“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

“The leading force in sports and entertainment today....”

DARK MATCH:

Chase Upshaw defeats Vespertine via pinfall

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid

Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie

Can't stop this screamin' voice

Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Asher Hayes hitting Dust to Dust on an opponent, before showing the Glimmer Sisters posing in the ring. Glory Braddock is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chris Dumont, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

This is the face

I hate the other side of me

Out of this cage

He breaks to take the life from me

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Phantom Troupe standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

I'm closer to the edge

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery

Insane

These voices in my brain

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see the Glimmer Sisters making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Polly Playtime posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Colleen MacDonald, Xander Valentine, and Amelia Nevado are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the Target Center in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “Welcome to Minnesota as Breakdown returns and we return from our summer hiatus! Rise to Greatness was a night to remember. But what about tonight?”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and folks, there’s a lot of electricity in the air.”

Knots: “That there is and there’s going to be some reckoning tonight. We might have a new World Champion, but we also know who is waiting. It’s time to make SCW Gavin Again and the campaign starts with him finishing what Alistaire Allocco couldn’t, taking out Shaun Cruze!”

Sharper: “Along with that, we know the Glimmer Sisters are in action. We expect to also hear from Syren and so many more. But I think you know where we’re going to begin.”

The chords of “People Like Us” by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. From the back curtain, out runs Deanna Frost, wearing the SCW World Championship around her waist, and holding the SCW Adrenaline and World Tag Team Championship belts over her shoulders, taking in the audience before running to the right side, then the left side, shouting to them in excitement. The 'leaves' follow her as she does. Returning to the middle, Deanna gives a spin on one foot, her arms outstretched, the 'leaves' circling her below her feet.

Sharper: “Your eyes are not deceiving you. Deanna Frost, the new World Champion, and a triple champion in SCW. Also the World Tag Team Champion. Also the Adrenaline Champion.”

Knots: “Someone’s going to have a busy schedule.”

Sharper: “You’ve already mentioned Gavin Taylor. Amelia Nevado will be waiting. We know others have staked their claims on the World Title. And we know with the Adrenaline Championship, Kirsten Scott-“

Knots: “Don’t start there! It should be Polly Playtime!”

Sharper: “And let’s not forget, Selena Frost has a shot waiting. And then we have the rematches for the World Tag Team Championship. CHBK will have to do some serious thinking.”

Making her way down to the ring, Deanna high-fives fans along the way until she reaches the ring. Sliding under the ring, the redhead jumps to her feet, making her way to the middle ropes and leaning over them, one arm raised to the crowd. She drops down and stops, looking at the titles she’s holding, trying to rebalance them as they move around. She then turns and walks over to the corner. She grabs a microphone waiting for her. The crowd roars as her music fades out. A “Deanna” chant starts to break out and Deanna looks around, a smile coming on her face, as she takes this in. Deanna settles in the middle of the ring, bringing the microphone to her mouth.

Deanna: “I still can’t believe this…”

Deanna looks around.

Deanna: “I am the SCW World Champion…”

Deanna almost chuckles.

Deanna: “I’ve held this championship now for a month, thanks to the break we take after Rise to Greatness. And I still can’t believe it. And on top of that, I can’t believe I’m standing here as a triple champion.”

Knots: “Something not even Selena did. Yeah, take that Selena!”

Sharper: “You are right there.”

Deanna: “I’m sorry if this is too cutesy, or you’re going, Deanna…what the hell. You won Taking Hold of the Flame. You beat Amelia Nevado at Rise to Greatness. Just…I always just figured I’d stay in a lane. To stand here, having done something people dream of, something one of the most important influences on my life and career hasn’t been able to do in years…I….and against one of the greatest wrestlers in professional wrestling in Amelia Nevado….I realize some are going to say be a champion, but….I know I wasn’t supposed to be here. I…”

Daenna pauses as the crowd starts to drown her out, another “Deanna” chant beginning. Deanna looks around as she smiles.

Sharper: “The fans appreciating her effort. Her continued drive.”

Knots: “She better find her confidence. Then again, it’s fine. Gavin Taylor will take care of this and you can go back to second-guessing yourself!”

Deanna: “But I am here. And I’m your World Champion…and I’m still one half of the SCW World Tag Team Champions…and the SCW Adrenaline Champion. And I take all three roles incredibly seriously. I’ve already shown it with the Adrenaline Championship through the Shot of Adrenaline. To stand here, the House of Frost back as Tag Team Champions….I take that incredibly seriously. And I don’t have to say anything about the World Title outside of that I know as much as anyone else how important it is to be a strong champion, and to more importantly, stand on one’s own values.”

Deanna pauses and looks to the stage.

Deanna: “Far too well. And I know people are going to be gunning for me. I know Gavin Taylor tried to get involve at Rise to Greatness. I know Amelia has her World Championship rematch. The Glimmers, Light in the Darkness, the tag title rematches. Add Kirsten Scott for the Adrenaline Championship….and I will be ready. I have to be ready as that is what these titles demand. That is what I will take on as my next challenge. That is what I will try to do. For all of you…and for what these titles have represented for over twenty-three years!”

Deanna looks out at the crowd as they cheer for a moment, but boos then start to come from the crowd. Deanna turns as we see Frank Delatosso walking down from the back, Dean Black at his side. Delatosso holds a folded up piece of paper in his hand. Deanna watches him as the boos only grow.

Knots: “Minneapolis, show some respect. This is the SCW CEO!”

Sharper: “Frank Delatosso coming to the ring with Dean Black-“

Knots: “Here to greet his new champion. She says she has values. Maybe better than Amelia Nevado who unnecessarily attacked Gavin Taylor at Rise to Greatness!”

Deanna Frost waits as Delatosso walks up the steel steps and into the ring. Dean Black follows him and steps in after and then folds his arms, standing in the corner. Delatosso walks over to Deanna and shakes her hand. Deanna reluctantly does so and Delatosso then walks past and goes over to the corner and demands a microphone. Jason Phillips, the ring announcer, hands him a microphone. Delatosso turns back to Deanna.

Delatosso: “Deanna…firstly, congratulations.”

Deanna: “Thank you…why do I feel that it’s going to come with conditions.”

