Glory Braddock took the earliest flight out of Australia so she could have some time home to rest, to be with her family, and to relax ahead of Breakdown and a match against Xander Valentine that is very, oh so deeply important to her. Braddock looks back on their first, and still only, one on one encounter with shame. She was not happy with how she competed that evening, she knows she could have performed better but did not. Braddock also was not happy that the match was stopped. The official for the match insisted that she could not continue but Braddock believes in her heart of hearts that she could have kept fighting. This time, this rematch from years ago, she wants it to be different. The British Bombshell desperately wants to win it but even if she doesn’t win, at the very least she wants to give Xander a good fight, she wants to put up the kind of fight she knows that she did not put up in their last encounter. Beyond that, defeating Xander Valentine, who is currently the number one contender to the SCW World Title, would give Glory Braddock a ton of momentum heading into Rise To Greatness season. Momentum is precisely what she needs if she wants to pull off a double whammy of not only winning back the World Tag Titles with Brittany Lohan but also winning Taking Hold of the Flame and ensuring a shot at the SCW World Title in the main event of Rise To Greatness.
Currently The British Bombshell’s in-ring goals are the furthest things from her mind. Yes, she does want to rest and relax with her family, but with that also brings distractions and one such unexpected distraction was the arrival of Katherine Precott, the sister of Kurt Logan which makes her Glory Braddock’s sister-in-law. In recent weeks Glory Braddock has seemed to feel that it is her duty, maybe even an obligation, to try and help repair the broken relationship Kurt has with his own family. The British Bombshell looks at her own family, how she has a sometimes distant relationship with her sister, how her parents Glenn Braddock and Maria Kurinsky passed away before she could really learn to appreciate them, she looks at that with regret and does not wish that upon her husband. She knows that Katherine is still alive and had hoped that at least she could repair that broken relationship. The fact that Katherine has now shown up on the doorstep of their Miami, Florida home is a promising start to that goal. But repairing the broken relationship between Kurt and his parents may be impossible. His and Katherine’s father is dead and their mother? Well, that remains to be seen. Glory had hoped Katherine might have answers but she has yet to say anything.
The British Bombshell is in the kitchen with three glasses setting on a silver tray. She has glass of her finest red wine, pouring the alcoholic beverage into the glasses. Glory Braddock is a striking blonde woman, her hair cascading in soft, golden waves that shimmer under the sunlight. She stands tall with an air of confidence and grace, her posture straight and elegant. Her eyes, a captivating shade of blue, seem to hold a spark of determination and warmth.
On this particular day, Glory is wearing a pink sundress that complements her radiant complexion. The dress is a vibrant hue, somewhere between a soft pastel and a more vivid rosy pink, and it flows gently around her knees, swaying with her every step. The fabric is light and airy, perfect for the warm weather, with a subtle floral pattern that adds a touch of whimsy and femininity. Thin straps rest delicately on her shoulders, leading to a fitted bodice that accentuates her slim waist before flaring out into a more relaxed, flowing skirt.
Her accessories are simple yet elegant: a pair of gold hoop earrings that catch the light whenever she turns her head, and a delicate gold bracelet on her wrist that glimmers subtly. She wears strappy sandals that reveal her perfectly manicured toes, painted a soft pink to match her dress. Over one shoulder, she carries a light, woven bag, the kind that's perfect for a casual outing or a day at the beach.
Glory's makeup is natural and understated, highlighting her features without overpowering them. A touch of mascara accentuates her long lashes, a hint of blush brings out the natural color in her cheeks, and a soft pink lip gloss gives her lips a slight sheen.
Overall, Glory Braddock exudes a sense of effortless beauty and poise, her pink sundress perfectly reflecting her vibrant and sunny personality. She is the kind of woman who turns heads wherever she goes, not just because of her looks, but because of the confident and approachable aura she radiates. She is wearing a pink sundress that complements her radiant complexion. Braddock wears strappy sandals that reveal her perfectly manicured toes, painted a soft pink to match her dress. When she finishes pouring the drinks, Glory turns to catch a glimpse of her husband Kurt and his sister Katherine in the living room, enjoying the company of Dawn Logan, Glory and Kurt’s daughter. She cannot help but smile at this scene. She wasn’t sure how Kurt would react to his sister showing up but it turns out that he seems to be enjoying himself. Katherine, for her part, enjoys getting to know the niece she never knew she had. Helping put this broken family back together brings warmth into Glory’s heart, a warmth she hasn’t felt in a long time.
Glory notices Dawn running out of the room. Presumably upstairs. She takes this opportunity to put the drinks on the silver tray and bring it into the living room where Kurt and Katherine are waiting. Katherine looks up and grins. “Talk about service!” She grabs one of the drinks. Kurt then takes one. Glory takes the final one and sets the tray down.
