“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid

Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie

Can't stop this screamin' voice

Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing the Fall of Man standing tall. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Enigma, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

This is the face

I hate the other side of me

Out of this cage

He breaks to take the life from me

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Shinigami Foundation standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

I'm closer to the edge

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery

Insane

These voices in my brain

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see the Glimmer Sisters making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Meghan Strader are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We come to the Midwest, to St. Louis, for Breakdown!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Devon Kayl and Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here alongside Jonathan Knots and Devon Kayl. And folks, we’re on the road to Retribution. A lot going on so far. And we have a new Underground Champion.”

Knots: “Don’t remind us about that. Let’s focus on something better. Shaun Cruze! Cruze will be in action tonight and against our hero and yours, Gavin Taylor!”

Kayl: “One way to look at Gavin. Meanwhile, Gavin is seemingly on a crossroads with Syren and Syren faces Kemal Yilmaz later tonight.”

Sharper: “We also will see the Television Championship on the line. Some tag action. Lots to come here tonight in St. Louis!”

The arena lights shut off completely.  The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice can be heard saying:

“You want me to cut the crap?  My answer is that you need to cut yours.”

The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous glowing angry green eyes make an appearance.  Most of the screen stays black, but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".

An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One.  Game Over."

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage. "Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to sing the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of the stage between the strobe lights. The overhead arena lights return and as we see Polly Playtime walking out from the back. The light purple strobe rights turn to point directly to the ring as Polly heads to the ring. The crowd boos as she makes her way down to the ring.

Knots: “There’s someone we should be focusing more on. Former Underground Champion. Former three time Television Champion. Deserves so much more.”

Kayl: “She’s had opportunity-“

Knots: “Yeah, but now she’s getting the one’s she deserved, not just the one’s CHBK would give her. She always deserved better.”

Polly Playtime walks over to the steel steps and then walks up them and onto the apron and into the ring. She ignores the crowd before heading over to the corner, demanding a microphone from Jason Phillips. Phillips hands her a microphone. She takes it and walks back over to the middle of the ring. The music fades out as Polly glances at the crowd, glaring at them and scans the arena.

Polly: “Last week was a tragedy of epic proportions in this sport. In one night, we saw just how CHBK actually gives opportunities. Sure…everyone could get involved. Everyone could have a shot. And so many people who deserved so little or who already had so much getting involved because their egos couldn’t handle it!”

Polly looks out at the crowd, not breaking her stoic composure.

Polly: “But then to show just how humiliating this was…to start this match and to set history, Kimberly Williams had to pin an unsuspecting crew member because again, she can’t just do things normally. She wants to play by her own rules. And the fact is that that crew member never agreed to be part of this. The fear in their eyes.”

Polly shakes her head.

Polly: “And I know people like Kim…like Meghan Strader…like Chris Lawler….like Glory Braddock…like David Striker…All of these people who think they deserved something and they get their little ego rub when this was all based on fraud!”

Sharper: “All people Polly has had an issue with in the last two years.”

Polly: “I tried to end this farce by taking the title to Frank Delatosso so we could finally stop this joke. But then Deanna Frost had to get involved. Could you stay out of my business? While I have time for your ex-wife, Deanna. You…you should also stop pretending. But it won’t matter because I am standing here today with a formal demand to expunge last week’s farce and to retire the Underground Championship once and for all!”

The crowd boos loudly. Just then, “People Like Us” by Kelly Clarkson plays. Polly rolls her eyes. Deanna Frost walks out from the back, holding the SCW Adrenaline Championship over her shoulder. She looks in the ring before starting to walk down the rampway.

Polly: “You stay the hell over there. This has nothing to do with you. I know you’re trying to find meaning but standing tall as Shot of Adrenaline Tournament winner when half the field couldn’t even keep going and when you’re still not the Frost anyone is talking about, isn’t going to help. So go backstage and cry to someone who cares.”

Deanna, having stopped when Polly started to speak, then heads to the ring and rolls into the ring. She then gets up and steps forward as Polly just extends her arm to Deanna’s shoulder to keep her back. Deanna swats it away and steps up. We then see officials running down from the back.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost interrupting Polly Playtime and now things are getting physical here.”

Knots: “This had nothing to do with her!”

The officials enter the ring and quickly get between the two women. Deanna steps forward as Polly backs up and rolls out of the ring. She then backs up on the floor. A couple of officials head to the floor and stay with her. Deanna then notices the microphone down on the mat. She then walks over and grabs it and brings it up to her face.

Deanna: “Think this has nothing to do with me? Seeing someone spit in the face of the hard work some of us are doing. All because you’re angry that you haven’t been able to punch through the glass ceiling. Kimberly Williams earned everything last week. Even you earned the title for the short while. And to slap everyone in the face because you’re pissy?!”

Polly snaps back at her.

Polly: “Sure thing golden child. Claim hard up when you’ve gotten everything because you’re just a Frost!”

Deanna steps up as we then see CHBK walking to the ringside area. The crowd cheers seeing him as he walks up the steel steps and then enters the ring. He walks over as Deanna keeps moving to the ropes. CHBK heads over to her and talks to her. Deanna backs up as CHBK asks for the microphone. Deanna extends it to him.

Deanna: “Maybe you can talk some sense into her.”

Deanna can be heard on the camera before CHBK turns to Polly.

CHBK: “Polly…consider your demand denied. The crew was briefed. The rules were clear. And how else are people supposed to know. And the battlefield was equal.”

Polly: “Bullshit!”

Polly snaps as CHBK leans over.

CHBK: “I’m not going to change anything when we saw a night that these fans, this company, this roster won’t forget and something quite poetic of reintroducing some of the chaos one expects in the Underground Division. The be ready for anything division. And if you don’t like it, don’t compete in the division. Simple as that!”

We then see Frank Delatosso starting to walk down to the ring in a suit. The crowd boos loudly as they see him. He continues to walk down the rampway to the ringside area. CHBK turns and sees him as Polly walks over to Delatosso.

Polly: “Maybe someone needs to remember who is actually in charge.”

Delatosso: “Thank you Polly.”

Delatosso walks over to the steel steps and walks up them and into the ring. He then steps forward as CHBK turns to him.

CHBK: “You don’t need to be out here.”

Delatosso ignores CHBK and walks across to the opposite corner. He demands a microphone as Deanna looks around. Delatosso is handed a microphone by Phillips as Polly smugly looks on from the floor. Delatosso turns back.

Delatosso: “I’ll decide where I need to be.”

CHBK: “And I’m still given full control over the roster, the on-air product, and the booking.”

Delatosso: “Perhaps we should re-evaluate that. Are you actually happy with last week?”

Deanna just looks on.

CHBK: “Very. For many reasons.”

CHBK glances at Deanna briefly. Deanna smirks.

Delatosso: “Really? Your chaos…leading us to having to have contact with local police when a woman drove up in front of a building and struck someone with a baton?! Or we had someone run over with a car? Or what about the damage to the building? And finally, all of that…we saw how many Underground Champions crowned last week?”

CHBK: “Fourteen.”

Delatosso: “Fourteen! And for each SCW had to cut a check for their bonus for winning the title…fifty thousand dollars each time. This after the stunt with the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament, a failed attempt that showed how we have roster members with weak constitution and with the potential to cost of thousands….Last week cost us-“

CHBK: “Seven hundred thousand dollars just on new champions. I know. I also know what you’re not spending money on. A trophy for the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament, to highlight the fight those who did survive it had. Celebratory pyro to make that moment just that much special for a woman who won the World Championship for the eighth time, setting a record. And before you respond with, that’s all extra. I know the ratings, the advertiser rates and more you received for last week’s show. So don’t tell me this is about money when it’s about you and I having a difference of opinion on what we give these fans. Here’s the hint though…these fans make the decision.”

Delatosso just leans back and glances at Deanna as Deanna just nods at him. Polly shakes her had at ringside.

CHBK: “Just like I offered Kimberly Williams a new contract. No matter what YOU think of her.”

Delatosso: “Why waste the money, time, and investment on a loose cannon like that?!”

CHBK: “Hey! SCW fans! Want to help him understand?!”

The crowd roars as Delatosso looks around. A “Kim!” chant begins. Deanna even starts to help the fans with the chant. CHBK smirks.

Delatosso: “That’s fine…fans are fickle. They’ll find another hero. Because you forget something…money is still king and while you’re bleeding it, while engaging in stunts like the Shot of Adrenaline or last week’s events…you are not forever. And SCW deserves a future that will last! And I just need to convince the Board that I have that vision…and I have the money.”

Delatosso smiles before patting CHBK on the back. He walks past him and then steps through the ropes, ignoring Deanna, and then walking down the steps. Polly just smirks as she turns and heads to the back. Frank Delatosso walks a few strides behind as Deanna and CHBK watch them leave, officials remaining around ringside.

Knots: “Money is king! Remember that!”

Sharper: “That’s not all.”

Knots: “This is a business Sharper. And let’s face it…people will accept the greatness of people like Polly, like Shaun…like….Gavin! Great talent right there! SCW has seen greats come and go. There are some greats right under CHBK’ nose. He doesn’t have to play to the lowest common denominator!”

Kayl: “You’re unbelievable!”

The scene cuts away.

Backstage, we open up to see David Striker pacing backstage as we see Alex Belmont and Wil Pierce getting ready for their match, both doing up their boots.

Wil: “David…stop pacing.”

Striker: “I finally get the title. Finally get it…and I had to get run down to just be stopped and by what…I find out what? A pumped up gimmick from the past….And Chris also got it….Polly….”

Alex: “Just, you need to let that go too. She’s made her decision.”

Striker: “Doesn’t mean I have to like it. Just….”

Wil: “Seriously…stop pacing. You’re going to wear out the carpet.”

Striker: “And now it’s with what? Asher? Asher Hayes…he’s the champ. Well, maybe that’s who I gun for. He can have his little happy ending with Cid. But he’s a champion. And they have targets on their backs.”

