Breakdown concluded and The British Bombshell did exactly what she set out to do; she defeated Ace Marshall, she even made him pass out to Shekhinah Glory. Unfortunately her accomplishment was not without controversy. Glory Braddock did all of that to Ace, but she did not see Dexter Grant blast him in the head with the championship belt, busting him wide open. The wound had given Braddock suspicions but it was the heat of the moment, she couldn’t think about anything else but the match. After it was over, after she saw exactly what happened, she was furious. She knew that she could have taken down Ace on her own. She new she could have made him tap out or pass out on her own, she did not need Dexter Grant’s help. Yet Dexter wanted to provide an insurance policy, not for Glory but for himself, to ensure that his title shot remained one on one. Thus Glory Braddock was robbed of a clean victory over someone the stature of Ace Marshall. Previously Dogfight in Dusseldorf was just about defending her championship against a good, albeit unusual, competitor in Dexter Grant. Now it is personal. Braddock is angry and wants to make him pay for involving himself in her match against Ace. This is no longer just a title defense for The British Bombshell; this is going to be a beating.
Dusseldorf will be a nice change of pace for The British Bombshell. She is European by birth, born and raised in London, England. She used to travel all over Europe with her father when he was an active wrestler on the European scene. Back then the European fans loved the Braddock wrestling name. Now she returns as her father’s heir, carrying the SCW Adrenaline Championship. She is excited about a European show and competing before the European fans. But first, before she makes the long trip overseas, she wants to settle down and relax with her husband Kurt, spend some much needed time with him where she feels safe. Safety is something she has had a hard time coming by lately, and it isn’t just due to Ace Marshall’s antics or Dexter Grant involving himself in her business. Braddock has had to deal with a stalker lately, someone who has gotten dangerously close to her and her family; close enough to know her address to send her gifts, close enough to her routines so they can snap pictures of her family, close enough that they can make creepy harassing phone calls to scare her and her family. She has done her best to put it all in the back of her mind. She knows that she cannot afford a distraction ahead of a title match. Still, it is hard to just ignore something like this. She can only hope that the authorities will resolve this soon so she can get on with her life.
The master bedroom of Glory and Kurt’s home in Miami, Florida is a luxurious and serene retreat for Glory Braddock and her husband Kurt Logan, featuring a spacious king-sized bed as its centerpiece. The bed is framed with a sleek, low-profile upholstered headboard in a soft gray fabric, adding a modern and understated elegance. The bedding consists of crisp white sheets layered with a plush duvet and several decorative throw pillows in muted tones of charcoal, beige, and deep blue, creating a harmonious and inviting color palette. Kurt currently finds himself lying on the bed, his glasses on, reading a book. The walls are painted in a soothing neutral shade. On either side of the bed are sleek, matching nightstands with a minimalist design, each topped with a stylish table lamp, Kurt’s is turned on so he can get a better look at the book he is reading. Opposite the bed, a modern low-profile dresser contains a mounted flat-screen TV. Above the dresser, there’s a strategically placed mirror that reflects natural light and enhances the room’s sense of spaciousness. The room features floor-to-ceiling windows dressed with sheer white curtains and blackout drapes.
“Kurt? Are you ready?”
“Hmmm?” Kurt just grunts, barely acknowledging his wife’s question. He is so engrossed in his reading that he doesn’t even notice she has entered the bedroom. Braddock clears her throat, loudly and obnoxiously, intending to get his attention. This time it works and he puts down his book and looks over at his wife standing in the doorway of the bedroom. Glory is wearing a satin slip dress in a dusty rose color. The dress features delicate lace detailing along the neckline, which adds an elegant and feminine touch. It has thin spaghetti straps and a smooth, flowing fabric that drapes gracefully over her figure, giving the outfit a luxurious and soft appearance. The hemline of the dress falls around her knees, complementing its sophisticated yet relaxed style. Instantly Kurt smiles. “Wow…”
“I figured this would get your head out of that bloody book.” Braddock says with a playful wink as she walks sensually over to the bed. She crawls into bed and plants a kiss on his lips.
“So…am I being rewarded for something?”
“No.” Glory shakes her head. “More of a going away present, if you will.”
“Oh yeah, you’re off to Europe tomorrow.”
“Dogfight in Dusseldorf is in a week. I figure since I’ll be in Europe anyway, I can stopover in London and see our daughter and check on her progress at my dad’s wrestling school. I can check on my sister and see how she is doing. Family is important to me, you know?”
“Of course it is. But…” Kurt sighs “...aren’t you worried?”
“Worried about what?”
“Don’t play naive, babe.” Kurt says in a very serious, grim voice. “You know exactly what I’m talking about…your stalker.”
“Oh…that…” Glory sighs as she gets off of Kurt and lays flat down on the bed, staring up at the ceiling in deep contemplation “...you know, I had almost pushed that crap out of my mind. Thanks.”
