Katie Steward sits at a table in the kitchen of a home. She has the script for her movie Rift in Time on the table and also the novel of the story. She reads through the story and makes up little notes on the script for what she would like to do. So that her vision can come to life and to be taken seriously as a director. Since her and Gigi had lost the tag team championship at Rise to Greatness a few weeks ago. This has been her main focus and she has been really enjoying herself. She really likes working with her lead actress, Evelyn Sinclair. The two of them get along great. Katie really admired her as an actress. Now with Katie’s movie she gets to help bring her from the theater to the big screen. It all just makes Katie focus harder on her tasks.
Unlucky for Katie though, Evelyn isn’t just the co-star of the movie. The star that the studio signed for the movie is a problematic person. Honestly, if Katie is lucky enough to finish this movie, it’ll probably be her last one ever. It’s a political minefield she is walking with Drake Lanes’ social media activity. He’s just about pissing off every group that can be named. You’d ask why the studio would cast him in this blockbuster movie. This is supposed to be the project that his agent will show he’s matured and come to reason. That rehab helped him and the last few month break from social media cleared his head from the misinformation that he was reading. So it’s Katie’s job not only to direct this movie, but also to help the studio keep its lead on the straight and narrow.
You would think Katie was crazy to accept this deal. It’s no wonder so many director’s dropped out of doing the movie. Katie though can handle it. She’s been around SCW for 19 years. She can handle herself around the boys.
Someone is heard walking through the hallway outside of the dining room. Gina Pierce turns the corner and sees Katie sitting at her table.
“Katie, why are you sitting in my dining room alone?” Gina asks, wanting an answer to why Katie is at her place.
“Because it’s quieter over here and also I’m working. I’ve got a lot of great ideas that I’m sure are going to just wow everyone. The Audience, The studio, The crew…” Katie takes a breath trying to contain her excitement. “But also I wanted to talk to you and you’re finally here.”
Gina walks over to the dining room table and joins Katie sitting down in the chair next to hers. “I’m a little surprised that you’ll come to me for advice, but I’ll see what I can do. So I read "Rift in Time" and I was thinking about what you could do…”
Katie accidentally lets a little laugh slip as she listens to Gina start to tell her about her idea for the movie. Katie quickly interrupts her before Gina says something embarrassing. “Woah, Gina I didn’t mean advice for my movie. I mean no offense, but this is sort of my thing.”
Gina sits back in her seat. Fighting the urge to strangle her best friend. “I’m not going to babysit your star.”
“Come on. You knew how to handle Chad. How bad could this be?” Katie tries to reason with Gina just trying to get her to help on the set.
“Yeah, I knew how to deal with him. I know I also have experiences dealing with brat actors. It doesn’t mean I’m interested in doing that.”
Katie looks at Gina a little confused about the latter half of what she said. Then she realizes she’s referring to Katie. “Oh haha, you’re so funny.”
“I thought so.” Gina smiles back.
“Fine, you don’t want to help me. You don’t have to. I’ll just go and hang out with my new best friend.” Katie shakes her head while she collects her script, book and papers.
“I was going to help, but you didn’t want my ideas.” Gigi scoffs toward Katie. “Tell Gigi I said I hi.”
Katie smiles and shakes her head at Gina. “She’s not Gigi.” Katie stands up and starts to leave. “But, Gigi is going to be there so I’ll tell her.” … “Bye.”
Gina smiles and lets out a laugh. She says her bye and Katie is gone.
Katie walks across the parking lot with her gym bag over her shoulder. She walks to the gym in a fancier part of Southern California. Gigi, Maddy and Ash trail off behind her while Katie leads the way. Katie tries to hurry them along. Their yoga session is about to start at any minute. She looks back at the girls and sees Gigi on her phone. Scrolling through messages.
“G. Can you put the phone away and hurry? I don’t want to be late.” Katie is trying to urge her along.
“Seriously, you, late? Aren’t you the one that always says to make a fashionable entrance?” Gigi scoffs at Katie's requests. Katie just ignores her. “You can also go on ahead without us. I’m not going to the yoga class. If you need me to talk about your new female crush I’ll be over by the weights. Also did hear from Sasha and SCW should be announcing the TRIOS teams soon. So I’m kind of busy here.”
“It’s not a crush.” Katie gets defensive. “I just admire her. She’s had some amazing performances on stage that people rave over. My Goddess, I’m so excited.”
