x Queen of the Death Match ![]() SCW United States Champion 1x SCW Television Champion 2x SCW World Tag Team Champion 1x UWA World Champion 1x UWA X-Class Champion 1x UWA World Tag Team Champion 1x IWC World Tag Team Champion 1x MCW X-Division Champion 1x GDW International Champion 1x GDW World Tag Team Champion 3x

===== ========== June 30th, 2026 Boston, Massachusetts Off Camera ========== The damp, heavy heat of a Boston June had settled deep into the bones of the house, turning the living room into a stagnant pocket of humid air that smelled of old wood, cheap plaster, and the sharp, distinct tang of vinegar from Kimberly Williams’s recent batch of tactical hot sauce. The bare overhead lightbulb hung motionless from its frayed cord, casting a harsh, unforgiving glare over the warped floorboards and the peeling wallpaper that curled off the walls like dried birch bark. It was a room that completely defied the massive wealth of its owner, maintained in a state of deliberate, calculated squalor that made most visitors want to wipe their feet before they left. Marie Jones sat near the edge of the sunken tweed sofa, her posture rigid as she tried to minimize contact with the deeply stained fabric. She was the absolute picture of practical, feminine comfort, dressed in a soft, lavender linen button-down shirt with the sleeves neatly rolled to her elbows, paired with well-fitted khaki trousers and clean, white canvas sneakers. Directly across the room, leaning against a heavily dented metal filing cabinet with her arms crossed, was Kimberly. The physical resemblance between the two women was undeniable, they shared the exact same sharp jawline, the same high cheekbones, and the same striking eyes, but the presentation could not have been more polarized. Kimberly looked like she had just survived a prolonged siege in a remote swamp. She was wearing a shredded, faded black t-shirt that was missing an entire sleeve, tucked haphazardly into a pair of oversized, heavily stained woodland camouflage cargo pants. Her feet were clad in her signature, unlaced combat boots, which still bore dried crusts of mud from her backyard construction project. Resting precisely between them on the middle cushion of the sofa was Wasley the penguin. The oversized plush toy sat perfectly upright, his dense core of lead fishing weights causing the cushion beneath him to sag into a deep, permanent crater. He was still wearing the tiny, clip-on black bow tie from his trip to the real estate office, though it had spun around toward his left wing, giving the deadly, heavily weighted bird the look of a very drunk, very solid formal guest. His shiny black bead eyes stared straight ahead at the peeling wallpaper, serving as a silent, unblinking buffer between the sisters. Marie deliberately avoided looking at the penguin, well aware that picking him up without proper bracing could easily sprain an wrist. The tense silence of the room was punctuated by a sudden, violent scratching sound from the corner. Inside his sprawling plastic cage atop the filing cabinet, Caligula the hamster was throwing his entire golden-furred mass into his exercise wheel. Caligula was a creature of pure, concentrated malice, and today he was running with a frantic, rhythmic velocity that made the entire metal cabinet vibrate against the floorboards. The high-pitched, metallic squeak of the wheel served as a driving, chaotic soundtrack to the stand-off, the tiny rodent occasionally pausing to glare through the plastic bars with glinting, furious black eyes before launching himself back into his sprint. Marie let out a slow, controlled sigh, her eyes tracking a loose strand of wallpaper as it vibrated in time with the hamster's wheel. She shifted her weight on the groaning sofa cushions, looking from the lead-filled plushie beside her over to her twin sister, who was currently tracking a fly on the ceiling with the intense, unblinking focus of a sniper. “It’s unbelievable, Kim.” Marie shakes her head. “I thought I knew him but after all of this? I just don’t know anything anymore.” “Oh come now! You know several things!” Kim insists. “You know that you are facing Alistaire Allocco on Breakdown. You know CEO Franky Poo has taken a liking to you. You know that Angelica is our mother. You know that you are two championships away from Supreme Championship status. You know our next major event is Rise To Greatness. You know that Caligula is a hamster. You know…” “Kim!” “What?” “Slow down…” Marie sighs “...I know you’re trying to lighten the mood but this is serious. Percy just disappears, drops off the radar for