“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid

Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie

Can't stop this screamin' voice

Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Asher Hayes hitting Dust to Dust on an opponent, before showing the Glimmer Sisters posing in the ring. Glory Braddock is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chris Dumont, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

This is the face

I hate the other side of me

Out of this cage

He breaks to take the life from me

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Phantom Troupe standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

I'm closer to the edge

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery

Insane

These voices in my brain

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see the Glimmer Sisters making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Polly Playtime posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Colleen MacDonald, Xander Valentine, and Amelia Nevado are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “We are live in Brooklyn for the final Breakdown before Rise to Greatness!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here alongside Jonathan Knots and on our final stop before Rise to Greatness weekend, we cap things off with Shaun Cruze & Syren facing Bree Lancaster & Alistaire Allocco!”

Knots: “The future against the past. It’s going to be wonderful, going to be classy, and it’s going to be a hint of things to come at Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “We also will see Amelia Nevado face Chris Dumont. She did accept the challenge.”

Knots: “And she’s going to rip Dumont into a billion tiny pieces!”

The chords of “People Like Us” by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, Deanna Frost steps out, holding both World Tag Team Championship belts, while wearing the SCW Adrenaline Championship. She starts to walk down to the ring.

Sharper: “Folks, you see Deanna Frost. And she is just over a week and a bit away from potentially being a triple champion. Not done since Christian Savior.”

Knots: “Yeah, but she has a bit of extra gold now.”

Sharper: “We can take you back to last week. Deanna Frost and Selena Frost winning the World Tag Team Championship, but Selena Frost didn’t want the Tag Titles.”

Knots: “Yeah, because she wants to be World Champion!”

LAST WEEK – BREAKDOWN:

We see the bell ringing as Selena Frost rolls off of Amelia Nevado. She looks over at Deanna as Deanna lets go of Luz. She looks at Luz as Luz looks at her and then Amelia before nodding and sliding back to the ropes. Deanna turns to Selena as Selena looks at her before Demitra walks over to Selena and hands her the SCW World Tag Team Championship.

Phillips: “Here are your winners, and NEW SCW World Tag Team Champions, the House of Frost!”

Demitra then hands the other to Deanna. Deanna looks at the title and slowly gets up. Selena just looks at Deanna before backing up and exiting the ring. Deanna steps forward. Selena sighs and drops down and looks at the title. She then stops and places the title on the apron. She then shakes her head before starting to walk to the back. Deanna steps up. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We arrive back live to see Deanna Frost in the ring. She looks at the SCW World Tag Team Championships on her shoulders and walks over to the ropes. She undoes one and hooks it over the top rope. She then does the same for the other. She then asks for a microphone. Jason Phillips hands her the microphone and Deanna turns and looks out at the crowd. The music fades out.

Deanna: “I’m sorry, but it looks like I’m going to be doing this again…third time these last two months. But it’s for a different reason…Those titles right there. And sorry for putting them up that way. I didn’t want to just put them on the ground, but they are a bit heavy.”

Deanna shrugs and tries to chuckle it off a bit.

Deanna: “But…one of those titles isn’t mine…it’s Selena’s.”

The crowd gives a mixed reaction. Deanna looks around.

Deanna: “I know…I know…it’s…weird. House of Frost, first time in years, teaming again. And we didn’t seem to always be together on the same page. It took us a bit. And in the end…you hit the Glass Shard and pinned Amelia Nevado. I tagged out. I let you in. Amelia stayed and…well…the rumour mill has read into it. Claiming I didn’t have the heart to put Amelia down. That I couldn’t get it do it. Or I’m still trying to give Selena my title shot.”

Deanna sighs.

Deanna: “I was just trying to win the match. Simple as that. I don’t know why Amelia didn’t tag out. It cost her. And I stand here with more gold. Gold I didn’t think I’d hold a few weeks ago. And now a week and a half away from maybe becoming a triple champion?”

Deanna looks around, pausing.

Deanna: “Me? Deanna Frost? I….I don’t even know what to say to that. But I know I have to get through Amelia Nevado. One of the fiercest competitors I’ve ever been in the ring with. And despite the result of last week’s match, proved it again last week. To those saying I can’t get it done…may I remind you that I hit Amelia with the Burnout and I know I had you down for three. But then again, you choked me out with the Blight Choke. And it was the scariest experience I’ve had in that ring since I was facing Veil. To think…you helped me get past that but gave me something new to fear.”

Deanna looks down, taking a moment.

Deanna: “But we both proved how quickly we could end it all at Rise to Greatness and win the match. To do what we want to do…both want to do. We’ve heard Amelia say time and time again how important this main event is for her. Well allow me to remove all doubt – I could do something we all dream of doing. And trust me, while I may have moment I doubt myself…this is the biggest night of my career and I will do what I can to not only give Amelia Nevado the challenge she deserves…a challenge the World Championship deserves…but also a challenge I hope that will make me for the first time…World Champion!”

The crowd roars. Deanna looks at the camera.

Deanna: “Selena Frost isn’t taking my spot. I am who is the challenger at Rise to Greatness and I will do EVERYTHING I can to live up to that moment!”

Deanna continues to look at the camera for a few moments longer as the crowd cheers.

Deanna: “But I also stand here with a title that isn’t mine…it is yours, Selena. And you deserve to hold it, to be proud of it…you won it. And I don’t know what to say about that, except-“

All the lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed” for battle. “Tongue Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. They join hands and look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant display of pinks and yellows. At this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience. Deanna looks at the twins as they walk down to the ring.

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters now interrupting Deanna Frost!”

Knots: “Can we cut to commercial? Anything?!”

Sharper: “They’re at least dressed here, but I don’t think we need to think hard about why they are out here.”

Once they reach ringside, they break the routine entirely and this time, Gia (we think) walks in one direction, Gina (we think) in the other. They walk around the ring and meet up again in front of the announce tables, but also where Deanna has placed the SCW World Tag Team Championships. They then pull themselves up onto the apron and look at the titles before then leaning over them, allowing the titles to hang as their breasts press up against the top rope. Deanna looks at them as the music cuts out. Gia and Gina before smirk as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “The Glimmers leaning over the World Tag Team Championship.”

Gia (maybe?) then motions for Deanna to come to her. Deanna stands her ground. Gina (also maybe?) then leans over.

Gina: “Don’t bother waiting for her. We’ve humiliated her once. We’ll do it again.”

Gia: “We’ll happily take these off your hands.”

Gina: “After we become US Champion!”

Deanna continues to watch the Glimmers as they remain leaning on the titles before the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we see Kirsten Scott in the hallway, doing squats, preparing herself for her match later tonight. The crowd cheers seeing her.

Sharper: “There you see, Kirsten Scott. To be in action later tonight against Glory Braddock and…”

Knots: “Oh God…he’s here.”

CHBK walks over to Scott.

CHBK: “Kirsten. Good luck later tonight. Just wanted to come and see you before you got into your routine.”

Scott: “What’s going on? I heard about Colleen obviously…”

CHBK: “A shame…but fortunately, there are other opportunities and unfortunately, time marches on. How do you feel about earning an Adrenaline Championship shot?”

Scott: “I know I’ve had a history with Deanna, so I hope that’s not all it is.”

CHBK: “Not at all. Just I don’t think Dawn Lohan being handed a title shot because of Polly Playtime’s injury is the best option. I know you wanted a fight with Colleen…but how about testing where you’ve gotten in the time off and making sure if Dawn is going to get a second chance sooner…she earns it.”

Scott: “I’ll give you a little spoiler…she won’t.”

CHBK: “Again…good luck tonight.”

CHBK turns and walks off as Scott smirks. She then returns to her preparations as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we open up backstage to see Destiny Page standing with The Vision in the SCW interview area.

Page: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Destiny Page here with Fiona Logan, Melinda Braddock, and Clyde Sutter, the Vision. And we know, Fiona, Melinda, that you will face Scarlett Carsons at Rise to Greatness, but we don’t know her partner. One thing we do know is that apparently, there were serious discussions of Colleen MacDonald stepping in to stand with her, renewing her rivalry with the Vision, but after Colleen was injured in a car accident before last week’s Breakdown, that’s now unlikely.

Melinda: “As we said on social media, it wouldn’t have helped her anyways. Then again, fate does have an interesting way to creeping up when you don’t wish it. Then again, maybe to a nicer person it couldn’t have happened to.”

Fiona: “All it did was ensure that Colleen wouldn’t be humiliated as well. But Scarlett, it’s looking like you may need to deal with us alone and if that’s the case, Rise to Greatness will be a showcase for what we will do in the tag division after Rise to Greatness.”

Melinda: “Hashtag…fate sucks. But then again, Scarlett, we’re going to prune the flowers in your garden and no one can stop us there.”

Sutter smirks, enjoying the comments of Fiona and Melinda. Page just looks at the two disgusted.

Page: “Back to ringside.”

We cut to a panning shot of the building.

Sharper: “Just sickening comments. Saying Colleen’s car accident was fate and even deserved…”

Knots: “Well, fate does creep up in interesting ways.”

Sharper: “For those unaware, Colleen MacDonald, our Television Champion was injured in a car accident before Breakdown, travelling to Portland. As a result, she suffered a concussion and a broken wrist. We have been told she won’t be cleared for Rise to Greatness and if the reports are true, Scarlett Carsons could have a long night awaiting her at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “She has a long night waiting for her tonight. She’s in action next!”

Scarlet Carsons vs. Federico Gasperoni

The arena goes dark without warning.

A low church bell tolls through the darkness. A single white spotlight snaps on at the top of the ramp, cutting through thick blue fog that pours outward like breath in winter. The opening whisper of SANCTIFY ME crawls in beneath it—soft, intimate, wrong—Maria Brink’s voice sounding less like a singer and more like a confession caught on tape.

The tron doesn’t play video. It plays stained glass. Cracked, fractured imagery of saints and sinners bleeding into one another. Faces half-formed. Halos broken. Wings burned black at the edges. The glass pulses faintly in time with the song’s heartbeat.

As the first heavy note hits—The fog explodes. Scarlett Carsons steps forward through it, already in motion, already claimed by the light. She doesn’t pose. She doesn’t acknowledge the crowd. Her head is bowed—not in humility, but in judgment. A long black coat drapes from her shoulders like funeral cloth, the inside lined deep crimson. Bare hands. No theatrics. No wasted movement. Each step down the ramp is deliberate, measured, like she’s walking toward an altar she plans to burn down. Blue strobes flash once—just enough to catch her eyes as she lifts her head. They don’t scan the crowd. They pass through it.

When the chorus hits—SANCTIFY ME—the lights snap blood-red, flooding the arena as if the room itself has been baptized in something unholy. The fog behind her swirls upward now, forming a silhouette that almost looks like wings before tearing itself apart.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from the Shadows of Westminster in London, England, she is Scarlett Carsons!”

Scarlett stops halfway down the ramp. Slowly, she opens her coat. The coat falls to the steel with a dull, final thud, left behind like a discarded skin. She rolls her shoulders once, loosening them, eyes never leaving the ring. The music drops back into that haunting refrain as she resumes her walk.

