A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We roll into Cleveland for Breakdown on a night where chaos will reign!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Devon Kayl and Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Tonight, two matches - both title matches. That’s the main thrust for tonight. I’m Adam Sharper, here with Jonathan Knots and Devon Kayl. And Devon, big night.”

Kayl: “Before we get to that, Cid Turner is here and we wonder what he’s going to say about his fate in SCW. No longer World Champion. That’s now Syren.”

Knots: “Maybe we’ll see a changing of the guard here. Yeah, we also have two title matches. Xander Valentine and Selena Frost are going to have to team together against Hollywood, but then this BS. This crap with CHBK putting the Underground Title on the line in a falls count anywhere invitational gauntlet.”

Sharper: “We’ll get to the rules later-“

Knots: “This is a travesty. Get rid of the title. Don’t worry. A few people plan to help there. We can nip this in the bud. Kim can pretend to matter before going back to the disgrace that she is!”

Sharper: “We’ll get to that in a moment. But let’s go to the ring. World Tag Team Championship on the line!”

The bell sounds and we cut to Jason Phillips standing in the ring.

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight on Breakdown is scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit and is for the SCW World Tag Team Championship!”

The SCW World Tag Team Championship logo comes across the screen.

Hollywood vs. Selena Frost & Xander Valentine

SCW World Tag Team Championship

A rush of paparazzi rush down either side of the ramp as a red carpet is rolled out. The sounds of Michael Jackson’s “Hollywood Tonight” begins to play as Chris and Ryan Hollywood come out from the back, prompting a shamelessly stolen trope of flashes from the cameras as they stand atop the ramp.

Phillips: “First, the challengers, from Hollywood, they are the team of Chris and Ryan, they are Hollywood!”

They respond to pose instructions from the photographers as they move towards the ring. Once in the ring, they pose in the middle of the ring, back to back, as their music fades.

Sharper: “Hollywood getting their shots at the SCW World Tag Team Titles. Biggest match for them since Rise to Greatness and they were one of many teams that tried to take Selena and Xander out on the Breakdown before A Taste of Things to Come.”

Knots: “Step right up and see if you can survive. Or what will survive? This loose alliance between Selena and Xander that already is fraying, or Hollywood!”

A long church bell rings, once- twice- a third time as the crowd explodes. The lights go out as Xander’s voice echoes out over the sound system, increasing the intensity of the crowd’s roar.

“Never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee.”

The few opening keystrokes of “Soul on Fire” by the Last Internationale chimed. A lull before the storm as the crowd seems to calm for only a moment before Delila Paz’s blues dominate the audio.

“Some are born to kill

A singular light appears before the curtains, on the other side is the outline of a large man. On the screen, we’re shown Xander Valentine holding onto the bars of a prison cell. He starts to bend the bars before the scene blurs.

“But baby, I wasn't built to die

The curtain drops to reveal Xander, holding the SCW World Tag Team Championship. A quick salvo of pyros explodes in front of him before he steps through the smoke with an intense look on his face. He goes from one side of the stage to the next, yelling out to the crowd and throwing up his arms. He then stops at the top of the ramp and throws his arm up into the air. He starts down the ramp, Xander’s gaze affixed on the ring.

Phillips: “Their opopnents, first, fighting out of Fort Collins, Colorado, from Rochester, New York… one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, the Paragon of Violence, the Executioner…. XANDER F’ING VALENTINE!”

Xander leaps up onto the apron in a single bound. Xander climbs up over the top rope and marches straight to the far side of the ring. He throws his arms up again, getting a massive pop. He goes to the opposite side and repeats to garner the same response. He hops down from the rope, and jogs into place, waiting for the bell.

Sharper: “Xander Valentine tried to force this team last week. Making it clear that he was not going to allow Selena to force a match to split them.”

Knots: “Why is he so focused on this? Why does he want to team with her? I get it because of her talent, but they hate each other.”

Kayl: “Xander focused on how he saved Selena. Either way, Selena didn’t really return the favour last week when the Glimmers attacked and focused on Xander.”

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe with a smirk. The SCW World Tag Team Championship sits around her waist.

Phillips: “His partner, from Nome, Alaska, by way of Manhattan, New York, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, she is the Snow Queen, Selena Frost!”

Slowly, Selena shifts her head, her sapphire eyes locked towards the ring as she turns to her side and lifts her front hand gracefully, extending it towards the ring, palm upward. With a lift of her front foot, she suddenly slams it down into the ground, causing a crack like ice to form and sprint down the ramp and towards the ring!

Lowering her arm, the Blue-Eyed Devil walks down the ramp, her steps leaving footprints in the “snow” under her feet. Reaching the ring, Selena goes up the steps and onto the apron, as Xander turns to her and watches her. But this leads to Ryan and Chris running up behind Xander and hitting a double dropkick, causing Xander to go forward, knocking Selena off the apron. Xander turns as the bell sounds. Chris and Ryan get up and nail Xander with repeated right hands.

Sharper: “Hollywood taking advantage as Xander immediately was going to confront Selena Frost. Xander knocked into Selena!”

Kayl: “And Hollywood doesn’t care about any scandal here. They’ll take the cheap shot if it helps them and they may need some help in this one!”

Chris and Ryan continue to pound on Xander, nailing him repeatedly. The official, Aaron Demitra, tries to count to stop this.

Xander knees Ryan in the ribs. Ryan staggers back and Xander nails Chris with a hard right. Chris goes down. Selena slowly gets up on the floor as Xander walks over to Ryan and pulls him up and headbutts him, knocking him down. Chris then runs at Xander and Xander grabs him by the throat. Chris nails him with a kick to the ribs and then frantically tries to fight out, but Xander then lifts him up, but Ryan nails him in the back.

Sharper: “And Xander going for the chokeslam, but Ryan Hollywood with the save.”

Kayl: “Get one of them out of there!”

Knots: “Selena’s just watching from the floor!”

Kayl: “Hollywood just hoping they can smother Xander. Good luck!”

Xander staggers and Chris and Ryan run into the ropes in opposite directions and they hit a high-low takedown. The crowd ohs. Ryan goes for the pin.

Xander powers out. Ryan rolls over. Chris is then forced back to the Hollywood corner. Xander slowly rolls over and Ryan gets up and nails Xander with a hard right and then another. He runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Xander launches him in the air. Ryan kicks his feet and lands hard with a huge back drop. Ryan rolls over and turns and Xander clotheslines him down. He goes for the pin.

Chris dives in with a springboard splash. He rolls through and Selena climbs onto the apron, only for Chris to dropkick her off. Selena falls off and turns looking out to the crowd, annoyed. Chris gets up and points to Ryan, telling him to get up and then runs at Xander, but Xander catches him and lifts him up and just dumps him over the top rope to the floor.

Sharper: “Chris Hollywood taking advantage of these issues between Selena and Xander. Selena just during the fall getting up on the apron.”

Knots: “Probably had faith in Xander to kick out!”

Sharper: “Still! You never know. One good shot. And Selena would say just that! That’s how this long issue ramped up with Xander years ago!”

Xander turns around and Ryan then runs at Xander and hits a spear. The crowd ohs. Ryan goes for the pin.

Xander kicks out. He rolls over as Ryan then gets up and Chris pulls himself onto the apron. Ryan tells him to frantically get up and Xander fights up to his feet. Chris then grabs the top rope, Ryan tags him in and then they hit the Box Office Smash to the face of Xander. Xander goes down. Chris goes for the pin.

Xander kicks out. Chris rolls off and then runs at Selena who is getting back up, but this time, Chris goes for a third dropkick, only for Selena to hop down. Chris hits the mat and gets up and Selena slides in and then hits a spinning back kick to the ribs. Chris goes down as Demitra tells Selena to exit the ring.

Sharper: “Selena finally getting involved, but is this more out of the disrespect and frustration caused by Hollywood or to try and win this.”

Knots: “She’s not going to just throw a match. So get that out of your head.”

Kayl: “You’re right there. I cannot see her throwing a match. Her ego won’t let her do it!”

Selena backs up and exits as Chris then starts to get up and winces and sees Xander getting up and runs to go for the tag, but Xander boots him in the face. Chris hits the mat. Xander turns and runs into the ropes, but Selena tags herself in. Xander steps up and hits a running elbow drop on Chris. He turns and Selena goes for the pin.

Ryan breaks it up. Xander gets up and is told to exit. Ryan yells at him to do so and Xander does before Selena kicks Ryan in the ribs and then hits a shoot kick and then another and another. Ryan falls back and through the ropes. Selena then turns around and Chris hits a small package.

Selena kicks out just in time. The crowd ohs. Both get up and both lunge and forearm each other. Selena staggers back before Chris runs at Selena and Selena hits a spinning heel kick. Ryan gets up on the apron and Selena turns and nails him with a forearm.

Sharper: “Selena Frost now working over Hollywood! Down goes Ryan!”

Knots: “Maybe the best in SCW showing what she can do!”

Selena exits to the apron as Ryan falls to the mats. Selena moves to the corner and climbs up to the top rope. Xander Valentine watches her before we see him jump to the floor. Selena Frost steadies himself as Chris gets up, but Ryan hops onto the apron and then runs over and shove Selena off. Selena flies off, but right into Xander, who catches her.

Kayl: “Selena didn’t see Ryan Hollywood recover!”

Sharper: “Xander did and just caught Selena! Just saved her again!”

Selena looks at Xander as Xander just looks at her before throwing her up onto the apron. Ryan looks around as Chris then gets up in the ring and Selena springboards. She goes for the Defying Gravity, but Chris manages to duck. Selena lands and steps forward and Chris pushes her forward and then pulls her back for the pin.

Selena kicks out just in time. The crowd ohs. Chris looks on stunned as Ryan jumps up. Demitra confirms the two count and Selena rolls to the floor. She staggers over to the announce table. Ryan heads over to his corner as Xander starts to head around the ring before suddenly, we see Selena lunge for her SCW Tag Team Championship. She turns as Xander heads over and Ryan hops down only for Selena to nail him in the head. The crowd ohs and boos. Demitra, however, sees this and immediately calls for the bell.

Sharper: “We were saying? Selena just blasted Ryan Hollywood with the belt!”

Kayl: “Selena? What are you doing?”

Sharper: “Hollywood has just beaten the SCW World Tag Team Champions! But via disqualification, the title can’t change hands.”

Xander steps up to Selena.

Xander: “What the hell was that?”

Selena: “Exactly what it was! These jokes don’t deserve to face for this title. And I have to deal with this crap with you! Why am I wasting my time? Maybe getting injured because of these dopes!”

Chris: “Hey!”

Chris then runs at the ropes and dives through, but Xander catches him. The crowd roars as Selena turns and grabs her title and storms off. Xander then puts Chris down. Chris looks around as Xander starts to walk around the ring, starting to follow Selena. Chris turns and heads over to the other Tag Title belt and takes it. He then looks at it before Xander turns back around. Chris stops and turns and sheepishly extends the SCW World Tag Team Championship. Xander takes it from him and turns as Selena storms to the back. Chris then turns and goes over to Ryan.

Chris: “I held the SCW Tag Team Championship!”

Chris shakes his “brother” excitedly as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see the Retribution logo come up on the screen. We then see a shot of Meghan Strader before showing a shot of La Pequena Luz come up on the screen.

Sharper: “Folks, next time we’re on pay per view, we will bring you Retribution live from London, England. But folks, we can tell you right now, it’s confirmed, a rubber match for the US Championship. La Pequena Luz and Meghan Strader will face one more time. One on one. Winner take all. Luz won at Shattered Reality. Meghan won at Under Attack. Someone is going to walk out the US Champion with all of the bragging rights.”

