“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid

Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie

Can't stop this screamin' voice

Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing the Fall of Man standing tall. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Enigma, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

This is the face

I hate the other side of me

Out of this cage

He breaks to take the life from me

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Shinigami Foundation standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

I'm closer to the edge

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery

Insane

These voices in my brain

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see the Glimmer Sisters making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Meghan Strader are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We come from a Taste of Things to Come to a brand new landscape in SCW!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Devon Kayl and Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here alongside Devon Kayl, and yes, Jonathan Knots is back.”

Knots: “The hell is he doing here?”

Kayl just smirks.

Sharper: “We are here in Atlanta. We have a new World Champion. New World Tag Team Champions. And there is a big question over the status of the SCW Underground Championship here in SCW. A lot to get to.”

Knots: “Yeah. And Syren, our new World Champion, isn’t going to rest on her laurels for too long. She’ll be in action later.”

Kayl: “And we’ll see Shaun Cruze also in action against David Striker. Glory Braddock will face Kemal Yilmaz and much more to come!”

The chords of “People Like Us” by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The SCW Adrenaline Championship sits around her waist. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Sharper: “And we start off with the Shot of Adrenaline tournament winner. Deanna Frost did it. Ran the table, start to finish! A testament to her recovery after a rough 2024, a rebound in 2025, and a statement here to start 2026.”

Knots: “Uh huh…”

Sharper: “What?”

Knots: “It’s over. We can celebrate. But what would’ve happened if Chris Dumont was around? Or wait? Spencer Pryce?”

Kayl: “The hell is wrong with you? She still defeat great talent. Kimberly Williams, Polly Playtime, Dexter Grant, Chris Lawler-“

Knots: “How about Selena Frost?”

Sharper: “Selena Frost has a title opportunity, she is the number one contender to the Adrenaline Championship.”

Deanna heads to the ring as the crowd cheers her. She high fives a few fans before reaching the ring and sliding in. The redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She does the same to the other sides of the ring. She then turns and asks for a microphone from Jason Phillips. Phillips obliges, handing her one. She turns back to the middle of the ring. The music fades out and Deanna looks around as the crowd cheers her. She stands proudly in the ring, as Adrenaline Champion.

Deanna: “A year ago, I didn’t know if I’d be standing back in this ring and at this level. I was dealing with the consequences….of a war that no one understood and even my own psyche couldn’t understand…but then I came back before Rise to Greatness to do the right thing. And while I fell short in regaining the US Championship…I knew I had to fight. I had get back to where I knew I wanted to be.”

Deanna paused.

Deanna: “I’ve been standing here, no longer the Queen’s Guard…no longer part of the House of Frost….no longer tied to Selena. No matter what so many people wanted to say. I know people have asked for answers there, but there are reasons as to why I’m standing with Selena as World Tag Team Champion. There are reasons why I stand here alone…”

Deanna pauses again. The crowd cheers though.

Deanna: “And one of those reasons was to prove to myself I could stand alone. No matter what any of you think about Selena, she is one of the greatest in SCW history.”

The crowd boos. Deanna hears the boos, acknowledging them only to continue.

Deanna: “But I have needed to do what I can to stand on my own. And sure, I had an amazing run as US Champion, but after what Veil did…people wondered if it was really as impressive. I’ve heard the whispers. SCW was in transition. New talent. Talent that was trying to figure things out. We’re all human. While I had a year long reign, was it really as memorable or career-defining as others. Numbers don’t make the champion. But…”

Deanna looks down at the Adrenaline Championship.

Deanna: “I went through seven others. I’m the only one who faced Spencer Pryce and won before he had to unfortunately exit. I faced everyone in the tournament and walked out victorious. I took on the past, the present, the future of SCW and the Adrenaline Division and won. Seven matches in the round robin, two matches at a Taste of Things to Come, and I won them all to win the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament!”

The crowd cheers.

Deanna: “A tournament that people clamoured to have back. People saw it as the challenge that it was and all of you clearly enjoyed as we saw classic competition at A Taste of Things to Come regardless of my issues with what Polly Playtime did. And I heard those comments made by our CEO and I’m sorry, Mr. Delatosso, but you’re wrong. Just as Kim was wrong to criticize this tournament. The Shot of Adrenaline Tournament was an opportunity, an opportunity for some to take the next step, for others to show what they can do in the ring, and for me…to prove to myself again that I belong. And to have CHBK stand in this ring and hand me the Shot of Adrenaline trophy. To make it special. That counts. That matters! And that’s important. That’s a man that understands what we do in this ring.”

The crowd roars as Deanna Frost looks around.

Deanna: “So I hope you reconsider, Mr. Delatosso. Because your comments worried me and many others that you don’t understand what we do in this ring and-“

Just then, Polly Playtime slides into the ring behind Deanna Frost and nails her from behind with a running clothesline. Deanna goes down to the mat and rolls over. Polly turns and stomps her in the chest over and over as the crowd boos. Deanna covers up as Polly drops down to her knees and nails her with a couple of hard rights. Deanna rolls over to her side as Polly then turns and grabs Deanna’s microphone. Deanna turns, wincing in pain. Polly turns to her.

Polly: “How about you go back to shutting the hell up?”

The crowd boos.

Polly: “You may have gotten through Shot of Adrenaline, but with that albatross gone, time for things to get a bit more interesting around here!”

Deanna starts to fight up to a knee and Polly turns and nails her with the microphone.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime again attacking Deanna Frost! Frist after the bell at A Taste of Things to Come and now tonight!”

Knots: “That’s how you make a real impact! Polly’s the one on everyone’s tongue. Not Deanna!”

Polly Playtime gets up as Deanna rolls over in pain. The crowd boos as Polly throws the microphone down. She then looks at Deanna and then backs up and exits the ring. She drops down to the floor. The crowd continues to boo as Polly Playtime heads to the back.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Deanna Frost walking down the hallway. She takes a few steps before walking over to CHBK.

CHBK: “Well, you have a target on your back.”

Deanna: “Seems so.”

CHBK: “Noticed you didn’t focus on the other thing you get for winning the tournament as you did….the title shot against any title you want.”

Deanna: “The Adrenaline Championship deserved the attention tonight. Especially after what he said.”

CHBK: “Let me focus on him. You deserved what you earned. And I hope you think about it. The Adrenaline Championship deserves attention, but you deserve to recognize that you’ve got the confidence to be whatever you want to be.”

Deanna: “At this point…maybe it’s best I wait to see whether Selena wants to challenge me.”

Deanna chuckles a bit.

Deanna: “Yeah. We’ll see what she does.”

CHBK: “Or you focus on what you to do.”

CHBK goes to walk off, but Deanna stops him.

Deanna: “CHBK….by the way, thanks…and for the trophy. Good to see someone cared.”

CHBK: “You deserved it…”

CHBK walks off. Deanna nods and the scene cuts away.

Simon Lyman vs. Colleen MacDnoald

SCW Television Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Television Championship!”

The crowd buzzes before “Hero” by Skillet plays. The crowd roars. A few moments pass before we see Simon Lyman walk out from the back, wearing his wrestling robe. He looks around as he pauses for a few seconds, taking in the moment. He then looks up and looks around the arena. The crowd cheers as Simon then heads to the ring.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, hailing from Columbus, Ohio, he is Simply Sensational... Simon Lyman!”

Simon walks down the entrance way. Simon walks over to the ring and over to the steel steps. He grabs the ringpost and climbs up the steps and onto the apron. He then steps into the ring. He steps around and extends his arms as the crowd cheers him. He looks around for a few moments before undoing his robe. He slides it down and places it on the outside. He then walks around the ring before going to the corner and stretching out.

Sharper: “Simon gave a very passionate speech on the last Breakdown before A Taste of Things to Come, talking about his well-being and how much he still wants this after Fatal Fortunes saw him take a catastrophic fall.”

Knots: “This crazy S.O.B. got thrown off one ladder through another by ENIGMA and still had the balls to call him out for another Underground Title shot!”

Kayl: “Simon absolutely wants to go out on his terms and give this business however much he's got left, and while a rematch with ENIGMA may be off the table now, he could still make a big statement tonight if he happens to win a very different, yet still very demanding, title to hold.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear and having the SCW Television Title belt around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Orderville, Utah, she is the SCW Television Champion... Colleen MacDonald!”

She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, removing the title from around her waist and handing it to referee Jennifer Cassidy to hold up as she begins warming up before the bell rings. The Television Title logo flashes across the screen.

Sharper: “Speaking of Fatal Fortunes, Colleen won the Television Title in a fatal four way on the exact same night as Simon's failed Underground Title opportunity, and she silenced any doubt by successfully defending it over the former champion Federico Gasperini at A Taste of Things to Come.”

Kayl: “2026 is already off to a great start for her, and you know she'd love to keep it that way and continue proving herself.”

Knots: “Why, so she can prove she's a better TV Champion than Polly ever was and take that away from her, too?”

Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell and Simon and Colleen slowly approach one another. Simon tries to lock up, but Colleen just catches him in the face with a right hand, followed by a second one that backs him towards the corner. She throws a third one, but Simon manages to block and responds with some right hands of his own, backing Colleen towards the center of the ring now. He hits her with one more to stun her before booting her in the gut to double her over. Simon runs off the adjacent ropes and tries to catch her with a running knee lift, but Colleen jerks back to avoid it before she runs off the same ropes, leaping at a turning Simon and throwing all her body weight into a huge jumping clothesline that takes him to the mat!

