Under Attack has come and gone. Glory Braddock did exactly what she set out to do. She went in, exploited the weaknesses of Magical Cosmic Princess YUYO, and she ultimately regained the SCW Adrenaline Championship. It was a very special moment for The British Bombshell; this title was the first championship she won when she first signed her SCW contract, now she has won it again. This is also special because she proved YUYO and any other critics and doubters wrong. YUYO tried to throw The British Bombshell under the bus, she tried to pass the blame for the Trios Tournament defeat onto Glory Braddock. But The British Bombshell proved it was certainly not her fault, not at all. She choked YUYO out with Shekhinah Glory. She ripped the Adrenaline Championship away from her. Braddock will not get much time to celebrate this second reign as Adrenaline Champion. Glory recognizes the challenge that she now faces in the form of Fatal Fortunes. The British Bombshell will be going into Fatal Fortunes without any knowledge of her opponent…or possibly opponents…in her Adrenaline Title defense. Will she defend against one person or two? Or three? What other match might she got thrown into? Could she possibly get another title opportunity? Fatal Fortunes is impossible to prepare for and that is what makes it a challenge, not only for Glory Braddock but all of the SCW wrestlers. She has no idea what to prepare for, who to prepare for, but she does know that her championship will be on the line. Braddock’s primary focus is to do whatever is necessary to retain her championship. Fatal Fortunes puts her title reign in major jeopardy.

In the meantime, Glory Braddock has plans to introduce her youngest daughter, Dawn Logan, into the world of professional wrestling. The British Bombshell recently learned that Dawn got into a fight. After talking with her husband Kurt and their oldest daughter Melinda, it was decided that it might be a good idea to introduce Dawn to the world of professional wrestling. Kurt wasn’t too keen on Dawn fighting people for a living and, quite honestly, neither was Glory. But the fact is that they cannot shield Dawn from professional wrestling, especially since both Glory and Kurt come from that world. Dawn is very likely to want to follow in their footsteps, whether as a wrestler or in some other form, perhaps a manager or a commentator. So Braddock decided to bring her youngest child to visit the Braddock Wrestling School, her own birthright.

The wrestling school gym is a mix of gritty functionality and hints of professional polish. The smell of sweat and rubber fills the air, a testament to the hours of intense training that take place here. The walls are painted a dull gray, adorned with posters of legendary wrestlers who have graduated from this very school, most of these posters are of the founder himself, Glory’s father Glenn Braddock. A few championship belts in glass cases are displayed near the entrance, serving as a reminder of what’s possible for those who train here. At the center of the gym is the main attraction: a full-sized wrestling ring with red ropes and a blue canvas mat, its corners padded and adorned with the school’s logo. The ring sits under a series of bright overhead lights, which reflect off its slightly scuffed surface. Around it are rows of chairs where trainees can observe, currently stacked neatly along one wall. Scattered throughout the rest of the space are workout stations; a rack of free weights, a bench press, a speed bag, and a punching dummy. A large mat area occupies another corner, used for grappling drills, its foam padding covered in dark blue vinyl. A chalkboard mounted nearby has today’s drills and reminders written in bold letters, accompanied by a calendar with upcoming wrestling events. In a side area, there’s a video setup with a TV and a camera for students to review their practice matches, surrounded by mismatched chairs and a worn-out couch. A whiteboard hangs above it, marked with a list of names and rankings that seem to carry serious weight to those who train here.

Glory Braddock stands tall and confident as she leads her daughter, Dawn, through the gym. Glory’s golden hair is tied back into a sleek ponytail, her outfit a blend of athletic and casual: a fitted black tank top that shows off her toned arms, paired with gray track pants and black sneakers. Her demeanor is equal parts professional and maternal, her piercing blue eyes scanning the room as if recalling memories of her own training days. Dawn, a bright-eyed preteen with hair tied in a loose braid, mirrors her mother’s athletic vibe. She’s dressed in a pale pink hoodie with a wrestling school logo emblazoned on the chest, dark leggings, and white sneakers. She clutches a water bottle in one hand, her other hand resting against her mother’s arm as she listens intently. Her wide-eyed gaze flits from the ring to the equipment, her expression a mixture of awe and budding excitement.

