It is dark in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. We are in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Arts, and at the foot of the steps is a statue. This particular statue should be familiar to most movie goers as it is of the iconic fictional character Rocky Balboa. There is a single spotlight shining down upon the famous Rocky statue. The quiet of the scene is interrupted when the clicking of heels across pavement is heard. The clicking sound gets louder and louder, indicating that it is coming closer and closer. Eventually we see a female figure stepping into the scene from the right. As she steps into the spotlight and stands in front of the Rocky statue we can see that this is none other than “The Woman Scorned” Kimberly Williams. The self-proclaimed Queen of the Death Match is dressed in an a-line sleeveless little black dress with a hemline that stops just at the thigh, a black leather jacket, and she is perched atop open toed black leather high heel pumps. The eccentric ginger has her HKW Bloodlust Championship title belt wrapped around her waist and as for the title belt that no promotion except Kim herself recognizes, The Unsanctioned Championship of Death & Shit, it is draped over her right shoulder.

“It has been awhile since I got the opportunity to address Supreme Championship Wrestling. Note that I am addressing SCW. I address my fans all the time. My fans, my Kimmymaniacs, have always stood by my side, they have always supported me through thick and thin. I would do anything for them. But as for the monolith that is SCW, well, maybe there is a tiny bit of a miscommunication here. Maybe somewhere one of us doesn’t quite understand the other. So right now, the first time since Rise To Greatness, I want to get a few things off of my chest.” She holds up three fingers.

“Three times! I wrestled three times! Once on the Pre-Show in an Underground Rules WAR against DeeDee McFrosty. And DeeDee really brought the fight. Not only did she bring the fight but she beat me. I already said it once, McFrosty, congratulations. I don’t expect you to show me the same sportsmanship that I just showed you but hey, I do not do anything for anyone’s approval. I do what I do because it is right. You earned my respect but that doesn’t mean I’m finished with you. As I have said before, I am the Queen of the Death Match. I only want to fight in the Underground Division. So you can believe it…” she smirks as she realizes the pun she unintentionally made “...when I say that I am coming for my Underground Championship rematch.”

“After that war on the Pre-Show, I had to turn right around and refocus on this crazy as hell Farmstead Match for the SCW World Tag Team Championship. Did I WANT that title match? Did I WANT to be in a team with Wolf? No. Did Wolf WANT to be in a team with me? No. This was once again SCW management thinking it would be funny as hell to put Crazy Kim in a situation where she could cause chaos and draw ratings. That’s what that was all about. My brand of chaos draws cash. Plus our beloved commissioner hates me and decided to double book me. There were plenty of people on the roster who would have killed for an opportunity at the tag titles. Why not give one of those WILLING and VOLUNTARY soldiers a chance to win the titles? But no, Shaun Cruiserweight, in his infinite wisdom decided to book me twice. I had already made it clear MONTHS EARLIER that the only title matches I ever wanted were Underground Title Matches. If that meant skipping over me for shots at the other so-called prestigious titles then so be it. I can wait until my Underground Title opportunity comes. But this idiot still sticks me in a tag title match. Is he just stupid or is he spiteful and wants to stick it to me by putting me in an impossible situation where I had to wrestle twice at Rise To Greatness?”

The Queen of the Death Match points at her face which is full of intensity and hatred. “Look at me! I am dropping the facade of happy go lucky Crazy Kim just for one moment. For this one moment everyone gets to see the real Kimberly Frances Williams! Do you think I WANTED to wrestle twice at Rise To Greatness? I’m not crazy. I knew by spreading myself so thin I would be unable to properly prepare myself for either match. I would be justified in blaming my loss of the Underground Title on the fact that I had to also prepare for that stupid Farmstead match.” Williams shakes her head. “But I won’t make excuses like some people do. Deanna Frost beat me clean in the center of the ri…” she giggles “...well, center of the float anyway!”

“Now I could have just refused to prepare for that tag match at all. I could have just left Sarah Wolf high and dry. And not even showed up. Believe me that idea did cross my mind for a brief second. But I didn’t and you know why? It had nothing to do with some lame ass commitment to SCW. I went through with the ridiculous double booking and even added a third booking just for shits and giggles, because I am committed to the fans. My Kimmymaniacs support me and cheer me on even when people like Shaun Cruze try to hold me back. They paid good money to see me and I refuse to let my fans down. I do what I do out there because I love to fight and I love to entertain the fans! And nothing Cruze or SCW throws at me will dissuade me from entertaining the great fans!”