At ringside, she doesn’t slide in. She climbs the steps. She wipes her boots on the apron—not for respect, but ritual—then steps between the ropes and stands dead center, head tilted back as the final sanctify me drags out into distortion. The lights snap back to black.

One last white spotlight finds her—And then it dies. When the arena lights return, Scarlett Carsons is already in her corner.

Sharper: “Just when Scarlett Carsons thought her issues with The Vision were resolved when they disappeared, they've reemerged and become a thorn in her side all over again.”

Knots: “And she's been left all alone to fend for herself! Some friend Dexter Grant turned out to be!”

Sharper: “It's hard for anybody to figure out where Dexter's head is at, especially given whatever he's got on-”

Knots: “Don't even start with that nonsense, Adam! All that matters now is Scarlett once again finding herself all alone, and if The Vision wasn't enough of a threat, now she's going to have to pay for Dexter's sins as well!”

Body and Blood by A Perfect Murder plays over the sound system as Federico walks through the curtain, holding up his San Marino flag, wearing San Marino flag light blue flame trucks with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his trunks, wearing light blue elbow pads and light blue knee pads and black wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, kissing his biceps and saying he's got a perfectionist body.

Phillips: “Her opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab, from Dogana, San Marino, he is... Federico Gasperoni!”

He goes on his knees and flexes his body more and kissing each bicep before he gets off his knees and walks straight to the ring and steps through the ropes as he lets Ginny in the ring and kisses his body biceps each time and showing off his six pack and everything about his body, taking his body extremely seriously, saying he has the best body in professional wrestling before he lets Ginny out of the ring.

Sharper: “Federico Gasperoni, the former Television Champion, looking to prove himself tonight with Rise to Greatness just on the horizon, and he could definitely earn some favor with Delatosso if he can take down Scarlett.”

Knots: “She knows she's outmatched here, and deep down, she's probably cursing herself for ever thinking Dexter had her back or knew what he was getting into, because even if that partnership's over, she's still paying the price for it now!”

Referee Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell as both competitors slowly approach one another. Scarlett raises a hand, looking to lock up, and Federico just laughs and looks like he’s questioning if she’s serious. He takes a step back and flexes his biceps, mocking Scarlett, but as he goes to indulge in her request, Scarlett instead catches him on the chin with a thrust kick! Federico staggers back into the corner, and Scarlett charges in and follows up with a running knee strike! Federico staggers out of the corner before turning and trying to clothesline Scarlett as she approaches again, but she ducks underneath it and catches Federico as he turns with a step-up enzuigiri! He staggers back again as Scarlett turns and runs towards the ropes, springboarding off the second rope and back into a cutter that finally takes him down! Scarlett rolls him over into a cover.

1!

2!

Federico kicks out with authority, launching Scarlett off of himself!

Sharper: “Scarlett has been relentless so far! She’s all over Federico and not giving him a chance to breathe!”

Knots: “Or flex all over her. That kickout had some oomph to it, though… Scarlett should take that as a warning sign!”

Federico tries to get back to his feet, but Scarlett is undeterred by the strength in his kickout as she runs off the ropes again and catches him with a sliding lariat! She proceeds to step out onto the apron, shooting a warning glare at Ginny before she climbs to the top turnbuckle. Ginny chooses to try and rally Federico, smacking the apron and trying to warn him as he slowly pulls himself back to his feet. He turns and Scarlett leaps from the top with a flying crossbody, but Federico catches her! The fans boo at this as Federico takes a few steps forward before he just plants Scarlett into the mat with a big bodyslam! He smirks as he grabs Scarlett by the hair and pulls her back to her feet before lifting her again, this time connecting with a pendulum backbreaker! He holds the position, however, slowly rising to a stand once more as he holds her with one arm while flexing the other bicep to further boos from the fans, even kissing his bicep before he connects with a one-armed sidewalk slam!

Sharper: “Scarlett finally got caught, and Federico is just manhandling her with his raw power!”

Knots: “I bet she regrets underestimating his strength now!”

Federico slowly rises to a stand, motioning to his abs as he poses once more, the fans only booing louder. He turns and sees Scarlett still trying to recover before he walks over to grab her, but as he bends down, Scarlett throws her legs up and catches him with a triangle choke! Federico’s eyes go wide and the fans give a mixed reaction, leaning more towards cheers, as Scarlett tries to choke out her larger opponent. Jennifer Cassidy checks in, but Federico refuses to submit, reaching out to try and grab the ropes but finding himself too far away. After a moment, he proceeds to lift Scarlett off the mat while she still has the triangle choke applied! Scarlett looks a little stunned by this as Federico walks around the ring with her before he picks up speed and escapes the triangle choke with a running sitout powerbomb! Federico maintains the position for a pin.

1!

2!

Scarlett gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Scarlett caught Federico in that triangle, but once again he’s able to power his way out of disaster!”

Knots: “Scarlett’s learning the hard way tonight that sometimes, strength may truly be everything!”

Federico rises to a stand once more, staring down at Scarlett before looking out at the booing fans. He pulls Scarlett to her feet before twisting into an arm wrench, the force he puts into it dropping Scarlett to her knees for a moment. He pulls her over to the corner before he slowly climbs to the top turnbuckle and begins walking along the top rope in an impressive display of balance while still holding Scarlett’s arm. He slowly flexes his free bicep again, talking trash to the fans, but before he can actually make anything of this position, Scarlett slips her arm free and sweeps his legs out from under him with a spinning heel kick that causes Federico to land across the top rope in a very uncomfortable position! Several fans groan as Federico looks to be in agonizing pain, but Scarlett takes advantage to adjust the position before using the ropes to apply The Upside Down!

Sharper: “Scarlett leaving Federico in a very bad way and now looking to cause even more damage with The Upside Down!”

Knots: “Come on ref, disqualify her! Everything she just did is absolutely illegal!”

Given that Federico is technically in the ropes, Jennifer Cassidy proceeds to count for the break.

1!

2!

3!

4!

Scarlett releases The Upside Down and Federico tumbles onto the apron. Ginny moves to check on him as he winces in pain while Scarlett watches carefully. Federico slowly rolls back into the ring and uses the ropes to try and pull himself back to his feet, and Ginny hops up onto the apron to both continue checking on him and draw the referee’s attention. As Federico turns, Scarlett goes to spit the Dirty Pretty into his face, but Federico manages to sidestep it! Unfortunately for him, Ginny gets caught with it instead! Ginny shrieks and tries to clear her vision as Jennifer Cassidy turns to admonish Scarlett for the foreign substance, but Scarlett just moves past her and thrust kicks Ginny off the apron! Unfortunately, this leaves her open for Federico to angrily club her across the back before he lifts her onto his shoulders for the Recking Disgusting Bodies!

Sharper: “Ginny, perhaps trying to buy time for Federico, got caught with the Dirty Pretty and now she’s down and blinded right in front of us!”

Knots: “How dare Scarlett! Make her pay Federico! Wreck her with this submission!”

Federico continues to try and bend Scarlett in half across his shoulders as Jennifer Cassidy checks with her, but Scarlett refuses to submit. As Federico continues to torture Scarlett, he slowly starts doing squats in the middle of the ring, treating Scarlett like a barbell. The fans boo this as Federico laughs before he tries to spin Scarlett out of the Recking Disgusting Bodies and into position for the Perfection Body Driver, but Scarlett counters by turning it into a headscissors that sends Federico facefirst into the nearest turnbuckle! The fans cheer as Federico staggers out of the corner and right into Scarlett, who plants him with the G.P.T! She rolls him over into a cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

3!

Jennifer Cassidy calls for the bell as "SANCTIFY ME" hits the speakers again and Scarlett slowly rises, just staring down at Federico as her arm is raised in victory.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, by pinfall… Scarlett Carsons!”

Sharper: “Scarlett able to overcome Federico’s power and use his vanity against him, and the Gun Powder Treason adds another win to her record.”

Knots: “I doubt Mr. Delatosso’s going to be too happy about this. He’s been relying on the EFN to enforce his order, and losses like this aren’t going to-”

Knots is cut off as “Nothing Feels Right” by Ozzy Osbourne suddenly overtakes Scarlett’s music, the fans booing as Scarlett’s attention turns towards the stage. The fans try to drown out the song with boos, and just as the first distorted riff growls to life, we see Clyde Sutter, Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan all step out onto the stage.

Sharper: “Wait a minute! We mentioned Scarlett’s issues with The Vision, and all three of them are out here now!”

Knots: “The Vision aren’t one to let go of a grudge, and Scarlett’s been a thorn in their sides for far too long!”

The Vision all slowly make their way down the ramp, with Melinda openly taunting Scarlett. Scarlett slowly prepares herself for a fight, despite knowing the numbers are against her. Just as The Vision reach ringside, Scarlett is suddenly blasted from behind by Federico! The Vision’s music cuts as Federico keeps clubbing away at Scarlett’s back, but she manages to shove him off before catching him in position for another G.P.T! This, however, is when Melinda and Fiona slide into the ring and Fiona runs past Scarlett, bouncing off the ropes before Scarlett is wiped out by the Vision’s Run! Federico takes a moment to get his bearings as Clyde slowly climbs into the ring, motioning to Federico for something. He nods before hauling Scarlett to her feet and lifting her up as Clyde runs off the ropes, blasting her with the Unforgiven that sends her right into a nasty spinebuster from Federico!

Sharper: “The Vision just ganging up on Scarlett Carsons now, and Federico is helping them!”

Knots: “I bet Scarlett’s wishing Dexter cared enough to come help her now!”

Sharper: “That doesn’t mean she’s without help though!”

As The Vision and Federico all begin stomping away on Scarlett together, the fans roar as Flash suddenly bolts down the ramp! He slides into the ring and immediately wipes Federico out with a clothesline! He runs off the ropes and catches Melinda and Fiona with a double clothesline before booting Clyde in the gut! He throws Clyde into the nearest corner before turning and stomping away at Federico, but the cheers of the fans immediately turn to boos as we see Oskar and Dakon Theron along with Ludvig Eriksson all run down to the ring now, dogpiling onto Flash and hammering away on him. Scarlett tries to recover and goes to start kicking away at Clyde in the corner, but Melinda and Fiona recover and attack her from behind once more.

Sharper: “Flash trying to come down and help, especially since he’s had issues with the EFN targeting him for Lord knows what reason, and now the EFN is out here in almost full force!”

Knots: “That’s what this idiot gets for trying to be a hero!”

Scarlett and Flash continue to be beaten down by the superior numbers of The Vision and the EFN as the fans boo loudly, but cheers start rolling in again as we see Jessica Heart and Dylan Howell run down to the ring! They slide in just as the EFN turn to them, and Howell proceeds to scoop slam Dakon! Oskar throws a punch at him, but Howell blocks it and scoop slams him as well! He goes to scoop slam Federico too, but Federico blocks it and elbows him in the back of the head. He tries to scoop slam Howell now, but Flash grabs Howell’s legs and pulls him down before the two of them double clothesline Federico! Ludvig moves in and catches Flash with a european uppercut, followed by one to Howell. As he turns, however, Jessica gives him an innocent smile before she lifts her tank top and flashes him! The fans roar as Ludvig looks stunned and maybe a little interested, but Heart boots him in the gut before blasting him with a knee lift to the face!

