She did her best to maintain the confident, celebratory look as she strolled the halls, walking as if she had just won her match without the slightest issue. She forced her feet to step smoothly from heel to toe, her legs to bend and move without the slightest trembling, her back to remain straight and strong, her neck to be held just a little up in contentment and confidence – even though every aforementioned part of her was in some kind of pain ranging from aches to her wishing she could have some sort of painkiller.

God damn that woman… Selena felt her jaw clench as she managed to make it to her changeroom, the SCW world championship over her shoulder. Of course she would have a ‘reserved changeroom’ for herself on top of her limo-bus. First of all, she was the world champion and she had an image to maintain. Second of all, the last thing she wanted was to draw too much attention to herself OUTSIDE of SCW strolling around a parking lot in her wrestling attire. People hated her enough.

A shaky breath escaped the Snow Queen as the door closed behind her, allowing the woman to lean her back against it. To say her ‘popularity’ had taken a nosedive worthy of Lucifer’s fall from heaven would, actually, have been an understatement. She was, currently, the most hated superstar in all of SCW – for what, she had no idea, other than perhaps ‘going with it’ and insulting the fans’ intelligence and opinions - but they started it! she mentally whined. Still, the backlash from such a turn had been shocking, even for the platinum-blonde. She had seen the forums and social media, people swearing and cursing at her for beating superstars, for swooping in and taking the world title shot from people, then taking the world title from the latest batch of ‘popular’ wrestlers in SCW. It was to a point where fans were cheering hated superstars like Asher Hayes and Religious Wright over her. She would have marvelled at this created hatred by the SCW Universe – the dynamic reverse of where she had been even a year ago in comparison - if part of it wasn’t so terrifying.

What had happened to her and Stallis in that bar months ago –that had just been the tip of the iceberg. She had received her first real ‘death threat from a fan’. Of course, it had been in all caps and with a dozen or so emojis, but it had been clear. An angry fan, who ‘believed in Selena throughout it all’ felt betrayed by her ‘change’ and was coming to ‘get her for good’ or something to that effect.

Was she scared? No. The internet was full of trolls trying to get fifteen seconds of fame, like Kandis being World Champion. Still, she would be lying if there wasn’t some concern, especially when fans were capable of throwing stuff at her, as they had done at house shows and a few times while she had made her exit from arenas. It was why she needed a changeroom as well. Of course, she was always crafty, always waiting to see if anyone was around, leaving early or in the middle of the show if she had nothing else to do/accomplish, or even waiting until the shows were long over if she held the main-event, which had been the case tonight.

Immediately, Selena felt a wash of relief flood over her, the what-ifs of disgruntled SCW fans replaced by the satisfaction she felt.

Tonight had gone better than she had imagined. Not only had she defeated Kandis, thus retaining the SCW world championship and laying to rest her claims that Rise to Greatness had been nothing but a fluke win by the porn-star, but she had gotten Kandis so worked up over such a loss that she had swung at officials… and even hit CHBK!

Even the Snow Queen had not anticipated that! She had ignored the goings on – or at least pretended to – celebrating in the ring as if Kandis no longer mattered. And, in truth, Selena hoped that was the case. She was tired of listening to the woman mouth off on social media and promos about her ‘one win against the Snow Queen’. Of being the woman’s ‘greatest claim to fame’.

She’s no different than Allocco, Cain, and Marshall. she told herself. Someone that piggybacked off me for a spurt – a moment – of feeling important.

She sighed at that. It had happened so gradually over the last ten years, that Selena hadn’t really thought about it until after she had left SCW. How ‘beating Selena Frost’ was on the same level now as winning the world championship at Rise to Greatness. Everyone wanted to be ‘the one’ to take her down. Because beating her, it made you a somebody. People demanded world title shots, main-event status, and more, if they just beat Selena Frost once.

But what did Selena get for beating them? What did she earn for her work? It wasn’t the same. Even now, while beating Kandis gave her all the satisfaction in the world, Selena was not delusional enough to believe that it would have the same ‘reaction’ or ‘aftermath’ as Kandis had received in her fluke win, being exalted to the nth degree and heralded as the new big star of SCW.