Delatosso: “There are no conditions. You’re the World Champion. You outcompeted Amelia Nevado. Nevado will have to live with that and hopefully, she doesn’t get caught up overanalyzing things perhaps as your ex-wife started to do. Nonetheless, I’m out here for a different reason.”

Deanna: “And what’s that? Going to undermine my latest accomplishment?”

Delatosso smiles.

Delatosso: “You still accomplished Shot of Adrenaline even if I feel that CHBK allowed that tournament to drag. Fans want experiences. But they want things to keep moving! But there are places where tradition matters. For example…”

Delatosso then holds up the paper in his hand and extends it to Deanna. Deanna looks confused.

Deanna: “What’s this?”

She takes it and starts to look at it.

Delatosso: “That’s your itinerary for October.”

Sharper: “Itinerary?”

Delatosso: “See, I think SCW represents the greatest wrestling on the planet. And in the past, that greatness was represented by a champion who would take on all comers. And you practically just said that and I’m thrilled to hear that. And over the last month, working with our schedulers, it’s about time that professional wrestling had a travelling World Champion that showed the world their greatness. I had figured it would be Amelia, but you won and now that means you’ll fulfill that role. CHBK will probably remember the days of the old wrestling alliances, the World Champion would go from promotion to promotion and take on their challengers. In 2026, at a time where fans want more wrestling, and live through social media, there’s the opportunity for something special and you, Deanna, get to be at the heart of it.”

Deanna is scanning the sheet.

Delatosso: “Of course, when we put out feelers, many promotions wanted the SCW World Champion present, so it’s a bit of a busy schedule, but don’t worry. We’ve ensured you can be here every Breakdown and every SCW show so you can continue with your championship commitments here.”

Deanna: “There’s some weeks where I’m on the road for five…six days at a time. And what’s this? Club GA-Blam…you’re having me do an appearance at Gavin’s club?”

Delatosso: “He’s hosting an event and again, Amelia and him…it’ll be fine. He’s assured me that the security will be top notch.”

Delatosso looks at Deanna and smiles as Deanna continues to scan the sheet.

Delatosso: “Again, congratulations Deanna. You’re a triple champion. You’ve done something Selena hadn’t done in years. And you’re going to set the new standard for greatness in professional wrestling!”

Delatosso turns and motions to Dean Black. He steps through the ropes and then walks down the steel steps. Black follows him and drops down to the floor. Delatosso and Black head to the back as Deanna Frost continues to look at the list before looking up at Delatosso with a degree of annoyance as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see Deanna Frost sitting now in her locker room, looking over the paper Delatosso gave her. The camera pans out to show Amelia Nevado and La Pequena Luz standing with her. The crowd cheers some more.

Deanna: “Montreal next week…Mexico City…I think…yeah, Mumbai….He had this for you, Amelia?”

Nevado: “This is the first I’m hearing of it. I mean he’s had a month to stew. I’ll be curious if he’ll be putting Gavin before me now too.”

Deanna: “You know you don’t need to ask about a rematch. I also know full well next time you may get me….”

Nevado: “We worry about that then. You’re going to have a busy month regardless. Let’s hope CHBK at least is reasonable…”

Luz: “So hard to figure out where everyone sits now and…”

The door opens as we then see Selena Frost walking into the locker room. The crowd gives a very mixed reaction. Deanna, Luz, and Amelia all look at Selena. Selena slows down as she reaches the trio.

Selena: “I know…this…feels odd….and….”

Deanna: “It doesn’t. It feel right. The four of us…together…”

Nevado turns to Selena.

Nevado: “But it’s going to take time…”

Selena: “I know…”

Selena turns to Deanna.

Selena: “Can I see that?”

Deanna hands her the list. Selena looks at it.

Selena: “Until we get clarity, let’s figure it out together.”

Selena just calmly sits down next to Deanna as the scene cuts away.

Marquis Dawson vs. Chris Lawler

Shiesty Enterprises Presents…

That Mr. Hot Sauce Dappin’, Back Hand Slapping ’, Swagged Out Happening ’, Much Needed Seasoning,

Marquis Dawson

“DNA” by Kendrick Lamar begins to play as Pookie Williams steps out on the stage in his black Adidas track suit as he hypes up Marquis Dawson by yelling idle warnings at everyone. Marquis Dawson finally strolls out in a black Mink fur Vest and black leather pants and some old school Jordans. He stops and slowly pans around the crowd before flashing his bright white veneers. He nods his head feeling himself in the moment. He then begins to strut toward the ring.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Pookie Williams, from Chicago, Illinois... Marquis Dawson!”

He looks around to the crowd mouthing it is bout time to stack dem bands before jumping up on the apron, dusting off his Jordans and flipping over the top rope. He poses for a moment with his arms thrown outward before shimmying the mink fur vest off and handing it to Pookie Williams as he heads over to the corner.

Sharper: “Marquis Dawson had a hell of a performance at Rise To Greatness and really showed what he could do on SCW's biggest stage. Unfortunately, he wasn't able to stop David Belmont from scoring the pin on Xavier Holloway in their four way.”

Knots: “That's the unfortunate danger of those four way dances. You take your eyes off of somebody for too long or get caught out of position, and you find yourself watching the match slip through your fingers.”

Sharper: “He's got a big chance to rebound tonight, however, and a win over a longtime veteran would definitely go a long way.”

Knots: “I don't know, Adam... I like the kid, but he might be about to walk into a fight he shouldn't win if he's smart.”

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

Phillips: “His opponent, currently residing in Nashville, Tennessee... Chris Lawler!”

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens, a silent vow etched upon his features. Tonight, he will leave everything in the ring, his spirit unbroken, his resolve unyielding, as he prepares to face whatever challenges come his way.

Sharper: “Speaking of falling short in multi-person matches, Chris Lawler was unsuccessful in becoming United States Champion in that chaotic Ladder Match that kicked off a Rise To Greatness that proved to not be a very good night for the New Order as a whole.”

Knots: “Don't go blaming Lawler for that! Dexter Grant cheated somehow! He... he had one of his new little henchmen hijack the controls and lower the belt down for him!”

Sharper: “That's not the case and you know it Jon, like it or not. Still, Lawler with a chance to bounce back tonight and a shift in momentum could absolutely benefit both him and the New Order.”

Knots: “A new season for SCW and you need to start it off on the right foot. You've got this Lawler! Show this newbie his place in the pecking order!”