Kayl: “And Meghan has wanted that opportunity since losing the title at Shattered Reality. She wasn’t pinned for the title.”

Sharper: “They both hope, however, Gavin Taylor stays out of it this time.”

Knots: “And speaking of Gavin Taylor…”

We open up in the ring to see what appears to be a framed item covered by a black sheet. We then see what appears to be Vex News anchors, Charlene Lauren and Joyce England.

Charlene: “Ladies and gentlemen!”

The crowd looks on.

Joyce: “Yes, I’m Joyce England.”

Charlene: “And I’m Charlene Lauren.”

Joyce: “And we have a truly special moment for all of you here tonight. As you know, for months, Gavin Taylor has had a simple mission.”

Charlene: “To Make America Gavin Again.”

Joyce: “It’s a mission we should all get behind. And one that has seen Gavin have to deal with enormous obstacles.”

Charlene: “Frankly obstacles no mortal man could handle.”

Joyce: “But he has. With his faith intact, his confidence strong, and even though he’s had to engage in enormous rehab and injury recovery after an assassin was brought out, allowed to return, only for the purposes of hurting him, he stood tall to be the hero we need in these dark times.”

Charlene: “And it is an honour that we can bestow upon him an important honour.”

Joyce: “So at this point…brought to you by Vex News….”

Charlene: “We would like to invite Gavin Taylor to join us for this presentation!”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction before the lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Secret Service of Jack and Karl Barker, his religious advisor Religious Wright, and his personal fixer, Mr. Black. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

The song continues...

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. At this point, we notice a stabilization collar on his neck, hidden by his suit blazer.

Turning around, he steps forward and shakes the hands of both Charlene and Joyce. Gavin looks around as the music fades out. His All-Star Security remains on the floor as Religious Wright stands next to Gavin. Mr. Back remains on the floor too.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor out here…”

Kayl: “Still has that neck brace.”

Knots: “Yeah! Because Reno Dumont was allowed to try and destroy him! Multiple times!”

Joyce: “Gavin…you have been an inspiration to us all. You say what we all want to say. You stand for what we all stand for. And you just embody greatness.”

Gavin smiles.

Charlene: “And while people have tried to take away what you rightfully deserve, no one can take this from you. No one!”

Joyce: “So Gavin…it is our honour and privilege….to give you this one of a kind…recognition.”

Charlene: “Fans…your REAL World Champion of the United States….Gavin Taylor!”

Gavin throws his arms up and wince a bit as Joyce pulls off the black cloth, revealing a framed photo of Gavin Taylor pinning Syren from Breakdown on January 22, with a replica of the SCW World Championship underneath. The crowd gives a very mixed reaction as Gavin nods. He then goes to walk over, but Wright stops him. Wright comes over and then quickly does the sign of the cross, before dropping to a knee in front of it, only to then get up and nod, seemingly blessing it. Gavin then touches the frame, as Joyce and Charlene pose with him. We then see a photographer at ringside taking photos, leading Gavin to give a subtle thumbs up while nodding.

Sharper: “Good lord…”

Knots: “He did beat Syren! Beat her right before A Taste of Things to Come!”

Kayl: “With Cid Turner’s help.”

Knots: “Still counts!”

After a few moments, Charlene and Joyce step back and applaud before handing Gavin both of their microphones. Of course, Gavin takes both, holding both up to his mouth.

Gavin: “Thank you. Thank you…this is a beautiful award. Really nice. Real wood. I like that. A true honour to be named the SCW World Champion of the United States. You know we’ve been fighting really hard. Trying to stop the steal. They just keep doing shady things. Really shady things. Shifty Syren….Aloof Alex….something there. Clearly protecting her. Clearly evil.”

Gavin looks around.

Gavin: “And finally, I have something that I have wanted. Something that represents the respect I have for doing the right thing. For standing for the right thing. To fight against those who try to hold back all things Gavin. And trust me, there are a lot. Raging Reno tried. He tried. But my neck, so strong. Amazing strength. Perfect score on the tests of neck strength. My doctors said they’ve never seen anything like it. And it’s only by that I’m still standing to keep this fight and to stop the steal. But that’s to real Gavin supports like you, Joyce…you Charlene. And the patriots out there that support me…”

Gavin pauses.

Gavin: “It’s why, the only that needs to be done…has to be done. No other way around it. Syren is not the World Champion. Stole it. Stole it from me. I have it right there. Black and white-“

Kayl: “The photo’s in colour!”

Gavin: “…right there…beating Syren. Just as I did at Rise to Greatness. Always was better than her. Do the right thing. Hand of the fake title, so I can do what the world needs right now. It’s needs me to Make America Gavin Again…and as World Champion. We can avoid the issues. I will destroy you. It’s what I do. Done it at least twice and-“

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

“Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits the PA system as we see Syren walking out from the back.

She begins walking down to the ring, microphone in her hand, and SCW World Championship around her waist. Gavin turns and points as Karl and Jack Barker move into position and joined by Mr. Black. Religious Wright stands in front of Gavin.

Sharper: “The world champion…the real world champion has had enough!”

Syren: “Are you done yet? This drivel coming out of your mouth.”

Gavin: “Nope…it’s the truth.”

Syren: “Drivel-“

Gavin: “Truth. All truth. Best truth. The greatest truth.”

Syren shakes her head.

Syren: “After your stunt last week, part of me wondered if I was going to be goaded into something not worth my time, but it appears you’re not someone who gives up easily.”

Gavin: “Never given up. Never happened. Only succeed. You’re the quitter. You. Yep. You.”

Syren: “Well Gavin, you see, despite the fact that I see that you’re not quite one hundred percent, there’s a feeling around here that things are changing. Some good. Some bad. And last week I said I wasn’t going to just stand for injustices around here and right now, you stand here claiming you’ve earned the World Title, I’m not going to stand for it.”

Syren pauses.

Syren: “But I do recognize you did beat me three weeks ago.”

The crowd boos.

Syren: “You did.”

Gavin nods and points to himself. Wright points to him too, as do Cheryl and Joyce.

Syren: “And you’ve had more than one big win over me. But things are a bit different. Because while a lot of people may be looking to see if I’m trip up, now that I’m World Champion again, the reality is that that match you won…that proved to me something else. It proved that people still see me as a threat. But it also reminded me what I can be capable of and I proved it the next time I came to this ring, alone, against Cid Turner and won the World Championship!”

The crowd roars.

Syren: “So Gavin…I’ll put my title on the line, but only if you put that on the line. I can hang it up in my house as a reminder that you helped Syren return to form!”

Gavin looks around.

Gavin: “Please…this is a personal award. A one of a kind. Not like the eight World Titles you have.”

Syren: “Then take your shot with Aloof Alex, but I don’t know after Raging Reno, as you called him, dropped you on your head…maybe-“

Gavin: “I don’t trust that Alex to do anything right. Nothing right, but I am not going to risk the glory, the hope of a world, just because of your ego. I think it’s time for you to leave as a pretender, when your World Champion of the United States is here to stand to guide his people.”

Wright then rolls to the floor as Karl and Jack Barker up to Syren. Syren nails Karl with a shot and then Jack before Religious Wright tackles Syren down. Syren rolls over and gets on top of him, before we see Karl and Jack Barker run over and tackle Syren down onto the rampway. They both get up and start to stomp away on the World Champion. Gavin smiles watching, as Karl and Jack stomp away on Syren. Wright gets up and joins them.

Sharper: “They are attacking the World Champion and Syren alone. No Lexy. No Ravyn.”

Knots: “And a career of people who may not care for her.”

Kayl: “No matter what they think of Gavin and this ridiculous approach.”

Sharper: “Gavin just watching as his secret service goes to work on the champion and…”

The crowd roars as we then see a masked woman run down from the back.

Sharper: “What in the world?”

Kayl: “Who the hell is that?”

The masked woman runs over and pulls Wright off before then nailing Karl in the side. She nails him over and over and over again. Syren rolls over as Jack turns and grabs the woman, but the woman starts to yell. She keeps yelling before we see Wright grab her by the mask. Syren rolls over. We see the mask start to come off, revealing part of what looks to be Lexy Chapel’s face.

Knots: “Is that Lexy?”

Sharper: “I can hear her. Sounds like Lexy!”

Lexy: “Hey! Hey! HEY! No! I need that.”

Just then, the crowd roars as we see Ravyn Taylor running out from the back and she runs over and forearms Karl in the jaw. Karl falls back and Syren grabs him and hip tosses him onto the floor. Ravyn then hits a hard right on Jack before Ravyn grabs Wright and pulls him off only for Syren to superkick him. Religious Wright goes down as Jack crawls over to Karl and looks around before Syren runs over and nails him with a hard right.

Gavin: “Get them out! Get them out! They’re hear illegally! They’re not allowed to be here! Where’s security for them! Huh? Just another form of the steal! You need them to help you beat me! Huh!”

Syren looks up as she turns to Ravyn. Ravyn and Syren advance on the ring and then the masked Lexy Chapel recovers and runs after them. They run and slide into the ring. Gavin exits as Joyce and Charlene back up and huddle in the corner. Syren, Ravyn and Lexy walk around the ring. Lexy walks over to the ropes, pointing at Gavin.

Lexy: “You! Get out! YOU GET OUT! SYREN’s the World Champion!”

Ravyn turns to the framed photo and belt. Gavin turns.

Gavin: “Hey! That’s mine! That’s mine!”

Ravyn lifts it up and presents it to Syren. Syren takes it and smirks as the crowd roars. “Groupie” then starts to play as Gavin looks around. Karl and Jack get up as Gavin runs over and stands behind them. He points at the ring angrily.

Sharper: “Ravyn Taylor presenting Gavin’s ‘award’ to Syren!”

Knots: “That’s not hers!”

Kayl: “Is now!”

Sharper: “And Gavin Taylor in retreat!”

Syren continues to stand with the framed picture as Gavin turns and looks at Religious Wright as Mr. Black joins them before the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Selena Frost watching on a monitor.

Selena: “You serious? Him!”

Selena turns.

Selena: “F[bleep]ing joke.”

Selena shoves the monitor back, causing it to jostle, falling to the floor, be avoiding damage. Selena storms off as we then see Chris Hollywood walking out of a locker room.

Chris: “Destiny! I TOUCHED THE TITLE!”

Ryan steps out, ice pack on his head.

Ryan: “Well I think may have a black eye.”

Destiny: “But, Chris…Selena cheated you. She cheated you out of the title.”

Chris: “But I touched it!”

Ryan: “And we survived…”

Destiny: “Look, Chris, Ryan…I love you two. But you deserved better.”

Chris: “Okay…Xander didn’t kill me! He could’ve. Right on live TV and he didn’t! And I TOUCHED THE WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! We gotta get photos out there. All of them. Send them to everyone.”

Destiny: “Chris!”

Chris heads off excitedly as Ryan just follows his “brother.” Destiny Page sighs and follows them as we cut to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Syren talking to Ravyn Taylor backstage.

Syren: “Well it’s nice for you to drop in. The suspension up?”

Before Ravyn can answer, Lexy Chapel, still masked comes up.

Lexy: “Oh! Syren! I’m a huge fan!”

Syren: “Uh….Lexy…”

Lexy: “Shhh…there’s no Lexy. There’s just, uh…El Lucha Grandita! Yeah!”

Ravyn: “We’re here for the Underground Invitational.”

Syren: “You’re going to compete?”

Lexy: “Oh yeah! Totally! TOTALLY!”

Ravyn: “And maybe watch someone’s back for tonight.”