“Sorry, babe, but that is something you can’t just forget.”
“And I can’t afford to be distracted.” Glory snaps back as she sits up and folds her arms over her chest. “I could lose my Adrenaline Championship if I’m not careful.”
“You could lose a hell of a lot more than that.” Kurt says sternly. “What’s more important, a trinket or your family?”
“Point taken.” Glory remarks as she sighs. “So what? What do I do?”
“Not much you can do, unfortunately. You can’t exactly put your entire life on hold because of this. You shouldn’t let this creep dictate your life. Just live your life, go about your regular routine, and just, well…” he sighs “...just be careful.”
“Yeah, be careful.” Glory is growing frustrated. “That’s the only bit of advice I get nowadays. I am not taking the passive approach. I am taking an aggressive approach, mate.”
“Wonderful.” Kurt says, chuckling lightly. “Now I got you all wound up. And looking at you now, wearing THAT, I probably should’ve just kept my mouth shut and enjoyed myself.”
“Your fault.” Glory says with a smirk. “Now then, since I am ‘wound up’ as you put it, let’s brainstorm. Who do we know is an enemy of myself or my family? Who would want to hurt me?”
“The Alan Family is the obvious choice.”
“I’ve effectively ruled them out.” Glory says. “Matthew is in prison and his criminal ties have all abandoned him. So even if his sleazy sister Jennifer wanted to target me, she would have no way of doing so. And I do not believe their sister Aurora is capable of it.”
“What about Meagan Collins?” Kurt points out. “She was thrown under the bus when authorities were investigating your company’s shady business practices. She got in trouble for it. Spent brief time in prison and she is out now.”
“I suppose she is a potential suspect. I mean, Meagan cannot be trusted. But we hashed out our differences last year and honestly, she sounded sincere.”
“Van Stanton?” Kurt asks, throwing out the name of one of the Braddock family’s longest running rivals. Glory chuckles at the suggestion.
“Which one? Honestly, you could make a case for either. Henry’s son was murdered in a drive by shooting where my daughter was the real target. And Henry’s brother Mason has always had it out for me.”
“Maybe we should consider someone not so obvious?” Kurt asks. “Someone who is secretly pretending to be a friend or ally but actually has ulterior motives?”
“You’ve been watching too much True Crime.” Glory snickers. “But you raise a valid point. If these other avenues don’t pan out, maybe we could look into that?”
Kurt opens his mouth to respond but he is interrupted by the ringing of the phone. He and Glory exchange curious glances. Neither were expecting anyone to contact them this late in the evening. Then as the phone rings again they are reminded of the strange phone calls. Is the stalker reaching out again? The phone rings for a third time and Kurt decides to answer.
“Hello?” Glory remains completely silent as she watches Kurt listen in to whoever is on the other end. “Yes, that’s great news.” She lets out a sigh of relief; whoever is calling, whoever Kurt is talking to, is obviously not the stalker. “Yes, we can come over now.” She furrows her brow in confusion. “Thank you, officer.” And with that, Kurt hangs up the phone. He turns to look at Glory. A grin forms on his face.
“Officer?”
“Yeah,” Kurt nods his head “apparently they have him.”
“The stalker?”
“The very one.” Kurt smirks. “They just want us to come down to the station and see if we can identify him, see if we know this guy.”
The British Bombshell nods her head. Things certainly took an unexpected turn tonight but she isn’t complaining. What this means is that there is one less distraction in her life. She now knows who has been behind it all; or at least, she will know soon enough.

Glory and her husband Kurt are gathered outside in the hallway of the Miami police station. They didn’t bother dressing nice, they just threw on whatever they could find to come down. Glory is wearing a dark blazer over a navy shirt with the top buttons undone, tight form fitting denim jeans, and simple black flats. Kurt wears a dark shirt unbuttoned at the collar khaki pants, and sneakers. With them is a police detective, Detective Garrison, with short dark hair is neatly combed and wearing a dark suit and tie over a white shirt. The hallway itself is utilitarian, focused mostly on its functionality and not on comfort. As a result the walls are painted gray, along one side of the hallway is a large, one-way mirror that allows officers and detectives to observe what’s happening inside the interrogation room without being seen. The mirror spans almost the full length of the room. Inside the interrogation room itself is a disheveled young man with dirty brown hair, a forest green jacket, almost resembling an old army jacket, that has definitely seen its better days. He has a torn white t-shirt that has several grease stains all over the front. He is wearing black adidas wind pants and beat up sneakers. Glory and Kurt look at this suspect in the interrogation room with wide-eyed shock and surprise. They had many thoughts and theories as to who or what was behind this, but this particular individual does not match up to any of their theories.
“Meet Hubert Gaetz.” Detective Garrison says, motioning to the suspect in the interrogation room.
“Nice looking individual.” Kurt remarks sarcastically. “Who is he?”
“Well we know a few things but we were hoping you could tell us more.”