Referee Steve Hollinsworth signals for the bell as Lawler and Marquis slowly approach one another and meet in the center of the ring. Marquis wastes no time in talking some trash right to Lawler’s face before he shoves him, causing Lawler to take a few steps back. Pookie applauds out on the floor as Marquis dusts off his hands and acts like shoving Lawler was easy, but his confidence immediately hits a brick wall as Lawler lunges and clotheslines him down! Marquis scrambles to his feet but gets a second clothesline to send him back to the mat! Marquis gets back up and this time Lawler backs him into the ropes before irish whipping him, but as soon as Marquis hits the opposite set of ropes he stops himself and then slips out to the floor, the fans booing as Pookie quickly approaches him to reassure him what just happened was a fluke.

Sharper: “Lawler not appreciating the confidence of Marquis Dawson and trying to make him pay for it out of the gate.”

Knots: “There’s no denying that Marquis has been impressive, but he’s in there with a longtime veteran who honestly deserves more respect than he’s being shown!”

Lawler approaches the ropes to perhaps pursue Marquis, but Pookie yells at the referee and Hollinsworth forces Lawler to back away from the ropes. Marquis takes his time in climbing back onto the apron and stepping through the ropes, but as soon as Lawler shoves his way past Hollinsworth, Marquis suddenly lunges and slaps him hard across the face! The fans “OOOHHH!” as Lawler just glares at Marquis in disbelief, but this is followed by a stiff chop across the chest that echoes throughout the Target Center! Lawler takes a few steps back as that one seemed to get him, and Marquis moves in, alternating between stiff slaps across the face and chops across the chest. Lawler finally tries to swing with another clothesline to stop the onslaught, but Marquis ducks underneath it and as soon as Lawler turns, Marquis leaps up and plants him with a jumping DDT! He goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Lawler gets his shoulder up maybe a split second after the two is counted!

Sharper: “Marquis taking advantage of the referee trying to maintain order and he’s got Lawler in a bad way right now.”

Knots: “This is exactly why Mr. Delatosso brought the New Order together! Nonsense like this can’t be allowed to keep flying! Maybe our CEO should look into an overhaul of our officiating staff.

Marquis shoots an annoyed look at Hollinsworth before he grabs Lawler by the head and hauls him back to his feet. He hooks Lawler before throwing him with an exploder suplex! The fans give a bit of a mixed reaction as Marquis rises back to his feet and dusts himself off before smacking his elbow. Lawler uses the ropes to pull himself back to his feet and turns as Marquis spins into a roaring elbow, but Lawler ducks in and lifts Marquis off the mat to plant him with a spinebuster! Pookie looks stunned out on the floor as the fans boo.

Sharper: “Marquis might’ve started getting a little too confident and walked right into that spinebuster!”

Knots: “Like I said, Lawler’s a longtime veteran, a man who deserves more respect than he’s been given! Underestimate him and the New Order at your own peril!”

Lawler gets back to his feet, but Marquis isn’t too far behind him. Marquis tries to swing with a clothesline, but Lawler ducks it and grabs a rear waistlock as he spins around before taking Marquis over with a german suplex! Marquis rolls through, however, seemingly absorbing the suplex before he gives Lawler an immediate receipt with a german suplex of his own! Lawler, however, rolls through and seemingly absorbs it himself as the fans begin cheering for the intense exchange. Marquis turns and Lawler grabs him for a belly-to-belly, but Marquis connects with an elbow smash to the side of the head to get out of it! He follows up with a second elbow smash to the other side of the head before spinning into a back hand to try and complete The Seasoning, but Lawler ducks it before lifting Marquis above his head in a military press and dropping him with the Fury Suplex! Lawler goes for the cover, hooking the leg.

1!

2!

Marquis kicks out!

Sharper: “Lawler ducks The Seasoning and connects with a huge Fury Suplex, but it’s not enough!”

Knots: “Both of these men are big, strong, and hit like trucks. Something’s got to give!”

Lawler glances up at Hollinsworth, who reaffirms his two count, before he grabs Marquis’s ankle and applies the Lockdown Hold! Marquis yells out in pain and tries to scramble to the ropes, but Lawler plants his feet and tries to keep him in the dead center of the ring. Hollinsworth checks in with Marquis, but he refuses to submit as he tries to crawl towards the ropes. After a moment, Pookie suddenly jumps up on the apron, grabbing Hollinsworth’s attention! The fans give a mixed reaction to this as Lawler glances over before releasing the Lockdown Hold and going to take a swing at Pookie, who quickly hops off the apron to avoid it! Pookie mocks Lawler, who glares down at him before returning his focus to Marquis, who’s crawled over to the corner opposite where Lawler is now and is trying to pull himself back to his feet, stomping the mat to try and shake off whatever damage the Lockdown Hold did. Lawler measures Marquis and charges across the ring for the Blitz Kick, but Marquis suddenly explodes out of the corner and catches him halfway with The OG Kicks!

Sharper: “OG Kicks! Lawler was thinking Blitz Kick and Marquis cut him off!”

Knots: “Damn that Pookie! He had no business getting up on- oh God, what the hell is that thing doing here!?”

Marquis slowly pulls himself, signaling that this match is over as he pulls Lawler up and starts to hook him for Stackin’ Dem Bands. Pookie is already celebrating the impending victory out on the floor as the fans roar, but it’s not for Pookie or Marquis. As Pookie’s celebration brings him closer to the fans, he suddenly finds himself face-to-face with the Rabbit! Pookie is immediately freaked out and falls to his ass, scrambling away from the barricade as the Rabbit just gives a menacing tilt of its head at him.

Sharper: “That’s… that’s the Rabbit we’ve seen around David Belmont!”

Knots: “That thing has no business being out here! Belmont got his win at Rise To Greatness! Leave us alone, you weirdo!”

Marquis looks towards where Pookie was and sees the Rabbit terrorizing his manager, and he tosses Lawler aside and goes to exit the ring, getting right in the Rabbit’s face and asking it what it thinks it’s doing. The Rabbit just gives another menacing head tilt, but Marquis responds with a forceful shove that sends the Rabbit to the floor! The fans boo this as Marquis tells the Rabbit off before making sure Pookie’s alright. Once his manager confirms he’s good, Marquis rolls back into the ring, where Lawler has now almost gotten back to his feet. Seeing this, Marquis measures him before rushing in for another OG Kicks, but as he leaves his feet, Lawler catches him! The fans can’t help but pop for the show of strength as Marquis’s eyes go wide and he begins freaking out before Lawler plants him into the mat with the Impact Driver! Lawler holds the sit-out position for the pin as Pookie looks on in shock from the floor.