Syren: “Appreciated…just couldn’t you have told me.”

Lexy: “Satan wanted it to be real. Just in case they doubted us…I mean….YOU’RE SO TOTALLY AWESOME SYREN!”

Ravyn: “Come on. We better get ‘in position.’”

Lexy: “Come on! I have a whiteboard set up in a room!”

Lexy grabs Syren dragging her off as we cut away.

“This is How A Heart Breaks” by Rob Thomas plays throughout the arena. The crowd roars as SCW Chief Operating Officer, Alex “CHBK” Desoubrais walks out from the back. He looks out at the crowd before starting to make his way to the ring.

Knots: “Oh God. Going to make it about him!”

Sharper: “Someone has to formally start this chaotic match, Jon.”

Knots: “We don’t even know who is it in?”

CHBK walks down the rampway to the ring. He climbs up to the apron and then steps into the ring. He walks over to the corner and is handed a microphone by Jason Phillips. We cut to the suites in the Rocket Arena, showing SCW CEO Frank Delatosso watching. Shaun Cruze can be seen in the box, getting some food. He looks up, seeing him on the TV in the suite, before looking down.

Knots: “If looks could kill.”

Sharper: “And there you see Shaun Cruze. Cruze invited to watch the show with the CEO. And we understand they’ve been talking about Cruze’s plans in SCW and maybe more.”

Kayl: “Delatosso has been a huge fan of Shaun’s since he returned.”

CHBK turns to the middle of the ring and stops, looking around as his music fades out.

CHBK: “Well Cleveland….”

The crowd roars.

CHBK: “Fans at home?”

The crowd looks on.

CHBK: “It’s almost time. And to make clear how this is going to work. For the remainder of Breakdown, the SCW Underground Championship is in play!”

The crowd cheers. CHBK walks around the ring.

CHBK: “In just a moment, the bell is going to sound. SCW officials are all over the arena, ready to count. You won’t know who is going to gun for the title. Who may sit it out. Who may jump in later? Who knows? But at start, it’s a free for all…First fall determines the next Underground Championship.”

The crowd roars.

Kayl: “Wait? First fall…across everything?”

Sharper: “Sounds like it.”

CHBK: “So…we start with chaos, but that’s not all. As soon as that first fall is counted, the champion is hunted. And they are targeted. ONLY falls on the champion count. And we continue until Breakdown goes off the air.”

The crowd roars as we cut to show Delatosso in the suite shaking his head.

CHBK: “So are we ready?”

The crowd roars. CHBK looks around.

Knots: “No!”

Kayl: “This is going to be chaos.”

CHBK: “Then-“

Suddenly, generic rock music starts to play as we see FRED run out from the back. He then starts to pump his fists as he runs down to the ring. CHBK looks around, confused. FRED runs down to the ring and slides into the ring. He then gets up and jumps up and down before holding up one finger and going to the camera, playing to it, before turning back. He then motions to the back and tells somehow, whoever, to bring it. CHBK turns and walks over to FRED. The music fades out.

Knots: “What is this idiot doing out here?”

CHBK: “Uh…FRED?”

FRED: “Uh-huh.”

CHBK: “What are you doing?”

FRED: “I drew number one!”

CHBK looks around. The crowd buzzes.

CHBK: “Number one?”

FRED: “How are you COO and you don’t know its Taking Hold of the Flame!”

The crowd roars as CHBK looks around, nodding.

CHBK: “Well then…good luck.”

FRED nods and pumps his fist.

CHBK: “And let’s start this match!”

CHBK backs up and points to the timekeeper. The bell sound as the crowd roars.

Underground Championship Falls Count Anywhere Invitational

Sharper: “And here we go! The chaos begins!”

Knots: “Where the hell do we start?”

We then cut backstage as we see Kimberly Williams running out of her locker room and runs over to a random crew member and rolls them up. There’s a delay as we see Steve Hollinsworth run into the scene and counts.

The crew member frantically tries to get up and rolls over and looks around. Kim then gets up and runs over and then rolls up Hollinsworth with a school boy, spinning around him. Hollinsworth looks at Kim.

Hollinsworth: “I can’t count myself down!”

Kim: “Come on! One! Two!”

We then see Oskar Theron running over and attacking Kim. Kim rolls over as Hollinsworth starts to get up. Kim turns and Oskar stomps her in the face and then grabs her and lifts her up and runs her into the nearby wall. Kim falls over. We cut to another part of the backstage area as we see Asher Hayes and Glory Braddock trading blows in catering!

Sharper: “Kim trying to roll-up everyone. Asher Hayes and Glory Braddock trading blows in catering.”

Knots: “Oh God! And it’s just starting!”

Kim starts to get up and Oskar nails her with another stomp before walking off. Kim gets up as Oskar then throws a lighting stand at her, but Kim ducks. Kim then gets up and runs over and tackles Oskar down. We then see Chris Lawler running over and grabbing Kim. He then takes her over with a snap back suplex. Kim rolls through. Lawler then gets up as Oskar rolls over and Lawler grabs him and nails him with a hard right and then a left before nailing him again. He then runs him into the locker room. We hear some women yelling before we see Lawler grab the door and slam it into the side of Oskar. Oskar goes down. Lawler then turns and walks over to Kim who nails him in the ribs with a shot.

Hayes and Braddock continue to trade blows before Braddock ducks and grabs the arm of Hayes and then drops down, trying to roll through into a La Magistral cradle. Dean Black, chief road agent, is there to make the count.

Hayes kicks out. Both get up and Glory goes for a clothesline. Hayes ducks and then turns around and kicks her in the ribs. He grabs her arm and wrenches through before we see Clyde Sutter running and clotheslining Hayes down. Hayes falls back and over one of the tables. Glory looks up as Sutter turns to her. Just then, we see Simon Lyman running in and nailing Sutter with a hard right.

Kayl: “Lyman! Lyman just drilled Sutter!”

Sharper: “Sutter helping Glory. I don’t know if that was just to send a message. Hayes over head over heels. And Lyman attacking Sutter.”

Kayl: “While Kimberly Williams is dealing with Chris Lawler!”

Kim nails Lawler again and again before running him over and into a steel structure holding piping, causing the pipes to fall to the floor, clanging against the ground. Lawler staggers off and we see Oskar Theron running over and jumping up, hitting a reverse bulldog, taking Lawler down. He goes for the pin.

Lawler pushes him off. He turns and Oskar then grabs him and nails him with a couple of hard rights. Theron gets up and then runs over to Kim and nails her in the back Kim falls to a knee and Theron clubs her a couple of times. He then grabs the head of Kim and runs over to the wall, running up it and going for a shiranui, but Kim throws him off. Theron spins around and Kim hits the Morrigan’s Wrath, knocking him down.

Sutter staggers back as Lyman kicks him in the ribs and nails him with a hard right. He runs him over and drives him face first into the serving ledge. Sutter staggers back. Glory then runs over and grabs Lyman and runs him face first into the sneeze guard. Lyman stumbles back and Glory then grabs him and tries to take him down with a Fujiwara armbar. The crowd roars as Braddock pulls back on the arm. We then see Hayes running over and stomping Braddock in the face. Braddock rolls over. Lyman then grabs one of the plastic serving trays. He turns back as Braddock gets up and nails her in the head with it. She goes down. Hayes turns as Sutter then runs at him and tackles him up and over, knocking down a series of plates and cutlery.

Sharper: “Sutter and Hayes-“

Knots: “Hope no one planned to have a meal. Good thing I’ve stopped going to catering for years! Those pork riblets are terrible!”

Kayl: “And Kim! Morrigan’s Wrath!”

Sharper: “Putting down Oskar Theron!”

We cut to show FRED still in the ring before turning and going over to Phillips.

FRED: “When is the next guy coming out? What’s the issue?”

Just then, a third video comes up as we see Religious Wright attacking Chase Upshaw in one of the men’s locker rooms.

Wright: “Submit to make America Gavin Again! The LAWRD demands it!”

Wright nails Upshaw again and runs him into the shower stall. Upshaw reaches up and starts to press on the shower control, causing water to spray into the face of Wright. Wright staggers out as Upshaw then nails him with a hard right and then another before we see him drag Wright out into the main locker room. We see Ryan and Chris Hollywood looking on. We then see Upshaw grab Wright and go for a suplex, but instead, Wright counters and vertical suplexes Upshaw on the ground. He goes for the pin.

Upshaw kicks out as we see Hiro Tanaka counting the fall.

Kim goes for the pin on Oskar.

Lawler breaks it up. Lawler then stomps Kim in the face once and then again and again before grabbing her and then lifting her up onto her shoulder and running forward and spearing her into the wall. Kim falls back and down to the ground. Lawler goes for the pin.

Kim kicks out. We then see David Striker running over and nailing Lawler with a running dropkick. The crowd ohs.

Hayes and Sutter both start to get up and Hayes grabs a plate and throws it at Sutter. Sutter ducks, the plate smashing behind him in the wall. Sutter returns the favour, but Hayes ducks. They keep throwing plates at one another before suddenly, we see Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan taking a couple of cafeteria chairs and throwing them at Hayes. Hayes covers up and goes down as Sutter smirks. We then see Braddock grabbing Lyman and driving him into one of the tables. Braddock then clubs him in the back and climbs up onto the table. Lyman climbs up too and Braddock grabs him, but Lyman lifts her up and throws her off. Lyman dropping down to the table as Braddock rolls over, holding her back on the floor.

Sharper: “Wright only gets two. Hiro counting there. As Striker comes into the field.”

Knots: “And just took Lawler’s head off!”

Kayl: “Shinigami Foundation and Lawler continuing their issue. Theron there too.”

Sharper: “And Lyman getting Braddock down. Glory that is. Melinda Braddock seemingly helping Sutter and look out!”

Upshaw rolls over as Wright gets up and turns to Hollywood.

Wright: “You know…Gavin would love to see some better movies! Good Gavin movies! Movies the talk about the glory of Gavin and-“

Upshaw rolls Wright up.

Upshaw kicks out and Wright turns and rolls over and climbs through the door into the hallway. Upshaw gets up and goes to follow, but is nailed by a chair that is thrown into his face. Upshaw goes down as we see Mr. Black helping Wright up.

Striker then goes for the pin on Lawler.

Lawler kicks out. Striker looks down at him and stomps him in the face as we see Theron nailing him with a hard right. Striker and Theron trade blows before Theron swings, but Striker ducks and spins through with a shotei. Theron stumbles back. Just then we see Kimberly Williams rolling up someone walking down the hallway into a school boy!

The crowd roars as Hollinsworth points to Kim.

Sutter drags Hayes up. Hayes winces before Sutter presses him over his head.

Hayes: “Whoa! We can talk about it! We can talk about it-“

Sutter then throws Hayes over the counter and back into the seating area. Hayes rolls over. Lyman then sees Braddock getting up and Lyman hits a running clothesline, knocking her down. Braddock rolls over in pain as Lyman rolls over. He looks around and remains down. Sutter climbs over the counter and down to the floor. He goes for the pin.

Hayes kicks out. Sutter looks up and grabs Hayes before Dean Black, touches his earpiece.

Sharper: “Kim just rolled up a random backstage worker!”

Knots: “Who’s part of this!”

Sharper: “Kim took the chaos literally and it counted! And Kim! Kim is the Underground Champion!”

Kayl: “And the target is now on her back. She sets the record now as the person who has held the title the most, but now can she survive to keep it!”

Sharper: “And now we only focus on her!”

We see Kim get up and throw her arms up. We then cut to show Dean Black standing in the catering area.

Black: “It’s over! Kim’s won the first fall. Now you have to pin her!”