Alex: “Damn right.”

Striker: “Yeah….yeah….not going to let this die.”

Wil: “Well you focus there. Alex and I…we have some fun tonight. The Vision. Finally, something we can sink our teeth into.”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Frank Delatosso walking down one of the hallways and stopping at a room. We then see Polly walking over to him.

Polly: “Figured he’d be that transparent.”

Delatosso: “This is the long game. Remember I told you I’d make sure you get what you deserve. I don’t plan to be made a liar there.”

Polly: “Just remember, I’m not here to be patient.”

Delatosso: “Understood.”

Just then, Shaun Cruze walks over to Delatosso and Polly.

Cruze: “Sorry to interrupt, but Frank…we should talk.”

Delatosso: “After you.”

Delatosso opens the door to his office as Cruze steps inside. Polly walks off as we cut to the ring.

The Shinigami Foundation vs. The Vision

Phillips: “The following tag team contest is scheduled for one fall!”

The arena lights drop into an ominous crimson haze as the haunting intro of “Nothing Feels Right” by Ozzy Osbourne crawls through the sound system, thick with unease and anticipation. The crowd instantly responds with a wave of boos, and just as the first distorted riff growls to life, a spotlight ignites at the top of the ramp, illuminating The Vision: Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan. Standing side by side, they strike an intimidating contrast. Melinda is a vision of smug superiority, her expression cool and contemptuous as she slowly steps forward, chin high and lips curled in a slight, self-satisfied smile. Draped in a gleaming black-and-gold jacket with high-fashion detailing, she moves like she’s walking a runway, not a wrestling ramp; each step deliberate, arrogant, like the crowd should be grateful to witness her existence. Beside her, Fiona Logan bursts into movement like a firecracker, all swagger and attitude. She twirls once with flair, throws her arms wide, and mouths off at the nearest fans with wild eyes and a devilish grin. Her ring gear shimmers under the strobe lights as she throws fake kisses to the crowd one second and flips them off the next. She leans over the barricade at one point, taunting a fan’s sign, pointing and laughing, then skips back toward her partner with a cocky shoulder bump. Trailing just a few steps behind them is Clyde Sutter, a looming figure in black with long, dark hair cascading over his shoulders. His expression is emotionless, unreadable, a stark contrast to the explosive energy in front of him. His eyes scan the ring like a hawk, and while he never says a word, his presence alone demands silence. He’s the dark anchor to the chaos and vanity that is The Vision.

Phillips: “Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Clyde Sutter, the team of Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan, they are... The Vision!”

As the trio reaches the ring, Melinda glides up the steel steps slowly, wiping her boots with theatrical disdain before stepping through the ropes like she’s entering a palace. She pauses in the center of the ring, holding her arms out as if waiting for imaginary flowers to be thrown at her feet. Fiona leaps onto the apron, then climbs through the ropes with an over-the-top spin, landing on one knee and pointing to herself with a defiant smirk as the music’s chorus hits. She yells at the crowd, mocking them ruthlessly, and then she pounds her chest before popping back up to her feet. Clyde takes his place outside, arms folded, unmoved. As the music fades and the lights return to normal, Melinda raises one perfectly manicured hand while Fiona perches on the second rope, taunting the audience one last time.

Sharper: “Things have not gone the way The Vision would have liked for quite some time now.”

Kayl: “One could say that fate hasn't been too kind to them.”

Knots: “At least someone at this desk can come up with clever quips, because it's clearly not Devon.”

Sharper: “Melinda and Fiona didn't have great outings back during Fatal Fortunes, and the last time we technically saw them in action was alongside Clyde as part of that big Underground Title turmoil last week.”

Kayl: “Not a single title reign for any of them, and while these ladies have been demanding to be back in the Tag Title picture, there's an argument to be made that their recent track record hasn't warranted it.”

Knots: “Luckily for them, fate's on their side to fix that right here tonight.”

“Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)” by Rob Zombie hits, and after a few moments pass, we see Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont walk out from the back. Pierce steps up and throws his arms in the air and then motions to the crowd. Belmont looks around and smirks before they start to head to the ring. The crowd gives them a solid reaction as they make their way down the rampway.

Phillips: “And their opponents, the team of Wil Pierce and Alex Belmont... The Shinigami Foundation!”

Pierce and Belmont storm to the ring and pull themselves up onto the apron. They both step into the ring, circling the ring as they stare down Melinda and Fiona, looking to be all business as they move to settle into their corner.

Sharper: “The Vision aren't the only ones hungry to get back into the Tag Title picture. The Shinigami Foundation, specifically Pierce and Belmont, still haven't been able to wash the taste of losing the titles to the Glimmer Sisters last year out of their mouths, and with the Glimmers no longer the champions at the moment, they may be hungrier than ever.”

Knots: “And that's exactly why The Vision are going to win this one easy. Fate doesn't smile on assholes... it's a proven fact!”

Kayl: “Feels like it's been a while since things have started heating up within the tag team division. Between champions who aren't too fond of each other, the Glimmers potentially still having a rematch waiting in the wings, Hollywood having a case after Selena got herself and Xander DQ'd in their title match last week, not to mention the Tag Title shot Luz won through Fatal Fortunes, over Belmont in fact, that we assume she'd want to use alongside Amelia, a match like this could be more important than people think in trying to help sort things out down the line.”

Both teams take a moment to discuss who’s starting this match. The Shinigami Foundation bump fists before Pierce steps out onto the apron, leaving Belmont to start. Fiona starts to step up, but Melinda says something to her, seemingly reassuring her about something relating to fate before Fiona nods and steps out onto the apron a little reluctantly. Referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell as Melinda and Belmont circle one another before locking up. Belmont starts to overpower Melinda, but she manages to slip behind him for a rear waistlock. She tries to trip him to the mat, but Belmont blocks and catches her with a back elbow before performing a standing switch. He starts to lift her up for a german suplex, but she hits a back elbow of her own! She twists around for a spinning backfist, but Belmont ducks it before connecting with a capoeira-style spinning heel kick!

Sharper: “Melinda and Belmont fairly even here in the early-going of this match, but Belmont managing to gain the upper hand.”

Knots: “For now.”

Belmont pulls Melinda to her feet and hits her with a european uppercut, followed up by a headbutt. Melinda backs against the ropes and Belmont goes to irish whip her, but Melinda manages to twist through before stunning Belmont with a roundhouse kick! She grabs him in a rear waistlock and runs him into the ropes, rebounding him into an O’Connor roll! Melinda, however, misses as Pierce reaches out and manages to tag himself in before Belmont is pulled back, explaining why Hollinsworth isn’t counting. Belmont kicks out, propelling Melinda into Pierce as he hoists her up into a fireman’s carry, and once Belmont’s back on his feet, Pierce tosses Melinda into a shoot kick to the chest from Belmont!

Sharper: “Melinda thought she was turning the tables on Belmont, but Pierce tagging in and this is where the Shinigami Foundation are the most dangerous.”

Kayl: “They are a very fluid old school throwback kind of tandem and it makes them very hard to stop once they get on a roll.”

Belmont exits the ring as Pierce hoists Melinda up before planting her into the mat with a folding powerbomb, stacking her up for the pin!

1!

2!

Melinda kicks out! Pierce isn’t deterred as he hauls Melinda back to her feet and irish whips her into the ropes. Whatever he had planned, however, is thwarted as Melinda hooks her arms under the top rope to stop herself. Pierce charges in, but Melinda meets him with a spinning heel kick! She reaches out and tags in Fiona before pulling herself up to her feet and grabbing Pierce. Melinda twists Pierce around into a neckbreaker position as Fiona runs off the ropes and connects with the Spear Fishing into a neckbreaker from Melinda, completing The Visionary! Fiona goes for the pin while Melinda watches Belmont.

2!

Pierce kicks out!

Sharper: “The Vision finally getting something going in their favor, and Fiona’s been chomping at the bit to start throwing hands with the Shinigami Foundation.”

Kayl: “She originally wanted to start the match, but she’s in now and the tide has shifted.”

Knots: “All according to the whims of fate!”

Melinda exits the ring, looking down at Clyde and conversing with him for a moment as Fiona pulls Pierce back to his feet and cracks him with a right hand that sends him staggering into the nearest neutral corner. She connects with another right hand, followed by another one. Hollinsworth warns Fiona to get Pierce out of the corner, and she obliges by irish whipping him across the ring. Pierce hits the opposite corner hard and Fiona follows in with a stinger splash! As he staggers out, she grabs him arm and irish whips him again, this time redirecting him into The Vision’s corner before following in with another stinger splash! Melinda tags herself back in as Fiona pulls Pierce out of the corner into a short-arm spinebuster, and Melinda follows up with a springboard splash to complete the Fateful Vision! Fiona rolls out onto the apron as Melinda pulls Pierce away from the ropes and goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Belmont enters the ring and breaks up the pin with a sliding kick to the side of Melinda’s head! Fiona starts to step into the ring, but Belmont quickly backs towards his team’s corner and Hollinsworth intervenes to maintain order.

Sharper: “Fateful Vision only gets two, but The Vision in full control right now and forcing Belmont to have to break up the pin.”

Kayl: “We frequently talk about the chemistry of the Shinigami Foundation, but Fiona and Melinda know each other very well and their synergy is just as good.”

Knots: “I’d argue it’s better. At least The Vision doesn’t let themselves get sidetracked with battles that have nothing to do with them!”

