Cologne, Germany. Tuesday 15th July. (Off-Camera)
It was a strange day where Konrad and Kemal flew from US to Germany to do some tag wrestling practice with Lord Raab and his husband Samuel McPherson. Ironically, it was the first time since Kemal joined the wrestling school that they were practising tag team wrestling together. Because they've never teamed before, especially with Kemal's technical skills with Konrad being an all rounder wrestler. While Lord Raab and Samuel were purely heavyweight wrestlers. From their arrival at 11 in the morning to nine at night, they were doing tag team training and got their review and amassment from Lord Raab and Samuel which they already discussed with them.
However, Konrad and Kemal did have time to discuss it as they were travelling to the airport in Cologne to fly back to where they were going to wrestle in the United States, Seattle, Washington. Of course, Konrad had his private plane so getting to the location won't be an issue for them, since Konrad uses the private plane a lot to travel to venues like he had to go to Dover, Delaware on Friday for the NASCAR Xfinity Series race after the match against Hollywood on Thursday. As they were on the private plane on their way to US, Kemal did have a few questions to ask.
Kemal Yilmaz: “I know I'm not exactly into this sport, but how's it all going?”
He meant NASCAR than wrestling as wrestling was obvious and Konrad responds.
Konrad Raab: “Honestly, dreadful as I suck at road and street course racing. Thank goodness that we're back oval racing for the next three weeks. Much better at those.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “You still not that good at them? What about that Mexico City win you got over that Daniel guy?”
Konrad Raab: “It was progress, but I finished 12th and 3rd the last two road course races. I just hate them so much. That's why I'm glad for the next three weeks, the races are much more my playground with the ovals. It's where I belong.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “I would love to come and watch you race again. You know, want to get to know your team more as I didn't exactly get to know them very much with the Daytona five hundred race.”
Konrad Raab: “Maybe I get you to come to the Iowa round in two weeks as I feel there won't be as many people there and Dover is too close and Indianapolis will be way too busy with me and Kyle Larson being all cameras in our faces.”
It certainly was something as it was understandable about the Dover race being too last minute to get VIP pass and Indianapolis race was going to be extremely packed, despite making the most sense as they were going to be together before Rise To Greatness weekend. Kemal as they were sitting on the plane being high in the sky had a few more questions.
Kemal Yilmaz: “Do you, you know fear that you'll die in a race car someday?”
Konrad Raab: “To be honest, no because that's the whole point of me doing NASCAR is that I'd rather die to do what I love than die because of getting sick and all that shit.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “The fact you're willing to risk your life for motor sport is amazing. I don't think I'd have that dedication or bravery to do something like that on top of wrestling too.”
Konrad Raab: “Well, you will get used to being in the limelight a lot more which admittedly, does put a bit of pressure at me at times, especially with the playoffs coming up with Xfinity Series as I've won a few races, especially Atlanta, but at the same time, I couldn't ask for much better. You ever thought about doing MMA again as well as doing wrestling?”
It was a very valid question as Kemal after all had a real goal of chasing his MMA dream and they aren't sure where they were in the sky right now as they were served food by an assistant as Konrad hired one of those for his private plane as well which was a special vegan chicken and salad meal and they started eating for a bit before Kemal responded to the question.
Kemal Yilmaz: “I have actually a lot the last few weeks because of how you inspired me to be able to do two sports at once, problem is MMA fights are usually on a weekend than a weekday so that could be a problem. I won't lie, since I got into professional wrestling, MMA organisations have discovered my background and what I aimed to do.”
Konrad Raab: “You know you can do both. Unlike my racing career that's on every weekend, the MMA fights as I had my ex wife do that only book you in a few fights. So it's not like wrestling will in anyway interfere with wrestling. A lot of wrestlers do MMA as well as professional wrestling.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “I want to focus more on wrestling at the moment as especially as the future team leader of The European Fiery Nation, I need to commit to the team and they need me as a leader for the time being after you've gone and retired from the sport.”
