“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid

Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie

Can't stop this screamin' voice

Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing the Fall of Man standing tall. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Enigma, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

This is the face

I hate the other side of me

Out of this cage

He breaks to take the life from me

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Shinigami Foundation standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

I'm closer to the edge

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery

Insane

These voices in my brain

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see the Glimmer Sisters making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Meghan Strader are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We arrive in Los Angeles as Breakdown continues to careen to Hubris in Australia next week!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Devon Kayl and Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Devon Kayl and Jonathan Knots and folks, we’re heading to Hubris in just a few days. But tonight, a big night. Huge tag team match on the docket – Shaun Cruze and Kimberly Williams will face Dawn Lohan and Polly Playtime.”

Knots: “Polly and Dawn can put everything behind them. Dawn can prove she’s helping her out. And they can together get rid of two ingrates!”

Kayl: “And we’ll see a rematch of one of the classics. The feud is reignited tonight. Glory Braddock and Xander Valentine one on one.”

Sharper: “All of that along with Deanna Frost to be in action against Kemal Yilmaz. We’ll see Ryan LeCavalier face David Striker and so much more tonight.”

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk.

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and under the ropes to enter it. Once inside and in the center of the ring, she stands still, confident and powerful, as the lights form to make a massive blue and black snowflake under her and the purple and blue lights. Raising her hand back up, towards the audience, once again palm upright, a wicked smirk graces her lips. With a slam of her foot, Selena causes the snowflake at her feet to “crack” as the rampway did, the shards of ice streaking out to all four corners of the ring to shoot out purple streaks of light from the turnbuckle the lights return to normal.

Sharper: “For the first time in weeks, Selena Frost focused, even smiling.”

Kayl: “She’s been curt, driven, desperate…but she’s now days away from a World Championship shot.”

Knots: “Thanks to CHBK! What the hell is wrong with him?!”

Selena Frost smiles as she walks over to grab a microphone waiting for her. She takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring. She looks around as the boos continue to greet her. She just smiles, calm and collected. She then slowly brings the microphone to her mouth.

Selena: “I don’t care for a damn thing any of you have to say or think about me.”

The crowd boos louder. Selena looks around.

Selena: “Because in ten days I will be World Champion and everything will be right in the world!”

Selena looks around.

Selena: “Because I will finally prove that Syren’s Cinderella story should be dead and buried, that Gavin Taylor is a disgrace and a fluke, and that Amelia Nevado is just not at my level.”

Selena looks around.

Selena: “And you better believe that. What you saw last week is how Hubris is going to end in Australia and-“

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center before continuing to the ring. Selena Frost turns, the smile on her face disappearing, now with a glare, clearly seemingly taking Nevado’s arrival as disrespect.

Sharper: “And Amelia Nevado quickly taking exception.”

Knots: “She’s the rightful number one contender! She would be having her major moment – a one on one match with the greatest champion in SCW history in Australia. But Selena muscling in. Syren muscling in.”

Sharper: “And Amelia Nevado heading right to the ring.”

Nevado walks down the rampway, ending up at the ring. She walks around the ring and walks over to Jason Phillips, demanding a microphone. Phillips grabs a microphone and hands it to her.

Selena: “Amelia…don’t bother. You don’t need to start speaking, making promises that you can’t keep.”

Amelia walks up the steel steps and enters into the ring. Her music fades out.

Selena: “This isn’t like you facing Cid where you just have outlast the husk of that man, or Glory Braddock, who you can trap by taking advantage of her arrogance. You’re looking to try and beat the greatest professional wrestler in SCW history and Amelia, you’re not there yet, no matter what anyone says-“

Nevado: “Selena…shut the hell up!”

The crowd erupts. Selena’s eyes widen.

Nevado: “I don’t care what you have to say. I used to. Far too much. I remember hearing you talk about how we’d need to prove we deserve another shot. To prove we could be the Tag Champions. And I put stock into that. I put stock into what you thought because I thought you were the symbol of greatness around here. Just like you think…just like your ego thinks.”

Nevado shakes her head no.

Nevado: “No…I see one of the most desperate and pathetic wrestlers in SCW history in front of me!”

Nevado looks at Selena.

Nevado: “I actually had some doubt last summer when you came out and said that I deserved a better match to become World Champion. But no, I realize today, Cid  Turner was a greater champion than you could ever hope to be anymore. You were good, Selena, but just like so many, you’ve been corrupted. But even worse…at what cost?”

Selena: “Don’t you dare talk to me about cost? Not when you’ve accomplished nothing!”

Nevado: “Now the truth comes out. Just another fake mentor. Someone who felt threatened by me. Whether it’s you. Or Glory. Or Ravyn. Or Meghan. Or so many others who claim to offer advice, even claim to help me. When you’re all just threatened. Threatened by people like Gavin, like me. People who are hungry. People who just need that opportunity. And then will grab onto it. You stand here claiming a conspiracy against you. There was no conspiracy. You’ve been hiding by trying to go after the Glimmers claiming disrespect only to move on when you couldn’t control the narrative.”

Selena just shakes her head pacing.

Nevado: “But allow me to make this clear, Selena. You’ve not been handed another title shot because you called your own damn shot last Rise to Greatness and LOST!”

The crowd roars. Selena just looks at Nevado.

Selena: “It was a damn ladder match. Not a competition-“

Nevado: “You still called your shot. You still demanded it. You picked the location. You sat on a title shot. And you still LOST! And while others are trying to scratch and claw for that spot, you’ve been threatened. And fortunately, the man who matters has seen through it. While the other didn’t have the fortitude to do what needed to be done.”

Selena: “Deanna wanted it. She wanted it-“

Nevado: “Say that to yourself all you want, Selena. I’m out here to make a few things clear to you. This was my opportunity. Someone believed in me. No strings. Just gave me my confidence back. And in my homecountry I earned the shot you’ve tried to take over. So know this Selena…yes, I am disrespecting you!”

Nevado then steps up as Selena pushes her back.

Selena: “Get the hell back!”

Nevado: “Come Hubris, I am going to choke you out. You are coming in with nothing. And you will leave Hubris with nothing. Because you are today…NOTHING. And Selena, maybe when you come to after…maybe when you look in the mirror, you may realize it. You’re not a champion. You’re the warning of exactly what not to become!”

Selena then turns away only to then go for the Glass Shard. Amelia, however, catches her foot. The crowd roars. Selena looks at Amelia, almost stunned before Amelia shoves her back. Selena falls over to the corner and to a knee. She glares at Amelia as Amelia turns and exits to the apron and then to the floor. Selena slowly gets up as “Victorious” by Skillet starts to play again.

Sharper: “And Amelia Nevado with newfound confidence and Selena stunned!”

Knots: “Not just stunned, but disrespected!”

Amelia Nevado walks up the rampway as Selena Frost continues to watch her, glaring at her. We then see Frank Delatosso walking out from the back. Amelia Nevado walks over to him and Delatosso steps forward and shakes her head. Delatosso looks at the ring as boos come from the crowd. Selena Frost turns away, shaking her head, clearly annoyed by this.

Kayl: “And Selena didn’t care for that!”

Sharper: “She thought our CEO would be in her back pocket.”

Nevado then heads to the back as Delatosso looks at Frost before returning to the back. The scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

We open backstage to see Frank Delatosso walking alongside Amelia Nevado. The crowd boos as we then see them walk past Meghan Strader who is working on her motorcycle backstage. Tearra Skye walks over to help Meghan and Frank stops and turns around.

Delatosso: “Ms. Strader.”

Meghan Strader looks up. She smirks.

Meghan: “Hope you don’t mind if I’m not gonna shake your hand.”

Delatosso: “Wouldn’t want to make things uncomfortable for you anyways. I heard some of your comments.”

Meghan: “I don’t tend to sugarcoat.”

Delatosso: “Good. Then I’m not going to sugarcoat. I heard you claim you offered your gang to be added security for the Retribution Thunderdome match.”

Meghan: “Wanted to make sure Luz and I had a fair fight. And they’re not a gang.”

Delatosso: “Semantics. And they’re an issue. So they’re either under contract and competing, or they can file their paperwork to be legitimate managers…I doubt they all are…or they can buy a ticket and support you from afar.”

Meghan just looks up and smirks. Delatosso goes to walk off. Amelia continues to say anything.

Meghan: “Another uppity boss…Luz deserves better, you know.”

Amelia just looks forward, ignoring the shot, before continuing to walk off. Meghan Strader glares at them as they leave.

Chris Lawler vs. La Pequena Luz

Phillips: “Our opening contest is scheduled for one fall!”

“Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. In a stark contrast to the energy we've come to expect from her, La Pequeńa Luz slowly walks out onto the stage, even her signature smile missing as she looks almost distracted, even despite the cheers from the fans. As she runs her hands along the sleeves of her robe as well as the areas still taped and bandaged up from the injuries she sustained in the Thunderdome, it's not hard to figure out what, or rather who, her mind could be worrying about. Still, she does seem to refocus a bit as she makes her way down the ramp, even if it's without her usual energy and at a pace that just feels wrong alongside her upbeat song.

Phillips: “Introducing first, from Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico... La Pequeńa Luz!”

Once she reaches ringside, Luz hops up onto the apron, grabbing the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. Instead of her usual skipping around the ring, Luz instead opts for a familiar fist pump, which draws cheers but also a few boos from fans who know who Luz is trying to seemingly send a quiet message to. Nodding to herself and looking a little disappointed at the boos she heard, Luz moves to her corner, slowly removing the robe and giving it a hug and a kiss before setting it under the bottom turnbuckle as she tries to refocus on the task at hand.