3!

Steve Hollinsworth calls for the bell as "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons hits the speakers again. A few fans cheer, but most boo as Lawler shoves Marquis aside and slowly stands up, nodding to himself as Holinsworth raises his hand in victory.

Phillips: “Here is your winner… Chris Lawler!”

Sharper: “Chris Lawler with a big win over a very game Marquis Dawson here tonight, handing him his first direct pinfall loss.”

Knots: “The New Order absolutely needed this man getting back on the right track, but what the hell was up with that Rabbit? It had no business being out here, and I’ll be unbiased and call it like it is: it screwed Marquis here tonight!”

Lawler climbs out of the ring, ignoring the boos he’s receiving as he heads up the ramp, pleased with his victory and finally moving in the right direction again. Marquis slowly recovers in the ring as Pookie slides in and immediately gets in Hollinsworth’s face, berating him and trying to make him reverse his decision by claiming the Rabbit interfered. As the camera pans over to where we last saw the Rabbit, however, it seems to have disappeared completely, not even laying on the ground anymore. Panning back to the ring shows Hollinsworth firmly shutting down Pookie’s protests and upholding his decision as Pookie gets more heated, while Marquis stirs enough to realize what happened and pounds the mat in frustration.

Sharper: “Let’s now go backstage to Jaina Lancaster.”

The scene opens up backstage where Jaina Lancaster stands in the SCW interview area with Gavin Taylor, Karl Barker, Jack Barker, Jenni Anderson, and Mr. Black. The crowd gives a mixed reaction to seeing them.

Jaina: “Thank you Adam. And especially you Jon for your work.”

Knots: “Anytime!”

Jaina: “I am here with the number one contender to the SCW World Championship, Gavin Taylor and Gavin, the world is wondering about your actions at Rise to Greatness.”

Gavin: “That I defeated Crazy Chris. Showed that he would not be able to stop the freight train that is Making SCW Gavin Again?! Exactly as I drew it up.”

Jaina: “I mean after?”

Gavin: “When we were on the jet on the way back to Club Ga-Blam for the celebration party?”

Jenni: “Gavin…that was the next night?”

Gavin looks around.

Gavin: “Brittany!”

Britney comes into the scene. Gavin, again, “heightens” her name.

Gavin: “Brittany? What happened after I thrashed Copium Chris!”

Brittany pulls out her tablet. She looks at it.

Brittany: “We got on the plane and we headed to Montreal. Customs was particularly a pleasant experience.”

Gavin: “Exactly! See, nothing happened. I don’t know what lies you think the fake news is spreading.”

Jaina smiles.

Jaina: “Must have been just a motivated fan. And given that there is not a scratch on you today…clearly someone who was fighting antiga! It’s a shame these lies are being spread.”

Gavin: “Exactly. I mean I’m sad that Amelia Nevado is no longer champion. We won’t be able to have the match we should have, unruined by Stupid Syren or Sneaky Selena. But I’ll do what I can to beat Dumb Deanna…dumb has a b, you know…and Make SCW Great Again!”

Gavin nods.

Gavin: “Now, if you excuse me, Brittany and I need to go over tape. Sleepy Shaun is going down tonight!”

Gavin walks off with Britney. The All-Star Secret Service follows as Jenni Anderson follows a few strides behind. Jaina just smiles.

Jaina: “We’ll be back after this.”

Sharper: “Unbelieveable…he ran into the World Title main event!”

Knots: “Stop spreading lies!”

The scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Marquis Dawson pacing backstage. Pookie Williams is talking in the background, but the camera can’t quite pick it up. Marquis turns to the camera.

Marquis: “You think that’s cute. I come here looking for opportunity and we have furries running around because they can’t let it go. I punked out David Belmont and for all his talk, at Rise to Greatness, he didn’t pin my shoulders to the mat. I still hold that one on one victory over him. But if we’re gonna keep playin’ these games. Then just come one on one. Let’s settle it all. Or if not…turn me loose. That Chris Lawler, that fossil has a win over me is tragic. But if you think it changes anythin’ I’ve said….I deserve the world. I’m coming to take it. So if you have a problem, come stop me in the ring. If not…stay the hell out of my way. Bet!”

Marquis turns to Pookie and gets his attention. They turn and storm off as we cut back to the ring.

The arena lights shut off completely. The crowd murmurs until Polly's voice can be heard saying:

"You want me to cut the crap? My answer is that you need to cut yours."

The arena stays completely dark until up on the big screen Polly's infamous glowing angry green eyes make an appearance. Most of the screen stays black, but her name fades in, in light purple "Polly Playtime".

An indistinct man's voice then says "Player Number One. Game Over."

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot and a pulsating beat begins to play as light purple strobe lights light up on both sides of the stage. "Too Much" by Dove Cameron begins as Dove immediately begins to sing the chorus, a figure emerges from the back and saunters to the center of the stage between the strobe lights. The overhead arena lights return and we can see that the figure is indeed Polly Playtime, no longer in the sling she had to wear, wearing a very captivating formal black halter dress that goes well over halfway down her legs, with black high heels on her feet. In her left hand is her personalized light purple colored microphone.

With the Target Center’s arena lights completely back up, Polly puts her focus completely on the ring and walks at her chosen pace, which is quite slow. The light purple strobe lights now also face the ring. When she makes her way to the ring, she carefully walks up the steel ring steps and gets into the ring with no assistance whatsoever. As soon as she is in the ring her music fades out. Jason Phillips goes to introduce her.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentleman, at this time-”

Polly looks over and down at where he stands at ringside as she interrupts him on her own microphone.

Polly: “Don’t take this the wrong way Jason, but your vocal services are not needed.”

The crowd boos as Polly does add “But if you can please slide a chair into the ring, you’d be useful.”

He does take a chair from the timekeeper’s area and slides it into Polly. Polly carefully bends down, opens it up and then sits down in it. The crowd’s boos pick up a bit more.