Belmont stomps on the apron, trying to rally Pierce as Melinda runs off the ropes and catches him with a running knee strike as he tries to rise! Melinda turns towards Belmont, grinning at him before she moves to tag Fiona back in. Pierce slowly tries to get back to his feet, but Fiona grabs him in a rear waistlock, perhaps thinking german suplex. Melinda goes for a superkick, perhaps looking to begin the Stairway to Heaven, but Pierce catches Melinda’s foot! She hops on one foot for a moment as Fiona releases the rear waistlock and starts clubbing him from behind, causing him to let go of Melinda. Steve Hollinsworth tries to get Melinda to leave the ring, but The Vision seem to change tactics as they run past Pierce and off the ropes opposite of each other, perhaps thinking Vision’s Run now that Melinda’s behind Pierce and Fiona is in front of him, but Belmont enters the ring and as soon as Melinda hits the ropes, he blasts her with the Gilgamesh Full House, sending her up and over the ropes and out to the floor! This stalls Fiona for a moment, but she still attempts the Logan’s Run anyway, only for Pierce to catch her with the Demon Soul Lariat!

Sharper: “Belmont running interference and The Vision’s plans starting to fall apart now!”

Knots: “This isn’t how fate said this was supposed to go! How dare these idiots bend the rules to suit their needs?”

Kayl: “You mean like The Vision has for the past several minutes?”

Belmont steps back out onto the apron, but it’s not long before Pierce tags him in. Pierce hauls Fiona to her feet and hoists her up for a powerbomb, and Belmont catches her with a sling blade on the way down! Belmont goes for the cover as Pierce stands guard.

1!

2!

Fiona gets a shoulder up! Pierce exits the ring, but Belmont tags him right back in as he throws Fiona into their corner, the two of them beginning the Devil’s Dance as Pierce lights Fiona up with knife edge chops while Belmont peppers her with shoot kicks. We see Clyde help Melinda to her feet out on the floor, and once he points out the trouble Fiona is in, Melinda rolls back into the ring. Pierce sees this and points it out to Belmont, though, and as Melinda charges in to save her partner, the Shinigami Foundation catch her with the Creeping Death! We see Sutter starts to climb onto the apron now, but Pierce rushes over and blasts him with the Rasengan to knock him back to the floor! Belmont then pulls Fiona out of the corner and throws her into Pierce, who lifts her into a fireman’s carry as Belmont runs off the ropes and the two of them connect with the Doom Train! Pierce goes for the cover.

1!

2!

Melinda dives in and breaks up the pin before Belmont can cut her off!

Sharper: “Melinda just barely saving this match, but it’s been full steam ahead for the Shinigami Foundation and The Vision have had no answer!”

Knots: “There’s always an answer! Fate says so!”

Kayl: “I think the Shinigami Foundation would disagree, unless The Vision can pull a rabbit out of their hat here shortly!”

Melinda gets back to her feet, but Belmont grabs her and throws her out of the ring. He and Pierce converse for a moment before Belmont moves to the corner, stomping his foot in anticipation as Pierce grabs Fiona by the waist and lifts her off the mat into a wheelbarrow position. Before Belmont can charge, however, Sutter suddenly grabs his foot! Belmont pulls it away and shoots him a glare. Melinda has rolled back into the ring and she rushes Pierce from behind as Fiona starts to reverse the wheelbarrow into a victory roll. Belmont, however, catches Melinda’s movement and charges, and just as she leaps to catch Pierce from behind with the Trending, Belmont intercepts her in midair with the Deathwing Lariat! Fiona ends up pulling Pierce into a victory roll pin, but just as Hollinsworth drops down to start the count, Belmont soccer kicks her in the spine! He nudges Melinda out of the ring with his foot as Pierce rolls backwards, pulling Fiona back into the wheelbarrow position as Belmont runs off the ropes and he and Pierce connect with the Final Rebellion! Pierce rolls Fiona over for the cover, hooking the leg as Belmont checks to make sure Melinda is down before he runs over and kicks as Sutter through the ropes to stop him from trying to get on the apron as a distraction.

1!

2!

3!

The bell rings and “Never Gonna Stop (The Red Red Kroovy)” by Rob Zombie hits the speakers again as Belmont turns and helps Pierce to his feet, the two bumping chests before Hollinsworth raises their arms in victory.

Phillips: “Here are your winners… the Shinigami Foundation!”

Sharper: “Clyde Sutter trying to tip the scales in favor of The Vision at the end there, but Belmont thinking on his feet and cutting off Melinda to set up the Final Rebellion and a big win for the Foundation!”

Knots: “But… but fate doesn’t favor assholes! These guys don’t deserve it!”

Kayl: “I’d argue they deserve it as much as anybody else, Jon, and this win puts them one step closer back to where they want to be.”

Belmont and Pierce walk around the ring, celebrating their victory. Fiona rolls towards the ropes closest to the stage as Sutter collects her and Melinda joins them, rubbing her throat and shoulders as The Vision all back up the rampway, glaring in frustration at the Shinigami Foundation. Belmont sees this and returns Melinda’s grin from earlier as he and Pierce continue playing to the crowd.

Kemal Yilmaz walks out of the locker room of the European Fiery Nation. He takes a few steps as we see Religious Wright present.

Wright: “Kemal! How are you in the eyes of the LAWRD?!”

Kemal: “I got the text. Is this all it is? You coming out here with your blithering-“

Gavin: “Is that anyway to speak to the spiritual leader of the Make America Gavin Again movement?”

Gavin walks over, flanked by the All-Star Secret Service.

Kemal: “What do you want?”

Gavin: “This is pretty simple. You have a match against Syren. And I know you’re focusing on Glory. So you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.”

Kemal: “You can’t book matches.”

Gavin: “But when I’m World Champion, I know what people like Glory want and they want to become World Champion. And I’ll be the best champion, the most beautiful champion. A champion people will dream off. No one will be the champion I will be. And Glory, with her GDS won’t be able to stand it.”

Kemal: “GDS?”

Gavin: “Gavin Derangement Syndrome. I mean, you’ve seen her SDS.”

Kemal: “SDS?”

Gavin: “Syren Derangement Syndrome. Add that I’ve beaten Syren. An amazing win. Beautiful win. Glory couldn’t get a win like that. But you could. With my endorse-…I mean help. That thief. That crook. She stole my award last week. And you…you can get ahead, Kemal.”

Kemal: “Yeah…well, that worked out well before….”

Gavin: “This time though…I have it one on one!”

Gavin smiles and gives a thumbs up before a wink and then walks off. Kemal watches him leave as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

DURING THE BREAK:

Breakdown opens up backstage, outside of the office where Frank Delatosso and Shaun Cruze were meeting.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. We saw earlier how Shaun Cruze asked to meet with Frank Delatosso. Looks like the meeting has ended.”

Knots: “Two professionals meeting. Isn’t that refreshing?!”

Sharper: “Well…I won’t say anything there…”

We see the door open as Shaun Cruze steps up and turns around. Frank Delatosso steps out with him and extends his hand. Shaun extends back.

Delatosso: “I see where you’re coming from. I can respect it.”

Cruze: “Thank you. I’m just looking to get back to competing. Nothing more than that. And I’m not looking for any special consideration.”

Delatosso: “I may have gotten overzealous. Good luck later tonight.”

The two shake hands as Cruze walks off. Delatosso watches him leave and returns to his office. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

Dexter Grant vs. Damon Cage

“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen show's a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. A few cheers can be heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by Wendell, from Off the Grid, he is The Digital Detoxer, Dexter Grant!”

Wendell eagerly looks up at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around him who just refuse to listen to his message. He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching to the center of the ring and turning his back to the hard cam as he points his thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed. The lights return to normal as Dexter takes the microphone from Jason Phillips. The crowd boos as he turns to the crowd.

Sharper: “Dexter Grant has been a bit more surly after losing in the Shot of Adrenaline.”

Kayl: “He lost some of his platform.”

Knots: “A shame. By the way, make sure you go to SCW on all the social to talk about how we deserve better here in SCW!”

Grant: “And now we enter into a new pit of despair as we stand here in the midst of a potential civil war in the latest attempt to try and draw views to an overwrought craft. I don’t believe for a second CHBK and Frank Delatosso don’t get along. I don’t believe it for a second. This is just a way for them to drive likes and views to their pathetic socials instead of ensuring the top level of competition and an experience that keeps your phones in your pockets and your faces glued to what we’re doing in the ring and-“

“Heart of A Lion” by Kid Cudi echoes throughout the arena. Grant throws his arms up and hands off the microphone. With clips of his early years in SCW and obtaining accolades in Japan playing on the big screen, the cameras zoom to the top of the stage, where Damon Cage steps out from behind the curtain, carrying a bottle of water.

Phillips: “His opponent, hailing from Miami, Florida…he is…Damon! Cage!”

Damon reaches the ring, and downs some water before throwing his head back and his fists into the air, as he spits out the water, earning a reaction from the crowd. He dumps the rest of the water onto his head and face, before beating his chest and roaring. Damon then runs and slides into the ring under the bottom rope, where he goes into one of the corners and turns where Grant runs at him, but Cage sidesteps in. Grant goes into the corner. He turns around and Cage blasts him with a repeated right hands to the jaw. The bell sounds.

Sharper: “Cage entering the ring. Grant going after him and Cage saw it coming!”

Kayl: “And he’s teeing off on the Digital Detoxer!”

Cage continues to nail him with hard rights as the official counts.

Sharper: “Cage sending Grant to the floor. Grant taking a moment.”

Knots: “Trying to reset, but Damon Cage came to rumble.”

Sharper: “And Dexter Grant trying to figure out how to stop him here.”

Grant enters the ring and Cage heads over and Grant rakes the eyes. The crowd boos. Grant then spins him around and into the nearby corner. Cage turns and Grant kicks him in the ribs once and then again and again before leaning in and starting to choke him with his boot.

Grant: “Is this what you’re going to do. Better than last week where you got involved in a match you had no business and want? You with the fat brothel owner?”

Sharper: “And Grant stops Cage again. This time, burying that knee, right into the abdomen.”

Knots: “He’s more all over the place. Grant showing more of an angry streak tonight.”

Sharper: “He’s been part of the Adrenaline for so long. And now, there’s a bit of a lack of focus and now what? Where next?”