Sutter then pushes away from Hayes and turns and storms off. Fiona and Melinda follow as we see Simon fight up to his feet and follow. We see Kimberly Williams starting to run down one of the hallways, laughing. We then cut back to the ring to see FRED shrugging, confused.

Sharper: “And we’re just getting started! We’ll be back!”

The scene cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

We cut to a locater shot of the Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The crowd cheers seeing their home arena.

Sharper: “Welcome to Cleveland. We are here and the chaos of the Underground Championship invitational has started. Kimberly Williams has already set the record for most Underground Championship reigns. She’s the champion and…”

Just then, we pan to the front of the building as “Cleveland Rocks” by The Presidents of the United States of America starts to play. Kimberly Williams bursts through the doors as we see David Striker, Oskar Theron, Chris Lawler, Clyde Sutter, Fiona Logan, Melinda Braddock, Religious Wright, Simon Lyman, Glory Braddock, all running after her. The Cleveland crowd roars, as we briefly cut to show the crowd, as the current Underground field recreates the opening to the Drew Carey Show. The music continues to play as Kimberly stops and turns.

We see Kim duck a clothesline from Oskar Theron before Striker shoves Lawler to the side and Kim kicks Religious Wright in the ribs. Clyde Sutter tosses Simon Lyman off to the side as Glory then runs over to Kim and rolls through and rolls her up. Steve Hollinsworth runs over to count.

But Clyde pushes her off. Glory rolls through. Kim rolls over as Sutter goes to stomp her.

Kim dodges and scrambles up before Striker takes her over with an exploder suplex. He goes for the pin.

Sutter throws Striker off as Hollinsworth remains on his knees before Sutter steps over and we see Wright crawl over to cover Kim as Lawler and Glory fight. Lyman scrambles up.

Kim kicks out and rolls over, but Lyman pushes her over and covers her.

Kim kicks out. She then gets up and scrambles forward as Wright nails Lyman in the back and Sutter turns as we see Hayes running over and jumping up and jumping onto his back, riding him down. He rolls through and gets up as Fiona and Melinda go to help Sutter. Kim gets up and then turns as we see three women running over and starting to attack her. Kim covers up as the three women, all scantily clad, attack her, clubbing away at her and forcing her down to the ground.

Sharper: “Kim managing to get out of that series of pin attempts in front of the building, but now…That’s the Order of the Chest!”

Knots: “Hot damn. Someone I can get behind. Come on. Take her out!”

Sharper: “These three women are assaulting Kimberly Williams.”

Kim drops down to the ground as we see Misty, Mandy, and Mirabelle then go onto Kim and cover her.

Lawler and Glory Braddock throw each other into the pile and go down to the asphalt. Misty, Mandy, and Mirabelle roll through. Kim rolls over, looking around as Sutter starts to get up. Fiona and Melinda grab Asher and run him over and throw him into the entrance of the building. Asher goes down as we then see Striker running over and grabbing Kim. He clubs her a few times before Kim fights back. Glory and Lawler head over and Lawler nails Striker with a hard right as Glory nails Kim. Glory and Lawler get a few shots in before we see Lyman running over and clotheslining Glory and Kim down. Lyman goes for the pin on Kim.

Mandy, Mirabelle, and Misty pull Lyman off. They then run him over and throw him into a concrete post ribs first. He rolls over. Fiona and Melinda then run over and nail Misty, while Mandy heads over to fight Fiona. We then see Wright run over and tackle Mirabelle down.

Sharper: “And the chaos continues. A fight has broken out in front of the Rocket Arena!”

Knots: “Yeah! This is going to endear us to the locals!”

Kayl: “Lyman hard into the concrete post there. Oh boy.”

Wright gets up as Kim and Glory stir as Lawler then turns and grabs Kim and scoop slams her on the concrete. Kim grimaces as Striker grabs Glory and runs over and hip tosses her onto the hood of a parked car. The crowd ohs. We then see Oskar Theron try to steal the pin on Kim!

Kim kicks out. Oskar looks down and grabs Kim and nails her with a hard right and then another before stepping forward as Lawler hits a Blitz Kick to the face. Oskar goes down hard. Lawler then turns around and Sutter drills Lawler with a running clothesline from hell.

Knots: “Jesus Christ!”

Sharper: “Sutter with a violent Clothesline from Hell. Lawler down!”

Asher Hayes then runs over and nails Sutter from behind. He nails her again as the Vision and the Order of the Chest fight in front of the building. We then see Kim finally get up to her feet as Hayes hits a DDT on Sutter on the ground. Hayes starts to get up and Kim nails him with a superkick. Hayes goes down and Kim staggers forward. She then smirks, seemingly enjoying this, before then stepping forward.

Knots: “Oh great! She’s back up! Where the hell is Polly Playtime? Come on! You made a deal!”

Sharper: “Polly Playtime is here.”

Kayl: “I’ve been glancing at the suite where Delatosso is and he’s been on the phone the last little bit. He does not look happy.”

We briefly cut to the suite where Delatosso looks annoyed as Cruze sits, clearly looking uncomfortable. We then cut back outside as Kim then nails Striker with a hard right and then nails Wright as he gets up. Theron gets up and Kim nails him before she staggers forward and we hear the sound of a motorcycle riding. Kim looks around and turns around as the camera moves out of the way as Meghan Strader rides up on her motorcycle and lifts her right arm, revealing a weapon in her hand. Kim turns and Kim drives a baton down into the chest of Kim. Kim hits the ground and rolls through. Meghan rolls to a stop.

Kayl: “Meghan Strader just rolling in and taking down Kim!”

Knots: “You like the Underground now! Meghan may have caved in Kim’s chest!”

Sharper: “Meghan nailing Kim with a baton and now getting off.”

Meghan walks over to Kim and covers her.

Meghan gets up as the crowd roars.

Phillips: “Meghan Strader is the new SCW Underground Champion!”

Meghan gets up and then looks at the field as we see Glory run over and nail her with a hard right and then club her, but Meghan then swings and nails her in the side with the baton. She turns and nails Striker win the ribs before swinging and nailing Lawler. She then turns and runs towards the building.

Sharper: “Meghan Strader now with the target on her back.”

Knots: “She can’t get to her hog. So getting into the building.”

Sharper: “Exactly as it looks and we’ll be back!”

The scene cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see a panning shot inside the Rocket Arena. We cut to see Frank Delatosso still on his phone before hanging up.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown, live in Cleveland. SCW’s CEO, Frank Delatosso, seemingly upset.”

Knots: “Where the hell is Polly?”

Sharper: “Meanwhile, we have some stars in the crowd.”

The crowd roars as we cut to show Aaron Rupp in the crowd. Joining him is his wife and twin children. Rupp stands up and waves.

Sharper: “Former US and Tag Team Champion, Aaron Rupp enjoying the show with his family.”

Kayl: “Maybe he’ll take a shot if he can at adding the Underground Title!”

Sharper: “Maybe…and well, we have a birthday boy in the house!”

We then cut to show Andrew Samuel Pugh as the Cleveland crowd cheers again. He pumps his fists as the crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Andrew Samuel Pugh joining us here also in the crowd.”

Knots: “Keep your eyes on them! Anyone can enter this thing!”

We then cut backstage as we see Meghan Strader jogging through the backstage area. She takes a few strides and turns around before we see Religious Wright running over to her and she drills him with a clothesline. Wright rolls over before Meghan turns as Glory Braddock nails her with a hard right. She kicks her in the ribs before nailing her again and Meghan knees her in the ribs and throws her into a footlocker. Meghan turns as Simon nails her with a hard right. Meghan staggers back before Hayes grabs Simon and pulls him back before nailing Meghan with a hard right. Oskar Theron runs over and nails Hayes and Hayes falls over as Meghan stumbles back. We then see the camera turn as the Order of the Chest, Mandy, Mirabella and Misty are now fighting with Hollywood who have gotten involved in the fray. We also see Sutter and Lawler trading blows before Striker runs over and nails Meghan with a hard right and then another. Meghan staggers forward as Striker clubs her in the back. She then stumbles out as the camera turns to show Meghan coming out on the ground, next to the stage. The crowd erupts. Striker then runs at her and clotheslines her down. Meghan falls over as Striker looks around and climbs up onto a table next to the crowd, covered in cords. He then dives off with the Viva la BAM!

Sharper: “Striker off the table! Meghan in trouble!”

Knots: “This is just a complete war! A complete fight!”

Kayl: “A war of attrition and cover!”

Striker covers Meghan. Hollinsworth runs over.

Meghan kicks out. We cut to the ring where we see FRED, laying on the top rope, snoozing, still waiting for “entrant two.”

Knots: “Hey! FRED! Wait up! The idiot!”

Sharper: “He’s been waiting for entrant two. Hasn’t figured it its not Taking Hold of the Flame!”

Meghan rolls over as Striker then grabs her and nails her with a hard right and then another before Meghan elbows him in the ribs once and then again before then hitting the Don’t F**k with Me! Striker drops to his side. Meghan then gets up as we see Sutter run over and nails her with a hard right. He nails her again before we then see Lawler walk over with a steel chair and slam it into the back of Sutter. Sutter falls forward, but remains on his feet. Lawler then swings and nails him again, the impact echoing throughout the arena. In the ring, FRED is alerted, a result of the chair shots. He then jumps down, ready to fight. Lawler then turns and nails Meghan in the shoulder. She drops down. Lawler turns as Hayes then runs at Lawler and nails him with a trash can in the ribs. Lawler drops the chair and Hayes slams the garbage can into the back of Lawler. Lawler drops and Hayes drops the garbage contents over Lawler. Just then, we turn as we see Lyman hoisting Fiona Logan up and hitting a piledriver through the table Striker jumped off of. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “And Lyman with the piledriver. Now they’re just trying to take anyone out!”

Knots: “And is this the field?”

Kayl: “I don’t know. People may be choosing their spots. Kim is not out there. So is she hurt? Did Meghan take her out?”

Meghan then turns as Hayes lifts the can up and Meghan kicks him in the ribs. She then grabs him and runs him into the side of the rampway. Meghan pushes him up and rolls onto the rampway as we then see Lyman slowly get up as Glory heads over after Hayes and Meghan. We then see Oskar Theron running over and nailing Glory in the back. Glory turns as Oskar nails her with a couple of shots before turning back to grab the chair. Meghan gets up and grabs Hayes and then Hayes nails her in the ribs with a shot and then another before Meghan knees him and hits a snap suplex on the rampway. Hayes rolls over. Oskar Theron goes for a steel chair shot on Glory, but Glory jumps up and dropkicks the chair back into his face. She winces on the floor. We then see Meghan grab Hayes and drags him over to the ring as Mandy, Mirabella, and Misty follow, with Glory climbing onto the stage. Striker stumbles over too. We then see Meghan slide into the ring as FRED then runs over and grabs Meghan and turns and throws her over the top rope to the floor. He jumps up as FRED spins around and grabs Hayes and does the same to him. He throws his arm up.

Sharper: “FRED is throwing people over the top!”

Knots: “Hasn’t he realized this isn’t…what am I saying?”

Kayl: “Is it going to be three for three?”

FRED turns as Mandy, Misty and Mirabella slide into the ring. FRED grabs Misty and turns to throw her out, but Mandy grabs FRED, pulling him off. She twists him around and the Order of the Chest hits the Chest Avalanche on FRED. The crowd ohs. We then see Glory and Striker run over to Meghan. Meghan throws right hands, fighting for her life, nailing both and rolls into the ring. She then gets up and Mandy nails her with a shot as does Mirabella. Meghan keeps fighting, throwing right hands at both before Misty runs at Meghan and she kicks her in the ribs and hits a Two for the Show. The crowd ohs. She then gets up before Glory enters and hits a running variation of the Prankster’s Paradise. She turns and hooks the leg.