The Woman Scorned motions to the Rocky Balboa statue behind her. “Rocky Balboa represents every single underdog in sports today. If no one thought you could succeed then Rocky was probably your role model. All you had to do was look at the story of Balboa to get the motivation to keep fighting. Now after Rise To Greatness, after losing three times, you could argue that I have hit rock bottom. You could argue that I have never been as low as I have been right now.” She shakes her head. “Nah, I have been this low before. Hell, I have been lower than this before. This is far from my rock bottom. My rock bottom was when I was sitting in a mental hospital, thinking I would never get out, thinking my family would leave me locked up forever…and justifiably so after the things I had done. I knew I had done wrong and I knew that I was paying for my crimes. So I don’t want to hear anyone trying to say that Kim Williams thinks her shit doesn’t stink. I know I’m probably one of the worst human beings on the planet. But at least I wanted to be better…and thanks to some love and kindness, and thanks to my own stubborn determination, I got better, and I survived that abyss. I survived that hell and I was able to earn a second chance to make it within society. So losing three times at Rise To Greatness? Yeah, it’s catastrophic, but I have damn sure survived worse and I will survive this. So it is only fitting that as the underdog yet again I can look upon Rocky Balboa as motivation. I look at this statue and I remember that no matter how many times you get knocked down, you can get right back up. And when I look at this statue I remember why I do bring myself to the ring and torture myself every damn week, and why I will once again put my body through hell tomorrow night here in Philly against The One! Do I endure this pain from the wars and the endless insults from Monday morning quarterbacks who are too damn afraid to get back into the ring and do what I do because I enjoy it?” Kim punches herself in the head repeatedly. “IT HURTS! IT FUCKING HURTS! But I put my body through hell because of the fans! And then to have people say that I don’t take this seriously, that I don’t take my craft seriously?” She shakes her head.

“You do not know what the hell I have been through. You have never walked in my shoes. So don’t even try to judge me. The only people whose opinions I care about are my and my fans. And my opponent tomorrow night in Philly, her opinion doesn’t matter worth a damn to me, either. She is just step one in my journey back!” Kim once again motions to the Rocky statue. “And I can look upon him as a role model to keep going as I begin my march back to the top tomorrow night against The One on Breakdown.”

Williams waves a hand across her face and that wild expression returns to her face. “Ok, back to being Crazy Kim again!” she wipes pretend sweat from her forehead. “Sheesh, remind me to not be normal that long ever again. Being normal takes way too much outta me! Being normal is emotionally depressing, know what I mean?” Kimberly chuckles lightly. “And on Breakdown as we return from break I get to step into the ring against The Two!” A man steps in and whispers into her ear. Kimberly furrows her brow in confusion. “Wait, it’s not The Two? What the hell is her name then, The Three?” He leans in and again whispers into her ear. Kim shakes her head. “You’re kidding? The One?” The man nods his head and then steps back off screen. Williams throws her head back and laughs hysterically.

“What the hell kinda name is that, anyway? If you are The One, are your siblings Two and Three? Do you have parents and if you do is one of them named Zero? Are you friends with that preschool vampire act from Sesame Street named The Count? If not, you two should really hook up. It wouldn’t hurt, because, think about it, do you really expect this whole wrestling thing to last forever? Sure, I know you have great promise already. You made a big splash at Taking Hold of the Flame. You whipped Steward’s ass. You beat a former Television Champion in Beard at Rise To Greatness. At first glance you appear to be just another dime a dozen bitch walking through the hallowed halls of SCW looking to make a name for herself.” Williams shakes her head.

“But there is something different about you. You talk about redefining SCW? You speak of change. But what do you mean by that?” She shrugs her shoulders. “Oh come on, Onesie, who hasn’t talked about redefining SCW? Hell, that was my shtick way before you came along. Sure, you had been dropping your cutesy little video messages for quite awhile but I had already been actively trying to mold SCW into my beautiful, glorious image of chaos! While you were shooting promos, I was actually doing things to create change. Now I’m not going to pretend I was always successful, but at least I was trying while you were playing with computer graphics and shooting video footage to play mind games with people who couldn’t cut the mustard in this company. Now you look to stand across the ring with me? Sure, you’ve been successful so far but Steward wasn’t a true challenge and Beard barely put up a fight. What kind of change have you implemented lately, Onesie? You beat some people who are used to losing anyway. But me? I didn’t just talk the talk I walked the walk. My brand of chaos forced this damn company to reintroduce the Underground Division. The Underground Title main evented the pre-show of Rise To Greatness. Luna and Ravyn literally destroyed one another on the main show. Then I showed back up for the main show with Sarah Wolf to wage war with a fucking Penguin and Bear. Rise To Greatness this year may as well have been called Rise To Chaos and you have ME to thank for the reintroduction of glorious chaotic violence to SCW.” Kimberly cutsies like an elegant lady.