Sharper: “A much more subdued entrance than we're used to, and I can only imagine what's going through this young woman's head right now.”

Knots: “Probably plotting ways to try and steal the spotlight back from her wife.”

Sharper: “Jon, you know as well as I do that La Pequeńa Luz is one of the most honorable competitors in all of SCW.”

Kayl: “We thought we could say the same thing about the likes of Selena Frost and Amelia Nevado, but after what we just saw...”

Sharper: “That's the part that's clearly affecting Luz. Her third reign as United States Champion coming to an end through the brutality of the Thunderdome back at Retribution, and while she's been recovering, she's been watching Amelia's frustrations seemingly corrupt her as she's let our CEO get into her ear.”

Knots: “And he's leading her to the greatness Luz would never let her have! Distancing herself from this woman was the best decision Amelia clearly made, just as Selena did the same with Deanna!”

Before a full-blown argument can erupt on commentary between Devon Kayl and Jonathan Knots, the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

Phillips: “And her opponent, from Nashville, Tennessee... Chris Lawler!”

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.

Sharper: “Luz's wife isn't the only person who's had a big change of attitude lately. Chris Lawler has spent the past month venting his own frustrations all over Simon Lyman, and last week we saw him just plant Lyman in the middle of the ring with a thunderous Impact Driver.”

Kayl: “Lawler is a proud man and he's clearly part of the crowd letting the constant setbacks get to him. We know he and Luz were Trios partners a few years ago, but judging by the look in his eyes, that's not enough for Lawler to want to do anything but add to Luz's woes.”

Knots: “I mean, think about it: Simon failed miserably against the U.S. Champion. If Lawler beats the former champion, then not only does Luz get a taste of what Amelia's been going through, but Lawler could set himself up to kick some cowgirl ass and get himself a title!”

Referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell, and Lawler immediately runs across the ring and blasts Luz with a Blitz Kick! The fans boo as Lawler throws her to the mat and goes for an immediate cover.

1!

2!

Luz throws her shoulder up! Lawler doesn’t waste any time, though, pulling her to her feet before literally throwing her across the ring with an overhead belly-to-belly suplex! Luz rolls over to the corner and uses the turnbuckles to pull herself back to her feet, but she turns just as Lawler crushes her in the corner with a clothesline! He pulls her out of the corner and proceeds to plant her with a side belly-to-belly suplex this time! Lawler goes for the cover again, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Luz kicks out!

Sharper: “Lawler all over Luz right from the bell! Luz hasn’t been able to get out of the blocks and Lawler is just smothering her with offense!”

Knots: “This is why she should stop worrying so much about bringing her wife down again before she gets herself hurt!”

Lawler grabs Luz’s head and pulls her back to her feet, taking a moment to look around at the fans who are leaning more towards boos than cheers for him right now. He huffs before irish whipping Luz into the ropes, but as he goes to catch her with a crossbody on the rebound, Luz instead nails him in midair with a running dropkick! Lawler rolls towards the ropes and uses them to try and pull himself up, coughing and clutching at his ribs, but Luz bounces off the ropes and hits a second dropkick that sends Lawler tumbling through the ropes and out to the floor in front of the announce table. Luz takes a moment to shake off the cobwebs, fueled by the rising roar of the crowd as she puts her own mental turmoil aside for a moment and runs off the ropes one more time before soaring through the top and middle ropes with a topé suicida that drives Lawler’s lower back against the edge of the announce desk! Lawler falls to the mat, clutching at his back and looking to be in agony.

Sharper: “Luz finally getting her bearings in a big way and has Lawler in trouble right in front of us now!”

Knots: “She’s clearly looking to make a case to usurp her wife’s World Title opportunity flying around like that!”

Kayl: “I think Luz could make for a great World Champion, and if Amelia falls short at Hubris then she made her own bed throwing away everything she had.”

Sharper: “Considering Meghan Strader has publicly endorsed her, I wouldn’t rule out the possibility of Luz and Amelia-”

Sharper cuts himself off as Luz pats her hand against the announce table to get the commentators’ attention.

Luz: “Can you guys please stop talking about all of this?”

Sharper, Kayl, and even Knots are all speechless at the polite request as Luz sounds genuinely upset by all the banter about her, Amelia and the talk of World Title opportunities. As Luz apologizes in Spanish, she turns away to grab Lawler, only for him to plant her on the floor with a vicious spinebuster! The fans boo as Lawler hauls Luz up and throws her back into the ring before sliding in after her, pulling her head between his legs before he throws her to the mat with a big powerbomb! He takes a moment to look around once more before he goes for the cover.

1!

2!

Luz kicks out again!

Sharper: “Lawler constantly looking around, perhaps expecting Simon to pay him back for last week.”

Knots: “How about Luz nearly costing herself by telling us how to do our jobs instead of staying on Chris?”

Kayl: “I did not have Luz asking me nicely to stop talking about what’s going on with her and Amelia on my bingo card for tonight. Regardless, she needs to get her head back in the game because Lawler is running right over her!”

Lawler looks down at Luz for a moment before he steps out onto the apron and starts to climb to the top rope. As he gets himself steady, perhaps for the Air Assault, Luz manages to come to life as she quickly rolls back to her feet before making an impressive vertical leap that takes Lawler off the top rope with a huge frankensteiner without her ever making contact with the turnbuckles! Luz grits her teeth as she slowly gets back to her feet, the onslaught she’s taken this match and the lingering pain from the Thunderdome clearly not doing her any favors. She measures Lawler as he rises before charging him, but Lawler manages to hoist her up in a military press! Luz squirms, however, so Lawler ditches the Fury Suplex plan and just tries to toss her, but Luz lands on her feet! She charges again, ducking a clothesline attempt from Lawler before she handsprings off the ropes and catches him with the Esperanza Brillante! She slowly rolls him over for the cover.

1!

2!

Lawler kicks out!

Sharper: “Luz finally getting the gears turning as she catches Lawler with the Esperanza Brillante!”

Kayl: “It translates to Shining Hope in Spanish, and boy, did Luz need some hope to get her head back in the game!”

Luz slowly gets back to her feet, taking a deep breath to try and collect herself. She claps her hands, the fans clapping along with her, as she measures a slow-rising Lawler. Once he’s up to one knee, she charges at him for the Flash Freeze, but Lawler catches her and stands up straight! Luz’s eyes are wide and the fans are booing as she starts throwing right hands and trying to squirm free to avoid the Impact Driver. She starts looking like she’s going to slip free, but Lawler pops her up a bit to adjust his grip, but Luz manages to leap off his shoulders and catch him on the way down with the Lights Out! The fans are roaring as Luz rolls over to the corner, using the turnbuckles to pull herself back to her feet before she slowly climbs to the top turnbuckle, measuring Lawler before she leaps off and connects with Ilumina la Noche! Luz hooks the leg.

3!

Referee Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell as “Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden hits the speakers again. Luz slowly gets back to her feet as Hollinsworth raises her arm in victory, but despite this and the raucous cheers for her, Luz looks more upset than happy.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… La Pequeńa Luz!”

Sharper: “Luz managing to weather a very aggressive onslaught from Chris Lawler to get herself back in the win column-”

Knots: “She doesn’t look too happy about it, though! What the hell’s wrong with her?”

Kayl: “I’m pretty sure we all know the answer, but I’m trying to respect Luz’s wishes. One thing I know for sure, though: if Chris Lawler wasn’t frustrated before, he’s going to be fuming once he realizes he’s lost again.”

Luz takes a moment to look down at Lawler, who Steve Hollinsworth is checking on. She sighs before moving to retrieve her robe from her corner, folding it up neatly. The crowd erupts into even more cheers as we see Simon Lyman suddenly slide into the ring, diving onto Lawler and raining down punches into his face! Luz, who had just started to exit the ring, turns and sets her robe down before she moves to try and pull Lyman off of Lawler. Simon gets back up and pushes Luz away, but this allows for Lawler to get up to his knees and start punching Simon in the gut before he gets back to his feet and the two of them are trading blows!

Sharper: “Simon! Attacking Lawler! Paying him back for last week!”

Knots: “Well, one thing hasn’t changed with Luz, and it’s this stupid desire to do security’s jobs for them!”

Kayl: “Speaking of which, look who’s on their way to the ring!”

As Luz keeps trying to help Steve Hollinsworth pull Lyman and Lawler apart, we see more officials running down to the ring, led by Lucas Knight, Dillusion, Hiro Tanaka, and Dean Black. The fans give a mixed reaction to this, though there sound like more boos than cheers, either for the brawl about to be broken up or simply because of Dean Black being out here. They all pour into the ring and work to try and separate Lyman and Lawler, though we notice that Knight is not straying too far from Black and is watching him like a hawk. Luz tries to move in to help, but Black shoves her back and demands that she leave, which draws some more boos as Luz has an uneasy staredown with him. Despite it being clear on her masked face that she wants to stay and help, Luz very reluctantly rolls out of the ring, grabbing her folded-up robe and hugging it tightly against her chest as she starts heading to the back.

Sharper: “Officials out here trying to restore order, but Dean Black is definitely the man to watch right now.”

Knots: “Don’t tell me you’re getting into these conspiracy theories now, Sharper!”