“Woah, TRIOS is getting announced?” Maddy leans into Gigi taking a peak at her phone trying to get a glimpse of the teams.
“Nothing has been announced yet, but it should be soon.”
The Steward girls walk into the gym. Katie looks around and sees Evelyn Sinclair in the yoga class getting ready. Keeping herself fit for the movie. Katie does a goofy wave towards her.
“Such a fangirl.” Gigi laughs with Maddy and Ash.
“Shut up. I was just saying hi. Nothing is wrong with how I wave. Go do your thing.” Katie brushes off the girl's snickers and walks away to join the yoga class.
Gigi, Maddy and Ash make their way over to the weights. So Gigi can get herself ready for whatever TRIOS has in store for her. She passes her phone to Maddy to keep tabs for the news to be posted and Ash wanders off to get them some water.
“So who do you think you’ll get for TRIOS? And what are you going to do? The tag title was nice, I want to see what free stuff I could get with maybe the United States Title. Actually no, we wouldn’t want to wander into a GOP rally or something. How about the World Title? This is so exciting.” Maddy claps her hands together thrilled. She sits on a nearby bench and acts as Gigi’s spotter.
Gigi nods. “You’re right. That is definitely something to be very concerned about with the US title. I wonder how Deanna handles it.”
“Or Maybe she embraces it?” Maddy being her brattiest devil’s advocate just questions it and Gigi just feels the most uncomfortable.
“Yeah, I don’t believe she does.” Gigi shaking her head distinctively.
Maddy just shrugs it off.
“Seriously Madz, I’m going to make this TRIOS work for me. I got Katie to the finish line of her quest and cemented her legacy. Now this is the universe giving me a chance to pursue my quest for gold of my own. It’s happening.” Gigi is fueled with adrenaline right now. Pushing herself through her workout.
“You’re so right, G. You’ve definitely earned this.” Maddy nods along in approval.
Ash returns with a few bottles of water for them and hands them to Maddy and joins her on the bench. “I got some flavored water from the nice guys over at the snack bar for us.”
Maddy turns and looks at the guy standing by the snack bar. Still checking out Ash with his tongue hanging out. “Uh, that’s a gym creeper. Maybe being a Goddess has some drawbacks.”
“But he was so nice. We got flavored water.” Ash twists the cap on her bottle and goes to take a drink.
Gigi’s phone buzzes with an alert in Maddy’s hand. Maddy sits up and looks at the lock screen of a picture of Gigi, Maddy and Ash together.
“What’s that?” Ash asks curiously, trying to peek at the phone.
“TRIOS teams were just announced and Gigi is going to find out who her partners are.” Maddy puts in Gigi’s passcode to check the teams for Gigi.
“That sounds pretty cool. Who’s on Katie and Gigi’s team?”
“Yeah that’ll be pretty cool, but the teams are random. So they might not be on the same team. I’m pretty sure also SCW uses balls. A lot of balls. In a big tumbler to draw the names. So we should probably pray that the balls are kind.” Maddy bows her head a little and has Ash do the same. She pulls the teams up and scrolls through them then lets out a troubling “Oh.”
“What? What happened? Did Gigi get put on a bad team?” Ash grabs Maddy’s hand and turns the phone to her and looks like the team. Ash’s face lights up seeing Katie’s name there. “Hey Katie made a team.” Ash’s smile doesn’t last long as she notices the same thing Maddy did. Gigi’s name isn’t shown. She too lets out a troubling, “Oh.”
Gigi walks over to the girls and grabs a towel from her bag to wipe the sweat off her. She looks at them noticing them suspiciously quiet.
“Why do you have my phone?”
“G, I was just going to tell you the news when it broke.” Maddy tries to explain handing the phone to Gigi, but she doesn’t let go.
“I’m sorry, Gigi.” Ash adds. Gigi looks at both of them. The wheels turned in her head. Suddenly it became clear why they’re so quiet. She pulls on the phone hard enough to break Maddy’s grip. Scrolling through the announced teams and Gigi just lets out a quiet sigh. She puts her phone back in her bag with her towel.
“G, we can fix this. Maybe call Sasha?” Maddy stands up trying to talk to her.
“Maddy, it’s ok. I’m not in TRIOS. I’m not in a lot of TRIOS. I’m used to it. I just have to work harder.”
“We tried Gigi. We were praying for the balls to be in your favor.” Ash adds trying to be helpful.