Sharper: “Dylan Howell! Jessica Heart! They were supposed to face the EFN weeks ago and instead embarrassed them!”

Knots: “You’ve got to be kidding me! Can The Vision leave Scarlett be for a moment and turn around to help them!?”

The EFN slowly roll out of the ring, with Oskar going to collect Ginny as she’s still trying to clean the Dirty Pretty from her eyes. Howell and Flash both exit the ring and keep throwing themselves at any EFN member they can get their hands on as Heart joins them and picks her shots carefully to make sure the balance never tips against them, the fight ultimately moving through the timekeeper’s area and through the crowd!

As that’s going on, however, The Vision are still punishing Scarlett in a 3-on-1 beatdown, with us cutting back to the ring just in time to see Fiona throw Scarlett into Clyde for the Assassination! Any boos from the fans are because of this as we see Melinda start to climb to the top turnbuckle as Clyde hauls Scarlett back to her feet and throws her to Fiona, who hoists her up for the Boston Lager. She turns towards Melinda, The Vision perhaps looking for Darkness Falls…

“LET’S GO!”

The fans erupt as "Tears Don't Fall" by Bullet For My Valentine suddenly erupts from the speakers, and The Vision turn to see Kirsten Scott running down to the ring, armed with a steel chair!

Sharper: “Kirsten Scott! Coming to the aid of Scarlett, and she’s armed!”

Knots: “She’s not Dexter! She has no business being out here! Scarlett should be left to fend for herself, damn it!”

Melinda turns and tries to dive off the top rope to cut Kirsten off, but Kirsten leaps up and uses the chair almost like a skateboard to dropkick the steel right into Melinda’s face with enough force it throws her spine-first into the ring apron! Melinda crumples to the floor as Kirsten rolls back to her feet and slides into the ring, driving the top of the chair into Clyde’s gut as he moves in to cut her off before slamming the seat down across his back! Fiona still tries to plant Scarlett with the Boston Lager anyway, but the delay has allowed Scarlett to kick her legs and slide down Fiona’s back to escape, leaving her wide open for Kirsten to drop the chair and drill her with the System Failure! Fiona twists right into Scarlett, who scoops her up and plants her with the Black Veil! Kirsten grabs the chair again as Clyde rolls out to the floor, grabbing Fiona’s ankle and pulling her out of the ring as well.

Sharper: “Scott and Scarlett have taken the ring, leaving The Vision to regroup! And Flash and The Great and Secret Show are still fighting the EFN through the crowd! Absolute bedlam here in Brooklyn tonight!”

Knots: “I still don’t get why Scott’s even out here! She’s got her own match to worry about later tonight, unless she’s trying to use Melinda to send a message to her mother!”

The Vision regroup, all of them looking worse for wear and reconsidering any desire to storm the ring as Kirsten slams the chair against the mat, begging for them to come back in and fight. Scarlett eyes Kirsten warily while also motioning for The Vision to get back in the ring, but Clyde just sneers at them as he supports Melinda and Fiona while all three of them slowly back up the rampway, staring down Kirsten and Scarlett in the ring.

Breakdown returns as we see Dawn Lohan standing next to Jaina Lancaster. Dawn shakes her head as Jaina welcomes us back.

Jaina: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Dawn Lohan here with me, Jaina Lancaster, and Dawn…I don’t know what to say. You should be challenging for the Adrenaline Championship, but apparently, CHBK doesn’t think you’re good enough. You’re practically a hall of famer and yet…now placing Kirsten Scott in front of you.”

Lohan: “Should have realized that CHBK would book only with spite. While Frank Delatosso had opened a new path, now we are shoved in a different, darker one. Too bad it’s not going to work. You’re going to just pick a new person and feed them to what I know will be a historical inevitability. Nothing…nothing will get in my way. Some of you will look at my match against Deanna a few weeks back…that was a test. To see what her weaknesses are. Round two will go differently. And I’ll only need two shots…Kirsten Scott. You’re now just in the way.”

Lohan turns and looks at Jaina. Jaina smiles as we cut to another part of the building.

There we see Scarlett Carsons and Kirsten Scott. Scott walks over to her.

Carsons: “This was not your fight.”

Scott: “It may not have been…but it was Colleen’s. And after hearing what the Vision had to say…I’m not particularly thrilled with their view of things. So now…your fight is my fight.”

Scott walks past Carsons as Carsons smirks as the scene cuts away.

“Savior” by Skillet plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before Simon Lyman walks out from the back in a suit. He looks out at the crowd and takes a moment to absorb it before starting to make his way down to the ring.

Sharper: “Well folks, Simon Lyman not week last week and as a result, that opened up Marquis Dawson to be jumped after he successfully defeated Xavier Holloway in singles action.”

Knots: “David Belmont giving him a message. Another assault!”

LAST WEEK – BREAKDOWN:

We see Marquis Dawson walking into the backstage area before we see Pookie Williams following him and talking to him. Dawson smirks as we then see Soren Cross stepping up only to then get pulled back and thrown into the wall. We then see David Belmont running over and nailing Marquis in the side with a steel chair. Marquis goes down as Pookie backs up and then looks around.

Pookie: “The hell are you doing? Jumpin’ him. Didn’t get the hint last week-“

Dawson steps up, fighting to his feet before Belmont nails him in the back of the head. Dawson drops to the concrete floor. Belmont then unfolds the chair and takes a moment and steps over him and places the chair over Dawson, pinning him down. Dawson grimaces in pain.

David: “Simon’s not here to help you this week. To step up and be your savior…so I’m now picking up where I left off. So now we get to have fun in tearing you apart, so I hope your decision was worth it in the end, Marquis. And I want you to pay close attention to me right now because just like tonight's attack, I can do even worse things to you without batting an eye. Remember that the next time you decide to step up to the Gypsy King.”

Belmont then gets up and calmly walks away without another look on Marquis Dawson. Pookie waits for him to leave before running over and pushing the chair off of Dawson. Dawson winces in pain. The Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We cut to see Simon Lyman being handed a microphone by ring announcer Jason Phillips.

Sharper: “David Belmont threaten Marquis Dawson. And on top of that, we should add. You saw Soren Cross there. Cross seemingly was going to attack, approach, I don’t know, Dawson, but in the process, Belmont shoved him into the wall. Cross landed awkwardly and sprained his ankle. He is now on the injured list and likely to miss Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. He got caught in the middle of something else without realizing it and it cost him a potentially huge pay day. The Man Who Will…be watching from the press box!”

Lyman turns to the crowd.

Lyman: “Brooklyn…it’s always great to be here.”

Lyman looks around. The crowd roars.

Lyman: “It may be the last time I’m here as an active competitor. Just like in ten days time, I’ll be getting to compete at Rise to Greatness for the final time!”

The crowd boos a bit. Lyman holds his hand up.

Lyman: “I know, I know, but my body won’t let me do this much longer, and so while I pushed myself for the Underground Championship before, now, I’m focused on making sure when I do hang it up, the place is better off than I came in. And what happened last week, the one week I’m off as I keep doing physiotherapy to limit the worst…David Belmont then takes his opportunity to jump a young talent!”

The crowd boos.

Lyman: “You saw it as I walked out here. Marquis Dawson – we may have had a stiff conversation, but he’s proven himself in the ring. And David Belmont seems to have a problem with that. Then making threats…just because I’m gone for a week doesn’t mean I’m not paying attention and I’m not going to be right there to teach you a wrestling lesson you seemingly need. As I’ve said before and I’ll say again, I’ve seen every bully in this sport for over two decades. You’re not the first. You’re not the last. But you are the next who will get a lesson taught to them!”

The crowd roars as Lyman looks around.

Lyman: “And at Rise to Greatness, I’ll be coming to that ring, looking to send that lesson, while also seeing if I can go against some of the good young talent…Xavier Holloway. Marquis Dawson. To see whether an old dog still has some old tricks or-“

Shiesty Enterprises Presents…

That Mr. Hot Sauce Dappin’, Back Hand Slapping ’, Swagged Out Happening ’, Much Needed Seasoning,

Marquis Dawson

“DNA” by Kendrick Lamar begins to play as Pookie Williams steps out on the stage in his black adidas track suit as hypes up Marquis Dawson by yelling idle warnings at everyone. Marquis Dawson finally strolls out in a black Mink fur Vest and black leather pants and some old school Jordans. He stops slowly pans around the crow before flashing his bright white vaneers. Simon Lyman turns to the stage. Dawson nods his head feeling himself in the moment. He then begins to strut toward the ring.

Knots: “Looks like Dawson doesn’t care about what Lyman thinks. He’s coming out here to share what he thinks!”

Sharper: “Again, Lyman said it – Marquis had said previously that he didn’t need a savior. Didn’t need Lyman.”

He looks around to the crowd before jumping up on the apron. Pookie Williams walks up the steel steps and then into the ring. Marquis Dawson steps into the ring and steps up to Lyman. Williams then reveals he has a microphone in his hand. He steps up to Lyman, standing next to Dawson.

Pookie: “You really don’t get the hint, do you?”

Lyman: “Oh I know. He doesn’t need me to save his ass.”

Pookie: “Damn right. And you better recognize that. This man here is the future of this sport. Adding some spice and sizzle to a promotion that has gotten safe. People won’t be asking whether Underground or Adrenaline. They’ll be just askin’ when Marquis Dawson be coming round to whoop ass.”

Lyman: “And he’s shown he can go. You’re going to get no disagreement from me. But let me handle Belmont-“

Dawson asks for the microphone. Pookie Williams hands him the microphone and Dawson steps up.

Dawson: “Why? So you can feel good bout yourself. While you’re breaking down. You can pretend you still have it. I know the gas tank for you in running closer and closer to E. A real shame. I don’t care. I don’t care about your desire to be a savior. I don’t care about your hope to leave this place better. What’s gonna do that is me dropping Belmont on his head again. Dropping Holloway on his head again…and then beating your ass for getting in business you never needed to be a part of in the first place.”

Lyman: “May I remind you that he attacked me first so Belmont made it my business.”

Dawson: “Then fine…fight over my scraps!”

Lyman steps up as Dawson looks at him.

Dawson: “Because I’m comin’ to Rise to Greatness to usher in a new era of my own. And in the process, I’ll make Belmont and Holloway my bitch again…while cutting whatever time you have left close.”

Lyman: “Try it Dawson. I dare you.”

The crowd roars. We then hear a growing roar.

Dawson: “Your funeral. Because as I see it…you’re the one who’s held gold around here. That makes the target on your back bigger than anyone else’s and I’m not here to play nice.”

Lyman: “Well then-“

Just then, Xavier Holloway climbs up to the top rope. He then dives off as Dawson dives out of the way before Lyman looks up as Xavier hits him with the Code X. The crowd ohs as Xavier rolls through. Marquis Dawson just smirks as he turns and exits to the apron. He then drops down to the floor, joined by Pookie Williams. Xavier looks down at Lyman and then up at Dawson.