Knots: “After what Polly had to go through due to Crazy Chris, recovering from that injured shoulder he wrongfully gave her, they should all be showing her more respect than this. You don’t like her? Fine, then stay quiet.”

Sharper: “I guess they are just showing their Freedom of Expression.”

Knots: “But if they boo someone that Aloof Alex likes, then all of a sudden it’s the biggest sin ever known, right?”

We focus back in on Polly as she puts her own microphone really close to her lips.

Polly: “Turn the lights off. All of them, except for one spotlight on me. I don’t want to see a single one of you so-called SCW fans out there.”

All of the lights go off and it’s only a few seconds before Polly Playtime is lit up in the ring.

Polly: “Thank you. Now, I just want everyone out there to listen.”

More boos emulate but this time they don’t last as the next few words that come out of Polly’s mouth probably take them aback.

Polly: “I’m sorry.”

Knots: “Wait. What?”

Sharper: “I’m with you on this one.”

Polly: “I have quite a few things to apologize for, which is why I wanted to come out here and just sit here.”

Polly looks down at the ring mat from where she is sitting, but after a few seconds she raises her head up and continues.

Polly: “Confused? I’d be surprised if you aren’t. I’ll put it this way. I’ve been through a lot. A lot more than any single one of you out there will face in an entire lifetime. What Christopher Dumont did to me just prior to Rise to Greatness is only the latest of my never-ending trials. If you are a true fan of SCW, you know every single thing, every single obstacle, every single cheap tactic, every single heartbreak, every single asshole that I have had to face ever since I stepped foot into The Land of the Supreme.”

She puts her personalized microphone out in front of her now, holding it with both hands.

Polly: “So the truth is… I let it all get to me. I let it all tear me apart piece by piece. And some of you back there chose to feast on my body, my soul, and the one thing that I have shown and will ALWAYS show… my heart!”

Polly’s green eyes tell the story and it’s not a long silence from her last two words to her next.

Polly: “I apologize. I apologize to myself that I didn’t grow up sooner to see the fact that just about everyone in this world is only out for themselves. Not just in this ring either. But in all facets of life. Then again, look at who is doing God knows what over in D.C.”

This gets a very brief mixed reaction, but Polly doesn’t care as she motors right along with what is on her mind.

Polly: “It’s almost like there are many of you out there that model your behavior after that. Prime example number one, Meghan Strader. She has to use her family in order to distract her opponents just so she can win and rub it in peoples’ faces. What’s really bad is there are many out there that cheer that brand of behavior, yet boo someone like myself that has stuck here through thick and thin and has very much indeed scratched and clawed her way time after time after time, only to have my success RIPPED away from me by people like Meghan that feel her method is 100 percent kosher. Newsflash Meghan. It isn’t.”

She shakes her head.

Polly: “But from what I’m hearing through the rumor mill, at least the likes of you will no longer be around here in SCW to beg the production team to keep adding to your entrance video every single time you steal victory from someone thanks to your family and trainees.”

The Strader fans in the audience loudly boo, but again Polly’s silence is very short.

Polly: “And you know what? Since I just mentioned scratching and clawing. I will apologize about Shaun Cruze now. I know you’re back there and I know you have Gavin tonight. For right now, wherever you are, I hope you’re at a monitor and watching, because you don’t know me. You have made quite a few assumptions about me just because I am aligned with Mr. Delatosso. You have even told me point blank that I have not been being myself and that I’m just being one of our CEO’s good little doggies. THAT is not the case. Honestly, I have never seen things and people more clearly than I am seeing them right now. You are no exception to that rule, Shaun. To dumb it down for you, scratching and clawing are my two middle names. Heck, I am the QUEEN of scratching and clawing. If you think I am going to stop doing that, you’re insane. I WANT all the success that I KNOW I am capable of earning in this ring. I am not using Mr. Delatosso to get to the top. If that were the case, don’t you think I would be the SCW World Champion right now?”

Polly looks at the crowd.

Polly: “Think about that. As you do, I will say this. I will apologize that you have done nothing but your best to make asses out of you and me. For you doing that, maybe God will forgive you, but I sure won’t.”

The crowd boos.

Sharper: “That’s… not an apology. Not to mention the cheap hit on Meghan.”

Knots: “But she has not put one lie out there. Not one. Doesn’t look like she’s done yet either. You go Polly. Spill those guts.”

Sharper: “I think she’s going to oblige.”

Polly: “Just like how I won’t ever forgive those that felt they needed to be so damn desperate to get one over on me. Lawler. Yeah, Mr. Delatosso has requested that the two of us get along. That’s all fine and dandy, but don’t you dare ever, and I mean EVER, take away all my hard work ever again! Same with you Dexter. I know you and I will be meeting here in this ring again at some point, maybe with that United States Championship on the line too. Let’s hope that next time you can do the right thing and actually wrestle. You know, keeping your grubby paws off of where they don’t belong. At that moment last time, I guess you just couldn’t help yourself, could you? And for that, I apologize. I apologize that I am more than hot enough that you just had to start a scandal that you could have easily avoided.”

Sharper: “That has been adjudicated and dealt with. Serious accusations when Grant hit a school boy to pin Polly last year. And there was a wardrobe malfunction.”

Knots: “No! No! It was intentional! He could have just pinned her, but he knew she was going to kick out and beat him for the Adrenaline Championship!”

Sharper: “Unbelievable. Just smearing anyone and everyone.”

Polly: “As for avoiding things, I have a few things on this. Colleen. A former problem of mine, but now my best friend in the whole world. You don’t need to come out here. You don’t need to be my shield. That night where that idiot made you lose control of the car you were driving, I should have been there. I should have been with you! You are one of the very few people that truly care about me, and I truly care about you! Maybe if I was there, even though I was hurt, I could have done something. Thus, I apologize that you had to miss Rise to Greatness too just because someone has to be so damn jealous of you!”

Polly looks at the camera.

Sharper: “At this point, we should note there is nothing to suggest it was anything more than an accident.”

Knots: “It’s still under investigation!”

Polly: “But I won’t apologize on one front. I won’t apologize when that dirty scumbag is found and brought to justice. I will punt his or her skull, which is the same DAMN thing I should do to you, Christopher!”

The boos explode now but Polly goes over them.

