“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”
A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending,
followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on
CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr
pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of
Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then
see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to
a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme
Saturday: Just Desserts.
“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”
MAIN SHOW:
“Psycho
in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the
stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster
hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.
Maybe
I'm just paranoid
Or
maybe I'm just livin' a lie
Can't
stop this screamin' voice
Or
maybe I'm just sick inside
Shots
of Kandis hitting Gratuitous on an opponent, before showing the Fall of Man
standing tall. Katie Steward is next shown posing, before we see David Striker
diving over the top rope and Colleen MacDonald standing on the stage, smiling.
Shots of Meghan Strader, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow,
superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

Syren
is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the
Shinigami Foundation standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock
is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott
proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as
Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.
There's

the Glimmer Sisters making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a
steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria
Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Amy
Chastaine posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz
off the top rope.
There's
a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head
Shots
of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Waylon Creek, Xander Valentine, and Meghan
Strader are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.
We then
cut to a live shot of the inside of the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display
continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras
pan across the crowd for a few moments.
Sharper:
“We come to you from the US capital, Washington, D.C., for the final stop
before Taking Hold of the Flame!”
The
cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before we cut to the ring as we
see Jason Phillips in the ring.
Phillips:
“Fans…please welcome the beginning of the New Order of Supreme Championship
Wrestling!”
The
crowd buzzes a bit before “Taking Care of Business” by Bachman-Turner Overdrive
starts to play throughout the arena. The crowd looks on as boos then arrive as
Frank Delatosso walks out from the back, joined by Chris Lawler, Polly
Playtime, with her two guards, and Dawn Lohan. They start to walk to the ring
before the crowd roars and then boos some more as Gavin Taylor walks out from
the back and gives a thumbs up to the crowd and waves, joined by Jenni
Anderson, and his All-Star Secret Service: Karl Barker, Jack Barker, Religious
Wright, and Mr. Black. Taking up the rear is Dean Black. The group make their
way down to the ring.
Sharper:
“Well…last week, we saw the true aims of this group.”
Knots:
“The New Order of Supreme Championship Wrestling!”
Sharper:
“Polly Playtime and Chris Lawler assaulted CHBK, trapping him in a steel cage
while Delatosso and Taylor watched.”
Knots:
“Sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands, Sharper!”
Kayl:
“Just pathetic.”
Delatosso
walks up the steel steps and steps into the ring. Polly Playtime runs up before
her guards hold the ropes open for her. She enters. They then step in as Dawn
stops and nods before looking Polly, who ignores her. Dawn enters next followed
by Chris Lawler. Gavin Taylor and Jenni Anderson are next and Gavin holds the
ropes open for Jenni as Jenni enters. Gavin enters after before returning to
waving at the crowd. We then see the All Star Secret Service fan out around
ringside, Dean Black staying at the entrance way.
Sharper:
“And just look at this group of people and it’s not even everyone that
Delatosso has influenced or has influence over.”
Knots:
“You make it sound so seedy. He’s just giving people fresh opportunities.
That’s all.”
Kayl:
“Yeah, and instead of it being merit based, he’s looking to cast aside anyone
he just doesn’t like. Is that really what’s best for business?”
Delatosso
walks over to Jason Phillips, taking the microphone, and then looking around
the ring. The crowd boos as the music fades out.
Delatosso:
“Washington…it is fitting that we come here to the seat of power in the United
States, when last week, I unfortunately had to take matters into my own hands.”
Sharper:
“Convenient wording, huh, Knots?”
Knots:
“Did you not get a debrief?”
Delatosso:
“For the last year, we have seen someone who rode his legendary reputation and
refused to evolve. While he claimed to let the chips fall, to allow people to
police themselves…to offer different tastes of competition. Let’s face it,
CHBK…it was time for you to face what you told so many others…consequences.
Consequences took place last week.”
Delatosso
looks around as Polly smiles. Gavin does too.
Delatosso:
“Now don’t get me wrong – people think I’m trying to ruin SCW. No. I just have
a clear vision. One that rewards loyalty, effort, ability, and offers
opportunities to all not just the select few – the Syren’s, the Selena’s. And
for some reason the Kimberly Williams. Where skill trumps all. That’s all you
all want right – competition. And in this ring are just some of the best
competitors in the world. They just needed their opportunities to prove it. And
CHBK stood in their way. Playing to the old boys network.”
Delatosso
shakes his head.
Delatosso:
“Yeah, we had fun with Cid Turner’s Cinderella run. He should never have been
in that ring. Syren got another record setting reign. Her time has come and
gone. People are sick of her.”
The
crowd boos loudly. A “Syren” chant breaks out.
Delatosso:
“Others, if I even say their name, you would all rise up against. And nevermind
people like Kimberly Williams who offer nothing but cheap laughs and are a
disgrace to SCW, let alone professional wrestling. There are then those who get
the favours – Shaun Cruze. Getting a title contention shot at Retribution when
Amelia Nevado was on the sidelines. Don’t worry…I corrected that.”
Delatosso
looks around.
Delatosso:
“And last week, we had to make that change. While the Board of Directors
remained in awe of the aura of CHBK, I saw through it as did others. And as of
last week, CHBK is no longer physically able to fulfill the duties of the Chief
Operating Officer position. And for the time being, I will fulfill those duties
so I can show exactly what SCW can and should be.”
The
crowd boos.
Kayl:
“I’m surprised…no I’m not…”
Delatosso:
“And Polly…you’ve been one of the poster children of someone who deserved
better under CHBK. And I hope now we can get past our concerns and you can
understand that I do genuinely want to help you…”
Delatosso
turns to Polly. Delatosso and Polly shake hands. She then asks to say
something. Delatosso extends the microphone to her and Polly speaks into it.
Polly:
“CHBK…do the world a favour. Stay home, stay retired…and die alone you
miserable bastard! SCW will no longer be synonymous with you!”
The
crowd boos loudly. Delatosso smiles as Lawler and Gavin smile.
Delatosso:
“That would be wonderful. And Polly, don’t worry…when we complete what I have
in mind, he won’t be needed. And in fact, we can make a few changes. Because
well, Devon…”
Delatosso
turns to the announce position. We cut to see Devon Kayl sitting next to Adam
Sharper.
Kayl:
“Yeah?”
Delatosso:
“Devon Kayl…thank you for your service, but we don’t need you anymore. Such
nepotism is not going to be acceptable. Please get up and leave. You have five
seconds before I have you removed from the building.”
Kayl:
“Seriously?”
The
crowd boos.
Delatosso:
“Come on!”
Delatosso
turns to Dean Black. Dean walks around the ring. Kayl slowly gets up.
Knots:
“Come on Kayl. Screw off and go back to obscurity. Maybe CHBK put you in his
will!”
Sharper:
“I’m sorry, Devon.”
Kayl
shakes his head as Dean Black comes over to him. He goes to grab him, but Kayl
pulls away.
Kayl:
“I’m going.”
Kayl
takes his headset off and turns and starts to walk around the ring. Black
escorts him a few strides behind, walking around to the ramp. Kayl then heads
off on his own as Dean Black remains at ringside.
Delatosso:
“Keep walking Devon. If you try anything, you may notice the EFN isn’t in the
ring. But they are here and they’re throughout the arena. We’re making sure
this goes without a hitch.”
The
crowd boos as Kayl glances back and shakes his head before heading to the back.
Cameras cut back to the ring.
Delatosso:
“And we will continue to put our stamp on things. And it will now at least no
longer be constrained by a force that resists the future of this sport. Where
someone like Polly Playtime gets the opportunity she deserves. A figure like
Dawn Lohan can shock the world and see if they can make history. Someone like
Gavin Taylor who can reinvent himself and become the face of a sport….to Chris
Lawler who can finally live up to his potential without someone seeing him as
he did two decades ago. To embracing the sport’s expansion into new markets and
with new approaches….and finally, to allow talent to succeed on their own
merits.”
Delatosso
looks around.
Delatosso:
“You’ll be hearing a lot from us tonight, but we would be remiss if I didn’t
give someone the attention they deserve. Despite the farce we will witness at
Taking Hold of the Flame…our champion will stand above it…please welcome…the
SCW World Champion and soon to be next World Tag Team Champion…Amelia Nevado!”
“Victorious”
by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes
her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands
in front of both herself and the SCW World Championship around her waist,
looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards
the ring, trying to block out the boos she's now receiving. After a moment of
this, Amelia slowly unfolds her hands before she proceeds to head down to the
ring.
Knots:
“Now that’s how you start Breakdown. Hope and the symbol of excellence in this
sport, Amelia Nevado!”
Sharper:
“No one is going to doubt the talent of Amelia Nevado. But you wonder what
she’s thinking about what she saw last week, saw tonight.”
Knots:
“She had nothing to do with last week. Delatosso is just making sure that
Nevado can succeed.”
Sharper:
“That’s one way to look at it. And where, again, is Luz?”
Knots:
“She’s here. But this is about Amelia!”
Once
she reaches ringside, Amelia climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her
feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus,
Amelia removes the World Title from around her waist and raises it high in
place of her usual fist pump, which only draws even more boos from the fans, as
she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before stepping into the ring. She
looks at Gavin who just gives her a thumbs up. She then walks over to Delatosso
who hands her the microphone. Amelia looks around as the music fades out. The
boos continue.
Nevado:
“Thank you for this…to have a platform to represent the glory and skill that
this sport demands!”
Nevado
looks around.
Nevado:
“And while we may have to go through with this Lingerie Showdown…rest assured
that myself and my wife, La Pequena Luz, we will prove we are the greatest tag
team in SCW today. The Glimmer Sisters can have their fifteen minutes of fame,
but while they are proud of their bodies, I am proud of my body of work in this
ring!”
Nevado
looks around.
Nevado:
“This will be the last time this title is caught in this chaotic mess of a
situation. It should always be held above all else with respect. And while you
want to drag it down to your level, Gia…Gina…you will not succeed. Watch
closely tonight, ladies. You will see how a top tier team works. And so
God help me, this title cannot fall into your hands at Taking Hold of the
Flame. Luz and I will make sure it doesn’t.”