what seems like forever. I’m worried sick about my boyfriend, his wealth and well being, or if he’s just dumped me. Only for you and I run across him outside of a bar, beaten half to death.” “You can even the score with him.” Kim states confidently. “You and Alistaire can beat each other half to death! See how Percy likes seeing his beloved beaten half to death!” “That’s not very helpful, Kimmy.” “Hey, at least I’m a good listener!” Kim winks playfully. “That you are.” The Phoenix sighs. “It’s just hard to trust him. He’s an ex-con, he spent time in prison. True, I knew that when I got into the relationship, but he didn’t appear to be a con artist. He didn’t appear manipulative. He seemed like he was honestly trying to turn his life around. But apparently he was drinking the night we found him.” “Oh…” Kim grins “...so he’s blaming the bottle for that predicament?” “Yeah.” Marie nods her head. “He says he was drunk and got mugged. But that doesn’t make sense. It seems to me like he’s hiding something, as if he’s not telling me the whole truth, and it’s driving me crazy.” “Well tell Dr. Kimmy this,” Kim begins “are you going to dump him?” “I don’t want to. I mean, I believe in second chances and yet, at the same time, I know he has been lying to me. I know he has been violating the terms of his parole. By all rights he should be in prison.” Marie shrugs her shoulders. “I’m not sure I can trust him.” “To be fair, I’ve done shit a lot worse than simply drinking and partying. Hell, I kidnapped you and stole your identity and you trust me.” “Once again, that’s what makes this decision so difficult. I want to give him a second chance because I believe in second chances. He swore to me that this was just an anomaly, one slip up, and that he would never break the rules again.” “So what are you gonna do?” Kim asks. “I don’t know.” Jones sighs. “What would you do?” “Me?” Kim snickers. “You’re seriously asking me for relationship advice?” “Yes.” Marie nods her head. “You seem to be happy all the time, I rarely see you bothered by anything. Maybe I do need to be more like you?” “Awwww I’m so touched!” Kim exclaims. “Finally the prude is coming out of her shell! Is that what the penguin outfit was about?” “Yes, I was trying to be more like you. I was trying to just enjoy myself AND win.” She sighs. “Unfortunately the WINNING part didn’t come. Hopefully that can change against Allocco.” “Well if you are serious about being more like me…” Kim grins nastily “...then my advice would be to murder him.” “No, absolutely not.” Marie shakes her head. “Oh calm down, I was talking about Percy.” Kim smirks. “Just maim Allocco. I think the CEO likes Allocco. Murdering someone he likes would put us on his naughty list and we are trying so desperately to get on his good list, right? Right!” “We’re not murdering or maiming anyone.” Marie shakes her head. “Especially not my boyfriend Percy.” “Well if you won’t take my advice then perhaps you need advice from a neutral third party.” “And who would that be?” Marie watches as her identical twin reaches into the hamster cage and gently pulls Caligula out of it. She holds Caligula up to Marie, grinning from ear to ear. “What’s this?” “This is Caligula.” Kim says. “You know him, silly! He is great at relationship advice.” “You have to be joking.” “Do I look like I’m joking?” Kim shakes her head. “Actually, don’t answer that. Just talk to the hamster. It’s what I do every single time I need advice.” “You’re being serious, aren’t you?” “Deadly.” Kim smirks. “If you want to be like me, forget reality. Just…do things! Talk to the hamster!” Marie stared at the fat, vibrating golden ball of fur cupped in her sister’s calloused palms. Caligula’s tiny pink nose twitched with frantic rage, his whiskers bristling as if he could sense the absolute absurdity of the moment. Marie rubbed her temples, looking from the hamster up to Kim’s wide, unblinking green eyes, completely exhausted by the sheer chaos that was her twin sister's daily existence. “Fine, Caligula, what do you think? Do I give Percy another chance?” “Are you out of your absolute, pea-sized mind, lady?” Kim barked as Caligula, her thumb subtly nudging the hamster’s belly to make his tiny paws flail. “Look at you! Sitting there in your pressed little country-club trousers, whining about some leather-jacketed greaseball who can’t even handle his liquor without getting his teeth kicked in! You’re a Jones, aren’t you? Or did they replace your spine with a wet noodle while you were out buying that lavender shirt?” “I’m just trying to look at the situation rationally, Caligula.” Marie