“I’ve never seen the bloke in my life.” Glory answers quickly. “You’re sure he’s the guy who has been sending those gifts, the phone calls, and that picture…?”
“Positive. He confessed to everything.”
“Could it have been a false confession?” Glory asks.
“No. His fingerprints matched up with fingerprints we found on those gifts you received, and that’s not everything. Trust me, Ms. Braddock, there’s plenty of evidence other than just his confession tying him to this.”
“Still it’s weird, don’t you think?” Kurt chimes in. “We have no idea who this guy is.”
“It baffles us too, Mr. Logan, but it happens more times than you think, especially with celebrities like your wife here.”
“I used to be a celebrity.” Kurt mutters under his breath. Glory elbows him sharply in the side.
“So he just stalked me because he’s a…” she shrugs her shoulders “...he’s a crazed fan?”
“That’s what we can gather.” Garrison remarks. “He was obsessed you, he claimed in his confession that he loved you. Those gifts were apparently his way of trying to win you over.”
“The sicko…” Glory growls “...pervert.”
“You’re honestly very lucky that we caught him when we did, Ms. Braddock. This little incident is not his first run in with the law.”
“What do you mean?” Glory asks. “What else did this twat do?”
“Stalking was his first crime, to be perfectly honest. He had been in and out of juvenile system for stalking girls in the community. Apparently either he stayed under the radar long enough for people to forget about him, or maybe no one ever did catch on to his past, because he actually convinced some poor woman to date him when he was in his early twenties. After they broke up he went beyond stalking and actually kidnapped her.”
“Bloody hell…” Glory’s voice is barely above a whisper. It is dawning on her now just how dangerous this guy is, and how she dodged a major bullet.
“He served his time, was a model prisoner, and got out early for good behavior. Obviously he didn’t learn his lesson because you were going to be his next target.”
“I can’t believe it.” Glory shakes her head. She is deeply troubled. Kurt hugs her tightly and then makes eye contact with Garrison.
“Thank you for catching him, detective.”
“Of course, Mr. Logan. That’s my job.” He motions to the waiting room. “If you could just return to the waiting room, I might need you and your wife to make a few more statements. Myself or one of the officers will come get you when we’re ready.”
Kurt nods his head and then guides Glory through the hall and out into the waiting room. It happens to be empty right now, which the couple are grateful for. Kurt guides Glory to a chair and she sits down. He sits down next to her. He looks lovingly at her and smiles.
“How are you holding up?”
“I just learned that a creep was likely planning to kidnap me.” Glory remarks frankly. “How do you think I’m holding up?”
“Dumb question, I suppose.” Kurt smirks.
“It’s ok. I forgive you.” Glory kisses him on the cheek. “Thanks for being there for me, love. I couldn’t have survived this without your strength.”
“Like the man said, I’m just doing my job.”
“I’m just glad this is all over.” Glory sighs deeply.
“Are you sure?” Kurt says after a brief pause. His voice is tinged with uncertainty. Glory turns and looks at him, furrowing her brow with confusion.
“What do you mean?” She asks curiously. “You heard the man. They have a full confession AND they have evidence tying him to the stalking. This is an open and shut case, love. Hubert Gaetz is the creep who has been stalking me. He is in police custody now. And unless he has a damn good attorney…which based on his lousy attire I seriously doubt he can afford one…then he is going to be spending some serious time in prison. It’s over, Kurt.”
“I dunno.” He shakes his head. “There’s something about this that bothers me.”
“What?”
“He bought you TWO very expensive gifts, both of them included some seriously expensive diamonds. You said yourself…does he look like the kind of guy who can afford diamond necklaces or any of that stuff?”
“He’s a criminal, love. He probably did what all criminals do…he either stole it or robbed a convenience store to get the money to buy it. Simple as that.”
“Maybe you’re right.” Kurt shrugs his shoulders. “I mean, all the evidence does point to him…”
“Kurt, I know I’m right.” She smirks. “Remember, you’re the one who watches too much True Crime. Not everything in the world is a multi-layered conspiracy. Sometimes it really is as simple as that loser did something stupidly dangerous and got caught.”
“Good.” Kurt wraps his arm around her shoulders. “Now that means you an go to Germany with a clear head, no distractions, and defend that championship of yours.”
“Precisely. Dexter Grant is dangerous but he’s not unbeatable. I know I can beat him, Kurt. He has some impressive wins under his belt but he hasn’t faced me, he hasn’t faced the best in the world. In Dusseldorf he will get the biggest test of his SCW career.”
“Could be good for the guy’s crusade.” Kurt chuckles. “He has the biggest stage in the world to talk about how social media, the internet, and the other crap is bad.”
“Like he’ll get a chance to spread his insane ranting and ravings.” Braddock shakes her head. “You can’t preach when you’re unconscious and I plan to choke him out in front of everyone in Dusseldorf.”