Sharper: “Colleen putting everything she had into that big clothesline to try and gain the early upper-hand.”

Kayl: “I think she learned her lesson from facing Federico at the pay-per-view. Simon’s quite a bit bigger than Colleen too and that may require some extra ‘oomph’ to get the results she wants.”

Knots: “I mean, she’s definitely got a lot of weight to throw around! Simon better be careful if he doesn’t want to end up back in the hospital!”

Colleen gets back to her feet and sees Simon trying to roll back to his. She moves over to stomp on him and impede his progress. Once Simon does make it back to his feet, Colleen grabs his arm and irish whips him into the corner. As soon as Simon hits the turnbuckles, Colleen charges in right behind him and throws all her weight into another clothesline! Simon looks dazed for a moment before he slumps into a seated position, the fans buzzing as Colleen sees this and nods to herself before backing up. She charges in, perhaps already looking for The Facewarmer, but Simon suddenly pulls himself up enough to catch her in the knees with a basement dropkick, tripping her up and sending her facefirst into the middle turnbuckle!

Sharper: “Colleen was starting to get on a roll, but Simon, the longtime veteran, cutting her off and averting disaster.”

Knots: “I’ll say! Maybe Colleen should go find the Glimmers for some tips on how to have a huge ass that’s actually worth looking at!”

Kayl: “Ignoring Jon’s crude comments, Simon probably knows full well taking such big blows to the head could trigger something and he needs to avoid that at all costs. We saw shades of it during the match with ENIGMA before the ladder incident.”

Colleen slowly uses the turnbuckles to pull herself back to her feet, trying to get her bearings. She slowly turns just as Simon runs at her and catches her with a swinging neckbreaker! He pulls her away from the corner and goes for a cover, hooking the leg to make sure her feet can’t find the ropes for a break.

2!

Colleen gets a shoulder up! Simon just nods to himself before he pulls Colleen to her feet and tries to irish whip her into the opposite corner, only for Colleen to reverse it! Simon hits the turnbuckles and Colleen rushes in after him, but this time Simon gets his boot up and catches her in the face! She staggers back as Simon hops up onto the second turnbuckle, taking a moment to make sure he’s steady before he leaps off and catches her with a diving forearm smash! He gets back up and adds a standing elbow drop for good measure before staying on top of Colleen for another cover.

1!

2!

Colleen kicks out again!

Sharper: “All the momentum’s going in Simon’s favor now and this is where all those years of experience work to his advantage.”

Kayl: “Colleen’s had a hell of a career so far in SCW, but Simon’s been doing this for so much longer and has been in this spot so many times it’s second nature to him by now.”

Knots: “Maybe this would be a good time for Colleen to follow Polly’s path. Do something that gets her out of here with the title and hurts Simon even if she technically doesn’t win the match!”

Colleen slowly gets back to her feet, and as she turns, Simon catches her with a beautiful standing dropkick! Colleen ends up falling against the ropes, rebounding right into Simon who utilizes a headlock takeover to get her to the mat. He maintains the headlock, trying to wear Colleen down. Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Colleen, but she refuses to submit and starts trying to get back to her feet, even with Simon hanging on. He wrenches on the side headlock he now has, and Colleen responds with an elbow to the gut. A second one loosens Simon’s grip enough that she’s able to back him up against the ropes and fire him off. Simon rebounds and tries to catch Colleen with a clothesline, but Colleen ducks it and runs off the ropes herself, catching Simon as they both rebound with a huge spear right in the center of the ring! She rolls into a cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Simon gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Huge spear from Colleen and she desperately needed that to turn the tide of this match!”

Kayl: “Sudden impact and she’s got Simon in a bad way right now.”

Knots: “I bet Simon’s still wishing he’d have just let Ryan keep pretending to be him right now!”

Simon rolls over onto his belly, trying to catch his breath after the huge spear he just ate. Colleen moves to step over him before she just drops, sitting with all of her weight on Simon’s lower back! Simon cries out in pain before Colleen reaches down and starts pulling his head back in an almost-camel clutch submission, trying to put even more pressure on his back. Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Simon, but he refuses to submit and starts trying to drag himself towards the ropes. He reaches out and manages to grab the bottom rope, leading to Jennifer Cassidy counting for the break!

3!

Colleen releases the hold and rolls off of Simon, watching him as he uses the ropes to slowly guide himself over to the corner. Seeing the position he’s in, Colleen motions to the fans before she charges in, once again looking for The Facewarmer! Simon, however, manages to move just in time and Colleen’s ass slams directly into the turnbuckle! Coleen cries out as she staggers out of the corner, right into a slow-rising Simon who manages to plant her with A Change in Attitude!

Sharper: “A Change in Attitude! Simon avoids The Facewarmer once again and plants Colleen in the center of the ring!”

Knots: “He’s not following up, though! Maybe the wear and tear is finally starting to get to him!”

Kayl: “I really hate to say this, but you may have a point, Jon. Simon may have had the upper hand for most of this match, but the offense Colleen has delivered thus far has been devastating.”

Simon slowly pulls himself back to his feet, starting to feel energized by the cheers of the fans for this hard-fought match. He grabs Colleen and drags her over to the corner, hoisting her over his shoulder as he slowly climbs up to the second turnbuckle, sitting on the top turnbuckle for a moment to steady himself and make sure Colleen is secure. He prepares to leap off for Putting on a Show, but Colleen suddenly catches him with a back elbow to the side of the head, followed by a second one! Simon wobbles as Colleen attempts to squirm free and get herself back down on the mat, and the struggle between the two of them ultimately causes Simon to fall back, tumbling over the top rope as he and Colleen share a nasty landing on the apron that looks like Simon still connected with Putting on a Show, but also looks like Colleen angled herself enough to crush Simon’s head against the apron with The Collapser! They both fall to the floor as the fans audibly groan at the impact.

Sharper: “Colleen trying to block Simon from Putting on a Show, but it just results in the both of them taking a nasty fall!”

Kayl: “I honestly can’t tell who got the worst of that landing!”

Knots: “I’d say it benefits the woman trying to outshine Polly because if this goes to a countout, she keeps the title either way!”

Jennifer Cassidy leans over the top rope, examining the heap that both competitors are left in before she begins counting them both out.

4!

Colleen slowly starts to stir at this point. (5) She grabs the ring skirt to try and pull herself up as Simon also begins to stir. (6) Colleen is starting to rise as Simon grabs at her leg, trying to use her to pull himself back to his feet. (7) Colleen manages to shake her leg free from Simon’s grasp, staggering in the process. (8) Simon now grabs at the ring skirt, using it to try and pull himself up. (9) Colleen manages to pull herself back into the ring, and Simon looks to be right behind her.

10!

Just as Simon is sliding back into the ring, Jennifer Cassidy turns and calls for the bell! There are audible boos from the fans at the match seemingly ending this way. Colleen pulls herself to her feet with help from the ropes, motioning for Simon to come at her. It’s only when "How Far I'll Go" by Auli'i Cravalho hits the speakers again that Colleen turns to Jennifer Cassidy in confusion, while Simon gets up to his knees before looking down at the mat in frustration.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, you winner, as a result of a countout, and STILL SCW Television Champion… Colleen MacDonald!”

Sharper: “Colleen just barely managing to beat both Simon and the ten count into the ring, and that’s going to allow her to leave Atlanta tonight with her TV Title reign still intact.”

Kayl: “Take nothing away from Simon, though… he gave Colleen a hell of a fight and almost managed to beat the count to keep this match going.”

Knots: “‘Almost’ doesn’t count for much these days, Devon, and maybe Simon should start realizing he’s just a step too slow to keep up anymore.”

Jennifer Cassidy hands Colleen the TV Title belt and tries to raise her hand, but Colleen rips her arm away and demands that she and Simon keep going, refusing to accept the win off a very close countout. Simon ultimately ends up rolling out to the floor, hands on his hips as he walks around for a moment, deep in thought over how he lost this match. Colleen ultimately accepts her title belt from Jennifer Cassidy, but still refuses to have her arm raised, clearly not happy with how this match ended at all.

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

“At A Taste for Things to Come, a Cinderella story came to an end.”

We see a shot of Cid Turner down in the ring as the sound of a bell ringing follows before then showing Syren holding the SCW World Championship.

“It took an amazing effort, but Cid Turner is no longer World Champion….but what’s next for the Hall of Famer?”

We see a shot of Cid Turner standing in the ring.

“Next week, on Breakdown, Cid Turner reveals his future!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen again.

We open up with a shot of the outside of the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.

Sharper: “Welcome to Breakdown here in Atlanta. The fallout from a Taste of Things to Come being felt already. Next week, we will hear from Cid Turner.”

Knots: “So is it over? Is it done?”

Kayl: “The World Title was his everything. It was what kept him going, but finally, it all caught up to him and against one of the other greatest in SCW history.”

Sharper: “And folks, time to greet out new Champion!”