Kayl: “Hardly a conspiracy when Dean’s been acting very off lately, and that proves it. He’s never turned down help from Luz in these kinds of situations before, and given Amelia’s in the middle of everything he may be involved in now…”

Black turns and finds himself locking eyes with Lucas, the two of them seemingly having a very tense conversation that’s interrupted as Simon and Lawler manage to slip free and start trading blows once again! Lucas keeps watching Black warily as they rejoin everyone in pulling Lyman and Lawler apart, a chant of “LET THEM FIGHT!” echoing throughout the arena. Luz pauses halfway up the ramp and watches this all play out, almost looking like she wants to cry at how everything’s falling apart around her before she reluctantly pulls herself away and continues heading to the back, hugging the robe tighter against her chest.

Religious Wright is walking down the hallway.

Sharper: “Well when we return, Religious Wright to be in action and…”

Wright stops and just smiles as we see the Glimmer Sisters more modestly dressed than we’d normally see them.

Gia (?): “Well, if it isn’t Wright….”

Wright: “That’s Religious Wright to you. I hope you don’t hold anything against Gavin from the end of the year. It’s just business.”

Gina (?): “Oh of course…and well…Gia, I think we may have some business to offer.”

Wright: “Really? Well…”

Wright clears his throat.

Wright: “I mean…”

Gia (?): “Well, if you can handle Dexter Grant who wants to ruin some of our fun…Maybe we can make some other things great again.”

Wright smiles.

Wright: “Consider it DONE! We get things done with Gavin!”

Wright heads off as Gia and Gina smirk and the scene cuts away.

Religious Wright vs. Dexter Grant

“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen shows a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. A few cheers can be heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle. Wendell eagerly looks up at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around him who just refuse to listen to his message.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Wendell, from ‘Off the Grid,’ he is The Digital Detoxer… Dexter Grant!”

He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching to the center of the ring and turning his back to the hard cam as he points his thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed. The lights return to normal as we hear Adam Sharper attempt to say something on commentary, but he barely gets a sound out before he cuts himself off as Dexter marches over and rips the microphone right out of Jason Phillips’s hand. His music fades out as Dexter just stares into the hard cam, literally trembling with rage even as the fans attempt to drown him out with boos before he even says a word.

Grant: “I am not out here to Disconnect the little errand boy that Gavin Taylor is clearly choosing to hide behind because he knows his new attitude will not save him from me.”

The boos only grow louder, though it’s hard to know if they’re to drown Dexter out or because of the mention of Gavin.

Grant: “Glimmer Sisters… you think it’s all fun and games, don’t you? Show some skin, hype up a lamb before you send it to slaughter. Wave your Trios contract around and pretend it actually means something. You’re suggesting wasting it on something scandalous for the sole purpose of stimulating these sad sacks all around us, not caring about the people who clearly don’t want to be exposed as much as you two prefer to be.”

The fans cheer, likely due to the mention of the Glimmers and their love of being ‘exposed,’ which only makes Dexter angrier. We see Wendell standing in the corner, almost using his protest sign as a shield to hide his embarrassment at the mere suggestion.

Grant: “Wendell is not an option for whatever games you want to waste everyone’s time with, nor is Destiny Page. Regardless of whether or not she was involved in any of that KABLAMia garbage with you, she and Wendell are still their own people and do not deserve-”

“I Can Only Imagine” by MercyMe begins to play, cutting Dexter off. He turns his glare to the stage, literally vibrating in barely-restrained fury as Religious Wright steps out onto the stage wearing a black robe and carrying his Holy Book in his right hand. Along the way down the aisle he stops by some fans. He presses his hand to the foreheads of some fans and shouts “BE HEALED IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!” Still other fans he throws Holy Water at them and shouts “BE GONE FOUL DEMON FROM THIS SERVANT IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD!”

Phillips: “And his opponent, from The Sword of Joshua Full Gospel Pentecostal Temple of Joy Holiness by way of Mt. Judea, Arkansas, he is… Religious Wright!”

Religious Wright reaches ringside and looks up at Dexter in the ring before a very wide grin comes to his face as he holds up his Holy Book and shouts “IN THE NAME OF THE LAWD AND THE GLIMMER SISTAS I WILL STRIKE THEE DOWN!” He slides into the ring and goes to swing his Holy Book at Dexter, but Dexter ducks it and boots him in the gut when he spins around, causing him to drop the book. Referee Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell as Dexter repeatedly clubs Wright across the back, dropping him to one knee.

Sharper: “I was going to bring up Dexter’s issues with what the Glimmer Sisters have been hinting they’re considering using Gina’s Trios contract on, but Dexter’s made his anger over it pretty clear.”

Kayl: “Never thought I’d see the day I would actually thank this idiot for interrupting one of Dexter’s rants!”

Knots: “Wright’s not an idiot, you heathen! He is a servant of the Lord and an aide to the World Champion of America!”

Kayl: “And apparently to the whims of the Glimmer Sisters too.”

Dexter pulls Wright to his feet before irish whipping him into the corner and following him in with a big clothesline! Wright stumbles out as Dexter hops up on the second turnbuckle, motioning for Wright to turn around before connecting with a front missile dropkick! Instead of going for the cover, though, Dexter grabs Wright’s wrists before violently stomping away on his chest, face and head! This actually earns Dexter a mixed reaction, but he pays it no mind as he hauls Wright up enough to rest his throat over the middle rope before kneeling across his back to choke him with the rope! As referee Jennifer Cassidy counts for a break, Dexter sneers down into the camera.

Grant: “If you two want to seduce him to try and stop me, then I’m sending him back to you and Gavin in pieces!”

Dexter gets off of Wright once Jennifer Cassidy is about to count to five, pacing around the ring in anger as Wright coughs, trying to recover. Dexter pushes past the referee to continue his assault on Wright, but Wright pokes him in the eye! Dexter stumbles back as Wright takes a moment to catch his breath before he takes Dexter down with a spear! He hops back to his feet, grinning and hopping around for a moment before he flexes for the cameras… or perhaps more for who he thinks is watching.

Sharper: “Religious Wright actually managing to get the upper hand on Dexter Grant!”

Knots: “The power of the Glimmers compels him!”

Kayl: “That, and maybe Dexter’s anger getting the better of him!”

Wright exits to the apron before climbing to the top turnbuckle, staring down at Dexter before he smiles at the camera, motioning to his face.

Wright: “In the name of the lawd and the Glimmer Sistas, your holy cushions shall rest upon my face and heal me once I slay this heathen!”

With that, Wright dives off for the Leap of Faith, but he wasted way too much time and Dexter rolls out of the way! Wright crashes and burns, clutching his face and screaming as he rolls towards the ropes. Dexter slowly gets up and tries to march over to him, but Jennifer Cassidy gets between them, claiming that Wright is in the ropes and Dexter needs to back off. This, however, opens the door for Wendell to actually hit a running shot to the side of Wright’s skull!

Sharper: “Wendell! Landing a shot on Wright behind the referee’s back!”

Knots: “See! He’s perfectly capable of getting in the ring! Let him and Destiny be part of whatever fun the Glimmers have cooked up!”

Wright rolls away from the ropes, still clutching at his face as he manages to get up to his knees, only for Dexter Grant to obliterate him with an Unwanted Notification that clearly had some extra malice behind it! Dexter angrily huffs for a moment before he drops down and locks Wright in the Disconnect to Reconnect, with Wright immediately tapping out! “TokSik” by Starset hits the speakers again, but Dexter doesn’t let go of the submission, wrenching Wright back into a particularly painful-looking arch with the hold as he screams in agony and keeps tapping. Jennifer Cassidy moves in to try and pry him off, but Dexter refuses to let go until Wendell climbs into the ring, a silent look exchanged between the two before Dexter finally releases the hold.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… Dexter Grant!”

Sharper: “Dexter Grant, laying waste to Religious Wright in short order, perhaps sending a warning to the Glimmer Sisters and maybe even to Gavin Taylor as well!”

Kayl: “He didn’t even need to take his vest off!”

Knots: “Religious Wright didn’t deserve this! He’s just trying to help make SCW Gavin again! Hopefully the Glimmers are willing to help him recover… maybe with those ‘holy cushions’ of theirs.”

Kayl: “Please don’t ever say those words again, Jon.”

Jennifer Cassidy raises Dexter’s hand in victory as he takes a few deep breaths to try and regain some of his composure. Wendell has moved to request the mic from Jason Phillips again, being handed it before he passes it along to Dexter. The mixed response lingers but does start slowly drifting towards primarily boos again with the match over and the realization that Dexter’s going to speak again as his music fades back out.

Grant: “As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted.”

The boos only grow louder, but a surprising amount of cheers slip through when Dexter punctuates his statement by turning and kicking at Wright a few times until he rolls out of the ring, landing in a heap on the floor.

Grant: “Wendell and Destiny are their own people! They are not wrestlers, and they are not options to play your games with! I am sick and tired of people like you trying to interfere instead of letting them figure things out on their own, just as I am sick and tired of seeing you two think you’re more than just tools of desire being used by the social media machine to keep all these infected idiots titillated and begging for more.”

This gets Dexter quite a few boos, though a small vocal section of the crowd does manage to get a “TITILLATING” chant going, which causes Dexter to growl audibly as the mic picks it up.

Grant: “Mark my words, Glimmers: I don’t care if you’re Tag Team Champions. I don’t care if SCW thinks they can protect you by playing the same games with me that they did with their golden goose, Selena Frost.”

The mention of Selena’s name draws the loudest tidal wave of boos and jeers yet, but it doesn’t stop Dexter from leaning on the top rope and getting really close to the nearest camera.