“You’re welcome, SCW. And as for you, Onesie, I hope you were taking notes. Because you have been talking a big game but have done nothing yet. Breakdown in Philly you get the chance to really make a statement because you will face a very pissed off Queen of the Death Match who is ready to rip your damn face off for no other reason than it’ll make me happy.” She smirks nastily.

“So I wouldn’t get your hopes up on this great big career plan involving some giant change in the SCW landscape. You don’t look like the landscaping type, to be honest with ya! So let Crazy Kim give you free advice, it is always good to have a safety net. It is always a good idea to have a fallback career. Take me, for instance. My fallback career is a master assassin for a foreign power.” She smirks knowingly. The gleam in her eyes makes it unsure just how serious she was about that last ridiculous statement. “Buuuuuut I don’t think I have to worry about that. I am a made woman in this business. Just in SCW alone I have been United States Champion, Television Champion, World Tag Team Champion, and two time Underground Champion. I am two belts away from Supreme Champion and I don’t even give a crap about any of that. MWE, HKW: Underground, and Global Championship Wrestling also pays me good money to make appearances and wrestle their top stars.” Kim points a finger at the camera.

“But what about you? Do you have a fallback career in case this whole wrestling thing doesn’t work out? I mean, everyone eventually runs into a brick wall that stalls their momentum. No matter how quick or fast and no matter how successful you start in this business, you inevitably hit a major roadblock. And little Miss One Two Buckle My Shoe, you are looking right at the brick wall, the roadblock that will stop you dead in your tracks. So what happens when you step into the ring with me at Breakdown and you find yourself outclassed? What happens when I beat you half to death on Breakdown? And yes, I will beat you. I will beat you down and it will hurt. You won’t be thinking about deep philosophical truths, changes, or any of that bullshit. The only question running through your head will be ‘what the hell happened to me?’ And of course the answer is me, The Queen of The Death Match. The answer is that you and your little movement ran right into me.” The Queen of the Death Match shrugs her shoulders. “Will you be able to recover from your sudden fall from grace? You are riding high and you have been since your debut but I am going to bring your ass back down to reality.”

“So take my advice, One Two Buckle My Shoe, have a backup plan just in case your crushing defeat on Breakdown leaves you unable to continue your wrestling dream. Like I said, hook up with The Count, become a regular on Sesame Street. In fact, let’s do some counting right now, shall we? And pay close attention, Onesie. This will be good practice for your future career as a sidekick on Sesame Street.”

“One, Two, Kimmy’s coming for you…HA! HA! HA!”

“Three, Four, there will be blood and gore…HA! HA! HA!”

“Five, Six, grab your crucifix…HA! HA! HA!”

“Seven, eight, gonna smash you in the head with a steel plate…HA! HA! HA!”

“Nine Ten, you will never EVER survive again…HA! HA! HA!”

Williams playfully salutes the camera. “See how easy that was?! That can be you? You have a great future as a kid’s tv host! In fact, after making peace with Penguin and Bear, I can probably get you a job on that show of theirs. Just put on an owl costume and be The One Owl! You would fit in great with the Happy Farmstead Friends! That is an awesome fallback career for someone like you, just in case you cannot survive the pain that I am bringing to Philly. And believe me, Onesie, I am definitely bringing the pain. Mommy is angry and she has to exorcise some of these aggressive violent feelings leftover from Rise To Greatness, and it seems as if SCW has nominated you to be…The ONE…” Kim throws her head back and laughs hysterically, again due to her unintentional pun.

“Damn, I crack myself up!” Kim shakes her head. “But enough of the fun and games. Tomorrow night we get down to business. Rise To Greatness may not have been the most successful night of my career. Hell, let’s be realistic, it was downright crap. But there is only ONE…” she chuckles again at her unintentional pun “...ONE way to go from here and that is UP! I will work my way back, I will become Underground Champion for a third time, and my road towards number Three begins with The One!” Kim playfully waves at the camera. “See you tomorrow night, Onesie!”