Nevado
then pauses for a moment before nodding.
Nevado:
“And then I will finally do something I’ve dreamed about for years. I will go
to Rise to Greatness to face off against whomever wins Taking Hold of the Flame
and I will showcase on the biggest stage in wrestling what I am capable of. And
NO ONE will be able to take that away from me!”
“Victorious”
plays again as Amelia brings the microphone down. The crowd looks on as
Delatosso smiles and walks over to her and raises her arm.
Sharper:
“Nevado firmly in line with Delatosso. Firmly standing up to the Glimmers-“
Knots:
“As damn well she should! Can you imagine if they win?!”
Sharper:
“Well, that’s a whole different thing. But then again, professional wrestling
has always been more than just one way.”
Knots:
“Says who!”
Delatosso
remains in the ring as we see Oskar Theron looking on from the crowd, serving
as security it seems, while showing Gavin Taylor walking over to Amelia. Polly
just stands in the corner, smiling as Dawn Lohan goes over to Amelia too.
Lawler folds his arms across his chest, standing behind everyone. We then cut
to the announce position.
Adam
Sharper and Jonathan Knots sit at the announce table.
Knots:
“Oh, it’s so much roomier down here.”
Sharper
looks to his right.
Sharper:
“Devon Kayl told his services no longer needed. What a start here on Breakdown.
And we’re just getting started.”
Knots:
“It’s a new day tonight!”
Sharper:
“And we have plenty to come and a night that Delatosso and those who have
bought into this vision-“
Knots:
“The New Order!”
Sharper:
“Well they’ll be busy. Later tonight, Syren will face Polly Playtime.”
Knots:
“Maybe we can get rid of Syren too. End Infamous for good. CHBK’s gone. Ravyn
and Lexy should be banned. Now just one more strike!”
Sharper:
“Chris Lawler to face Kimberly Williams in an Underground Rules match. I
thought Delatosso hated that-“
Knots:
“Sometimes you fight fire with fire, Sharper. Lawler is going to get rid of
Kim. You know, right before Taking Hold of the Flame. This could be great!”
Sharper:
“And as mentioned, Light in the Darkness in action. So much to come here
tonight. What else are we going to see?”
We cut
away.
Backstage,
we open up to see Dexter Grant sitting backstage with the SCW United States
Championship. Wendell walks over to Dexter.
Wendell:
“You’re still looking at it.”
Grant: “I
wasn’t supposed to get it.”
Wendell:
“But you did.”
Grant: “A
title that’s just blatant patriotism and for a Canadian company…to have a US
title…”
Wendell:
“So are you…going to…”
Grant: “I’m
not vacating it. I’m going to make it someone’s worst nightmare. Just like I’m
not going to use this as a way to distract me from humbling the Glimmers.”
Wendell:
“What about Scarlett?”
Grant: “What
about her?”
Wendell:
“She seems to be an ally.”
Grant: “Maybe…maybe
not. We’ll have to watch that. Too many moving parts. Too many things working
in weird directions. This is where we make mistakes. But we take what we get…”
Grant
smirks.
Grant: “And
next is Taking Hold of the Flame. And I think it’s time to really complicate
some plans. And we can see where Scarlett stands too…”
Grant
smiles as the scene cuts away.
COMMERCIALS
We
return to Breakdown to see Delatosso motioning to Amelia as Amelia walks off and
into a room. We then see Gavin Taylor walking over to Delatosso.
Taylor:
“Are you sure this is going to be ironclad?”
Delatosso:
“Just relax. We did what we need to. Polly got what she wanted. Lawler proved
himself. CHBK is out of the way for you…for Dawn…”
Taylor:
“What about the Glimmers…”
Delatosso:
“Not much I can do there. Trios Tournament contracts are ironclad. Board won’t
budge there.”
Delatosso
looks around.
Delatosso:
“We also don’t have to worry about a few other headaches.”
Taylor:
“Syren?”
Delatosso:
“One of her friends may not be around long. Worked out. Plus, we got an actual team
against the Glimmers. Striker and Colleen…Polly said they were a thing.”
Taylor:
“And that was their chemistry. Jenni and I could teach them a few things. But
wait…got a…”
Delatosso:
“The steal was stopped. Okay…just focus there. Don’t worry about anything else.”
Taylor suddenly
looks up and touches his nose as he walks off as we see La Pequena Luz walking
over to Delatosso.
Delatosso:
“Ms. Luz….”
Luz
looks at Gavin as he walks off.
Delatosso:
“I hope you’re focused too. Big night coming up soon.”
Luz: “Understood.
But that’s for Amelia…but this match….the stipulation…the lingerie…Amelia’s
first defense is-“
Delatosso:
“Trust me. I wish I could have the whole farce canned. But nothing I can do.
Although I wonder…you and I don’t seem to be too different-“
Luz: “We
have our differences. This is more about Amelia.”
Delatosso:
“Just focus on doing enough to make sure she’s still champion…and we get past
this and she gets Rise to Greatness. The spotlight….the spotlight she deserves.”
Delatosso
turns and walks over to the office as Luz just nods. She sighs as the scene
cuts away.
Ryan
LeCavalier vs. Brittany Williams
Hot and
dangerous
If you're one of us, then roll with us
'Cause we make the hipsters fall in love
When we've got our hot pants on and up
And yes, of course we does
We running this town just like a club
And no, you don't wanna mess with us
Got Jesus on my necklace-ace-ace
Got that glitter on my eyes
Stockings ripped all up the side
Looking sick and sexified
So let's go-o-o (Let's go)
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute
time limit. Introducing on her way to the ring, she is wrestling’s royalty, the
third generation superstar “Princess” Brittany Williams!!!”
We R Who We R by Ke$ha begins to blast across all the speakers. Princess
Brittany Williams emerges from behind the curtain wearing a Tiara on her head
and a scepter in her hand. She smiles as the crowd welcomes her with cheers.
Paparazzi snap photos of the little heiress as she walks to the ring doing a
royalty wave. Brittany slides into the ring as she slowly takes her Tiara off
and raises her scepter high into the air. She throws them to the side waiting
for her opponent to come out next.
Sharper:
“Brittany Williams about to be in action. This is the time of year you step up
and you can shock the world. Newcomer here to SCW.”
Knots:
“Can fast-track everything at Taking Hold of the Flame. That’s for sure.”
The
arena falls into a deep, anticipatory hush as the lights abruptly dim, plunging
the crowd into darkness. The air is thick with anticipation, and suddenly, the
ominous beats of "Praise" by Zhu, Banks, and Bludnymph pulse through
the speakers, filling the arena with an eerie energy. The voice of BANKS echoes
through the space, setting a haunting tone:
"I built me up high, a building so high, you know. Up where the birds fly,
it was a long time ago."
The tension is palpable as a single spotlight slices through the darkness,
casting an intense beam onto the entrance ramp. The crowd holds its breath as
the silhouette of her figure begins to emerge, shrouded in an aura of menace
and mystery. Dressed in a breathtaking ensemble of black and gold, her outfit shimmers
with an almost ethereal glow, reflecting her dominance and superiority.
As she steps into the light, the chorus surges, magnifying her grand entrance
and asserting her control:
"I got the view from the stars, baby, stars, baby. You look up at me like
a god, baby, god, baby."
With a deliberate, measured pace, Ryan LeCavalier strides down the ramp, each
step resounding with authority and command. Her hair cascades behind her,
catching the light and adding a dramatic flair to her entrance. Her gaze is
sharp and unyielding, scanning the crowd with a mix of disdain and amusement,
daring them to challenge her.
Suddenly, pyrotechnics explode around her, their bursts of light and smoke
accentuating her every movement. The strobe-like flashes create a stark
contrast between light and shadow, emphasizing her formidable presence. The
chorus of "Praise" swells dramatically, enveloping the arena in a
pulsating rhythm:
"This is how I got name, this is how I got my fame. You and me are not the
same, this is why you give me praise."
As she nears the ring, she pauses, her eyes locking onto the spectators at
ringside. She smirks, exuding an aura of disdain and arrogance, relishing in
their fear and respect. With a contemptuous glance, she continues her march
toward the ring, her every move a testament to her dominance and control.
Phillips:
“Her opponent, the Lost Monarch, Ryan LeCavalier!”
Ascending the ring steps with an almost ritualistic grace, she pauses at the
top, surveying the arena with a look of disdainful triumph. With a flourish,
she steps through the ropes, her entrance complete. Raising her arms in a
gesture of defiance and power, she locks eyes with her opponent, the tension
between them electric.
The music crescendos to a thunderous climax, and the crowd erupts into a
cacophony of boos and jeers, their voices a testament to her impact and infamy.
She stands ready in the center of the ring, her presence alone a declaration of
her readiness for the fight ahead.
As the final notes of "Praise" fade into the night, the echoes of the
chorus linger in the air, a haunting reminder of her dominance and control:
"Give me (Praise), Give me (Praise)."
And with that, the stage is set, the battle lines drawn, and the arena braces
itself for the match that's about to take place.
Knots:
“You wonder if Williams and LeCavalier are related?”
Sharper:
“Why’s that Jon?”
Knots:
“They’re both monarchs. Maybe she’s lost from Williams’s bloodline.”
Sharper:
“I doubt that Jon. I really do and-“
Before
the bell sounds, we then see Ryan LeCavalier running over to Brittany. Brittany
yells at her as Ryan pulls her by her hair and turns and throws her over the
top rope to the floor. Ryan LeCavalier walks around the ring, dusting her hands
off.”
Sharper:
“And LeCavalier just threw Williams to the floor!”
Knots:
“Not just to the floor. Over the top rope and to the floor!”
Sharper:
“And LeCavalier is in the Taking Hold of the Flame. So maybe sending a
message.”
LeCavalier
then turns and slides to the floor. She then heads over to Williams and grabs
her as she starts to get up. The official, Jennifer Cassidy, tries to get her
to stop. LeCavalier grabs Williams and Williams suddenly ducks a clothesline
and then spins around her, floating over and landing in front of LeCavalier.
She then kicks LeCavalier in the ribs and then nails her with a hard right and
then another before backing up and jumping to the apron and flipping forward,
taking LeCavalier down. The crowd roars.