Still, Selena could enjoy the win herself. She would flaunt her status. She would defy whatever the fans wanted and whatever the management hoped to achieve. Things were going to run her way – slowly but surely – and people would have no choice but to either step up or step aside.

Content in that mindset, the platinum-blonde checked the clock hanging on the wall, reading the time as nearing the half-hour mark of 11pm. Wanting to give herself a little more time, and also to give security more time to escort Kandis out of the arena – the Snow Queen had no desire to deal with that poor sport’s antics and a potential ‘backstage assault’ - Selena quietly spotted her street-clothes – cleaned and ironed - perfectly hung on the rack (thanks to her new assistant/chauffer), and slowly began to strip out of her outfit. She took her time showering in the large bathroom, letting the hot water wash her hair and body before changing it to the coldest setting to cleanse and energize herself.

Kandis was out of the picture. Selena was sure about that. Their match tonight had been written as a one-off, Kandis getting her deserved rematch for the title she lost to Asher, and while she had come close – closer than Selena cared to admit – Kandis’ loss meant that there was no more ‘handed opportunities’ to either of them - besides… a smug smile crossed Selena’s features as she continued to be soaked by the showering water. I highly doubt Alex will be giving her anything after she punched him in the jaw!

There was no way! Not even Selena had assaulted officials or management. Called them out? Insulted them? You bet, but assault? That was stupid on a level that she couldn’t believe. There would be a time and a place where she could imagine herself superkicking CHBK’s head-off, but tonight had NOT been it! But Kandis had done it… screwing herself over! Just like Wright blasting her with the chair after her own actions – it was all Kandis’ own fault! It was hilarious!

No… the Blue-Eyed Devil was quite sure that Kandis would be out of her hair for a while now. There were no more rematch clauses. Asher Hayes was gone, which meant there wasn’t a single person with a ‘claim’ to a shot against her except ‘The One’ Kristen Scott, due to Fatal Fortunes. And even if that was who was next, the next step was the same.

Continued dominance. The continued statement that, whether SCW liked it or not, Selena was going to be the SCW world champion, the center of attention, the poster-child, the Face of SCW. They could have let her stay away, but they refused, dragging her name through the mud and using her for cheap heat and cheap tickets sales. Well… now she was going to run the place until someone could step up and take her place. Not just beat her. Not just get lucky like Kandis had, but be a better superstar than her in every sense of the world!

And from what she had seen since her return, the platinum-blonde sincerely doubted such a wrestler was even in SCW, let alone one that could rise to such heights. Just means a longer reign… and more of that bonus for me and the children. she shrugged as she turned off the water and stepped out of the shower, drying off with a towel. She was dressed in a matter of minutes. Gathering her gear and title and stuffing them into her bag, she opened the door and stepped out of the changeroom. There were a few techs and superstars still around but no one paid her any mind as she travelled down the halls, turning here and there to get to the parking lot.

Yes, continued dominance would be the best way to go. A match on Breakdown or the Breakdown after? Absolutely! She had let things run their course with Kandis, Selena letting her match with Wright end as it did to further mess with Kandis. Now? No, the road was clear and she needed matches that emphasized and reminded the SCW Universe who she was and what she was capable of. They could hate her and boo her as loudly as they want, but when social media was, begrudgingly, stating that ‘this is Selena’s world… we just live in it..’ – she smiled at that – THAT was what she wanted to force SCW into. Hate her, boo her, don’t even believe in her… but they would acknowledge her! Or simply be made fools of…

Still, she breathed as she walked quietly down the halls, it was on her too. Her next match needed to be a LOUD statement, regardless of whoever it was against. The toughest in the business like Xander, the entirety of LexyCorp, champions like Bree or Light in the Darkness, the legends like Simon Lyman or Chris Cannon (if he was going to be back or not as a wrestler, she wasn’t sure), the rookies like Enigma – it didn’t matter.

I mean… it DOES matter… she reasoned. She couldn’t just ‘wing it’ with a veteran like Xander, Syren, or Simon, or anyone of their calibre. She would need to study and learn and figure out a strategy before she even stepped foot into the arena. The homework was affected by the opponent, yes, but it didn’t matter who the opponent was – because the result would need to be the same.

