A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Colleen MacDonald, Xander Valentine, and Amelia Nevado are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Hyvee Arena in Kansas City, Missouri. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “Breakdown comes to you from the classic hotbed of Kansas City as we march headlong into Rise to Greatness XXIII!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and a massive night tonight. Some huge matches tonight.”

Knots: “That’s putting it mildly. And we could see some people humbled big tonight!”

Sharper: “Among them, a huge six person tag team match – Syren, out of jail-“

Knots: “Pfft!”

Sharper: “Joined by Shaun Cruze and Chris Dumont against Gavin Taylor, Polly Playtime, and our World Champion, Amelia Nevado!”

Knots: “And that’s not all – the Adrenaline Championship will finally be on the line. Deanna Frost finally having to defend it and we could see history tonight with Dawn Lohan finally becoming a Supreme Champion!”

Sharper: “We also have a huge tag team match – The Glimmer Sisters will face Dexter Grant and Scarlett Carsons. We’ll see if their shared animus is enough to work as a team, and finally, Alistaire Allocco, Marie Jones, both make their singles return here tonight against one another.”

Knots: “And in fact, that’s where we’re starting. We’re going to start with some old fashioned professional wrestling!”

The lights dim slightly as monks' chanting begins to echo out through the arena. As this does so, a lone yet dim spotlight begins to focus in on the entrance:

Dies iræ, dies illa

Solvet sæclum in favilla:

Teste David cum Sibylla.

Quantus tremor est futurus,

Quando iudex est venturus,

Cuncta stricte discussurus!

Tuba, mirum spargens sonum

Per sepulchra regionum,

Coget omnes ante thronum.

The sound feeds kick suddenly into "Lux Aeterna" by Skyder, DRONSOND. The spotlight becomes super intense as a single man stands in its ray. His features were almost muted by the blinding light.  His defined muscles are visible, but that's about it. As he kicks his foot around at a loud beat of the song, he steps forward to face the crowd.

Phillips: “The opening contest tonight on Breakdown is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Rochester, New York, he is the Number One Draft Pick, The Harbinger, Alistaire Allocco!”

Alistaire Allocco stands there, his eyes burning with judgment and fury. As he rolls his shoulder and poses there, a series of bright pyros fires off above him before the lights return to normal. Alistaire starts down the ramp, ignoring the fans' jeers and insults. His focus is before him, the wrestling ring.

Sharper: “Allocco stunning the world last week by assaulting Shaun Cruze. We expected to see Cruze face Polly Playtime. But instead, Allocco came out, saying that Playtime had more important things.”

Knots: “Yeah, and he’s going to be the Harbinger of consequences for Shaun Cruze. He could’ve had it easy. He could’ve been the foundation of this New Order, but instead, he thought he was too good for it!”

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena.  Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Phoenix, Marie Jones!”

As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story.  Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

Knots: “Well Marie, are going to be doing this return the right way? Cut the crap and focus on what the Jones Family has defined – wrestling!”

Sharper: “She says she’ll happily do so, but then again, there’s been a weird focus by Delatosso on the Jones family.”

Knots: “For good reason – do you want your legacy to be Marie? Or Kim? Come on!”

Sharper: “And to mention, Kim, we have many questions after last week when her and Striker were thrown off the stage-“

Knots: “In a stupid match!”

The bell sounds as Allocco steps out and watches Marie. Marie watches him and the two lock up in the middle of the ring and Allocco drops down and goes for a fireman’s carry takedown. Marie flips through and lands on her feet. She runs forward and then shoulders Allocco as he gets back up. Allocco rolls through. Marie runs into the adjacent ropes, bouncing off and then jumps up and forearms Allocco in the jaw. She then grabs the arm of Allocco and wrenches it. Allocco winces and rolls forward and then bridges up before ducking under the arm and into a hammerlock on Marie. Marie reaches down and then up before dropping down quickly, getting free and hitting a drop toe hold. She jumps over into a side headlock. Allocco holds on and then starts to get up before pushing his head out. Marie then turns and grabs at the arm of Allocco, but Allocco swats them away. He then knees her in the ribs and then hits a hip throw into an arm bar. Marie winces.

Sharper: “And Allocco now with arm. Back and forth here…”

Knots: “Just beautiful. Just what we should celebrate!”

Allocco holds on as Marie starts to get up. She then flips forward before backflipping back and then cartwheel forward and wrenching Allocco’s arm. Allocco falls to a knee. Marie wrenches the arm again. Allocco reaches up and then spins under before then breaking Marie’s hold before jumping up and dropkicking Marie down. Marie hits the mat. Allocco goes for the pin.

Marie kicks out. Marie turns and Allocco grabs her in a side headlock. Marie starts to pull herself up, Allocco still holding on. Marie then gets to her feet before pulling Allocco back into the ropes and then firing him off. Allocco bounces off and shoulders Marie down on the rebound. Allocco runs into the ropes. Marie turns into a drop down. Allocco hops over and bounces off the other side as Marie jumps up and leapfrogs over him. Allocco bounces off the other side and Marie hits a huge dropkick to the jaw. The crowd ohs. Marie goes for the pin.

Allocco kicks out and rolls out of the ring. He then holds his jaw as Marie gets up and looks at him. (1) Allocco rubs his jaw as he walks around the ring. (2) He then turns as Marie backs up, giving him space. Allocco grabs the ropes and pulls himself up onto the apron.

Sharper: “And Allocco taking a moment. Marie got all of that dropkick, stunned him with a two count-“

Knots: “Nah, he’s just taking his time. He’s strategizing!”

Sharper: “Well Marie is ready for him! Come on, kid, get back in the ring. This is professional wrestling, isn’t it?”

Allocco slowly steps through the ropes. He then lunges at Marie, but Marie sees it coming and forearms him in the jaw. She forearms him again and then hits a snapmare. Allocco sits up and Marie hits a dropkick to the back of his head. Allocco goes down and Marie goes for the pin.

Allocco gets his shoulder up. He rolls over and starts to get up and Marie forearms him in the jaw once and then again before going to whip him across the ring. Allocco spins through and sends Marie in. Marie bounces off and ducks a clothesline. Marie bounces off the other side and Allocco turns. Marie goes for the flying headscissors, but Allocco counters with a facebuster. Marie pops up and Allocco grabs her and hits a snap dead lift German suplex. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh! Marie face first into the mat. She popped up, but Allocco then just muscling her over with the German suplex!”

Knots: “Face first. Back of the head next. The blender has started!”

Sharper: “The blender?’

Knots: “You’re going to get tossed around and don’t know where it will end and how you’ll come out!”

Marie rolls over and starts to get up and Allocco grabs her and spins her around before hitting a fireman’s carry takeover. Marie hits the mat and Allocco grabs her and pulls her up by the head before hoisting her up and hitting a reverse suplex. Marie hits hard, chest first. Allocco rolls her over and goes for the pin.

Marie kicks out. Allocco grabs her and drags her up and moves her into the corner. He then hits a back elbow before whipping her across the ring. Marie hits the corner and staggers out into Allocco who grabs her and hits an overhead belly to belly suplex. Marie hits the mat and slowly gets up. She gets up and Allocco grabs her and hooks her up for another German. Marie blocks it. He then clubs her in the back a couple of times before pulling het back in. He attempts a German suplex, but Marie backflips through to her feet. Allocco scrambles back up and Marie hits a jumping enziguri kick. Allocco falls to a knee. Marie then jumps to the middle rope, backflips back and taking him down with a reverse DDT!

Sharper: “And Marie coming back hard. Great reverse DDT out of the moonsault!”

Knots: “See! Isn’t this refreshing!”

Sharper: “Marie now getting up. Allocco stirring too. She’s going to have to get that pace quickened and here we go!”

Cruze rolls over and stirs and Marie runs at him and hit a basement dropkick to the jaw. Allocco falls back and rolls over. He starts to get up to his hands and knees near the corner and Marie runs over and jumps off his back before jumping up and hitting a split-legged moonsault off the top turnbuckle and right to Allocco’s back. Allocco rolls over. Marie goes for the pin.

Allocco kicks out. Both get up and Marie kicks him in the ribs and then again before Allocco shoves her back. She hits the mat and then nips up and frankensteiner’s Allocco over. Allocco gets up and Marie grabs him and drives his knee into her face. Allocco pops up and Marie runs into the ropes. She bounces off, but Allocco then catches her, pulls her back a step and hits an exploder suplex into the corner. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh!”

Knots: “There’s a hard stop!”

Sharper: “The fast pace hurting Marie there. Just adding to the impact as Allocco is using anything in that ring to help him win!”

Allocco turns as Marie slowly rolls over and Allocco then pulls her up and drags her down into an inside cradle.

Marie kicks out. Both get up and Alistaire grabs Marie, but Marie pushes off and hits a pele kick. This causes Allocco to stagger back to the ropes, leaning on the middle rope, half out of it. The crowd roars as Marie winces, moving to a knee, and then takes a moment to get up. But just then, we cut back to Allocco as we see Shaun Cruze running down to the ring and grabbing Allocco by the head and hair and pulling him out of the ring to the floor. Allocco dumps to the floor and rolls over as Shaun Cruze stomps him in the face once and then again and again. Allocco tries to get up and Cruze stomps on him, knocking him back down. The bell goes as Marie Jones turns and looks on, stunned.

Sharper: “Cruze! Cruze attacking Allocco! Jumping Allocco! Turn about from last week after Allocco jumped him! Ruining his return match!”

Knots: “Get him off of him. Get this animal off of him!”

Cruze then turns and grabs the legs of Allocco. He steps through and turns him over, locking in the Shaunshooter on the mats at ringside. Allocco yells in pain as Cruze keeps the hold on.