Sharper:
“LeCavalier may have tossed her to the floor. Williams fighting back!”
Knots:
“The match hasn’t started yet!”
Sharper:
“And Williams is using that to her advantage right now.”
She
grabs LeCavalier and pulls her up. She clubs her in the back. She goes to whip
her into the steel steps, but LeCavalier spins through and sends Williams in.
Williams, however, hops over the steps and lands on them. She then smirks
before extending her arms. She turns around and LeCavalier runs over and
dropkicks the steps into the knees of Williams. Williams goes down as the crowd
ohs. LeCavalier then slowly gets up and walks over to Williams. Williams grabs
at the ring skirt and LeCavalier spins her around and then kicks her in the
ribs before holding her down and then lifting her foot up only to snap kick
Williams, while she’s bent over, in the back of the head.
Sharper:
“Oh! That wicked snap kick. And LeCavalier putting Williams back down.”
Knots:
“Just kicked out a generation from her pedigree!”
LeCavalier
then bends over and grabs Williams. She drags her up and then looks around
before running her across the ringside area and throwing her over the barricade
and into the crowd. LeCavalier then walks around the ringside area. She then
turns back and goes over to the announce table.
LeCavalier:
“Selena! I’ll get you where you need to be. I owe you. We owe each other.
People like her aren’t going to have a chance. Xander’s gone! And the people
who think they’re better won’t either this year with me.”
Sharper:
“Well we’ll see about that. Then again, we haven’t heard from Selena. May want
to focus on yourself and-“
Ryan
then turns as Williams springboards to the top of the barricade and dives
forward with a flying clothesline, taking Ryan LeCavalier down on the mats. The
crowd cheers. Cassidy again tries to get them back into the ring as LeCavalier
then rolls over as Williams stirs. She then gets up and moves over to
LeCavalier and grabs her and nails her with a hard right and then another and
another before Cassidy comes to the floor and tries to get Williams off of her.
Ryan LeCavalier then stirs as Williams rolls into the ring. She starts to play
to the crowd as the crowd roars. LeCavalier slowly gets up as Cassidy enters
the ring. LeCavalier then enters as Williams turns and goes for the Boom
Headshot, but LeCavalier ducks and then grabs Williams and runs her across the
ring and throws her again over the top rope. Williams gets her feet under her
and rolls through to the mats.
Sharper:
“And again over the top rope! And not even in the ring long enough to get the
match started!”
Knots:
“Williams went to take her out too and LeCavalier ducked at the last moment.”
Williams
rolls over and starts to get up. LeCavalier pushes past Cassidy and drops down
to the floor. She then grabs Williams and locks in the BODY/PRISON. The crowd
roars. Cassidy drops to the floor and tries to get the hold off. We now have
officials coming from the back to help get some order.
Sharper:
“Body//Prison locked in! And this is just LeCavalier now sending a message to
Williams!”
Knots:
“She made it sound like she wasn’t good enough. Well, Brittany Williams just
found out what LeCavalier thinks of her directly!”
Sharper:
“And this match has been thrown out. Clearly, we need to get order. We’re not
getting them in the ring. LeCavalier choosing to use Williams for a message.
Williams wanted nothing of it and these two went back and forth.”
Knots:
“Not anymore!”
Williams
struggles as LeCavalier keeps pulling back on her chin and on her arm as the
scene cuts away.
Backstage,
we see Syren standing with Jessica Winters in the backstage area.
Winters:
“Jessica Winters here and I’m with Syren and Syren…last week, we saw Delatosso
make his play. CHBK taken out. You tried to run out and help. Now you’re facing
Polly Playtime. And all of this while we’ve seen Gavin Taylor win the Title,
and then lose the title. Taking Hold of the Flame has plenty going on.”
Syren: “And
my mind is going in many different directions but all for the same goal. I have
a series of goals for 2026. Yes, one is to win the World Title again. But to
that end, I also plan to give Gavin Taylor a taste of his own medicine. I plan
to face Amelia Nevado one on one to truly see if she’s ready. And I will make
sure Polly Playtime doesn’t get much joy over what she did. For months I’ve had
people claim I’m getting special treatment. No…I earned my shot. I beat
Kimberly Williams. I fought to get there. I then had my rematch, but only because
we had to play games instead of just getting it outright. People can complain all
they want, but as Polly would learn if she reaches that upper echelon, it’s
easier to tear down than to actually fight through. Maybe why she’s struggled.”
Syren stops
for a moment.
Syren: “Blame
CHBK all you want. If that’s the case, well…I’m going to quickly beat that
assumption out of you. Just to give you a hint. You still have to get it done.
And days before Taking Hold of the Flame…I plan to take that smirk you had
earlier and slap off your face and show you that you have plenty more to go
before you’re where you want to be!”
The
crowd roars. Syren walks off.
Winters:
“Syren faces Polly Playtime later tonight, here on Breakdown!”
The
scene fades out.
COMMERCIALS
Backstage,
we see Dean Black with Lucas Knight, Hiro Tanaka and Dillusion.
Knight:
“You serious?”
Black: “Deadly.
CHBK is gone.”
Knight:
“Happy to be part of the hit.”
Black: “Just
the way it goes. He wasn’t my boss at the end of the day. And I need this job
unfortunately.”
Knight:
“Well…”
Tanaka:
“Lucas-“
Black: “No…he
should think. Does he? Mr. Moneybags. The fact is…Frank is running things. And
you can either get in line with his vision or you can take a kind severance, a
thank you…and that’s about it. But don’t expect invitations back. He’s looking
to make changes.”
Dillusion:
“And if we don’t agree…”
Black: “Then
you’ll be fired outright for insubordination. Don’t worry…you have tonight to figure
things out. The EFN…they’re taking your spot for the night. Taking Hold of the
Flame…we expect answers.”
Black
turns and heads off. Lucas Knight shakes his head. Dillusion turns to Tanaka
and Tanak looks down as the scene cuts away.
The
first chords of "Immortal" by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play over the
PA system. The crowd roars as we see Glory Braddock walk out from the back. She
looks around, extending her arm and playing to the crowd. She then starts to
make her way down to the ring.
Sharper:
“Glory Braddock on her way to the ring. Removed from defeating Kemal Yilmaz in
the Ultimate Submission match. And yet again, for the second year in a row,
she’s betting on herself.”
Knots:
“That’s all well and good, but there are a lot of people who want to be at the
top and Glory may need to work even harder than last year.”
I come alive at the second of midnight
So I can fly when the world is asleep
You scream and howl as I'm taking the first bite
Blood on my tongue tastes of eternity
People will come and go
Some stories never told
They bury me down below
But I'll never die
'Cause I'm immortal
Yes, immortal
The British Bombshell steps up the steel steps and then onto the ring apron.
She poses momentarily on the apron, allowing people to take snapshots before
stepping through the ropes and into the ring. Once in the ring Glory heads
to the center of the ring and poses once more. She then turns and goes to the
corner, where she’s handed a microphone. Braddock takes it and walks back to
the middle of the ring. She looks around and the music fades out.
Braddock:
“Well it’s that time of the year again…but before I get into it, allow me to
briefly reminisce on the past!”
Braddock
walks up to the ropes and to the camera.
Braddock:
“Kemal…you got your match. You got what you wanted. Thirty minutes with the
greatest technical wrestler in SCW today! Learn something?”
Braddock
looks at the camera as the crowd roars.
Braddock:
“I hope one of the things you’ve learned is you have a lot still to learn. I’ve
been in this sport for decades, Kemal. You can come in and claim to be this and
that, but until you earn it, you are just talk. And Kemal…you may take up that
mantle, but you can’t buy experience. And I hope Kemal you go back, keep
training….and years from me, we can try it again. But I have nothing left to
prove against you. Period!”
Braddock
walks around the ring.
Braddock:
“But as it is getting to be that time of year, Rise to Greatness on the horizon
and Taking Hold of the Flame just over a week away…I again am going to bet on
myself. I am not in the Taking Hold of Flame and I realize that may be
something that may no endear myself to some of the changes happening in the
governance of this promotion, but I never did things the easy way. And the fact
is that I am on another one of those runs.”
Braddock
walks around the ring.
Braddock:
“Because one on one, outside of Cid Turner, there aren’t too many people who
have been able to stop me. And Amelia, before you bring up Retribution, I’m not
making excuses. You won. But until you beat me one on one, there will always be
doubt. So Amelia…don’t screw up now. I know I’ll need to wait, but I suggest
that timer doesn’t need to be that long. Apocalypse looks damn good to me and
I’ll do what I need to do to prove I should be waiting for you then!”
Braddock
walks around the ring as the crowd roars.
Braddock:
“But that brings me to right now and Taking Hold of the Flame. See, for me to
get there, I need to put some more bodies behind me. And well, here we are.”
Braddock
turns to the stage.
Braddock:
“I know forty people are going to be marching down to the ring at Taking Hold
of the Flame. They’re going to hope to punch their ticket to Rise to Greatness.
Good on them. But me…I’m betting on myself. I’m willing to be a bit more
patience. And I am a former World Champion and a Supreme Champion and there are
a lot of people back there who would love to push me off the mountain. But
they’ve not been able to. Amelia Nevado…Xander Valentine…Kemal Yilmaz…and here
we are. So Taking Hold of the Flame…I’m showing up. Not to be in the battle
royal though. Oh no…”
Braddock
shakes her head.
Braddock:
“I’m going to be there and I’m going to have my gear. And it’s not because I’m
just being a good wrestler, always ready. It’s because I’m coming to compete.
And someone who wants to make their name. To become famous. I’ll be there…so if
anyone wants to try and take their shot…I’m easy to find!”
Braddock
backs up as her music plays throughout the arena.
Sharper:
“Braddock throwing down a challenge. Taking Hold of the Flame. Her dance is
free.”
Knots: “So
who is going to step up? The battle royal…”
Sharper:
“But beat Glory…and then go into the battle royal…you’ll get a lot of
attention. And the good kind. We’ll see…”
Braddock
puts the microphone down before then exiting to the floor. She starts to head
to the back.