Polly: “You said that you and I were done. But here’s the cold, hard truth. We are done when I SAY we are done! While both you and Aloof Alex will just go on to say “Oh, injuries happen in wrestling, Polly”, what you did to me, dropping my shoulder on that crowd barrier. That was BLATANT! You should have been DQ’d on the spot!”

Knots: “She’s right.”

Sharper: “Aloof Alex…Good God.”

Polly: “But yet again, that is how certain people around here want it to be. They want to take out their enemies and take away their careers. Kill or be killed, huh Christopher? I will be dealing with you first, and I DAMN sure won’t apologize when I either pin you or make you tap out and send you crying back to our not-so-secret web crawler, Aisling. And what’s more…she’ll have plenty of time on her hands as she won’t be back!”

The crowd boos as Polly looks right at the main camera.

Polly: “And I will say this before I take my leave, since you just have to feel special. I apologize to you too, Alex. I attacked you because I was sick and tired of you supporting all of those who wronged me. I was sick and tired of you just letting them one-up me under nefarious circumstances. You did nothing about it. Not one thing! I attacked you to engrave it in that brain of yours that you should be making the right decisions around here. You should have been treating everyone equally, yet you obviously can’t do that. Clearly you have chosen the opposite road.”

The crowd boos.

Polly: “I’m not done yet! Look. I am not saying that I’m some sort of perfect princess. I’m not. But I DAMN sure deserve to have opportunities that are not tampered with in any sort of way! Even back in the day you got your fair opportunities and you cashed in on a good amount of them. I would too if I was given that fair chance! I have put my body on the line for this company, for the fans, even for YOU! I have put my soul out there and most importantly I have worn my HEART on my sleeve and what have I gotten for all of my blood, sweat, and tears, Alex? I’ve gotten NOTHING! And what’s more? You wouldn’t even let me have a front row seat at Rise to Greatness so I could scout the man that you obviously want me to face next, in hopes of him holding me back from the CLEAN championship opportunity that I deserve. Just like Shaun, you made an assumption about me. You assumed I was going to attack Christopher and that was not at all my intention. You have shown clear bias and it is ABUNDANTLY clear that you never want to see me as a champion of any sort here in SCW ever again!”

Polly then looks at the camera again.

Polly: “You’re going to be sorrily disappointed. And one more thing…As for what happened at Rise to Greatness? I had nothing to do with that. Steven took the Star of Tomorrow award and did that of his own free will. I didn’t even influence him. I did nothing. Will that be it? If it is, for now, I am also done. I don’t want to be in a room of people that have always judged me by my cover.”

Sharper: “Oh good lord. Nothing is her fault. Nothing!”

Knots: “It isn’t! She’s been a teamplayer. And she’s got people who will go to bat for her!”

Polly stands up and takes the steel chair with her, rolling out of the ring with it. It’s here at ringside that Chris Dumont hops the crowd barrier. The crowd cheers for him. Polly holds the chair in her right hand in front of her as she speaks with her microphone with her left.

Polly: “No! No. Stop right there. I have spent enough time at the hospital and at an orthopedic surgeon thanks to you! I am not quite cleared to compete yet, but very soon I will be. We will wrestle and settle things when we are scheduled to wrestle, hopefully in a Pure Wrestling style match. Which reminds me, I actually do apologize for accidentally hitting Amelia with that baseball bat that was aimed for you. Tonight though there is no need for you to be a Dumonster. Be a pure gentleman for once in your life, instead of a pure bitch!”

Chris’s anger grows. Polly backs away from him and carefully climbs over one of the crowd barriers. Chris starts to go after her but stops when he hears her say “I apologize. I apologize that you are Aisling’s problem now. I apologize that you can’t control yourself.”

Polly simply walks out of the arena as Chris glares at her.

We cut to the European Fiery Nation locker room to see Kemal Yilmaz watching the monitor and smiling before turning around.

Yilmaz: “Good on you Polly. Tell them what it’s all about…and the Troupe…Foundation, whatever they’re going on.”

A knock is heard at the door. Yilmaz turns.

Yilmaz: “Can someone get that?”

Ludvig Eriksson walks over to the door as we see Federico Gasperoni oiling himself up for his match later. Eriksson opens the door and Dean Black stands on the other side.

Black: “Can I come in?”

Eriksson opens the door and Dean Black comes in.

Yilmaz: “Dean, good to see you-“

Black: “I’m not here to have a conversation or chat. I’m here to let you know that Frank is not particularly pleased with the quality of work he’s getting from you all. Effort is no longer enough in his mind. And the fact that the Underground Championship still is around Asher’s waist…”

Yilmaz: “I figured I could take him-“

Oskar: “Yeah and instead you screwed up.”

Yilmaz turns to Oskar.

Dakon: “Whoa…Oskar, not now-“

Ginny: “Oskar-“

Oskar: “No! You decided to suddenly doubt everything because Konrad came in here. You were the one who took us on this trip and at the last minute, you chicken out. I never thought you earned being our leader. Dakon…he’s been here the longest. Or Ginny-“

Ginny: “Oskar!”

Yilmaz: “Oskar…I made my decision. I stand by my decision.”

Oskar: “Did Konrad give you the pat on the back?”

Black: “You can leave your bickering to yourselve. But he wants to see results or you can understand you can’t count on his support for your broader goals.”

Black turns and leaves the room. Yilmaz watches him leave and turns back to Oskar.

Oskar: “Good going…”

Yilmaz just looks at Oskar as Oskar walks off. Ginny runs her hand through her hair. Dakon then follows after Oskar as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Jessica Winters with CHBK in the interview area.

Jessica: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Jessica Winters here and I’m with our COO, Alex Desoubrais, better known to our fans as CHBK and CHBK, I need to ask…you heard Polly’s rant, speech…so-called apology. Clearly she’s got a lot on her mind.”

CHBK: “Good for her. All I hear is another wrestler who never did anything wrong and believes the world is owed to them. She earns shots, I have no problem honouring them. But that’s the issue…she needs to earn them. The ceiling she claims is there, is by her own limitations. She wanted another Adrenaline Championship shot…Frank Delatosso promised one to her. Gave one to Dawn. Neither in my opinion had earned one. You know who has…Kirsten Scott. She earned it at Rise to Greatness. And I will honour that shot. If Polly has a problem, stop running from your issues. To that end…”

CHBK pauses.