Knots: “Dawson moved!”

Sharper: “Xavier Holloway tried to jump Dawson, but hit Lyman with the Code X!”

Dawson then smirks as he heads to the back, alongside Williams. Xavier walks to the ropes and looks at them as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns as we see Kemal Yilmaz stepping out of the office of Frank Delatosso. Ginny Raab is waiting for him.

Ginny: “Talk to Mr. Delatosso?”

Yilmaz: “On the same page. Just have to get it done at Rise to Greatness.”

Ginny: “Before that…someone wants to talk to you.”

Yilmaz turns as we see Konrad Raab walk into the scene. The crowd roars as Raab and Yilmaz share a hug.

Yilmaz: “Konrad…you’re here-“

Konrad: “Schedules worked out. See that you’ve made the EFN your own.”

Yilmaz: “Have a number of intriguing deals. And just may have gotten a big one.”

Konrad: “Are you sure the price is worth it though?”

Yilmaz: “What do you mean?”

Konrad: “Ginny tells me that if you win the Underground Title, hand it over to Delatosso…you’ll get whatever you’ve agreed to. More opportunity? More European talent in SCW?”

Yilmaz: “Something like that.”

Konrad: “I understand this Delatosso guy doesn’t care for the Underground. Have you talked to Dakon and Ludvig?”

Yilmaz: “Maybe some things are bigger…”

Konrad: “Kim was even someone who respected us. Still the same?”

Yilmaz: “Look, I-“

Konrad: “I’m just saying…look in the mirror. Make sure this is the path you take. You have the skill. But is the future you’ve opened up what you want it to be?”

Konrad nods and turns to Ginny.

Konrad: “Now where’s the rest. I should say hi.”

Ginny: “This way.”

Konrad: “Come Kemal.”

Konrad follows Ginny. Kemal pauses a moment before following Konrad.

Glory Braddock vs. Kirsten Scott

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall!”

The arena lights abruptly plunge into a stark, cold darkness, and the crowd begins to buzz as the melancholic, clean guitar intro of "Tears Don't Fall" by Bullet For My Valentine echoes through the sound system. On the jumbo tron, a minimalist, aggressive new graphic replaces her old imagery: a pitch-black background violently cracks open with a spraypainted wall and the letters KS1 illuminating the arena.

As the whispered vocals drift over the speakers, a dim red spotlight cuts through the heavy fog rolling across the entry stage. A suffocating layer of tension builds as the drum roll hits its peak, and the music suddenly drops into a split second of absolute, dead silence.

“LET’S GO!”

Exactly on the word "GO!", a blinding wall of white-hot stage pyro and deafening concussion mortars blast upward from the stage floor while the arena lights erupt into a frantic, strobe-heavy crimson and white. As the smoke clears, Kirsten Scott and Hailey Brooks are revealed standing side-by-side at the top of the ramp, their wrists heavily wrapped in thick, black tactical tape.

Hailey looks intense and protective as the ultimate shield, while Kirsten embodies the apex-predator threat assessment of "The One," her head tilted at a cold, analytical angle and her eyes locked onto the ring. Without waiting or playing to the crowd, they march down the ramp together with a fast, mechanical purpose to the driving heavy metal rhythm.

Phillips: “Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Hailey Brooks, hailing from Your Worst Personal Nightmare, she is The One... Kirsten Scott!”

Hailey stays half a step behind Kirsten's flank, scanning the ringside area as they bypass the perimeter completely. Kirsten grabs the apron and aggressively pulls herself through the middle ropes, while Hailey slides under the bottom rope to instantly claim their corner.

Stepping to the center of the ring, Kirsten turns to the hard camera, slowly raising her right hand with her fist clenched tight before violently snapping it down into a low, coiled, feral fighting stance just as the song hits its driving chorus. Hailey steps onto the bottom rope, leaning over the turnbuckle to glare down the ramp, while Kirsten breaks her stance to pace the canvas like a caged animal, breathing in shallow, controlled bursts as she awaits the opening bell.

Sharper: “We've already seen Kirsten Scott making a statement earlier tonight, getting involved in a wild brawl to save Scarlett Carsons from The Vision.”

Knots: “Unless she was selfishly trying to send a message to Glory using her own daughter, she had no business sticking her nose where it didn't belong!”

Sharper: “Well clearly Scott's making an impact after returning, since we can now confirm that she will be facing Dawn Lohan at Rise to Greatness with an Adrenaline Title shot on the line.”

Knots: “An opportunity that was supposed to belong to Polly and settle a small disagreement within the New Order, ruined now because of that reckless idiot Chris Dumont!”

The first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begin to play over the PA system...

Phillips: “Her opponent, from London, England, she is The British Bombshell... Glory Braddock!”

Glory Braddock steps out onto the stage, wearing her ring gear consisting of purple spandex pants, boots, and a purple top. She really does look like a million bucks and grins from ear to ear, gazing out at the crowd for a moment before making her way down the entrance ramp.

I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity

People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal

The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron. She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory heads to the center of the ring and poses once more. Then the music dies down slowly...

Sharper: “While Scott has a chance to earn a title opportunity, Glory is hoping to bounce back from a loss to Asher Hayes weeks ago by not only winning tonight, but also overcoming La Pequeńa Luz at Rise to Greatness.”

Knots: “She wants back in the World Title picture badly and sees the Taking Hold of the Flame runner-up as her ticket in, even picking an awfully convenient time last week to question if Luz can beat her while she's worrying for nothing over Amelia. If you ask me, Glory should worry about this match before she gets too far ahead of herself!”

Referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell as both women slowly approach one another. They proceed to lock up, jockeying for position before Glory ducks underneath and spins through into a rear waistlock. She goes to lift Kirsten for a german suplex, but Kirsten catches her with a back elbow to block before she performs a standing switch to put Glory in a rear waistlock now. She tries to give Glory a taste of her own medicine with a german suplex attempt of her own, but Glory wraps her legs around Kirsten’s waist and pulls her into a victory roll pin!

1!

2!

Kirsten kicks out as soon as Hollinsworth’s hand hits the mat for the two count! Glory immediately dives onto Kirsten as she tries to get up, rolling her into position to roll her up into a bow and arrow lock! Hollinsworth checks in with Kirsten as Glory bends her spine over her knees, but Kirsten refuses to submit.

Sharper: “Glory gaining the upper hand here in the early-going and wasting little time in getting her ground game going.”

Knots: “Almost more of a sense of urgency from her that we’re not used to seeing, like she wants to end this quickly to not only get back on the board with a win, but also be able to go into Rise to Greatness as healthy as possible.”

Glory continues to bend Kirsten in half with the bow and arrow as Kirsten still refuses when Hollinsworth asks if she wants to submit. Kirsten reaches out, trying to grab at Glory to try and force any separation at all, but Glory releases the submission and moves away, putting some space between herself and Kirsten as she rises back to her feet. Kirsten eyes her warily as she pulls herself up, wincing from the submission hold. Glory moves in and Kirsten tries to cut her off with a right hand, but she falls for the bait as Glory catches her arm and spins through, looking for a crossface chickenwing now! Kirsten, however, manages to drive them both back and crushes Glory in the corner to break her grip before the hold is fully applied! Kirsten turns and begins laying into Glory with a series of right hands as Hollinsworth warns her to get Glory out of the corner.

Sharper: “Scott managing to avoid another submission from Glory and now just trying to beat her down in the corner.”

Knots: “It’s like the old saying goes: everybody’s got a plan until they get punched in the mouth!”

Kirsten grabs Glory’s arm and pulls her out of the corner, looking for a short-arm clothesline, but Glory ducks it and slips behind Kirsten! She reaches back, trying to grab Kirsten’s head for a neckbreaker, but Kirsten manages to twist before blasting Glory in the back of the head with a discus elbow! Glory drops to her hands and knees, and Kirsten flips over her and catches her with an oklahoma roll before just powering her up and planting her into the mat with something resembling a pumphandle powerbomb! She goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Glory gets a shoulder up! As Kirsten rises to her feet, measuring Glory for another attack, we cut backstage to see The Vision watching on a monitor, talking in low voices to one another as Melinda nods her head towards where we can assume the ring is relative to wherever they’re at, as if they’re discussing getting involved for a second time tonight.

Sharper: “Scott with an impressive maneuver there but only getting two on the former World Champion!”

Knots: “And she might be on the verge of finding out that actions have consequences! Wasn’t the whole FAFO thing her shtick the last time she was around?”

Sharper: “We mentioned earlier how Scott came out to help save Scarlett Carsons from an assault by The Vision, among other chaos that broke down. The question is, though… would Glory really want help from her daughter, unintended or otherwise?”

We cut back to the ring as Kirsten boots Glory in the gut to double her over, followed by a clubbing blow across the back to keep her stunned. Kirsten runs off the adjacent ropes and goes for a knee lift, but Glory blocks it by catching her leg! Kirsten hops on one leg for a moment before Glory twists into a dragon screw! Kirsten clutches at her knee, and Glory quickly grabs her leg and drops into a grapevine, trying to hyperextend the knee and force a submission! Hollinsworth checks with Kirsten, but she refuses to submit as she starts trying to pull herself towards the ropes as Hailey pounds on the apron, several fans clapping along to try and rally The One. Kirsten gets close, her fingertips brushing against the bottom rope, but Glory releases the hold before pulling Kirsten back to her feet, quickly hooking her before taking her over with a fisherman’s suplex, sticking the bridge for a pin!

1!

2!

Kirsten kicks out!

Sharper: “Glory showing just how quickly she can turn the tide of the match just by getting her hands on you if you aren’t careful.”

Knots: “Even targeting the legs, trying to take the System Failure off the table for Scott. For Luz’s sake, hopefully she’s paying attention somewhere back there, because Glory taking out her legs come Rise to Greatness would be a death sentence!”

Kirsten slowly tries to roll back to her feet, wincing and clutching at her leg. As soon as she’s upright, Glory hooks her from behind before taking her over with a full nelson suplex! She takes a moment to position Kirsten before stepping out onto the apron and climbing to the top turnbuckle, pausing only to shoot a warning glare towards Hailey to make sure she doesn’t try to get involved. Hollinsworth watches her carefully as Glory positions herself, glancing over at the camera and winking before she tries to go for the Blaze of Glory, but Kirsten moves and Glory hits nothing but canvas! A few fans groan at the impact as Glory pops up to her knees, clutching at her midsection as Kirsten pulls herself back to her feet, limping for a second before she manages to run past Glory and bounces off the ropes before drilling her with a nasty knee to the back of the skull!

Sharper: “Glory crashed and burned on the Blaze of Glory and Kirsten Scott has her in deep trouble off that wicked knee!”

Knots: “She might’ve worried too much on trying to show Luz she might be able to beat her at her own game come Rise to Greatness and not enough on making sure Scott was going to stay down!”