Backstage,
we see Chris Dumont with Destiny Page. Aisling Reed is with him.
Page: “Welcome
backstage. I’m here with Chris Dumont-“
Dumont:
“With all due respect, Destiny…I don’t need a prompt. I just need a message to
be sent. First part is simple…Gavin…you lucky son of a bitch…one good shot…but
you think you stopped me. Oh no…we’re going to go to the next level and
Delatosso can’t stop that. He can try. He can throw people in front of me. I
don’t care…to prove it…I’m going to take out Oskar. And then at Taking Hold of
the Flame, I’m coming for you, Gavin!”
Dumont heads
off as the crowd roars.
Sharper:
“Dumont faces Oskar Theron, next, here on Breakdown!”
The
scene fades out.

Chris
Dumont vs. Oskar Theron
"Here
Comes Revenge" by Metallica hits the speakers as the crowd roars. After a
few moments, Chris Dumont storms out onto the stage, clearly not in a good mood
after last week. He looks out at the crowd for a moment before he begins
marching down to the ring, his anger barely restrained as he's visibly
trembling and ready to explode.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first,
from New Orleans, Louisiana, he is The Ronin... Chris Dumont!”
As Dumont reaches the ring, he hops up onto the apron and steps between the
ropes aggressively, pacing around the ring like a lion ready to pounce as the
fans continue to cheer for him. As he paces, he glances over at the announce
table and scowls at the sight of Devon Kayl missing from it while Jonathan
Knots sits smugly next to Adam Sharper.
Knots: “Yeah, keep looking buddy. The better commentator is still here, still
carrying Sharper and this broadcast!”
Sharper: “I don't know why you feel like tempting fate so badly Jon. You know
as well as I do that Dumont won't think twice about coming after you if you
keep antagonizing him.”
Knots: “And if he even tries, Delatosso will be introducing him and all his
buddies to the unemployment line in a heartbeat!”
Sharper: “Your bias against him aside, it's clear that Chris Dumont is far from
being in a good mood after last week, and it's hard to blame him. Gavin Taylor
managed to get one over on him again inside that steel cage thanks to a pair of
brass knuckles, and then what happened to CHBK afterwards...”
Knots: “Boohoo, it's all very sad Adam. People are just finding out the hard
way what happens when you try to interfere with the agenda of our CEO. He's got
a brilliant vision for a bright future for this company and people can either
accept that and let him give them chances CHBK never would, or they can take a
hike and slum it with some lesser promotion somewhere else!”
Ride The Lightning by Metallica plays over the sound system as Oskar walks
through the curtain, holding up his Norwegian flag, wearing Norway flame
lightning bolt flag trousers with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to
his trousers, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind
him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on
the ramp, using the lightning bolt signals.
Phillips: “His opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Ginny Raab, from
Oslo, Norway, he is... Oskar Theron!”
Sharper: “This match writing the latest chapter in the war between the European
Fiery Nation and the Phantom Troupe, all because the EFN, for whatever reason,
is insistent on supporting Gavin.”
Knots: “It's because they know that if SCW is Gavin again then they can finally
get the opportunities they've been working so hard to earn! I mean, how often
was Oskar demanding to just be given a match and CHBK refused to listen?”
As Sharper and Knots talk, Oskar walks down to the ring, staring a hole
straight through Dumont as he returns the favor. Oskar slides under the bottom
rope and goes to hold the ropes open for Ginny to enter, but Dumont refuses to
wait and charges in, blasting Oskar in the side of the head with a Code Zero!
The impact knocks Ginny off the apron and to the floor as Dumont pins Oskar
against the ropes, laying into him with a furious onslaught of right hands,
open-handed palm strikes and forearm strikes. Referee Steve Hollinsworth tries
to get Dumont to back off so he can officially start this match, but Dumont
refuses to listen as he irish whips Oskar into the ropes. He tries to take his
head off with a lariat, but Oskar manages to duck it before springboarding off
the opposite set of ropes and twisting into a european uppercut! Oskar gets a
side mount on Dumont and starts raining down punches as Hollinsworth gives up
on trying to restore order and signals for the bell to officially get this
match underway.
Sharper: “Dumont not waiting for the bell, and given the intense hatred between
both sides, Steve Hollinsworth is going to have his hands full trying to keep
any sort of order in this one!”
Knots: “How dare Dumont try to jump Oskar before the bell even rang! Where's
his sense of honor? Come on Oskar, beat it into him and make him understand
Delatosso's vision!”
Dumont manages to sit up a bit even as Oskar keeps raining down punches into
his temple, returning fire with some punches of his own to the ribs to try and
create some space. He manages to get Oskar to back off so he can get back to
his feet before he charges at Oskar for another Code Zero, but Oskar manages to
sidestep it. Dumont gets his footing and turns around just as Oskar catches him
with a backflip kick, sending Dumont to the mat and rolling out to the floor!
Dumont takes a moment to recover, looking even angrier now, but Oskar runs off
the ropes and gets a full head of steam before he soars through with a suicide
dive that drives Dumont into the barricade!
Sharper: “Oskar throwing caution to the wind and driving Dumont into the
barricade!”
Knots: “Finish what Gavin started last week Oskar! Put this clown out of commission
once and for all! SCW will be much better off for it!”
Oskar pulls himself to his feet as the fans boo, flipping off some in the front
row who try to get in his face to make sure he can hear their jeers loud and
clear as Hollinsworth counts both men out. (1) Oskar pulls Dumont to his feet,
spinning him around so he’s facing away from him. (2) Oskar grabs him in a rear
waistlock before he connects with a german suplex that throws the back of
Dumont’s head into the ring post! (3) Some fans in the front row let out an
audible groan as the boos only intensify while Oskar looks down at Dumont,
who’s clutching at the back of his head and neck now. (4) Oskar looks around
for a moment to get a sense of his surroundings, plotting his next move. (5)
Once he seems to make a decision, he grabs the edge of one of the padded mats
at ringside and starts ripping it up to expose the concrete underneath! (6)
Sharper: “Oskar doing some serious damage with that german suplex into the ring
post, but what the hell does he have in mind now?”
Knots: “Bad intentions for Dumont, and those are the best kind of intentions!”
Oskar tosses the ripped-up mats aside, but clearly the referee counting him and
Dumont out distracts him from whatever he’s trying to set up. (7) Oskar takes a
moment to stomp on Dumont to keep him down before he rolls back into the ring,
getting in the referee’s face about the countout as Hollinsworth argues he’s
just doing his job. Oskar scoffs before he rolls back out to the floor, forcing
Hollinsworth to restart the count as he gets in a few more stomps on Dumont for
good measure. (1) Oskar turns his attention back to the mats now as he rips up
more of them and throws them aside, making sure he’s got a good chunk of the
concrete floor exposed. (2) Oskar grabs Dumont and pulls him up to his feet,
making sure he’s both steady enough to stay upright and in position right in
front of the exposed concrete. (3) Once he’s got Dumont right where he wants
him, Oskar says something to him in Norwegian that clearly has some malicious
intent behind it before he runs towards the timekeeper’s area and springboards
off the barricade. (4) Oskar leaps back, looking for the Lightning Bolt Shocker
onto the concrete, but Dumont suddenly leaps up and cracks him in the back of
the head with the Tiger Knee! (5)
Sharper: “Oskar taking way too long with his plan to seriously hurt Dumont, and
he paid for it in a big way!”
Knots: “Dumont should be tasting concrete right now! I blame this referee for
distracting Oskar with that stupid count!”
Sharper: “You mean Hollinsworth doing his job?”
Dumont slowly pulls himself back to his feet with help from the apron, still
clutching at the back of his head. (6) He rolls back into the ring, but as he
looks out at Oskar still on the floor, he sees the exposed concrete and
realizes what he just avoided. This, however, only angers him further as he
rolls back out to the floor despite Hollinsworth begging him to stay in the
ring. Dumont grabs Oskar and hauls him back to his feet. (1) He lifts Oskar up
for a suplex, stalling for a moment to make sure he’s positioned just right,
before he spikes Oskar into the exposed concrete with a brainbuster! (2) Dumont
sits up, hissing a bit at his own back and shoulders impacting the concrete
before he pushes some of his hair out of his face. (3) He grabs Oskar and pulls
him up before throwing him back into the ring, sliding in after him and going
for a cover.
1!
2!
Oskar gets a shoulder up!
Sharper: “Brainbuster into the concrete! Oskar somehow managing to kick out
after Dumont turned his own plan against him!”
Knots: “Dumont should be disqualified for doing that!”
Sharper: “Oskar exposed the concrete in the first place, Jon!”
Dumont gets back up before pulling Oskar up as well, although he keeps him bent
over so he can start throwing Reaver Kicks into Oskar’s face! The final Reaver
Kick has some extra zest on it as Oskar is popped upright and staggers around
for a moment, which opens him up for a superkick that knocks him into the
ropes! Oskar rebounds off the ropes and Dumont boots him in the gut to double
him over again before he plants him with a gutwrench powerbomb! Dumont rolls
into another cover, hooking the leg this time.
1!
2!
Oskar kicks out! Dumont looks annoyed but gets back up and backs away,
measuring Oskar as he starts to rise. Ginny suddenly reaches into the ring and
grabs Dumont’s ankle! He jerks it away before turning and glaring down at her
as Hollinsworth moves over to the ropes to warn her about getting involved.
Dumont sees Oskar up to his knees and charges him for an Enzu-Code Zero, but
Oskar manages to duck his head to avoid it! Dumont stumbles before Oskar pops
back to his feet and grabs him from behind in a full nelson before lifting him
up and dropping him into a reverse STO! Oskar rolls Dumont over and hooks the
leg for a cover.
1!
2!
Dumont gets a shoulder up!
Sharper: “Oskar managing to dodge another Code Zero variation and reclaim
control thanks to some interference from Ginny.”
Knots: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Sharper. All I saw was this
idiot wasting time trying to threaten Ginny and paying the price for it!”