“The service is nice but I prefer the server…” Kurt kisses Glory on the lips when she sits down next to him on the sofa.
“The feeling is mutual, love.” Glory remarks.
“Thank you for making this happen, Glory.” Katherine states cheerfully. “I missed my big bro.”
“I missed you too, sis.” Kurt answers back.
“But more importantly I get to be an aunt!” Katherine squeals with delight. “She adores me!”
“Where did she go running off to in such a hurry?” Glory asks curiously.
“She wanted to go find some kind of art project she worked on in school to show off to Katherine.” Kurt answers. “I can go get her back if you want.”
“Why don’t you do that, babe?” Glory kisses him on the cheek.
“Yeah, you do that bro. I want to see my niece, besides, me and Glory need to catch up.” Katherine winks knowingly at Braddock. Kurt sighs and then stands up.
“As you wish, ladies.” With that, Kurt starts to walk away, in search of little Dawn. Once he is out of sight Katherine turns to face Glory and hugs her.
“Thanks again for doing this, Glory. I have to admit, I had my doubts but you were right. This has been good for me, for Kurt, for the whole family.”
“It’s the least I could do.” Glory says. The truth is that Glory Braddock does not want her husband to end up like she is, with tons of regret, regret over how her closest family has fallen apart, and how she can never again repair it because they are all but gone. She sensed that Kurt was already living with some regret but it wasn’t too late for him. There was still time to try and repair the broken family. Braddock knew she had to do whatever it took to repair it. And from the look on his face ever since Katherine arrived, the way he has been acting and behaving, it seems as if his regret is slowly starting to lift. Part of her plan is working out.
“Now that Kurt is out of the room, there is something I wanted to tell you.”
“Oh?” Glory’s curiosity is peaked. She wonders if Katherine has found out anything about their mother. She had suggested that Katherine look into it but she didn’t know if Katherine would actually do that. Even if she did, was there anything to find? Their father was dead. Could their mother also be dead, too?
“I know you wanted me to try and track down mine and Kurt’s mom. I thought it would be an exercise in futility, I thought she was dead, but…” a grin forms on Katherine’s face “...I found her.”
“You did?” Glory asks in astonishment. Katherine nods her head.
“Yes, I did! It turns out she is still living in our old hometown of Houston, Texas. She’s still living in the same home we grew up in.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, I found it odd. You would think with all of the bad memories that she would have left.”
“Maybe the financial situation she is in makes it impossible for her to leave?” Glory suggests. “Maybe she cannot move? If that’s the case, I would gladly buy a home in Miami so that she could be closer to Kurt. Same goes for you, mate. If you want to move here to be closer to Miami I can make it happen.”
“I will definitely think about it.” Katherine chuckles. “Living here in this upscale neighborhood certainly beats where I was living. But mom will be a different story.”
“You don’t think she will want to move?”
“It’s not that. I’m just not sure how Kurt will react. I mean, this family reunion is a long time coming. He definitely has his problems with dad, as do I, but does he still hold a grudge against mom?”
“Your mom didn’t give you a problem though, did she?”
“No.” Katherine shakes her head. “But you know how Kurt can be.”
“Stubborn, I know.” Glory smirks. “But I am equally as stubborn. I think between the two of us we can make this reunion happen.”
“I hope so.” Tears form in Katherine’s eyes. “This is a dream I never thought would come true but you are making it happen, Glory. And I couldn’t thank you enough.”
“It is my honor.” Glory says with her own emotions bubbling over. “I just hope we can make this family reunion happen.”
“Family reunion?” It is the voice of Kurt. Glory and Katherine turn their attention back to the entrance of the living room. Kurt has returned. “What reunion?”
“Uh, bro, there’s something I should tell you.” Katherine begins.
“What is it?”
“Our mom…”
“What about her?”
“She’s alive. I know where she is.”

The late afternoon sun cast a golden glow over the bustling streets of downtown Los Angeles, where the iconic palm trees swayed gently in the warm breeze. Off in the distance one can hear the hum of traffic, the chatter of pedestrians, and the occasional honk of a car horn. Skyscrapers loomed overhead, their glass facades reflecting the vibrant hues of the setting sun. Walking into the scene from the right is the lovely blonde known as Glory Braddock. The British Bombshell was dressed in a stunning royal purple ensemble that commanded attention. Her tailored blazer, adorned with delicate silver buttons, hugged her figure perfectly, accentuating her poised silhouette. The matching pencil skirt fell just below her knees, its sleek lines enhancing her graceful movements. A silk blouse in a lighter shade of lavender peeked out from beneath her blazer, adding a soft contrast to the bold outfit. Completing her look were a pair of silver heels, each step she took clicking softly against the pavement. Braddock reaches center screen where she stops and turns to face the camera.