Grant: “If you want to waste your contract to force Wendell and Destiny into a very uncomfortable situation… I am not just going to Disconnect the two of you. I am going to destroy you… and there is nothing anyone can do to stop my crusade from burying you both once and for all.”

Dexter tosses the mic aside, the thud from it landing on the mat echoing throughout the arena before “TokSik” hits once more. Dexter just glares into the camera before he slowly backs away, turning instead to converse with Wendell, reassuring him that the Glimmers aren’t going to do anything to him.

Sharper: “Dexter Grant not mincing his words tonight. If the Glimmer Sisters want to keep teasing this possibility of using Gina’s Trios contract for something involving Wendell and Destiny, they’re going to have to go through Dexter to make it happen.”

Kayl: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen Dexter get that protective of Wendell before. Destiny’s a surprise as well, but we’ve seen hints of something maybe between her and Wendell…”

Knots: “All the more reason why they should just let the Glimmers play cupids and help them come out of their shells without Dexter keeping them chained down with his nonsense!”

Dexter and Wendell climb out of the ring before heading to the back, with Dexter throwing one more kick into Wright’s ribs for good measure before the two head up the ramp, with Dexter still reassuring Wendell that whatever the Glimmers are playing at won’t come to pass so long as he lives and breathes.

Ryan LeCavalier vs. David Striker

The opening chords of AFI's "I hope you suffer" starts to play as the video wall blazes to life with the violent and epic SCW history of David Striker, all of his epic highlights thus far in the company from his wars with Kimberly Williams to his fall from the top of the scaffold at RTG and then his insane return on Breakdown is shown as the man himself slowly walks out onto the entrance way.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Cameron, North Carolina, the Dark Horse, David Striker!”

I got two letters from you

Last words of the runaway

Your love was written so true

And now I can't speak your name

I faced destruction and you

Just killed me and walked away

I gave my heart to the cruel

Now it will not beat again

As the song enters its first chorus David Striker heads down to the ring. David Striker continues to head to the ring, stoically focusing on the task ahead of him. Once he gets there, he wipes his feet off on the ring apron and slips into the ring.

No one will ever know you

Deny the last one who cares

Intoxicate with the new

Pretend I'm no longer there

I opened my heart to you

You lied just to reach inside

Now with the faith you removed

Our hope for forgiveness dies

David thumps his chest twice before raising it to the sky before quickly throwing his ring coat off. He then walks around the ring, awaiting his opponent.

Knots: “Can we make sure the tables are away from this lunatic?”

Sharper: “David Striker came out and introduced himself to Asher Hayes. They did meet in that chaotic match to crown a champion, but this is going to be a bit more intimate.”

Knots: “Intimate? When things are getting hot and heavy, it’s not because furniture is on fire!”

The arena falls into a deep, anticipatory hush as the lights abruptly dim, plunging the crowd into darkness. The air is thick with anticipation, and suddenly, the ominous beats of "Praise" by Zhu, Banks, and Bludnymph pulse through the speakers, filling the arena with an eerie energy. The voice of BANKS echoes through the space, setting a haunting tone:

"I built me up high, a building so high, you know. Up where the birds fly, it was a long time ago."

The tension is palpable as a single spotlight slices through the darkness, casting an intense beam onto the entrance ramp. The crowd holds its breath as the silhouette of her figure begins to emerge, shrouded in an aura of menace and mystery. Dressed in a breathtaking ensemble of black and gold, her outfit shimmers with an almost ethereal glow, reflecting her dominance and superiority.

As she steps into the light, the chorus surges, magnifying her grand entrance and asserting her control:

"I got the view from the stars, baby, stars, baby. You look up at me like a god, baby, god, baby."

With a deliberate, measured pace, she strides down the ramp, each step resounding with authority and command. Her hair cascades behind her, catching the light and adding a dramatic flair to her entrance. Her gaze is sharp and unyielding, scanning the crowd with a mix of disdain and amusement, daring them to challenge her.

Suddenly, pyrotechnics explode around her, their bursts of light and smoke accentuating her every movement. The strobe-like flashes create a stark contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing her formidable presence. The chorus of "Praise" swells dramatically, enveloping the arena in a pulsating rhythm:

"This is how I got name, this is how I got my fame. You and me are not the same, this is why you give me praise."

As she nears the ring, she pauses, her eyes locking onto the spectators at ringside. She smirks, exuding an aura of disdain and arrogance, relishing in their fear and respect. With a contemptuous glance, she continues her march toward the ring, her every move a testament to her dominance and control.

Phillips: “His opponent, form Los Angeles, California, she is the Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!”

Ascending the ring steps with an almost ritualistic grace, she pauses at the top, surveying the arena with a look of disdainful triumph. With a flourish, she steps through the ropes, her entrance complete. Raising her arms in a gesture of defiance and power, she locks eyes with her opponent, the tension between them electric.

The music crescendos to a thunderous climax, and the crowd erupts into a cacophony of boos and jeers, their voices a testament to her impact and infamy. She stands ready in the center of the ring, her presence alone a declaration of her readiness for the fight ahead.

As the final notes of "Praise" fade into the night, the echoes of the chorus linger in the air, a haunting reminder of her dominance and control:

"Give me (Praise), Give me (Praise)."

And with that, the stage is set, the battle lines drawn, and the arena braces itself for the match that's about to take place.

Sharper: “Hometown competitor. She calls Los Angeles her home. But not getting a home town welcome.”

Kayl: “May be about who she’s been championing as of late. Selena Frost.”

Knots: “I’d boo her too!”

The bell sounds. Striker steps up as LeCavalier looks at him. Striker then moves forward and into a grapple, but Ryan drops down and around and into a side headlock. Striker pulls her back and into the ropes. He fires her off. Ryan bounces off the other side. Striker shoulders her down. Striker turns into the ropes. He walks around the ring, grabbing chairs from under the ring and tossing them into the ring. Striker swats one away.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes now down here! And last week, David Striker brought a table into the ring and set it alight, welcoming him to the Underground.”

Knots: “And Asher Hayes is telling him they have more weapons to play with it!”

Kayl: “The match is still ongoing though!”

COMMERCIALS

Dawn Lohan & Polly Playtime vs. Kimberly Williams & Shaun Cruze

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now.  Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans.  A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.

Phillips: “The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!”

She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.  She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Sharper: “This could be a unique one. Shaun Cruze and Kimberly Williams will have to work together.”

Knots: “Good luck!”

Sharper: “The Revengers as Kimmy has proclaimed them. But Cruze and Williams have had a long history. And it’s not always been good.”

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage

Phillips: “Her partner, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, he is the Impact Player… Shaun Cruze!”

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze focused now. He will face Polly Playtime one on one at Hubris.”

Knots: “Better be ready for a war.”

Kayl: “Polly’s ready for one. Then again, that chip on her shoulder’s only gotten bigger and that’s with Delatosso’s favour!”

The arena lights shut off completely.  The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice can be heard saying:

"You want me to cut the crap?  My answer is that you need to cut yours."

The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous glowing angry green eyes make an appearance.  Most of the screen stays black, but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".

An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One.  Game Over."

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage.  "Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to sing the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of the stage between the strobe lights.  The overhead arena lights return and we can see that the figure is dressed in a long black robe that covers all of her, including her head.  The hood drops back to reveal Polly not smiling or showing any hint of caring what others think of her.  She allows the vocals to continue until Dove hits the chorus for a second time.  The light purple strobe rights turn to point directly to the ring as Polly lets go of the robe that is cloaking her, revealing that she is wearing her black knee-high skirt, but also a very small strapless light purple top that hugs her mostly revealed upper body perfectly.  She then picks up the item that she had used to tie her black robe around her, that item being a small whip.

Wasting no more time, she walks with purpose down to the ring as her entrance music continues.  A lot of the crowd near ringside is gawking at her while some are booing.  Polly just ignores every single last one of them as once at ringside, she feels the mat with both of her hands and rubs them a bit before sneering and walking over to the nearest set of steel ring steps.  She walks up them and is very careful while she gets into the ring.

Phillips:  “Their opponents, first, entering the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, she is Polly Playtime!”

Once in the ring she runs the end of the whip around the canvas for a short bit before she chooses a corner of the ring and leans up against the ropes.  As her music subsides, Polly can be heard saying "I'm too much for you to handle.  Too much for ALL of you!  Always have been, always will be.  It's time you all see it." The boos pick up.  Polly is acting as if they don't exist as she has all of the whip in her hands now once again.  She stays in her corner and waits for the bell to ring, fingering her whip, not even looking towards her opponent.

Sharper: “The team Polly is on is hardly a well-oiled machine. Polly Playtime hasn’t been too thrilled with Dawn Lohan coming in here.”

Knots: “It’ll be fine! Polly is a professional!”

Sharper: “We’ll see here.”

Emptiness Machine by Linkin Park echoes from the loud speaker.

Phillips: “And her partner, from San Diego, California, she is Dawn Lohan!”

Dawn Lohan pushes her way through the curtain. She stands in front of the entrance way, she takes a moment to soak in the reaction from the crowd. As the music is coursing through the arena she knows she can't delay the inevitable. She slowly makes her down to the ring, all business. She makes her way to the ring steps. When she reaches the top of the steps, she walks along the apron. Grabbing the top rope she pulls back, using the momentum she propels herself forward over the top rope into the ring. She immediately springs up. She walks to the turnbuckle, stands on the middle turnbuckle soaking in the atmosphere. She hops off the turnbuckle and remains in the corner until the match gets underway. Polly looks at her and then tells her to exit the ring. Dawn just holds her hands up, conceding the moment, and exiting to the apron. Polly turns and stretches out.