Grant turns and as Cage gets up grabs him from behind in a cobra clutch before throwing him down with the Unplugged. He turns and covers Cage.

Cage kicks out. He turns and Grant grabs him and pulls him up, nailing him with a hard right. Cage falls back to the ropes. Grant nails him with a hard right and then grabs his head and hammers away on the head of Cage. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Double knees to the face. Grant could be dazed!”

Kayl: “He may get him!”

Knots: “Cover!”

Grant kicks out. He rolls over and Cage goes for the arm, locking in an armbar. He pulls back as Grant yells out. He starts to move himself, and Cage, to the ropes. Cage keeps the hold on and moves closer and closer before getting to the bottom rope.

Cage gets his shoulder up. Grant rolls off. He then gets up and grabs Cage and pulls him over to the corner. He hits a back elbow and then hits another and another. Grant whips Cage across the ring. Grant runs after and Cage gets a boot up. Grant staggers back and Cage turns and climbs to the middle turnbuckle and goes for a moonsault, but Grant sidesteps and Cage lands on his feet and Grant hits the Unwanted Notification. Cage hits the mat. He turns, half out of it, but Grant steps over him, placing his shin across the throat of Cage and then rolls through into a Disconnect to Reconnect. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Grant locking in the Disconnect to Reconnect!”

Knots: “Cage…what were you thinking with that moonsault?!”

Kayl: “Right now he’s thinking he made a mistake and Grant took advantage!”

Sharper: “Middle of the ring. Grant has it in!”

Cage tries to fight, reaching around, trying to get free or get to the ropes, while Grant pulls down on Cage’s head. Cage struggles for a few moments before starting to tap out. The crowd roars and boos. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via submission, Dexter Grant!”

Sharper: “Cage couldn’t get out. Dexter Grant forcing him to tap out here in St. Louis!”

Knots: “He may not have the focus, but he just got a win against someone who had been on a tear.”

Grant holds on for a moment before letting go. He rolls over and looks at him.

Grant: “Focus on the ring, not the glory. Not the likes. You may have something. You’re welcome!”

Grant pulls away from him and raises his arm. Wendell enters the ring and raises Grant’s arm. Grant smugly stands in the ring before turning and exiting the ring. Wendell follows as Cage holds his jaw, wincing in pain as the scene cuts away.

Amelia Nevado walks out of her locker room and takes a step forward. Luz follows out.

Amelia: “Luz…please…I don’t need someone to make me feel better. That doesn’t help anything.”

Luz: “I’m…I’m just trying to contextualize last week.”

Amelia: “I pinned a stuffed animal for a title. And then I couldn’t even hold onto it.”

Luz: “With that chaos? Sure, pinning WASLEY wasn’t glamorous, but those are the rules of the match! You played to those rules.”

Amelia: “I lowered myself to those rules. I….”

Amelia sighs.

Amelia: “Just…you’ve got the US Title. Focus on that. Focus on Meghan. I….I need to keep thinking.”

Amelia turns and walks off. Deanna then comes out of the locker room and steps forward.

Deanna: “Amelia!”

Amelia ignores her as Luz turns to Deanna.

Luz: “She’s letting it get to her. Some air will help.”

Deanna looks on concerned as Luz returns to her locker room, clearly disappointed. The scene cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Amelia Nevado is shown walking down the hallway. She runs her hand through her hair and takes a few steps as we see Polly Playtime standing in the hallway. Amelia looks up at her.

Polly: “Awww…the mighty has fallen?”

Amelia: “I figured if anyone you’d be understanding.”

Polly: “And I took things into my own hands.”

Amelia: “Was that it? Is that it?”

Polly: “It is. I stopped trying to be what others said I should be and just became. Maybe you need to just step back and look in the mirror. And then ask what you want and how you get it.”

Amelia: “I know what I want to be.”

Polly steps up to her.

Polly: “Then get it. Then again…isn’t that who you’re running from? Maybe some of that is what you’re missing.”

Amelia: “Why are you even-“

Polly: “Maybe a few people you hang out with need some humility. Plus….Glory….Syren…Meghan….Deanna….wouldn’t you all like them to stare up at you, while you’re standing tall?”

Polly walks past Amelia and walks off as Amelia watches her go. She then looks down as we see Amelia see something. She bends over and grabs what appears to be a business card. She looks at it and then walks off.

“Boys Wanna Be Her (Tommie Sunshine’s Brooklyn Fire Retouch)” by Peaches starts up over the arena sound system as the houselights slowly dim. At the 30 second mark, lights start flickering as the beat and rhythm of the song get louder.

~Uh!

Uh, uh, uh, uhhhhhh!

You've got them all by the balls

Causin' waterfalls, stone walls, bar brawls

Common stalls that cause 'em all

To you, they crawl, body sprawl

Smokin' Pall Malls, close call, stand tall

Doll, you make them feel so small (and they love it)~

The SCWtron lights up with the chrome ‘S’ emblem and explodes into shots of Meghan, smacking the taste out Shadow Starr’s mouth with a kick to the jaw, stepping on Ai Mei’s skull, pinning Corey Lazarus one, two three and the last shot of her being her holding one half of the PWA Tag Team Titles, BWF Tag Titles, ICW Tag Titles, IWF tag Titles, CWA Tag titles and with the Revo1 Wrestling tag team title. All kinds of tag titles. It’s her thing. We get shots of her pinning Polly Pingotti, Colleen, and La Pequena Luz. A few more of her hitting Waylon Creek with her finisher and stepping toe to toe with Syren. Her name flashes on the screen, and a small amount of Pyro shoots off as Meghan steps out from behind the curtain followed by her aunt, and overall manager of the Strader clan.

~The boys wanna be her

The girls wanna be her

The boys wanna be her

The girls wanna be her

The boys wanna be her

The girls wanna be her

The boys wanna be her

I wanna be her

Yes I do~

Sharper: “Last week, we saw Meghan Strader involved in the Underground Championship match, winning the title for a brief period, running down and pinning Kimberly Williams. But it’s just another taste. She doesn’t want just a taste. She wants to hold and stand tall as champion.”

Kayl: “And she has a chance to get back the US Title at Retribution. But a lot of people are wondering – the US Title has had its fair share of attention from a lot of people and every other time Luz and Meghan have fought, others have gotten involved.”

Meghan stops and waves at the crowd as she shifts her hips to the right side. She makes her way down to ringside. Meghan finger pistols to the fans on her descent down the ramp. Meghan turns into a stride and hops up onto the apron, and she wipes her boots before stepping into the ring and jumps up to the top turnbuckle as she raises her fist. Vanessa Strader enters the ring with her and the two stand in the ring, listening to the music briefly, only for Meghan to then go to the corner, grabbing a microphone waiting for her on the apron. She turns back to the middle of the ring and looks around.

Meghan: “So after everything these last few weeks, we come to this…Retribution!”

Meghan walks around the ring.

Meghan: “Round one, Under Attack. You and I faced in this ring, Luz. And while I thought when that night was over, I outlasted you, I come to find out that Gavin Taylor’s involvement as he tried to escape accountability was the difference maker. I was US Champion, but hadn’t proved anything.”

Meghan continues to walk around the ring.

Meghan: “Round two, Shattered Reality. It wasn’t just you and I, Luz. But we had David Striker, Kemal Yilmaz….and Gavin Taylor. And when it came to it, you and I maybe being able to settle something, you won the US Championship back.”

Meghan looks up.

Meghan: “Not by pinning me, but pinning Gavin.”

Meghan pauses.

Meghan: “Now I don’t fault you there because the point when we come into this ring is to win and trust me, who wouldn’t want to shut Gavin Taylor up. But…that also didn’t prove anything.”

Meghan continues to speak as she returns to walking around the ring.

Meghan: “Then, Fatal Fortunes, I had hope fate would smile down on me, but it didn’t. Not in Japan, and not in my hometown of London, Ontario. Although I beat another champion. Another champion with my name underlined in victory, and yet I still was not holding gold, having felt like I had that moment.”

Meghan then looks at the camera.

Meghan: “And while I was Underground Champion for a moment last week, that’s not quite good enough. But at Retribution, Luz, you and I will have a chance to finally prove something. US Title on the line. One more time. One on one.”

The crowd roars. “Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz steps out from the back, SCW United States Championship over her shoulder. Meghna turns to the entrance way.

Sharper: “There’s the other half of this US Championship match at Retribution.”

Knots: “Meghan just pointing out facts so far. Did she need to interrupt?”

Luz walks down the rampway to the ring. Meghan watches her as does Vanessa as Luz walks around the ring. She walks over to Phillips and asks for a microphone. Phillips hands her one and Luz turns and goes to the ringsteps. She walks up them and onto the apron. She enters the ring and then steps forward. Meghan walks over to her. Luz doesn’t hesitate to walk up to her. The crowd roars as the two stars stand across from one another. The music fades out.

Luz: “Don’t worry. I’m not here to rain on any of your parade. I’m not here to disagree with much of what you said. You know I’m not that kind of person. I am, however, happy we’re going to get to face each other one more time, winner take all, and hopefully finally prove that something that keeps lacking in our matches.”

Meghan: “Well Luz…if we’re on the same page, then you also know what else I’m thinking and that’s that we need to make sure the third time is the charm and this time, in not my London, but in your wife’s London…we don’t have any doubt.”

Luz: “Agreed.”

Meghan: “Because I don’t know Gavin as a safety net coming and getting involved as he’s never said he’s done coming after this title. We’ve already seen him going after his old buddies to go after Syren. And while I have no love lost for Syren, I do think Gavin will be in the fight of his life.”

Luz: “No disagreements yet. And it’s why I’ll say what you’re thinking. We need to make sure this is one on one.”

Meghan: “Exactly. And I have one solution….because I have the crew of the Cowgirls from Hell. They’re willing to come and run security. But you and I both know if someone starts something, and we go to war….I don’t back down.”