is stunned that she is actually playing along with this game of arguing with a hamster. “He has a past, but he was good to Sean…” “Oh, spare me the waterworks, sweetheart!” Kim snapped back in the hamster's aggressive grunt, jerking Caligula forward as if the rodent were trying to physically intimidate Marie across the coffee table. “The guy is a parasite! He’s a beta male hiding behind a motorcycle engine, and you’re over here playing nursemaid to a guy who breaks parole for a few cheap draft beers. If a man can’t even run a scam without ending up face-down in a South Boston gutter, he doesn't belong in a high-class broad's house. You should have left him in the dirt where you found him, packed up his little biker toys, and found yourself a real man. Maybe a hamster, like me? Or better yet, just buy a bigger lock for your door and stop letting these pathetic, weeping losers drain your bank account!” “Hey!” Marie defended, a sharp flush of heat rising to her cheeks. “He’s not a loser, he just made a mistake. And watch your mouth!” “Watch my mouth? Look at this face, gorgeous, I don’t even have lips!” Kim sneered, tilting the hamster’s angry black eyes directly toward Marie's face. “You’re the one letting some ex-con dictate your life while you’ve got a match with Allocco coming up. You think Alistaire is going to care about your relationship status when he’s trying to break your neck on Breakdown? Get your head out of the clouds, put on your big-girl boots, and go break some ribs. Leave the bleeding-heart charity work for the church and charities, sister, because right now, you look pathetic. Now put me back in my wheel before I bite a chunk out of your fancy little finger!” ========== On Camera ========== We open to see “The Phoenix” Marie Jones posing in a dimly lit, modern interior room. She is lying lengthwise across a long, dark wooden table or countertop, supporting her head with one hand while extending her other arm toward the edge of the surface. Her legs are bent upward at the knees, with her feet crossed behind her. The Phoenix looks directly toward the camera with a calm, confident expression, her makeup emphasizing her eyes with dark eyeliner and mascara. Her shoulder-length red hair is styled in loose, softly tousled waves that frame her face. Marie is dressed in an elegant black dress with a fitted silhouette. The dress is sleeveless, exposing her shoulders and upper arms, and its simple, streamlined design gives it a sophisticated look. She completes the outfit with a pair of glossy black high-heeled pumps, which are visible as her feet are lifted behind her. The surroundings feature a contemporary room dominated by dark wood tones. The long wooden table has a rich grain pattern and occupies much of the foreground. Behind Marie are tall wooden columns and muted walls, creating an open, upscale atmosphere. A light-colored wooden bar stool sits beneath the table near the right side. The subdued lighting casts soft shadows throughout the room, drawing attention to Marie as the focal point while enhancing the warm, intimate ambiance of the space. “My, my, my, a lot has changed since I’ve been gone.” The Phoenix slowly swings around to where she is in a seated position facing the camera. She smirks confidently. “Last time I was here, we were run by CHBK. Now I admit, I was never quite sure if I could trust him, not after the whole Infamous fiasco from several years ago. But now I make my return and I see that it appears as if we’re running with the same song and dance, the same story yet again, just with a different cast of characters trying to run everything. Just like we had a power struggle back then between Katya and Sasha, now we have a power struggle between CHBK and CEO Frank; well, assuming that CHBK will be able to even come back from that beating he suffered.” Jones shakes her head. “Let me make one thing perfectly clear before I go any further; I echo my sister’s sentiments when I say that I want no part of this silly war. I do not want to involve myself in a power struggle. So Delatosso, I can speak for Twin Magic when I say that we are not interested in fighting any wars and we will not get in your way. Just like Kimmy has her goal, her prize of trying to recapture the SCW Underground Title, I have goals of my own. I am two championships shy of becoming a Supreme Champion. I just need the Adrenaline Title and the World Title. Ultimately that’s what I am here for. I am here to complete my mission. I am here to compete against the best SCW has to offer. Hell, if the opportune time were to present itself, maybe me and Kimmy