With her winning. With her establishing that, not only on Pay-Per-Views, but on Breakdowns as well, she would be standing tall, she would be ‘The Blue-Eyed Devil’ and world-

Her thoughts were interrupted by the sound of a doorknob, the world champion turning to the side of the hall she occupied just in time to see a door swing open… and a mass of red poke its head out. It turned away from Selena before turning towards her, too fast for Selena to move away, the platinum-blonde too surprised to do anything but stare as the redhead saw her, their eyes widening before their expression morphed from shock to utter frustration.

“Oh, come on!!” Deanna Frost cried out. “Seriously?” she asked as she stomped around the small space. “Do you hate me or something?” she called up to the ceiling, Selena assuming her wife meant the remark to God or something. “What are you even doing here?” Deanna barked out after a second.

“Uh…well, funny story.” Selena shrugged. “But I work here! You wanna see my credentials?”

Instead of a playful answer, Deanna rolled her eyes before reaching down to pull up her own dufflebag, throwing it over her shoulder. Unlike Selena, she was still in her wrestling clothes. “Can you just count to one hundred or something?” she asked, her eyes not entirely meeting Selena’s, but rather staying down a little to look over her shoulder or past her or something – the older Frost wasn’t sure which.

“Count to one hundred?” she raised an eyebrow at the question.
“Yeah.” Deanna shrugged. “Like stand there, don’t move, and count to one hundred. I’ll rush out of the arena and-“
“And play hide and seek?” Selena asked. “I’m really tired, Deanna-“
“I’ll get out of your way!” Deanna firmly, and a bit louder, stated. “I’ll get out of your way and you can be out of mine.”

It took only a second for Selena to understand what her wife was really asking to be done, which was just long enough to annoy the world champion.

“Oh for gods’ sake.” She shook her head. “We’re both adults, Deanna. If we can’t take a simple walk to the parking lot together, then I think we have bigger problems than we realized other than ‘work drama’.”

She stood there, sapphire eyes locked on Deanna as the redhead’s gaze slowly found Selena’s. Still, the younger woman remained silent, causing the platinum-blonde to shake her head. “Fine, whatever.” She quickly adjusted her own bag over her shoulder. “You want to be this way? You stay here and count to one hundred.” She challenged before marching past her.

“Unbelievable…” the world champion grumbled under her breath. “Grown ass woman… wants me to count to one hundred…” she shook her head as she marched – until she was almost scared out of her skin by the voice that was still so close to her.

“I heard that.”
“Geez!” Selena cried out as her wife walked beside her, daringly. “Well…” she took a small breath to compose herself. “Well, good… that you heard that, I mean!” she explained. “Utterly ridiculous. Like you’re afraid you’ll get cooties or something.”

“No, I just…” Deanna tried before closing her mouth.
“If it was such a big deal.” Selena asked as she reached the door to the outside, pushing it open while, instinctively, holding it open for Deanna to exit past as well. “Then why didn’t you leave earlier after your match? Pretty sure there were a few matches between yours and mine.”

For a moment, she felt Deanna’s eyes on her, but she chose to ignore her, focusing her attention on the large limo-bus that loomed in the distance at the other end of the parking lot.

“Medics wanted to check.” Deanna shrugged with her answer, Selena catching it out of the corner of her eye. “Alex – CHBK, I mean…” she corrected. “Was insistent after the match.”

“Was it that bad?”

The question seemed to stop Deanna in her tracks for a moment and Selena felt her ways eyes on the back of her shoulder blades.

“Didn’t you watch it?” came the question from behind her.
“No, I didn’t.” the world champion quickly answered, refusing to let her walk falter, adopting the same steps as she had when she first left the ring after beating Kandis – everything pretending to work as if they weren’t fazed…

“Right… of course you didn’t.” she heard the whispered reply behind her but pretended to ignore it, despite the stab of guilt it put in her heart. Of course she had watched the damned match! She had stayed in her limo-bus partially for appearance, partially to not be distracted, but, lastly, so she could watch her wife’s match from her bedroom in the back of the bus and nobody would know – gods she had even chosen to wear noise-cancelling headphones so even her driver wouldn’t have a clue. “…So I was kinda out of it.”