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, the SCW World Championship sits around her waist.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

YOUR EIGHT TIME WORLD CHAMPION

She remains on the stage for a moment and then looks down briefly before thinking about something and then taking a few steps. Just then, white pyro shoots out of the stage and we see several pyro bursts go up as Syren glances back and then stops and smirks before then taking the SCW World Championship belt off of her waist and holds it over her head. The pyro display continues for a few moments before Syren brings the title down. After a brief pause, the pyro display continues again as Syren just smiles and looks up and nods before posing with the title over her head again.

Kayl: “Lexy may not be here, but there’s her spirit.”

Knots: “If it was her someone arranging this, this is the rest of the show. You can turn the channel!”

Sharper: “Syren surprised by it, but appreciating it. Started off as a rather standard entrance, but there is your record-setting Eight Time World Champion of Supreme Championship Wrestling!”

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched. She then takes a moment before getting up to her feet. She goes to the corner and asks for a microphone. Phillips hands her one and Syren takes it. The music fades out as she looks around. The crowd cheers as Syren listens for a moment and then starts to speak.

Syren: “The last time I was World Champion was 2019.”

Syren pauses and walks around the ring a bit.

Syren: “Feels like a lifetime ago.”

Syren pauses again.

Syren: “And I think back to when I came back on the first Breakdown of 2025. I got that tenth win before declaring my goal to be World Champion in 2025. It was delayed by a month. But it’s early 2026…and I am back on top of the wrestling mountain! I am SCW World Champion!”

The crowd cheers as Syren looks around.

Syren: “But I’m standing here alone. I should be standing here with Ravyn…and well, yes…Lexy. Although, I got a bit of a taste of what Lexy I think wanted to do. I don’t know how you did it, but…”

Syren sighs.

Syren: “To stand here, having beat Cid Turner in a match that frankly was among the hardest and most emotional for me in a long time. The pressure I had put on me…I know the pressure he had put on him. And Cid…I hope you’re at peace. But, I should have been celebrating with the people who stood with me and helped me get to this point, through support, through after show dinners and training sessions, to just being there. And Ravyn decided to speak truth to power and paid for it. And Lexy paid for it just by being too close to that. I guess I couldn’t have been added there given I was challenging Cid. But now…I wonder if I hadn’t won the title; what would tonight have brought?”

Syren stops, taking a moment.

Syren: “That’s for other people to answer, but Ravyn, Lexy, even Autumn deserve better. For different reasons, but more importantly for ripping the bandaid and making clear what people are thinking about what affects all of us in this ring. And all of you watching at home!”

Syren paces a bit.

Syren: “But I stand here now as World Champion and it’s always been said that who is the champion has some power around here. Time for me to wield that power in some way. And whoever is placed against me…I am not going to say you’ll need to kill me like Cid, but I will say that I will make sure that you’ll need to be having the best night of your life because this may be a record setting win, but this win deserves to be celebrated with the people who helped get me to this point and at some point or another, I will get that opportunity. And I will FIGHT for that opportunity!”

The crowd cheers.

Syren: “And it begins…tonight!”

“Groupie” by Cassie Steele plays again as Syren brings the microphone down.

Sharper: “A clear statement, a confident statement, and a telling statement.”

Knots: “Looks like she’s not learned a damn thing. Just shut up and wrestle!”

Sharper: “She knows there have been some injustices put forward-“

Knots: “Who cares? Delatosso made decisions. Deal with it. And the World Champion better figure that out or learn the hard way.”

Syren plays to the crowd a bit more before the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we open up to see Simon Lyman standing backstage, pacing a bit, shaking his head. Destiny Page walks over to him.

Page: “Simon…are you okay?”

Lyman: “No…I’m not. And not for the reason you think. I know that. I’ve accepted it. The Parkinson’s, the being forty-eight. But…I’m rusty. I’m…I need to get back into the groove. I need to make the most of this…I need to be in that ring more. I just need to…”

Lyman sighs and walks off as Page watches Lyman leave as the scene cuts to commercial.

Breakdown returns with CHBK and Dean Black talking backstage. Lucas Knight walks over to them.

Black: “Frank’s here today. Already got himself a location. And…”

CHBK: “I know. I also know he’s got a few things in mind.”

Lucas: “Well, he’s already causing some people o mutter. Playing favourites. Guilt by association.”

CHBK: “Throwing his weight around. I know….just…don’t worry about it. It’s my issue. I don’t want either of you getting dragged into it.”

Lucas: “I already have been a bit, mate.”

CHBK nods.

CHBK: “Well, then just be careful.”

Lucas: “I’m plenty careful.”

CHBK: “I know…Dean, you mind making sure Frank is comfy.”

Black: “Yeah…”

Black turns and heads off. CHBK watches him leave before Lucas turns to him.

Lucas: “So what’s in mind, mate? You’re making him a gopher.”

CHBK: “Just keeping more close to me to protect others.”

Lucas: “Like how you decided to cosplay as Lexy?”

CHBK smirks.

Lucas: “It’s a nice touch, but I figured when I saw the pyro guys packing more in, something was up.”

CHBK: “She deserved that.”

Lucas: “That she does. She also deserves people back with her. She shouldn’t have celebrated alone.”

CHBK: “I know.”

Lucas: “Then?”

CHBK pauses a moment.

CHBK: “Go to the truck. Tell them I’ve confirmed we’re using the tape. They’ll know.”

Lucas: “Alright…”

CHBK: “Please.”

Lucas nods and walks off. CHBK turns and heads back to into his office.

Scarlett Carsons vs. Crystal Zdunich

The entire arena fades to black as we are left in nothing but darkness. All of a sudden Crystal's voice can be heard all throughout the speaker systems.

"YOUR SMILE MAKES MY HEART EXPLODE... THANK YOU FOR WAKING ME UP!!!!"

As soon as that is said explosions can be heard going off as we are treated to some flame pyros.

“Smile Bomb” by 17thekid plays across the speakers and it is at that moment when the crimson red haired "Burning Rose" Crystal Zdunich walks from the curtains. She makes her way to the ring. Crystal is focused as she walks to the ring with a purpose. She however slaps the outstretched hands of fans along the way.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Burning Rose, Crystal Zdunich!”

She runs up the stairs and walks to the middle of the apron. She flicks her hair before she drops down into a split that gains the pop of the entire crowd. She slides into the ring and as soon as she is inside she kips up to her feet. She tosses her Shoto inspired hoodie towards her wife as she awaits the start of the match.

Sharper: “Zdunich about to be in action against a newcomer here in SCW. A new signing.”

Knots: “CHBK do it or did Frank Delatosso personally get involved?”

Sharper: “A great question. I understand that talent relations remains under CHBK’s purview.”

The arena goes dark without warning.

Not a fade.
A hard kill—sound, light, breath—all of it ripped out at once.

For a heartbeat, there is nothing.

Then—

A low church bell tolls through the darkness.

Clang.

A single white spotlight snaps on at the top of the ramp, cutting through thick blue fog that pours outward like breath in winter. The opening whisper of SANCTIFY ME crawls in beneath it—soft, intimate, wrong—Maria Brink’s voice sounding less like a singer and more like a confession caught on tape.

The tron doesn’t play video.

It plays stained glass.

Cracked, fractured imagery of saints and sinners bleeding into one another. Faces half-formed. Halos broken. Wings burned black at the edges. The glass pulses faintly in time with the song’s heartbeat.

As the first heavy note hits—

The fog explodes.

Scarlett Carsons steps forward through it, already in motion, already claimed by the light.

She doesn’t pose.
She doesn’t acknowledge the crowd.

Her head is bowed—not in humility, but in judgment.

A long black coat drapes from her shoulders like funeral cloth, the inside lined deep crimson. Bare hands. No theatrics. No wasted movement. Each step down the ramp is deliberate, measured, like she’s walking toward an altar she plans to burn down.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from the Shadows of Westminster, she is Scarlett Carsons!”

Blue strobes flash once—just enough to catch her eyes as she lifts her head.

They don’t scan the crowd.

They pass through it.

When the chorus hits—SANCTIFY ME—the lights snap blood-red, flooding the arena as if the room itself has been baptized in something unholy. The fog behind her swirls upward now, forming a silhouette that almost looks like wings before tearing itself apart.

Scarlett stops halfway down the ramp.

Slowly, she opens her coat.

No taunt.
No gesture.

Just revelation.

The coat falls to the steel with a dull, final thud, left behind like a discarded skin. She rolls her shoulders once, loosening them, eyes never leaving the ring.

The music drops back into that haunting refrain as she resumes her walk.

At ringside, she doesn’t slide in.

She climbs the steps.

Each step echoes.

She wipes her boots on the apron—not for respect, but ritual—then steps between the ropes and stands dead center, head tilted back as the final sanctify me drags out into distortion.

The lights snap back to black.

One last white spotlight finds her—

And then it dies.

When the arena lights return, Scarlett Carsons is already in her corner.

Waiting.

Like the sin you thought you buried.

Sharper: “Scarlett Carson arriving here in SCW.”

Knots: “This is just creepy, man. Can’t we just have someone come out, wrestle, and leave.”

Kayl: “Wrestling and SCW draws individuals of all walks of life.”

The bell sounds as Carsons steps up and Zdunich runs at her and nails her with a hard forearm shot and then another and another and another. She snapmares Carsons down and kicks her in the back. Zdunich goes for the early pin attempt.

1!

2!