“You know, I have heard it said over and over again, time after time, week in and week out about how actions have consequences. Some of you lot out there may not think that Twisted & Sadistic are listening but we are. Trust me, we are listening and we hear everything you have to say about crime and punishment, actions and consequences, and all that stuff. I think I can safely speak for Britt and say that she doesn’t really care. If what we do causes a fight, so be it. She loves a good fight. Quite frankly, I love a good fight, too, but in all honesty, I’d prefer to do my fighting in the center of the ring where you can prove once and for all who is the best. The one and only time Twisted & Sadistic went two on two against Light in the Darkness we beat them. Luz and Blyhte got the belts back but without actually beating us. Hopefully you can see where my gripe comes in. All I ever wanted was to get another two on two match against Luz and Blythe, because I think even they want to erase any and all doubt about who is the best, because in my mind, in the mind of Twisted & Sadistic, there is no question, there is no doubt, until they beat us straight up.” Braddock shrugs her shoulders.
“But actions have consequences, right? Yes, they do, and we certainly pissed off a lot of people on our path to earning that tag title shot at Taking the Leap. I will admit to making mistakes, I will admit to going about this the wrong way, but I will not and will never apologize for the competitive fire I have burning in my heart and soul. At my core I am a competitor and the kind of shenanigans that happened to me and Britt, well, I just cannot let that kind of loss go without a fight. Twisted & Sadistic took action and yes, it was the wrong action, and now we have to pay the consequences, right? And those consequences are facing Dangerous Minds and The Cowgirls from Hell in an eight person tag. If those are the consequences of our actions then bring it on, I am prepared to face those consequences but I won’t be alone, I have Britt by my side and I have Light in the Darkness by my side, a team that I do respect. Luz, Blythe, thank you for stepping up, thank you for helping Twisted & Sadistic pay our consequences, because you didn’t have to but you did anyway. Once we take care of business at Taking Hold of the Flame, I look forward to settling the score once and for all and giving SCW the tag team title match they deserve without any shenanigans.”
“Actions do have consequences, even actions from nearly three years ago.” Braddock nods her head. “I have always prided myself on being good enough in the squared circle to take anyone to their limit. I have always been proud of the fact that I am a good enough wrestler that you can put me in the ring against anyone and I stand a damn good chance at beating them, or at the very least they will know they have been in a war. But nearly three years ago I was not on top of my game. I have always brought my very best but on one particular night in August of 2021 I did not bring my very best and I suffered for it. That night I lost to you, Xander Valentine.” Glory shakes her head. “Three years is a long time. I never stopped thinking about it, though, because I knew this match is one I wanted back. It was one time I looked back and was ashamed of myself, ashamed that I did not put forth the kind of effort I knew I could put forth. Maybe I still would have lost, but at least I would have been able to hold my head high knowing I did my very best. For awhile I didn’t think I would get another chance to make this right. Actions have consequences, though, and the consequences was me having to live with that loss.” Glory smirks knowingly.
“Except this time fate is smiling upon The British Bombshell. I have been granted a rare opportunity to dial it back, to run it back, to turn back time and do it all over again. Xander, you and I are going head to head one more time. Now I know you have Selena Frost coming up, I know you are challenging for the SCW World Championship, and yes, I know how important that is. I imagine most of SCW wants you to take Frosty down. But this isn’t about the SCW World Title.” She shakes her head. “I mean, of course, beating the number one contender is certainly a feather in my cap, but for me this match has a far deeper meaning to me, deeper than the grandest prize in SCW. So I am warning you to take me and this match seriously. Do not look past me because I am damn sure not looking past you. I am definitely taking this seriously. This match is as important to me as any championship match I have ever been in, because I get the chance to run back that defeat, only this time I WILL be at the top of my game, this time I WILL BRING MY VERY BEST, and this time I guarantee you that I will NOT be choked out! I will NOT be tapped out!” The look of intensity on Braddock’s face grows to a boiling point.
“This time, Xander, when the match is over, I WILL walk away with my head held high proud of the performance I put on, proud that I threw everything I had at you, and maybe, if fate really is smiling down upon me, I just might walk away having beaten you. That’s my goal, Xander. My goal is to throw everything I have at you, to make sure you know you have been in a war, and ultimately my goal is to get my win back.” She shakes her head. “Because as I said earlier, I am a fierce competitor, the competitive fire in me is like an eternal flame, and I cannot let that kind of loss just sit there. I will do everything within my power to put you down. This is one time when I will dial back the clock and undo the actions that led to the consequences, this is one time when I can right a wrong, and believe me when I say that I will not let this opportunity get away from me. Tomorrow night on Breakdown, you will be facing the very best that I have to offer. Are you ready for that? Because I am ready for anything you have to throw at me.”