Luz: “And I wouldn’t either. And this time, we need to make sure we decide it in the ring. But I don’t think that solves anything. We already know if Gavin, or others, want to make their name on you or I or this title…we need something more. I know your Cowgirls will go to war, but I also don’t know if war helps anything.”

“This is How A Heart Breaks” then starts to play as the crowd cheers. A few moments pass before CHBK walks out from the back, microphone in his hand. He holds his hand up as the crowd looks on and his music fades out.

Knots: “Going to have a show-long chaos-ridden dumpster fire to deal with this?!”

Kayl: “They just said they don’t want a war and this is one on one.”

Knots: “Squid Game style!”

CHBK: “Meghan, Luz…sorry to interrupt, but I think I have a solution to your problem. Because I agree with both of you too….this deserves a decisive and uncontroversial ending. Whoever leaves Retribution should know they’ve proven themselves to walk out champion in London, that night.”

The crowd looks on as CHBK pauses.

CHBK: “Meghan…your Cowgirls won’t be needed for security. I don’t think that would help, even if I know they’d get the job done one way or another. But there is something else I can offer…”

CHBK pauses, looking around.

CHBK: “The Thunderdome!”

The crowd erupts. Meghan just smirks as she turns to Luz. Luz nods.

CHBK: “Both of you enter…only one of you leaves as champion. And we settle it at Retribution!”

The crowd roars as “This is How A Heart Breaks” plays throughout the arena again.

Sharper: “The Thunderdome returns at Retribution! And not to ensure revenge, but to ensure finality!”

Knots: “And what’s that going to cost!”

Kayl: “For a clear decision – that’s what we should invest in in SCW. To find out, no matter what, who is the best for the US Championship!”

Luz and Meghan keep their eyes on one another as CHBK’s music plays throughout the arena as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see La Pequena Luz walking down one of the hallways. A voice stops her.

???: “Hey!”

La Pequena Luz stops and turns, sliding the US title down to her hand to be safe. Asher Hayes walks over to her, strutting almost.

Hayes: “Luuuuuzzzz! Easy there. Just relax. You don’t need to clock ole me. We used to fight together to defeat the evil that was Jordan.”

Luz: “What do you want, Asher?”

Hayes: “Good luck in the Thunderdome.”

Luz: “That’s it-“

Hayes: “Not quite. See, I’m here with a preposition-“

Luz: “Asher…I’m married-“

Hayes: “Jesus! Not like that. Although…nah. Just that Cidnay is on his way out and we’re dusting off the A/C Unit gear, making sure that the freon is running well, and looking to be cooler than anyone and well, we want to go out on top.”

Luz: “Asher, I don’t-“

Hayes: “And we think facing the Light in the Darkness given that after we hung it up after dominating for so long, you and Amelia were the standard…we want to see if we can still hang. And well-“

Luz: “Amelia and I are focused on other things.”

Hayes: “That’s the beauty. One night only. Next week. It’s a short-time offer.”

Luz: “I’m not sure if Amelia would be up for it-“

Hayes: “Think of it. You two win, she gets her confidence back. Cid’s almost broken in two. We’re literally holding him together with duct tape. Come on…you know you wanna….”

Before Luz can say anything, Hayes wraps his arm around her.

Hayes: “I’ll go tell the boss.”

Hayes turns and heads off as Luz goes to stop him, but then relents. She then sighs and looks around before the scene cuts away.

Syren vs. Kemal Yilmaz

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering. The SCW World Championship is around her waist.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, the SCW World Champion, she is Syren!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched. Syren then steps up. Syren takes off her ring jacket before turning and handing it off to a crew member. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down. She hands off her title.

Sharper: “Syren seems to be on the collision course with Gavin Taylor and Gavin hoping Kemal Yilmaz steps up and helps him out.”

Kayl: “Still can’t believe Kemal is willing to do Gavin’s bidding. Then again, you want to get ahead as you can and there’s a lot of you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours.”

“Wasteland” by Pentagram, aka Mezarkabul, plays over the sound system as Kemal, wearing the black and red venom mask comes through the curtain, holding up his Turkey flag, wearing Turkey flame flag shorts with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his shorts, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans.

Phillips: “From Istanbul, Turkey, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is The Turkish Acid, Kemal Yilmaz!”

He jumps up to the ring and gets underneath the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he raises his fist in the air, looking at the crowd with Ginny applauding Kemal before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end of the corner of looking at his opponent, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Kemal Yilmaz has been angling for an ultimate submission match against Glory Braddock. But right now, he could be the most important person if he does what Gavin Taylor wants him to do against the World Champion.”

Knots: “And after Syren and Ravyn and Lexy, the latter two who were illegally in the ring, destroyed Gavin’s big moment last week, maybe she deserves a humbling!”

The bell sounds. Kemal steps out and runs at Syren. Syren ducks a clothesline attempt as Kemal jumps up and stops at the corner. He turns around and Syren steps up and drills him with a forearm shot and then another and another. She then grabs Kemal and pulls him out and then snapmares him over and grabs the arm. Kemal starts to get up, wincing in pain. He then reaches around and somersaults forward before nipping up and then hitting a fireman’s carry, but Syren flips through to her feet. Kemal gets up as Syren runs into the ropes. She bounces off and Kemal goes for a back drop, but Syren turns and backflips down his back. Kemal turns around and Syren hits a dropkick. Kemal hits the mat. Syren goes for the pin.

2!

Kemal kicks out and moves to the ropes. He gets up and looks at Syren and runs at her. Syren sidesteps in and throws him through the ropes to the floor.

Sharper: “Kemal just a bit too aggressive. Sent to the floor by Syren!”

Knots: “Come on Yilmaz. Focus!”

Sharper: “And here comes the World Champion!”

Kemal looks up. (1) He turns as Syren grabs the top rope and vaults herself over. He dodges out of the way. (2) Syren lands on her feet. (1) Kemal turns and Syren nails him with a forearm shot to the jaw and then another before grabbing him and driving him face first into the ring apron. (2) Kemal staggers and Syren spins him around and into the ring. (3) Syren slides in and Kemal gets up and dives onto her and clubs her in the back. He gets up and drives his elbow into the back of Syren’s head. He then grabs her and pulls her up before then double underhooking her and suplexing her over. He goes for the pin.

1!

2!

Syren kicks out. Syren rolls over and starts to get up. She moves to the ropes and Kemal steps up and knees her in the ribs. He knees her again and again, causing her to practically sit on the middle rope. Kemal then grabs her and lifts her up before twisting around and slamming her to the mat with a takedown. He then stays on her in a mount and nails her with a couple of overhead blows as Syren covers up.

Sharper: “That’s MMA background. Kemal Yilmaz wanted to be an MMA fighter back in the day. Turned to professional wrestling and now just pummelling the World Champion.”

Knots: “He keeps this up, that would satisfy what Gavin Taylor wants!”

Kemal gets a few more blows in before Syren gets her legs up and manages to catch the arm of Yilmaz and pushes him over and starts to move into a crossface position. Kemal starts to move to the ropes and grabs the bottom rope.

Syren lets go and rolls back. Kemal starts to get up. He then shakes out his arm and runs at Syren, but Syren jumps up and takes Kemal down with the Syren’s Song. She turns and hooks the leg.

2!

Kemal kicks out. Syren rolls off. Kemal moves to the corner. Syren follows up and hits the Face Lift. Kemal stumbles out and Syren runs out and hits a bulldog. She rolls him over again for the pin.

2!

Kemal kicks out again. He turns and moves to the corner. Syren heads over and grabs him and nails him with a couple of hard rights before Kemal lets out a yell, lifting Syren up and hitting a running tackle, taking her down. Syren rolls over as the crowd boos. Kemal starts to get up and Syren then gets up and Kemal jumps up and locks in a guillotine choke. He smiles as he does and Syren drops down to her knees. Kemal pulls back as the official checks on her.

Knots: “Yes!”

Sharper: “Guillotine choke! Kemal has it in and deep!”

Kayl: “And the size advantage is an issue for the champion. Yilmaz knows he’s got something here.”

Syren grimaces as Kemal keeps pulling back. She reaches around, trying to find a way to slip out as Kemal moves to the leg scissors to keep Syren hooked. Syren struggles as the official checks on her. She keeps fighting and manages to move her legs enough to drag her, and Kemal, closer and closer to the ropes. She fights and fights before getting there, hooking the bottom rope.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Kemal lets go and rolls off. Syren rolls to the apron. She then starts to get up, trying to get her breath back. Kemal then runs at her and hits a running superman punch, knocking Syren off the apron and to the floor. (1)

Sharper: “Kemal Yilmaz with a hard right hand. Syren to the floor!”

Knots: “Another hard landing and Yilmaz is making Syren re-enact what things are like in a car crash!”

Syren rolls over and slowly gets up. (2) Kemal pushes past the official and drops down to the floor. (1) He comes over to Syren and grabs her and runs her into the barricade. Syren falls to a knee. (2) Kemal then hoists her up and throws her chest first into the barricade. (3) Syren falls back. She starts to get up. (4) Kemal grabs her and clubs her in the back once and then again before Syren elbows him in the ribs. (5) She elbows him again. She then jumps up to the apron and hits a standing moonsault off the apron onto Kemal! (6)

Sharper: “Off the apron! Syren takes down Yilmaz!”

Kayl: “Syren! The count’s still going!”

Syren looks up and starts to get up. She moves to the ring, but Yilmaz grabs her leg. (7) She turns and goes to stomp him and Yilmaz blocks her before pushing her back. Yilmaz starts to get up. (8) She turns and runs at Yilmaz and Yilmaz grabs her and throws her face first into the steel steps. She goes over them and down to the floor in a thud. (9) The crowd ohs as Yilmaz turns and rolls into the ring. He then smiles as he gets up and holds his arm up, looking at the official. (10) The referee calls for the bell and the bell sounds as the crowd boos.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via countout, Kemal Yilmaz!”