Oskar glares up at Hollinsworth, who reiterates his two count. He scoffs before
he lifts Dumont to his feet and cracks him with a european uppercut. Dumont
falls back against the ropes and rebounds into Oskar, who grabs him and takes
him over with a northern lights suplex! Oskar rolls through and proceeds to
deadlift Dumont off the mat into a vertical suplex! The fans boo as Dumont
rolls out to the floor, ending up rolling onto the exposed patch of concrete
from earlier. Oskar sees this and proceeds to climb to the top turnbuckle,
ignoring Hollinsworth’s demands for him to get down before he leaps and lands
on Dumont on the concrete with a swanton bomb!
Sharper: “Oskar taking flight and smashing Dumont into the concrete! Should
Oskar be disqualified for that, Jon?”
Knots: “Why should he? The concrete just so happened to be there underneath
Dumont’s spine!”
Oskar uses the barricade to pull himself to his feet as the fans continue to
boo him and Hollinsworth once again begins to count both men out. (1) Oskar
hops over the barricade, forcing fans to move out of the way as he measures
Dumont, who’s still laying on the exposed concrete. (2) Oskar springboards off
the barricade and connects with a double stomp into Dumont’s chest, driving his
spine into the concrete again! (3) Oskar repositions Dumont for a moment before
he starts trying to stomp his skull into the concrete repeatedly! This gets
Hollinsworth to actually stop his countout and lean through the ropes, finally
warning Oskar about his excessive use of the exposed floor and demanding he
bring the match back into the ring. Oskar huffs before he pulls Dumont to his
feet and goes to throw him back into the ring, but Dumont suddenly grabs his
head and drives him into the concrete with the Crown of Thorns!
Sharper: “Crown of Thorns into the concrete!”
Knots: “Right in front of the referee, too! Come on Hollinsworth, you’re a
better official than this! Disqualify this idiot!”
Dumont pulls himself back to his feet before he grabs Oskar and throws him back
into the ring. He slides in after him as a dazed Oskar slowly starts trying to
get to his feet, but he staggers for a moment. Hollinsworth goes to check on
him, but Dumont refuses to let him have a moment to breathe as he goes to run
off the adjacent ropes, perhaps looking for the F-Zero, but with Hollinsworth
focused on making sure Oskar didn’t get concussed out on the floor, he misses
as Ginny cracks Dumont across the back with the Norwegian flag! Dumont staggers
forward, and Oskar takes advantage by pushing past Hollinsworth before he
springboards off the second rope and catches Dumont with the Lightning Bolt
Shocker! He goes for the cover, hooking the leg.
1!
2!
Dumont gets a shoulder up! Oskar gets right back to his feet and gets in
Hollinsworth’s face about the count, demanding that it should’ve been two.
Sharper: “Ginny getting involved again and Dumont almost got robbed for the
second straight week in a row!”
Knots: “Robbed? That would’ve been justice for everything Dumont’s done!”
Ginny yells to get Oskar’s attention, diverting his anger at the referee to
Dumont, who’s slowly trying to pull himself back to his feet. Oskar motions to
Ginny before he moves to grab Dumont, hooking him for the Lightning Bolt Zap.
He stalls, and we see the reason why as Ginny suddenly slides a steel chair
into the ring that she pulled out from underneath! Oskar prepares to go for the
move before Hollinsworth has a chance to remove the chair, but Dumont starts
throwing back elbows into the side of Oskar’s head to free himself! Oskar
stumbles away as Hollinsworth grabs the chair and tosses it out of the ring
away from Ginny, and as Oskar turns, Dumont catches him with another Tiger Knee
to the face this time! Oskar drops to his knees, and Dumont grabs his wrists
before he proceeds to crack him in the face with the Code Zero-Championship
Edition! Oskar starts to fall, but Dumont pulls him back up and delivers a second
one! Oskar’s eyes roll back into his head, but Dumont yells out in fury before
he delivers a third Code Zero-Championship Edition! He finally lets Oskar fall
to the mat before he covers him, hooking the leg and glaring at Ginny as if
daring her to try and stop him.
1!
2!
3!
Hollinsworth calls for the bell as "Here Comes Revenge" by Metallica
hits the speakers again. Dumont gets up and grabs Oskar before throwing him
over the top rope and out to the floor, leaving him for Ginny to collect as
Hollinsworth raises his arm in victory.
Phillips: “Here is your winner… Chris Dumont!”
Sharper: “An absolute war here tonight between Chris Dumont and Oskar Theron,
but Dumont is the one who stands tall after three vicious knees to the face.”
Knots: “I think Delatosso needs to give Hollinsworth a performance review,
because he let Dumont get away with so much use of that exposed chunk of floor
out here at ringside!”
Sharper: “Again, Oskar’s the one who exposed it first, clearly looking to
injure Dumont-”
Knots: “Enough about this idiot! Can we cut to commercial or something so we
can move on from this travesty!?”
Dumont paces around the ring as the fans cheer for his victory. He glares up at
Ginny as she helps Oskar to the back, clearly feeling a little better about
this win and the damage he did to Oskar but not enough to make up for last
week. He takes a moment to look around, almost as if expecting the rest of the
EFN or perhaps Gavin and his group to try and jump him, but for the moment it
looks as though he’s got the ring to himself.

Breakdown
returns as we see Kimberly Williams standing with Jessica Winters outside of
her locker room.
Winters:
“Welcome back to Breakdown. Jessica Winters here with Kimberly Williams.
Already a noteworthy night and it looks like Frank Delatosso and this New Order
has put you right in the crosshairs.”
Williams:
“Woo-hoo! We’re going hunting. Good thing that I think I’m probably better at
it than they are. I’ve even used a crossbow before. Have you?”
Winters:
“Uh…no…”
Williams:
“Your loss. Plus, WASLEY…he knows how to prepare meat for cooking. Really good
with a knife. But if they want to come after me, I’m not hard to find. In fact,
I welcome it and-“
Just
then, we see Dawn Lohan run over and nail Kimberly Williams from behind. Kim
falls over, into Jessica Winters. She rolls over, partially dazed as we see
Dawn Lohan enter the locker room Kim uses. We hear some yelling before we see
Dawn Lohan running out with WASLEY. She slams the door shut. Kim then starts to
get up as Angelica then comes out from the locker room. Kim then runs after
Dawn. The crowd roars as Dawn turns the corner and Kim turns and then gets
knocked down by Chris Lawler who hits her with a clothesline. The crowd ohs as
Kim rolls over. We then see Lawler turn to Steve Hollinsworth who reluctantly
calls for the bell. The bell sounds.
Chris
Lawler vs. Kimberly Williams
Sharper:
“And Lawler jumping Williams. Lohan and Lawler working together.”
Knots:
“And WASLEY is gone. Dawn has him. He’s been penguin-napped!”
Sharper:
“And Underground rules, meaning falls count anywhere and Lawler nail on Kim!”
Lawler
drops down and hammers away on Kim as Kim rolls over. Lawler then grabs her by
the hair and starts to drag her along the road. Kim tries to get her feet under
her, but Lawler keeps dragging her before then pulling her up and running her
into a metal holder of piping, causing the piping to topple out and Kim to fall
to the ground. Lawler steps up and stomps her in the chest once and then again
and again. Kim rolls over as Lawler grabs one of the pieces of piping and
places it around the throat of Kim and pulls back. Kim struggles as Lawler
pulls back. He keeps trying to just choke her out with it, but Kim then hits a
mule kick. Lawler lets go and staggers over to the wall.
Sharper:
“And Kim fighting back-“
Knots:
“Cheap shot!”
Sharper:
“Yeah…after Lawler jumped her! After Dawn lured her in!”
Knots:
“Think WASLEY is turning into down for a nice coat yet?”
Lawler
steps up and Kim runs at him and nails him with a hard right and then another
before Lawler swings. Kim ducks and then drops down and hits a drop toe hold
into a storage crate. Lawler rolls over, holding his face. Kim then gets up and
grabs the crate and pushes it around. She turns and then rams the storage crate
into the face of Lawler. Lawler rolls over. He then starts to get up. Kim
follows up and clubs him in the back. Lawler staggers forward and Kim nails him
again. Lawler staggers forward and Kim then runs over and jumps onto the back
of Lawler. Lawler tries to grab her as Kim grabs at the throat, choking him.
Lawler struggles, spinning around with Kim on his back and then spins around
and then turns and backs up, ramming Kim into the wall. He staggers forward and
then falls back and drives Kim into the wall, this time, causing the drywall to
break and Kim to get put partially through the wall. The crowd ohs as Kim falls
to her knees. Lawler steps forward.
Sharper:
“And Kim just put through the wall!”
Knots:
“Take it out of her paycheque! I’d say winner’s purse, but Lawler is gonna
prevent that from being a concern!”
Kim
starts to get up and Lawler walks past the camera. Kim then looks up as Lawler
grabs a production light and turns and just drives the light into the face of
Kim. The crowd ohs as Kim falls to the ground. Lawler throws it down and goes
for the pin.

her up and then spins her around and throws her into the wall. Kim stumbles
back and staggers back to an intersection in the backstage area. Lawler then
runs at Kim and goes for a Blitz Kick. Kim moves out of the way. Kim then turns
and Lawler stops himself and Kim runs at him and spears him back into a table
where there’s a coffee carafe and cups. The carafe tips over, coffee spilling
all over the ground. Kim rolls away as Lawler does too. He winces, rubbing
coffee off his arm as steam comes up. Lawler then starts to get up and Kim hits
a superkick. Lawler falls back and down to the ground. Kim dives onto him for
the pin.

Sharper:
“And only two after Kim nails Lawler with that superkick.”
Knots:
“Lawler’s here to do a job. And he’s not going to go down easy!”
Kim
then gets up as Lawler rolls over. Kim nails him in the back with a clubbing
blow and then another before running him into some storage crates. Lawler
staggers off and Kim grabs a plastic trash can. She hoists it over her head and
throws it at the face of Lawler. Lawler drops to the ground again as the trash
can rolls around, trash coming out of it. Kim then runs over and mounts Lawler
and nails him with repeated right hands. Lawler rolls over as Kim then gets up.
She then grabs the trash can and lifts it up and goes to throw it down onto
Lawler, but Lawler moves out of the way. It bounces and Lawler gets up as Kim
runs at Lawler, but Lawler hoists her up and into a military press before
turning and hitting the Fury Suplex into another table that’s set up in the
area. The crowd ohs as Lawler falls back. Kim remains down in the table.