“And this is it Dawnie,” Glory says with a warm, maternal tone “this is your grandfather’s wrestlings school, this is your legacy.”

“Really?” Dawn seems to be in awe as she takes in all of the surroundings. “So you trained here?”

“Uh-huh,” Glory nods her head “I was your grandfather’s first student. When he could no longer wrestle, when he had to retire, he wanted to find a way to leave a legacy, to still leave an impact upon the wrestling world. This is it. He felt the best way to give back and to continue to leave an impact would be to train the next generation. Your aunt Julia also trained here, as did your sister Melinda.”

“Who else?” Dawn asks, eager to learn more.

“Well my friend Matthew for one. Destiny Blair. Sophie O’Brian. So many former champions have come through this place and have learned so much from your grandfather. That’s his legacy, Dawnie.” Glory sighs. “And even though he may not be here with us physically, he is still with us spiritually, his ideas and philosophy live on through this school and those who continue to run it.” Braddock takes Dawn by her hand. “Come on, this way…”

Dawn nods her head and allows her mother to guide her closer towards the wrestling ring. Braddock hops up onto the apron and then assists Dawn in climbing onto the apron. Glory then holds the ropes open, allowing her daughter to step inside much easier. Glory then joins her inside the ring. Once inside the ring they are met by a tall, built individual who Glory recognizes immediately and smiles warmly. Dawn, however, does not seem to recognize him.

“Dawn…this is my good friend and the head trainer at the school, Randall Williams.” Glory motions to Dawn. “Randall, this is my youngest daughter, Dawn.”

“Nice to meet you, Dawn.” Randall smiles and offers his hand. Dawn reluctantly accepts the handshake. “I heard you might be interested in following in your mom’s footsteps?”

“Maybe.”

“Well if you are then this is certainly the place to do it.” Randall states. “Many world champions have come through this place.

“We have a party in here or somethin’?” The booming voice comes from an even larger, more muscular individual who enters the ring. Dawn is startled at first and turns around but smiles upon seeing him. She recognizes him, and the woman who follows him closely behind…Mark O’Brian and his sister Sophie, Glory’s closest childhood friends and two other trainers at the Braddock Wrestling School.

“Marky!” Dawn rushes over and hugs Mark tightly.

“You got quite a grip there, kid!” Mark exclaims.

“No one told us we were having visitors.” Sophie chuckles softly as she pats Dawn on the head.

“It was kind of a last minute thing.” Glory says shrugging her shoulders before embracing Sophie in a big hug. “Nice to see you, Sophie.”

“It’s always a pleasure, Gloria.” She looks over at Dawn. “So your youngest is finally deciding to follow the family tradition?”

“Well we aren’t fully certain of that yet.” Glory says. “It’s just something she’s exploring, that’s all.”

“Oh be honest with yourself, Gloria,” Sophie scoffs “we all knew it would happen eventually. The moment your father, the great Glenn Braddock, made a name for himself in Europe as a professional wrestler, it was fate, it was destined that his family line would follow in his footsteps. You did…your oldest did…now your youngest is.”

“Maybe.” Glory says. “Even if she does, she isn’t sure she wants to be a full time wrestler. She might want to be a manager or a commentator or serve in some other capacity.”

“Whatever the capacity may be, she would still be involved in wrestling and still following the family tradition.” Sophie winks.

The British Bombshell prepares her next argument when another gentleman enters the ring. He is definitely not built like the rest nor is he dressed like a trainer or a wrestler. He is young, one of the assistants. The kid has a package in hand as he approaches Glory Braddock.

“Ms. Braddock…if I may…” he holds out the package “...uh, you have a package.”

“A package?” Glory furrows her brow out of curiosity. “No one was expecting me today. How did they know to send me any mail?”

“I don’t know, Ms. Braddock. It just arrived earlier today and had your name on it.”

Glory looks at the package. This certainly is unusual. Everyone knows that her permanent residence is now Miami, Florida. She rarely visits London anymore and this particular visit was a surprise to everyone. Someone knew, however, and dropped off this package. But how? And why? And what is it? Before Glory can say anything her thought process is interrupted.

“You know, Gloria, you obviously have a great deal on your mind.” Sophie says with a sweet smile. She takes Dawn by the hand. “Why don’t you go and take a look at that package? I will give Dawn here the grand tour.”