Sharper: “And Kemal Yilmaz has beaten Syren!”

Knots: “Yes! And Syren is down!”

Sharper: “Syren is down. And Kemal Yilmaz is beaming!”

Kemal stands tall, holding his arm up as the crowd boos. We cut to Syren who rolls over, wincing, revealing the stairs left a gash in her head. Blood starts to come down her forehead. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Syren cut open.”

Kayl: “Caught the corner of the steel steps! And Syren damaged. That’s for sure.”

Knots: “Yilmaz coming through here tonight!”

Yilmaz continues to celebrate in the ring as the official now heads to the floor to check on Syren as she rolls over, blood dripping onto the mats as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we open up to see Syren in the trainer’s room. We see the head trainer over her.

Trainer: “We’re going to need to do some stitches.”

Just then, the opening notes to “Drive Me Crazy” by Britney Spears start to play, before repeating over and over again.

Syren: “Yeah…just…”

Trainer: “Okay, just sit still….is that yours?”

Syren: “You brought my bag?”

Trainer: “In case we need to get you to the ambulance. Yeah…”

Syren: “My phone. Lexy…just…here…”

The trainer hands her the phone and Syren mutes it. She then winces as the trainer has to lay back down.

Trainer: “This will hurt a bit.”

Syren: “Yeah…I know….”

The scene cuts away.

The scene opens up at ringside as we see Adam Sharper, Jonathan Knots and Devon Kayl at the announce position.

Sharper: “Welcome back to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and Devon Kayl and it’s been a noteworthy night so far. We’ve been seeing a lot of people clearing the air and in other cases, we’re seeing tensions bubbling to the surface. Syren there…injured, a deep gash from going into the steel steps thanks to Kemal Yilmaz and Yilmaz shocking us by defeating Syren.”

Kayl: “And making good on what Gavin Taylor wanted.”

Sharper: “Just a sign of how things are bubbling over.”

Knots: “Thank God next week we’re at spring break. Some people here need to take a load off.”

Kayl: “Or that could be the worst option for many. Amelia Nevado is one. Can she even disconnect.”

Sharper: “We will see what may happen next week, still plenty to come tonight and well…”

The crowd roars as we see Gina and Gia Glimmer walking through the crowd. They then step through a space by the timekeeper’s table and walk over to the announce table and Gia rubs herself on Jonathan Knots as he looks around.

Knots: “Wha….wait a minute…”

Gia, we assume, smirks as Gina, we also assume, reveals she has grabbed a microphone from the timekeeper’s table.

Gina (we assume): “What’s wrong Jon…don’t like the added attention. Didn’t seem to have a problem wanting to get to know us in KABLAMia back in November.”

Gia then grabs Devon Kayl’s headset and sits on the table, leaning forward, her cleavage only a short distance from Devon’s face. Devon turns away.

Gia (we assume): “Don’t worry to the people in the back. It’s past watershed, right? Now the adults can talk?”

Gina: “You may want to put her up over the house audio, but that’s up to the people in the back. Maybe some of them don’t care for us.”

Gia: “Especially as we just got confirmation of our own rematch is going through at Retribution earlier tonight.”

The crowd roars.

Gina: “That’s right, Jon. You can see us live at Retribution. All of you too. As we see whether Selena and Xander can do it again.”

Gia: “But I thought they were the two best. I thought this was about disrespect. They didn’t care for us. But how about that…one night…and Selena throws a tantrum!”

Gina now sits on Knots’s lap.

Gina: “No matter why it took some extra time, Selena Frost better refocus. If Hollywood can get under her skin, claiming they don’t deserve it, we already know what Lord Frost has to think about us. And our tag team record is sterling compared to yours and Xanders now.”

Gia: “Xander even forcing this. I wonder what really is going on. Hmmm, Selena?  Don’t think we didn’t notice. Taking extra risks. Emotions on your sleeve. Selena would never throw a match. She did last week.”

Gina: “What else would she never do? Then again, can she keep it together against us? And what about Xander?”

Gina takes her time and steps off of Jon before glancing back.

Gina: “Some people may get excited thinking about what may happen in round two.”

Gia: “But we don’t stay down. And we don’t just sit around and wait.”

Gina: “Plus….Vision…Shinigami again…Hollywood….they all want their shot. We’ve beaten them all. We still are the team to beat.”

Gia: “Then again, Gina…Xander may be the more honourable of the two. Selena Frost may just disqualify herself. Disrespect us. Because you know….respect is so important!”

Gia rolls off the table and stand next to the table.

Gina: “Please…winning is. And we didn’t at A Taste of Things to Come. Well we didn’t like the taste. And we don’t like the taste of what may be coming up if Selena continues to grow more erratic. So…”

Gia: “So…”

Gina: “We’ve got our rematch. But we want something else….a guarantee. We think A Taste of Things to Come was a fluke. And if Selena or Xander get themselves disqualified…we walk out the World Tag Team Champions!”

Gia: “Sounds like a good deal. And before anyone asks….oh no, we’re not using Gina’s trios contract.”

Gina: “I have plans.”

Gia then turns and walks over to Jonathan Knots and leans over.

Gia: “I think someone at least got the message.”

Gina then laughs as she puts the microphone down as Gia takes off Devon’s headset. The two then start to walk around the ring.

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters…they have their rematch. One more time, Retribution….Selena and Xander to defend against the Glimmers.”

Knots: “Uh…yeah….”

Kayl, now with his headset back on, responds.

Kayl: “But will they get their added stipulation and frankly, after last week, if Selena didn’t think Hollywood deserved it, we know she always talked down to the Glimmers…”

Sharper: “We’ve seen her even being more and more egotistical than before. She thinks so much is beneath her. She’s almost spiralling there.”

Kayl: “Almost like she’s not the same person she was as she just continues to embrace the persona of the most hated person in SCW….Hey, Jon, you okay? Quiet over there.”

Knots: “Yeah! Great. Totally great!”

Knots clears his throat as we watch the Glimmers walk up the rampway, smirking, as the scene cuts away.

Asher Hayes is shown walking out of the office of CHBK, phone in hand, and on speakerphone. We hear the other end pick up, revealing it to be Cid Turner.

Cid: “Hey…what’s up-“

Hayes: “Shhh! I got news. They’re going for it. Get your trunks, get your gear, we’re goin’ to spring break. It’s gonna be lit, and we’re taking on Light in the Darkness!”

Cid: “Really? But…like…I wasn’t sure-“

Hayes: “He went for it. Says you deserve the right way out.”

Cid: “So uh…I better get going. I probably shouldn’t bring Syd though….”

Hayes: “Like it will be Spring Break and…”

Cid: “Yeah, probably best.”

Hayes: “Means we can party, broseph. And we’ll do it by making sure people know the tag teams in SCW aren’t quite at our level.”

Cid: “Okay, I better…I better get things together.”

Hayes: “Damn right!”

Hayes then hangs up before Cid can respond.

Hayes: “Operation A/C Unit back in business! Woooo!”

Hayes walks past the camera as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Jessica Winters in the backstage area.

Winters: “Welcome back to Breakdown. After the Glimmer Sisters made their statement here, I’m trying to see if I can get a word with Selena Frost for a reaction. It seems they are particularly concerned about her actions…”

Jessica stops and looks up as Xander Valentine walks over to her.

Xander: “We all should be concerned about her actions. Then again, I have no problem with the demand of the Glimmer Sisters.”

Jessica: “But after last week, when Hollywood won by disqualification. When Selena used the Tag Team Title belt to attack them. We’ve never seen her just so explicitly throw a match.”

Xander: “I know. But there were few stakes. And Hollywood…they got their opportunities because they tried to be opportunists. And now, now they have some credibility. And Selena needs to decide whether the Glimmer Sisters will have credibility in their claims that our victory was a fluke.”

Jessica: “They’ve been very good in the ring though. They could defeat you-“

Xander: “And if they pin us, at least I can respect that. But as I said a couple of weeks ago, this team is my focus. I will not be giving up on it, no matter what Selena may want. Little does she know, my being here is the only thing preventing her from losing it all.”

Just then, the door nearby opens and we see Selena Frost storm out from the room, a folded up paper in her hand, crumpled in her fist. She steps past Xander.

Winters: “Selena, can I-“

Xander turns and lunges for her and Selena spins out and turns and hits a spin kick to his ribs. Xander stumbles back, grimacing.

Selena: “Touch me again and I’ll make sure I kick you so hard you won’t recognize your own daughter.”

Winters: “Selena, can I get a reaction about-“

Selena turns and heads off as Xander stands up and looks at her. He then shakes his head as the scene cuts away.

Scarlett Carsons vs. Chase Upshaw

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”

“United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama,
Haiti, Jamaica, Peru,
Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean,
Greenland, El Salvador, too.”

“Nations of the World” by Rob Paulson plays. Chase Upshaw makes his way onto the stage shouting and cursing as loud as he can. The camera and microphones catch some of the curse words, causing the networks to bleep him out.

“Puerto Rico, Colombia, Venezuela,
Honduras, Guyana, and still,
Guatemala, Bolivia, then Argentina,
And Ecuador, Chile, Brazil.”

Chase starts to march his way down to the ring, flipping off a few fans along the way and mocking their complete and total lack of Geography knowledge.

Phillips: “Introducing first, from Durham, North Carolina... Chase Upshaw!”

“Costa Rica, Belize, Nicaragua, Bermuda,
Bahamas, Tobago, San Juan,
Paraguay, Uruguay, Suriname,
And French Guiana, Barbados, and Guam.”

Chase Upshaw slides into the ring and prepares for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Chase Upshaw made an effort in last week's Underground Title turmoil, but he was unsuccessful in getting a taste of championship gold.”

Kayl: “I wonder if he even knew where he was last week half the time, or if he knows what awaits him tonight.”

Knots: “If he doesn't, I'm sure he'll find out very shortly.”

The arena goes dark without warning.