could go after the tag titles again? But I absolutely refuse to get drawn into a cookie cutter power struggle like the one I was involved with years ago. I’m done with it, over it, bored with it.” “Now then, Taking Hold of the Flame…” she snickers “...Wasley had quite a showing, didn’t he? I hope you enjoyed my little stunt, because I sure as hell did! And really that was the point behind it. I had been running myself ragged trying to be the best damn professional wrestler in the world, trying to win as many championships and trinkets that I could, that I forgot why I got involved in the business in the first place. I didn’t get involved just because my mother was a wrestler. I could care less about a birthright or being a second generation star. I certainly never wanted anything handed to me. I got involved because I was passionate about this business. I genuinely enjoyed being a professional wrestler. I enjoyed entertaining the fans. So even though I did not win Taking Hold of the Flame, I still managed to remind myself of the pure joy of competing in the squared circle for the great fans of SCW.” She points a finger at the camera. “Which brings me to Alistaire Allocco.” She sighs. “I know I said I didn’t want to get dragged into this power struggle currently going on in SCW but considering you have clearly aligned yourself with our CEO, I get the sneaking suspicion that you might have some backup, that you might have some people watching your back on Breakdown. I hope not. I truly hope we can just have a good wrestling match. I meant what I said earlier, me and Kimmy have no interest in fighting The New Order. We have no interest in playing hero. We are not the enemy. But at the same time I am also not an idiot. I was not born yesterday. I know how things operate in professional wrestling, and especially here in SCW.” “No one is alone. No one is an island unto themselves. And you, Allocco, you will take any advantage you can. You just want the victory no matter how it comes.” Marie nods her head. “I know it, everyone knows it, and I will be prepared for whatever tricks or games you may have up your sleeve. Because this match is a very important match, not just for you but for me. It’s convenient, don’t you think, that both of us have made our grand returns to the SCW right around Rise To Greatness season and it just so happens that we are facing each other in our respective first singles match back? Losing that first match back would kill any momentum we had built.” She shakes her head. “I just can’t let that happen. I meant every single word I said before Taking Hold of the Flame; this isn’t some nostalgia run, I’m not just blowing smoke out of my ass. I am here to make an impact. I am here to win championships and to once again rise to the top just like the fabled Phoenix. I am here to prove that I am among the very best the Jones Wrestling Family has ever produced.” She smirks knowingly. “Delatosso is right, I am NOT my sister. I am NOT Kimmy. In fact, I am arguably more dangerous than her because with her you know she’s off her rocker, she is eccentric and deranged, and you know to expect chaos. But when you look into my eyes you are lulled into a false sense of security. You may look into my eyes and you don’t see the danger underneath. You look into my eyes and see someone nice, warm, someone who plays by the rules.” She sneers. “You and everyone else is about to learn that I can be a cold blooded killer inside the squared circle when necessary. And on Breakdown, considering I NEED this victory in order to maintain my momentum, considering I NEED this victory as I march towards Rise To Greatness, expect to face the cold blooded killer. Expect to go down in flames at the hands of The Phoenix.” ![]() SWC Southern Heavyweight Champion 1x MWA Turmoil Champion 1x GCW World Champion 1x GCW World Tag Team Champion 1x UWA World Tag Team Champion 1x HKW Bloodlust Champion 3x 2022 SCW Trios Tournament Winner SCW World Tag Team Champion 1x SCW Underground Champion 7x SCW Television Champion 1x SCW United States Champion 1x SCW Adrenaline Champion 1x MWE Chicago Way Champion 1x 5LW Television Champion 1x 5LW Brass Knuckles Champion 2x 5LW World Tag Team Champion 1x ZION Hardcore Champion 1x VALIANT World Champion 1x VALIANT Chaos Champion 4x Queen of the Death Match ![]() SCW United States Champion 1x SCW Television Champion 2x SCW World Tag Team Champion 1x UWA World Champion 1x UWA X-Class Champion 1x UWA World Tag Team Champion 1x IWC World Tag Team Champion 1x MCW X-Division Champion 1x GDW International Champion 1x GDW World Tag Team Champion 3x