“That’s fine if Dawn is ok with it.”

“Yeah!” Dawn exclaims.

“Ok then.” Glory chuckles. “You two have fun.”

“Oh we will.” Sophie says as she walks off with Dawn in tow.

Meanwhile Braddock steps through the ropes, out onto the apron, and then off the apron and to the floor. Glory makes a beeline towards her office with the mysterious package in her hand. Glory opens her office door and steps inside. The office is modest in size but exudes a sense of authority. The walls are painted a calming shade of light gray, giving the space an understated elegance. Behind the desk, a large poster of Glory in her prime wrestling days hangs proudly, showcasing her in the ring with her arms raised in victory, a championship belt slung over her shoulder. The desk itself is a solid oak piece with a polished surface, though its edges show signs of wear from years of use. Papers, folders, and a laptop are neatly arranged on the desk. A small, potted plant sits in the corner of the desk, adding a touch of greenery to the room. A pair of chairs with black cushions sit in front of the desk for visitors, their design simple yet comfortable. On the wall opposite the desk, a large whiteboard is mounted, covered with notes, schedules, and motivational quotes written in Glory’s neat handwriting. A calendar hangs nearby, marked with upcoming school events and personal reminders. The room has a single window with blinds partially drawn, letting in a sliver of sunlight that casts long shadows across the polished floor. The hum of activity from the gym outside fades into a muffled background noise. She moves toward the desk, her footsteps soft against the hardwood floor. With a sigh, she lowers herself into the chair behind the desk, and lays the package on the desk.

“So…what are you?” Glory muses out loud as she opens the package. Inside she finds a bunch of meaningless wrapping paper and then, finally, underneath it all, she notices a glimmer, a slight sparkle. She reaches inside and produces a diamond necklace. Glory gasps in shock. “Wow…this is…” she chuckles “...this is beautiful.” Braddock stares at the diamond necklace for a long time, curious as to how it got here and more importantly who sent it. But then she is interrupted with a knocking at the door.

“Come in!” Glory says. The door opens and in walks her own sister, Julia Braddock. Glory smiles nervously, cautiously. She and Julia have had an up and down relationship and, most recently, they clashed over a disagreement regarding how Julia should handle her own adopted daughter. Glory pressured Julia to have DNA testing done to prove whether her adopted daughter was related to a man who claimed to be the girl’s uncle. Julia was vehemently opposed but went along with it anyway. Is she here to argue?

“No one told me you were stopping by for this unexpected visit.” Julia says with a smile on her face as she strolls over and sits in one of the chairs across from the desk. Glory sighs and shrugs her shoulders.

“Sorry, sis, I kinda wanted it to be a surprise. Especially for Dawn.”

“Dawn is here?” She asks. Glory nods her head.

“Yes, she’s outside being given a grand tour of the place right now.”

“I see.” Julia nods her head. “So the youngest is finally following in your footsteps?”

“Possibly.” Glory shrugs her shoulders. “Who knows at this point?”

“You knew she would have inevitably grown curious about the family business.” Julia states. “You and her father both are wrestlers, after all.”

“Yes and that’s why I’m not going to bother trying to shield her from it. There really is no point in trying to hide this life from her, you know? I might as well let her see it all for herself and trust her to make her own decision when the time is right.”

“Sounds like some good advice you gave me.” Julia smirks.

“Oh yeah?”

“Mmhmmm,” Julia nods her head “and I must say, it was brilliant advice. You were right, sister, having the DNA testing done on my daughter and letting her know the truth was the right thing to do.”

“And?” Glory asks. “Don’t keep me in suspense, love. What were the results?”

“Well, for one, my daughter Serena is in fact the missing girl Grace Jefferson. She has no memory of that old life…she’s suffering from some major amnesia, apparently…but she has no desire to leave me. She’s still my daughter.”

“See? I told you that just because she found out about her true past wouldn’t mean that she would leave you, abandon you, especially considering the wonderful job you’ve done as a mother yourself. Now she’ll be able to have her uncle back in her life.”

“Assuming she ever regains her memories.” Julia sighs. Just then Julia notices the diamond necklace and the package. She furrows her brow as she stares at it for a moment. Julia then points at it. “What’s that?”