Kirsten grabs Glory by the head, hauling her back to her feet before hooking her and taking her over with a suplex! She pops her hips and rolls them both back to their feet before she connects with a second suplex! Kirsten pops her hips one more time, but as she’s rolling them back to their feet once more, the fans begin booing, and we see why as we cut to the stage to see Dawn Lohan making her way down to the ring, clearly looking unhappy. Cutting back to the ring, we see that Kirsten has stalled due to taking notice of Dawn’s presence, and as Hailey moves around the ring to try and block her, Hollinsworth leans on the ropes and warns the both of them about doing anything. Kirsten refocuses and tries to finish the One Off, but the brief distraction gave Glory enough time to recover as she kicks her legs to keep Kirsten from twisting into the falcon arrow before she drops and pulls Kirsten down into the Gloria in Excelsis Deo!

Sharper: “Gloria in Excelsis Deo! Glory managing to escape the One Off with a beautiful counter, but Scott may have a bigger issue now!”

Knots: “Of course she has an issue! She’s not even supposed to be facing Dawn for an Adrenaline Title shot at Rise to Greatness, and Dawn clearly isn’t happy about having to put her in her place to earn her rightful destiny as a Supreme Champion!”

Both women are down, but they’re starting to stir and work their way back to their feet. Glory seems to be the quicker of the two to get back up, but she also notices Dawn’s presence at ringside now and motions for her to leave. Dawn just scoffs and rolls her eyes before Glory grabs Kirsten in a front facelock, looking for the Beautiful Insanity, but Kirsten manages to shove her off. Glory falls to the mat and rolls through, and Kirsten immediately tries to capitalize by catching her with the System Failure, but Glory manages to dodge and Kirsten’s knee ends up smashing into the turnbuckle! Kirsten cries out in agony as she stumbles back, clutching at the knee she tried to use as it was the one Glory was targeting not that long ago. Glory grabs her arms from behind, slowly trying to twist Kirsten around for the Glorification, but Kirsten manages to lift Glory’s feet off the mat to try and block it! Glory kicks her legs, trying to make Kirsten’s leg give out on her to land in the Glorification, but Kirsten manages to free her arms and throws Glory off! Glory lands on her ass, stunned for a moment, but it’s long enough for Kirsten to lunge and blast her from behind with the Hidden Blade!

Sharper: “Kirsten managing to block the Glorification and that elbow strike has Glory in a bad spot!”

Knots: “Kirsten doesn’t deserve any momentum going into Rise to Greatness! She stole Polly’s spot because of her injury and she stuck her nose in The Vision’s business earlier when she had no reason to!”

Kirsten slowly pulls herself back to her feet, punching at her knee a few times to try and get blood circulating through it again to fight through the pain. As she measures a slow-rising Glory, her back is turned and she misses as Dawn suddenly lunges and blasts Hailey out on the floor with Through The Looking Glass! The fans boo as Dawn climbs up onto the apron, pushing Hollinsworth aside as he tries to stop her. Once Glory rises enough, Kirsten runs off the ropes, looking for the System Failure once again, but Dawn springboards off the top rope and soars over Glory to blast Kirsten with The WONDERFUL-Forearm! Hollinsworth sees this clear as day and immediately calls for the bell as Dawn mounts Kirsten and starts hammering away on her.

Sharper: “Dawn just cut Kirsten off with The WONDERFUL-Forearm!”

Knots: “And now she’s beating the hell out of her! This is why you should be careful about the fights you throw yourself into, Kirsten!”

Dawn continues to hammer away on Kirsten as Glory gets her bearings and realizes exactly what’s going on, especially as Hollinsworth calls for the bell again before trying to pry Dawn off of Kirsten, only to get shoved back again. Glory steps in and shoves Dawn off of Kirsten, getting in her face and almost hysterically berating her for interfering. Dawn responds with a forearm to the face that knocks Glory to the mat! Glory quickly recovers, but before she can do anything to Dawn, Kirsten beats her to it with a System Failure out of nowhere! Dawn tumbles through the ropes and out to the floor, and Kirsten wastes no time in climbing out after her, grabbing her by the hair and beating the hell out of her as Dawn staggers back with each punch before Kirsten hooks her and drops her chest-first across the barricade with a front suplex! As Dawn flips to the floor, Kirsten notices Hailey struggling to recover after being kicked in the face and kneels down to check on her. In the ring, Glory is on her knees, looking up at Hollinsworth in disbelief and trying to negotiate with him to restart this match or ignore Dawn’s interference and let it continue. The fans’ boos only grow louder as Dawn recovers enough to catch Kirsten with Through The Looking Glass as well, but clearly doesn’t get all of it in her desperation! Dawn starts retreating up the ramp, clutching at her chest and smiling.

Sharper: “Dawn managing to potentially get the last laugh tonight on Kirsten Scott before Rise to Greatness, but perhaps the bigger story here is that Scott’s technically won this match by disqualification.”

Knots: “Glory can cry all she wants about being screwed over and set back even further, but this isn’t about her! This is about Dawn sending a wonderful message to The One that she’s got an opportunity she doesn’t deserve and she’s going to be history if she thinks she can stop Dawn from making history!”

Kirsten slowly recovers, gently helping Hailey up as well as she glares at Dawn retreating up the ramp, outright warning Dawn that she’s a dead woman come Rise to Greatness. Glory, meanwhile, looks absolutely frustrated in the ring at this turn of events inside the ring, pounding the mat in frustration over how she was robbed tonight.

Chris Dumont vs. Amelia Nevado

“Here Comes Revenge” by Metallica hits the speakers as the crowd roars. After a few moments, Chris Dumont storms out onto the stage, clearly not in a good mood after last week. He looks out at the crowd for a moment before he begins marching down to the ring, his anger barely restrained as he's visibly trembling and ready to explode.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a twenty minute time limit! Introducing first, from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin... Chris Dumont!”

As Dumont reaches the ring, he hops up onto the apron and steps between the ropes aggressively, pacing around the ring like a lion ready to pounce as the fans continue to cheer for him. He continues to look around, assuming Gavin Taylor or the All-Star Secret Service may strike.

Sharper: “Chris Dumont will face Gavin Taylor at Rise to Greatness. But first, he’s facing Amelia Nevado. Someone who he was once aligned with last year against the Fall of Man.”

Knots: “He should’ve just walked away. He could have a nice little career. But now he’s going to find out how dangerous Gavin is and add that Polly Playtime also hates him more than ever…when she’s back…”

“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, hands folded in front of her and the SCW World Championship around her waist, though her head is down and refuses to look up. The fans give her a mixed reaction that leans more towards boos, and their reaction seems to affect her more than usual.

Sharper: “Amelia Nevado has been dealing with a lot of emotions. And you can tell, the fans clearly aligning with Deanna over her.”

Knots: “Who cares! She’s moments from having her moment. The moment at the top of the mountain. Standing over the Frosts!”

Sharper: “Unless Deanna can repeat the results of last week again at Rise to Greatness.”

Amelia continues to stand on the stage, noticeably trembling a bit now as she seems hesitant about heading down to the ring for her match. Suddenly, “Victorious” almost seamlessly transitions into “Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden as the arena lights return to normal and bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. Amelia's head snaps up, eyes wide as she slowly turns to look behind her, and the fans can't help but cheer as La Pequeńa Luz slowly steps out onto the stage to join her, a towel over her shoulder as if she's still willing to be Amelia's second for the kind of match she and Dumont were denied having.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by La Pequena Luz, from Oxford, England, she is the SCW World Champion, Amelia Nevado!”

Luz gives Amelia a reassuring smile as the two of them converse for a moment before Luz holds out her hand. Amelia looks down at it for a moment and then back at Luz's smiling face before she nods, a genuine smile of her own slowly forming as she takes Luz's hand. The two of them begin heading down to the ring, with Luz's thumb gently rubbing the back of Amelia's knuckles as the two of them continue to converse along the way. As they reach ringside, Luz lets go of Amelia's hand, but only so she can hop up onto the apron and sit on the middle rope, holding it open for her wife. Amelia actually laughs in disbelief for a moment as Luz insists, and Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes Luz is holding open for her. Amelia lingers near the ropes though, leaning towards Luz but hesitating, so Luz takes the initiative and leans in to give Amelia a motivational kiss that has the fans erupting in cheers! As Luz hops down off the apron, Amelia removes the World Title from around her waist as well as her robe, handing them both off to Luz as she begins a light warm-up in her corner while Luz claps and gives Amelia encouragement, though she's also notably keeping her eyes peeled, determined to make sure this match stays the one-on-one it deserves to be.

Sharper: “La Pequena Luz joining Amelia Nevado, being in her corner. And supporting her.”

Knots: “Trying to get the attention from her!”

Sharper: “I don’t think that’s the case at all.”

The bell sounds. Amelia steps up and extends her hand for a handshake. Dumont looks at it and more just slaps it before backing up, a bit hesitant. Nevado nods and the two circle the ring. They lock up in the middle of the ring. Amelia turns into an arm wrench. Dumont looks up and reaches around before then rolling forward and bridging up before ducking under and into a hammerlock on Amelia. Amelia reaches up and then low before up again. She then ducks under and around and into a hammerlock of her own. Dumont drops down with a drop toe hold. He then rolls over into a side headlock. He pulls up as Nevado reaches around and starts to get up. Dumont holds on and Amelia then grabs the arm and twists out and into an arm wrench. Dumont ducks under and around and into a top wrist clutch. He pushes Amelia back down to the mat, such that her back is arching, standing on her feet. Dumont tries to push her down. Dumont then jumps up and lands on her stomach, forcing her down.

1!

Amelia gets her shoulder up. Dumont tries again and Amelia gets her feet up. Dumont leans on them and then rolls back and Amelia jumps up and over Dumont into a sunset flip!

1!

Dumont kicks out. Both roll back. Amelia then steps up and grabs the arm of Dumont, but Dumont spins through and takes Amelia down with a fireman’s carry. He then locks in an arm bar.

Sharper: “And Dumont managing to keep up so far with Nevado. Nevado tried to take him down again, but Dumont got the advantage.”

Knots: “Lucky break.”

Sharper: “Luck sometimes matters, but right now, he’s keeping up with one of the most technically sound wrestlers in SCW.”

Amelia starts to slowly get up as Dumont holds on. Amelia gets up and Dumont spins her around and they lock up again. Dumont this time hits a snap arm drag. Amelia rolls through. Dumont tries for a headscissors, but Amelia leans forward. She pushes Dumont down.

He turns as we see Gavin Taylor step out from the back. Karl and Jack Barker start to walk down to the ring. La Pequena Luz sees this and heads around the ring. Dumont glances over at them and then sees Luz. He then turns and looks at Amelia before shaking his head. He drags her up, but Amelia then spins around him and hits a snap German suplex.

Sharper: “And Amelia Nevado with the German. A need intervention as Dumont was building momentum.”

Knots: “Won’t matter. Now that Dumont’s done, we can end this farce! Daddy’s home!”

Sharper: “Gavin here…and the Asses on their way to the ring.”

Knots: “Hey!”