Carsons kicks out and rolls over. She starts to get up. Zdunich walks over and grabs her and nails her with a hard right and then another before chopping her. The crowd woos. She then jaws at the crowd before going to whip Carsons across, but Carsons calmly spins through and sends Zdunich in and then drills her with a jumping spinning heel kick. Zdunich rolls over, holding her jaw.

Sharper: “And Carsons turns it around. Zdunich came right at her and Scarlett Carsons took it and fired back.”

Kayl: “And got that kick right under the jaw.”

Zdunich starts to get up and Carsons calmly walks over. She then nails her with a hard right before then wrenching her arm and hitting a thrust kick to the stomach. She then snapmares Zdunich down before running into the ropes and hitting a sliding lariat. She goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Zdunich kicks out. Zdunich looks up a bit stunned and turns and Carsons kicks her in the ribs. She goes for a snapmare again but Zdunich flips through to her feet. She hits a back kick and then turns and hits the Flashing Lights.

Sharper: “Right to the side of the head. Zdunich with a kick of her own.”

Knots: “That’s one way to stop her. A kick to the head will take anyone down.”

Zdunich then runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits the Smell the Roses. She goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Carsons kicks out. Zdunich turns and then grabs Carsons, nailing her with a couple of hard rights. Zdunich gets up as Carsons just looks off into the distance, the camera catching the look on her face. She gets up and Zdunich hits a straight kick to the ribs. She then runs into the ropes. Zdunich bounces off and Carsons suddenly hits a step up enziguri. Zdunich falls to a knee. Carsons jumps to the middle rope and then hits a springboard cutter on Zdunich. She then quickly goes for the arm and locks in a Fujiwara arm bar. Zdunich yells in pain as Carsons bridges up.

Sharper: “And Carsons going for the arm, trying to hyperextend that elbow!”

Kayl: “Just trying to break it off almost!”

Zdunich yells in pain as she frantically tries to get to the bottom rope, moving inch by inch before getting to the bottom rope and grabbing it.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Carsons lets go and rolls off. She then gets up as Zdunich shakes out her arm and starts to get up and Carsons grabs her and hits a snap suplex. She then hits a standing moonsault. She goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Zdunich kicks out. She turns and Carsons grabs her and Zdunich reaches up and rakes the eyes. Carsons turns and Zdunich clubs her in the back once and then again. She spins her around and hits a standing hurricanrana into a pin.

1!

2!

Carsons kicks out. Both get up and Zdunich jumps to the middle rope and dives back with a springboard leg lariat. Zdunich rolls through and moves to the corner. She climbs up to the top rope and Carsons then gets up and runs over and jumps up and hits a dropkick to the legs of Zdunich. Zdunich falls to the top turnbuckle. Carsons then dumps her down to the mat. She then grabs her and whips her across the ring. Carsons runs after and hits a running back elbow. Zdunich drops down to the seated position as Carsons moves across the ring before running across and hitting the Nightmare Make Believe. The crowd roars as Carsons drives herself into Zdunich repeatedly.

Sharper: “And driving herself into the corner. The Nightmare Make Believe!”

Knots: “And this is quickly turning into a nightmare for Zdunich!”

Carsons rolls out. Zdunich reaches up and grabs at the ropes, but Carsons turns and slides under the ropes. She grabs the leg of Zdunich, tying her legs up in the ropes, crossing them over and jumping up onto the apron into the Upside Down!

Sharper: “I’ve never seen that. I’ve seen around the ringpost. But that’s a figure four around the ropes!”

Knots: “And Zdunich yelling in pain. That five count has to feel like hell!”

Zdunich yells out as the official counts.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Carsons lets go and drops down to the floor. Zdunich pushes away from the ropes. She winces as Carsons slowly slides back in. Zdunich starts to get up and Carsons grabs her and spins her around and grabbing her by the head and bending her back before swinging her back with the G.P.T. The crowd ohs. Carsons for the pin.

Sharper: “Gun Powder Treason! Zdunich planted!”

Kayl: “Face first to the mat. That’s going to be it!”

1!

2!

3!

The bell sounds. Carsons rolls off and gets up.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Scarlett Carsons!”

Sharper: “Scarlett Carsons comes into Breakdown and takes the Burning Rose and clips it out of her Red Garden!”

Knots: “That’s a statement and a half!”

Carsons looks around and glances at the crowd as her music plays. Zdunich remains down in pain, holding her head and neck as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see La Pequena Luz entering one of the locker rooms. She stops just a moment before walking over as we see Amelia Nevado doing up her boots.

Luz: “Amelia…you…you don’t need to-“

Amelia: “Always be ready to compete. What I was taught. What I know I should do.”

Luz: “You’re agonizing yourself over things. You’re as talented as they come. And-“

Amelia: “Luz…”

Luz: “We have the tag title shot and-“

Amelia: “So that why when we collapse, I can visibly be the weak link, while you keep showing the world how you’re unstoppable and…”

Amelia stops herself.

Amelia: “I’m sorry…”

Luz: “I know you are. I know you didn’t mean it. And it’s a phase.”

Amelia: “And one I should be happy for you for…”

Luz: “I-“

Amelia: “You should give Meghan her rematch. She deserves that. You don’t need to tag with me. You don’t need pulling you down.”

Luz: “You wouldn’t. I-“

Amelia: “I’ve made my decision there.”

Amelia gets up and walks out of the room. Luz just sighs as she watches her wife leave and the scene fades to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Ryan LeCavalier standing next to Jessica Winters in the interview area.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Jessica Winters here with Ryan LeCavalier and Ryan, you had a rough night at A Taste of Things to Come, but not for the reason you expected. You lost to Shaun Cruze, but his guards got involved.”

LeCavalier: “I wonder what I could accomplish if I had people in my corner, given to him by our CEO, and apparently able to get involved at will. Well…he cast them off, but the damage was done. It seems to be a trend around here that people who like to think of themselves as champions tend to like to take easy ways out. Well, I even tried that for a moment, and I found out how weak some people are.”

LeCavalier shakes her head.

LeCavalier: “I was a Star of Tomorrow. I should be holding gold, and yet, here and I. And right now, I’m being asked about two bodyguards getting in my way. Do you realize how insulting that is? And this comes after Selena Frost had to get involved, just to remind me of my failing a year and a bit ago. A night where I proved I could hang with one of the best, but it still wasn’t enough and well…Now I’m getting asked about bodyguards…”

LeCavalier then looks up as David Striker walks into view.

Striker: “Don’t worry Ryan. I’ll make sure if they get involved, it’s the last thing they do. Sometimes you just need to take the bull by the horns and then hold on before you tame it. Cruze is a champion? Well…let’s see how he does against me.”

Striker turns and walks off as LeCavalier nods.

LeCavalier: “Yeah…”

LeCavalier walks off now as Winters turn to the camera.

Winters: “Back to the ring.”

We open up in the main arena as the camera pans across the crowd.

Phillips: “Fans, please welcome at this time, SCW’s Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Frank Delatosso!”

The crowd gives a very mixed reaction as we see Frank Delatosso walking down the rampway to the ring.

Knots: “Time for some proper decision-making around here. This is a business folks.”

Sharper: “Yeah, that’s been abundantly clear from you and others.”

Knots: “Welcome to 2026!”

Delatosso walks over to the ring and then steps up the steel steps and into the ring. He then walks over to Jason Phillips who hands him a microphone. Delatosso shakes his hand, saying something to him. Phillips nods and exits the ring. Delatosso looks around as he brings the microphone to his mouth.

Delatosso: “Thank you, Atlanta. It’s a thrilling feeling to be here and while I have been standing back for much of the last couple of years, to be ablet o come out and speak to a raucous crowd of SCW fans is always a delight.”

The crowd cheers to this obvious fan service.

Delatosso: “At this point, I feel it is necessary to make an important announcement. As SCW continues to set the standard for the highest ability in professional wrestling, talent at a level no other promotion can match, it also reflects that we in administration need to make decisions to also ensure wrestlers are saved from themselves, especially in a hyper competitive environment.”

Delatosso shakes his head.

Delatosso: “We all know that SCW fans want to see the best wrestlers in the world compete in the best wrestling matches, in bouts that test their strength, agility, and their talent and strategy. They don’t want to see people maim themselves with weapons as if this is a seedy youtube video that if you significant others or your parents walked by watching, you’d have to hide in shame.”

Delatosso looks around. The crowd boos.

Delatosso: “You shouldn’t be embarrassed by the actions of a few who would rather engage in the lowest form of brutality instead of the skill hey should have.”

Knots: “Yeah!”

Kayl: “Need some chapstick, Knots?”

Delatosso pauses briefly.

Delatosso: “At this point, I can announce that the Unmade King, Enigma has elected to leave SCW.”

The crowd boos.

Sharper: “So the rumours were true.”

Kayl: “Why? He was dominating. Why? Something is off here.”

Knots: “Maybe he realized he was flying too close to the sun!”

Delatosso: “And rather than enforcing his contract and forcing him to injure himself in hopes of defending his title, I have accepted this opportunity before us and I have declared the SCW Underground Championship vacant!”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction. Quickly a “Kim!” chant breaks out. Delatosso realizes that’s exactly what’s been chanted.

Delatosso: “She does not deserve to be spoken of here. Nor is she-“

Suddenly, the big screen comes to life, cutting Delatosso off.

Sharper: “What’s this?”