Sharper: “Cruze with the Shaunshooter! Allocco being tortured at ringside!”

Knots: “Get off of him! He’s the Number One Draft Pick!”

Cruze keeps the hold on as the official drops to the floor and tries to get him off. We see officials and Dean Black running down from the back. As this happens, the crowd erupts as we see David Striker and Kimberly Williams fighting through one of the breezeways! We see Kim nail Striker with a hard right and then another before backing up, but Striker catches her and suplexes her down on the concrete. Marie turns and sees this as Kim then rolls over. Striker goes over after her as Kim manages to get up and Striker nails her with a couple of hard rights. Kim staggers off along the back of the seats. We cut back to show Shaun being forced off of Alistaire Allocco as Allocco winces in pain. Shaun is pulled away as he looks around, the crowd cheering him. Back in the crowd, Kim is leaning against the barricade by the stage. Striker advances on her.

Sharper: “While Cruze is being forced away from Allocco, Kimberly Williams and David Striker are continuing from last week!”

Knots: “They were thrown off the stage by Asher. Go after Asher!”

Sharper: “Except it’s Kim…was there a fall? I don’t think so and we know that Kim won’t just stop. Underground rules in her mind is a religion!”

Knots: “God damn it!”

Striker then runs at Kim, but Kim lifts him up and back drops him over the barricade to the concrete. Kim climbs over as we see Shaun escorted up the ramp by a couple of officials. Kim then climbs onto the barricade and dives onto David with a crossbody. She rolls through. Striker rolls over as we then see officials running over to the two of them. David gets up and Kim turns and nails him with a hard right. Striker staggers before grabbing a chair and throwing it at Kim. Kim ducks and it catches an official. Striker then moves forward as Kim goes after him, heading through the curtain to the back as the scene cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

We see a collection of computer generated screens spinning around, showing shots from Rise to Greatness in past years, including a shot of Steve Griffin hitting CHBK with the Decimator off the top rope at the first Rise to Greatness, before cutting to show Cid Turner last year holding the SCW World Championship, and then showing James Exeter going for a shooting star press only to be caught by Shawn Winters.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

We then cut to 2015 to see Syren and David Helms in the ring. Syren turns around and Helms kicks her in the ribs. He grabs her head and goes for the New Jersey Neckbreaker, but Syren blocks it and forearms Helms in the ribs. He turns and knees her in the face. He then goes to lift her up onto his shoulders, but Syren slides down. Helms turns around and Syren kicks him in the ribs and goes for the Total Makeover. Syren jumps up, and Helms then lifts her up again. He tries to hook her legs, but Syren manages to slide down.

Sharper: “Back and forth. They’re both trying to go for that final blow.”

Knots: “Syren down. And a boot!”

Helms turns and Syren jumps up and hits a pump kick to the face. Helms falls back. He then slowly gets up and Syren pulls herself up. Helms gets up at the ropes and pulls himself up. Syren turns at Helms and Helms lowers his head. He launches Syren up, but Syren falls onto the apron, landing on her feet. Helms turns and Syren forearms him. He staggers back and Syren springboards to the top rope and twists around before grabbing Helms’ head and planting him with the Beauty Spot. The crowd ohs. Syren turns and hooks the legs, cradling the other one with her legs.

The crowd roars and Syren rolls off. She looks up as the bell sounds.

Phillips: “And your winner…via pinfall…SYREN!”

Matty Stone and Scarlett Pearson look on as Syren slowly gets up. She catches her breath a bit before having her arm raised. She then turns and Helms slowly stirs. Syren drops down and says something to him. She then gets up and goes over to Matty and says something to him. Matty rolls into the ring. Helms slowly stirs.

Sharper: “Syren has defeated David Helms here tonight…and handed him his first loss at this event.”

Knots: “Last time he’s here…and Syren gets him.”

Matty goes over to Helms and Scarlett enters too. Syren then helps Matty in helping Helms up. Helms winces a bit, holding his head and he falls over to the ropes. Syren says something to him and Matty and Scarlett just walk before Syren finishes what she was going to say and drops down to the floor. She then steps back and applauds to Helms. She turns and heads to the back. Helms looks around and takes a deep breath as the crowd applauds him.

Sharper: “A great show of respect at the end of this all…”

Knots: “Giving him the ring here tonight…”

Helms walks to the middle of the ring and looks around. Syren’s music stops playing and we cut to Helms’ music. He looks around and applauds back to the crowd.

Sharper: “David…great match. Syren your victor…and now he’ll have the ring to himself here at Rise to Greatness one more time.”

Helms looks around and turns as Scarlett and Matty both applaud him. He smiles and walks over to the ropes. He then steps through them and drops to the floor. He looks around before starting to slowly make his way to the back. The Rise to Greatness XXIII logo comes up on the screen.

We open up with a panning shot of the inside of the Hyvee Arena.

Sharper: “Rise to Greatness rapidly approaching and we always have memorable moments. Some like that one. David Helms at the time walking away. Five years later he would return at Taking Hold of the Flame and win.”

Knots: “Yeah, and this year, we’ll see Amelia Nevado as the undisputed standardbearer in this sport with some of the best talent in the New Order ready to show what professional wrestling is about!”

We then cut backstage as we see Kimberly Williams grabbing one of the production lights backstage and trying to drag it over. Officials stop her before we see Striker grabbing a storage crate and ramming it in the direction of Kim. It catches Hiro Tanaka in the back of the leg before Dean Black steps in and stops David Striker.

Sharper: “And these two are still going at it!”

Knots: “See! This is why! Marie…Marie had an amazing match. And Kim…she just goes to this!”

Sharper: “And remember, last week, there was no result. Underground rules mean there must be a winner and we’ve seen Kim do this in the past! And they’re still going at it!”

Kim tries to get past Dillusion who is stopping her as other officials keep trying to separate the two. Striker yells at Kim.

Striker: “I’m still happy to go if you want!”

Kim: “A little fall never stopped me!”

The crowd in the arena roars as we then cut to the arena where the opening riff to “Song for the Dead” by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing the SCW Underground Championship, and a new Asher Hayes t-shirt and jeans.

Sharper: “And as Kim Williams and David Striker continue their fight from last week, the man who put the pause on it…let’s go back to last week and see how Breakdown ended.”

LAST WEEK:

We cut to the end of Breakdown to see Kemal Yilmaz pushing a garbage bin with Kimberly Williams and David Striker in it on the stage. Just as he goes to push it off, Hayes comes out and nails him with a hard right. Hayes nails Yilmaz again with a shot before nailing him again and then running him over and into the stage. Yilmaz staggers off and Hayes turns and looks around before grabbing the Underground Championship which had fallen off his waist in the attack, and he turns and runs at Kemal and decks him with it. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “Kemal Yilmaz came out to try and take out Kim and David after they both ended up in that garbage dolly that Kim used to bring down a bunch of weapons. Hayes came out and intervened.”

Knots: “Yeah and it looked like that would be it, but Kim…she’s not all there. And she starts to taunt Asher!”

Hayes starts to pull the bin back as Striker reaches up. Kim recovers enough and sees Hayes with the bin.

Kim: “Oh…this is how it’s going to be, huh?!”

Hayes: “I just saved your ass.”

Kim: “Come on! Join in! Water’s warm!”

Hayes: “The hell is wrong with you.”

Kim: “Come on….do it! Do it!”

Hayes looks at Kim and Striker and shakes his head. He then backs up as Kim looks up at Hayes. Hayes turns.

Kim: “Come on! Take me for a ride, Asher!”

Striker: “Focus on me, not that panty-waste!”

Striker starts to pull himself up as Kim then turns to him and nails him with a hard right. Striker nails her with one. Hayes then turns back and grabs the bin and runs it towards the edge of the stage and shoves it off. The bin hits some tables and cords before toppling over. Kim and Striker roll out, covered by WASLEY, and cardboard in the bottom, including a trash bag that comes out. The crowd looks on and roars.

Sharper: “Hayes suddenly pushing the bin off, Striker and Williams inside. Thankfully both ended up only with bruises and sore. Narrowly missing something worse. Both were shaken up at first.”

Knots: “Hey. First time I think Asher Hayes did something we should celebrate!”

Hayes looks at the bin and then lowers his head. We see Demitra run over to check on Kim and David as we see officials running from the back. They run over to check on Kim and David as Hayes backs up and looks out at the crowd. He then shakes his head before running his hand through his hair. He then calmly walks over to the Underground Championship. He then looks at the title and then back at the end of the stage. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We open back up in the ring to see Asher Hayes leaning on the top rope, microphone in his hand. He looks around, his music fading out.

Hayes: “I almost feel I need to say something for clarity before I begin.”

Hayes looks up.

Hayes: “I am a former World Champion. A former US Champion. A former Adrenaline Champion. A former World Tag Team Champion…I am a Supreme Champion!”

Hayes looks around.

Hayes: “I’ve held every title in this promotion, except the one’s that don’t exist, and the TV title. And I’m a three time Underground Champion.”

Hayes pauses for a moment.

Hayes: “Look, I know….I’ve had a history of tagging along and following people that did more or were more infamous. I was always in the shadow of Rachel Foxx….or CHBK….or Cid Turner…or the Blondetourage. Whatever. I’ve tried to be a decent guy and just come out here and do the one thing I know I’ve been good at since I first stepped into this ring. And, oh yeah, in case you didn’t notice, I beat and bloodied David Striker and Simon Lyman in two different countries. And I’ve proven I deserve to hold this title too.”

Hayes looks around.

Hayes: “And I still have to deal with people who refuse to accept reality. Act as if I’m just someone here, holding this title because of an accident.”

Hayes stops again.