Amelia looks up and sees Gavin as we then see La Pequena Luz stopping Karl and Jack. Jack points to the ring. Luz stops them and Gavin then looks confused. He then starts to head to the ring. He runs across and goes to nail Amelia, but Amelia ducks under a running knee. He hits the top rope and then Amelia grabs him and hits a half-nelson suplex. She then turns and walks over to the ropes.

Amelia: “Gavin! Leave! This is our match!”

Gavin looks at her and then turns to Luz. He starts to argue with her as Amelia then grabs Dumont, pulling him up and then hitting an armtrap neckbreaker. She then turns and goes for the arm. She locks in a cross armbreaker. Dumont yells out and then Gavin smiles. He then backs up as Luz glances back. Karl and Jack looks on as Dumont tries to roll into the hold. Amelia keeps the hold on and Dumont starts to move to the ropes. He slides bit by bit as much as he can before getting to the bottom rope.

Amelia lets go and rolls back.

Gavin: “Hey! You had until five!”

Amelia ignores him and grabs Dumont, hoisting him up and moving him into the corner.

Sharper: “And Amelia wearing down Dumont. Trying now to ignore Gavin Taylor who is a big distraction at ringside!”

Knots: “Come on! You’re risking injury, Amelia. You have nothing to prove.”

Sharper: “Maybe not to you. But it’s clear she wants to legitimately beat Dumont here. She wants to give him the match he wanted!”

Amelia hits another European uppercut in the corner. Dumont’s head snaps back. She hits another one and then pulls him out and hits a snap suplex. Amelia then grabs the arm and rolls him over. She starts to go for a Fujiwara armbar, but Dumont blocks it and then rolls forward and kicks her off. She falls back and spins around. She runs at Dumont and Dumont manages to hoist her up into a flapjack but she falls into a Code Zero. She falls back. Dumont goes for the pin.

Dumont gets her shoulder up.

Sharper: “And Dumont almost down for three. Amelia with a great suplex. The arm of Dumont, clearly hurting, as Amelia’s attacks there doing some damage.”

Knots: “And Dumont is too stubborn. Should’ve realized that was coming!”

Dumont rolls over as Amelia turns and starts to get up. She grabs Dumont and pulls him up and then grabs his arm. She wrenches it, but Dumont then forearms her in the jaw. He forearms her again and then hits a Code Zero. Nevado drops down to the mat. We then see Dumont look around and grabs Amelia. He slowly lifts her up before we see Polly Playtime from the crowd, climbing over the barricade, arm in a sling. In her other arm is a bat. She then rolls into the ring and Amelia looks up as Dumont then wrenches her arm. The official goes to stop Polly, but Polly steps up and swings, but Amelia shoves Dumont out of the way and Polly nails Amelia in the ribs. The crowd ohs and the bell sounds. Luz turns and this allows Jack and Karl to rush the ring.

Sharper: “Polly Playtime from the crowd! Trying to get some revenge!”

Knots: “And she got Amelia! Polly! What are you doing?!”

Sharper: “Amelia shoved Dumont out of the way! And now here come Karl and Jack Barker!”

Polly looks at Dumont as Dumont steps up, only for Karl and Jack to both go for Dumont’s knees from behind. Dumont goes down as Gavin smiles. Luz turns and slides into the ring as Karl and Jack stomp away on Dumont. Dumont covers up as Luz goes over to Amelia and then gets up and grabs Karl and pulls him off and then grabs Jack. Gavin enters the ring as Polly points the bat at Luz. Luz looks at her before Gavin then grabs Dumont and throws him over to the corner. He follows up with a stomp to the ribs and then another. Luz runs over and pulls him off. Gavin then turns and looks at Amelia and then to Luz. Amelia gets up and winces and steps up, getting up in Gavin’s face as Polly looks at her with annoyance. We then see officials coming down from the back. The crowd looks on as the Light in the Darkness and Gavin and Polly all watch one another .Dumont winces in pain in the corner as the scene cuts away.

We open up to see CHBK and Frank Delatosso watching the monitor in CHBK’s office.

CHBK: “Looks like someone is finally waking up.”

Delatosso: “How? They are wanting to win legitimately. Polly and Gavin got a bit overzealous. Amelia is still a fine champion and I look forward to some of the great matchups we can have in SCW. Nevado against Allocco. Nevado against Lancaster. Nevado against Taylor.”

CHBK: “Amelia is a great wrestler. But you shouldn’t count out Deanna. She did run the table in the Shot of Adrenaline Tournament, as much as you wished that tournament would go away.”

Delatosso: “And it caused a headache that nearly put Rise to Greatness in jeopardy. But fortunately, I had a back-up plan regardless.”

CHBK: “Nothing you can do-“

Delatosso: “Not if I had the matter submitted before you made your…triumphant return last week. I’ve credentialed a special enforcer for Rise to Greatness.”

Delatosso smirks.

Delatosso: “Selena Frost.”

The crowd boos.

Delatosso: “Let’s see if she really is as…beneficent. One way or another…she’ll have a front row seat to whomever walks our World Champion.”

We cut to the ring to see Amelia Nevado watching this on the big screen while still in the ring. She looks up and then down before turning to Luz. She then shakes her head.

Sharper: “Selena Frost is the special enforcer for the World Title match at Rise to Greatness?!”

Knots: “Brilliant! Making her eat crow and in the process, Amelia Nevado can beat both Frosts at the same time!”

Sharper: “Nevado doesn’t look too thrilled…”

Knots: “She’s just catching her breath.”

Nevado looks around as the scene cuts away.

We see a collection of computer generated screens spinning around, showing shots from Rise to Greatness in past years, including a shot of Steve Griffin hitting CHBK with the Decimator off the top rope at the first Rise to Greatness, before cutting to show Cid Turner last year holding the SCW World Championship, and then showing James Exeter going for a shooting star press only to be caught by Shawn Winters.

“This is your Rise to Greatness Rewind.”

We open up in 2008 where Jay Gold, Matt Hodges, and Brian Kinney compete for the SCW World Championship. Gold grabs Hodges and then drops him down with the Golden Moment! The crowd erupts in cheers and Gold slowly rolls Hodges over.

Johnson: “No! He just hit the Golden Moment!”

Dawson: “Could this be the third SCW Championship he wins with this maneuver?”

Gold then hooks the leg.

Kinney dives over and breaks up the pin. The crowd ohs again and Gold slowly starts to get up. Kinney slowly gets up to his feet again and Gold walks over and grabs Kinney. He winces in pain and this gives Kinney a chance to chop Gold across the chest. The crowd woos. Kinney then knees Gold in the chest. Gold stumbles over and bounces chest first off the ropes. Kinney then grabs him from behind. He lift him up and throws him back with a release German suplex, causing Gold to land hard onto his stomach, after a full backflip by Gold. The crowd ohs and Kinney rolls over and slowly starts to get up. Just then, a camera is knocked over, briefly losing a feed of the ring. The camera switches to see Kinney getting up to his feet. He then turns around and we see Jason Wheeler in the corner of the ring. The crowd starts to go nuts, making noises and booing or cheering. Kinney turns and Wheeler runs over and nails him with a vicious spear. Kinney hits the mat and then rolls to the outside. Wheeler gets up and turns before exiting the ring. Kinney ends up at the ropes and Wheeler turns to him and speaks loudly enough for it to be picked up by the camera.

Wheeler: “Thought I was gone, huh…well…an eye for an eye.”

Wheeler then turns and walks over to the barricade. He hops the barricade and starts to make his way through the crowd. Security surrounds him as the crowd continues to boo. Gold slowly starts to stir and Hodges gets up to his feet. Gold turns to Hodges and Hodges suddenly kicks him in the ribs. He then gutwrenches Gold and the crowd starts to cheer and make noise again before flipping through and hitting the Euthanasia! The crowd ohs and Hodges holds onto Gold right into a pin. The referee goes down for the pin.

The crowd erupts, giving a mixed reaction and Hodges lets go before just falling back to his back.

Buffer: “Here is your winner and NEW Heavyweight Champion of the World…Matt Hodges!”

Sharper: “My God! What an end to a great championship match!”

Johnson: “Kinney was taken out by Wheeler…and HODGES! Matt Hodges is the SCW Champion!”

Sharper: “Matt Hodges is the first person to win both the Taking Hold of the Flame battle royal and then win the title at Rise to Greatness!”

Dawson: “History was definitely made in this one. And Wheeler….he took out Kinney! A lot of history there still.”

Sharper: “What a night! This definitely was a night of opportunity and night of greatness!”

Hodges rolls over and the referee is handed the SCW Championship. The Rise to Greatness XXIII logo comes up on the screen.

We return to Breakdown to see Amelia Nevado in the ring, holding a microphone, walking around the ring.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Amelia Nevado still in the ring. She asked for a microphone during the break and we just heard before the break that Selena Frost would be the special enforcer for our main event at Rise to Greatness!”

Nevado continues to walk around the ring before bringing the microphone to her mouth. La Pequena Luz stands in the ring with her.

Nevado: “The last couple of weeks…have been interesting. I challenged the House of Frost in a World Tag Team Championship defense…I just wanted to beat Selena or Deanna so bad…and yeah, I had you with the Blight Choke, Deanna. I’ve locked it on Selena. I wanted to remove all doubt. But that’s all last week gave me…doubt.”

Nevado pauses as the crowd gives a mixed reaction.

Nevado: “And Deanna, you’re right. You made the smart choice. You tagged out…my ego got in the way.”

Nevado turns to Luz and then pauses again before saying sorry to Luz outside of the range of the microphone. Luz just assures her.

Nevado: “I then agreed to face Chris Dumont and just wanted to compete. Wanted to beat him straight up. Give him a clean match. To wrestle as I know I can and to get it done. Gavin Taylor getting involved, not surprising. But between Gavin and Polly, I no longer see people wishing for opportunity. I see two people who…I don’t know. But I can’t say I’m pleased with how things have gone in this ring when we’re in it on the same side.”

Nevado shakes her head.

Nevado: “And now Selena Frost is the guest enforcer at Rise to Greatness.”

The crowd boos.

Nevado: “I get why…Mr. Delatosso trying to give me what I’ve said I wanted…to beat the Frost family. But…I fear what this could do. Will it distract from Deanna, from me…from our clash. Will she have to get involved? Selena…just…do me a favour. If you want to be there to watch, fine. Better yet, to support Deanna…even better. But I hope you don’t get involved. Because I’m not sure if you’ll be able to handle your ego…your desperation. Why? Because I failed that test last week…and unlike you, I at least looked in the mirror and didn’t like what I saw. While you’ve doubled-down for years.”

Nevado turns to the camera.

Nevado: “At Rise to Greatness, I am going into this event the World Champion. I am facing an amazing competitor in Deanna Frost. And I will take on your challenge and do what I can to make sure I beat you. Beat you at your best by being at my best….and wrestling this match as I know I can. As a true champion, by my talent, and my ability alone…and earn what I have wanted for so long. No more masks…just trusting what I know I can do.”

BELIEVE IT... OR NOT!