“A diamond necklace, mate.” Glory says with a wry grin.

“I can see that.” Julia rolls her eyes. “I mean where did you get it?”

“It’s just some package I received today.”

“Do you know who sent it?”

“No clue.” Glory shakes her head.

“Ok, I don’t like this.” Julia says with a frown on her face, studying the necklace closely, almost as if it were a ticking bomb. “You said yourself this was a surprise visit. I’m your sister and even I didn’t know until late that you were coming. Yet someone KNEW you were coming and managed to get this gift to you…”

“Uh-huh…”

“Don’t you find that a little suspicious?” Julia asks. “I think you might have a stalker on your hands, maybe an obsessed fan.”

“A stalker? An obsessed fan?” Glory chuckles. “Jules, you’ve been watching too much television, love.”

“Make it make sense.” Julia insists. “How do you just randomly get a gift like this?!”

“You seem to forget that our father was very famous back in the day and he, too, often received strange gifts from fans and yet none of those proved to be dangerous stalkers.”

“Yes, well, your father had a permanent residence here and those fans knew very well how to get those gifts to him. Also those gifts were very cheap and simple.” Julia picks up the diamond necklace. “This is very expensive, whoever got it for you went to great trouble. And you don’t maintain a residence here any longer. Someone knew you were going to be here despite your big surprise. And yet you’re not concerned?”

“Look, I’ll grant you that it is very odd, but seriously, this is normal, especially for someone famous. And the Braddock family is still very much revered here in England. Most likely this is a fan of the Braddock family hoping that this would somehow get to me.”

“And he got lucky?” Julia asks. Glory nods her head.

“Yeah, that’s it. He got lucky.” Glory takes the diamond necklace out of Julia’s hands. She stares at the diamond necklace admiringly. “And so did I…”

“Yeah, that is a stunning bit of jewelry, I’ll grant you that.” Julia says. “But, uh, be careful. Ok? This still doesn’t sit well with me.”

“I’ll be careful, Jules, trust me.”

After Under Attack had come to its conclusion, Glory Braddock, the newly crowned SCW Adrenaline Champion, chose to spend some time in native home of London, England. She didn’t have any plans for a hero’s welcome. In fact, this was meant to be a surprise return to visit friends at her late father’s wrestling school. Visiting the Braddock Wrestling School served another purpose; Glory’s youngest daughter, Dawn Logan, had expressed interest in possibly following in her footsteps. This was the perfect opportunity to introduce Dawn to professional wrestling so that the youngster could learn and eventually make a good, educated decision on whether or not she truly wants to follow this difficult life of professional wrestling, a trail blazed by both Dawn’s grandfather and mother. But sticking around in London was just impossible for The British Bombshell. As the new SCW Adrenaline Champion, she knows that she has other responsibilities to SCW and to the Adrenaline Division. Glory Braddock also knows that Fatal Fortunes is on the horizon and she faces a very difficult task. She will defend her title for the first time at Fatal Fortunes and she doesn’t even know who her opponent…or opponents…will be. She doesn’t know what type of match she will be defending her title in. Glory Braddock will have to be prepared for anything, and everything, in order to survive Fatal Fortunes. She is returning to her new residence in Miami in order to make preparations for what will no doubt be a challenging two weeks of Fatal Fortunes.

Glory Braddock’s residence in Miami, Florida, is a stunning modern home in an upscale, quiet neighborhood. The house is a two-story structure with clean lines and a white stucco exterior that gleams in the Florida sun. Large windows dominate, framed by sleek black trim, allowing plenty of natural light to flood the interior. The front yard is meticulously landscaped, a vibrant palette of greens and tropical colors. Palm trees flank the driveway, their long fronds swaying gently in the warm breeze. Flowering hibiscus bushes in shades of red, orange, and yellow line the walkway leading to the front door, while smaller planters filled with lush ferns and colorful crotons add texture and vibrancy. The driveway is made of light gray pavers and leads to a spacious, attached garage with frosted glass panels. A few steps from the driveway, a curved pathway made of polished stone cuts through a perfectly manicured lawn, leading to the front door. The lawn itself is a rich emerald green, edged with neatly trimmed hedges. To the side of the house, partially visible from the front, is a fenced backyard with the corner of a sparkling swimming pool glinting in the sunlight.