“What?” Selena asked, turning her head. “I didn’t hear that last part.”
“I said I took some rough shots. So I was kinda out of it by the time I got to the back afterwards. CHBK just wanted me to be checked. By the time they were done, I had to shower and whatever, but then I was worried of running into you, so I tried to stall.” She heard her grumble under her breath. “I knew I should have waited another five minutes…” but, again, chose to ignore it.

What she could not ignore after the third time of seeing it, however, was Deanna holding something, the redhead using her free hand to gesture from one side of the parking lot they travelled to another, pushing her thumb down on something.

“Better to be safe than sorry.” She settled on saying, continuing to watch Deanna out of the corner of her eye.
“That’s what he said.” Deanna replied, pointing and clicking her thumb down again. “And I guess you were right…” she added with a shrug of her shoulders. “You didn’t need any luck from me.”

“Told you.” Selena answered automatically as she turned the corner to stand before her limo-bus. “There was no way I was letting her beat me again.”

“Yeah…” Deanna answered distantly, her hand now moving left and right and her thumb pressing down at a faster pace. “I could have used it…” again, that grumbling under her breath, but Selena got it full this time. Once more, however, she chose not to say anything, instead focusing her attention on her wife’s incessant pointing and clicking something in her hand!

“Okay, what are you doing?” she finally asked, turning around fully to engage her wife, surprising the redhead.

It took only a second for Deanna to register the movement, but she eventually held up her hand, revealing the black-device with metal keys on it. “Trying to hear my rent-a-car going off. I keep pushing the ‘lock’ button.”

“Why?” Selena asked. “Don’t you remember where you parked it?”

She watched her wife suddenly go silent, the redhead’s gaze falling to the ground.

“You don’t remember.” The platinum-blonde concluded.
“I know it’s around here…somewhere.” Deanna looked out into the distance. “I just… can’t remember where. I’ve had a lot on my mind and… I’m really tired and I’m dizzy and…”

Without a word, Selena seized the car keys out of Deanna’s hand, earning a ‘Hey!’ from the redhead. Unfettered, the world champion held the device up and pressed the ‘Alarm’ button, immediately listening in for any loud honks – much more persistent than a ‘locked car check’. It took a second before her ears picked up the sound halfway east from where they stood. “There it is.” She pointed, immediately pressing the alarm button off.

“Thanks.” Deanna sighed, taking the keys out of Selena’s hand, only for Selena to pull them away. “What are you doing?”

“You’re not driving as you are.” She laughed. “Are you crazy?”
“Eric is a phone call away.” Deanna tried. “He probably went to get some McDonald’s cause I’m starving.”

“Good.” Selena remarked. “Then he can come to us.” Reaching into her pocket, the Snow Queen shot a quick text to the man who’s number she still had. With a turn, she moved closer to her bus until she stood at the door. Knocking on it, she waited for it to open, allowing the tall, Amazon of a woman step out. She was a good three or four inches taller than Selena and, despite her black leggings and shirt (or perhaps with assistance from them), she cut a full, trim and powerful figure.

“Yes, Mrs. Frost?” she asked, staring down at the woman, who held up Deanna’s keys to her.
“New plan, Otrera.” Selena remarked, nowhere near fazed, unlike Deanna, but the powerful woman. “I need you to head that way-“ she gestured towards the section of the parking lot she had heard the alarm. “-find the car to those keys, drive the car to…what’s the address?” she asked Deanna.

“Wha…you don’t…”

“Just give her the address, Deanna.” Selena ordered firmly, surprised when her wife immediately gave it. “Take it there, drop it off and we’ll meet you at the front, okay?”

“Understood.” Otrera nodded, taking the offered keys and marching away, using them the same away Selena had to find the car’s location.

“Thanks, Ra.” Selena called back before turning her attention to Deanna. “You.” She gestured towards the bus. “On you go.”

“I don’t-“ Deanna pressed through this time. “I don’t need you taking me home!”

“It’s a 36 hours drive, Deanna.” Selena sighed. “And you probably have a concussion if you don’t remember where you parked and your dizzy and not feeling well.”

“I…” Deanna started but was cut off by Selena.

