Aaron Blackbourne & Liane Forte vs. Red Empire
#2
Maybe it comes as no surprise at this point that we open up on a red-colored room, but sometimes consistency matters when you try to base a good part of your identity around something. The room in question is barely furnished, as beyond the lighting the only other things present are a red metal folding chair and a large changing screen. Through the screen we can see the shadow of a very curvy female figure, and it's not hard to guess her identity considering the chair is occupied by Ruby Amarant, who has the chair turned around so she can relax her arms on the backrest. She's doing a very good job at ignoring what's going on beside her, only focusing on the amused smirk she's presenting to us and the task at hand, in true Ruby fashion.

Amarant: Isn't this quite the state of affairs in SCW as of late? The boss is recovering from mental trauma not caused by the sheer incompetence of the vast majority of the people employed by him and his children are left fighting over the steering wheel for his precious ship. On one hand you have Katya, and while I may not agree with the fact that someone whose been thoroughly beaten and embarrassed by the Red Empire twice now is getting rewarded for it, I have enough respect for the tactic to know exactly how that's going to end and I can't help but admire the way she's been setting the stage for the new year. After all, she sees the value in allowing Scarlet a little freedom to be herself when she really needs it, and she understands that someone shouldn't be punished because in the heat of the moment they didn't think about legal paperwork no one really likes to bother with. On the other hand, you have Sasha trying to fix Katya's 'mistakes,' including believing that what she's done here is the ultimate punishment.

Amarant: I hate to say it Sasha, but maybe next time you should let your sister show you how to do it right.

Amarant: For months now, you've all witnessed the story of a woman who returned to SCW and only wanted the attention and affection of one man, who turned her down every step of the way. Now, most people have claimed that Scarlet is the villain of this story because she's this horrible person trying to put an end to 'true love,' but that just shows us how little you all get it. If anything, Scarlet is the hero for following her heart all this way even in the face of the world telling her no and these unnecessary assaults by a woman who has no business being in front of an SCW camera in the first place, but I don't expect any of you to get that. Coming from a bunch of peons that complain about old holiday cartoons that don't age well, which is about as pathetic as a certain 'top level pure wrestler' having a temper tantrum over perfectly legal holds making him feel as unclean as the truth of his precious god not actually existing, your voices are irrelevant in the face of a force that has played their cards perfectly all this time and will soon enter 2019 on the verge of being the single most dominant force in SCW history.

A chuckle comes from the woman behind the screen, but Ruby lets it slide. After all, sometimes the only way to get your point across is to bring people up to speed before revealing your hand. Scarlet could do all the showing, and Ruby would happily stick to the telling for the time being.

Amarant: You all likely think this story is pretty cut and dry from here, right? On Breakdown, Aaron and Liane are going to parade down to the ring and teach the big bad Red Empire a lesson because we dared to tear apart their relationship. Except... that won't be what happens. You're all so caught up in this fairy tale that you fail to realize this match for what it truly is: a glorified handicap match. For as much as he wants to deride Katya for doing what's truly best for business by letting Scarlet have her fun, Aaron is truly as delusional as all of his self-made characters if he thinks Sasha truly gave him the answer to all his problems. Sure, he's a former two time tv champion, but he's still just one man going up against two of the most intelligent-

Grey: Don't forget sexiest!

Amarant: -women to ever grace SCW's roster.

Grey: It doesn't matter if you're little boy Owen, stuck up snow bitch Selena, old hag Amy whose pretending to be a carbon copy of me in order to have her fountain of youth, or even the world champion who still doesn't measure up to what each of us has to flaunt and deep down she knows it but won't admit it out of pure jealousy. The fact of the matter is one person alone cannot beat the two of us together, especially not when Aaron's spent so long trying to forget about our 'games' that he basically gave us exactly what we wanted.

Amarant: Even if we don't beat him directly, the record books will still show that we put down a former champion.

Grey: And he'll have no choice but to realize plain little Liane let him down and finally come join a real woman with so much more to offer him.

As if to prove her point, the silhouette finally saunters out from behind the changing screen to properly reveal herself as Scarlet Grey. That said... most of us don't actually see too much of Scarlet because if the large amount of pixellation doesn't make it obvious, she's decided this is a perfect opportunity to throw SCW's concerns out the window in favor of standing before their audience “in all her glory.” Even Ruby can't help but shoot her partner an annoyed glance.

Amarant: Really Scarlet? You do realize they're never going to actually see you to believe you.

Grey: Chill Rubes. If anything, I'll make sure Aaron gets a copy. That way, he knows what's waiting for him when he leaves that pathetic sucker punching bitch for the woman who is always at the front of the minds of every man and woman regardless of their sexual orientation. Hell, after the PPV even Jonny boy fantasizes about me to get him through a session with that Street whats-her-face nobody ever cared about.

Amarant: Perhaps we should focus more on the task at hand before worrying about the rest of the locker room that will inevitably bow their heads before us?

Grey: Gladly, because while I can easily stand here all day and make it clear why just about every award SCW could give out in a few weeks to close out the year only properly belongs to the Red Empire in some capacity, the best way to end this year for us is by leaving Breakdown with a hot man and his imaginationland draped over my arm, accepting that despite his prior title wins he's no match for what we have to offer, and a clown left in tears. Newsflash Liane: you're not a wrestler. You're a little girl pretending to be a grown woman about to go up against SCW's only true goddesses, and the only reason you can claim any sort of victory over me is because of underhanded bullshit. After all, you punched me right before I was about to show Aaron the excitement of a real kiss from the most real woman alive today, you clearly paid off every drunk loser that you expect to find in a dump like Boston to ALMOST beat me because you knew you never stood a chance in that... thing you called a bikini, and then you go and deny Aaron some sweet dessert that was going to be the highlight of a lovely evening. You're not ready for what you're walking into, but don't worry. I promise that Aaron will have the time of his life getting acquainted with all of this before joining Ruby and I in being the most reliable wrecking crew Katya could ever hope to have backing her. Maybe I can even help make her job easier in a few other ways as well as a phase two of-

Amarant: Aaron, I would highly advise you to do the right thing here. You know you're going to lose, which considering where Breakdown is disgracing itself by being in its final airing of the year shouldn't come as that much of a surprise to people used to having their hopes and dreams mocked and destroyed. If you come to your senses and give Scarlet the real chance she's been asking for, then at least you're making the best possible decision for your career, especially since all this talk against the new boss is only going to cost you in the long run and you know it. Maybe we'll even be nice and spare Liane a little bit to show we're not as bad as you think we are.

Grey: Screw that, I'm going to mangle her unfunny ass.

Amarant: If you refuse one last time... well, at least maybe Owen can say it was nice knowing you as he watches you be carted away on a stretcher for daring to stand against us.

Grey: That's Ruby talking. I have no reason to hurt you Aaron. After all, I know you'll do the right thing, and when 2018 comes to a close we'll seal the deal of the creative demon and the sex goddess in a way that will open the door for 2019 to either be the year of the Red Empire, or the year of SCW's undoing. Don't lie, you're all thinking about it now and getting jealous at what we all know is going to happen.

Scarlet's grin is one of pure confidence that only she can pull off properly, though it disappears when we can assume she turns around, but because of the censorship we can't fully figure out the reason for it. Ruby at least looks confident, though a bit off-put by her partner's antics. As long as they stand tall at the end of the night though, one way or another the Red Empire will end 2018 on a high note that give them everything they deserve heading into the new year.