“What is she talking about?” Gigi questions Maddy.
“I don’t know. She has a gym creeper watching her. If you want you could probably take care of him. Let some of that rage out. You know.” Maddy nudges Gigi along hoping that she’ll bite.
“Thanks, but I think I’ll pass. Well, unless he gets too close, but I’ll still pass.” Of course Gigi would take a high road. As much as it stings, she still needs some time to contemplate over some things.
The yoga class ends and Katie walks out with Evelyn Sinclair and the two laugh, seemingly having a good time together.
“Wow, that was really fun. I’m glad you could join us for yoga today.” Evelyn says to Katie. A smile on her face.
“Thank you. I love yoga. It’s really good and helps clear my head. I have so much in there. So much creativity. It’s probably why they chose me for the director job.” Katie can’t help giggling with such glee being around Evelyn.
“I thought you weren’t the first pick for the movie.” Evelyn replies.
“It doesn’t matter if I wasn’t first, second or twentieth choice. I’m going to prove myself to the world and we’re going to make a great movie.” Katie takes a breath. Not letting the studio get to her.
“I look forward to it. See you next time we’re shooting.” Evelyn smiles at Katie before she turns and heads out of the gym.
Katie again does a goofy wave to Evelyn as she says bye to her. Evelyn disappears out of the door and Katie turns to her hand and notices what her hand is doing. She closes her hand making a fist and brings it down back to her side.
“What are you doing? Oh Goddess, Gigi was right about me.”
Katie reunites with Gigi, Maddy and Ash in the gym. They’re all ready to leave.
“Did everyone have a good workout?” Katie asked.
“Yeah. I got a lot of shit out this run.” Gigi nods, walking past Katie and heading out of the gym. She seems to be in a huffy puffy mood that throws Katie off.
“She just needs a little time. Don’t worry, I'll talk to her.” Maddy runs up to Katie, but her explanation doesn’t help make Katie understand.
Ash follows behind them and turns to Katie. “Good luck on the TRIOS thing Katie. I hope the balls are in your favor.”
What?
Katie is left standing alone in the gym. The girls have headed out and back to the car. What even happened while she was in the yoga class? Wait, Katie is in the TRIOS tournament?
Katie shows up to an apartment in Los Angeles. She carries a plastic bag of take out food and orange soda. She takes an elevator to the top floor. The elevator doors open leading Katie to an apartment. She knocks on the door for TJ Johnson to open it.
“Hey, we have a lot to talk about. So I brought some dinner… and some orange soda.” Katie holds the plastic bag up showing it off to TJ.
“Well in that case I guess I have to let you in.” TJ smiles holding the door open for her.
Katie walks inside of TJ’s man cave. It is actually what you’d expect it to look like.
“So I heard you got the director's gig. Congrats.”
“Yes. It's a very exciting experience and I can’t wait to put the whole thing together. While also solving problems behind the scenes. You wouldn’t be interested in taking a job as a personal security guard, would you?” Katie flashes an innocent smile trying to butter TJ up to say he’d do it.
“I don’t think so. I’ve seen Drake Lane’s social media posts. The boy is crazy.” TJ doesn’t fall for Katie’s trap.
Immediately just shaking his head.
“Well it didn’t hurt to try. Anyways, I got the director’s job. My Church burned. Gigi and I lost the tag team titles. Now I’m in TRIOS. So I’ve got everything going all at once right now.” Katie rubs her head trying to feel if it’s about to explode.
Katie and TJ spent the next hour talking about what they’ve been doing the last month. Katie on her movie and church. TJ on whatever dorky thing just came out on a streaming service. Then TJ changes the subject to something else.
“So, The TRIOS tournament…”
“Oh yes, TRIOS.” Katie giggles. “What could I say about it? I mean what do you get for the girl who has done it all? Do I let Light in the Darkness off the hook for taking the title away from Gigi and I? Or could I become a two time SCW World Champion and this time have a more epic reign than the last after being cut down so, so short. Even just doing it immediately after we win the tournament. Hudson wouldn’t even see it coming. Oh that is just a brilliant idea. I’m just so filled with creativity. It’s screaming to come out.”
“The TRIOS contract is for any kind of match I want. It’s been me sitting in the director’s chair and calling the shot to whatever I want. It’s my creative freedom that I get to show the world just how amazing I really am. Oh I won’t be anyone’s last pick to direct anything again. I will be able to choose anything I want. Oh what, Disney needs Star Wars saving? Phrase 6? What about Warner Bros… ok, maybe that one is beyond saving. You know what I mean. Katie Steward is going to really take the business to the next level.”