We open up with a shot of the Breakdown logo before showing a shot of the SCW Underground Championship up close. Shots of Kimberly Williams stapling Adam Allocco in the ass, before showing Colleen MacDonald punching YUSA, before showing shots of The Real Speed, Killjoy, Rachel Foxx, and other past champions, including ENIGMA.

“Next week on Breakdown – the SCW Underground Championship has been vacated-”

Delatosso: “What is going on?!”

Delatosso turns and talks to a crew member.

“- and an opportunity has arisen. A new should be crowned. And one will be on Breakdown.”

We then see a shot of CHBK.

CHBK: “We have the opportunity to really have a true test of what people are made of. And I was thinking…we’ve not had a good gauntlet in a while…and we need a bit more chaos around here.”

We cut to show Kimberly Williams holding up WASLEY, before showing David Striker diving over the top rope onto an opponent, and then showing shots of Chris Lawler, Dante Slayton, Xander Valentine, Dillusion, Justin Davis, Lucas Knight, Brittany Lohan, Harmony Fisher, Matt Auclair, and Konrad Raab fighting in hardcore action.

“The match starts…and anyone who wants a shot…step in line. Breakdown starts without a champion. It ends with at least one new Underground Champion!”

The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen before the words “Next week!” follow.

We cut back to see Frank Delatosso looking up at the screen and then turning to the crew member.

Sharper: “Delatosso is stunned!”

Knots: “The hell was that?”

Kayl: “I think we just found out CHBK’s response.”

Delatosso looks around and then turns and places the microphone down. He then backs up and turns and steps through the ropes. He then drops down to the floor. He heads to the back, clearly annoyed as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Frank Delatosso walking over to CHBK who is seemingly waiting for him outside of his office.

Delatosso: “A nice little trick there.”

CHBK: “No trick. Just knowing the audience.”

Delatosso: “Just contributing to something that isn’t necessary in 2026. It’s not 1998, or even 2005. We don’t need to have wrestlers bludgeoning themselves with cookie sheets for our entertainment. I want to see real skill.”

CHBK: “And skill comes in different forms. Frank, all I did was realize this was an opportunity. And next week, who knows what will happen? Well…outside of an Underground Champion being crowned. At least one.”

Delatosso: “Yeah…And I don’t have to guess who is getting rewarded here. A loose cannon that shouldn’t be on the roster.”

CHBK: “Different personalities only makes things more interesting, Frank. I’ve been around a lot of different locker rooms.”

Delatosso: “And if she just did her job and didn’t just play by her own rules, I’d give her the time of day. Maybe when she fails, we can put this to rest.”

Delatosso goes to walk off and then stops and turns around.

Delatosso: “Also, next time, just leave the Shot of Adrenaline. Wasting money on a trophy-“

CHBK: “Don’t worry. I paid for that out of my own pocket. Because I felt it was important.”

Delatosso scoffs as he then walks off as CHBK watches him leave. He then turns as we see Angelica Jones walking over. She glances at Delatosso and back to CHBK.

Jones: “Now I get why you said patience.”

CHBK: “She wants her shot. I’ll give her her own playground. But I can’t tell you it’s going to be fair.”

Jones: “Trust me…fair or not, she’s going to take advantage.”

CHBK: “Tell her good luck.”

Jones nods and walks off as CHBK then turns and heads into his office.

We open up at the announce position at ringside.

Knots: “This is just beyond it. Now even open favouritism!”

Sharper: “ENIGMA planned to give Kim the next shot. CHBK is just reflecting that while then giving an opportunity for anyone to get involved. The whole roster could get involved.”

Kayl: “But are we revisiting what Kim did for her Trios? That was chaos. That was ridiculousness.”

Sharper: “Sounds like something else if the title could change hands multiple times. And it looks like CHBK just lobbed a grenade into whatever Frank Delatosso had planned. Looks like while he may not have wanted the Underground Title around…hard to compete with a match where literally anything could happen!”

David Striker vs. Shaun Cruze

The opening chords of AFI's "I hope you suffer" starts to play as the video wall blazes to life with the violent and epic SCW history of David Striker, all of his epic highlights thus far in the company from his wars with Kimberly Williams to his fall from the top of the scaffold at RTG and then his insane return on Breakdown is shown as the man himself slowly walks out onto the entrance way.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Cameron, North Carolina, the Dark Horse, David Striker!”

I got two letters from you

Last words of the runaway

Your love was written so true

And now I can't speak your name

I faced destruction and you

Just killed me and walked away

I gave my heart to the cruel

Now it will not beat again

As the song enters its first chorus David Striker heads down to the ring. David Striker continues to head to the ring, stoically focusing on the task ahead of him. Once he gets there, he wipes his feet off on the ring apron and slips into the ring.

No one will ever know you

Deny the last one who cares

Intoxicate with the new

Pretend I'm no longer there

I opened my heart to you

You lied just to reach inside

Now with the faith you removed

Our hope for forgiveness dies

David thumps his chest twice before raising it to the sky before quickly throwing his ring coat off. He then walks around the ring, awaiting his opponent.

Sharper: “David Striker about to face a hell of a challenge, the former World Champion, Shaun Cruze.”

Kayl: “Cruze has come back. Looking good-“

Knots: “Looking good? He looks like the second coming. This is the Cruze we needed to ask to come back. Take a seat Owen. Shaun Cruze is back!”

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage. Behind him are the two bodyguards that have been assigned him. Cruze glances back before resetting and continuing his entrance.

Phillips: “His opponent, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, he is the Impact Player, Shaun Cruze!”

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match. His bodyguards settle at ringside.

Sharper: “Cruze victorious at A Taste of Things to Come. Defeated Ryan LeCavalier, but we see this new issue which is his bodyguards that have been provided him by our CEO to keep him safe.”

Kayl: “They were getting involved-“

Knots: “So they’re overzealous. They want to do their job well!”

The bell sounds as Cruze turns and Striker then turns and points to Shaun’s guards. Shaun tells him to focus on him. Striker glances back at them and the two circle before lunging at one another and locking up in the middle of the ring. Cruze turns into a side headlock. Striker reaches around and pulls him back into the ropes. Cruze hits the ropes and Striker fires him off. Cruze bounces off the other side and Striker shoulders him down. Cruze looks up and nods. Striker runs into the ropes, bounces off and Cruze jumps up only to hit a drop down. Striker hops over and bounces off the other side. Cruze hits a leapfrog. Striker ducks and bounces off the other side. Cruze goes for a hip toss, but Striker flips through to his feet. He then falls back and pushes Cruze back with his feet. Cruze staggers and spins around. Striker gets up and forearms Cruze in the jaw. Cruze falls back into the corner.

Sharper: “And Striker coming with a huge forearm. Trying to show off his speed here.”

Kayl: “Looks like he’s going to take it right to Cruze!”

Striker then steps up and forearms Cruze in the jaw again and then again. He then grabs him and goes to whip him across the ring. Cruze stops at the ropes. Striker runs after and Cruze hits a back elbow. Striker staggers back and turns around and Cruze catches him with a hip toss into the corner. Striker lands hard and rolls over. Kayl: “He’s still recovering from Striker blasting him in the back of the head!”

Cruze then nails him with a hard right and then a left and then a right and a left. He whips Striker across the ring. Cruze runs across and Striker gets a boot up. Cruze stumbles back. Sharper: “Twist of fate. Cruze drives Striker into the mat.”

Kayl: “And now he’s looking to go high risk.”

Knots: “Get up there. Take the risk. No one ever did it better!”

Sharper: “And those damn guards getting involved again. They just saved Cruze!”

Knots: “That would’ve been catastrophic! He would’ve landed on the floor!”

Sharper: “I understand Jon, but how is this fair?!”

Cruze looks at the guards as they start to get up. Striker looks at them and then looks around and shakes his head. He then waits before running at the ropes and diving over the top rope and over the ringpost and onto both guards. Cruze moves out of the way. The crowd erupts.(1)

Sharper: “Striker! My God! Over the top!”

Kayl: “Striker took the shot!”

Cruze turns and heads over to Striker and grabs him. He then turns and drags him over to the ring. (2) He drives him face first into the ring apron. He drives him into it again. Striker then rolls onto the apron. (3) Cruze slides in and Striker starts to get up on the apron as Cruze nails him with a hard right and then another. Cruze then grabs Striker, but as he does, we then see the two guards run over and grab Striker and pulls him off the apron. Cruze looks stunned before they turn and throw Striker over the announce table. The official calls for the bell. Cruze turns and snaps at the official before turning back.

Sharper: “Right next to me! David Striker thrown over the announce table!”

Knots: “Well, that’s what he gets! He assaulted them!”

Sharper: “And they just cost Cruze the match!”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via disqualification, David Striker!”

Cruze turns and shakes his head. The guards turn to the ring as Striker climbs up onto the table and dives onto both. The crowd roars. Striker gets up and grabs one and turns and runs him into the barricade before turning and grabbing the other and throwing them into the ringpost. The crowd roars as Cruze just shrugs and backs up, almost welcoming Striker back into the ring. Striker turns and looks at Cruze before turning to the guards. Striker pulls himself onto the apron and goes to enter into the ring before we see officials running down from the back, led by Dean Black. They reach the ring as Cruze turns and looks around and shakes his head. He then throws his arms up as Striker just looks up and scoffs.