Sharper: “Polly already barking orders.”

Kayl: “Dawn just came in here, slotting in where she was.”

Sharper: “And that may reflect the shrewdness of Delatosso. At the same time, Polly has been among the earliest converts to his goals.”

Polly then points to Shaun Cruze as Kim turns to Shaun and playfully tells him to exit. Cruze backs up and Polly storms over to tell him to get in, but Kim spins Polly around. Polly looks at Kim and the two then start to trade blows going back and forth with hard right hands as the crowd erupts. The cheers continue as Kim and Polly keep trading blows before Kim grabs Polly and pulls her to the ropes, but Polly grabs Kim and the two go through the ropes, tumbling through to the floor. The crowd ohs. Kim then nails Polly with a hard right and then another. Dawn looks on as Kim grabs Polly and runs her over to the timekeeper’s table. (1) Polly blocks it and then turns and throws Kim onto the announce table. (2) She pops up and Polly goes to drive her in again, but Kim blocks it.

Knots: “Come on! Again! Again!”

Sharper: “Polly trying to attack Kim. Driving her into our announce table!”

Kayl: “Kim fighting back.”

Kim elbows Polly in the ribs once and then again before driving her into the announce table. (3) Polly drops back and rolls over and Kim then grabs the ring bell and lifts it up to nail Polly. Shaun, having run to the end of the apron, yells at her. (4)

Cruze: “Kim! NO!”

Kim just chuckles and shrugs.

Kim: “Whoops!”

Kim puts the ring bell down. (5) Polly then reaches up and rakes her eyes. She then grabs Kim and rolls her into the ring. (6) Polly slides in and Kim gets up and Polly runs at her and hits a crossbody, taking her down. She then nails her with repeated right hands as the official warns Polly to stop. Polly gets up and steps over Kim and runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hitting a running elbow drop. She then goes for the pin.

Kim kicks out. Polly looks up and then runs at Shaun and goes to nail him with a hard right. Cruze blocks it and shoves her back. Polly glares at him and turns around and Kim hits a pele kick. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Polly wanted Cruze. Cruze saw it coming and then right into the pele!”

Knots: “Polly’s just ready to take on the world. That’s all!”

Kayl: “Or she’s now not even sure where to direct her anger.”

Knots: “She had a plan. It was Cruze!”

Polly stirs and starts to get up and Kim snapmares her over and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and drills Polly with a diving clothesline. She then goes for the pin.

Polly kicks out. She turns and starts o get up and Kim forearms her in the jaw once and then again before going to whip her across the ring. Kim waits for her on the rebound and Polly ducks a clothesline and then Dawn blind tags in. Polly stops and turns and looks at her.

Polly: “I had this-“

Kim hen dropkicks Polly in the back of the head. Polly goes through the ropes to the floor. Dawn then enters the ring and runs at Kim and nails her with a hard right and then another and another. Polly winces on the floor. Dawn drags Kim up and whips her into the ropes. Kim bounces off and Dawn hits a spinning heel kick. Kim hits the mat. Dawn then dives onto her and starts to choke her.

Dawn shakes her head and turns and goes over to Kim, but Kim elbows her in the ribs. She hen jumps up and hits a pump kick to the side of Dawn’s head. Dawn falls over and Kim looks around. She looks at Cruze and then dives and tags him in.

Sharper: “And Kim with the counter and the tag!”

Kayl: “To Shaun Cruze! And Cruze and Williams seem to be more on the same page than Lohan and Playtime!”

Cruze enters and clotheslines Dawn down. Polly looks on from her corner. Cruze glances at her and doesn’t see her entering and Dawn gets up and Cruze scoops her up and slams her down. Dawn gets back up and Cruze hits a dropkick. Dawn rolls over and moves to the neutral corner. Cruze gets up and runs at her and clotheslines her in the chest, sandwiching her in the corner. He steps back and whips her across the ring. Cruze runs after and Dawn gets a boot up. Cruze staggers back and Dawn runs at Cruze and ducks a clothesline. She steps and hits a back kick to the ribs before then grabbing his leg and hitting a dragon screw leg whip. She then sits Cruze up and hits a shoot kick to the chest and then another to the chest before finishing the Lohan Barrage with a kick to the head. Cruze falls over. Dawn then steps forward and looks around. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan kicking Cruze repeatedly. The Lohan Barrage and-“

Knots: “Polly, it’s all yours!”

Dawn turns to Polly and extends her hand. Polly just shakes her head no and tells Lohan to handle it.

Kayl: “Guess Polly wants Dawn to take over.”

Lohan turns and Cruze scoops her up and goes for the C5, but Lohan slides down behind Cruze. She staggers back and then then suddenly, Kim nails her with the Morrigan’s Wrath. Dawn stumbles back and then into the Morality by Cruze. The crowd erupts.

Sharper: “Dawn countered, but right into one superkick and then the Morality. And look at Polly! Look at Polly!”

Knots: “What the hell?!”

Cruze hooks the leg.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd roars as Cruze rolls off and Polly hops down from the apron. She then looks in the ring as Kim enters and looks down at Dawn and squats next to her.

Kim: “Looks like you entered the wrong war, Dawnie!”

Cruze looks at Kim as Kim gets up and looks at him. Cruze and her just share a look as Cruze turns to Polly. Polly then walks around the ring before heading to the back. Dawn remains down in the ring as Cruze watches Polly. Kim then starts to stomp Dawn, causing her to roll through and fall to the floor. Kim waves as Kim backs off. Polly just storms to the back as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Polly Playtime can be seen walking backstage as we see Jessica Winters running over to her.

Winters: “Polly, can I get a word-“

Polly turns and grabs the microphone.

Polly: “Dawn wanted to prove she was more ready than me…well…results speak for themselves. Now…Dawn Lohan knows where I stand. Frank Delatosso too. And if anyone doubts whether I care about proving myself….watch in Australia what I do to Shaun. I am not going to be passed over.”

Polly goes to leave, but stops. She turns back.

Polly: “So they can learn or I will next time make sure its by my hand that Dawn or whoever else is humbled!”

Polly then turns and walks off as the scene cuts away.

An instrumental version of “Fortunate Son” by CCR plays in the background as American flags start to appear on all of the screens on the entrance set and on the rampway and any screens around the ring and at ringside. The crowd roars before some boos come out as we then see Gavin Taylor stepping out from one of the private boxes. Jenni Anderson stands next to him, waving, while Karl and Jack Barker stand behind him, arms crossed, protecting Gavin.

Sharper: “Well look who now is speaking.”

Kayl: “Great timing, after what we saw-“

Knots: “We saw nothing. It was a misunderstanding!”

Gavin Taylor waves to the crowd before giving a random person a thumbs up and then bringing a microphone to his mouth.

Gavin: “Los Angeles! Are you ready to Make America Gavin Again?”

The crowd roars.

Gavin: “It’s been a wonderful night. Amazing Amelia, my rightful number one contender, told Sleazy Selena off. Amelia, you deserve better. We’ll try to do it in Australia. A place that’s already been made great by me. A place where they recognize greatness. Greatness being me. Great Gavin. They call me that there.”

Gavin looks around.

Gavin: “But Zany Zoe, Sleazy Selena…”

Gavin shakes his head.

Gavin: “And Polly, Precious Polly…know that I’ve got your back. But you need to trust the process. There is no steal happening. Polly, you deserve better. We’re going to make sure you get better. But I hope you stop, take a moment, have a Diet Coke…calm down….and we can do wonderful things together.”

Knots: “Exactly! Listen to our champion, Polly! He’s always stood up for you!”

Gavin: “I mean it Polly! I’ve got your back. Just like I have the back of the EFN. Great people. Really good people. People who just want to be heard. And to hurt the right people. People like Crazy Chris. Chris. I can call you that. How about just Ch. You don’t deserve more. Just because you got in the way…sometimes things need to happen. And as I was stopping the steal, you were on the wrong side of history. And right now, others can deal with you. I have more important things. Things like being the Greatest World Champion of America in SCW history!”

The crowd roars before boos follow. Gavin nods and waves.

Gavin: “I know. I know. Did you know that I also was the inspiration for the initials SCW? Even before I was here, they knew they needed something to pizazz and you know what they did. They said we couldn’t have a G in the initials. Could never live up to Gavin. But now they can make SCW Gavin again. True story.”

Sharper: “What?”

Kayl: “Did…I don’t-“

Knots: “Shhhh!”

Gavin: “SCW really couldn’t exist with out me. Syren, Selena…S. Already in the initials. Don’t need you. And don’t need your egos. People who are represented by Aloof Alex. Just people who are here to stop what needs to happen. What is best for SCW. For America. Even allowing corruption to run rampant. Breaking down families. All this while supporting someone who illegally wiretapped the boss. People who do illegal things. Criminals. Angry people who will do angry things. They must be stopped. It’s what Amazing Amelia and Great Gavin. Again, they call me Great Gavin in Australia. We’re gonna make sure the steal can’t happen again. And that SCW is on the right path forward. That is our promise.”

The crowd boos a bit as Gavin Taylor looks around.

Gavin: “Because why Zany Zoe is going to think about last week….the fact is that everyone is gonna be talking about Retribution, when the steal was stopped for good, when Great Gavin made SCW great again and how we are in a new era, with new opportunities…new greatness. New benefits. Less Syren. And soon no Selena, thanks to Amazing Amelia. And you have me to thank for it. Along with our CEO who has sponsored us…who supports us. Who makes sure we can get the job done. And it’s gonna be a beautiful job.”