Hayes pulls her off. Glory turns and Misty and Mandy go after them. Striker then pulls out another steel chair. He then rolls into the ring as Meghan starts to get up and Striker drives the chair into the ribs of Meghan. Meghan staggers back and then Striker throws the chair at her head. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Striker with the chair. Two shots to Meghan and she’s down to a knee.”

Kayl: “And now Striker clearing the ring. Hoping to get his opportunity to finally win the Underground Title!”

He then grabs the chair and turns and throws it at Mandy. Mandy falls to the mat. Striker grabs the chair again and throws it at the face of Misty. Misty goes down. Striker then grabs the chair and throws it at Hayes. Hayes falls through the ropes to the floor. We then cut to show Lawler and Lyman trading blows before back in the ring, the crowd boos loudly as we see Polly Playtime slide into the ring, kendo stick in hand. Meghan starts to get up and Playtime nails Striker in the back of the head with the kendo stick. He falls forward into Meghan, who grabs him and hits the Blackened. Glory gets up and Playtime nails her with the kendo stick. She drops and then Polly Playtime turns and nails Meghan in the back of the head as she gets back up. Meghan drops to the mat. Playtime then throws the kendo stick down, pulling Meghan up and driving her into the chair with the Polly Pop.

Knots: “Thank God! Playtime is over!”

Sharper: “Polly Pop on the chair. And she waited. She got the shot on Striker, on Braddock, on Strader.”

Kayl: “And she’s had a lot of issues with all three. And no….”

Playtime rolls her over and covers her.

The crowd boos. Delatosso smiles as he claps his hands in joy. He motions for her to come to the suite as Polly looks around.

Phillips: “Polly Playtime is the new SCW Underground Champion!”

Sharper: “Playtime has won the title and Delatosso is thrilled.”

Knots: “This is why? They had to come out here to get the title! Playtime playing 7D chess again!”

Playtime rolls to the floor. We see Lawler and Lyman coming down to the ring, joined by Sutter, Melinda Braddock, Fiona Logan, Hollywood, Oskar Theron, Religious Wright and more. Playtime grabs the SCW Underground Championship at ringside and takes it. She then runs with it and runs over to the barricade. She climbs up and over and runs through the crowd. Lyman and Lawler stop each other at the barricade as Hollywood run over and attack them too. We then follows Playtime as she turns and jogs through the crowd. The crowd boos loudly.

Sharper: “Playtime running through the crowd and this isn’t just to get distance.”

Kayl: “This is because Frank Delatosso wants the title. Are you going to attack the CEO? Are you going to risk your job?”

Sharper: “Playtime now going through the crowd. These fans in Cleveland showing Polly exactly what they think about this.”

Playtime now starts to go up the stairs and starts to climb up, getting closer and closer to the suite. She then gets up to the level with the suite and goes to turn towards it, but Polly stops. She then looks forward as Deanna Frost stands in her wait.

Playtime: “Get the hell out of my way?”

Deanna: “No…You’re not going to do this. Come on-“

Playtime steps forward and goes to use the Underground Title as a weapon, but Deanna ducks and Polly spins through and Deanna nails her with a hard right and then another and another and another.

Sharper: “Frost! Deanna Frost stepping up and stopping this ploy by Playtime!”

Knots: “Stay out of this!”

Sharper: “After Playtime attacked her, last week, at A Taste of Things to Come! Deanna stepping up and stopping this plan!”

She spins her around and nails her with a hard right. Polly staggers down the stairs, using the railing to help. Hollinsworth runs over, and Deanna grabs the Underground Title, throwing it to him. He takes it and Deanna nails Polly again and again. Polly staggers down the stairs and back to the floor. The crowd cheers as Deanna nails her with a hard right. We see many of the wrestlers fighting at ringside as Deanna turns grabs Polly and runs her into the back row of seats. Polly staggers back and Deanna then spins around and runs her over and throws her over the barricade. Polly rolls through and starts to get up. Deanna climbs up and over the barricade and then steps forward and grabs Polly, but Polly elbows her in the jaw and then nails her with a hard right. Polly then grabs Deanna and turns and throws her into the barricade.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost stopped by Playtime and Playtime sends her into the barricade.”

Knots: “Polly! Look out! Look out!”

Kayl: “Hey Polly! Someone you just said hi to wants to say hi back!”

Polly then smirks and turns around as Glory Braddock dives off the stage with a Blaze of Glory onto the standing Polly. Polly goes down. Braddock falls on top of her.

The crowd erupts. Deanna smirks.

Sharper: “Glory Braddock! My God!”

Phillips: “Glory Braddock is the NEW SCW Underground Champion!”

Glory Braddock turns and gets up and now, this time, she grabs the SCW Underground Championship from Steve Hollinsworth. She then turns and starts to head to the back. We then see Chris Lawler, Simon Lyman, Asher Hayes, and Meghan Strader leading the charge as Polly Playtime is down. We cut to the suite where Cruze is smirking while Delatosso stands, watching, incensed.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as the SCW Underground Championship logo appears at the bottom corner. We see Glory Braddock fighting off Asher Hayes before we see Lawler running in and nailing Glory with a trash can in the side. Braddock goes down. Lawler drives the trash can into her again before then going for the pin.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Underground Championship on the line. Free for all.”

Kayl: “Glory is the champ-“

Knots: “And here comes karma!”

Lawler hooks the leg.

Sutter pulls him off and then we see Hayes dive onto Braddock.

Religious Wright pulls Hayes off before then Hayes turns as Wright stomps him in the ribs. Hayes rolls over and Wright grabs Glory and pulls her up and nails her with a couple of hard rights before suddenly Glory jumps up with a leg scissors and takes him down before then rolling into a Shekinah Glory. Wright yells out as Glory only keeps it on for a moment before letting go and kicking him off. She scrambles to her feet as Meghan Strader runs over and nails her with a hard right and then another before running her forward and into a storage crate. The crate rolls a bit as Glory ends up on top of it. She rolls off and Meghan heads over and grabs her, but Glory kicks the crate, causing it to go into Meghan’s knee. Meghan staggers back before we see Oskar Theron running over towards Glory. Striker is starting to follow as we see Polly Playtime wincing, and holding her head in the distance.

Sharper: “Glory Braddock catching Meghan Strader with that crate.”

Kayl: “This is just why this is so dangerous. Braddock has the target on her back but you’re just fighting everywhere!”

Glory then gets up as Oskar nails her in the back once and then again before then grabbing her and running her over and into one of the room. We then see CHBK standing inside as Glory falls onto the desk of the SCW COO. The crowd roars as Theron clubs her in the back once and then again before driving her into the desk. He rolls her onto the desk and covers her. Hollinsworth pushes in.

Glory kicks out. Oskar then turns and we see Striker nailing him with a hard right and then another before drilling him with a Shotei. He then runs over and clubs Glory in the chest over and over and goes for the pin on CHBK’s desk.

Glory kicks out again. Striker steps back and right into Sutter who scoops him up and then drops him with a spinebuster on the ground. The crowd ohs.

Kayl: “They’re fighting in and around CHBK’s office!”

Knots: “What the idiot deserves for unleashing this!”

Sharper: “While Striker…oh…God! My God! That thud!”

Kayl: “Sutter just decided to test the structural integrity of the floor here.”

Sutter turns back as Braddock grabs some papers on the desk and throws them at Sutter. Sutter turns and we see Lawler nail him with a hard right and then another before running him out of the office and into the wall. Lawler stomps him a couple of times as we see Lyman coming over, joined by Religious Wright. Glory then stands up and hits a flip dive off the desk onto Lyman and Wright. She rolls forward and into the hallway. She then gets up and Meghan nails her with a hard right.

Sharper: “Strader back in there.”

Knots: “Where did Polly go?”

Sharper: “We saw her back there before.”

Kayl: “Maybe she’s trying another tactic. She’s been much more strategic as of late.”

Meghan knees Glory again and then hip tosses her on the concrete. Glory rolls over and winces and starts to get up and Meghan clubs her in the back. She then pulls her in and sets up for the My Friend of Misery. But just as she was going to go for it, Hayes comes up from behind with a box fan and nails Meghan in the back of the head. Meghan goes down as Glory rolls over. Hayes then stomps Meghan in the chest over and over as Glory then starts to get up and Hayes turns and grabs at Glory, but Glory takes him down with a crossface. Hayes yells in pain and immediately starts to tap, more to get out of the hold as Braddock holds it on. Glory lets go as Hayes rolls over, holding his arm.

Sharper: “and Hayes helping Braddock. But then went for Glory himself, and Glory quickly with the submission, but it doesn’t matter.”

Kayl: “She can make everyone tap one and it won’t end this until we go off the air!”

Glory gets up and we see Chase Upshaw run at her and she takes him down with a drop toe hold before moving into an STF. Upshaw yells in pain and taps out as Glory lets go and then gets up. She then steps forward and looks around before turning and grabbing a mop bucket and lifts it up and throws it, dumping water on the ground. Sutter and Lawler slip from this as Lyman gets up and runs over and nails Glory with a hard right. She falls to a knee. Lyman turns and grabs a whiteboard with general information on it and lifts it up and turns and slams it onto Glory.

Knots: “Hey! How am I supposed to know when the hell I can leave?!”

Sharper: “That’s the bell time notice and all of the general backstage rules for the arena.”

Kayl: “Someone just lit up backstage as a result. I’m sure of it!”

Lyman then steps up onto one of the storage crates and jumps up and drives an elbow into the whiteboard onto Glory. Lyman throws the whiteboard off and covers Glory Braddock.

Glory kicks out. We then spin around to show members of the Order of the Chest and The Vision fighting joined by Upshaw. Striker is slowly getting up as Lawler and Sutter recover. Meghan Strader and Wright are dealing with one another as we see Glory turns and Lyman grabs her and then pulls her up before suddenly we see an office chair thrown at them. Glory and Lyman go down. We then see Hayes running over and hitting a running boot on Glory. Glory falls back. Hayes goes for the pin.

Knots: “The hell did that chair come from?!”

Sharper: “Hayes! Hayes grabbing it! And throwing it!”

Kayl: “Was that CHBK’s chair?!”

Hayes rolls off and pumps his fists. He winces as he gets up.

Phillips: “Asher Hayes is the NEW SCW Underground Champion!”

Hayes then looks around as Lyman reaches up and Lawler and Sutter start to come after him joined by Meghan Strader. Hayes turns and runs as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Hayes winning the Underground Championship, but now he’s the hunted!”

Kayl: “Run Asher run!”

Sharper: “And he’s off. The mass behind him. And we’ll be back!”

The camera runs with Hayes, and official Steven Hollinsworth, as Breakdown cuts away.

Backstage, we see Cid Turner taking a deep breath as he walks out of his locker room. He takes a few steps as he starts to walk towards a camera.

Sharper: “And next…Cid Turner is coming out?”

Knots: “Now?!”

Sharper: “Guess so. He’s never really cared for the timing of the show. He’s returned with seconds left on Breakdown. So who knows? But what has Cid decided?!”

Cid walks past the cameras he continues to walk down the hallway. Breakdown cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we open up outside of one of the men’s bathrooms. We see Meghan Strader pounding on the door, joined by Simon Lyman, Glory Braddock, Chris Lawler, and we then see Sutter, Fiona Logan, Melinda Braddock, the Order of the Chest all outside of the door. Religious Wright can also be seen in the mass of people, and David Striker walks over, joined by Oskar Theron who are throwing right hands at one another.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. You see a mass of people all outside of one of the common bathrooms backstage. Asher Hayes has locked himself inside!”