“Oh my Goddess, TJ. I’m amazing. You know what, Josh Hudson and Blake Mason are very lucky to have me. There is no one else they could’ve ended up with that has my vision”
“You’re definitely one of a kind.” TJ adds. He nods his head agreeing with her.
“I know. It looks so easy too. I’m on a team with the SCW Champion and returning Blake Mason. The three of us are one of the heavy favorites to go all the way. Could it truly be that easy?” Katie laughs. “For me a TRIOS win could mean endless possibilities of causing just mass amounts of chaos. Chaos that are so much fun and miserable to everyone else. You know, kind of like my last TRIOS win. That though is not the story we’re going to tell. This is a story of second chances. A second to redo past mistakes. I’m different now. Smarter. Experienced. Grown. I know it’s not going to be an easy win. My partners might be good. The lure of the TRIOS contract is a powerful aphrodisiac. So of course the boys are going to want it. Knowing them it’ll fuel whatever personal vendetta they have. So feeble minded. Which again is why they are just so very lucky to have me and not someone else on their team. Cause without me, they’ll never see the bigger picture. Only Katie Steward can sit in the director’s seat.”
SCW has come to Boise, and we find ourselves in the stands of the ExtraMile Arena. Down below, we can see the techs and ring crew hard at work getting everything set up for the Breakdown that will see the start of the 2024 Trios Tournament. As we pan around, taking it all in, we notice someone sitting up in the stands not too far from where we are. Amelia Blythe, already dressed in her gear, has her eyes locked down on the ring as its being assembled for the coming night of action, a fire burning in her gaze. There's no sign of her championship belt, but she knows it's not a point of focus for tonight, at the very least. Instead, she leans forward, looking rather deep in thought as we move closer to her.
“Early on in 2023, I found myself holding gold, being able to call myself the SCW Television Champion. It was the first time that either member of The Light In The Darkness could call ourselves champions in any sense of the word since we arrived in SCW, and it got people talking. Maybe some of you out there don't put that particular title on too high of a pedestal compared to the others, and that's your prerogative. But for me? That night felt like a sign of things to come if I just kept pushing myself, not just for me, but the kind of spark that could open the door for my partner to join me in trying to blaze our own trails in this company.
A few months later, around the time of Taking Hold of the Flame, I found myself reaching the finals of a tournament for the then-vacant United States Championship. While I will continue to hate how my first round match with James Evans panned out in that tournament, there is no arguing that I did truly earn my place in the finals when I managed to defeat the current champion, Deanna Frost. I believe I'm the only person aside from Asher Hayes over the course of the past year who can claim to have truly been able to best Deanna one-on-one. Again, people sat up and took notice, whispering of what I was capable of... and I, perhaps foolishly to some of you, chose to focus more on the whispers about how I seemed to be destined for a bright future while my partner was struggling to find her footing, the suggestions that maybe I would leave her in the dust and forge ahead on my own.
Here we are, a year later, and to some degree those questions have either been flipped or altered entirely. Luz managed to achieve her own run with the Television Championship, a run that I will fully admit put mine to shame. Together, we now call ourselves three-time World Tag Team Champions, and it can be argued that we might be the greatest tag team in SCW today. But on our own? People have seen how much better Luz's singles record looks compared to mine, thinking that maybe she's the one destined for bigger things while I've lost my way. If not that, then the both of us have found ourselves being viewed as just 'tag team specialists' and not much else.
That raises the question... what happened to Amelia Blythe?”
Amelia looks annoyed as she puts a voice to that question, taking a moment to crack her wrists as she seems to ponder it before she slowly rises to a stand, her determination shining through as she stares directly at us.
“I'm going to tell you right now: nothing happened to me. I'm still the same woman who walked into this company what feels like so very long ago now alongside La Pequeña Luz, ready to fight with everything I have and prove myself no matter what form that took. Yes, maybe I haven't proven myself on my own as much as some of you probably want to see, but it doesn't matter whether or not my accomplishments are entirely my own or are shared with the woman I love, I have proven exactly what I'm capable of time and time again whenever I step into that ring, no matter the kind of match. I have gone toe-to-toe with some of the very best SCW has to offer, and if I haven't been able to best them in the ring just yet... well, I'm humble enough to admit that I have more work to do. You could have all the natural talent in the world, but if you aren't willing to put in the work to build upon it, then you'll find yourself constantly hitting that glass ceiling, unable to break through it as it waits there for you to well and truly earn it.