Sharper: “Officials running down to the ring here. Striker taking out the guards. Cruze wanted to restart the match. But officials stopping this.”

Kayl: “Dean Black with them. So who sent them out?”

Alex Belmont and Wil Pierce come out from the back to join David Striker. They walk around the ring and go over to David as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Shaun Cruze, annoyed, talking to Frank Delatosso.

Cruze: “Frank, I appreciate the concern. But I don’t need that kind of help.”

Delatosso: “Don’t worry about it. I’ve already terminated their contract. They’re they type of people who will do whatever is needed. That’s clearly not what you’re about and I respect that. But Shaun, you’re an investment. You’re a star. You’re back and you’re money.”

Cruze: “And I don’t need special treatment. I came back to come back and compete.”

Delatosso: “Sometimes you need someone to look out for you. And I’ll happily help there. Just join me next week before the show. We can chat about a few things. Your goals. And make sure Shaun Cruze and SCW are on the same page. Okay? I was a bit overzealous. Let’s get back to the right page.”

Cruze sighs.

Cruze: “It’s not necessary-“

Delatosso: “I insist. And by the way, you don’t need to worry about the Clyde Sutters. Fate has turned elsewhere. And I’m going to make sure you’re facing people worthy of your name.”

Delatosso pats Cruze on the back and heads off as Cruze sighs, shaking his head as the scene cuts away.

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

Others are born to run

Some need to keep on takin'

Till you ain't got none”

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise”

“Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)”

The curtain drops to reveal Xander. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face, holding both SCW World Tag Team Championship belts. He doesn’t do his normal high-energy entrance, instead just starting to walk down to the ring.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine left Phoenix, Arizona not only as World Tag Team Champion with Selena Frost, but with both title belts.”

Knots: “Turned to a life of crime again!”

Kayl: “I’d love to know why. Selena was stunned by this. The Glimmer Sisters, their reign that lasted since Apocalypse, ended. First tag team loss for the Glimmers.”

Knots: “And it took two Hall of Famers!”

Suffocate me until I am blue

To preserve my bad worldview

Paranoid, All Eyes On Me

Rumours circle, vultures feed

Baby, I wasn't built to die

Lay down and be crucified

Nah, no matter how hard they try

To push me down

Still I rise

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Soul on Fire (Soul, Soul, Soul, Soul)

Xander walks up the steel steps and then steps into the ring. He then walks across the ring and over to the corner nearest Jason Phillips. He then takes one of the World Tag Team Championship belts and places it on the top rope, clipping it, before taking the other and placing it over his shoulder. He is handed a microphone and takes it before turning back to the middle of the ring. His music fades out.

Xander: “Selena…”

The crowd boos as Xander looks at the entrance.

Xander: “It looks like we now have to deal with a new problem.”

The crowd buzzes.

Xander: “But not the one you think we have, Selena.”

Xander looks at the entrance way.

Xander: “The fact is that if I was not there at A Taste of Things to Come, your collapse would have been legendary.”

The crowd ohs.

Xander: “This futile search for respect needs to end and I am not going to watch you destroy yourself because you cannot handle that things change! And so-“

Selena Frost then bursts out from the back, not even waiting for her music, and starts to head down to the ring, incensed. The crowd roars as Selena Frost makes her way down the rampway. Boos resound from all over the State Farm Arena. She then reaches the ring and pulls herself up onto the apron.

Sharper: “And Selena Frost has heard enough already. These two have been at each other’s throats for months!”

Knots: “Remember Xander! You’re one kick away!”

Selena pulls herself into the ring. She steps past him to go grab the title on the top rope, but Xander stops her, holding his hand out. Selena just stops and glares at him.

Xander: “You have a choice right now. Because I already know what you’re thinking. Just like last time we had such a situation. You’re going to run to Delatosso and demand that we each find a partner and then decide who will take these titles. There’s a problem there.”

Selena snaps at Xander.

Selena: “Exactly what I’m going to do!”

Xander: “We already know you don’t have any partners…and Deanna confirmed that again earlier. And Selena…my choice for my partner….is you!”

The crowd roars. Selena just steps up.

Kayl: “Why? Why the shift?!”

Xander: “So…we’re stuck with one another.”

Selena: “Screw you!”

Xander: “Your choice!”

Selena looks at Xander as Xander continues to just stand in front of the second title. Just then, the crowd roars as we see Gina Glimmer and Gia Glimmer having run down from the back. They slide into the ring and then Gia, we assume, nails Selena with a hard shot to the side, knocking her down. Gina, we also assume, goes after Xander and kicks him in the knee before grabbing him. Xander grabs at her and hoists her up and goes to just place her into the corner, but Gia, hops onto the back of Xander. She starts to pull back, seemingly locking in a rear naked choke. This allows Gina to drop down and low blow Xander. She lets her arm linger before Xander goes down.

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters! The Glimmers attacking the new World Tag Team Champions!”

Kayl: “They’ve not forgotten. And they are as ambitious as anyone!”

Selena slowly rolls over and moves to the ropes as Xander goes down to his knees. Gia and Gina then back up and this time, unlike A Taste of Things to Come, they run at Xander and hits the Asspocalypse. Xander drops to the mat. Gia and Gina then stand over him briefly before then backing up and look at Selena as she rolls over and gets up. Selena starts to get up as Gia and Gina watch her. Selena looks up and them and then to Xander.

Sharper: “Gia and Gina Glimmer taking out Xander Valentine.”

Knots: “Selena saved him at A Taste of Things to Come. Selena was down tonight!”

Sharper: “Selena looking at the other World Tag Team Championship…”

Selena then lunges at the Glimmers, who drop down and roll out of the ring in stereo. Selena then turns and looks at the World Tag Team Championship sit attached to the top rope. Selena then looks at Xander and his title, which is down on the mat. Selena then walks over and grabs Xander’s World Tag Team Championship from he mat. She then looks at the other attached to the ropes and turns to Gia and Gina before throwing the title she picked up over her shoulder. She glances at Xander and rolls out of the ring.

Sharper: “Selena picking up the title…but not the one Xander had set aside.”

Kayl: “Just a little slight. But…she didn’t take the other title.”

Sharper: “The Glimmers opening the door. Selena taking the title. Only one. Is she going to accept these terms? Is that what the Glimmers were hoping to find out? They only really attacked Xander….”

Gia and Gina talk to one another before continuing to head to the back. Selena watches them and then turns to Xander before shaking her head and walking around the ring, making her exit. Xander starts to pull himself up, wincing in pain. He then glances over at the mat where he felt his title fell before looking up at the one attached to the ropes. Selena just walks to the back as Xander gets up and grabs the title on the ropes. He staggers forward, wincing as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Clyde Sutter walking down one of the hallways and joining Fiona Logan and Melinda Braddock. They glance at Polly Playtime as she walks down the hallway and over to Frank Delatosso.

Polly: “What was that about?”

Delatosso: “Don’t worry about it. Doesn’t involve you, positively or negatively. But I do have a request.”

Polly: “What’s that?”

Delatosso: “You want to be more than just the TV Champion. CHBK’s latest stunt.”

Polly scoffs.

Polly: “Is this what you meant by giving me what I deserve.”

Delatosso: “This is extra. Get the title for me and you’ll get the title bonus along with more.”

Polly: “I can do that. Just come through.”

Delatosso: “Of course.”

Delatosso and Playtime shake hands as Polly nods and walks off. Delatosso smirks as we cut to the ring.

Glory Braddock vs. Kemal Yilmaz

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”

Wasteland by Pentagram, aka Mezarkabul, plays over the sound system as Kemal, wearing the black and red venom mask comes through the curtain, holding up his Turkey flag, wearing Turkey flame flag shorts with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his shorts, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans.

Phillips: “Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab, from Istanbul, Turkey, he is The Turkish Acid... Kemal Yilmaz!”

He jumps up to the ring and gets underneath the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he raises his fist in the air, looking at the crowd with Ginny applauding Kemal before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the stage, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Kemal Yilmaz has been asking for this match for a very long time, although he's made it clear he would've preferred a different type of match entirely.”

Kayl: “Yeah, an Ultimate Submission Match specifically.”

Knots: “Maybe he could've gotten his wish if he'd had a stronger showing in Shot of Adrenaline.”

Sharper: “Kemal only scoring two points throughout the whole tournament and that was mostly due to the injury withdrawal of Spencer Pryce. Still, Glory accepted his challenge for a match and CHBK made it official, and a strong showing tonight could prove to be a great way to bounce back.”

Knots: “Not exactly a great look if you're the new leader of the European Fiery Nation and you're not even competing on a pay-per-view to try and lead by example.”

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “And his opponent, hailing from London, England, she is The British Bombshell... Glory Braddock!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity

People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring.  Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “Just like Kemal, Glory also had nothing to do at A Taste of Things to Come and she wasn't too thrilled about that. She's made it clear she will not be left out of Retribution, and considering it's in her hometown of London, it's hard to blame her.”

Kayl: “You know how badly she's been wanting to fight her way back to another World Title opportunity ever since falling short back at Under Attack, but she hasn't been given very many opportunities to even compete since that show.”

Knots: “If you ask me, that's either because someone knows she's just not that interesting to watch, or it's further proof that CHBK doesn't know squat about the talent he's working with!”

Referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell and Glory and Kemal slowly begin to circle one another. As Kemal ends up moving near Hollinsworth, he stops and turns to say something to him, and from what little bit we can pick up, it sounds like he’s trying to convince the referee to change this to an Ultimate Submission Match. Hollinsworth just holds up his hands and claims he doesn’t have that kind of authority, and as Kemal’s body language indicates how annoyed he is by this, Glory decides she’s done waiting to get things going as she quickly grabs Kemal from behind in a rear waistlock and takes him over into a german suplex, sticking the bridge!

1!

Kemal kicks out just before Hollinsworth’s hand hits the mat for the two! Glory quickly gets back to her feet and goes to grab Kemal, but he grabs her leg, trying to trip her up for a takedown. Glory grabs the top rope to block this as Hollinsworth moves in to call for a rope break. Kemal ignores him and tries to use Glory to pull himself back to his feet, but Glory suddenly grabs his arm and steps over before twisting him into a la magistral cradle!

1!

2!

Kemal kicks out again! Glory gets back to her feet once more as Kemal rolls towards the ropes, trying to reset.

Sharper: “Glory’s been dominating the early-going so far, already scoring two quick pin attempts on Kemal.”

Knots: “He really should be focusing on enjoying what he has instead of still chasing an exact dream match I’m not sure he’s earned quite yet.”

Kemal gets back to his feet and lunges into a tie-up with Glory, the two of them jockeying for the advantage for a moment before Glory grabs Kemal’s arm and takes him down, trying to transition straight into a fujiwara armbar! Kemal manages to roll through and grabs Glory’s ankle, pulling himself back to his feet and moving to try a potential dragon screw. Glory attempts to counter this with an enzuigiri, but Kemal ducks it and she lands on the mat, where Kemal quickly applies an inverted STF!

Sharper: “Kemal managing to one-up Glory for a moment and he’s got the first submission of this match locked in!”

Kayl: “You know it would be a huge chip on his shoulder if he could actually make Glory tap out here tonight!”

Steve Hollinsworth asks Glory if she wants to submit, but Glory refuses as she starts pulling herself towards the ropes. She reaches out and brushes the bottom rope with her fingertips, and this causes Kemal to release the hold and grab her ankle to drag her back to the center of the ring. He tries to transition into a bow and arrow hold, but Glory rolls with him and gains enough momentum to slip free before he can get it applied! She immediately takes advantage of the position and grabs Kemal from behind in a seated dragon sleeper! Kemal’s arms flail about as he tries to find the ropes, refusing to submit even when Hollinsworth asks him. He slowly scoots himself closer to the ropes and manages to get his foot on the bottom one! Hollinsworth moves in to ask for the break, but Kemal suddenly pushes off the bottom rope, trying to roll out of the dragon sleeper and into position for him to try and apply something else, but Glory releases the hold and lets Kemal roll out of her grasp before diving onto his back and rolling him over into a crossface chickenwing!

Sharper: “Glory now, starting to settle in and take Kemal to submission school!”

Knots: “Submission school? Really, Adam? I didn’t think your witty comments would tank that much without me around to show you how it’s done!”

Kayl: “It doesn’t change the fact that Glory has been staying one step ahead of Kemal on the mat for the moment.”

Glory cranks back on the crossface chickenwing, trying to make Kemal submit. Hollinsworth checks with him again, but he still refuses and tries to drag himself and Glory towards the ropes. He reaches out, getting extremely close to the bottom rope, but Glory releases the hold and rolls back to her feet. Kemal uses the ropes to pull himself up, tilting his head in confusion at Glory as she just smiles and motions for him to come at her. He does, swinging with a european uppercut, but Glory dodges it and boots him in the gut before hooking him and taking him over in a fisherman suplex, sticking the bridge!

1!

Glory backflips through, breaking her own pin to put herself into position with Kemal’s legs to tie him up with Glorify Thy Name! Kemal screams in agony as Glory applies pressure to his tied-up legs, but he refuses to submit when Hollinsworth checks in.

Sharper: “Glory now, busting out a hold I don’t believe we’ve seen from her too often, really putting Kemal through the ringer now with these submission attempts!”

Kayl: “Glory is just putting on a clinic and Kemal’s struggling to keep up!”

Knots: “I’d say she’s getting a little overconfident with how much she’s just showing off now!”

Kemal sits up, trying to swing at Glory to force any sort of separation, but Glory just throws herself to the mat to both dodge and increase the pressure on Kemal’s tangled legs. He refuses to submit when Hollinsworth asks him again as he starts trying to rock back and forth, attempting to roll over and reverse the pressure. After a moment, he manages to do so! Glory screams at the sudden pain from the reversed hold, ignoring Hollinsworth when he asks if she’d like to submit now as she reaches out and quickly grabs the bottom rope! Hollinsworth barely starts to count for the break before Glory and Kemal manage to untie their legs. They both make it back to their feet, but Glory is just a little quicker as she tries to grab Kemal for the Beautiful Insanity, but Kemal surprises her by taking her over into a bridging northern lights suplex!

1!

2!

Glory kicks out! As they both rise to their feet, Glory tries to catch Kemal with Gloria in Excelsis Deo, but Kemal falls back against the ropes and uses the momentum to throw her off! Glory lands on her feet and tries to fire off a superkick, but Kemal catches her foot before booting her in the gut and pulling her in for a double underhook suplex! He floats over, grabbing her legs and turns her into a boston crab, getting enough of an angle on it to plant his knee into her spine!

Sharper: “Reversing the pressure of that Glorify Thy Name submission seems to have woken Kemal up because he’s got Glory in big trouble!”

Knots: “Like I said, Glory was starting to show off like the egomaniac we all know she really is, and she got caught!”

Steve Hollinsworth checks in with Glory to see if she submits, but she refuses as she starts trying to crawl her way towards the ropes. After a moment, she reaches out and manages to grab the bottom rope! Hollinsworth calls for the break, but Kemal just rolls Glory onto her back and tries to yank her off the ropes, and while he manages to succeed, Glory takes advantage of the position and gets her legs around his head, trying to apply the Shekhinah Glory! Before she can get it fully locked in, however, Kemal manages to fall back and catapults Glory across the ring! Glory manages to roll through before closing the distance, trying to press the advantage, but just as she grabs Kemal, he manages to trip her to the mat and tries to apply The Turkish Acid Cross! Glory, however, manages to roll out of it before Kemal can get it fully locked in, and as they rise to their feet, Glory twists through into an arm wrench to reverse control before she trips Kemal to the mat and catches him with a mousetrap pin!

1!

2!

3!

Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell as Glory releases the pin and she and Kemal roll away from one another. "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne hits the speakers again as Hollinsworth raises Glory’s arm in victory while Kemal leans against the ropes, his body trembling in a way that makes it clear how frustrated he is.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… Glory Braddock!”

Sharper: “Glory managing to catch Kemal with a unique pin, showcasing the versatility of that classic British wrestling style of hers and maintaining the momentum she’s been slowly rebuilding for herself.”

Knots: “If Kemal’s got any argument coming out of this match, it might be the fact that Glory didn’t make him submit!”

Kayl: “She still got the win tonight, and whatever may be waiting for her at Retribution, you know she’s going to make sure she’s ready to shine in front of her hometown faithful.”

Glory rolls out of the ring as Kemal storms over to Hollinsworth, starting an argument that, from what we can hear, seems to stem from his refusal to accept this defeat because it was caused by a pinfall. Hollinsworth reiterates this was not a submission match of any kind so the pin was legal, and as Ginny climbs into the ring to try and calm Kemal down, he instead turns towards the ropes and demands that Glory return to the ring, screaming at her to face him in a match that has to end by submission. Glory, however, just shrugs at him before turning and heading up the ramp, celebrating her victory with a few high-fives exchanged with fans in the front row reaching out for one from her.

Dexter Grant is seen standing at the SCW interview area, joined by Destiny Page. Wendell stands behind Grant, watching Destiny, while trying to remain focused.

Page: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Destiny Page here and I’m with Dexter Grant, the former SCW Adrenaline Champion.”

Grant: “And apparently someone who some people don’t care for, but then again, that’s what happens when you stand up and say what people need to hear. While Deanna Frost is cashing in on her social media clout, people are talking about Polly Playtime and her attacks and how they’re going viral. Then there’s that touch with that charlatan, Jacson Mikaelson, and presumably his guitar used to take me out.”

Page: “Well, we have no proof there.”

Grant: “Well, that wasn’t my finest moment when I attacked Jackson after. But nonetheless, can’t blame me for taking the leap given his disdain for everything I stand for.”

Page: “I mean you did sandbag him in Fatal Fortunes. Had you-“

Grant: “He’s someone who represents the worst of this industry. The spotlight, the need for attention, the vapidness.”

Grant looks at Page.

Grant: “My apologies. I could be seen to be talking about your friends, Hollywood. But then again, you clearly deserve better. But the fact is that this is just getting tiresome. I just have no time for these clout chasers and-“

Page: “Would you call Polly Playtime that? You’ve focused more on Jackson than her.”

Grant: “I talked about her going viral.”

Page: “But what about her getting involved? Some have said she meant to hit you and hit Kim.”

Grant: “There’s nothing there. Stop trying to make it something.”

Page: “Uh…okay, sorry.”

Grant sighs. Wendell looks a bit uneasy at this point.