Sharper: “Hayes just almost letting this all out…”

Knots: “I figured he’d be telling us about last week.”

Hayes: “You know what, I’m going to just say this so this off my chest. Kim…you want a fight, I’m not hard to find. But we don’t have to have the foreplay to get there. I’ve never really been that kind of guy. Sorry!”

Hayes looks around.

Hayes: “And David Striker…calling me a panty-waste last week.. You know what, I’ve heard you keep bitching about losing to me. How about I just make this clear…Go *bleep* yourself!”

The crowd roars.

Hayes: “When I was your age and talking about how I was the next coming of greatness in this sport, I at least backed it up. You can jumping off tall things and you can take Kim to the limit. And you can run your mouth. But Striker, I put you on your ass! It would do well for you, for once, to learn some God damn respect!”

Hayes looks at the crowd. The crowd cheers.

Hayes: “Everyone thought I snapped last week…yeah, maybe I did. I’ve been called a coward before. But when Striker continued to run his mouth. I’m sorry, I hoped I injured his ass because maybe if he was in the damn hospital bed for a few days, he’d finally look in the mirror and realize that he’s still got a long way to go to be half as good as he claims he is!”

Hayes turns to the camera.

Hayes: “So I pushed you off the stage. For Kim, I figured she’d like the ride. All this after I saved you asses. You want to keep spitting in my face, then I’ll just make you pay for it. Because while Kim has earned her stripes, you, David, at some point, you need to be more than just potential!”

Just then, we see David Striker storming out from the back. The crowd roars as Hayes turns and looks at him. Striker is jawing at Hayes the entire way.

Striker: “You won’t have a bathroom to hide in this time, asshole, and even overrated veterans can get lucky!”

Striker rolls into the ring and steps up, only for Hayes to just smack Striker. The impact causes Striker to stagger back and fall to a knee, stunned.

Hayes: “You’re someone that needed that to happen to you a few hundred more times!”

The crowd roars as we then see Kimberly Williams running down from the back, brandishing a three foot piece of metal pipe, while dragging Aaron Demitra with her. She then reaches the ring and rolls in as Asher Hayes takes his Underground Championship off and turns as Kim gets up and looks at Asher and smiles. She glances at Striker and then back at Hayes before Kim smiles.

Kim: “Thanks for the right Ash-hole!”

Hayes just looks at Kim as Kim keeps her eyes on the Underground Championship. Just then, Striker gets up, a chain wrapped around his fist, having pulled it from his pants, and then turns and nails Hayes in the side of the head. Hayes drops to the mat, holding his head as the crowd ohs.

Striker: “You want to cheap shot, huh, bitch?!”

Just then, Kim runs up behind Striker and rolls him up in a school boy. Demitra counts.

1!

2!

3!

The crowd roars as Demitra calls for the bell. Striker rolls over, confused as Kim rolls out of the ring, throwing her arms up in the air. The chain Striker had falls to the mat.

Kim: “Wooo! Davey Boy…”

Kim applauds.

Kim: “Hard fought one!”

Sharper: “Kim just…did she just pin Striker from last week?!”

Knots: “Why not? Just why not…”

Striker gets up as Hayes starts to get up and David looks at Kim and he gets up, frustrated and annoyed. He then steps through the ropes before Hayes runs over and nails him in the back. Striker falls over and down to the mats. Kim jumps up and down before pumping her fists. Hayes walks around the ring, hold his jaw, wincing before we see Striker getting up and looking at the ring. He then rolls in and runs at Hayes. Demitra runs over and enters and tries to separate the two. Striker and Hayes start to trade blows.

Sharper: “Kim celebrating while Striker and Hayes trade blows in the ring. Demitra trying to separate them. Things heating up in the Underground Division!”

The two keep trading blows as we then see officials running down from the back, notably without Hiro Tanaka, as they enter the ring, blowing by Kimberly Williams and go to separate Hayes and Striker as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Gavin Taylor walking into the area the European Fiery Nation have made their home. He looks around, joined by Karl and Jack Barker. Oskar Theron walk over to him.

Oskar: “Yo, Gavin, what’s up? Got news from Delatosso?”

Gavin: “Don’t know about Delatosso as he’s still in Toronto, but uh…Kemal’s gone?”

Oskar: “Gone for his match.”

Gavin: “Well then, I need to talk to you, man. Look, things…they got out of control. With Chris…with Syren…now with Flash. I thought they said the best defense is a good offense!”

Karl: “I’m hearing Flash is pretty angry.”

Federico Gasperoni comes over.

Gasperoni: “Well, you get punked out, some people don’t like that.”

Gavin: “Well about that…I need you to take care of Flash. I may have picked another fight and well…look, you’ve all been great. I hear you’re becoming security. So it’s just help and what not. So…can you take care of it?”

Gasperoni: “Don’t worry, man. I’ll take care of him. He looks like someone who can’t punch out of a paper bag. You have more important thing to think of.”

Oskar: “We’ll take care of it, but it better start paying off.”

Gavin: “Of course! Of course! Leave that to me!”

Gavin smiles and nods before turning to Karl and Jack. He motions for them to leave and they do as Oskar and Federico watch him leave. Dakon and Ludvig come over as the scene cuts away.

We cut backstage to see Dexter Grant on his laptop backstage. He then stops and looks up and then sighs before shaking his head. We then see Wendell walking into the room.

Grant: “Wendell…”

Wendell: “Oh…Dexter. Yeah, what’s up? Don’t tell me you’re doing research again?”

Grant: “No…just…you’re alone?”

Wendell: “For now?”

Grant nods.

Grant: “Good. Destiny doesn’t need to be involved in this. But we…we may need to close ranks.”

Wendell: “What do you mean?”

Grant: “I said after Breakdown last week I had a hunch…I think it may be true.”

Wendell: “Wait? You got proof?”

Grant: “Trust people who are used to wielding power to be shockingly open about things. But no…in this case…”

Grant spins the laptop to Wendell. Wendell sits down and sits next to Grant.

Wendell: “Is this…”

Grant: “I think so….”

Wendell: “So what are you going to do?”

Grant: “The same as I always do. Stand up for what’s right.”

Grant closes his laptop and then puts it down. He then sighs and gets up as Wendell looks a bit concerned.

Sharper: “What’s that mean?”

Ryan LeCavalier vs. Kemal Yilmaz

Wasteland by Pentagram, aka Mezarkabul, plays over the sound system as Kemal, wearing the black and red venom mask comes through the curtain, holding up his Turkey flag, wearing Turkey flame flag shorts with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his shorts, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, from Istanbul, Turkey, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is The Turkish Acid, Kemal Yilmaz!”

He jumps up to the ring and gets underneath the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he raises his fist in the air, looking at the crowd with Ginny applauding Kemal before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end of the corner of looking at his opponent, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Kemal Yilmaz last week was busy trying to hurt David Striker and Kimberly Williams, but now going into action in a very different type of battle.”

Knots: “This could be a hell of a technical showdown to put it mildly.”

The arena falls into a deep, anticipatory hush as the lights abruptly dim, plunging the crowd into darkness. The air is thick with anticipation, and suddenly, the ominous beats of "Praise" by Zhu, Banks, and Bludnymph pulse through the speakers, filling the arena with an eerie energy. The voice of BANKS echoes through the space, setting a haunting tone:

"I built me up high, a building so high, you know. Up where the birds fly, it was a long time ago."

The tension is palpable as a single spotlight slices through the darkness, casting an intense beam onto the entrance ramp. The crowd holds its breath as the silhouette of her figure begins to emerge, shrouded in an aura of menace and mystery. Dressed in a breathtaking ensemble of black and gold, her outfit shimmers with an almost ethereal glow, reflecting her dominance and superiority.

As Ryan LeCavalier steps into the light, the chorus surges, magnifying her grand entrance and asserting her control:

"I got the view from the stars, baby, stars, baby. You look up at me like a god, baby, god, baby."

With a deliberate, measured pace, she strides down the ramp, each step resounding with authority and command. Her hair cascades behind her, catching the light and adding a dramatic flair to her entrance. Her gaze is sharp and unyielding, scanning the crowd with a mix of disdain and amusement, daring them to challenge her.

Suddenly, pyrotechnics explode around her, their bursts of light and smoke accentuating her every movement. The strobe-like flashes create a stark contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing her formidable presence. The chorus of "Praise" swells dramatically, enveloping the arena in a pulsating rhythm:

"This is how I got name, this is how I got my fame. You and me are not the same, this is why you give me praise."

Phillips: “His opponent, from Los Angeles, California, she is the Lost Monarch, Ryan Lecavalier!”

As she nears the ring, she pauses, her eyes locking onto the spectators at ringside. She smirks, exuding an aura of disdain and arrogance, relishing in their fear and respect. With a contemptuous glance, she continues her march toward the ring, her every move a testament to her dominance and control.

Ascending the ring steps with an almost ritualistic grace, she pauses at the top, surveying the arena with a look of disdainful triumph. With a flourish, she steps through the ropes, her entrance complete. Raising her arms in a gesture of defiance and power, she locks eyes with her opponent, the tension between them electric.

The music crescendos to a thunderous climax, and the crowd erupts into a cacophony of boos and jeers, their voices a testament to her impact and infamy. She stands ready in the center of the ring, her presence alone a declaration of her readiness for the fight ahead.

As the final notes of "Praise" fade into the night, the echoes of the chorus linger in the air, a haunting reminder of her dominance and control:

"Give me (Praise), Give me (Praise)."

And with that, the stage is set, the battle lines drawn, and the arena braces itself for the match that's about to take place.

Sharper: “Ryan LeCavalier stunned us last week attacking Selena Frost. She’s been so focused on Selena, on helping her, on helping her get back to the World Title.”