Knots:
“Yes! Yes! Through that table!”
Sharper:
“Destroying the backstage area! And Kim driven through that table.”
Lawler
looks at her and heads over and covers her.

stomps her in the face. Lawler then grabs Kim and drags her up by the hair. He
then starts o drag her through the backstage area. Kim tries again to get her
feet under her, but struggles as Lawler keeps dragging her through and then
runs her over into the edge of the tunnel leading to the crowd. Kim staggers
back and Lawler nails her with a left jab and then a hard right hook. Kim hits
the ground. Lawler grabs her and drags her up again and then drags her through
the tunnel. The camera follows as Lawler gets to the stairs and starts to pull
her up them. He knees her in the ribs as she starts to resist before dragging
her up the stairs. They get to the production area behind the curtain and Kim
grabs the table and Lawler tries to get her free, but Kim resists. He nails her
with a hard right and Kim goes over the table and down to the floor. Lawler
then reaches over and grabs her, but Kim takes the table and jabs it into the
ribs of Lawler. She then grabs a laptop, folds it up and then turns and nails
Lawler in the face with it. He falls over and rolls over.
Sharper:
“And a laptop! A laptop to the head!”
Knots:
“Hey! Those are top of the line. Take that out of her paycheque too!”
Lawler
gets up and Kim then steps up and just boots Lawler in the butt, causing him to
fall forward through the curtain and onto the stage. We cut to the arena as the
crowd roars. Lawler gets up and turns around. A few moments pass before we see
Kim with one of the tables from the production area, lifting it over her head
and running forward and then launching it forward. Lawler gets his hands up as
the table goes into his face. The crowd cheers as Lawler goes down. Kim then
walks around the stage area.
Sharper:
“Kim throwing one of the tables right at Lawler!”
Knots:
“The hell is wrong with her!”
Sharper:
“And this crowd on their feet for the Woman Scorned!”
Kim
then watches as Lawler starts to get up and Kim hits another Morrigan’s Wrath.
He falls to the stage. Kim goes for the pin.

and then another before backing up. She lunges, but Lawler lifts her up and
turns and throws her into the side of the entrance set. The crowd ohs as Kim
staggers forward. Lawler kicks her in the ribs, bends her over and hoists her
up and hits a powerbomb through the table. The crowd ohs.
Sharper:
“Lawler caught Kim. Kim through the table again!”
Knots:
“One more time! One more time! Just lift her up and put through the shrapnel!”
Lawler
goes for the pin.

Kim
just gets her shoulder up. Kim rolls over as Lawler looks down at her. He then
looks down and grabs her, pulling her up by the hair. Lawler drags her up and
looks around before then hoisting her up onto his shoulders. The crowd roars as
Lawler then tries to cradle the head of Kim, but Kim bites his ear. Lawler
yells out and Kim then slides down before then running forward and jumping up
onto the back of Lawler and rides him down through some tables next to the
stage. The crowd erupts.
Sharper:
“Off the stage! Kim rides Lawler down! Off the stage!”
Knots:
“No! He was going to finish her off!”
Hollinsworth
runs down the stairs along the side of the stage and runs over to the tables.
Kim turns and throws herself onto Lawler who ended up on his back.
1!
2!
3!
The
crowd roars as the bell sounds.
Phillips:
“Here is your winner, via pinfall, Kimberly Williams!”
Sharper:
“And Williams beats Lawler! Lawler tried to jump her. Tried to take her out,
but Kim at the end. Biting her ear-“
Knots:
“She bit her ear!”
Sharper:
“Welcome to the Underground. The true fight for survival and Kim still remains
on top there.”
Kim
gets up and staggers forward. She then smiles as she looks around before
turning to Chris and then back to the camera.
Kim:
“Gonna have to try harder Frankie!”
Kim
smirks as she looks around, her music playing. We then cut backstage.
Backstage,
we see Simon Lyman watching the footage on the monitor. He steps back as Asher
Hayes walks up to him. The crowd roars seeing the two.
Hayes:
“Still ready for Taking Hold of the Flame?”
Lyman:
“You’re not Kim.”
Hayes:
“Don’t need to be. Just like I wasn’t Striker. And you’re neither as well.”
Lyman:
“Yeah, but I’m far more desperate than you.”
Lyman
steps up to Hayes, getting into his face.
Lyman:
“You’ve still got time left on the clock. I don’t…”
Lyman
then looks at the cane next to him.
Lyman:
“Whether it’s the days I need the cane to get around…the shaky hands….”
Lyman
holds up his hand.
Lyman:
“Or that sometime, sometime sooner rather than later, I may not be all there.
Yeah, you’ve got a bad back. We’ve both had careers some of the new blood would
kill for. But we’re not happy with it and I’m not happy with it either.”
Hayes:
“You better be ready. Because I know you said you’d win the Taking Hold of the
Flame.”
Lyman:
“Yeah.”
Hayes:
“Well, the Underground Title doesn’t care about that. And I have my own plans
for that match. I don’t have Cid, Holly, Rachel….just me. I’ve already
challenged David Striker to find some respect. Given what I’ve heard from him,
he’s just another young asshole. Doesn’t actually respect a damn thing. I
however do respect you and what you’ve done. But don’t think that means I’m
going to take it easy. You may have fewer days left than me….but I’m one bad
fall, as we all are, from not having anymore days left.”
Lyman:
“So then…we’ll see who has the best day. But Asher…I’m coming to Taking Hold of
the Flame to do two things…take your title and win Taking Hold of the Flame.
Good luck.”
Lyman
pushes past Hayes as Hayes watches him.
Hayes:
“You’re the one who will need it…”
Hayes
walks off in the opposite direction.
We cut
to another part of the backstage area to see Dawn Lohan jogging down the
hallway, still holding WASLEY before then starting to head over to the office
of Frank Delatosso. She then stops and smirks before turning and shoving WASLEY
into a nearby trash can. The crowd boos loudly as Dawn Lohan just chuckles to
herself.
Dawn:
“Stupid penguin.”
Dawn
then turns and suddenly, we see Deanna Frost grabbing her from behind and
throwing her into the trash can. The crowd roars before Deanna spins her around
and throws her into the wall and then into the door of Frank Delatosso’s
office. Dawn staggers back and Deanna then turns and runs her over and throws
her into a storage crate, causing her to fall over it and roll over in pain.
The door then opens as we see Ludvig Eriksson.
Eriksson:
“Ey!”
Eriksson
steps out.
Deanna:
“Delatosso!”
Eriksson
grabs at Deanna, but Deanna grabs him and pushes him back. Delatosso steps out.
Delatosso:
“What is going on?!”
Eriksson:
“Someone’s looking for an ass-kicking-“
Deanna:
“We need to talk…it’s about Selena.”
Delatosso
holds his hand up.
Delatosso:
“Let her go. You can make sure she’s not going to let her…baser instincts do
anything. But you want to talk…”
Delatosso
motions inside his office. Eriksson lets go. Deanna then looks at him before
then stepping into the office. Delatosso steps in after as Eriksson goes over
to check on Dawn as she gets up. Dawn then staggers forward and enters into the
room too as the door slams shut.
COMMERCIALS
Hollywood
vs. The Light in the Darkness
All of
a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “In the
Name of Love” by Arion feat. Cyan Kicks begins to play, the LED screens
flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky
with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and
dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the
sky. One spotlight comes to life on the left side of the stage from the
camera’s perspective, revealing Amelia Nevado, holding the SCW World
Championship standing underneath it, eyes focused on the ring as her hands are
folded in front of her, giving her the look of a proper young lady. The fans
give a mixed reaction to the sight of her, leaning more towards boos. A second
spotlight comes to life on the right side of the stage, revealing La Pequeña
Luz standing underneath it with the kind of grin that could light up a room all
on its own as she motions with her hands for the fans to get pumped up, which
they immediately erupt into cheers at the sight of her. The two slowly turn
their attention to one another and begin closing the distance, their spotlights
following them as they stop within arm’s reach of one another. In an inverse to
how they normally do this, Luz is the one to extend her hand to Amelia, a
hopeful smile on her face as the fans buzz in anticipation. Amelia looks down
at Luz's offered hand, her look more uncertain than anything else, before she
manages to pull herself away and starts heading down the ramp.
Phillips:
“The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a fifteen minute time
limit. First, on their way to the ring, they are the team of La Pequena Luz and
the SCW World Champion, Amelia Nevado, they are the Light in the Darkness!”
This
draws a few boos and an upset look from Luz, but she quickly tries to shake it
off and catches up with Amelia as they walk down to the ring. As they make it
to the bottom of the ramp, Amelia turns to glance at Luz, almost surprised at
Luz respecting her wishes despite everything. Luz just nods to Amelia, once
again donning that hopeful, understanding smile, before she hops up onto the
apron and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the
ring, landing on her feet. She moves back, motioning to Amelia that the moment
is hers. Amelia, stunned and cautious, takes a moment before she seems to snap
out of it and pulls herself up onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping
through the ropes. Amelia gives a victorious fist pump, which earns a mixed
reaction that slowly starts leaning more towards cheers as Luz applauds her
wife. The arena lights slowly begin to come back on as both girls shed their
robes, though it's hard to miss the fact that Amelia is giving Luz a
contemplative look, perhaps trying to understand why Luz is still supporting
her even despite the path she's chosen.
Sharper:
“First time these two are teaming up since just before Retribution. And even
then, they looked a bit rusty, a bit of different pages. And tonight, you
wonder where their head is at.”
Knots:
“Where it needs to be. Failure isn’t an option, right Luz!”
A rush
of paparazzi rush down either side of the ramp as a red carpet is rolled out.
The sounds of Michael Jackson’s “Hollywood Tonight” begins to play as Chris and
Ryan Hollywood come out from the back, prompting a shamelessly stolen trope of
flashes from the cameras as they stand atop the ramp.
Phillips:
“Their opponents, from Hollywood, they are the team of Ryan and Chris, they are
Hollywood!”