CHBK: “I don’t buy for a second that she had nothing to do with the attack on Chris Dumont. She didn’t attack him directly; I know she wasn’t going to risk being fired and her bodyguards are privately employed and well, they’ll just not be allowed in the building. But I think it’s time for her to stop running…and that’s why, as of next week, I’m reinstating Anansi Rivers!”

The crowd roars.

Knots: “But…she’s suspended…and she’s just focused on revenge!”

Sharper: “Well she may get her chance!”

Jessica: “She won’t be happy there. Someone else though we know is a bit….surprised…have you had a chance to look at the matter with Deanna Frost and this schedule?”

CHBK: “That was partially news to me. I heard of some marketing ploy, and it looks like Delatosso pushed it through. All I’ll say is this – if Deanna Frost is committed to defending her three titles, the SCW rules say that all titles must be defended within 60 days. The Rise to Greatness break resets the timer. I will do my best to be fair. But I may not be able to do much about the commitments she’s being placed under outside of SCW promoted events.”

Jessica: “Thank you for that clarification. I’ll let you go as I know you’ve got plenty on your plate. Back to ringside.”

CHBK nods and the scene cuts away.

Knots: “If that wasn’t a sign of him playing favourites?!””

Sharper: “Polly doesn’t like it. Start getting it done in the ring!”

Crystal Zdunich vs. Marie Jones

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall.”

The arena lights dim and the crowd buzz builds. An old vintage Hollywood countdown appears on the screen as it begins to clock down.

Suddenly, “Like Me” by Girlicious blasts through the speakers and the arena explodes with cheers. Spotlights sweep the stage as a group of paparazzi rush out first, cameras flashing wildly. A red carpet is rolled down the ramp, instantly turning the entranceway into a Hollywood premiere. A moment later, “The Rose Goddess” Crystal Zdunich steps through the curtain in her matching white and pink gear and she is glowing with confidence. At her side is her son, Brayden Williams she takes his hand for a brief moment before looking out at the crowd with a huge smile as the crowd just roars with huge cheers

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen being accompanied to the ring by her son Brayden Williams… introducing from Los Angeles, California… originally from Detroit, Michigan… she is THE ROSE GODDESS… CRYSTAL ZDUNICH!”

Crystal poses at the top of the ramp, one hand on her hip, the other blowing a kiss to the crowd as the cameras flash. She turns slightly, hitting a few glamorous angles for the “paparazzi,” then starts down the red carpet with a confident, superstar strut, Brayden walking proudly beside her.

Halfway down the ramp, she stops and kneels beside a young female fan in the front row, pulling out a single rose and handing it to her with a warm smile. The crowd cheers loudly as Crystal points to her and nods, grabbing a nearby phone and taking a selfie with the fan. She gives the fan a gentle wink and stands back up, soaking in the cheers.

She continues to the ring, stopping again to pose on both sides of the ramp, playing to the fans and letting the moment breathe. At ringside Brayden takes his place on the side and Crystal then climbs the steps and slips between the ropes.

As the beat hits, Crystal moves to the center of the ring and drops into a flawless split, holding the pose as the crowd pops. She rises smoothly, flips her hair back, and strikes another confident, Hollywood-worthy pose toward the hard camera.

She steps onto the middle rope, arms spread wide, basking in the love from the crowd—the Rose Goddess in her element—before hopping down, still smiling, still posing, and ready for the fight.

"You and I walk a fragile line

I have known it all this time

But I never thought I'd live to see it break

It's getting dark and its all too quiet

And I can't trust anything now

And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"

Phillips: “And her opponent…”

"Holding my breathe, won't lose you again

Something's made your eyes go cold"

Phillips: “...from Boston, Massachusetts, "The Phoenix" Marie Jones!”

A spotlight shines down at the top of the entrance ramp. Pyro goes off. Then Marie Annabelle Jones steps through the curtain, wearing her ring gear and her signature black leather jacket. A broad, somewhat condescending grin is on her face as she gaze out at the fans in the arena who cheer loudly. The Tron shows images of her striking at her opponents with her finishing and signature moves as the lyrics of "Haunted" by Taylor Swift begin to flow through the arena.  Marie begins to make her way down towards the ring. As for Marie herself, she stops to slap a few high fives with fans, recognizing them as they cheer her. Then her focus is solely on the ring and the determined stride with which she walks tells that story.  Marie hops up onto the ring apron. She strikes a sultry and sexy pose for the audience. Marie turns and leaps over the top rope and into the ring.  She then hops up onto the second turnbuckle of the nearby corner and holds her arms up high into the air, getting a reaction from the crowd.

The two trade chops to start the match. Marie gets the better of the exchange. She whips Crystal into the ropes and delivers a flapjack. Jones kips up immediately and strikes back with a spinning heel kick and a spinning flying forearm. Jones with Muay Thai Knee Strikes. Zdunich rolls to the outside to break up the momentum but Marie doesn’t relent. She launches herself over the top with a suicide corkscrew plancha wiping out Crystal. Marie instantly picks her up and rolls her back into the ring. Marie stands perched on the ring apron, waiting for Zdunich to get back to her feet. Marie with a springboard dropkick.

Sharper: “And Marie right onto Zdunich. The springboard into the dropkick and quickly Marie taking control of this one.”

Knots: “Zdunich wanting to build from Rise to Greatness and Marie Jones, on her birthday no less, stopping her.”

Jones pulls her back to her feet. She whips Zdunich into the ropes but lowers her head too early and Crystal kicks her in the face. Crystal with a standing enziguri. Crystal with a snape mare, a kick to the back, and then a tilt-a-whirl arm drag. Crystal goes for a springboard moonsault and connects. Instead of going for the cover Zdunich goes up top. She goes for a diving hurricinrana and it connects, but Marie rolls through into a cover…

1…

2…Kickout by Crystal!

Sharper: “Marie with another counter, but only a two!”

Knots: “But Zdunich with the response. Maybe she can give Marie a special birthday gift. The start of a winning streak!”

Zdunich with a superkick and then a body slam. Crystal goes for another springboard moonsault but Marie rolls out of the way. Zdunich lands on her feet. Crystal with a tilt a whirl ddt. Crystal goes for Smell The Roses, the handspring standing moonsault, but Marie gets her knees up at the last second, driving them into her gut.  Marie with a kip up into a frankensteiner.