Knots: “And she was trying to beat some sense into her. If Deanna Frost is that weak that she needs Selena’s admiration and attention, let her. And then Ryan can pick the bones…but that’s assuming Selena could beat Amelia!”

The bell sounds. LeCavalier steps out as does Yilmaz. The two circle and then lunge at one another and LeCavalier ducks under the arms of Yilmaz and spins around and into a side headlock. Yilmaz pulls her back into the ropes and then fires her off. LeCavalier bounces off the ropes and Yilmaz goes to grab her, but LeCavalier slides under and then grabs Yilmaz in a waistlock. Yilmaz rolls forward and LeCavalier rolls out. Both get up and Yilmaz grabs LeCavalier and sends her into the ropes again. She bounces off and Yilmaz goes for a hip toss, but LeCavalier spins through and then tries for one of her own. Yilmaz blocks and LeCavalier punches him in the ribs before bending him over. She places her leg on the back of Yilmaz’s head and backflips out of it. Yilmaz goes for a clothesline; LeCavalier ducks and then hits a dropkick as Yilmaz spins around.

Sharper: “And LeCavalier showing her agility and quickness. Trying to make Yilmaz guess where she’s coming from.”

Knots: “And Yilmaz is going for hard shots, but LeCavalier just too quick.”

Yilmaz gets back up and LeCavalier kicks him in the ribs and hits a hard right. She then grabs him by the head and runs him along the top rope, raking his face against it. Yilmaz pulls away and shakes it off as LeCavalier then runs past him and jumps to the middle rope and hits a back leg lariat off the springboard. She goes for the pin.

Yilmaz kicks out and LeCavalier goes for the arm. Yilmaz however bends over and hooks LeCavalier’s arm, pulling her over. He gets her to her back and grabs at it, but LeCavalier pushes him off with her feet. Yilmaz rolls through. LeCavalier gets up and runs at Yilmaz, but Yilmaz moves out of the way and LeCavalier jumps to the middle rope and goes for the Relativisme, but Yilmaz ducks. LeCavalier lands and Yilmaz then hits a running bulldog from behind.

Sharper: “And the aggressiveness maybe catching her. Yilmaz saw the Relativisme coming and then just drove her down.”

Knots: “That’s the sense that you just learn over time. It’s why Yilmaz is going to be someone to watch going forward. Why Konrad Raab named him to lead the EFN!”

LeCavalier rolls over and starts to get up and Yilmaz clubs her in the back once and then again before just muscling her up and hitting a snap back suplex. LeCavalier rolls through and then starts to get up and Yilmaz runs at her and hits a European uppercut. LeCavalier is dazed and Yilmaz pulls her into a belly to belly suplex. He goes for the pin.

LeCavalier kicks out. She sits up and Yilmaz grabs her by the head and chin and twists it. LeCavalier grimaces in pain as Yilmaz contorts her head and neck with a neck twist. LeCavalier reaches out as Yilmaz keeps pulling on her head and then stops and elbows her in the back of the head. She rolls over and Yilmaz grabs her and whips her into the corner. Yilmaz runs after and LeCavalier gets a boot up. Yilmaz staggers out and Ryan LeCavalier runs out with a discus clothesline. She goes for the pin.

Yilmaz kicks out. He turns and Ryan grabs him and nails him with a couple of hard right while still on her knees. She gets up and turns and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and goes for a frankensteiner, but Yilmaz catches her and hits a high-angle sitout powerbomb! The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh! Just drove her down! Huge counter! Into the pin!”

LeCavalier shoots her shoulder up and rolls over. Yilmaz falls back.

Knots: “Oh boy. Yilmaz thought he had it!”

Sharper: “Shoulder up just in time!”

LeCavalier looks up and Yilmaz grabs her and pulls her up and then spins her around. He then grabs her head and then the leg and hits a fisherman’s suplex into a bridge.

LeCavalier kicks out. LeCavalier rolls over and starts to get up. Yilmaz grabs her and she suddenly crawls between his legs. She then gets up and runs into the ropes, stopping at the ropes. Yilmaz runs after and LeCavalier gets a boot up. Yilmaz spins around and runs back, but LeCavalier hits the stun gun, knocking him back. She looks around and turns and jumps to the ropes before jumping to the top rope and hitting the Presque l’amour. She hooks the leg.

Yilmaz rolls his shoulder up.

Sharper: “Huge moonsault. The Presque l’amour, but it only gets two!”

Knots: “She got all of it, but Yilmaz took it, and still had some left in the tank!”

Yilmaz stirs as LeCavalier grabs him and pulls him up and moves him into the corner. She punches him twice in the side of the head before then pulling him out and hitting a release exploder suplex. She hooks the leg.

Yilmaz gets his shoulder up. He then rolls over and moves to the ropes. LeCavalier gets up and walks around the ring and runs over to him and kicks him in the back. He falls into the ropes. LeCavalier then runs at him, but Yilmaz moves out of the way. LeCavalier goes chest first and into Yilmaz who hits a release dragon suplex. LeCavalier rolls through to her stomach. Yilmaz rolls over and looks around.

Sharper: “Dragon suplex! Yilmaz caught LeCavalier again!”

Knots: “And dumped her right on her head!”

Yilmaz then turns and grabs LeCavalier. He hoists her up and starts to set up for the Istanbul Acid Driver, but LeCavalier blocks it and then spins out of it and then hits the Sacrament. Yilmaz falls over and to the ropes. LeCavalier goes for the pin.

Yilmaz however is breaking the plane of the ropes with his foot. The official stops the count and LeCavalier looks up. She then grabs Yilmaz and drags him over to the middle of the ring. She turn and goes to the corner. She climbs up to the middle rope.

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

"Thank You for Hating Me!" by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with more boos than cheers. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens. LeCavalier hops down from the ropes as she steps forward. We then see the official pulled to the floor as Selena Frost is at ringside and she then turns and runs the official into the barricade. They go down as Selena then storms over to the timekeeper as Ryan then turns and notices her as she grabs the ring bell and bangs the hammer on it. She then turns and walks around the ring as LeCavalier just scoffs, shaking her head.

LeCavalier: “That’s the response…a tantrum-“

Just then, though, LeCavalier is spun around by Kemal Yilmaz. And Yilmaz pulls back on LeCavalier, locking in the Turkish Acid Cross! Selena just smirks before folding her arms across her chest. She then turns and walks around the ring as LeCavalier struggles. Yilmaz keeps pulling back.

Sharper: “Selena Frost disrupting, but more importantly, distracting! And she’s not helping LeCavalier this time!”

Knots: “Yilmaz is trying to tear the arm out of LeCavalier’s shoulder!”

Sharper: “And Selena Frost leaving the ringside area. She’s done what she wanted.”

Knots: “I want to hear more though of what she’s thinking!”

Selena Frost heads to the back as LeCavalier yells out in pina as Yilmaz pulls back on her face and arm. The camera follows Selena as she heads to the back as LeCavalier continues to struggle as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Simon Lyman thrown into a wall. He turns and throws a hard right, but we then see Eric Gibson nailing him in the ribs before David Belmont steps up and grabs him by the throat. Lyman just looks at him.

David Belmont: “You made a mistake, Simon…too bad I’m not in a forgiving mood!”

David Belmont then nails him in the ribs with a couple of hard shots before throwing him down. Lyman looks up before Alex Stryfe nails him with a hard right and then another before throwing him down and Gibson then stomps him in the back before Belmont turns, standing on the head of Simon. Simon tries to get free. Belmont then lifts his foot and stomps him in the ground. The crowd ohs as Belmont then steps over him. We cut to see the man in the rabbit figure standing in the background.

Belmont: “A big mistake, Simon…”

Belmont walks off as the others walk away. Simon grimaces in pain as the scene cuts to commercial.

Breakdown returns as we see Selena Frost walking through the backstage area. Jessica Winters jogs after her.

Winters: “Selena! Selena! Can I get a word?”

Selena ignores Jessica Winters as Selena then turns and cuts down one hallway. Deanna Frost then steps out of her locker room. She then turns and runs down the hallway as we now see Selena Frost picking up the pace and continuing to walk off.

Winters: “Selena!”

Winters turns and looks at the camera and then Deanna.

Winters: “Have you talk to her since? Can we get some clarity here? She gets cut off last week, but she was thinking about accepting your offer. And Deanna, I-“

Deanna: “Jessica….stop. My offer still stands, but she’s going to have to decide it…it’s there. I’m focusing on the Adrenaline Title tonight.”

Winters: “And if she keeps avoiding the question?”

Deanna: “Jessica…just…this needs to happen.”

Deanna sighs and turns back to her locker room. The camera swings around to show Selena having disappeared down the hallway as the scene cuts back to the ring.

The Glimmer Sisters vs. Dexter Grant & Scarlett Carsons

The arena goes dark without warning.

A low church bell tolls through the darkness. A single white spotlight snaps on at the top of the ramp, cutting through thick blue fog that pours outward like breath in winter. The opening whisper of SANCTIFY ME crawls in beneath it—soft, intimate, wrong—Maria Brink’s voice sounding less like a singer and more like a confession caught on tape.

The tron doesn’t play video. It plays stained glass. Cracked, fractured imagery of saints and sinners bleeding into one another. Faces half-formed. Halos broken. Wings burned black at the edges. The glass pulses faintly in time with the song’s heartbeat.

As the first heavy note hits—The fog explodes. Scarlett Carsons steps forward through it, already in motion, already claimed by the light. She doesn’t pose. She doesn’t acknowledge the crowd. Her head is bowed—not in humility, but in judgment. A long black coat drapes from her shoulders like funeral cloth, the inside lined deep crimson. Bare hands. No theatrics. No wasted movement. Each step down the ramp is deliberate, measured, like she’s walking toward an altar she plans to burn down. Blue strobes flash once—just enough to catch her eyes as she lifts her head. They don’t scan the crowd. They pass through it.