This Breakdown, right here in Boise, Idaho... this is my chance to prove exactly what I'm capable of, even without Luz. This is my opportunity to try and prove that I've worked hard enough to shatter that glass ceiling on my own, just as I've done with Luz by my side so many times already.
Maybe you think that sounds ridiculous. After all, I'm not truly alone in this endeavor. But that's the beauty of the Trios Tournament. Every team was drawn at random, and I'm well aware that not only am I not teaming with Luz, but she's on the opposite side of the bracket from me. That said, I may not truly be alone in this endeavor, but anyone who's started to believe that I'm no longer able to accomplish anything unless it's with Luz by my side in a tag team match will have a front row seat to see me prove them wrong. After all, these aren't wrestlers I'm used to teaming with, I won't have that seamless synchronized flow that The Light In The Darkness just gets into so easily. Here, I have only my tag team knowledge and my own talents to help contribute to what will hopefully be a very strong run, ideally ending with me being able to walk away from this with a contract that affords me a luxury unlike any other.
And if it just so happens that I have to go through Luz and her team to make it happen... well, mon amour, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it.”
Amelia softly smiles to us, but it's not hard to tell that something is running through her mind. She can hear Xander's voice echoing through her thoughts, asking that all-important question that she knew would come up at some point during this tournament. He had asked her, point blank, during one of the few times they'd trained together heading into this Breakdown if she would be able to treat Luz like she would any other opponent if that match happened to fall into place. She knew her answer, she'd known it every single time it had been asked over the years when this scenario was at play, but she wasn't going to address it just yet. That was a matter best saved for if and when it became a reality.
“I'm going to be honest, I'm hopeful about my team's chances for this tournament. Not only because of what I know I'm capable of and am more than ready to prove to all of you all over again, but because of what my partners bring to the table. After all, what can be said about Xander Valentine that hasn't already been said about him? He's a legend in this business, he's proven himself several times over at this point, and as of two weeks ago I can now personally attest to the drive and passion he still has for this business. Xander, you have no idea how much it means to me to hear someone of your caliber believe in me, to have that respect reinforced now that we've shown each other what we can do and how far we'll fight to earn our rewards. You know exactly what you want, and you know that a Trios contract could be exactly what you need to make it happen. You've done it before, after all, and I would be honored to help you do it again.
While Xander is highly regarded and rightfully feared for a reason... I'm sorry, I don't know if I can completely say the same about our other partner. Billy Heaven Jr, the son of the man who brought together a new group looking to scorch the earth of SCW, and a man who is... unique, I suppose. I can't really say too much about what Billy is capable of from an in-ring standpoint, especially since training is one thing and making it come together when it really counts is a different story entirely. I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt, however... maybe that's foolish of me to do, but there does exist a world where I perhaps could have had a similar attitude to Billy's had someone not extended the olive branch to me and shown me that it's possible to be the kind of wrestler and person I truly wish to be. I'm willing to believe in Billy to be able to hold his own and help Xander and I make this work.
That said Billy, I'm going to give you one warning right now, and only one... if you're going to tag me, I'm asking nicely that you keep it clean. If your hand wanders somewhere it's not supposed to just so you can enter the match, I will not hesitate to break every single finger on that hand to make sure you get that through your head. Understood?”
It's an uncharacteristic warning to come from Amelia, but her tone carries hints of a frustration that's maybe best left untouched at the moment. As she takes a deep breath to refocus herself, Amelia sits back down in her seat, turning her attention back to the ring as it really comes together, knowing that she has a chance to prove so much between those ropes here tonight.
“The road to a Trios contract will not be easy, that I know for sure. And it all starts with a tough first round match. Blake Mason, Katie Steward, and Josh Hudson... to anyone else, perhaps that kind of challenge would be daunting. After all, Katie has earned her place in SCW's Hall of Fame, Blake is as dangerous and conniving as they come, and Josh... well, he's the reigning World Champion for a reason.