Knots: “Asher doing something smart?”

Sharper: “Guess so! The whole group that has been going after him stuck on the outside.”

Kayl: “So are we just at a standstill?”

Sharper: “Looks like. Then again, I don’t see Kim. I don’t see Polly. We know they’re involved.”

Kayl: “Someone get a crowbar!”

Knots: “Great. We’re going to destroy the building, aren’t we? Now CHBK is costing SCW millions in repairs!”

The lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few moments of silence, “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd roars as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp.

Sharper: “And there is Cid Turner!”

Knots: “Guess this now is good timing with Asher locking himself in the bathroom like a drunk college student!”

Sharper: “The question meanwhile is what is Cid going to do? So much of his return has been focused around the World Title.”

Kayl: “Was A Taste of Things to Come the last time we see him compete or is this the last time we’ll see him in the ring? In an SCW ring?”

Sharper: “Both possibilities. We know of his back issues. His limited schedule. All done to allow him the best chance to succeed as champion. To have this Cinderella run.”

Cid continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring while continually muttering to himself. Cid reaches the ring and climbs up the steps, slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while taking a deep breath. He pounds his chest and peers out into the sea of people.

Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring. He walks across the ring to a microphone waiting for him. Cid takes it and walks over to the middle of the ring and takes a moment, taking a deep breath. The music fades out as the crowd roars. Cid looks around as the cheers continue to come from the crowd. He nods, taking it in for a few moments before then turning and looking at the crowd, bringing the microphone to his mouth.

Cid: “When I challenged for the World Championship at Rise to Greatness, I made two vows. Two vows to SCW, to all its fans, to me.”

Cid pauses for a moment.

Cid: “The first one was pretty simple, if not grim. If you wanted to keep that title from me—whether I was challenging or defending—you’d have to kill me. That wasn’t something I said to make a catchphrase or to sell a t-shirt. It was just the ugly truth. Because for a long time, this—”

Cid looks around the ring, then to the crowd.

Cid: “This was the only thing that made sense to me. All of this was oxygen. SCW was proof that I still mattered, that I still had teeth. Having that title made it clear that I wasn’t just some guy who used to be dangerous once upon a time. This was my life. So, if you were gonna take the World Championship from me, you’d have to kill me.”

Cid smiles faintly.

Cid: “Syren didn’t kill me. I guess it shouldn’t be a surprise, she’s always been efficient—she just needed about twenty minutes and a perfectly placed and, quite frankly, insane DDT. Nothing more. And, you know, that’s the part that’s been messing with me. Syren beat me. Clean, right in the middle of this ring, without any controversy, excuses, or asterisk for her record-setting victory. And when the bell rang… I was still breathing.”

Cid lowers the mic and looks down at his feet. The crowd buzzes before he looks up and brings the mic back up.

Cid: “And I remember lying there, staring at the lights, ‘Groupie’ blaring out, Jason Phillips announcing a new SCW World Champion, Syren basking in the glory of history. And I thought, well, okay. This is it. This is the part where something inside of me breaks.”

Cid pauses again and takes a breath.

Cid: “And for a while I convinced myself that that’s exactly what happened, because for so long I had built up this moment, this life-or-death scenario that kept me alive to fight another day. But as the days went by, as much as I thought I was broken… I wasn’t. I didn’t die. I didn’t feel empty. I didn’t feel like the world ended. What I felt was something I wasn’t expecting: a sad sort of relief.”

Cid looks around at the crowd as they murmur.

Cid: “Because Syren proved something at A Taste of Things to Come. Yes, she proved she’s the greatest of all time—you don’t survive eras of this company, carrying all these expectations all the while, and win eight world titles by accident. I like to think I pushed her. I dragged her into deep water and she didn’t drown, and it wasn’t by luck, it was because that’s just who she is. That’s her legacy. And when I stopped gawking at the lights, wondering if they led to heaven’s gates, I looked at Syren holding the World Championship, and I didn’t see a thief. I saw someone who needed it more than me. And that’s the part that hurts to admit: I don’t need it anymore.”

Cid lowers the mic and clears his throat. The crowd buzzes as he makes his way to the corner and bows his head onto the top turnbuckle, taking a moment to gather himself. He pushes himself out of the corner and brings the microphone back up, heading back towards the middle of the ring.

Cid: “My defeat is proof that I don’t need it anymore. And that used to terrify me, because if I didn’t need it, then who the hell was I? I convinced myself that to win was to survive. If I stopped chasing, I’d disappear. If I wasn’t World Champion, then I wasn’t real. But Syren beat me, and I woke up the next day. Somehow, the sun still came up, and I wasn’t alone. I had my people, the people who have made me believe that maybe there’s more to me than SCW.”

There’s another reaction from the crowd, including some mild boos.

Cid: “And that’s not an insult to this company. I mean, SCW is forever a part of me. This place made me. Then it broke me. But then it rebuilt me. And it continues to teach me something with every opportunity, every opponent. But… it’s not the only thing that keeps my heart beating. This brings me to the second vow I made just before Rise to Greatness…”

Cid takes a moment, glancing upwards.

Cid: “I vowed that my reign would mark the beginning of reality in SCW. I promised to show you the most real, raw version of me, even when it was ugly, even when it made me look weak, and God knows it got ugly, and you’ve all seen my weaknesses on full display over the last handful of months. Even if it contradicted everything I ever said before, I promised to be real. So, here’s the ugly truth.”

Cid looks to the camera.

Cid: “I thought I’d burn out in glory. I thought I’d go down swinging until there was absolutely nothing left. And while I fought like that, powered by my hideous truth, losing to Syren exposed the hardest truth of all: defeat isn’t extinction. And a lot of people might tell you that me realizing that is a good thing, like I can stand in front of you all tonight to tell you that I’m gonna train harder, schedule another match on my admittedly limited schedule. Maybe face some people I haven’t had the pleasure of facing…”

Excitement builds in the crowd.

Cid: “Like Dexter Grant.”

The crowd boos.

Cid: “Maybe Ryan LeCavalier.”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction.

Cid: “Maybe I could face the woman who nearly beat Syren to challenge me in the first place, Kimberly Williams.”

The crowd cheers.

Cid: “Ah, hell, maybe I could start chasing my way towards Syren and the World Championship again!”

The crowd roars. Cid chuckles and shakes his head.

Cid: “But I can’t.”

More boos come from the crowd as Cid holds one hand up.

Cid: “I’m sorry. But if I know that defeat isn’t extinction, then I’ve lost my edge. I can’t lose that hunger then stand here and pretend I’m still starving. That’s not who I said I’d be. No, I promised to keep this place honest, and that’s what I’m doing. So, if I can lose and still wake up whole… what am I fighting for now?”

Cid chews his lower lip. He peers out to the buzzing crowd.

Cid: “I don’t know the answer. I’m not fighting to survive anymore. I’m not fighting to prove that I belong. I’m no longer scared of who I am without this. There’s nothing left. So… I don’t know. I think for the first time in my career, I’m actually really ready to close the book.”

The crowd keeps buzzing. Cid takes a deep breath.

Cid: “So, tonight, I’ve come here to tell you that my match against Syren was my last ever—”

???: “Whoa! Whoa there! Cid! Cid! Don’t say something stupid! Dude! I got you…we on?”

Cid turns to the big screen as we see a camera come on in the bathroom where Asher Hayes is. We see Steve Hollinsworth holding his phone next to Asher, showing him the live feed for the show.

Hayes: “Hell yeah. We got this. Good thing I grabbed you broseph. Both of you! And you too Cid! Look….man….”

Cid: “Asher?! Aren’t you being chased? Can you afford to talk to me?”

Hayes: “All good. Locked the door. Can chat with you in peace!”

Cid: “Oh…well….good to know your last conversation with me will be from the shitter.”

Hayes: “It won’t! Totally won’t. But nothing has to be last, broseph. At least not yet. We’ve been through too much. And while yeah, sucks that Syren got you. I’ll try and make that good down the road. But there’s plenty more for you to fight for….”

Cid: “Well, I was just-“

Hayes: “I got it man. What does the world want? They want to see you ride out onto the sunset with your closest friend-“

Cid: “Crusher? I mean…I could ask him-“

Hayes: “Dude?”

Cid: “Holly? I don’t think she’ll answer my calls. Then again, I don’t think her number is in service.”

Hayes: “Come on, man. Me!”

The crowd roars.

Hayes: “A/C Unit! Bros before all. One more ride. Come on? We can do it!”

Cid: “Look, Ash…I….I don’t know. And I just-“

Hayes: “Come on. One more ride. You and I team up once more and I give you a heck of a ride and then you and I send you off in style at Retribution!”

The crowd roars.

Kayl: “He’s practically challenging him?!”

Cid: “Asher, I-“

Hayes: “We’ve been through so much. Even at Retribution. Let’s do it properly. We make sure the Tag Division is at its best. And we…we can then show the world how it’s done one more time. For you, for me.”

Cid pauses.

Cid: “For Sydney…”

Hayes: “Yeah. Her too!”

Cid: “A match where she’s not worried I’m going to die. Just one more match…against you….well two. One with you, and one against you.”

Hayes: “What do you say?”

Hayes turns his head as we hear banging.

Hayes: “Ah shit…can you tell me soon? Quick!”

Cid: “You know what, Asher. Survive tonight…and we ride one more time!”

The crowd erupts in cheers as Cid looks at the screen and then the crowd, hearing the cheers.

Sharper: “Two more matches. A/C Unit one more time. Then Cid and Asher once more!”

A “AC Unit!” chant begins.

Cid: “Asher…let’s tear it down-“

Just then, while the banging is still going on, we then see Asher turn as one of the other stall doors opens and we see Kemal Yilmaz run out and then spin around Hayes and take him down with a school boy.

Sharper: “Kemal Yilmaz was in there!”

Knots: “What was he waiting for!”

Sharper: “The perfect moment?!”

Hayes kicks out. We cut to the backstage as we see Hayes stumble up and turn and Kemal grabs him and nails him with a hard right and then another and another before Hayes lifts him up and throws him into one of the sinks. The sink breaks, causing water to spurt out of the facet. Hayes gets up and staggers over to the door. He unlocks it and opens it and the door swings open. Hayes falls back as we see Simon run over and go for the pin. Before Hollinsworth can even count, Lyman is pulled off by Sutter and Sutter goes for the pin.

He pulled off before Meghan covers him.

Meghan is pulled up as Hayes rolls over and we see Meghan attacked by Sutter, before Lyman and Glory fight. The Vision comes in as we see Wright grabbing at them before Hayes gets up and we see Striker nail him with a hard right and spins him around and throws him into the mirror. The mirror shatters as Hayes stumbles back. He goes to one of the stalls and goes in and tries to pull the door closed. Oskar then pulls Striker off before Hayes kicks the stall door out, causing it to go into Oskar’s face. Hayes then grabs Striker, but Striker grabs him and drives him into the toilet.

Knots: “He’s getting a swirly! Please tell me someone flushed before!”

Kayl: “Striker is helping him out now!”

Hayes struggles trying to get free as Striker laughs before flushing the toilet. Hayes falls back and rolls over. He crawls forward as Striker dives onto him for the pin.

The Vision pull him off. Hayes then crawls forward and manages to crawl out of the bathroom. He then gets up and looks around as Steve Hollinsworth follows him. Hayes staggers up and stumbles forward only for Lawler to hoist him up onto his shoulders and hits a Impact Driver through a nearby table. Hayes is laid out. Lawler covers him.