Grant: “Sorry…just…so close to making a leap forward in what I’m trying to do. Look…just move on. This interview is only going to be something for SCW’s precious social media. And we have the Underground chaos. Pure marketing BS. And CHBK even using that…forcing our CEO to have to accept it. Just…pathetic…Pathetic! Polly, Kim…they can kill each other there. Anyone else too. I’ll just be watching in disgust. As we all should!”

Page: “Thank you Dexter…back to ringside.”

Dexter smiles as Wendell looks relieved and the scene cuts away.

Asher Hayes vs. Oskar Theron

Ride The Lightning by Metallica plays over the sound system as Oskar walks through the curtain, holding up his Norwegian flag, wearing Norway flame lightning bolt flag trousers with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his trousers, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, using the lightning bolt signals.

Phillips: “From Oslo, Norway, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Oskar Theron!”

He walks to the ring before sliding under the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he goes on the turnbuckle to do his lightning bolt sign, with Ginny applauding Oskar before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end of the corner of looking at his opponent, waiting for the match to begin.

The opening riff to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a long leather jacket, his face full of focus. He bows down for a few moments before standing up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the ring.

“It's late enough to go driving
And see what's mine
Life's the study of dying
How to do it right"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, slinging the jacket off his shoulders, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

“You're a holy roller
If you bettin' to lose
If you're hanging around
I'm holding the noose"

He stands, once again, on the top rope. His expression remains focused as he looks toward the ceiling, before dropping down, removing his jacket and handing his belongings to the ref.

"Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Ah, ah, ah, ah
Come a little bit closer
And get untied
In a hearse rolling over
Just a track in the line
Fuck it..."

Asher then leans into the corner, waiting for the match to begin.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Chicago, Illinois, he is…Asher! Hayes!”

The ref calls for the bell, signaling the start of the match. The crowd buzzes before Theron charges out of his corner. Asher does the same at the last second and connects with a quick spear.

Sharper: “The young competitor in Oskar Theron leaving himself wide open. Asher showing his veteran sense of things.”

Kayl: “And he’s hooking the leg.”

2!

Theron kicks out.

Knots: “Asher probably needed to put a bit more into that if he wanted to end it so early.”

Asher sits up and gets to his feet. He pulls Theron up. Theron tries to connect with an uppercut, but Asher steps back before getting Theron with a big boot. Theron staggers and Asher charges and takes Theron do with a flying lariat. Asher then pulls Theron up and goes to whip him across the ring, but Theron manages to reverse it, sending Asher into and over the turnbuckle.

Asher lands feet first onto the apron. Theron meets him there with a forearm, stunning Asher, who hangs onto the top rope. Theron grabs Asher and pulls him close, but Asher hits him with a headbutt, before driving Theron throat first across the top rope. Theron stumbles backward as Asher gets back onto the apron. Theron regains his wits and charges, but Asher leaps onto the top rope and catches Theron with a tornado DDT.

Knots: “Where is Konrad when you need him?”

Sharper: “Asher is just two steps ahead of Theron.”

Asher goes for the cover.

1!

Theron kicks out. Asher gets to his feet and pulls Theron up but Theron connects with a series of punches to the abdomen. Asher doubles over as Theron manages to hook him around the waist, sending Asher to the mat with a German suplex, bridging for a pin.

1!

Asher kicks out. Theron stomps Asher in the middle of his back over and over, earning boos from the crowd. Theron then hits an elbow drop the middle of Asher’s back.

Kayl: “Theron getting a one count, but he’s back on the attack, targeting Asher’s back, which has been injured in the past. Give the kid credit where it’s due.”

Knots: “Well, I was going to but you stole my moment.”

Theron pulls Asher up and whips him into the corner as hard as he can. Asher hits then stumbles forward, before Theron hooks him, taking Asher down with a snap suplex. Asher rolls over onto his back as Theron gets to his feet and pulls himself up to the top rope. Theron then leaps off the top, connecting with a double stomp to the back. Theron rolls Asher over and goes for a cover.

1!

2!

Asher kicks out.

Sharper: “Asher is still in this thing. He did say Theron needed to hurt him, and the young member of the European Fiery Nation seems to be doing just that.”

Theron pulls Asher, hooking Asher once again, going for a suplex, but Asher rolls through, landing on his feet. Theron turns and Asher fires away with a knife edge chop to the throat. Theron grabs at his throat, but Asher hits a European uppercut, before grabbing Theron, hooking him into a hammerlock, before driving Theron to the mat with a single arm DDT. With Theron face down on the mat, Asher begins to land with knees to the head.

Kayl: “Asher is raining down!”

Asher grabs Theron, pulling into a seated position and hooking him before he begins to deliver elbows to the side of the head, and the crowd begins to count each strike.

Crowd: “1…2…3…4…”

Knots: “This crowd is filled with monsters. This is not for good Theron’s future.”

Asher shoves Theron forward before climbing to his feet, backing into the corner, stalking Theron. The crowd begins to cheer as Theron sits back onto his knees. Asher charges out of the corner, connecting with a running knee.

Sharper: “Asher hitting the Dust to Dust. And he hooks the leg.”

“Song for the Dead” hits as Asher sits up, smirking as he gets to his feet. The ref lifts his hand in the air, before Asher pulls away and climbs onto the ropes and jaws with the cheering crowd.

Phillips: “Here is your winner by pin fall…Asher! Hayes!”

The ref is shown checking on Theron as Asher rolls out of the ring and leans against the barricade for a few moments, celebrating with the crowd. He then pulls away and begins heading up the ramp. Asher stops and looks at the ring where Theron is slowly stirring before Asher is shown smiling wickedly as the cameras pull away.

Syren vs. Chris Lawler

Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering. The SCW World Championship is around her waist.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Phillips: “First, the challenger, representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, she is Syren!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched. Syren then steps up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and goes to hand it to Lexy before stopping and turning and handing it off to a crew member. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down. She hands off her title.

Sharper: “Syren, back on top of the mountain, and back immediately in action tonight. Stepping up and just getting back into the ring.”

Kayl: “Still no Lexy, no Ravyn, no Autumn. That seems to be still in limbo, even after Syren tried to get some answers.”

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “Her opponent, on his way to the ring, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.

Sharper: “Chris Lawler has had a great start to 2026 so far and to put it mildly, a win tonight would turn a lot of heads.”

Kayl: “As would a good showing-“

Knots: “Please. If you get it done, you take her out and you have everyone thinking about you!”

The bell sounds. Syren steps up as does Lawler. The two circle the ring briefly before lunging at one another. Syren drops down and under the arms of Lawler before sweeping around and into a side headlock. Lawler lifts Syren up and pulls her back and into the ropes and fires her off. She bounces off and Lawler goes for a back elbow. Syren ducks under the other side and then Lawler hits a hip toss. Lawler goes to grab Syren, but Syren pushes him off with her boots. Sharper: “Syren with the early advantage here. Back in the corner.”

Kayl: “And Syren has that same confidence Lawler has. She’s been back to her high level too.”

Syren kicks him in the ribs and nails him with a hard right before hitting a chop. The crowd woos. Lawler then grabs her and spins her into the corner and nails her in the ribs with a hard right before nailing her with a shot to the jaw. The bell sounds and Syren rolls off of Lawler. She moves to her knees and looks around before wincing and starting to get up. Her music plays as the crowd cheers.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Syren!”

Sharper: “First night as champion! First win as champion! And against a very hungry Chris Lawler!”

Knots: “Hungry or not. Sometimes you just can’t counter that level of skill!”

Kayl: “And I’ll say it again – she did it solo. She’s had Lexy and Ravyn in her corner as support. She’s not relied on them to intervene, but they’ve been there. She’s won the title. Won tonight. Solo and-“

Syren gets up and has her arm raised. She’s handed the SCW World Championship before suddenly the lights go out. The crowd roars before white lights shine from the stage. “Also sprach Zarathustra” by Strauss starts to play.

“A man…struck down in his prime….until he wasn’t!”

After the second triumphant burst of music, pyro blasts go off as we see a banner unfurl, revealing a giant picture of Gavin Taylor in the middle of the ring, from his match against Reno Dumont, his face bloodied but his fist defiantly in the air. Syren steps forward, turning to Demitra, confused. The music continues as we then see coming from underneath the stage, lights silhouetting the man, as they rise up. The crowd looks on as the man stops and then looks out and points to the sky and then to the ring as sparks come out from the stage. The lights come on to show Gavin Taylor posing while wearing an American flag jacket and an airbrushed SCW World Championship around its waist. Gavin Taylor has a headset microphone on and points to Syren. We notice his neck looks off, perhaps wearing a neck brace, while hiding it with a suit.

Gavin: “Not even Raging Reno could keep the spirit of Make America Gavin Again down. Syren! I beat you three weeks ago. And now it’s time to do it for real. Sappy Syren…Gavin Taylor is coming to stop the steal and finally become SCW World Champion of the United States of the World!”

The crowd roars as Syren just scoffs as Gavin Taylor poses, hands on his hips, as the camera pans out to show him standing under his massive photo of his bloodied face.

Knots: “He did beat Syren three weeks ago!”

Sharper: “And Gavin Taylor wasting no time claiming his shot! But will he get it?”

Gavin continues to stand proudly on the stage as the scene fades out…