Glory steps out of her car, her presence commanding as she moves toward her front door. She’s dressed casually but stylishly, a nod to Miami’s laid-back yet fashionable vibe. She wears a sleeveless white blouse tucked into a pair of light-wash denim shorts that end just above her knees, showing off her toned legs. Her feet are clad in tan leather sandals with gold accents, and a wide-brimmed straw hat shields her face from the bright sun. Her blonde hair is tied back in a loose ponytail, and a pair of aviator sunglasses rest on the bridge of her nose, reflecting the lush surroundings. A beige tote bag is slung over one shoulder, and in her other hand, she carries a water bottle. As she approaches the front door, she pauses for a moment, taking in the serene ambiance of her home. The faint scent of saltwater lingers in the air, carried on the breeze from the nearby coast. She exhales softly, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips. The British Bombshell turns the handle of the front door and pushes it open. She steps inside and shuts the door, standing inside briefly to take in the beauty of being back home.

“Kurt!” She exclaims loudly, trying to get the attention of Kurt Logan, her husband. “Kurt, I’m home!” Braddock waits for a few moments until she hears footsteps coming from upstairs. She watches with anticipation as the footsteps get closer. She sees her husband emerge at the bottom of the stairs; he is wearing denim jeans, sneakers, a plain white t-shirt, and his black hair is slicked back. He seems to be troubled by something but whatever it is becomes forgotten the moment he sets his eyes upon his lovely wife. A wide grin forms on his face.

“Welcome home, babe.” Kurt approaches Glory and the two embrace in a long, tight hug. They kiss each other on the lips. The embrace is broken and Kurt looks at Glory, looks over next to her, and then back at Glory. He looks somewhat confused. “Where’s Dawn?”

“She was more interested in my dad’s old wrestling school than I thought.” She smirks. “So I decided to let her stay with Julia for a few more days. Hope you don’t mind.”

“Oh no, of course not.” Kurt shakes his head. “I’m sure your sister will take good care of her. Besides…” he sighs as that looks of nervousness and concern returns to his face “...it might be for the best that she not stick around for awhile.”

“Oh?” Glory arches her brow out of curiosity. “Is something wrong?”

“You could say that.”

Kurt takes Glory by her hand, squeezes it tightly, and then leads her from the hall and into a luxurious living room area, complete with plush carpeting and a nice cream colored luxurious, comfortable sofa. A television screen is mounted on the wall near a marble fireplace mantle. Kurt sits down on the sofa and then Glory Braddock follows suit. The British Bombshell can tell by the look on her husband’s face that something is definitely bothering him and that, in turn, has her concerned as well.

“What is it, Kurt?”

“Some strange things have happened since you were gone.” Kurt says. “I’ve been receiving strange phone calls.”

“Oh come on, love,” Glory scoffs “probably just some bloody salesperson or a robocall or some twat wanting to know about our car’s extended warranty.”

“Yeah, I thought so too at first. But they keep calling and no one ever speaks, no one ever says anything.”

“What about the number?” Glory asks. “We do have caller ID.”

“It’s always marked unlisted or private.”

“And they don’t say anything?” Glory asks again. Kurt shakes his head.

“Not one word. The best I ever get is some heavy breathing on the other end.” He sighs. “Honestly, it was starting to creep me out.”

“What do you think this is?” She asks.

“People know you live here, Glory.” Kurt points out. “If you ask me, I think you might have an obsessed fan.”

“An obsessed fan…” she repeats the word from Kurt. They echo the same sentiment that her sister, Julia Braddock had warned her about when she was back in London and received that gift of the diamond necklace. Glory had dismissed Julia’s concerned but now? Now Glory is concerned that there may something to this. “...it’s funny you should say that…”

“Oh yeah?” Kurt asks. “Is there something you’re not telling me?”

“Well I wasn’t going to tell you because I didn’t think anything of it at first.” She reaches into her bag, the one she laid down on the sofa. She produces the diamond necklace, the gift she received from the anonymous gift giver back in London. She shows it to Kurt. He takes it in his hands and gazes at it with awe.