Konrad Raab: “I'm only retired from wrestling in Supreme Championship Wrestling end of December this year, not the sport as a whole. My god, I can't do that when I got tons of anger still to be released when things don't go my way in racing. Since I get blacklisted for life if I ever struck a driver, unless they've hit me first.”
Which had came close more than once with a few drivers, especially with Kris Wright and Austin Hill. Even had an encountered with Justin Allgaier as well. But Konrad knew he couldn't strike them and he did have to defend himself against Ricky Stenhouse Jr and Brad Keselowski but it was never a time for Konrad to strike a driver.
Kemal Yilmaz: “I can understand that and you never want to be blacklisted from racing for life because you struck a driver first. But damn, you really got into fights? Didn't know that.”
Konrad Raab: “Not something I'm proud of Kemal. Because it's unprofessional, but I had to defend myself and so it's the only time I can hit someone in NASCAR. I can't ever start fights and if that happened, I'd be suspended from SCW and other wrestling companies as they made that deal in the contracts.”
Kemal widened his eyes on the response Konrad got, especially it was very telling about Konrad having to have two different personalities, the wrestling side of him and the professional racing side of him which admittedly, was very difficult for Konrad to contain, especially in the cases of the drivers punching or trying to punch Konrad.
Kemal Yilmaz: “I'm shocked honestly that drivers would try to punch you or try to get you to punch you first. That really must be hard not to.”
Konrad Raab: “It really is, but at the same time. Like I said, I have to be professional in the racing world. There's even asshole drivers in NASCAR as well as asshole wrestlers. I'm sure there's asshole MMA fighters. You literally can't get away from them.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “Oh, without a doubt there's asshole MMA fighters, even asshole trainees I had to train while I was in the process of getting a black belt. Sometimes, it took every ounce of strength to not hit them because of sticking to the rules and know I'd be kicked out if I hit any student. So I know that feeling all too well.
Konrad Raab: “I can imagine. I do have a guy in NASCAR that I treat as my son at times, Ty Gibbs. Me and him are super close and always have been since we were team mates a couple of years ago. He's a good kid. Misguided like Carson Hocevar, but at the same time, extremely talented that's had a lot of bad luck. He's a better road/street course driver than I am.”
Which was true with Ty overall having much better results on road and street courses than Konrad and even Kemal was shocked and it did make sense how and why Konrad was closer to driver than wrestlers as he had more in common with them and he could be open to them compared to wrestlers that he was a closed box. They continued eating as they were already half way and nearly time for them to head off to sleep as they get their beds made by the assistant while they continued to eat.
Kemal Yilmaz: “I had no idea, really interesting to know more about the racing business your apart of, than discussing about the match with Hollywood.”
Konrad Raab: “Because I'm extremely open with racing questions as you should be with wrestling questions, but you don't have that obviously. Yeah, there's not really a lot to discuss with them, besides, it's better to say what we have to say to them in our video tomorrow.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “That's true. I got to ask though, how did you and AJ become best friends in the racing business?”
Konrad Raab: “I was having a shitty day with everything that happened with my ex girlfriend, until AJ came along and asked if I was alright. I told him the truth and he's been there for me ever since. He's a really nice guy and I'm glad to be his friend. Besides, he has helped me a lot with road and street course advice he's given me too. He cares about me more than anyone I've ever known.”
It was the first time Konrad had expressed opening up to a wrestler about his racing career as no other wrestler was interested from talking about racing and it was sad that nobody was interested in racing. But Kemal got it and was a racing fan himself, mostly because of Turkish motorcycle riders, making the racing world bigger.
Kemal Yilmaz: “What a good friend AJ is, checking if your alright every week.”
Konrad Raab: “He really is. I go to him when he's having shitty weekends too, especially he puts a ton of pressure on himself at road course and street course races too because he's literally a master of them, or was until Shane Van Gisbergen took over.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “I guess Shane has got more experience than you guys with road courses.”