Out of the three of them, Katie is the only one I can say I know all too well at this point. I wouldn't be surprised if you're chomping at the bit from seeing my name on the team opposite yours Katie. Several times over the course of the past year, you and Gigi and crossed paths with The Light In The Darkness and fallen short despite your best efforts. Shortly after Taking Hold of the Flame, however.l.. well, Luz and I asked you both to step up and prove to us how badly you wanted to end our run as World Tag Team Champions, and you both delivered. You became a Supreme Champion at our expense... I'm going to be painfully honest, regaining the gold from the two of you at Rise to Greatness hasn't washed that bitter taste out of my mouth. Thankfully, the point of asking for that match to be elimination rules was to have a definitive winner, and while you could go the same route that Twisted & Sadistic did, the fact of the matter is that you were pinned on that night Katie, even if it wasn't by our hand. Luz and I weren't even legal at that point and had no reason to intervene, so you have no one to blame but yourself for how you and Gigi were eliminated.
If that's not enough, though... if you want to use this as your opportunity to get some payback, maybe even seek to win that Trios contract to step up and challenge for tag team gold one more time, then I want you to give me your best shot. I want you to prove that the Katie Steward I saw on that fateful Breakdown in Miami, Florida wasn't a one-time thing motivated solely by your quest to become a Supreme Champion. I want you to show me what made you a Hall of Famer... because that's how I'm going to keep stepping up my own game and proving that I'm just as dangerous on my own as I am with the woman I love fighting by my side.
Then, of course, there's Blake Mason... Blake, I vaguely remember you from when I first came to SCW before injuries unfortunately derailed everything for me, and the man I'm seeing now isn't quite the same man I remember from that point in time. I suppose you'll take that as a compliment because you want people to once again see you as the Blake Mason who will confidently step up and call his shot because he knows what he wants and will not let anyone stand in his way of getting it. You made it perfectly clear: in a few weeks, Breakdown will be coming to your hometown of Boston and you are determined to be the World Champion by the end of that show. It's why you went out of your way to attack the World Champion to announce your return, why you want that Trios contract to secure your ambition.
It's a bold move Blake... I just have to wonder if you truly thought everything through. After all, ignoring everything else in the works outside of Trios, both of your partners will also have their own contracts to use as they see fit should you win. Who's to say Katie won't try to cut in on your World Title plans like she did with the World Tag Title picture? Or that Josh won't use his to deny you what you want as karma for attacking him? And that, of course, is assuming your team even wins, and I'm going to make something clear to you right now Blake: for as nice and respectful as I am, I don't plan on letting my teammates down for even a second, so assuming you and Josh are able to put that whole incident aside and work together, know that if you want everything to fall into place exactly the way you want it... I'm going to make you earn it, fair and square, inside that ring.
And then there's Josh Hudson...”
Amelia pauses for a moment, collecting her thoughts as she turns to lock eyes with us again, knowing how much weight that particular name carries at this moment in time.
“Josh Hudson, the reigning SCW World Champion... I'd be lying if I said I didn't think that, in and of itself, would be a daunting task. You fought tooth and nail to earn that title at Rise to Greatness Josh, and I'd be blind if I didn't acknowledge that for everything I'm capable of as an in-ring technician, your experience certainly gives you one heck of an edge over me in that department. Even still, I threw everything I had at Xander two weeks ago to earn his respect, and I plan on earning yours as well, regardless of the end result. You've acknowledged that both Luz and I could very well be ready to break into the upper echelon, but this is my chance to know for sure how ready I am, how well I match up with a legend of your caliber, knowing that depending on how the cards all fall, there could come a time where I maybe find myself challenging you for that very title. I want to treat this encounter as exactly that: a test, to see how far I've come and how much farther I still have to go. I'm not going to shy away from locking up with a grappler of your skill and experience Josh, I'm going to use everything in my arsenal to make you take notice of exactly who I am.
Maybe the time where I can call myself a World Champion in SCW is still very far off, but I'm sure you of all wrestlers know that you miss 100% of the shots you don't take, and I owe it to those fans, my teammates, and most importantly, to myself, to give you the fight I know you want from me so you, just like Xander, can know exactly what I want each and every SCW fan to truly remember once the dust settles on this year's Trios Tournament:
Amelia Blythe is the real deal, and I'm going to show the world that for as great as I am teaming with Luz... my star is just as bright when I'm fighting on my own.”
With that, Amelia stands up and takes one last look down at the ring, visualizing how things may go later tonight come Breakdown. It's not going to be an easy vision to make into a reality, but Amelia knows she's not truly alone in this endeavor, and no matter what happens, she's determined to prove herself and make her mark, no matter what.