“Thank You for Hating Me!” by Citizen Soldier plays throughout the arena, the SCW Universe deafening the song with their boos. The lights shift to dark purple and blue, filling the arena as snow is seen “falling” along the electronic floor and screens as, out from the back, walks the Snow Queen, Selena Frost, taking in the crowd of the SCW Universe, microphone in her hand. There’s no usual smirk as she just looks at the ring. Amelia Nevado turns to her as does La Pequena luz.

Knots: “Here comes Selena! Going to make it about her. Give Amelia more fuel to take her out!”

Selena Frost takes a moment as the music fades out.

Selena: “Amelia…”

Selena sighs.

Selena: “I didn’t ask to be named special enforcer. I…I don’t even know what I’m going to do.”

Amelia: “Selena…I struggle to believe that.”

Selena nods and scoffs.

Selena: “I could see why. And trust me, part of me wishes I was facing you at Rise to Greatness. For a long of reasons. Hubris replays in my mind far too often. But…as I said…this is Deanna’s opportunity. I…I don’t know what else to say-“

Amelia: “With all due respect, Selena…we know what you’re going to do. You’re going to be at Rise to Greatness. You’re going to be at ringside. The SCW World Championship has been everything to you. This crowd doesn’t believe it when you say anything else. But Selena…you’ll have a choice at Rise to Greatness. And I just hope you make the right one for once.”

Selena: “Amelia-“

The crowd roars as we see Ryan LeCavalier run up behind Selena and drill her in the back of the head. The crowd ohs before cheering. Selena drops down to the stage. Ryan then grabs the microphone and looks at her as Selena winces.

LeCavalier: “Don’t worry. I’ll make it so she’ll watch from the hospital. But maybe I can take her place. Because unlike her, I won’t lie to myself or hide the truth. I want the World Title and my path will be through you!”

LeCavalier then stomps Selena in the back of the head before diving down and pulling Selena back before locking in the BODY/PRISON! She drops down and scissors her legs around Selena’s body. Selena struggles. Amelia and Luz then turn and drop down to the floor and start to head up the ramp.

Sharper: “LeCavalier jumping Selena Frost from behind!”

Knots: “She may not even make it! LeCavalier is ripping and tearing on that shoulder!”

Luz and Nevado get about half way up before we see Lucas Knight running out with Hiro Tanaka, Dillusion, and other SCW officials. They start to try and get Ryan LeCavalier off of Selena as Lucas turns and looks at Amelia and Luz briefly. He turns back as Ryan finally is pried off. She smirks as she looks down at Selena, who rolls over, holding her shoulder in pain as the scene cuts away.

Dexter Grant vs. Chris Lawler

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.

Sharper: “Chris Lawler looking to do the dirty work of Frank Delatosso here. And I don’t know if this is going to be on the up and up.”

Knots: “He can be a hero. Take out Dexter Grant tonight. End his conspiracy theories and then at Rise to Greatness we crown a new US Champion!”

Sharper: “Conspiracy theories?! CHBK is investigating them-“

Knots: “Because he wants to get revenge. It’s hardly unbiased!”

“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen show's a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant, wearing the SCW United States Championship, marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans with disgust. A few cheers can be heard, but they're easily drowned out by all the boos raining down upon him. He turns his head to his right just in time to see his faithful flunky Wendell march out behind him, proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by Wendell, from Off the Grid, he is the SCW United States Champion, the Digital Detoxer, Dexter Grant!”

Wendell eagerly looks up at Dexter, who smiles and nods in approval before he starts storming down to the ring, his disgusted look returning at the sound of all the people around him who just refuse to listen to his message. He jumps up onto the apron and aggressively steps through the ropes, marching to the center of the ring and turning his back to the hard cam as he points his thumb to the same “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” logo of his on the back of his vest. Wendell crawls into the ring and stands beside Dexter, proudly holding up his sign before looking legitimately confused as to why they're being booed. The lights return to normal as Dexter goes to Phillips to demand the microphone, but Lawler runs over and nails Dexter in the jaw with a hard right. Dexter staggers back as Lawler nails him again, the US Title falls off of Dexter’s waist.

Sharper: “Dexter was going to share his latest thoughts and Lawler not even giving him the option!”

Knots: “Good! They’re lies anyway!”

Lawler nails Dexter again and he falls to the ropes. Lawler whips him across the ring. Grant bounces off and ducks a Lawler clothesline attempt. Grant bounces off the other side as Jennifer Cassidy, the official, grabs the US title out of the way. Grant then hits a tackle, taking Lawler down. He rolls off as Lawler starts to get up. Grant heads over and kicks him in the ribs and then nails him with a hard right. Lawler falls to the ropes and Grant grabs him by the head, pulling him through and choking him with the top rope.

Lawler looks up as Grant pulls him out and hits a Russian leg sweep. Grant turns and gets up. Lawler rolls over and slowly gets up and Grant walks over and elbows him in the back of the head. He then nails him again and whips him into the corner. Grant runs after and Lawler gets an elbow up to the jaw of Grant. Grant staggers back and Lawler steps out and just clotheslines him down. Grant turns and rolls over. Lawler grabs him and pulls him up and hits a throat thrust. Grant falls back into the ropes. Lawler then nails him with a hard right hand and the a left to the jaw before spinning through into a spinning back fist. Grant falls into the corner. Lawler grabs him and pulls him up. He hen hoists him up and just drops him with a snap back suplex. He then hooks the leg.

Sharper: “Have you met our CEO?”

Knots: “He’s a wonderful man. He’s also in a position to force things on people!”

He then starts to tap out. The crowd roars as the bell sounds. Grant then lets go and rolls over, but we then see Oskar Theron sliding into the ring. Joining him is Federico Gasperoni. Theron runs over and stomps Grant in the head and then body. Federico runs over and joins Oskar, attacking him. The crowd boos.

Sharper: “Grant wins, defeating Chris Lawler, but now, Oskar Theron. Federico Gasperoni. The EFN looking to cause more damage tonight!”

Knots: “Grant put a target on his back. He’s not getting out of this, especially while he’s still US Champion.”

Marie Jones steps out from the back, but then stops and looks down.

Sharper: “Marie Jones, looking on. Not getting involved.”

Knots: “Why would she? Grant ran when they faced each other!”

Marie just smirks as Oskar and Federico continue to assault Grant. Grant covers up as Wendell looks on, unsure of what to do, before suddenly, “Sitting on Top of the World” by Chris Goss starts to play.

Knots: “What is this…what?”

Sharper: “I don’t know…but wait…wait! Look!”

Knots: “No! No! She’s fired! She’s gone! She’s fired!”

The crowd roars as we see Meghan Strader storming out from the back. Strader runs down to the ring and slides into the ring. Federico runs at her and she drops down and just hits the Don’t **** with Me and Gasperoni drops. Oskar then runs at her and Strader ducks a clothesline. He turns around and then Strader catches him and hits the Blackened. The crowd roars as Oskar rolls out of the ring. Chris then gets up and Strader clotheslines him up and over. Grant winces and stirs, starting to get up. Strader turns and looks at him and then shrugs before kicking him in the ribs and then double underhooking him and hitting the My Friend of Misery!

Sharper: “Meghan Strader back in an SCW ring! And just cleared it with the exclamation point on the SCW United States Champion! The man who beat her!”

Knots: “No! She can’t be back!”

Sharper: “I think we know how!”

Meghan gets up and looks around as the crowd erupts. The fans chant for Meghan Strader as she looks around. Marie Jones continues to look on. Meghan gives her a look before she then looks around at the people down around her. She then looks at the US Championship that Wendell holds. Meghan walks over to the ropes and looks at it.

Sharper: “Meghan Strader back in SCW! Back here and I think she just made it clear what she’s back for first!”

She then smirks before turning back. The crowd looks on, still chanting for her as the scene cuts away.

Breakdown returns as we see Meghan Strader walking backstage over to her fellow Cowgirls who are standing with her, seemingly also protecting her. Tearra Skye, Mackenzie Strader, Veronica Strader, Tamika Strader, and Tiffany Lee stand around her as we see Jessica Winters in the middle joined by CHBK. Meghan Strader walks over to the two.

Winters: “Well, we just saw the return of Meghan Strader before the commercial break and now I have the Cowgirls here with CHBK.”

CHBK: “Well, I always have a few more surprises and this one was an easy one. I felt that Lucas Knight deserved a little extra sorry for getting unceremoniously fired a few weeks back and along with his return and his promotion well….he asked for only one more thing….”hire that bitch back.” That was his words. Meghan…welcome back. You have your new contract. And I think you can take it from here!”

The crowd roars as the Cowgirls cheer too. CHBK and Meghan shake hands as Meghan steps up and looks around.

Meghan Strader: “You know, our family is cursed to have management teams working against our goals. It started with mine and Tamika’s father, the legendary late Scott Nash Strader. Even with our uncles, Payton and Kaleb and others. It increased with Meeks and myself because we are women. Loud and proud women who stepped out of our family’s shadow as third generation wrestlers. It isn’t easy trying to be your own when your dad and uncles have near a hundred different championships to their names, twenty of them world tag team championships and a dozen world titles. But with Tamika we set a gold… no… PLATINUM standard in tag team wrestling. Multiple Hall of Fames.”

Meghan takes her sister’s hand for a moment as they share a side hug, leaning their heads together to touch. Meghan turns to Veronica with a big smile.

Meghan Strader: “Then my oldest child here won a lower card title quickly in OCW as a rookie, held it for 6 months turning it into the most popular championship in the company. Then my baby sister beat me to a singles title reign holding it for four months. Ronnie going 16-0 to start her career and Meeks going 17-0… it inspired me. But I got really sick when my own cousin hired a lunatic to murder me and steal the company our old man built for us which Meeks runs now, making more money than it ever has. Thanks to Meeks, my cancers are in full remission and besides this slit scar across my neck and the many buck knife scars in my back and sides are no longer a hindrance. I got into the best shape of my life and came here.”

Meghan runs her right hand through her raven hair, her icy cyan blue eyes brighten.

Meghan Strader: “I chose SCW after turning down other companies with people I had a positive history with because I needed to prove to the world, our old man and mostly for myself that I could have a successful career not as a tag team, but as my own person. I love what Meeks and I did, making the Cowgirls From Hell your favourite tag team’s favourite tag team. I started at the bottom, and I know it was the bottom because it was that little Smurfette shithead Polly Pocket I schooled twice. Then I continued beating damn near everyone they put in front of me, from Deanna Frost to Colleen MacDonald and others. I am a former Underground champion and two-time United States champion, which I would still be if not for you, Frank….”

The crowd roars.

Meghan Strader: “CEO Dickbag here is one of the pettiest assholes I have had to deal with, and that’s saying something after working under President Rob Robinson of the PWA before Meeks and I bought the company, as well as dealing with Marcus Welsh and that blue waffle Thadeus Duke in OCW. You screwed me out of my championship twice, removed my essence from the Breakdown intro and the Rise to Greatness advertisements.. which by the way, really hurt your numbers from what I have seen when CHBK showed me the books as it was part of why I have been given Syren/Valentine/Frost type money. But for me, it’s never been about money but I know this pisses you off so I gladly took it with draw bonuses plus a clause that I hope will give you a stroke…”

Knots: “What do you think it is?”