Not a fade.
A hard kill—sound, light, breath—all of it ripped out at once.

For a heartbeat, there is nothing.

Then—

A low church bell tolls through the darkness.

Clang.

A single white spotlight snaps on at the top of the ramp, cutting through thick blue fog that pours outward like breath in winter. The opening whisper of SANCTIFY ME crawls in beneath it—soft, intimate, wrong—Maria Brink’s voice sounding less like a singer and more like a confession caught on tape.

The tron doesn’t play video.

It plays stained glass.

Cracked, fractured imagery of saints and sinners bleeding into one another. Faces half-formed. Halos broken. Wings burned black at the edges. The glass pulses faintly in time with the song’s heartbeat.

As the first heavy note hits—

The fog explodes.

Scarlett Carsons steps forward through it, already in motion, already claimed by the light.

She doesn’t pose.
She doesn’t acknowledge the crowd.

Her head is bowed—not in humility, but in judgment.

A long black coat drapes from her shoulders like funeral cloth, the inside lined deep crimson. Bare hands. No theatrics. No wasted movement. Each step down the ramp is deliberate, measured, like she’s walking toward an altar she plans to burn down.

Blue strobes flash once—just enough to catch her eyes as she lifts her head.

They don’t scan the crowd.

They pass through it.

When the chorus hits—SANCTIFY ME—the lights snap blood-red, flooding the arena as if the room itself has been baptized in something unholy. The fog behind her swirls upward now, forming a silhouette that almost looks like wings before tearing itself apart.

Phillips: “His opponent, hailing from The Shadows of Westminster, London, England... Scarlett Carsons!”

Scarlett stops halfway down the ramp.

Slowly, she opens her coat.

No taunt.
No gesture.

Just revelation.

The coat falls to the steel with a dull, final thud, left behind like a discarded skin. She rolls her shoulders once, loosening them, eyes never leaving the ring.

The music drops back into that haunting refrain as she resumes her walk.

At ringside, she doesn’t slide in.

She climbs the steps.

Each step echoes.

She wipes her boots on the apron—not for respect, but ritual—then steps between the ropes and stands dead center, head tilted back as the final sanctify me drags out into distortion.

The lights snap back to black.

One last white spotlight finds her—

And then it dies.

When the arena lights return, Scarlett Carsons is already in her corner.

Waiting.

Like the sin you thought you buried.

Knots: “Can we just not have people acting all spooky and wasting time with overly elaborate entrances they haven't earned yet?”

Kayl: “Are you saying that because you're just as close to wetting yourself as Upshaw probably is?”

Sharper: “Scarlett Carsons debuted two weeks ago with a statement victory over Crystal Zdunich, and considering Retribution in about two weeks' time will be in her hometown of London, I'm sure Scarlett would love to make another statement here tonight to set herself up to put on a show in front of her fellow countrymen.”

Referee Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell as Scarlett stares down Upshaw. Upshaw, looking unfazed, just gets right in Scarlett’s face.

Upshaw: “You think you’re so clever, trying to scare me? I bet you don’t even know the capital of this state, just like all these idiots who think-”

Scarlett takes a step back before silencing Upshaw with a thrust kick to the jaw! Upshaw scrambles to his feet, rubbing his jawline, but Scarlett grabs his arm and twists into an arm wringer, causing him to yell out in pain. Scarlett wrenches his arm again before pulling him into a front facelock and driving him into the mat with a spike DDT! She looks down at him for a moment before she grabs his legs and ties them up with a leg hook cloverleaf, sitting on his back and causing him to flail about trying to find the ropes. Jennifer Cassidy checks in with him, but he yells out his refusal to submit and tries crawling towards the ropes. After a moment, though, Scarlett lets go, shaking her head as she looks down at Upshaw, deciding that she’s only begun to torture him.

Sharper: “Scarlett Carsons has been all over Chase Upshaw right from the get-go here.”

Kayl: “I’ll give him credit for getting right in her face at the start, but that probably wasn’t his brightest move.”

Knots: “To be fair, she never did answer his question!”

Upshaw slowly pulls himself up with help from the ropes, trying to get his bearings. He sees that Scarlett has relocated to one of the corners, watching him. He rushes her, leaping for a Russian Knee Strike, but Scarlett sidesteps and his knee only connects with the top turnbuckle! Upshaw groans in pain and clutches at his knee, and as he turns, Scarlett runs in and hits her own corner running knee strike! Upshaw slumps into a seated position as Scarlett takes a few steps back before rushing in and connecting with the Nightmare Make Believe! Scarlett hauls Upshaw to his feet and lifts him up onto the top turnbuckle, facing the crowd. She steps out onto the apron and climbs up to the second turnbuckle, where she begins tying their legs together before she shoves him backwards and falls herself, trapping Upshaw’s legs over the top rope and turnbuckle with The Upside Down!

Sharper: “Well, we all know where Upshaw is right now! She calls this the Upside Down!”

Knots: “I call it illegal! Come on ref, save Upshaw and maybe he’ll give you a passing grade when you go back to referee school!”

Kayl: “Funny how subjective you can be when it comes to what is and isn’t legal, Jon…”

Jennifer Cassidy does proceed to count for a break considering the use of the ropes.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Scarlett untangles their legs and releases the hold, flipping to land in a seated position on the apron as Upshaw falls to the mat, clutching at his legs. Scarlett decides that maybe Upshaw has suffered enough and it’s time to put him out of his misery as she pulls herself up and starts to climb to the top turnbuckle, waiting for Upshaw to rise. He does, but then he suddenly finds a burst of energy and gets to his feet before taking Scarlett’s leg out from under her with a South African Superkick, sending her flipping to the mat in a bad landing! He falls to the mat, clutching at his leg again.

Sharper: “Upshaw, somehow finding a burst of adrenaline as he superkicks Scarlett’s leg out from under her and saves himself from whatever she had planned!”

Kayl: “His track record may not be the greatest, but he can be fairly crafty when push comes to shove!”

Knots: “Well right now he needs to stamp a big ol’ F on Scarlett’s results while he’s got the chance!”

Scarlett pulls herself to her feet and Upshaw moves in, stunning her with a few european uppercuts. He nods to himself, as if feeling the momentum, before he runs and springboards off the middle rope, looking for the Arctic Circle Spin Kick, but Scarlett intercepts him in midair with the GODMODE! Scarlett whips her hair back as she just stares down at Upshaw for a moment before hauling him to his feet, hooking him before driving him into the mat with the G.P.T! Wanting to really put the exclamation point on things, she grabs his head once more before pulling him back into the Sanctify! Upshaw only lasts about a moment before he taps out! Jennifer Cassidy calls for the bell as "SANCTIFY ME" hits the speakers again. Scarlett maintains the hold for a few moments longer until Jennifer Cassidy shakes her shoulder, demanding the break, which is when she finally lets go and Upshaw’s lifeless body drops to the mat.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, as a result of a submission… Scarlett Carsons!”

Sharper: “Chase Upshaw tried to put up a fight near the end there, but flew right into what Scarlett calls the GODMODE. The Gun Powder Treason followed up by that Sanctify submission hold, and that’s all she wrote for Upshaw here tonight.”

Kayl: “Another very impressive showing for this woman, and there could be big things on the horizon for her.”

Knots: “She’s been impressive, alright, but I say she needs a real test before we can really start judging her. She still failed Upshaw’s geography test here tonight, let’s not forget that! Never answered what the capital of Missouri is!”

Jennifer Cassidy raises Scarlett’s hand in victory as she rises, her gaze slowly turning down to Upshaw laying on the mat. She steps over his body before climbing out of the ring and heading to the back, her work done for the night as Jennifer Cassidy checks on Upshaw.

Sharper: “Let’s now go backstage where Angelica Jones is with Destiny Page. Destiny?”

Backstage, the scene opens to show Destiny Page with Angelica Jones.

Destiny: “Thank you Adam. I’m here with Angelica Jones and I wanted to follow up on a comment CHBK made earlier tonight. He mentioned he extended a new contract to Kimberly William. But Kim has stated on social media that there are certain terms she would need to stay. You’ve been guiding her and can you offer something here.”

Angelica: “More that it’s clear that some people here don’t…understand her…don’t appreciate her, despite her obvious talents. No matter what anyone may insinuate, and I want to make this clear, the Jones family is not in any way ashamed for Kim. We couldn’t be prouder. But ultimately, she always had the confidence, despite her eccentricities, she’d get what she’d deserve. That may be in doubt-“

???: “Have you ever thought that may just be fate finally ending people’s blindness towards her.”

Just then, Clyde Sutter walks into the scene. Angelica turns to her.

Angelica: “I don’t think Kim believes in fate.”

Sutter: “Shame. Doesn’t matter if she does or not…sometimes people have no control over what happens to them.”

Angelica: “We didn’t need your intervention.”

Sutter: “Someone else thought you did.”

Angelica: “Well how about all of you focus on getting back on track…Or is fate not smiling on all of you?”

Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan then appear in the scene. Angelica turns to them and watches them. The trio walk past as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

We return to Breakdown and see Angelica Jones speaking with Glory Braddock backstage.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. You see Angelica Jones talking to Glory Braddock. The two sharing a locker room, but talking outside of it. We know Kim is here.”

Kayl: “I’m thinking more about how Melinda Braddock seems to be helping send messages for some people. We don’t need to think long about who.”

Knots: “And what’s the problem with that? People need to be paid!”

Sharper: “Then what does that have to do with fate?!”

The scene cuts away.

Oskar Theron vs. Colleen MacDonald

SCW Television Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Television Championship!”

Ride The Lightning by Metallica plays over the sound system as Oskar walks through the curtain, holding up his Norwegian flag, wearing Norway flame lightning bolt flag trousers with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his trousers, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, using the lightning bolt signals.

Phillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab and representing the European Fiery Nation, from Oslo, Norway, he is... Oskar Theron!”