When the chorus hits—SANCTIFY ME—the lights snap blood-red, flooding the arena as if the room itself has been baptized in something unholy. The fog behind her swirls upward now, forming a silhouette that almost looks like wings before tearing itself apart.

Phillips: “The following contest is a tag team match scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from the Shadows of Westminster in London, England, she is Scarlett Carsons!”

Scarlett stops halfway down the ramp. Slowly, she opens her coat. The coat falls to the steel with a dull, final thud, left behind like a discarded skin. She rolls her shoulders once, loosening them, eyes never leaving the ring. The music drops back into that haunting refrain as she resumes her walk.

At ringside, she doesn’t slide in. She climbs the steps. She wipes her boots on the apron—not for respect, but ritual—then steps between the ropes and stands dead center, head tilted back as the final sanctify me drags out into distortion. The lights snap back to black.

One last white spotlight finds her—And then it dies. When the arena lights return, Scarlett Carsons is already in her corner.

Sharper: “Scarlett Carsons making her first appearance on SCW programming in a few weeks. Waiting in a shadows for this.”

Knots: “Yeah, not in Taking Hold of the Flame. She’s been focused on getting revenge for those attacks on her, and now maybe the Glimmers are a focus. Well good on her!”

“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen show's a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. The SCW United States Championship is around his waist. A few cheers can be heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle.

Phillips: “Her partner, accompanied by Wendell, and coming from Off the Grid, he is the SCW United States Champion, the Digital Detoxer, Dexter Grant!”

Wendell eagerly looks up at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around him who just refuse to listen to his message. He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching to the center of the ring and turning his back to the hard cam as he points his thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed. The lights return to normal as Dexter goes to Phillips and demands the microphone. He takes it from Phillips and turns to the ring.

Sharper: “Dexter Grant, the US Champion, has had a lengthy issue with the Gliimmers…well, we’re going to hear from him.”

Dexter: “Tonight, I have something I need to make sure is shared. Because while some may want to think my holding the SCW United States Championship was simply a recognition that message has not fallen on deaf ears, I am not foolish enough to think I have won all of you over when you still stand in these stands, phones out, taking pictures and illegally recording video. Oh no…I have come to find out that there were nefarious means that led me to get this opportunity and….”

Dexter keeps talking, but suddenly, the microphone cuts out. Dexter stops and looks at it and then smirks before all the lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise.

Sharper: “What was that about?”

Knots: “Just more ramblings of a lunatic!”

After a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed” for battle. “Tongue Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. They join hands and look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant display of pinks and yellows. At this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience.

Phillips: “Their opponents, from Cirque du Sins, they are the team of Gia and Gina, the Glimmer Sisters!”

The mirror routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly interact with fans, Gina scoffing at some guy not worth her time in the front row desperately trying to get her number while Gia teases potentially flashing her side of the crowd only to stick her tongue out and tell them to “blame SCW” for the let down. Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the hard cam side of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away from each other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they stick their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited cheers from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise getting from those that either aren't interested in them or see through the act. Once they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they lean back against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment before hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in sync. Once they're back in the ring the lighting returns to the underwater hues as they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again, before meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines down on them. They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes it seem like they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip their hair before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they grin and wink to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out again for a brief moment before coming back on as normal, the Glimmer Sisters separating and moving to their corner as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their eyes.

Sharper: “And the Glimmer Sister trying to let everything go. They seemed unbothered by Taking Hold of the Flame, but you can tell that they were a bit disappointed.”

Knots: “Get ready for more disappointment! That should be all the Glimmers are owed after that travesty they tried to develop at Taking Hold of the Flame. The professionalism of Amelia Nevado, and La Pequena Luz, is beyond reproach.”

The bell sounds as Dexter Grant steps up and Gia and Gina talk to one another as Scarlett looks on from the corner. Gia, we think, steps up as Grant looks at her and Grant goes to grab her, but Gia spins around and pulls him down with a school boy. She grabs Grant’s ass for good measure.

Sharper: “One of the Glimmers already playing and messing with Grant. Grant just into the corner.”

Knots: “Not going to let her get under his skin. Just going right at her!”

Grant whips Gia across the ring. Grant runs after and goes for a shoulder thrust. Gia jumps up and somersaults down his back. She then gets to her feet and flips forward. Grant turns and runs at her and Gia hits a drop toe hold. Gia then stomps him in the back before tagging in Gina. Gina enters the ring and Gia and Gina hook up before Gina spins through and hip tosses Gia onto the back of Grant. Grant rolls over in pain. Gina dives for the pin.

He then grabs her and drags her over and tags in Scarlett. He holds Gina for an open shot as Scarlett enters and kicks Gina in the ribs. Gina staggers and Scarlett kicks her again. Gain staggers before Scarlett hits a thrust kick, knocking her down.

Sharper: “And Carsons takes down…we’ll say that’s Gina Glimmer. Hard kick.”

Knots: “How wonderful. That was great. I love seeing the Glimmers get what they deserve.”

Sharper: “Falling out with KABLAMia, huh?”

Knots: “What?”

Knots: “Enough about the thin coating on them!”

Gia gets her shoulder up as Gina starts to enter. The crowd looks on as Scarlett shakes her head. She then grabs Gia and drags her up.

Knots: “And Scarlett violently attacking Gia Glimmer there! This is great!”

Sharper: “And Gia and Gina surprised maybe by how well these two are working together.”

Scarlett then pulls her to the middle of the ring. She bends her back for the G.P.T., but Gia pushes off her feet and backflips through and then pushes Scarlett back and hits a superkick. Gia falls to the ropes. The crowd roars as Gia then turns and tags in Gina! Gina enters and runs over and nails Grant with a running forearm. She then turns and front flips towards Scarlett and then both Gia and Gina hit split-legged leg drops to her body. She rolls over in pain. Gina then turns as Dexter rolls into the ring. He gets up and Gina kicks him in the ribs before Gia joins in. They both start to hammer away on him before then leaning in, rubbing their chest on his face.

Sharper: “And the Glimmers are rubbing themselves on Grant!”

Knots: “Don’t clip that! Don’t post that!”

Sharper: “Humiliating Grant!”

Grant keeps fighting before shoving them off. Gia and Gina fall back before Grant gets up and Gina grabs his arm and wrenches it. Grant then pushes her back into the ropes. Gia goes to help, but Scarlett grabs her and spins her around. She then nails Gia with a hard right and then another. Grant knees Gina in the ribs once and then again as the official tries to get control. They start to count as Scarlett gets Gia into the corner and shoulders her a few times before Gia blocks it and grabs her and places her on the ropes starting to choke her in the corner. Grant then rears back and goes for another Clickbait, but Gina ducks through the ropes. She then jumps up and wraps herself around the arms of Grant as if in a crucifix. Grant tries to get free as Gina elbows him. The crowd roars before the official calls for the bell. Scarlett gets Gia off as Gia stops herself. She turns around and goes for a spin kick to the head, but Scarlett ducks and tackles her down. Gina lets go of Grant as Grant rolls over. Gina then dives in and presses herself to the face of Grant as Grant tries to fight her off.

Phillips: “The referee has ruled this match a double disqualification. This match is a draw!”

The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Grant and Carsons aren’t stopping and neither are the Glimmers. We’re just seeing the emotions spill over!”

Knots: “And neither want to give an inch!”

Sharper: “You said that…”

Knots: “Hey!”

Grant pushes Gina off of him and rolls to the floor as Grant staggers off. Gina smiles as Scarlett gets a few more shots in before Gina turns and runs over and boots her in the head. Scarlett falls off of Gia and rolls to the floor. Gia looks up and smirks as the crowd roars. “Tongue Twister” starts to play as Grant looks into the ring and Carsons starts to get up, just glaring at the Glimmers as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Syren, Chris Dumont & Shaun Cruze vs. Amelia Nevado, Gavin Taylor & Polly Playtime

The arena lights shut off completely.  The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice can be heard saying:

"You want me to cut the crap?  My answer is that you need to cut yours."

The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous glowing angry green eyes make an appearance.  Most of the screen stays black, but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".

An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One.  Game Over."

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage.  "Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to sing the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of the stage between the strobe lights.  The overhead arena lights return and we can see that the figure is dressed in a long black robe that covers all of her, including her head.  The hood drops back to reveal Polly not smiling or showing any hint of caring what others think of her.  She allows the vocals to continue until Dove hits the chorus for a second time. We see Polly’s guards walking out with her.

Phillips: “The following contest is a six-person tag team match scheduled for onefall with a thirty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, she is Polly Playtime!”

The light purple strobe rights turn to point directly to the ring as Polly lets go of the robe that is cloaking her, revealing that she is wearing her black knee-high skirt, but also a very small strapless light purple top that hugs her mostly revealed upper body perfectly.  She then picks up the item that she had used to tie her black robe around her, that item being a small whip.

Wasting no more time, she walks with purpose down to the ring as her entrance music continues.  A lot of the crowd near ringside is gawking at her while some are booing.  Polly just ignores every single last one of them as once at ringside, she feels the mat with both of her hands and rubs them a bit before sneering and walking over to the nearest set of steel ring steps. She walks up them and enters the ring. Her guards walk around the ring.

Once in the ring she runs the end of the whip around the canvas for a short bit before she chooses a corner of the ring and leans up against the ropes.  As her music subsides, Polly can be heard saying "I'm too much for you to handle.  Too much for ALL of you!  Always have been, always will be.  It's time you all see it."