Sharper: “Lawler! Impact Driver!”

Knots: “Hayes just got out of that bathroom where everyone is going for him!”

The crowd roars.

Phillips: “Chris Lawler is the NEW SCW Underground Champion!”

Sharper: “Lawler said he’d win gold in 2026. And he’s done it tonight! New Underground Champion!”

Lawler gets up and looks around before we see him turn and jog down the hallway as we see David Striker come out of the bathroom, joined by Meghan Strader. They run after him as the chase continues. We cut back to the bathroom to see the Vision fighting attacking Kemal Yilmaz as Glory staggers out. Sutter does too. They start to run after as Simon Lyman steps out only to be attacked by the Order of the Chest. Religious Wright stirs too.

Sharper: “And the chaos…look at bodies!”

Knots: “And we’ve seen a few dip out. Kim may be hurt too. How great would that be! That would stop this nonsense!”

Sharper: “And wait a minute…we’re moving to another part of the arena.”

Kayl: “Is Cid going to check on Hayes?”

Sharper: “He’s left the ring. Hayes down…and well…”

We cut to another part of the building as we see Lawler stumbles forward and Striker nailing him from behind. Lawler stumbles forward as Striker spins him around and hits a forearm and then a left jab before hitting a discus forearm to the jaw. Lawler stumbles back before Lawler steps up and kicks him in the ribs, he grabs him and clubs him in the back before kneeing him in the ribs once and then again before Striker takes him down to the ground and gets on top of him, nailing him with repeated right hands before Lawler blocks one. He tries to go for a gogoplata, but Striker fights out of it. He gets up and Meghan Strader runs in and hits a running boot to the face. Lawler goes down as Meghan turns and Striker grabs a nearby garbage can and throws it at Meghan. Meghan staggers back. She falls over and down into a doorway that flies open. We then see El Lucha Grandita. She looks around as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Wait a minute…she is still here! Lexy Chapel still here!”

Knots: “Get her out!”

Kayl: “Hey, it is an open invitational!”

Sharper: “And well…here she comes.”

Grandita steps looks around and then grabs a coach from the room she’s in and tries to pull it out. She then turns and Striker runs over and Grandita hits a superkick on Striker. She turns and hits one on Meghan as she gets up and then turns and hits one on Lawler. She looks around before seeing Glory running over and turns and runs over to Lawler, seemingly trying to continue her cover.

Glory pulls her off and Grandita covers up to protect herself. Sutter runs over and stomps on Lawler before going for the pin.

Glory pulls him off before we see Grandita get up only to be run over by Simon Lyman who clotheslines her over and then looks around and then grabs Lawler. He pulls him up and then goes for an inside cradle.

Lawler kicks out as Mandy and Mirabelle attack Lyman. Misty then runs over and covers Lawler.

Grandita attacks her before getting up and we see Misty look up as Mandy and Mirabelle do too. They look at Grandita.

Grandita: “Uh….uh….LOOK! THE RUSSIANS!”

She points as they all then grab her before the contents of a fire extinguisher are expelled over the group. Grandita drops down, coughing as Mirabelle, Misty, Mandy, Sutter, and Glory Braddock all cough. We then see Ravyn Taylor walking forward and spraying them all with the fire extinguisher. Grandita looks up, coughing.

Ravyn: “Hold up! They’re still-“

She then sprays Grandita directly before smirking. She then reaching down and extends a hand. Grandita looks up.

Grandita: “I’m never going to live this down.”

Ravyn: “Not unless you want to let the conspiracy get you and then-“

Grandita: “Let’s roll!”

She gets up and runs as we see Ravyn covering their escape with puffs of fire-extinguisher “smoke” covering their way.

Kayl: “A Ravyn Taylor smokebomb!”

Knots: “They’re idiots!”

Sharper: “Well…”

Kayl: “Ravyn no; I’ll refrain comment otherwise.”

Sharper: “But this has now cleared this up a bit. And it appears the EFN and the Vision have slowed each other down a bit.”

The camera pans over before we then see Lawler starting to get up only for Amelia Nevado to run up from behind and lock in the Blight Choke. She pulls back as the crowd roars. Lawler struggles as Nevado tries to get Lawler down, trying to catch his leg, but Lawler elbows her in the ribs once and then again and again before then lifting her up onto his shoulder and then turning and hitting a powerslam onto a storage crate. The crowd ohs. Amelia hits and turns and the look of disappointment and anguish on her face is apparent.

Sharper: “Amelia Nevado! Trying to take advantage of this chaos and…”

Knots: “Not tonight.”

Kayl: “Lawler fighting her off and look at her face.”

Sharper: “That’s not just pain. Nevado, uncharacteristically attacking Lawler from behind. All legal in this, but Lawler managing to get her down and…”

Lawler then turns as we see Playtime running into the scene and nailing Lawler with a baking sheet. He falls to a knee and Lawler reaches up as Playtime nails him again and again and again. Lawler blocks each shot before he reaches up and tries to grab the sheet, but Playtime kicks him in between the legs. He falls down to his knees and Playtime then steps back and smirks before taking the baking sheet and then using her foot to kick it into his face. Playtime then goes for the pin, but Striker grabs her and pulls her up and throws her into the room Grandita came from. She goes over the couch and to the floor. Lawler stirs and Striker jumps up and hits the Yamato onto a storage crate.

Sharper: “Striker throwing Playtime off as she looked to grab the title for the second time tonight and Striker…her former friend….Yamato!”

Knots: “This idiot!”

Lawler falls back as Sutter, Glory, the Order, Lyman, and others all fight with each other. Striker goes for the pin.

The crowd in the arena roars as we see Striker get up and turn and points to Hollinsworth.

Phillips: “Here is your NEW SCW Underground Champion, David Striker!”

Striker: “Come on…follow me. Time to take this to the next level!”

Striker turns and heads off as Playtime climbs over the couch, annoyed. She then steps forward and starts to head after.

Knots: “Next level? The hell is he talking about?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but he’s the new champion! And we’re continuing after this!”

The scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see David Striker fighting Asher Hayes in the Gorilla Position.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. David Striker seems to be trying to get the fight back to the ring.”

Knots: “And Asher Hayes is trying to win the title for the second time tonight!”

Hayes drives Striker into one of tables before driving him down again. We then see Clyde Sutter come up from behind and grab a laptop. He slams it shut and nails Hayes, knocking him down. He then uses the laptop again to knock Striker over. Before Sutter can even think about going for the pin, we see Amelia spin him out and then jump up and hit a flying armbar into a takedown. Sutter yells in pain as Amelia hyper-extends the arm. She pulls back and looks around as we then see Simon Lyman heading over and grabbing Striker. He pulls him up and nails him with a hard right, but Striker elbows him in the jaw. Lyman staggers back as we see Striker then turn and grab the table he was driven into and hoists it up and suplexes the table onto Sutter and Amelia.

Sharper: “And Striker! Using that table!”

Kayl: “Right onto Amelia and Sutter. Again. Amelia with a bad break!”

Knots: “Now how we are going to hit our marks!”

Just then, the camera angle changes as we see Kimberly Williams, hair slicked back, wearing a black blazer, and running into the scene, holding a staple gun as if it’s a regular firearm. She runs forward and then quickly staples Religious Wright in the ass. He yells in pain and she then nails him with the gun before stepping forward as Chase Upshaw swings, but she grabs his arm and then wrenches it before stapling him in the forehead. He falls back. She turns and then staples Misty in the breast, causing her to yell and turn before ducking a double clothesline from Mirabelle and Mandy before then just hitting both with the staple gun. She then turns and runs up as Simon steps forward and she staples him in the face. He goes down before she runs over to Meghan and pushes her back, stapling her repeatedly in the ass. Meghan yells out before she turns and cradles the arm and then knocks the staple gun out before nailing Kim with a couple of hard rights. We then cut to the stage as David Striker stumbles out.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams, fighting back!”

Knots: “With her damn staple gun! How the hell is that wrestling?”

Kayl: “Kimmy Wick is here!”

Sharper: “And I shouldn’t have to point out that she’s fighting the Baba Jaga of Professional Wrestling right now as Striker comes out onto the stage!”

Striker turns as we see then Asher Hayes run out and clothesline him down. He falls to a knee and looks around. He then turns and grabs David Striker and David grabs the arm before suddenly, a pyro blast goes off on the other side of the stage. This brings David and Hayes to stop. They look over as we see Polly Playtime at the pyrotechnics station.

Sharper: “The hell! The hell is wrong with her!”

Knots: “That’s one way to stop this!”

She then presses another button as another pyroblast goes off. This leads to the pyro tech to plead with Polly to leave it alone. David snaps at Polly before we see Glory Braddock running over and tackling Polly down. The crowd roars. Striker and Hayes then grab one another before we see Xander Valentine running out from the back and clotheslining both down on the top of the stage. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Glory taking Polly down as Xander Valentine enters this match. What a clothesline on Hayes. On Striker.”

Kayl: “And everyone’s worst nightmare is coming true!”

We then see through the side of the entrance way, Meghan Strader and Kimberly Williams then go through it, seemingly both driving the other into it and causing them to end up on the stage in a heap. The crowd erupts again.

Sharper: “Strader and Williams! Destroying part of the entrance set. All because they want to hold the Underground Championship after tonight!”

Knots: “This is insane! This is absolutely insane!”

Xander turns and grabs Hayes and headbutts him. He falls back before Xander grabs Striker and nails him with a hard right. Amelia stumbles out and goes for a European uppercut. She hits one and then another before Sutter runs out and just drills her from behind with a clothesline. Amelia Nevado rolls down the rampway a bit before stopping. Sutter then turns to Xander who turns and boots him in the face. Striker then turns and runs at Xander, but Xander catches him by the throat. He hoists him up and chokeslams on the stage. Xander goes for the cover.

Hayes dropkicks Xander in the head. Xander rolls over. He turns and starts to get up as Hayes nails him with a couple of hard rights. Sutter then throws Hayes back before nailing Xander with a hard right of his own. Sutter turns around and Hayes then kicks him in the ribs and goes for a DDT. Sutter however lifts him up and throws him into the entrance set. The crowd ohs. Sutter then turns and Striker hits him with the Deadly Rave. Striker turns and heads over to Xander, but Xander shoves him back and Striker loses his footing and falls to the floor. We cut to show Glory and Polly fighting as Lawler comes onto the scene there. We then cut back to Striker who looks around and looks up at the ramp.

Sharper: “Striker off the stage! Oh no…oh good. He landed on his feet!”

Kayl: “Thank God. Xander just shoved him back and we know Striker’s a bit of a risktaker, but he normally decides it and we’ve seen a bit of that so far.”

Sharper: “Except…wait….wait!”

We then hear the sound of a honking car as we then see coming in front of the side of the stage, into the open area, a Sedan with tinted windows rolling up and Striker turns only for the car to hit him, sending him going up the hood of the car into the windshield and sliding down. The car comes to a sudden stop, leading Striker to end up on the ground. The crowd looks on stunned. Delatosso looks on from the suite, notably with Shaun Cruze now absent, stunned.

Sharper: “David Striker was just run down!”

Knots: “This is a wrestling match! We just saw a man get run over! Earlier someone struck by a woman a motorcycle!”

The camera angle changes as we then see it come up to the back door of the car. The door opens and the crowd roars as out from the car is Johnny Dollar!

Sharper: “What the hell? Johnny Dollar?!”

Knots: “Doesn’t he know to park outside!”

Dollar steps up and looks over at Striker before turning to the driver. He gives him a couple of bills.