They
respond to pose instructions from the photographers as they move towards the
ring. Once in the ring, they pose in the middle of the ring, back to back, as
their music fades.
Knots:
“This is going to be great. Prepare for facing the Glimmers by facing another
sibling tag team.”
Sharper:
“Uh…yeah.”
Knots:
“What?”
Sharper:
“Sure. But Hollywood has shown they can shock the world. They’ve done it
before.”
Amelia
starts in the ring as Luz looks at her and exits, but before Jennifer Cassidy,
the official, can call for the bell, all the lights in the arena suddenly cut
out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After a moment, blue
lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the entire place is
underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining down right
in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it as she's
flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed” for battle. “Tongue
Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we assume)
walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain,
sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full
well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides
almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping
in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one
of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we
see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and
lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. They join hands and
look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply
uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in
time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant
display of pinks and yellows. We then notice they are both wearing lingerie
that does little to hide their bodies, with only clever displays of lace
covering up personal areas that would lead to a rating change for the show.
Knots:
“Hey! They…oh…ah…”
Sharper:
“The Glimmer Sisters on their way out and a bit of a preview of Taking Hold of
the Flame!”
Knots:
“They shouldn’t be out here!”
Sharper:
“Well they are!”
At
this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror
of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience. Amelia watches
them as Luz tries to get Amelia to refocus. Once the Glimmers reach ringside
they dance their way over to the hard cam side of the ring and walk around the
ring. Amelia keeps watching them as they then head over to the announce
position. Gia, we think, introduces herself to Sharper. Gina, we think,
follows, before they both ignore Knots and then Gia hops onto the announce
table, sitting on it and then helps Gina pulls herself up and they sit right in
front of Sharper and Knots, watching the ring.
Knots:
“I can’t watch through this!”
Sharper:
“Well, we have a close-up look at what maybe the Glimmers could be offering at
Taking Hold of the Flame. They are in a Lingerie Showdown against the Light in
the Darkness.”
Knots:
“Amelia, just focus on Hollywood! Focus on them!”
The
bell sounds. Gia and Gina wave at Amelia as Luz tries to get Amelia to refocus,
but just then, Chris Hollywood jumps up and dropkicks Amelia in the back of the
head. She falls to the ropes and Chris rolls her up in a school boy.
1!

Amelia
kicks out. Chris gets up and runs over and tags in Ryan. Ryan enters as Amelia
runs at both and nails Chris with a European uppercut. Ryan grabs Amelia and
pushes her back and Amelia kicks him in the shin before spinning around him and
pulling him down with a school boy before moving to the leg. She goes for the
knee bar. Ryan frantically goes for the ropes and grabs them.

2!
3!
4!
Amelia
lets go and rolls back. Ryan slides back to the Hollywood corner. He reaches up
and tags Chris in. Amelia watches him.
Sharper:
“And Amelia quickly responding. Ryan finding out that Amelia Nevado isn’t
messing around.”
Knots:
“Ya think?! High stakes and everything at Taking Hold of the Flame.”
Gia and
Gina applaud mockingly as Luz glances at them. Chris enters and Amelia then
runs forward and grabs him. Chris yells and Amelia hits a hip throw. Chris
rolls over and starts to get up. Amelia grabs him and hits a European uppercut,
snapping him back against the ropes. She hits another European uppercut and
then another and another.
1!
2!
3!
4!
Amelia
lets go and Chris falls to the mat. Luz extends for the tag, but Amelia turns
and focuses on Chris. She then grabs him by the head and sets him up before
locking in a camel clutch. She starts to pull back as Chris yells out. Ryan
enters the ring and runs over and kicks Amelia in the head. Amelia goes down
and glances at Luz as Ryan is forced back by the official.
Sharper:
“And Amelia looking to make Hollywood tap out. Ryan quickly in.”
Knots:
“You see that look. Come on Luz. Get on board. You gotta do what you need to
win.”
Sharper:
“Luz and Amelia had always played by the rules. We’ve seen Amelia stretch that
and that’s something I’m sure the Glimmers are hoping for.”
Gina
(we think) turns back.
Gina:
“Damn right. Goody two-shoes!”
Amelia
turns and Chris starts to get up and Amelia turns and forearms him in the jaw.
Chris falls back into the corner. She nails him again and again before going to
whip him across the ring. Amelia runs after and Chris jumps up and floats over.
Amelia ducks under and stops herself. Chris, however, runs into the ropes,
bouncing off and hits a flying forearm smash to Amelia. Amelia rolls over and
starts to get up and Chris then grabs her and pulls her up and hits a back
suplex. He dives for the pin. Ryan enters and Amelia starts to get up and
Amelia turns into Ryan who hits a drop toe hold and Chris runs into the ropes,
bouncing off and hits a running dropkick to Amelia’s head.
Sharper:
“Double-team by Hollywood on the World Champion!”
Knots:
“This is going to be a scandal! Come on Amelia! Come on Luz! Do something!”
Luz
extends her arm as Amelia rolls over and Ryan goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Amelia
kicks out. Ryan rolls off. Amelia rolls over and Ryan stomps her in the back
and then again before pulling her up. He whips her into the ropes. Amelia
bounces off and Ryan launches her in the air with a flapjack. Amelia hits the
mat as Gia and Gina smirk and watch as Ryan plays to the crowd. Luz extends her
arm as Amelia rolls over and stirs. Ryan then turns and walks over to Amelia.
He grabs her and nails her with a forearm shiver and then another before
whipping her across the ring. Amelia hits the corner, stopping herself. Ryan
runs after, but Amelia pushes off and hits a European uppercut. Ryan staggers
and spins around. Amelia then grabs him and hits an arm-trap neckbreaker. She
goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Ryan
kicks out. Amelia rolls off and turns to the Glimmers before standing up.
Gia:
“Oh no…the glare.”
Gina:
“Like what you see!”
Luz
then tags herself in. Amelia turns to her. She almost glares at her, but Luz
then says something. This softens Amelia as Luz then moves along the apron and
springboards to the top rope and hits a diving leg lariat onto Ryan Hollywood!
Ryan gets back up and Luz runs into the ropes, bouncing off and hits a flying
headscissors. The crowd cheers as Ryan pops back up and Luz hits a dropkick. He
falls back and into the ropes and then drop down to the mat. Chris then enters
and runs over and nails Luz with a forearm and then another and another before
he runs into the ropes, bouncing off and Luz hits a dropkick. The crowd roars.
Chris pops back up and Luz turns and throws him out of the ring. Ryan then runs
over behind Luz and grabs her and spins her around. Ryan goes for a
clothesline, but Luz jumps up and spins through into the La Magica!
Sharper:
“La Magica!”
Knots: “Did
you see how quick?!”
Sharper:
“Yes I did and Luz making a statement of her own. She’s still as strong as
ever. Remember how good she was to start this year!”
Knots: “Yeah!
Take the spotlight from Amelia, why don’t you!”
Sharper:
“What?”
Luz
locks in the hold fully as Ryan starts to tap out. The bell sounds and the crowd
roars. Luz lets go, but just as she does, we see Amelia Nevado hop down and
walk over to Gia and Gina.
Gia: “Oh,
Amelia…looks like Luz is the one to-“
Amelia
immediately clocks Gia and knocks her back and down. Gina jumps down to check
on her. Amelia looks at Gia as Luz drops down to the floor and then holds
Amelia back. She looks a bit shocked too.
Sharper:
“Amelia just clocked Gia-“
Knots: “Good!”
Gia
looks up, rubbing her mouth.
Gia: “Better
get dolled up!”
Luz: “Amelia!”
Amelia
looks at them before turning to Luz.
Amelia:
“We cannot lose…you got it?!”
Luz
just nods as Amelia backs up and turns and storms off as Luz looks back at Gia
and Gina. Gina just smirks as Gia starts to get up. The crowd looks at the
Glimmers cheering as Amelia walks around the ring, grabbing her World Title as
she does, and heads off.
COMMERCIALS
Syren
vs. Polly Playtime
The
arena lights shut off completely. The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice
can be heard saying:
"You want me to cut the crap? My answer is that you need to cut
yours."
The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous
glowing angry green eyes make an appearance. Most of the screen stays
black, but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".
An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One. Game
Over."
A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to
play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage.
"Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to
sing the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of
the stage between the strobe lights. The overhead arena lights return and
we can see that the figure is dressed in a long black robe that covers all of
her, including her head. The hood drops back to reveal Polly not smiling
or showing any hint of caring what others think of her. She allows the
vocals to continue until Dove hits the chorus for a second time. The
light purple strobe rights turn to point directly to the ring as Polly lets go
of the robe that is cloaking her, revealing that she is wearing her black
knee-high skirt, but also a very small strapless light purple top that hugs her
mostly revealed upper body perfectly. She then picks up the item that she
had used to tie her black robe around her, that item being a small whip. Her
two guards walk out and stand behind her.
Wasting no more time, she walks with purpose down to the ring as her entrance
music continues. A lot of the crowd near ringside is gawking at her while
some are booing. Polly just ignores every single last one of them as once
at ringside, she feels the mat with both of her hands and rubs them a bit
before sneering and walking over to the nearest set of steel ring steps.
She walks up them and is very careful while she gets into the ring, as to
not give the SCW Universe a show that they do not deserve. The guards settle at
ringside and move to her corner.
Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV time
remaining. First, on her way to the ring, from Panguitch, Utah, she is Polly
Playtime!”
Once in the ring she runs the end of the whip around the canvas for a short bit
before she chooses a corner of the ring and leans up against the ropes.
As her music subsides, Polly can be heard saying "I'm too much for
you to handle. Too much for ALL of you! Always have been, always
will be. It's time you all see it."
The boos pick up. Polly is acting as if they don't exist as she has all
of the whip in her hands now once again. She stays in her corner and
waits for the bell to ring, fingering her whip, not even looking towards the
entrance way.
Sharper:
“Polly Playtime showed the hatred that’s been driving her. Taking out CHBK last
week. Syren stepping up here and you know the history there.”
Knots:
“And maybe Polly can make it two for two. And just in case someone wants to get
involved, Polly has her guards. She’s going to make sure that no one gets
involved. Not that masked idiot, whoever that is; not anyone else!”