The boos pick up.  Polly is acting as if they don't exist as she has all of the whip in her hands now once again.  She stays in her corner and waits for the bell to ring.

Sharper: “This is a huge match here. A lot of different issues coming to a head.”

Knots: “And it’s a statement match. The New Order can show those who have a problem that they can’t hang anymore!”

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Security of Jack and Karl Barker. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

Phillips: “Next, from Independence, Missouri, accompanied by his All-Star Secret Service, he is the All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes and turns to Polly, talking to her as the All-Star Secret Service joins Polly’s guards.

Sharper: “Now from Independence, Missouri.”

Knots: “Hometown boy. That’s not that far from here!”

Sharper: “Yeah, sure. And I’m sure also using that with the Fourth of July just a couple of days away.”

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of both herself and the SCW World Championship around her waist, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring, trying to block out the boos she's now receiving. After a moment of this, Amelia slowly unfolds her hands before she proceeds to head down to the ring, her look growing more determined and battle-ready the closer she gets.

Phillips: “And finally, their partner, from Oxford, England, she is one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions, and the SCW World Champion…she is Amelia Nevado!”

Once she reaches ringside, Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia removes the World Title from around her waist and raises it high in place of her usual fist pump, which only draws even more boos from the fans, as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and setting it in her corner. She begins a light warm-up in the corner as her music fades out.

Sharper: “And Nevado, tag champion, World Champion, first time in the ring since she won the tag titles at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “Look at this team. The World Champion, the former World Champ, and a future World Champion!”

The opening rifts to “You Know My Name” kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage

Phillips: “Their opponents, first, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, he is the Impact Player, Shaun Cruze!”

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match as Aaron Demitra stands in the ring, keeping Nevado, Playtime, and Taylor back. We then notice Polly smirking as Cruze looks at her.

Sharper: “Well Cruze will be in the ring with Playtime this time.”

Knots: “Wasn’t that great last week?”

Sharper: “And Cruze said he’s going to focus on Polly tonight, then Alistaire at Rise to Greatness. So we’ll see how this goes.”

“Here Comes Revenge” by Metallica hits the speakers as the crowd roars. After a few moments, Chris Dumont storms out onto the stage. He looks out at the crowd for a moment before he begins marching down to the ring, his anger barely restrained as he's visibly trembling and ready to explode.

Phillips: “Next, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin... Chris Dumont!”

As Dumont reaches the ring, he hops up onto the apron and steps between the ropes aggressively, pacing around the ring like a lion ready to pounce as the fans continue to cheer for him. As he paces, he looks at Gavin who now exits to the apron to be sure. Dumont just waits, like a caged animal, ready to attack.

Knots: “Come on Chris. Settle down!”

Sharper: “Dumont wants every and all opportunity to get his hands on Gavin Taylor. He still has that steel cage loss on his mind.”

Knots: “He already ruined Gavin Taylor’s back-up title shot at Taking Hold of the Flame. If anyone, Gavin should be going for revenge!”

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments, we hear the sound of motorcycles revving. We then cut backstage to see Syren walking into the arena, presumably coming from her tour bus, flanked on both sides by members of the Cowgirls from Hell, Mackenzie Strader and Tearra Skye. The crowd roars as Syren walks down the hallway and we cut to the floor. A few moments pass before we see Syren walk out on the floor around the stage, joined by the two Cowgirls.

Sharper: “Syren returning to the ring after last week being arrested and she’s not alone. She’s flanked by two members of the Cowgirls from Hell!”

Knots: “They shouldn’t be here. Meghan was fired. The Cowgirls have nothing to do with SCW!”

Sharper: “Well you go stop them then!”

Polly shakes her head as Amelia looks on. Strader and Skye stop and then they look at Syren. Syren looks at them as they then get up and all three head to the rampway.

Phillips: “And finally, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren reaches the ring as we then see Strader and Skye run around the ring and they go after Polly’s guards. They step up, ready to stop them, but Polly turns as Syren slides into the ring. The crowd roars as the bell sounds. We see Skye and Strader grabbing each of the guards. The guards throw right hands, but Strader tackles one back against the announce table, while Skye grabs the other and moves them towards the barricade. Karl and Jack Barker look on before they go to help Polly’s guards. In the ring, Dumont lunges at Gavin. Gavin drops down and Dumont exits and runs after Gavin. Cruze goes after Polly as Polly nails him with a hard right and Cruze then tackles her down with a double leg takedown. Syren nails Amelia with a hard right as Nevado nails her back.

Sharper: “And the fight is on! And the Straders going after the muscle on the floor! Syren going after the World Champion. Cruze and Playtime going at it.”

Knots: “That rabid dog Dumont is going after Gavin. Run Gavin run!”

Gavin runs around the ring as Cruze nails Polly with a couple of shots. Karl and Jack turn to Chris to help Gavin, but Chris runs at both and clotheslines both down. The crowd roars. Karl and Jack roll over as Mackenzie and Tearra continue to fight with the guards. Dean Black runs down, joined by Dillusion, and other officials, before we see Gavin slide into the ring and run over and grabs Cruze from behind and nail him in the back of the head once and then again and again before throwing him off. He then turns and pulls Polly up. Gavin then gives her a thumbs up before Cruze gets up and runs at Gavin and Polly. Polly ducks as Cruze clothesline Gavin in the back of the head. Gavin goes through the ropes to the floor. Chris then turns at him as Polly dropkicks Cruze down. Polly then grabs the top rope and hits a vaulting press onto Chris. Chris rolls over and Polly looks at him. She then backs up as Syren whips Amelia into the corner. Amelia runs out and Syren hits a drop toe hold. She then rolls through and into a front face lock, only to nail her with a uppercuts to the chest.

Sharper: “Chaos here in Kansas! Syren taking down Amelia. Polly takes down Chris!”

Knots: “And the Cowgirls are assaulting Polly Playtime’s guards!”

Syren rolls off as Polly heads over and nails Tearra with a hard right and then another before Dean Black comes in and Polly backs up, snapping at him. The officials pull Tearra and Mackenzie away from the guards as the crowd looks on. Polly turns back to the ring as Cruze moves to his corner. Chris looks at Polly backing up as Syren then drags Amelia up and runs her into the neutral corner. Syren nails her over and over and over with forearm shots. She then goes to whip her out, but Amelia stops, pulls her in and right into a side belly to belly suplex. Syren rolls over as Amelia gets up and tags in Polly. Polly climbs up to the top rope and Syren gets up as Polly hits a crossbody. She then hammers away on Syren for good measure before getting up and walking around the ring.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime off the top! Nevado tagging out and Polly has had her issues with Syren.”

Knots: “Just everyone at their fever pitch!”

Syren turns and Polly runs over and stomps Syren in the back of the head and then stomps her again and again before grabbing her and pulling her up and nailing her with a hard right and then another and another. She whips her across the ring into the opposite corner. Polly runs after and Syren gets a boot up. Polly staggers out and Syren runs out and hits a discus clothesline. She then turns and tags in Cruze. Cruze enters the ring as Polly moves back and tags in Gavin. Gavin enters the ring and runs at Cruze, who immediately launches him with a back drop. Gavin rolls over and yells out and turns around as Cruze clotheslines him down. He then turns and feigns tagging in Chris. Dumont smirks as Gavin gets up and runs up and goes for a hard right. Cruze blocks it and nails Gavin with a hard right and then another and another. He then pushes him into the ropes and fires him off. Gavin bounces off and Cruze hits another back drop. Gavin rolls over and moves to the ropes. Cruze goes over to him and Polly runs over and rakes the eyes of Cruze. Cruze staggers back and Gavin gets up and hits the Dependable Roundhouse.

Knots: “The teamwork! Gavin helped Polly early! Now Polly helps Gavin!”

Sharper: “And then the Dependable Roundhouse!”

Taylor goes for the pin.

(2) Dumont is forced out of the ring as Gavin then slides in as Cruze steps up, but Polly enters and grabs him. Gavin then nails Cruze in the side with a couple of hard right hands. He then hits a snap back suplex and turns, tagging in Polly. Polly climbs to the top rope and looks at Cruze as Gavin holds him down and Polly hits the Too Much For You.

Sharper: “Polly off the top again! Gavin and Polly working together.”

Knots: “And you doubted that.”

Sharper: “Well, Gavin’s full of it, but-“

Knots: “What?!”

Polly then turns and stomps Cruze a couple of times as Cruze moves to the ropes. Polly grabs him and drags him out and goes for the Russian leg sweep. She rolls through into a pin.

Sharper: “Dumont buries the knee into Polly Playtime!”

Knots: “That’s your friend! See! Dumont is just a degenerate!”

Sharper: “Polly Playtime has gone her own path and Dumont clearly no longer willing to turn aside! Plus, he’s a competitor! He’s doing what your own damn boss wants. To compete! To wrestle!”

Dumont goes for the pin.

Sharper: “Oh what impact. We’ve got at one hundred miles an hour from the start!”

Knots: “All about putting Cruze, Dumont, and Syren in their place!”

Sharper: “And for Syren, Cruze and Dumont to let Taylor, Playtime, and Nevado know that they’re not going down without a fight!”

Syren rolls over as does Amelia. The crowd looks on as the referee counts.

Polly breaks it up. Chris rolls off as Gavin smirks.

Sharper: “Dumont nearly pinned the World Champion!”

Knots: “Oh God…oh God…”

Sharper: “And Playtime making the break. You can see the smirk on Taylor’s face!”