“Eric will drive the bus, Ra will deliver your rent-a-car back, we’ll meet her there and then the four of us can travel back to Manhattan.” Selena reasoned. “Or you can make Eric drive you all 36 hours by himself, seeing as you’re in no position to drive.”

“I…” Deanna stammered before slumping a little, knowing she was beaten. With a shove, she pushed by her wife to get on the familiar bus, making her way to the nearby couch to plop down on it with her bag. “Happy now?”

For her answer, Selena merely gave a shrug. “Not quite… but I’m willing to work on it if you are.”

The Royal Letter

The camera opens up to the sight of luxurious penthouse. The sun is streaming in through the large window, casting sunbeams onto the hardwood floors. There is an elegant stone fireplace built into the far wall, that seems meant for the décor of stone and tapestry. It is beyond clear what kind of sitting room this is. This is akin to a castle interior, which only seems to resonate with the woman sitting in the dark-red throne room chair. She wears a gorgeous black gown and her hair is tied in its iconic braid. She has some makeup around her eyes, the dark-purple and red seeming to make her sapphire eyes sparkle with beauty and power. To put to rest any question as to who this woman, the world championship, the SCW’s top-tier title, rests comfortably on its own table right next to her. Her gaze has been on it as the camera faded in, and she trails a finger slowly around the centerpiece.

So… SCW Universe… she turns her gaze over to the camera, her eyes shining as she grins knowingly. Do you believe?

She gives a tilt of her head, almost mockingly. Or is it still not registering in your little minds? Did I not say that I held all the cards? Did I not say that you would not see the same mistake – the same fluke – that was Rise to Greatness last year? Did I not say that I was going to remain the SCW World Champion after making Kandis dance to MY tune?

And did I, once, tell a lie?
she moves her head the other way, her smile never breaking.

That just ticks you off the most, doesn’t it, SCW? I know it ticks Kandis off. It’s that I, literally, did nothing wrong to deserve your hate. You hate me and Kandis hates me simply because I am honest. Simply because I prove what I say. I said Kandis didn’t deserve to be SCW world champion and I proved it. I said that Kandis’ win against me was a fluke – a manifestation of my exhaustion, her mind games, and your jealousy messing with my mind, with a less-than-reputable CHBK calling the whole thing to mess with me.

And what did I do? I removed those factors! I made sure Kandis was at her best when she faced me by invoking a no contact rule.
I ensured that there would ZERO bias officiating by having the best of the best referees calling the match.
I ensured none of you, or Kandis, had any control on me or any mind games on me.

She laughs a little. You don’t think I could have slipped in another clause to screw her over if I wanted to? I could have had her locked in a cage with me. I could have had her lose any future title shot with me. I could have had the Starmaker banned. We all saw how stupid she is! She would have signed it just to get her hands on me. But I didn’t. Because this wasn’t about just beating Kandis. This wasn’t about simply retaining MY world title – that’s right, MY world title – against a halfway decent opponent.

This was about proving that I was, am and will always be BETTER than her. This was about, when the battlefield is level – when the odds are even – there is ZERO question who is the better and more deserving superstar to be the SCW world champion!

She casts another glance at the world title.

And this was about proving that Kandis NEVER deserved to be in this title’s division in the first place! She proved that as she utterly failed to be the world champion I was in her absence. SCW needed to keep mentioning MY name every show just to keep people engaged. They needed to falsely promote MY return just to get viewers. If Kandis was the world champion she claims to be, that would be her able to do that. That would be her job to do. She couldn’t!

And I’ll give her credit. She has you, SCW Universe. She’s got you interested and cheering for her, which is more of a statement to you and your lack of integrity and morals than anything else, but I digress. I don’t care whether or not Kandis stays in SCW or not after this. If she packs up and quits like Asher because losing to me is SO heartbreaking! Oh no! Or if she stays and vows eternal vengeance on me. Fine, whatever. Get in line! There’s enough people that want that. I do not care. She can have you, her OnlyFans or whatever she has, and she can promise you all the moon. But she can do that in another division. She can do that in the Adrenaline, or the United States, or hell, since she loves being in the spotlight so much, she can be the Television Champion so she can wrestle every day.