He walks to the ring before sliding under the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he goes on the turnbuckle to do his lightning bolt sign, with Ginny applauding Oskar before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the stage, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Oskar Theron has been vocal for quite some time about wanting more opportunities to compete, almost feeling like he's been getting lost in the shuffle compared to the rest of the European Fiery Nation.”

Knots: “Well, all he has to do is win tonight, and he'll get plenty of screen time for the foreseeable future! Problem solved!”

Kayl: “He certainly gave it a good try last week being part of that turmoil over the Underground Title, but he came away from it without a single title reign to his name. Tonight, he's hoping to have better luck winning a title that's just as grueling for entirely different reasons.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear and having the SCW Television Title belt around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Orderville, Utah, she is the SCW Television Champion... Colleen MacDonald!”

She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, removing the title from around her waist and handing it to referee Jennifer Cassidy to hold up as she begins warming up before the bell rings. The Television Title logo flashes across the screen.

Sharper: “On the subject of that Underground Title turmoil last week, Colleen was not a part of it despite being a former Underground Champion in her own right. If anything, she's been fairly vocal about the title being put up for grabs in such a chaotic environment after she spent months trying to bring some order to the chaos.”

Knots: “If she had such an issue with it, then she should've helped Polly do the right thing and there wouldn't be any more chaos! But nooooo... she had to just sit on her ass and do nothing! Some friend.”

Kayl: “You're assuming an awful lot about wherever things stand between Polly and Colleen, Jon. Regardless, Colleen's focus tonight is on retaining the Television Title over a very hungry Oskar.”

Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell, and Oskar immediately bursts out of his corner and rushes Colleen! She ducks a clothesline attempt, turning and blasting Oskar with a right hand that backs him into the corner! Colleen starts laying into him with right hands as Jennifer Cassidy starts to count for a break.

1!

2!

Colleen starts to back off, but Oskar suddenly knees her in the gut before spinning her into the corner, where he becomes the one laying into her with right hands. Jennifer Cassidy starts counting for a break again.

2!

3!

4!

Oskar stops and glares at her, saying something to her the camera isn’t able to catch. He grabs Colleen’s arm and irish whips her across the ring, her back slamming into the opposite turnbuckles. He charges in after her, but Colleen suddenly bursts out of the corner and catches him with a running crossbody! She hooks the leg.

1!

2!

Oskar kicks out!

Sharper: “This has been a back-and-forth brawl right from the get-go.”

Kayl: “Oskar trying to start this match off fast and furious, but Colleen has been weathering the storm for the most part.”

Knots: “This is what happens when you find yourself facing someone far hungrier than you!”

Colleen pulls Oskar to his feet and blasts him with another right hand, sending him stumbling back towards the ropes. She lays into him with a couple of forearm strikes to the face before irish whipping him across the ring. He rebounds and she lowers her head for a back body drop, but she telegraphs it too early and Oskar counters by swinging a kick up into her chest! Colleen pops up and stumbles back a few steps before Oskar rushes her again with full control of his own momentum this time. Colleen sidesteps him and sends him into the ropes, but Oskar springboards off the second rope and twists into a springboard european uppercut! He glances at the downed Colleen before running for the ropes again and springboarding off into a moonsault this time! Oskar hooks the leg for the cover.

1!

2!

Colleen kicks out!

Sharper: “Colleen telegraphing that back body drop a bit and Oskar now taking advantage.”

Knots: “Pretty sure Polly wouldn’t have made a mistake like that.”

Kayl: “Will you shut up about Polly, Jon? Unless I entered another dimension in the past few minutes, she’s not even in this match!”

Oskar glances at referee Jennifer Cassidy, who confirms her two count, before he huffs and backs off, motioning  for Colleen to get to her feet. As she does, he runs off the ropes and Colleen catches him for a tilt-a-whirl, but he uses the momentum to turn it into a headscissors before trying to convert it into a DDT, but Colleen manages to throw him off! Oskar lands on his feet and backs against the ropes. Colleen rushes him, but he catches her with a kick to the face and uses the momentum to backflip over the top rope and out onto the apron! As Colleen staggers away, Oskar springboards off the top rope, looking for a springboard clothesline, but Colleen suddenly spears him out of midair! Colleen drags him closer to the center of the ring before going for the cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Oskar gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Colleen intercepting Oskar in midair and only able to get two off that huge spear!”

Knots: “If there’s one thing I’ll give the EFN members, it’s that they’re persistent as all hell.”

Kayl: “Oskar’s going to need something to turn the tide, though, because Colleen’s got him in a bad way right now.”

Colleen pulls Oskar to his feet and drags him over to the nearest corner, throwing him in before she starts thrusting her shoulder into his gut a few times to drive the wind out of him. Oskar ends up slumping into a seated position in the corner, and Colleen starts backing up, measuring him. She charges in, looking for The Facewarmer, but Oskar manages to move and Colleen crashes into the turnbuckles! She staggers out, clutching at her back as Oskar pulls himself to his feet, taking a moment to get his bearings. He charges at Colleen, who tries to cut him off with a clothesline, but he ducks it and springboards off the middle turnbuckle before falling back and catching Colleen with the Lightning Bolt Shocker! He rolls Colleen over and goes for the cover, hooking the leg and nodding along with Jennifer Cassidy’s count.

1!

2!

Colleen gets a shoulder up! The fans roar as Oskar looks shocked, even turning to look at Ginny who’s just as stunned as he is.

Sharper: “Lightning Bolt Shocker only gets two! Colleen’s not down for the count just yet!”

Knots: “Oskar got his moment to turn the tide, but now he needs to stay on her!”

Oskar goes from stunned to furious as he grabs Colleen and hauls her back to her feet. He hooks her for the Lightning Bolt Zap, but Colleen starts to elbow him in the side of the head to block it! He tries to hold on, weathering her strikes as he moves to try and hit the move anyway, but one good strike to the ear from Colleen manages to free herself! He stumbles towards the nearest corner, shaking his head to try and clear the cobwebs, but as he turns to press the advantage, Colleen suddenly rushes in and spears him into the corner! Oskar slumps into a seated position as Colleen backs up, taking a brief moment to catch her breath before she runs in and crushes his head with The Facewarmer! The fans are cheering her on as Colleen proceeds to drag Oskar’s body out of the corner before connecting with The Collapser! She remains seated on Oskar’s face as she reaches back and hooks a leg.

1!

2!

3!

Jennifer Cassidy calls for the bell as “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho hits the speakers again. Colleen slowly rises to her feet, trying to shake off the cobwebs herself as Jennifer Cassidy raises her arm and hands the Television Title belt to her.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Television Champion… Colleen MacDonald!”

Sharper: “Oskar Theron brought the fight to Colleen tonight, but she managed to weather the storm and will walk out of St. Louis tonight with her Television Title reign intact.”

Kayl: “Hunger and persistence not able to pay dividends for the European Fiery Nation in this match, and it’s right back to the drawing board for them.”

Knots: “Maybe Colleen needs a real challenge to see how much longer her TV Title reign can last… like Polly! Come on Colleen, prove you’re such a good friend, let Polly kick your ass and prove she’s always been better between you two!”

Devon Kayl can be heard audibly sighing on commentary as Colleen walks around the ring, holding her Television Title high to the cheers of the fans. Ginny collects Oskar as he rolls out of the ring and helps him to the back as Colleen soaks in the cheers and happily motions to the nearest camera for whoever the next challenger to her title reign may be.

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see the Breakdown logo come up on the screen. We then see a shot of Gavin Taylor vs. Shaun Cruze follow.

Sharper: “Folks, amin event tonight. Gavin Taylor faces Shaun Cruze! Next! Here on Breakdown!”

The scene fades out.

Gavin Taylor vs. Shaun Cruze

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Secret Service of Jack and Karl Barker, along with Religious Wright and Mr. Black. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening! First, on his way to the ring, accompanied by his All-Star Secret Service, from Independence, Missouri, he is the All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

The song continues...

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he watches for his opponent.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor already having a not-bad night. Earlier tonight, Syren defeated by Kemal Yilmaz after he sent her into the steel steps, busting her open and now, he could remove a lot of doubt.”

Knots: “What doubt? I mean, let’s face it, beating Shaun Cruze is going to be a massive task for him. But he may be up for it. I mean, he certainly believes so.”

Kayl: “He may also believe a lot of things.”

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage

Phillips: “His opponent, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, the Impact Player, Shaun Cruze!”

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze finally clearing the air with our CEO Frank Delatosso. Looking to just focus on the ring. He’s appreciated the attention, but doesn’t want that special attention.”

Knots: “He’s a man of integrity. I can get behind that.”

Kayl: “How? Do you even know what integrity is?”

Knots: “Aren’t you here because you’re married to the COO’s daughter?”

The bell sounds. Gavin stretches out and walks out before then stepping forward and extending his hand to Shaun Cruze. Knots: “Where are those bodyguards now!”

Kayl: “What? I thought you were on Cruze’s side.”

Gavin then turns and runs over to Shaun and then stomps him in the face over and over and over again. The crowd boos loudly as Cruze rolls to the apron. He’s then pulled to the floor by the All-Star Secret Service. Wright laughs at him as Gavin Taylor holds his arm up and smiles. Knots: “Maybe Shaun realizes he needs friends in high places-“

Sharper: “Oh come on!”

Kim runs down to the ring and slides in. She then runs out and swings with her sheers.

Kayl: “Amelia stopped…what are you doing?!”

Knots: “That’s not a friend! That’s a deadly weapon!”

The crowd roars as Kim swings again and Gavin, Wright, Polly, Kemal, Dakon, Ludvig, and Frederico scatter the ring. Sharper: “Kim helping Deanna up…but Syren and Cruze…she’s had issues with both. And look at those looks to one another.”

Deanna and Polly start to jaw at one another as Kimberly Williams stands in the ring, watching everyone as Cruze and Syren get up and their eyes dart around as the scene fades out…