Sharper: “I have a guess…”

Meghan’s sneer burns and if looks could kill both her and Delatosso would be dead.

Meghan Strader: “I get the chance to get MY UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP BACK!”

The fans pop again, the vibration running through the building.

Meghan Strader: “Dexter, I don’t think you were in on the game, and while I appreciate you keeping the title safe for me… it’s time for it to come home. And I after I win my championship back my full attention will be on you, Del. You are gonna learn a lesson many in the back have already been educated with. God forgives.”

SCW Faithful: “I DON’T!”

Meghan Strader: “See all of you at Rise to Greatness.”

The crowd roars as do the Cowgirls. Meghan then joins them as they let out a yell as the scene cuts away.

The scene opens up in an unknown area as we see Asher Hayes walk in front of the camera. He looks down, taking a moment.

Hayes: “I wasn’t supposed to be here. Not in this way. I see myself as a World Championship contender, but proudly hold the SCW Underground Championship. I’ve beaten people with just as much heart…just as much skill in wielding weapons, and yet…I still don’t get that respect.”

Hayes smirks and looks up at the camera.

Hayes: “Same as before…just different. This time, there’s no one else I’m riding with. No Rachel Foxx, no Holly Adams…no Cid Turner. I’m standing on my own. I live and die on my own. And I need to step up…like I did against Glory. Proving that I can face the top and still fight. And still earn what I want. And now…with Uggo around my waist, I have three people coming to take it. One man is nuts…another is looking to end Uggo…the third…may be the most dangerous person on the roster. No matter what her wrestling showcase showed. And no matter what, people will hate us for competing for Uggo.”

Hayes then sighs.

Hayes: “That’s why maybe this was fated. I’m looking for that respect for myself…and now fighting for the respect of Uggo. And at Rise to Greatness, we have the platform. And on that night, maybe I show that I am the right champion for this moment….”

Hayes then holds up a couple of fluorescent light tubes. They then come on, illuminating his face and the baseball room he’s in.

Hayes: “And we give this the spotlight it deserves!”

Hayes smirks as the scene cuts away.

We then see a still of Syren & Shaun Cruze vs. Bree Lancaster & Alistaire Allocco come up on the screen as “Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays in the background.

Sharper: “Asher Hayes stepping up and we may see a match we’ll never forget at Rise to Greatness, but next, a huge tag team war – Syren and Cruze against Lancaster and Allocco! Don’t go anywhere!”

The scene cuts to commercials.

COMMERCIALS

Syren & Shaun Cruze vs. Bree Lancaster & Alistaire Allocco

The lights dim slightly as monks' chanting begins to echo out through the arena. As this does so, a lone yet dim spotlight begins to focus in on the entrance:

Dies irć, dies illa
Solvet sćclum in favilla:
Teste David cum Sibylla.
Quantus tremor est futurus,
Quando iudex est venturus,
Cuncta stricte discussurus!
Tuba, mirum spargens sonum
Per sepulchra regionum,
Coget omnes ante thronum.

The sound feeds kick suddenly into "Lux Aeterna" by Skyder, DRONSOND. The spotlight becomes super intense as a single man stands in its ray. His features were almost muted by the blinding light.  His defined muscles are visible, but that's about it. As he kicks his foot around at a loud beat of the song, he steps forward to face the crowd. Alistaire Allocco stands there, his eyes burning with judgment and fury. As he rolls his shoulder and poses there, a series of bright pyros fires off above him before the lights return to normal. Alistaire starts down the ramp, ignoring the fans' jeers and insults. His focus is before him, the wrestling ring.

The lights dim as a voice backed by piano music fill the arena.

{That's the price you pay.... Leave behind your heartache, cast away
Just another product of today.... Rather be the hunter than the prey
And you're standing on the edge, face up... 'cause you're a NATURAL}

As the heavy music of Imagine Dragons kicks in the lights come back up and Bree Lancaster is standing on the stage, her arms spread wide. She's wearing an open white leather knee length trench coat, trimmed with silver studs and a shiny silver scarf as a belt (a Scott Burnside original of course), over her gear. Bree looks up as white sparks shower down behind her from the top of the set to the stage.

Phillips: "From New Orleans, Louisiana.... she is The Classet..... Bree Lancaster!"

Bree continues to hold her arms out as she makes her way down the ramp. Getting to the ring she walks up the steps and waits for the referee to hold the ropes open for her. Stepping inside. Bree goes to the center of the ring, arms out wide again, and does a slow turn. Bree then goes to her corner as the music fades, removing her coat and draping it over the turnbuckle.

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage

Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, currently on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, and weighing at 235Ibs… he is the Impact Player… SHAAAAAAUN CRUUUUUUUUUZE!!!

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system. After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain, accompanied by Lexy Chapel. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering, as Lexy waves her arms, trying to get them to cheer even louder for her client.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Phillips: “Introducing, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, weighing one hundred and twenty-nine pounds, she is a seven-time SCW World Champion, she is an SCW Hall of Famer, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy before taking back the title. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy, as her music fades out.

Sharper: “And a familiar face at ringside with Syren!”

Knots: “Oh God…it was so much quieter without her. That trouble-maker!”

Sharper: “She will be at Rise to Greatness too and here we go!”

The bell sounds as Syren and Cruze run out. They meet Allocco and Lancaster in the middle of the ring. Syren and Lancaster trade blows as Cruze and Allocco do the same before Allocco goes low and takes Allocco down with a double-leg takedown. He then moves into a side headlock and hammers away on Cruze before Syren knees Bree and runs her into the neutral corner. Syren then hits a hard right and then a knee before another hard right before turning back and running over to Allocco and kicking him in the back hard. Allocco lets go and rolls out of the ring. Cruze looks up and nods before rolling out after him. Allocco turns and Cruze nails him with a hard right. Allocco staggers off as Aaron Demitra, the official, tells them to split apart. Syren turns around and Bree hits a dropkick, knocking Syren down.

Sharper: “Hot start here in Brooklyn!”

Knots: “And Syren took her eyes off the prize. Bree Lancaster, the ring general, making her pay!”

Syren starts to get up, using the ropes. Bree grabs her and chops her. The crowd woos. She chops her again and then whips her across the ring. Syren hits the ropes. Bree lowers her head too soon and Syren kicks her in the chest. Bree pops up and Syren turns back into the ropes, bouncing off, but Bree hits a back elbow, knocking her down. Syren rolls over and gets up by the ropes. Bree walks up and nails her with a hard right and then another and another and another before dragging her up and to the middle of the ring, but Syren punches her in the ribs. She punches her again and then turns and snapmares her over. She then hits a diving forearm between the shoulder blades. Bree winces and Syren goes for the pin.

He fires Allocco across and then hits a dropkick, knocking him down.

Sharper: “And Cruze reintroduces himself to Allocco! They’ll also do battle at Rise to Greatness!”

Knots: “He’s trying to injure him! Going for the head-“

Sharper: “He’s competing!”

Allocco rolls over and stirs and Cruze grabs him and scoops him up and hits a backbreaker. He then goes for the pin.

Cruze holds onto the top rope. Allocco rolls back. He gets up and Cruze runs at him, but Allocco catches him and hits a huge overhead belly to belly suplex.

Sharper: “And Cruze launched overhead. Those suplexes by Allocco are just deadly.”

Knots: “Good. Now grab him and make him pass out. Choke him out!”

Allocco grabs Cruze and pulls up and throws him into the corner. Allocco then steps up and shoulders him in the ribs once and then again and again and again. He then whips Cruze across the ring. Allocco runs after and hits a clothesline. Cruze falls to a knee. Allocco just looks down at him and smirks before pulling him up and hitting a fisherman’s suplex into a bridge.

He gets up and Cruze takes him down with a double-leg takedown and then goes for the Shaunshooter. The crowd roars. Allocco blocks it as Cruze keeps trying to step through. Bree then enters the ring and nails Cruze in the back of the head with the BOGO. The crowd ohs and boos. Cruze falls over. Allocco rolls over and moves to the corner, tagging Bree in.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster helping Allocco as Cruze had him in position for the Shaunshooter!”

Knots: “Yeah, but he never got it in and the teamwork of these two veterans got it done! Now Bree can continue!”

Bree enters and runs over, pulling Cruze back from Syren and then driving an elbow into his chest. Bree gets up and drags Cruze back again and then grabs his leg and drives her elbow into the leg. Allocco smirks watching as Bree grinds her elbow into his thigh. Cruze grimaces in pain. Cruze winces as Bree then gets up and grabs the leg and spins around it, driving her knees into the leg. Knots: “He can give up then. Keep himself fresh for Rise to Greatness!”

Sharper: “You know he won’t give up. He can’t give up. Not in the Cruze vocabulary!”

Bree then grabs him and drags him out and snapmares him again. She then pushes him down and goes for the pin.

He then walks over to the legs of Cruze and grabs the legs and then spins through and locks in a figure four. The crowd boos as Cruze yells in pain.

Sharper: “And Cruze now locked in the figure four!”

Knots: “Allocco going right for that leg. Going right for the target Bree put on him. You know what, they could be a great tag team!”

Sharper: “Well right now, they’re focused on winning tonight and then Rise to Greatness and then I assume the World Title ranks are going to be quite full.”

Cruze reaches around as Syren looks on as Bree smirks. Allocco leans up, adding more leverage. Cruze reaches around and keeps struggling for looking around and pumping his fists. A “Cruze!” chant breaks out and Cruze slowly starts to look around and then starts to move his torso, trying to turn over. Allocco looks around as he then looks back at the ropes. But he’s not close enough to stop anything as Cruze turns him over slowly and the crowd roars as Cruze ends up on his stomach, the pressure reverse. The crowd roars as Allocco yells in pain. Syren turns to her. Chapel shrugs. Cruze then drops to a knee and winces and looks over to Syren. Allocco rolls over, holding his jaw and Cruze then slides closer and dives, tagging in Syren!

Sharper: “Cruze drops Allocco! And here comes the tag! In comes Syren!”

The bell sounds. The crowd roars as Syren rolls off and smirks.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Syren and Shaun Cruze!”

Sharper: “And Cruze and Syren have plenty of tricks still up their sleeve. Lancaster and Allocco can say their times at the top are over, but tonight proves they have much left! Wait…wait a minute. Come on, Bree!”

Knots: “Yes! Shut her up!”

Sharper: “Bree with a cheap shot!”

Lexy Chapel jumps up and then Bree nails her with a hard right. Cruze turns as Bree turns and hops onto the apron. Syren runs over and goes to nail her. Bree drops down and backs up. Syren then sees Lexy down and exits to the floor. Syren looks at Bree as Bree walks around the ring and turns.

Lancaster: “Tonight’s not the big night, Syren. Rise to Greatness is!”

Allocco rolls to the floor as Cruze steps up and watches him as Allocco glares at him. Bree then heads to the back as Lexy holds her jaw, wincing in pain ad the scene fades to black…