Dollar: “Get the hell out of here! Okay! We don’t know each other!”

Dollar then taps the roof. The car starts to reverse and Dollar then dives onto Striker. He covers him.

We then see Amelia Nevado dive towards them, but fall short. She smacks the floor, again showing frustration before then stopping as Dollar gets up.

Phillips: “Here is your NEW SCW Underground Champion, Johnny Dollar!”

Dollar gets up and then stops and turns. He then sees his car driving back and then holds up a finger. He then runs over to the car as we see him go over to the hood. The driver can’t be seen, because of the tinted windows, but the car stops. Dollar motions for him to keep driving, as we see Clyde Sutter running over and grabbing Dollar and pulling him off the car. Dollar rolls through and looks up, smiling. He then goes to throw a right, but Sutter blocks it and then lifts him up and rams him into the barricade at the back of the floor crowd. Dollar falls to a knee as Sutter grabs him, but then Xander comes over and nails him with a hard right and then another. He turns and runs Sutter into the stage. We then see Lawler, who seemingly has come from the other side of the stage, running over and nailing Xander from behind. He then kicks Sutter before we see Glory Braddock up onto the rampway. She then dives off with a flip dive onto Lawler, Xander, and Sutter. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Glory Braddock now off the stage! This time intended and taking down Lawler, Valentine, and Sutter!”

Kayl: “Dollar getting a needed break, but that’s not enough!”

Hayes then climbs down the side of the stage as Dollar tries to go back to his car, but Hayes nails him in the ribs. Dollar throws hard right before Hayes nails him again and again before then looking at the car and then pulling him up and hitting a DDT on the hood. Dollar rolls off and down to the floor. Hayes dives onto him and goes for the pin.

Amelia breaks it up. Hayes looks up and from her knees, Amelia hits a European uppercut. She then dives for the pin on Dollar.

Dollar kicks out. Amelia rolls off as Dollar rolls over and starts to get up. Amelia grabs him and pulls him up as Hayes gets back up. We then see Polly running over and grabbing at Dollar as Xander, Sutter, and Lawler all start to get up and then we cut to the stage where Kim and Meghan are both grabbing one another, hammering away before then running each other to the side of the stage, throwing each other off and onto the pile of wrestlers down below. The crowd erupts in cheers.

Sharper: “My God! Strader and Williams, who have continued this brawl in this match, throwing each other off the stage and taking everyone out!”

Kayl: “Just chaos and calamity! Everyone down on the floor!”

Knots: “This…this…”

Kayl: “-is amazing!”

Sharper: “And if someone is backstage, looking to get this title, this may be it. Dollar is down and…”

The cameraman always was apparently taken down from the impact. Their camera keeps rolling, showing Dollar down as the crowd cheers loudly, before we see a set of feet coming over onto the scene before something is placed on top of Dollar. The crowd continues to cheer. We then hear the count from Hollinsworth.

The crowd erupts as we cut to a wide shot to reveal WASLEY has been placed on top of Dollar.

Phillips: “Here is your new SCW Underground Champion…WASLEY!”

The crowd erupts as we just see Delatosso getting up in his suite, grabbing his coat and storming out of it.

Knots: “What the hell?”

Sharper: “In the tradition of Jerry the Gnome, WASLEY is now the second talisman to be Underground Champion!”

Kayl: “But now…now who will stop WASLEY!”

Sharper: “We have to take out final commercial break. We’ll be back!”

A “WASLEY” chant comes from the crowd as the man people in the match start to stir and the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

DURING THE BREAK:

Breakdown returns as we see a still of WASLEY on Dollar.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. We’re about to see the end of this match, but WASLEY’s time as champion was cut short.”

Knots: “Did you just hear what you just said?!”

Sharper: “Take a look at this.”

Misty, Mandy, and Mirabelle grab WASLEY and run towards the ring. We see them all heading to the ring before throwing WASLEY into the ring. They all climb in and then we see Misty dive on top of WASLEY. Hollinsworth is a bit slow to get in.

We then see Damon Cage slide into the ring, coming from the crowd and running over and stomps Misty in the back before spinning and grabbing Mirabell and throwing her out of the ring. Mandy runs at Cage as Cage backdrops her over the top rope. Misty gets up and jumps up, crossbodying Cage over the top rope to the floor. We then see Simon Lyman sliding into the ring. He heads over to WASLEY and goes for the pin.

Amelia Nevado pulls him off and then drills him with a European uppercut. She then slides into the ring. She looks around.

Sharper: “Damon Cage stopping the Order of the Chest from becoming the champion.”

Knots: “Where the hell is Cage come from?”

Sharper: “But look at Amelia…the hesitation…but then the decision.”

Nevado takes a moment, looking around, before then going to pin WASLEY.

The crowd roars. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We return live as Amelia Nevado takes down Fiona Logan with a fireman’s carry takedown and then backs up into the corner. Melinda Braddock slides in and reaches over at Amelia. Amelia swats at Melinda’s hand, trying to throw her off before Melinda grabs Amelia and Amelia drops down and spins through, going for a fireman’s carry on Melinda. Melinda ends up on her feet.

Sharper: “Welcome back live. Amelia Nevado is your Underground Champion at the moment. And right now, trying to deal with the Vision.”

Knots: “While the chaos all over.”

Sharper: “And you can see people fighting all over.”

We see Kim fighting with Sutter as Glory and Meghan fight. We then see Simon Lyman getting up on the floor as we see Striker, Xander, Lawler, and Hayes engaged in battle as Damon Cage fights with the Order of the Chest. Back in the ring, Melinda hits Amelia with a back kick and then turns and boots her in the face. Melinda turns and runs into the ropes as Amelia then hits a European uppercut. Melinda falls back as Fiona then boots Amelia in the face. She goes for the pin.

Amelia kicks out. Melinda rolls to the floor and then reaches under the ring as we see Striker reaching the ring. He grabs a chair and throws it into the ring before grabbing another throwing it in.

Sharper: “Striker starting to throw weapons into the ring.”

Kayl: “We’re running out of time fast in this one.”

Sharper: “About five minutes left. That’s all Amelia needs to walk out the champion!”

Melinda grabs a table and pulls it out from under the ring. She unfolds the table legs and sets it up at ringside as Fiona grabs Amelia with a hard elbow to the back of the head and then another. She runs into the ropes to go for the Logan’s Run, but Amelia grabs WASLEY and spins, nailing Fiona with it. Fiona rolls out of the ring. The crowd ohs. Amelia then turns and throws WASLEY at Melinda. Melinda falls back to the ground as Amelia stumbles around and turns and walks into a Kimberly Williams superkick. She then bends over to Amelia.

Kim: “Only I can touch WASLEY!”

Kim then goes for the pin.

Striker throws a steel chair at Kim’s face. Kim rolls over. Striker slides in as we see Polly Playtime enter in from the opposite side with a steel chair of her own. Striker grabs a chair, but Polly steps up and swings, knocking it back into Striker’s face. Striker goes down hard. Polly then looks at him before turning and nailing Kim in the back. Kim rolls over as Polly then turns as Lawler enters the ring. She swings and nails Lawler with a shot. He goes down before Xander slides in and Polly turns only for Xander to boot her in the face. She rolls over and starts to get up and Xander hoists her up in a military press and turns and throws her over the top rope and onto Meghan Strader and Clyde Sutter. Amelia gets up and Glory grabs her and goes for an inside cradle, but Amelia rolls through and they roll apart. Hayes enters and goes after Xander as Dollar follows a step after, joined by Oskar Theron. Hollywood also appear at ringside, joining the fight against Simon Lyman as we see Xander kick Hayes in the ribs as Amelia then manages to counter a swinging neckbreaker by Glory before spinning through into a hangman’s neckbreaker. Glory rolls over. We see Dollar run at Amelia, but Amelia sidesteps him and then dropkicks Oskar. She turns and then nails Xander with a European uppercut.

Sharper: “Amelia Nevado is trying to take on the field. Fighting anyone and everyone moving! Trying to hold on!”

Knots: “Time’s running out!”

Dollar then turns and kicks Amelia in the ribs. He grabs her by the head and goes for a tornado DDT, but Amelia throws him to the apron. Dollar lands and drops to his knees, but just then, turns and Xander shoulders her and she falls back into the corner before falling back as Xander hoists her up and hits the Valhalla has Fallen onto a steel chair in the ring. The crowd ohs. Xander goes for the pin.

Phillips: “Here is your new SCW Underground Champion…Xander Valentine!”

Sharper: “And with mere minutes left! Amelia couldn’t hang on. Xander pinning her and-“

Kayl: “Look out!”

Xander rolls off as we then see Hayes grab one of the chairs and nails Xander in the side with it. Xander staggers and Hayes nails him again. Xander boots Hayes and Hayes falls back. We then see Lawler pulls himself onto the apron and Oskar then runs across and jumps up and hits a crossbody, knocking him off the apron and both go through the table Melinda set up. The crowd roars. We then see Hayes run at Xander, but Xander boots him. This leads to Dollar to recover and then suddenly throw his coat onto Xander .Xander turns and throws it off but Dollar nails him in the back of the head with brass knuckles. Xander falls to a knee and Dollar runs into the ropes, bouncing off and nailing Xander with a running superman match, driving the knuckles into his head. He goes for the pin.

The crowd roars. Kim starts to stir as Dollar looks around as Hayes rolls to the floor.

Phillips: “Here is your NEW SCW Underground Champion, Johnny Dollar!”

Sharper: “Dollar winning it again. And now, can he get out or-“

Knots: “Kim!”

Dollar turns and gets up only for Kim to hit him with WASLEY. He drops and Kim goes for the pin.

The crowd erupts.

Phillips: “Here is your NEW SCW Underground Champion, Kimberly Williams!”

Kim rolls over and turns as we see Striker nail her with a steel chair. She falls through the ropes to the floor. She then starts to get up and turns around as we see Hayes run around the ring, chair in hand and jump up and hit the Dust to Dust, using the chair to add to the impact. Kim goes down. Hayes goes for the pin.

The crowd erupts.

Phillips: “Here is your NEW SCW Underground Champion, Asher Hayes!”

Hayes rolls over and looks around before Glory Braddock dives through the ropes and nails him, knocking him up onto the announce table. A countdown clock comes out counting down twenty seconds.

Sharper: “We’re in the final twenty seconds! Braddock knocking Asher onto our table!”

Knots: “This is nuts!”

Kayl: “Can he hold on!”

Braddock goes to Hayes, but Hayes boots her in the face, knocking her back. We see Simon run over and Hayes nails him with a shot before Meghan heads over and Hayes throws a laptop at her, knocking her back. Mirabelle runs over as Damon Cage grabs Misty and throws her back before grabbing Mandy. Asher spins around and boots Mirabelle. She staggers back before we see Dollar diving off the top rope with a splash onto Asher, driving him through the announce table. The crowd ohs. Dollar bounces off and then turns and throws him onto Asher.

The buzzer goes and the bell sounds. Dollar rolls off.

Sharper: “The time’s up! The time’s up!”

Knots: “There are two men down in front of us!”

Playtime falls over as Amelia looks on. We see Kim look over as Hollinsworth then holds Asher’s arm up. The crowd cheers.

Phillips: “Here is your winner and SCW Underground Champion….Asher Hayes!”

Dollar rolls over as Asher looks around and smiles before collapsing back down. His music plays throughout the arena.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes stands tall at the end-“

Knots: “He aint standing tall!”

Kayl: “He is Underground Champion though!”

Sharper: “He is. Asher Hayes is a champion again…and now what?”

Hayes smiles as the scene fades out…