Gavin smiles.

Gavin: “Australia! Great Gavin is coming home. And Sleazy Selena, Zany Zoe…they will be coming home losers!”

Gavin nods.

Gavin: “God bless you all. And Make SCW Gavin Again!”

Gavin then takes off his World Championship and holds it over his head. The instrumental version of “Fortunate Son” starts to play again as Gavin looks around. Jenni continues to wave.

Sharper: “Another inane rambling from our World Champion.”

Knots: “You just can’t understand. He speaks to people. He gives them hope. Like Amelia. Like Polly!”

Gavin starts to thumbs up some fans and nod before Jenni turns and starts to walk back into the luxury box. We then cut away.

DURING THE BREAK:

We see a still of Jenni Anderson and Gavin Taylor in the luxury box.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. During the break, it appears that Gavin Taylor wasn’t going to stay in his luxury box to watch the EFN in action.”

Knots: “He’s an important man! He’s got places to be. Championship places to be!”

We then see Gavin Taylor motioning as Jenni steps forward, with some urgency as Karl and Jack Barker lead Jenni and Gavin our of the luxury box and through a door in the back. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

The Glimmer Sisters vs. European Fiery Nation

Off To War by Behemoth plays over the sound system with the lights being dark as ever as Ginny in the middle, Ludvig on the left and Dakon on the right-hand sides step out onto the stage, looking at the crowd and getting heavy boos. When the lights briefly come back on, you see Dakon, Ludvig and Ginny waving their Norway, Sweden and German flags.

Phillips: “The following non-title tag team match is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab… Dakon Theron and Ludvig Eriksson, the European Fiery Nation!”

The lights go out again as they walk down to the ring with their flags and step on the stairs, and do a hold-up in the middle of the ring as they gave their flags to Ginny out on the floor. When the lights return, Ginny returns to the back while Dakon and Ludvig pace around in the ring, eager for a fight.

Sharper: “The European Fiery Nation has been at war with the Shinigami Foundation/Phantom Troupe for a while now-”

Knots: “Which makes tonight a nice change of scenery for them!”

Kayl: “They've basically been playing extra security for Gavin as of late and things have been escalating, but the Troupe's had the upper hand for the most part.”

Sharper: “Tonight could be a night for Dakon and Ludvig to reverse their fortunes, though. They've been very vocal about believing they're the only 'real' team in SCW and should therefore be Tag Team Champions, and a non-title win tonight could get them to where they believe they should be, no questions asked.”

All the lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed” for battle. “Tongue Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. The SCW World Tag Title belts can be seen around their waists. They join hands and look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant display of pinks and yellows. At this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience. The mirror routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly interact with fans, Gina scoffing at some guy not worth her time in the front row desperately trying to get her number while Gia teases potentially flashing her side of the crowd only to stick her tongue out and tell them to “blame SCW” for the let down.

Phillips: “Their opponents, hailing from Cirque du Sins, they are the SCW World Tag Team Champions... Gia and Gina, the Glimmer Sisters!”

Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the hard cam side of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away from each other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they stick their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited cheers from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise getting from those that either aren't interested in them or see through the act. Once they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they lean back against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment before hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in sync. Once they're back in the ring the lighting returns to the underwater hues as they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again, before meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines down on them. They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes it seem like they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip their hair before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they grin and wink to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out again for a brief moment before coming back on as normal, the Glimmer Sisters separating and moving to their corner as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their eyes, slowly removing their titles from around their waists in the process.

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters stunned everyone back at Retribution when they regained the World Tag Team Titles from Selena Frost and Xander Valentine, and now all eyes are on them once again.”

Knots: “Just as they feel they should be!”

We briefly cut backstage as we hear the Glimmers' music fading and both teams decide who's going to start, seeing Clyde Sutter, Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan all watching on a monitor, looking unimpressed.

Knots: “Case in point! There's The Vision!”

Kayl: “They've been one of the more vocal teams about wanting to take the first crack at the twins' newest title reign.”

Sharper: “But the Glimmer Sisters have also been floating the idea of using the Trios contract we know Gina has for something involving our backstage interviewer Destiny Page and Dexter's follower in Wendell. As far as we know, nothing's official yet, but it's certainly been a sore spot for many people.”

Kayl: “Namely Dexter Grant. Earlier tonight we saw the Glimmers messing with Religious Wright to try and get him to do their dirty work, but Dexter decimated him in short order and made it clear he's not afraid to target the twins if they want to play games with people he apparently cares about.”

As we cut back to the ring, we see one of the twins stepping out onto the apron as the other licks her lips in eager anticipation. Dakon and Ludvig seem to have a very tense talk before Ludvig reassures Dakon he’s got this. Dakon warns him before stepping out onto the apron as referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell to start things. Gina, we’re going to assume, slowly saunters her way up to Ludvig, hips swaying as she runs her hands up her sides and along her breasts, clearly trying to entice the man she knows has shown interest in the past. Ludvig looks like he’s falling under her spell again, but then he grabs Gina and cracks her with a european uppercut! The fans boo as Ludvig forces Gina back into a neutral corner with a series of european uppercuts. Hollinsworth starts counting for a break in the corner, only getting to two before Ludvig backs up, showing no interest like before as he motions for Gina to come to him. She stumbles out of the corner and right into a cutter from Ludvig! He rolls her over and goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

2!

Gina kicks out!

Sharper: “Ludvig unfazed tonight by the antics of the Glimmer Sisters and this could actually be trouble for the twins.”

Kayl: “The last two times they’ve beaten the EFN, Ludvig being unable to control himself around them was a huge contributing factor. If he’s got his act together tonight, the Glimmers are going to need a new gameplan.”

Knots: “Can you blame him, though? We all remember what happened when they first met on the Rise To Greatness pre-show last year!”

Ludvig grabs Gina by the hair and drags her over to the EFN corner, tagging in Dakon. Once he enters, Dakon nods and smacks Ludvig in the chest as a show of respect before the two of them hook Gina and plant her with a double DDT! Ludvig reluctantly rolls out to the apron as Hollinsworth warns them, and Dakon hauls Gina back to her feet before scooping her up and powerslamming her into the mat! He goes for another cover.

1!

2!

Gina kicks out just as Gia dives in to break up the pin! As Dakon rolls away, Gia tries to create a messy body pile with Gina, perhaps hoping to pull a switch in the confusion, but Ludvig is quick to point it out and Steve Hollinsworth steps in, his eyes trained on Gia as he forces the correct twin back to her corner.

Sharper: “Say what you will about the European Fiery Nation, but these two are proving they’ve learned from their mistakes and they’re making sure the twins aren’t pulling any of their tricks tonight!”

Knots: “Gavin’s taught them well! They know how to stop the steal, and the Glimmers are notorious for stealing around here!”

We briefly cut backstage again to see The Vision nodding, with Melinda and Fiona seemingly taking notes. Back in the ring, Gia looks irritated as Gina slowly gets back to her feet, but Dakon boots her in the gut to double her over. He hoists her up for a powerbomb, but while he’s getting her positioned on his shoulders, Gina starts trying to grind on his face! This gets the fans cheering as Dakon tosses Gina off, rubbing his face in disgust as Gina lands on her feet. Gina runs off the ropes, with Gia reaching out and legally tagging herself in, as Gina connects with a lou thesz press and makes sure to drive her chest right into Dakon’s face on the landing! He quickly shoves her off, growing more irritated as he rises and charges at her, but Gina drops down into a split just as Gia throws a roundhouse kick over Gina’s head that rocks Dakon! The fans are roaring as the twins smirk at one another before Gia steps back. Gina rolls back and gets her feet up as Gia charges in, using her sister’s feet like a pole vault as Gina elevates Gia into a dragonrana onto Dakon! She hooks the legs and holds the seated rana position for the pin.

1!

2!

Ludvig enters the ring and boots Gia in the face to break it up! This causes Gina to throw herself at him, hammering away at him with right hands as she tries to pull herself up onto him enough to shove her chest into his face, but he tries to block this and returns fire with shots of his own as the two of them tumble through the ropes and out to the floor!

Sharper: “Impressive teamwork by the Glimmers to get back into this match!”

Kayl: “You get so caught up in their sex appeal that you forget these two are circus-trained, and they can surprise you with innovative offense just like that!”

Knots: “That kind of looked like their own little twist on one of Selena’s signature moves!”

Gia and Dakon both recover at about the same time, pulling themselves back to their feet. Gia catches Dakon with a forearm strike across the jaw, but Dakon responds with a european uppercut! The two of them go back and forth, trading forearm shots and european uppercuts. We cut to a different angle to see that Ludvig has managed to get the better of Gina out on the floor, and the fans are roaring in anticipation as he pulls a table out from under the ring and sets it up! This gets Hollinsworth’s attention as he leans over the top rope, warning Ludvig about using the table, but it falls on deaf ears as he rolls Gina onto the table and nails her with a few more shots to keep her there. Behind the referee, we see the strike exchange continuing before Gia dodges a european uppercut with a matrix bridge! As Dakon moves in to turn this against her, she swings her leg up and low blows him! The fans groan as Dakon looks to be in intense pain, with Gia slowly dragging her foot away from his groin as he falls over.

Sharper: “Ludvig’s got a table set up, and the referee’s so distracted by its presence that he missed the low blow!”