The Blue-Eyed Devil shakes her head. She can have any of that. But now? And I’m telling you this, Kandis. Stay out of MY division. You don’t belong there. I proved that. I proved that beyond a shadow of a doubt. You proved it beyond a shadow of a doubt. You don’t deserve the title, the accolades, the prestige, just because you got lucky with ONE match. Just because you’ve got some perverted, morally-corrupt fools on your side.

A laugh escapes her. I mean, look at the facts, Kandis. You couldn’t even give me what you OWED me. she laughs again. Despite your win being a fluke, I left the ring and gave you your moment in the spotlight. I GAVE you your time to celebrate at Rise to Greatness. I GAVE you all that you desired to live up your ‘moment’.

Did you do the same when it was asked of you? When I told Aaron to tell you to get the hell out of MY ring?

No. You couldn’t do it! You couldn’t do it! You threw a fit, you tried to attack me. You tried to taint MY victory – the truth – just so you could stay relevant! Just so you can try and keep in MY world. Just so you could have some ‘last laugh’ or something to hold onto and stay in MY division.

Selena scoffs. Pathetic. And you wonder why I say you don’t deserve this? You can’t even lose gracefully to a clearly better opponent. You can’t even bow out with any dignity. No, you have to be the woman I always knew you were. A brat. An unprofessional fool, who justifies attacking INNOCENT officials and management. But I am sure CHBK will deal with you after such a display…

For now? I am going to do what I did at the end of our match and just ignore you. I dismissed you from my ring and my division and this is the last I will speak of you as someone ‘deserving of my world championship’ – because Retribution proved you don’t fit the bill.

She dismisses the notion with a wave of her hand.

Rather, I want to focus on what’s ahead. I want to focus on what’s coming up next. And I’ll have a chance at Breakdown to talk about that, I am sure. But to put it simply? I want more. I want more challengers. I want new challengers. This title needs a contender! A NEW contender. And, what’s more, because I’m feeling in such a good mood, I want to give more! I won’t just be talking about this title’s future, I want to be showing the future of SCW… by fighting! By wrestling! Yes, I plan to wrestle Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! I mean, it’s no Philadelphia – you guys don’t have a Rocky statue – but SCW should be getting one of me pretty soon… she teases with a playful laugh.

Doubt that will ever happen – but if it does, least I’ll have earned it, not bought it like Stallone. But moving on, I am excited, you know? I am! I am excited to be wrestling on Breakdown. Because last time, well, I didn’t get a chance to display how things run in my ‘Breakdown’ matches. I didn’t get a chance to show the TV-crowd what they need to be getting used to.

My last Breakdown match, well, I said I wasn’t going to talk about her anymore, so I’ll just say that it ended sooner than I wanted to. Hey! Blame the bitter brat. Not me.

But this coming Breakdown? That isn’t going to happen. No, I am going to display the full talent and power of The Blue-Eyed Devil. I’m going to display just how dominant I intend to be in EVERY show! In EVERY match!

She takes a moment to pause, another smile forming across her pale features. And, I gotta be honest… I’m sort of ‘feeling the fun’ about who I am facing…

Simon Lyman…
she laughs a little. I mean, how fun does that sound? I get to face ‘Mr. Midlife Crisis’! she laughs again. Seriously! How else do you explain it? I mean, the man’s gone through more gimmick changes than Jason Zero! Oh yeah, I’ve heard about that! SCW’s Hall of Fame has some odd ducks in there, let me tell you! But Simon, he’s now got some ‘divine purpose’, a divine rod up his ass or something! Because he’s walking around telling people he’s now ‘Savior Simon’ and coming to save all of SCW…

Wait…
She looks away. Is that right? I’m fighting ‘the savior of SCW’? Christian Savior? No, wait, he’s retired. Oh! It’s gotta be Cid Turner, right? Gleebnorb has risen from the dead, right? No… OH! Okay! I got it! Giovanni Aries! Looking to ‘take me on the ride’ with his version of SCW – the Wonderland?

No… no I’m not.
she shakes her head sadly. I know I am facing Simon Lyman. I know that this new ‘savior’ is Simon Lyman.

And Simon, the reason I am laughing and saddened at the same time… is because I pity you. Not your skills or ability, gods no. Former world champion, right? Came back from retirement? Brought the fight? Brought the edge, right? Gavin Taylor? Chase Owens? Just a few names that have fallen to you…

But what happened to the ‘hero’?
She smiles knowingly.