The
lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat
plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer.
LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS
The heartbeat gets faster before “Groupie” by Cassie Steele hits the PA system.
After a few moments Syren comes through the curtain, accompanied by Lexy
Chapel. Syren pauses on the stage, looking out at the fans cheering.
Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY
Syren walks down the ramp. She jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles
on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera
gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans.
Phillips: “Her opponent, representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los
Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”
Syren leaps over the top rope and Polly runs at her. SCW referee Aaron Demitra
calls for the bell.
Sharper:
“And here we go! Polly Playtime engaging right on when Syren entered the ring.”
Knots:
“We’ll see that at Taking Hold of the Flame. No room to wait. You go and
eliminate! Polly wants to do that today!”
Polly
nails Syren with a hard right and then another and another. Syren ends up in
the corner and Polly leans, hammering away on the SCW Hall of Famer. Syren
covers up as Polly keeps hammering on her and then grabs her and pulls her out
and then goes to whip her across the ring. Syren spins through and sends Polly
in. Polly bounces off and Syren hits a double-leg takedown. She then nails
Polly with a couple of hard shots as Polly then scrambles out of it and over to
the corner. Syren gets up and follows and nails her with a hard right and then
another. She whips Polly across the ring. Syren runs after and Polly jumps up
and floats over. She backs up as Syren stops herself at the corner. She then
runs out and Polly goes for a hard right, but Syren blocks it and nails her
with one, knocking her down.
Sharper:
“Hard right hand. Playtime down!”
Knots:
“Closed fist! Closed fist!”
Polly
scrambles back up and over to the ropes and Syren runs at her and hits a
clothesline, knocking her up and over the top rope to the floor. (1) Polly
rolls over. She then starts to get up as Syren then walks around the ring. (2)
She then turns and goes to dive through the ropes, but Polly’s guards step in
the way, obstructing. Syren stops and looks at them as the crowd boos. They
just calmly stand in front of Polly, arms folded in front of their chest. Just
then, Polly runs forward and grabs Syren by the legs and pulls her to the
floor. (1) She then runs Syren into the barricade. The guards back off as Syren
staggers off. Polly follows and nails Syren with a hard right. (2) Syren falls
to the barricade. Polly follows up and kicks her in the ribs. She then kicks
her over and over again. (3)
Sharper:
“And Playtime all over Syren. Stomping her against the barricade.”
Knots:
“Why not? Everyone has dreamed of this and Polly’s confidence rebuilt. She
knows she’ll start to get her fair shake!”
Syren
slides down to the floor and Polly starts to choke her with her boot. This gets
Demitra out of the ring and over to Polly and Syren demanding the break. Polly
steps off and walks around the ringside area. Demitra reprimands her, but she
ignores him before Polly runs at Syren and hits a running high knee. Syren’s
head snaps back and she stumbles forward. Polly grabs her and rolls her into
the ring. Syren rolls over and Polly slides in. Demitra follows as Polly goes
for the pin.

turnbuckle and dives back with a slingshot splash. She hooks the leg.

Syren
kicks out again. She rolls over and starts to get up and Polly grabs her and
pulls her up before going for a vertical suplex. Syren blocks it. She then
tries again. Syren blocks it again. Polly nails her in the ribs and runs into
the ropes. She bounces off and Syren hits a clothesline. Polly hits the mat.
She pops back up and Syren then hits an enziguri kick and Polly flips to her
back from the impact.
Sharper:
“And Syren with a clothesline. Then the enziguri. And Syren with the opening to
get back into this to stop Polly’s momentum.”
Knots:
“Polly’s going to keep fighting. She’s got plenty to drive here. Huge
opportunity here. Syren’s the one who’s actually in trouble.”
Polly
rolls over and winces as Syren pulls herself up. Polly gets up and Syren then
jumps up and hits the Syren’s Call. The crowd ohs. Syren turns and hooks the
leg.
1!
2!
Playtime
kicks out. Syren gets up as Polly rolls over and moves to the ropes. She then
runs at Syren and Syren hits a dropkick. Polly hits the mat. Both get up and
Syren scoops her up and slams her down. She then hits the Blonde Satisfaction
and goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Polly
kicks out again. Both women get up and Syren forearms Polly in the jaw before
whipping her into the corner. Syren runs after and Polly gets an elbow up.
Syren staggers back and Polly then runs out and hits a spinning heel kick. She
goes for the pin.
1!
2!
Syren
gets her shoulder up. Polly rolls off. Syren starts to get up and Polly elbows
her in the back of the head and then again. She then wrenches Syren’s arm and
goes for a back kick to the jaw, but Syren ducks and spins around Polly. She
then hits a back suplex. Polly rolls over and gets back up and turns as Syren
hits the ropes and hits the Face Lift. Polly hits the mat. Syren then looks at
her and runs to the ropes and jumps to the middle rope and dives back with a
moonsault. She hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Playtime
gets her shoulder up. Syren then nails her with shot after shot after shot to
the jaw. She gets up and exits to the apron. She climbs up to the top rope and
Polly manages to get up and falls into the ropes. Syren lands hard on the top
turnbuckle.
Sharper:
“Hard landing for Syren. Right onto the top turnbuckle.”
Knots:
“See this heart. We talk about Syren and heart. What about Polly?!”
Sharper:
“Right now, she’s got a hell an opportunity against Syren.”
Polly
nails Syren with a hard right and then another before climbing up to the middle
turnbuckle. She then grabs Syren and punches her again. She sets up for a
superplex. The crowd roars as she tries to hoist her up, but Syren blocks it.
She then hoists Polly up and throws her down face first into the mat. Polly
pops up, holding her face. She then starts to get up and Syren stands up on the
top rope and dives off with a missile dropkick! Syren crawls over to Polly and
hooks the leg.
1!
2!
Polly
gets her shoulder up. Syren rolls off and looks around. She then starts to get
up and drags Polly up. She then kicks her in the ribs before going for the
Total Makeover, but Polly shoves her off. Syren hits the ropes and Polly hits a
chick kick to the side of the head. Syren falls to the ropes, bouncing off the
middle rope and then suddenly hitting a superkick on Polly. Both collapse to
the mat.
Sharper:
“Polly with the head kick and Syren responds with a superkick! Both women
down!”
Knots:
“Damn it! Syren had one more shot in her!”
1!
2!
3!
4!
Syren
crawls over to the ropes as Polly does the same. (5) They both start to use the
ropes to pull each up. (6) Syren gets up first and turns and moves to Polly.
Polly turns and Syren blasts her with a hard right. Polly fires back with one
of her own. They trade blows, going back and forth in the middle of the ring
before Syren kicks Polly in the ribs. She runs into the ropes, bouncing off and
jumping up, but Polly reaches up and thumbs Syren’s eye. Syren falls over and
Polly then runs over and clotheslines Syren over the top rope to the floor. Syren
rolls over. (1) She stirs as Polly then steps through the ropes and down to the
floor. She heads over to Syren and starts to choke her against the barricade. Demitra
drops down and calls for the break.
Sharper:
“Playtime all over Syren here. Shwoing a degree of aggressiveness we’ve not
seen from her!”
Knots: “Choke
her! Choke her some more!”
Polly
looks down at Syren and stomps her in the chest once and then again before
going a third time. Syren then catches her foot and shoves her back. We then
hear a roar as we see the familiar masked individual hop the barricade.
Immediately, Polly’s bodyguards move into action and quickly run over and stop
her from getting to Polly. Polly looks up and smirks before going over to
Syren. Syren nails her with a hard right, Polly nails her again. Polly then
grabs Syren and rolls her into the ring. Syren rolls over, stirring as the
masked person is pushed back to the barricade where we see Frederico Gasperoni
and Dakon Theron walking over with security. But as this happens, we see
Kimberly Williams bolt out from the back.
Sharper:
“And Polly’s guards doing their job. And there’s the EFN. We wondered if they
may be used as security later. Clearly yes!”
Knots: “Take
that masked whatever the hell-“
Sharper:
“Wait! Wait! Kim! Kimberly Williams! They went after her earlier!”
Polly
climbs onto the apron, but Kim jumps up and pulls her down. The crowd erupts.
The bell sounds as Demitra calls for the bell. Polly falls over as Kim dives
onto her and nails her with shot after shot. She then gets up and rolls into
the ring as we see Dakon Theron running around. We then see Oskar Theron, Kemal
Yilmaz, and Ludvig Eriksson running out from the crowd. They all hop the
barricade and they enter the ring. Syren gets up and nails Yilmaz with a shot
as Kim nails Oskar. Eriksson gets in the ring and goes after Syren. We then see
Dakon enter the ring. The crowd boos as Polly looks up and starts to get up.
The EFN attack both Kim and Syren before we see Shaun Cruze running out from
the back. The crowd roars. Cruze runs down from the back and slides into the
ring. He then clotheslines Dakon down before nailing Eriksson with a shot. We
see Gavin Taylor look on from the stage as the A.S.S.S. stand around him. We
then see Syren, Kim and Cruze try to fight off the EFN. Gavin then motions to Jack
and Karl to join them. They run down to the ring.
Sharper:
“And this may have been a trap too!”
Knots: “IF
it was or wasn’t, well, time to fight for your life. Throw them over the top
too! Send them a message!”
Polly
watches from the floor, her guards joining her. She just stands, hands on her
hips, smirking, as Syren, Cruze and Kim struggle against the EFN and now Jack
and Karl Barker. We then see Chris Dumont and the Troupe come out from the
back. Gavin starts to back up as Religious Wright and Mr. Black are taken down.
Gavin then turns and runs down to the ring and slides in. The Troupe follows en
masse before we see Chris Lawler running down, showcasing a noticeable limp. He
enters as the crowd cheers.
Sharper:
“It’s pandemonium here in Washington! What will happen at Taking Hold of the
Flame?!”
Polly
looks on as Syren, Cruze, Williams, Dumont, Striker, Marik, and Slayton fight
the Therons, Eriksson, Taylor, Gasperoni, Yilmaz, Lawler, and the Barkers. The crowd
continues to cheer as the scene fades out…