Dumont rolls over as he then gets up as Amelia rolls over. She reaches out for the tag, but then pulls back she turns to Dumont. Dumont gets up and Amelia runs at him and forearms him in the jaw once and then again and again. She then pulls him out and sets up for a snapmare, but Dumont turns inward and takes Amelia down with a fireman’s carry. Amelia rolls through and turns as Dumont then kicks her in the ribs and hits a release fisherman’s suplex. Amelia rolls over and turns and Dumont hits another Code Zero. The crowd ohs. Amelia falls to a knee. Taylor enters and runs at Dumont, but Dumont ducks and Gavin runs over to Cruze who catches him and hits a guillotine drop. Gavin staggers back as Karl and Jack then enter the ring. They run at Dumont as Dumont sidesteps Jack and then catches Karl with the Code Zero. We then see Polly’s guards going into motion as they go over to the barricade as we see the masked woman that’s been attacking her. They stop her and this time, manage to pull her down and over to the announce table. Polly Playtime sees this and drops down to the floor. Dumont turns as Gavin grabs at him. The official tries to get Jack out of the ring.

Sharper: “Chaos reigning here. And-“

Knots: “It’s that damn attacker! And Polly’s guards have her! Good! GOOD!”

Polly heads over to the woman who is struggling on the announce table. She tries to resist, but Polly reaches over and grabs the mask of the woman and pulls it off. Polly then looks at them, completely confused.

Knots: “Who is it?”

Sharper: “I…I don’t know. I recognize her.”

The person is revealed to be a brunette. She then looks around.

Playtime: “Who the hell are you? Who put you up to this?!”

The woman looks around, terrified, before we see Anansi Rivers crawl out from under the ring. The crowd roars as Polly keeps berating the woman, now grabbing them by the collar. Polly is then spun around as Rivers drills her with a Code Zero. Polly falls over as Anansi turns and runs off. The woman runs off in the opposite direction, hopping the guardrail before security takes her and starts to escort her from the arena.

Sharper: “Anansi Rivers…and was that a Code Zero?!”

Syren turns and sees Rivers run off as we then see the guard hop onto the apron, getting Demitra’s attention. They start to tell him what just happened. Demitra then goes to resist, but then one of the guards grabs Demitra by the wrist. Syren walks along the apron as Gavin whips Dumont across the ring. Gavin runs after and Dumont boots him in the face. Just then, the bell sounds as Demitra calls for the bell. The guards drop down as Polly looks at them and then smirks. Demitra leans through the ropes as Syren looks on.

Phillips: “Fans, as a result of a disqualification, your winners, Amelia Nevado, Gavin Taylor, and Polly Playtime!”

Playtime has her arm raised by the guards as Syren just turns, shaking her head, laughing as Shaun Cruze looks on. Dumont then turns to Polly, shaking her head. Amelia Nevado looks around, more annoyed than anything. Demitra hands her her World Title as Amelia pulls it away and looks down. She looks at the title and then Polly as Polly holds her arm up. Dumont turns and looks around, clearly unaware of what happened.

Sharper: “Demitra was focused on the ring…on the word of her guards?”

Knots: “Delatosso only hires the best people. And they made that clear. They can be trusted.”

Sharper: “Rivers attacking Playtime and now her guards…not just physically trying to protect her, but even helping her record!”

Knots: “Getting her everything she deserves!”

Sharper: “Dumont is incredulous. Syren and Cruze, look at those smirks. They know they’ve been hosed. And Amelia…are you proud of this?”

Polly continues to celebrate as Syren enters the ring. Amelia rolls out of the ring as Dumont runs at Gavin and clotheslines him over the top rope. Gavin rolls over and to the floor. Cruze turns to the stage as we see Allocco walking out from the back, joined by Bree Lancaster. The two talk to one another as they look down at the ring. Syren turns to the stage as Dumont just snaps at Gavin who is being helped by his guards as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see La Pequena Luz watching one of the monitors in the back. Luz shakes her head.

Luz: “Amelia…what are you doing? Is this really what you want?”

We then see Glory Braddock walking up to Luz. Luz stops and glances over to her.

Braddock: “Maybe it is what she wants. She wanted to be World Champion…that bad…”

Luz: “Glory…you don’t even know the first thing about her.”

Braddock: “I know that she sees me, like Selena, like others, as someone who she needs to beat at some point. And while Retribution was nice and all…we both know deep down, she wants it one on one.”

Luz: “Glory…I-“

Braddock: “No, I’m here for you. Because the fact is that I heard your speech yesterday. I know why you were in the Taking Hold of the Flame. And I doubt you’re standing here thinking whichever Frost she’s facing is going to beat her. You’re not that at odds with her decision.”

Luz says nothing, just watching the monitor.”

Braddock: “The problem is that may mean I’m in your way. I meant it when I said Apocalypse looked like a nice spot to challenge for the World Championship. So Luz…you said you’re going to go for round two to try and face Amelia in this match you have in your mind as so important for fate. Well, as long as she’s World Champion, others are gunning for her. So…”

Braddock looks at Luz. Luz turns to her.

Braddock: “Are you going to get there by doing the one thing Amelia seemingly can’t do? Beat me one on one.”

Braddock walks off as Luz watches Braddock as she leaves. Luz’s faces shows the realization as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Polly Playtime walking into her locker room, joined by her guards. She just smiles as she sits down.

Polly: “You know what…Quincy…Steven…that was great. Thank you…thank you for taking that step.”

Quincy: “We may be guards, but we’re paid for more than that. Delatosso did say you’re going to get what you deserve.”

Steven nods.

Polly: “Now, that I can get behind. Hear that SCW….if you want to finally get one over me, you have to actually BEAT me. Enough of these games. And Rivers….big mistake tonight….big mistake.”

Quincy: “Need anything?”

Polly: “No…just going to wait. See if Dawn will still be the golden child. Because right now, I think I can sense everything turning.”

Polly smiles as she leans back on the bench in her locker room, pleased. The scene cuts away.

We cut to another part of the building where we see Syren arguing with Dean Black.

Black: “Nice gag. To bring the Cowgirls in-“

Syren: “This is what happens when your boss starts to play these games. I just made sure I could get to the ring. And with people who are going to stand up to you, and Delatosso, and anyone else. And trust me when I say this…people think I’m just Infamous when they see my exploits, they forget I don’t go away. I fight!”

Black: “Syren…this is not the fight to have.”

Syren: “You know, Dean…I liked you better when you had a spine. You stood there and watched as CHBK was taken out. As Delatosso had Ravyn and Lexy kicked out. And Delatosso clearly is trying to replace the stars the fans want with stars he wants. They may be talented, but they resemble more what everyone thinks of me than some grand plan.”

Black: “You done?”

Syren steps up.

Syren: “No…if what happened out there is the new norm, more and more are going to see through it. And go tell Delatosso…tonight was just a warning. I will be here every week, and the Cowgirls, they’re just one group I’ve got watching my back. But I heard that roar out there. And I know Delatosso likes money or anything else. It’s why I’ve not been fired. I’m still worth something. So…we have an impasse. But just remember, I’m the girl that when I came into this sport, worked hard, and shocked the world, and earned EVERYTHING I’ve had. And I will earn it all again to spite him if I have to. So….tell him that. Tell him that Bree Lancaster can be his Premium Asset…I’ll tell him to just listen to the crowd. And he, and Bree, and everyone else can be TOTALLY jealous….”

The Kansas crowd cheers as Syren steps past Dean. Dean calmly looks to the side and nods as we see a couple of officials follow after Syren as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns to the ring where Jason Phillips stands.

Phillips: “Fans, the following contest-“

Before Phillips can continue, the crowd roars as Dylan Howell runs over to the ring, having come from the crowd and rolls into the ring. He then runs over to Phillips, interrupting him and Phillips looks around before Howell grabs at him and then grabs at the microphone and pulls it away.

Howell: “Hello EEEEEEEVE#RYONE! Guess who’s here!”

The crowd roars as Dylan looks around.

Knots: “Oh God…who left the cage door unlocked!”

Sharper: “Dylan Howell ladies and gentlemen…”

Howell looks around.

Howell: “And this is a big night! BIG night! Because all of you are going to bear witness to a historic occasion!”

The crowd cheers.

Howell: “It’s time for the first edition of the Dylan Howell Bodyslam Challenge!!!!!!!”

The crowd is a bit more mild in the response as Dylan runs around the ring and smiles.

Sharper: “What? Uh…Dylan…”

Knots: “I think I could probably slam him.”

Sharper: “Dylan Howell is not quite a super heavyweight.”

Knots: “He does probably bite though.”

Howell looks around.

Howell: “Now…who’s gonna bodyslam me! Huh…you…YOU! You mister tuxedo man?!”

Howell starts to advance on Phillips as Phillips backs up.

Howell: “Or you! The zebra!”

Howell turns to Steve Hollinsworth as Hollinsworth also backs up. We then hear a roar as Jessica Heart runs down from the back and rolls into the ring. Howell then turns and looks at Jessica Heart. Heart storms over to him and grabs the microphone from him, even wrestling it away from him a bit before Howell falls over. Heart turns to him.

Heart: “You have to set the rules, idiot!”

Howell looks up at her. Heart then looks around.

Heart: “The rules are simple…if you slam Dylan, you get a special prize!”

The crowd roars. Howell gets up and then turns to the microphone and grabs at it.

Howell: “I was getting to that Jessica!”

Heart: “Well then start to stretch or something. Because we’re out here and we’re gonna give the people a show!”

Howell: “Then what’s the prize, Jessica!”

Heart: “That’s a surprise! So, Dylan-“

Howell: “Uh-oh…we’re gonna be in trouble!”

We then cut to the entrance way as we see Dr. Grace Morningwood walking out from the back. She just looks at the ring, hands on hips. Heart turns to the stage.

Heart: “Mommy’s mad!”

Heart turns to the crowd.