Knots: “That’s the tricky thing about the Glimmers: you take away one sneaky scheme, they’ve got ten more to fall back on!”

Ludvig, too tunnel-visioned to take notice of what just happened to Dakon, climbs onto the apron and then to the top turnbuckle, perhaps thinking Swedish Fiery Press to drive Gina through the table. As he gets up to the second turnbuckle, though, Gia suddenly blasts him right in the ear with a superkick! Ludvig slips off the turnbuckles and just barely manages to hold onto the top rope, but Gia starts laying into him with forearm strikes to try and knock him off the apron. Ludvig manages to respond with a stiff european uppercut that backs Gia up and gives him some space. He glances back but sees that Gina is not only no longer on the table, but has disappeared entirely. Furious, he catches Gia moving back in with another european uppercut before he hooks her, intending to suplex her out of the ring and through the table! The fans are roaring in anticipation as Ludvig lifts her up, but Gina suddenly emerges from under the ring on the adjacent side and rolls in, grabbing her sister’s legs and pulling her back down before they blast Ludvig with stereo superkicks! Ludvig somehow manages to cling to the top rope to avoid falling through the table, but this causes Gina to run off the ropes as Gia pops her up over the top rope and into a seated senton that takes Ludvig off the apron and through the table!

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters! Gina, I’m assuming that was Gina, elevated by her twin and sending Ludvig through the table he set up!”

Knots: “That was both the best and worst experience of Ludvig’s life!”

Kayl: “Watch Dakon, though!”

Gia glances at the wreckage as her sister rolls off of Ludvig before she and Steve Hollinsworth get into a brief discussion about a potential DQ because the table just so happened to break their fall. Hollinsworth climbs out of the ring to check on Gina and Ludvig, and Gia turns just as Dakon, who had rolled out of the ring during that exchange, rolls back in and drives a steel chair right into her gut! The fans boo as Gia drops to her knees, coughing and gasping for breath. Dakon raises the chair above his head, perhaps intending to bring it down right on top of Gia’s head, but she suddenly looks up and spits a blue mist right into Dakon’s face! Dakon staggers back, tripping over himself as he ends up in the corner, holding up the chair like a shield as he tries to clear his vision, but Gia pulls herself up and runs into the corner with Dreaming of Dat Ass, crushing Dakon’s head between the chair and the turnbuckle!

Sharper: “Dakon, trying to take advantage of the referee’s distraction with that chair, but Gia just spat something into Dakon’s eyes!”

Kayl: “Almost kind of her own little twist on the Blood Moon! Paying homage to ENIGMA from when Gina teamed with him for Trios!”

Dakon falls out of the corner, the chair resting on his chest, as Gia looks around with a grin. She glances over to see that Gina is making sure Hollinsworth remains distracted on the floor, which leads to Gia climbing to the top turnbuckle. She takes one last glance back to make sure everything’s in place before she leaps off and crashes down across the chair and Dakon’s chest with the Grand Finale! She briefly pops up, clutching at her chest in pain as she shoves the chair off of Dakon and out of the ring before making the cover, hooking the leg. Gina points out the pin as Hollinsworth, who missed everything involving the chair, slides in and makes the count.

2!

3!

He calls for the bell as “Tongue Twister” hits the speakers again. Gina rolls back into the ring and helps Gia up, the two of them looking a little worse for wear for a change but they happily let Hollinsworth raise their arms in victory.

Phillips: “Here are your winners… the Glimmer Sisters!”

Sharper: “Dakon and Ludvig, as they’ve been prone to do, tried to turn this into a hardcore brawl despite it going against the rules, but in doing so, they gave the Glimmers the opening they needed to play their game and get the win.”

Knots: “It goes to show you that just when you think you’ve got all the answers for these twins, they’ll happily change the questions!”

Kayl: “It makes me wonder… is there anyone that can truly stop these two?”

As Dakon rolls out to the floor in a heap and Ludvig still lays in the wreckage of what was once a table, Gia and Gina retrieve their title belts, wincing from some of what they went through but still happy to tease the fans. We see Gia, uncaring of the blue substance she spat at Dakon leaking from her mouth and down across her chest, telling Gina about what she did when Dakon was sitting in the corner, which leads to her bending over as Gina rubs her ass as if to make her feel better, the fans buzzing at the sight. Their fun is interrupted, however, as “TokSik” by Starset suddenly hits the speakers, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage as the big screen shows a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. It’s not long before Dexter Grant marches his way out onto the stage, looking down at the Glimmers in disgust as they stop their teasing and look at him up on the stage in amusement.

Sharper: “Dexter Grant back out here now and he made himself pretty clear earlier: if the Glimmers want to play games with his follower, he said he’s going to destroy them!”

Grant starts to walk to the ring, only for Fiona Logan and Melinda Braddock to step out from the back and then step out in front of him. Grant goes to move past them, but Logan and Braddock continue to obstruct before Grant looks in the ring. We then cut to show the Glimmers looking on smug, before we see Grant reluctantly back away. Fiona and Melinda turn back to Gina and Gia before Melinda points at the titles. Gia, we believe, smirks before then confidently placing it around her waist.

Just then, we cut to the luxury box Gavin Taylor was in earlier to see Chris Dumont storming into the box, joined by Aisling Reed, and with them is Kevin Slayton and Gabriel Marik. Dumont looks around as Aisling just scans the floor. Dumont then taps a microphone in his hand.

Sharper: “Look! Look in the luxury box!”

Knots: “That’s Gavin’s!”

Kayl: “Not anymore!”

Dumont: “Gavin! Figured like everything else you’d do, it’s covered in trash. Well, you seemed to know that you need to get the hell out of dodge. But I hope you know you can’t run forever, Gavin!”

The crowd roars.

Dumont: “Maybe I just name one place…you can keep your head looking all around. Australia. Hubris….Four way. I can do what I want to you and I don’t give a damn about your World Title reign.”

The crowd roars.

Dumont: “Sooner or later, Gavin…sooner or later, I get my hands on you and no one will be able to stop me!”

Dumont brings the microphone down. He then looks around at the luxury box.

Knots: “That’s…that’s out World Champion he’s talking about.”

Kayl: “Are you surprised? He tried to take him out. Dumont isn’t going to just stop!”

Sharper: “And it looks like he’s calling his next shot and Gavin Taylor better be ready. He’s got multiple targets on his back!”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

We see Dexter Grant storming down one of the major hallways backstage before we see him stop as we hear a slow clap. Grant turns and we see Scarlett Carsons walking forward.

Grant: “You…”

Carsons: “Me.”

Grant: “What do you want? You don’t need to thank me for mentioning you a few weeks back.”

Carsons: “Didn’t plan to.”

Grant: “So then what.”

Carsons: “If you are going to go after them…you’ll need an actual partner. Unless Wendell is hiding much more skill. I’m not telling you anything you didn’t already know. But if you want to win, you may need a partner who can out think them.”

Carsons walks forward.

Grant: “And that would be you?”

Carsons shrugs.

Carsons: “I may have my own fights. But fights that may need back up in their own way.”

Carsons then walks off as Grant watches her leave, briefly intrigued, before turning and walking off.

Deanna Frost vs. Kemal Yilmaz

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out steps Deanna Frost. She then stops and turns and runs her hands through her hair before turning as we see crew member running out, holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship. Deanna turns and thanks the crew member. She then takes the title and shakes her head and starts to walk to the ring.

Sharper: “And Deanna Frost coming out. Clearly distracted by everything going on.”

Knots: “Maybe she should know her place. Firmly behind Selena!”

Sharper: “Stop it!”

Her entrance graphics continue as the 'leaves' follow her as she does.

Phillips: “The following contest is a non-title match, scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, from Manhattan, New York, the SCW Adrenaline Championship, she is Deanna Frost!”

The 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers, while Deanna walks down to the ring. She continues to make her way down before suddenly shaking her head and starting to high-five fans, almost as if reminding herself that she needs to do so. She then pulls herself into the ring. She then walks over to the corner, handing off the title. But as she does this, the crowd roars as we see Kemal Yilmaz running down from the back.

Sharper: “Deanna simplifying things coming out-“

Kayl: “Kemal Yilmaz is changing it up! Deanna! Look out!”

Knots: “Looks like Kemal has no problem coming out and helping out again!”

Ginny Raab takes a few steps as Kemal Yilmaz runs down and slides into the ring. Deanna turns around as Yilmaz runs over and nails her with a hard right. The official, Steve Hollinsworth, heads over and tries to pull him off. Yilmaz tees off on Deanna, nailing her over and over and over again. Deanna covers up as Yilmaz then turns to kicks, kicking her in the ribs and then stomping her. Deanna continues to cover up as the crowd boos.

Sharper: “Yilmaz is mugging Deanna Frost! Jumped her from behind!”

Kayl: “It’s another week of this.”

Knots: “She is following Selena’s career trajectory! The difference is she deserves it now!”

Yilmaz continues to stomp on Deanna, the camera getting a close up shot showing the violence of Yilmaz’s attacks before Yilmaz grabs Deanna and pulls her up and throws her down across the ring. Yilmaz follows after and brings his arms up.

Sharper: “Yilmaz throwing Deanna out.”

Knots: “Looking for the Turkish Acid Cross!”

Yilmaz starts to wait as Deanna starts to get up, on her hands and knees. She gets up and Yilmaz pounces. But as he goes for it, Deanna somersaults forward and then turns and kicks Yilmaz in the face. She spins around and kicks him in the knee. Yilmaz drops down to a knee. Deanna then boots him in the face. Yilmaz falls back and Deanna crawls over and dives onto him. She nails him with repeated hard right hands. She fires away as the crowd erupts. Frost hammers away on the face of Kemal Yilmaz as he covers up.