“Damn…” he looks up at Glory “...where did you get this?”

“It was in a package addressed to me. I got it in London. And to answer your next question, I have no idea who sent it. It was an anonymous gift.”

“How did anyone know you were going to be there?” Kurt asks. “You went to great lengths to keep your visit secret.”

“Julia pointed that out too and, like you, she thought I had an obsessed fan. Now I return home and find out you’ve been getting these creepy phone calls…well, I’m beginning to think that she may be right.”

“Are you sure Dawn is safe with Julia?” Kurt asks.

“Julia will take very good care of her.” Glory sighs. “But you’re right, it might be best if we get her back home soon. I will call Jules and let her know. In the meantime, what do you and I do?”

“The only thing we can do is go to the authorities.”

“I suppose you’re right.” She sighs. She shakes her head as a look of frustration washes over her face. “Bloody hell, this happened at the worst possible time.”

“I know.” Kurt hugs her tightly. “I know, but it’ll be fine. We’ll get through this. Let’s start with the obvious question; who do you think might be behind this? I mean, the obsessed fan theory is a good one but you and I both know you have enemies that would love to see you fall from grace.”

“True.” Glory nods her head. Matthew Alan is still out there and he and his family still hold a grudge over me taking over his company.”

“But he’s got his own legal troubles to deal with.”

“Yes but Aurora Alan is free as a bird.”

“She wouldn’t do a thing like this.” Kurt shakes his head. “The Alan Family might be scum but Aurora is one of the good ones.”

“What about Meagan Collins?”

“Oh yeah…” Kurt nods his head “...you were in danger of being caught up in a big scandal, but she ended up taking the rap for it.”

“She was mostly responsible.” Glory points out.

“But she could have gotten you in big trouble with the authorities had she told them about your involvement but she stayed silent. She went to jail for you and now she’s out. What if she is the one behind this?”

“This could be her…this could be the Alan Family…this could be any number of the criminal element I dealt with while micromanaging my company.” Glory sighs and shakes her head. “I made a lot of enemies, Kurt. I have tried to atone for it all but still my past is coming back to haunt me.”

“It’s ok, Glory.” Kurt kisses her on the forehead. “We will get through this together.”

Glory nods her head. She wishes she believed him but she has her doubts. This whole situation seems completely out of her control. And speaking of situations out of her control, she still has Fatal Fortunes coming up. She has to defend her championship and the opponent is out of her control. At least in that situation she does have some semblance of control. One the match begins she can fight like hell to salvage her title reign. But this possible stalker…this might be out of her control.

The camera begins to roll. Immediately we are met by the view of The British Bombshell, the new SCW Adrenaline Champion Glory Braddock. The beautiful blonde stands with an air of quiet confidence. Her long, golden hair cascades over her shoulders in soft waves, framing a face defined by high cheekbones, a sharp jawline, and piercing blue eyes that carry both determination and vulnerability. She wears a royal purple ensemble that exudes elegance and power while maintaining a contemporary edge. The silk blouse, rich in color and texture, flows gracefully against her frame. Its subtle sheen catches the light, accentuating the intricate drape of the fabric. The blouse features a delicate keyhole neckline with a single button closure, adding a hint of allure without compromising its refined design. The long sleeves are slightly billowed at the cuffs, adding a touch of femininity to the otherwise tailored outfit. Complementing the blouse are slim-fit dress pants of the same royal purple hue. The trousers are perfectly tailored, sitting high on her waist and elongating her legs with clean, sharp lines. A narrow belt with a silver buckle cinches the waistband, providing a polished finish to her sophisticated look. On her feet are sleek, pointed-toe dress shoes made of polished black leather, their understated shine balancing the boldness of the purple outfit. A silver bracelet gleams on her left wrist, and small diamond stud earrings add a subtle sparkle, completing the ensemble without overwhelming it. Her newly won SCW Adrenaline Championship title belt is draped over her right shoulder.