I mean, what happened to the ‘hero of SCW’? The man that vowed to protect SCW and the world championship? What happened to that man, Simon? I mean, you got close! You ALMOST beat Kandis, right? You ALMOST beat Asher Hayes, right? You ALMOST became SCW world champion twice this year, right? So what happened? Why didn’t you do it? Why weren’t you the ‘Male Wrestler of the Year’? What changed? Did you lose your confidence? Did you have some kind of epiphany?

Her gaze lowers a little, her head tilting down to glare into the camera.

Or did you realize what Kandis now knows? Did you realize that, try as you might, you would NEVER be the hero that I was, just like Kandis knows she will NEVER be the world champion I am? Did you realize that you couldn’t be what I am and couldn’t do what I do, so you switched gears on the fly and tried something new-

I could… I could almost laugh at such a desperate ploy for attention, Simon… except you’re still trying to be me.
Her smile is gone, her glare is cold.

You’re still trying to be what I was to SCW. You’re still trying to take my place in this business. Trying to save SCW? Like I tried to save its integrity? Like I tried to save its name as ‘Supreme Championship Wrestling’. Cause if it worked for me for a number of years, it’ll work for you, right?

Except you insult me with this mocked up version. You insult me by mixing MY messages of old with a Cid Turner-like spew. “Follow me! I’ll save you, Sister Selena! I’ll show you the way!”

You think I need to be shown the way, Simon? Look at me! I’m the World Champion! I’m the most decorated superstar in SCW history! I’m untouchable! You? You’re a burnout! A man that came back wanting the return I had, except he couldn’t do it! He couldn’t get the job done despite being HANDED two opportunities. So let me ask you, Simon. Why the hell would I follow a man who can’t even save himself? Why would I believe in your ‘path’ when every path, from your career to your relationships, has lead to ruin?

Because what do you have? A number one contender spot for the Adrenaline championship? Bravo! Good job! Maybe you can get lucky with Bree and sweep her out. But getting me ‘in line’ with you?
A small growl escapes her. You insult me. You use my name and my messages for own advancement, and I am done being insulted and being used like that!

This Breakdown, Simon, I intend on giving a full match, but you’re going to be wishing that you had more of a match like Religious Wright had with me. Because I am going to take my time with you and show you the difference between you and me. I am going to show you why you failed as a hero and why you will, inevitably, fail as a savior. Because SCW does not need a savior. It does not need to be saved.

A wicked grin returns to her features. It needs a devil… and it needs to be ruled. Dominated.

I am going to do just that. But I want you to enjoy this time, Simon. I do! Amidst the beatdown and the embarrassment, I want you to enjoy this match. Because I am going to do something for you that no one has been able to do.
She tilts her head. I’m gonna make Pittsburgh – I’m gonna make the whole SCW Universe – cheer for you!

Her smile widens and a laugh leaves her. I’m gonna make the whole city of Pittsburgh, the whole state of Philadelphia, the WHOLE world, cheer for you, Simon! You’ll hear it! ‘Let’s go, Simon! Kick her ass!’. ‘Let’s go, Simon! Kick her ass!’.

I’m gonna make you feel special! Believed in! Hoped for! I’m going to make you feel like you truly have people that believe in you, ‘Savior’ Simon…

Just so I can see your face when you realize the truth.
Her smile disappears and her cold glare returns. That it’s not you they’re liking… it’s me they’re hating. That it’s not you they’re believing in… it’s me they’re desperately trying not to believe in. That it’s not you they want to win… it’s me they want to lose…

A smirk forms. That’s how GOOD I am. That’s how much BETTER I am than you. And I’m gonna let you realize it in that ring, Simon… right before I kick that expression right off your deluded, wrinkled face!

She takes a slow breath. Have fun in your little world of the Adrenaline, Simon. Because after this Breakdown, you’re not gonna belong in my kingdom again. Whether you want to believe it… one last head tilt. Or not.

The camera focuses on the Snow Queen, fading slowly to black as she sits in her chair – seemingly untouchable from the SCW Universe…