Heart: “Well, guess we’re going to have to keep you waiting. But maybe next week we can keep her distracted longer!”

Howell then pulls the microphone away from Heart. Heart nearly falls over.

Howell: “Get ready to step up next week! Dylan Howell Bodyslam Challenge! LIVE! ON JULY 9!”

Howell throws the microphone in the air. Phillips manages to track it and catch it as Howell rolls to the floor. The crowd boos a bit as Heart then falls through the ropes and down to the ground. Heart and Howell head to the back as Morningwood waits for them. She then escorts them to the back.

Sharper: “Well that…that was interesting.”

Knots: “I still want to know what they’re going to win. If it’s even for twenty bucks, maybe I’ll step up!”

We cut to the backstage area, in the SCW interview area, where we see Jaina Lancaster. The crowd gives a bit of a mixed reaction.

Jaina: “Jaina Lancaster here and it’s great to be back. And it is an honour to invite at this time, the returning…Premium Asset of Supreme Championship Wrestling…Bree Lancaster!”

The crowd boos as Bree Lancaster comes into view.

Bree: “Thank you Jaina and great to see you back.”

Jaina: “Great to be back.”

Bree: “And don’t worry SCW. While you have Syren running around with thugs…having replaced the scalpel of Infamous for the club of the Cowgirls, you won’t need to fear longer. A true focal point for this company is here and someone who will push past this thuggery. The Cowgirls will be forgotten. Infamous should be no more. And the only one who will be jealous is Syren. I heard your speech before. There is no war. There’s just people sick of you being on our screens. And they’ve had few options of someone better until recently. And we’ll be dominating.”

Bree smiles.

Bree: “And fans can rejoice further next week when I return to the ring, make my long awaited first match back. SCW…you’re welcome. And better days are here!”

Bree Lancaster smiles as Jaina looks on approvingly as Breakdown cuts to commercial.

Flash vs. Soren Cross

A voice can be heard stating, “Step aside for the Man Who Could” before you hear “Go!” as the opening of “The Man Without Fear” by Drowning Pool kicks in. Out from the back rushes Soren Cross. He goes to the left then the right side of the stage.

“Can you feel it, the perfect day
Scratch the leaves, the paper tears
A world of evil starts giving way
A perfect day, a perfect day (Yeah)!”

Soren saunters down the ramp, eyes on the ring, with highlights of his time on the independent scene appear on the big screen, with Soren being shown flying through the air off the top rope, getting a flying forearm into the ring, etc.

“Suddenly you rule the universe
Everything once shapeless now clear
I visualize like a drop of sound
I am the man without fear”

Soren leaps onto the apron, then flips into the ring over the top rope. He goes to the opposite, and leans between the top and middle ropes, engaging with the crowd.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. First, hailing from Atlantic City, New Jersey, he is…The Man Who Could…Soren Cross!”

Soren steps back into the ring and leans into the nearest corner, awaiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Soren Cross making his Breakdown debut after a strong showing at Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Knots: “Yeah and he may already have a few headaches. Marquis Dawson called him out last week. Called out a lot of the new names that we saw in the Taking Hold of the Flame.”

Sharper: “Called out Cross’s opponent tonight too!”

“Until the Sun Explodes” by Sublime then starts to play as the crowd looks on. We then see a muscular man walk from the back, wearing a sparkling open robe and facepaint on his face. He steps out in his bleached-blonde crew cut and points to the crowd. He then steps up and flexes in the middle of the entrance way as sparks shoot out from behind him on the stage. He then points to the crowd, smiling, as he heads to the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Venice, California, he is Flash!”

Flash walks down to the ring, high-fiving fans. Flash hops onto the apron and then climbs up to the middle turnbuckle. He looks out and throws his arms in the air. He then hops over the top rope, landing on his feet. He then takes off his robe and places it onto the apron. He then starts to stretch out, using the ropes, as the music fades out.

Sharper: “And Flash is going to make his Breakdown debut too.”

Knots: “Well in-ring. Last week, he found out that you don’t be ANTIGA!”

Sharper: “Oh, stop that. Gavin Taylor and his cronies attacked him and for what?”

The bell sounds as Cross and Flash circle the ring. They then step up and lock up in the middle of the ring. They push back on one another and Flash pulls Soren in and then throws him back. Soren rolls through and to his knees, looking up. Flash then poses as the crowd roars. Soren nods and gets up and walks along the ropes. The two look at one another and lock up again. They push back on one another before Flash gets Soren into the corner. The official calls for the break.

Sharper: “Can’t match his strength, but can go to the legs, taking him down.”

Knots: “You’re all the same size on the ground. Well everyone but you there, Sharper. Too many Wendy’s cheeseburgers!”

Soren then dives over and locks in a side headlock. Flash rolls over and starts to get up. Soren holds on and Flash pulls him back into the ropes and then fires him off. Soren bounces off and Flash hits a shoulder tackle. Flash runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hops over Soren. Soren then hops up as Flash hits the opposite side of the ring and Soren cracks him with a European uppercut. He hits another one and then whips Flash into the ropes before running at him and hitting a third, this time diving, European uppercut. Flash hits the mat and starts to get up. He moves to the ropes. Soren kicks him in the ribs and nails him with a hard right. He then grabs his arm and locks his fingers. He then runs to the corner and runs up the turnbuckle before diving back and hitting a snap frankensteiner. Flash rolls through. He gets up and turns to Soren and Soren hits a front dropkick, sending Flash into the corner.

Sharper: “And Soren using his quickness. Great dropkick, and now nipping up!”

Knots: “Got a nice quickness to him!”

Soren nips up and runs at Flash and nails him with a hard clothesline. He then pulls him out and snapmares him over before running into the ropes. He bounces off and goes for a running senton backsplash. He connects and then pulls on the legs.

Cross looks back at Flash before turning and throwing his arms up at the corner. He drops down and steps through the ropes to the floor.

Sharper: “Soren Cross with his first victory in SCW. What a night for him on Breakdown.”

Knots: “Yeah and you want to win to start off. Always want to start things off right. Kinda like someone we saw last week!”

Sharper: “And speaking of…”

We cut to the entrance way as we see Soren Cross taking a few steps up the rampway as Marquis Watson walks down, joined by Pookie Williams. Soren steps up and looks at Marquis as Marquis jaws at him. The two share some words before we cut to the ring as we see Federico Gasperoni and Oskar Theron running past Cross and Watson. Cross turns, noticing them run past, but Watson spins him back, telling him to focus on him. The two get more and more heated as in the ring, Flash starts to get up only for Oskar to go for the leg. Flash goes down as Federico Gasperoni then stomps away on Flash. The crowd boos as the bell sounds again.

Sharper: “Watson and Cross getting heated in the entrance way. Cross saw the EFN run by-“

Knots: “Marquis Watson wants him focused on him. He called out all of the fresh faces in SCW!”

Sharper: “And is…is this cause of Gavin?! They’re going after Flash. This is an assault. The EFN is assaulting Flash!”

Knots: “His start in SCW only gets worse!”

Flash covers up as Gasperoni and Oskar continue to stomp away on him. The official tries to get them off of him as we see officials running down from the back. A couple quickly get between Cross and Watson for good measure as others enter the ring. Gasperoni then leans over.

Gasperoni: “Get out of here weightlifting boy. You look like shit next to me!”

Gasperoni is pulled back as Flash rolls over, wincing in pain. The crowd looks on, booing, as the scene cuts away.

Dawn Lohan vs. Deanna Frost

SCW Adrenaline Championship

The bell sounds.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV time remaining and is for the SCW Adrenaline Championship!”

The SCW Adrenaline Championship logo comes across the screen. “Emptiness Machine” by Linkin Park echoes from the loud speaker. Dawn Lohan pushes her way through the curtain. She stands in front of the entrance way, she takes a moment to soak in the reaction from the crowd. As the music is coursing through the arena she knows she can't delay the inevitable.

Phillips: “First the challenger, from San Diego, California, she is Dawn Lohan!”

She slowly makes her down to the ring, all business. She makes her way to the ring steps. When she reaches the top of the steps, she walks along the apron. Grabbing the top rope she pulls back, using the momentum she propels herself forward over the top rope into the ring. She immediately springs up. She walks to the turnbuckle, stands on the middle turnbuckle soaking in the atmosphere. She hops off the turnbuckle and remains in the corner until the match gets underway.

Sharper: “Dawn Lohan returned several months back. She’s finally getting her shot.”

Knots: “CHBK’s not in the way to obstruct and Deanna Frost finally remembered she’s a damn champion!”

Sharper: “Deanna Frost coming off winning Taking Hold of the Flame. This could be a huge match in the big scheme of things.”

The chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, wearing the SCW Adrenaline Championship, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Manhattan, New York, she is the SCW Adrenaline Champion, Deanna Frost!”

Hearing her name, Deanna stops her spin, side facing the ring, and, with one hand over her heart, her free hand arcs around to point forward, the 'leaves' flying down the ramp and 'circling the ring LED barriers. Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, but is immediately met by Dawn Lohan. The bell sounds as the Adrenaline Championship falls from the waist of Deanna to the mat. Dawn then whips Deanna across the ring. Deanna bounces off and Dawn jumps up and hits a jumping back elbow, knocking down the champion.

Sharper: “That’s right. She wins here, she’ll have Supreme Championship status.”

Deanna starts to get up and Dawn kicks her in the ribs. She then looks around before hooking her up and hitting a vertical suplex on the mats. Deanna grimaces in pain.

Knots: “Dawn is all over the champion. This is great!”

Deanna rolls over slowly and Dawn grabs her and runs her back into the ring. Dawn slides in after and gets up, driving the point of her elbow into the upper chest of Deanna. She then goes for the pin.