“Before I address the elephant in the room, I want to take this time to address the so-called Magical Cosmic Princess.” Braddock winks at the camera. “I warned you, YUYO. I warned you that you were growing complacent, that you were beginning to lose focus. I warned you that I had been studying you and that I knew your weaknesses and that I would exploit them. I warned you that your complacency and lack of focus would lead to your downfall. What happened, YUYO? What happened? I placed you in the Shekhinah Glory and I choked you unconscious. I ripped the Adrenaline Championship away from you just as I had promised that I would. Do you still want to blame ME for our loss at Trios or are you prepared to look in the mirror? I respect you, YUYO. You were a great champion who beat some stiff competition, but if you are not prepared to recognize your own deficiencies and work to fix them then you will continue to lose. A champion cannot afford to be complacent, a champion needs to be prepared at all times.”

“This is a nice segway into Fatal Fortunes, don’t you think?” Glory chuckles. “Because this is the one event that is infamous in SCW for really shaking things up. Everyone in the roster is up to be booked…the matches are randomly picked…the match types and stipulations are picked randomly…and every champion is defending their title.” She pats her Adrenaline Title belt. “Which means that I am defending my title and I do not know who my opponent is…hell, I don’t even know if it is one opponent or multiple opponents…” she shrugs her shoulders “...I could be fighting in a cage, Underground rules, anything or everything is fair game. It is enough to make any champion sweat, it is enough to make any champion nervous about their prospects of a title retention.” Braddock shakes her head.

“But not me…I was built for moments like these. The fact is that in this sport of kings and queens, if you are on top and you want to remain on top, then you have to be prepared to take on all comers. You have to be prepared for the unexpected. You have to be ready to take on unexpected or unwanted challenges. Fatal Fortunes represents the one thing about professional wrestling that is inevitable yet also undesirable and, even feared, at the same time…the idea that your own fate is outside of your control. The idea that who you fight and how you fight might be outside of your control really irks a lot of traditionalists. Just look at the infamous Trios Cash Ins from the likes of Ace Marshall and Kimberly Williams. They took the power and control out of the hands of the wrestlers.”

“But to remain on top of the mountain, to remain sitting on the throne as a champion in this business, you have to be able to overcome those obstacles, you have to be able to look the unknown in the eyes and punch it in the face. Am I nervous about Fatal Fortunes?” Glory nods her head. “Of course I am. I would be lying if I pretended that I didn’t care. But I was trained by my father, the greatest European wrestler of them all, and he taught me that this world we have created for ourselves, this crazy professional wrestling environment, it will not always be an ideal scenario of knowing who we are facing, when, and how…unexpected surprises will always creep up from time to time and all we can do is to be ready for anything. So I am going to walk into Fatal Fortunes expecting the unexpected, prepared to take on anyone who fate might put in my way.” She smirks.

“Yet there is one aspect of this whole Fatal Fortunes concept that most tend to forget. I am certain almost everyone will take the narcissistic approach of focusing on themselves and how this unexpected random bit of chaos will impact them. And yes, being aware of that, being prepared for that, that’s important. But you know what else is important? Do you know what the rest of the roster needs to know? Someone will be unlucky enough to get drawn as my opponent. Someone will be unlucky enough to challenge me for the Adrenaline Title.” Braddock nods her head.

“Yes, I said UNLUCKY, because I just won this title at Under Attack. Do you think I am ready to relinquish this so soon? Do you think I am going to just let this go in only my first defense of the title? Trust me, there is no way in hell that will happen. I fought too damn long to get back to this, to regain championship gold. I am damn proud to be the Adrenaline Champion. I am proud to represent this company as a title holder and I refuse to sit back and let fate dictate when and how this title reign ends! So wheel of fate, Fatal Fortunes, bring your worst! It doesn't matter who you throw at me…I will throw them right back at you and they will be unconscious just like so many others who stepped up to the plate…” Braddock nods her head.

“That’s right, you remember? On my way to getting here I have choked out oh so many people, including the former champ herself YUYO. So whoever gets the unlucky draw of having to face me at Fatal Fortunes, prepare yourself for the inevitable. Prepare to be choked out by Shekhinah Glory. That’s your fate.”

“But Fatal Fortunes isn’t limited to just simply fate or chaos. There’s a little something that goes overlooked, something called opportunity. Yes, I do have to defend my championship but that doesn’t mean I don’t get an opportunity. Think of the opportunities that are right before me. The opportunity to show the entire world why me being the best in the world isn’t narcissism or a good marketing ploy. It’s fact.