Konrad Raab: “Yes. Shane has had many years in Australia having road and street course races. He's the opposite of me, weak at ovals, but strong at road and street courses. All because of his experience. Anyway, we got a long journey kid as we got to get some sleep before the match against those Hollywood bitches as a test of us getting along as a team.”
That they do as the assistant saw they finished with their food and took their plates away, although the assistant decided to leave the drinks for the lads to drink at night as the assistant turned the lights off for Konrad and Kemal to head off to sleep for five hours, until they had breakfast and then they got off the plane to head their separate ways with Kemal staying at a hotel, while Konrad goes to stay in an hired apartment.

Konrad Raab: “You know, this might be the first time in history that me and Kemal outside of training tag matches together while I was training Kemal we've ever been officially a team. Not even a six person tag because that was with Oskar. But still, we're the most least experience actually in teaming compared to Hollywood.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “Fact is guys, we know you're having your fun with The Dependables as of late with your future movie making rubbish you both seem to have in common with, but the point is nothing you do is original compared to Konrad here who doesn't have any other wrestler to do racing.”
Konrad Raab: “Because people are too scared to risk their life in crashes if they get killed. I'm not afraid. Fact is guys you might have had some matches with Dakon and Ludvig, but notice that you've only beaten them one time, while they've beaten you both twice before. So you guys lost momentum somewhere.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “Especially you couldn't say a damn thing about them. But you said an awful lot to Glimmer Sisters about your rubbish efforts in the rumble and how you both whined and cried about being eliminated from the rumble match. That's why rumble matches are a joke because ninety-nine percent of the time, you're going to lose.”
Konrad Raab: “He's right because I said that to him. Notice that he's already learning my teachings from me? Because he knows what this team is all about and I have faith Kemal will be a great leader for the team. But Chris and Ryan, you guys comparing Glimmer Sisters to Van Halen is an insult. Sure they have potential, but you both sure don't.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “As both Dakon and Ludvig showed you last time around and yes, we may do the same tag moves as Dakon and Ludvig, but we're very different wrestlers, Konrad is an all rounder type wrestler, while I'm the technical artist that can find multiple ways to get out of wrestling moves, that can find ways to break your bones in your bodies.”
Konrad Raab: “Only Kemal won't because we will enjoy seeing you get crushed by The Dependables since they are a team as Kemal doesn't know that have wrestled in SCW ring years past. But the fact is Ryan and Chris that we didn't appreciate that you tried to get the world about me and the entire team lying because of the wrestling school according to you idiots in Las Vegas, when it's my twin brother's gym.”
Kemal Yilmaz: “Exactly and there's a wrestling school in Cologne, Germany to develop European wrestlers. Of course, nobody wants to care about discovering other European country wrestlers outside of UK and Irish wrestlers, ignoring them completely since no other wrestlers want to promote and bring European talent outside of UK and Irish wrestlers in.”
Konrad Raab: “Which is why we partly want to hurt you both because you're a joke to the wrestling business and we aim to crush you both,, but obviously leaving you both scraps to The Dependables. But tomorrow night, the temporary team of the past leader and the future leader that will be the most successful tag team in EFN history by capturing the first win as a team because with my all rounder and Kemal's technical moves set, you both will be in a world of pain and making you both suffer. We won't hesitate to bust you both open and end you both once and for all.
Kemal Yilmaz: “Because you both are weak for showing so much respect to those Glimmer Sisters respect and it's why it cost you both matches. If I had to face Konrad or Oskar in solos matches, I wouldn't hesitate to beat them and wrestle like we aren't friends or anything whatsoever.”
Konrad Raab: “What he said because you both are utterly pointless and we're going to walk away and win the match either by pinfall or submission because we're both better than the pair of you combined and we can hurt and destroy you both in just a few minutes because there's no respect or friendship between us. See you destroyed pricks out there because you're not worthy opponents.”