Sharper: “And Deanna Frost, showing that true grit. Going after Yilmaz! Hammering away!”

Knots: “Has the bell sounded?”

Sharper: “This is all just a fight. No bell. No match yet!”

Knots: “Ring the bell and disqualify her!”

Deanna continues her assault and nails him over and over and over again before we see Dean Black heading down to the ring. He rolls into the ring. He then runs over and grabs Deanna and pulls her off. Deanna tries to fight off and looks around as Yilmaz scrambles over to the ropes. Deanna turns and looks at him.

Deanna: “Get off me! Get-“

Black starts to pull her back and the official, Steve Hollinsworth gets in between Kemal and Deanna, but then Kemal gets up and runs over and nails Deanna in the back of the head. The crowd boos as Deanna goes down. Dean steps forward and tells Kemal to get back.

Sharper: “Dean Black out here and pulling Deanna off. Where was he when Kemal came out!”

Kayl: “And then distracting Deanna…What the hell happened, man?”

Knots: “What? I saw nothing. Deanna has been off all night!”

Kemal leans back against the ropes and holds his hand up, smiling. The crowd boos some more as we then see Dawn Lohan running down from the back. Dawn Lohan runs down and slides in. Deanna turns and Dawn Lohan attacks her from behind as Deanna gets up to go after Kemal. The crowd boos. Dawn then stomps away on Deanna as Deanna grabs at the leg of Dawn. Dean Black keeps Kemal back, seemingly ignoring Dawn. Deanna keeps trying to get Dawn down as she kicks at Deanna before we see Kimberly Williams running out from the back. The crowd erupts as she runs down and slides in. Dawn turns, but Deanna holds onto her leg and Dawn nearly falls over as Kim nails her with a clothesline. Dawn goes down, rolling to the apron, but just as this happens, Dean turns around and stops Kim. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Dean Black now holding Kim back.”

Kayl: “Now if that wasn’t fishy at all!”

Deanna Frost starts to roll over as Kim is held back by Dean Black. Kim tries to get free and manages to push Dean back before nailing him with a hard right. Dean staggers, but just then, Dawn springboards to the top rope and then nails Kimberly Williams with the Wonderful Forearm. The crowd ohs. Kim goes down. Dawn smirks and gets up as Kemal goes to stop Deanna, but Deanna sidesteps and sends Kemal through the ropes. She then runs at Dawn who drops down and rolls to the floor.

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan with the forearm on Kim!”

Kayl: “Deanna Frost up and fighting! Even when it was unfair!”

Knots: “Picking a fight she can’t win. What a shock!”

Sharper: “After earlier, Dawn Lohan needed a win. She got one. And she’s not letting the challenges with Polly stop what her goal is. To become a Supreme Champion!”

Kim winces as Deanna stands at the ropes, looking at Dawn, guarding her friend Kim as Kemal gets up on the floor. Deanna turns, watching him too as Dawn starts to back up. Dean ends up on the floor, wiping some blood from his lip as he looks in the ring and then the scene cuts away.

Xander Valentine vs. Glory Braddock

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell GLORY BRADDOCK!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity

People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.  Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “Glory Braddock and Xander Valentine have a long history. Long time rivals. They’ve had some big matches. And tonight, this is all stemming from Glory taking issue with Xander helping Syren last week.”

Knots: “Emotions are running high in SCW. Why? They know change is coming. Glory knows it. And she wants to be on the right side of history.”

Sharper: “Sure…using the same words as Gavin, huh?”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado… from Rochester, New York… weighing in at 300 pounds, standing at six foot ten inches, he is the SCW Hall of Famer, a former SCW World Champion, the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Suffocate me until I am blue

To preserve my bad worldview

Paranoid, All Eyes On Me

Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell.

Sharper: “First time we’re seeing Xander in the ring since Retribution.”

Kayl: “Looks like the rematch for the World Tag Team Championship is on the sideburner thanks to Selena Frost selling her soul.”

Sharper: “And we now stand here, wondering where Xander fits in with this growing fight between CHBK and Delatosso and the future of SCW.”

The bell sounds. Glory looks at Xander as she walks along the ropes. Xander watches her. She then lunges at Xander and goes for the leg. Sharper: “And that was a huge win for Glory. A big personal one. She’s always seen Xander as her measuring stick and tonight, she beats him!”

Kayl: “I could stand here and talk about distractions. What’s going on with Selena, but Xander wouldn’t want to hear that. He came in to fight. He brought his best and tonight, Glory Braddock was just better!”

Knots: “Who did Ryan face at Fatal Fortunes? And who saved her? I think Ryan Lecavalier is returning the favour!”

Kayl: “He’s been trying to help Selena!”

Knots: “Not from Selena’s point of view!”

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering. She looks around at her hometown crowd.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Sharper: “We’ve heard from Amelia Nevado and Selena Frost. We’ve heard from Gavin Taylor. And now, in her hometown, of LA, Syren.”

Knots: “Who should be waiting in line! But no…CHBK had to pull a fast one.”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Syren steps up to her feet and goes to the corner. She grabs a microphone waiting for her and walks back to the middle of the ring. She then looks around as her music fades out. A “Syren!” chant echoes throughout the arena. Syren listens to the crowd for several moments as she nods.

Syren: “Los Angeles! It’s good to be home!”

The crowd roars. We then cut briefly backstage to the tunnel to see Lucas Knight and Dillusion standing guard as Gavin Taylor storms over, joined by Dean Black, Mr. Black, Religious Wright and the All-Star Secret Service.

Knight: “You’re going to stand here and listen. She let you talk…”

Dean: “You’re not the head agent.”

CHBK then walks up behind Gavin and his entourage.

CHBK: “But I am your boss…And I can still fire you. So…”

Gavin looks at Dean and then to CHBK as we cut back to the ring.

Syren: “I had hoped that I was still going to be the World Champion when SCW rolled into Los Angeles. To come home, holding a title I, for years, wasn’t sure I was going to hold, but that I had promised I’d hold again….that would be pretty cool.”

Syren shakes her head.

Syren: “But that’s not what happened. Gavin Taylor happened. And then Amelia Nevado happened. But then Selena Frost and I happened and despite my making sure we have this shot, Selena Frost couldn’t handle that for one night, we’d have to share. And so instead, after getting us the shot we have at Hubris, in Australia….I was looking up at the lights. Another ego in my way. And trust me, I’ve heard it all from people like Selena.”

Syren walks around the ring a bit.

Syren: “but none of that matters. Because I have the one thing that makes me dangerous. A singular goal. I am the man that beat Cid Turner and ended his Cinderella run. I did that when I had a singular focus. Gavin Taylor may have beat me before, but I did something Amelia, nor Selena could this last year. Even when, as Amelia reminded us, Selena called her shot. And I did it one on one. Something, you, Gavin, can’t say in both times you’ve had my shoulders to the mat. Now, at Hubris, anything can happen. It’s a four way. And I already know that you’ll do anything to win…that Selena Frost is as desperate as they come….and Amelia…well, she’s standing with Frank Delatosso. So I supposed even someone like her can be corrupted and may well do whatever she needed. Given that Gavin and Amelia seem to be somewhat on the same side, I can only imagine what plans may be in action. Plans….”

Syren smirks.

Syren: “Plans.”

Syren looks at the camera as we cut to the tunnel, where Gavin Taylor is watching the Syren’s words. We then notice a figure in the corner, glancing over with long red hair, wearing bagging SCW clothes.

Syren: “I don’t know if anyone can be as well planned as me. Between one of the best strategists in SCW history as my partner in more ways than one, and one…of…well, let’s just say she’s got a lot covered…I’ll have plans. The difference is that I am coming to make it clear that Gavin Taylor won’t get one over me with the World Title on the line again. I promise you Gavin, I don’t care about making SCW Gavin Again. I do care about knocking you around and maybe knocking some sense into you and making sure you realize you’ve messed with the wrong person!”

Syren looks at the camera.

Syren: “And Selena, Amelia, don’t think I’m forgetting about either of you. My singular goal is to be World Champion and through that…I’ll go through all of you if I have to. And Selena, you’ll have ruined your marriage for NOTHING. Amelia…you’ll have sold your soul for nothing. And Gavin, you’ll be bitching about the steal forever, but you’ll be able to do nothing about it as I walk out of Australia as the nine-time World Champion. And all three of you, and anyone else who has a problem with it…can be oh so totally JEALOUS!”

The crowd yells her catchphrase with her as “Groupie” then starts to play. Syren brings the microphone down as she looks at the camera.

Sharper: “Syren as intense as we’ve seen her. She’s as focused as we’ve seen her.”

Kayl: “Straight to the point. And Gavin, you may have a long night ahead of you.”

Syren then backs up and turns to the crowd, playing to them. We then cut to the back as Gavin turns to CHBK.

Gavin: “Just pathetic. This is exactly what we are fighting against. We will stop the steal. Me, Amelia, and everyone on the right side of history. Come on, All-Star Secret Service…Dean…”

Gavin turns and walks off, joined by A.S.S.S., Wright, and Mr. Black. Dean Black looks at CHBK before turning and walking after Gavin. CHBK watches them leave as Lucas Knight steps up. We then cut to the ring, Syren continues to play to the crowd as the scene fades out…