Sharper: “And the agility. Again! Taking over Zdunich.”

Knots: “Almost drove her down head first!”

Jones hits the ropes and drops Crystal with Kissed By Fire, the Busaiku Knee Kick. Jones then drills Zdunich with a bulldog takedown and follows that up with Divine Impact, the lionsault. Marie hooks the leg…

1…

2…Kickout by Crystal!

Jones pulls Crystal back to her feet. Crystal with Rotten Tomatoes out of nowhere! She goes for Flashing Lights but Marie ducks and counters with a back cracker. Marie hits the ropes and lands a harley race style high knee. Jones pulls her back up and sets her up for The Hot Shot, the pedigree, but Zdunich back drops out of it. Crystal with a superkick. She whips Marie in but Marie reverses. Zdunich goes for a sunset flip but Marie rolls through and immediately turns Crystal over into the Angel’s Arch.

Sharper: “Angel’s Arch. Crystal could be in trouble. But she’s fighting.”

Knots: “Clawing more like it. Trying to get her to the ropes.”

Zdunich fights and claws to try and reach the bottom rope. She is almost there but Marie drags her back out to the center of the ring. Crystal still won’t quit. She fights again, struggling and clawing inch by inch to reach the ropes, until finally she reaches the bottom rope. Jones breaks the hold. Marie with a belly to back suplex and a snap suplex, both focusing on that lower back. Marie takes Crystal and then a bow and arrow submission.

Sharper: “Trying something else now.”

Knots: “Zdunich won’t quit. We’re seeing her fight for her life. There’s some more heart there!”

Zdunich still won’t give up. Marie keeps the hold locked in as long as she can before she breaks the hold. Jones with another belly to back suplex and another snap suplex. She rolls Crystal over onto her face. Jones with Divine Impact, the lionsault, onto Zdunich’s lower back. Marie tries to reapply the Angel’s Arch but Crystal counters into a small package…

1…

2…Kickout!

Jones pops up quickly and snaps off another Kissed by Fire! She pulls Zdunich back to her feet, sets her up, and goes for Ave Maria, the headlock driver, but Crystal pushes her off into the ropes, Marie rebounds and drives her face first into her knee. Marie then hooks her for a Hot Shot, the pedigree, and connects!

Sharper: “Hot Shot! Hot Shot! Zdunich driven into the mat.”

Knots: “And I think Marie is going to make this a happy birthday!”

Jones takes Crystal and turns her back over into the Angel’s Arch.  She sits back on the liontamer, wrenching it in tight. After several excruciating seconds Crystal finally taps out. The bell sounds.

Phillips: “Ladies and gentlemen, here is your winner, via submission, Marie Jones!”

Marie lets go and steps forward. She looks around and raises her arm. The official comes over and holds it up. She then glances back at Zdunich before turning to the crowd.

Sharper: “Marie Jones rebounds from Rise to Greatness. On her birthday, no less. And with a strong victory against a hungry Crystal Zdunich.”

Knots: “You’re not wrong there. But Marie just was hungrier!”

Marie Jones celebrates as Crystal Zdunich stirs and Breakdown cuts away.

Colleen MacDonald is shown watching the match in a luxury suite. Colleen takes a moment and nods. We then see Jaina Lancaster walking over to her and turning to her, microphone in hand.

Jaina: “Colleen MacDonald, our SCW Television Champion, watching the show from this luxury box, paid for by the SCW CEO, Frank Delatosso. Could we get a comment?”

Colleen just nods before turning to her.

Colleen: “Before you ask anything, I’m here enjoying as best as I can while I wait for me to be cleared. Hopefully soon. Hopefully so I can get back to competing and defending my title. And I know people are going to read into my being in this suite…I’m here to support my friends, to keep up with the competition, and make sure people know I’m not that far away and when I return, I will raise hell!”

There are some cheers from the crowd.

Jaina: “Understood. Have you heard anything about the individuals responsible for this…Polly saying she wants to make them pay and-“

Colleen: “I’m leaving that to the police, for now. But if anyone I know was involved…if it was intentional….Polly will need to get into line and-“

Suddenly, the doors open and we see a couple of porters moving a rolling tray with food into the suite. They stop and start to place it onto the cabinets. Colleen looks a bit confused. Jaina looks around.

Jaina: “Oh…taking advantage of-“

Colleen: “I didn’t order this.”

Just then, another cart rolls in with a massive birthday cake on it. The crowd roars as we then see a couple of what we assume are unhoused persons step in and look around. Kimberly Williams steps in after them.

Kim: “Gather round! Help yourself! Time for an AMAZING birthday. Marie wins. You win. Colleen! Hi! You’re almost back to kicking ass. And look at that cake!”

Jaina turns to Kim.

Jaina: “Kim?! What are you doing here?”

Kim: “Hosting a birthday party. For me. Spared NO expense. And sharing it with some of the Kimmymaniacs!”

Jaina: “But they’re…uh…”

Kim: “They’re still people and people deserve food! Keep bringing it in!”

Kim motions as we see a couple more homeless people come into the room. Colleen looks on as we then see another tray of food being brought in as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we open up to see Destiny Page standing with the members of the Vision, Clyde Sutter, Melinda Braddock, and Fiona Logan backstage.

Page: “Welcome back to Breakdown. Destiny Page here and I’m with the Vision and you were successful at Rise to Greatness, turning back the challenge of Scarlett Carsons and Kirsten Scott.”

Melinda: “Fate willed it…and we just happened to put it into motion.”

Fiona turns away briefly before she smirks.

Melinda: “Perhaps maybe we should be asking for recognition in the Adrenaline Championship. We beat Kirsten the night before. Now she’s next in line there.”

Fiona: “Or we can just keep destroying anyone in our way. Carsons had an issue with what we said about Colleen. Sometimes bad things happen. If Colleen has a problem, when she’s ready, we can take her TV Title maybe from her.”

Melinda: “That would be great. We do need more gold.”

Sutter: “Whatever fate decides, my dear…but there is still other things missing.”

Melinda: “The SCW World Tag Team Titles…”

Fiona: “And we know that the Glimmers and Light in the Darkness may be next in line…rematches and all, but we’ll stand right there, ready to stop anyone else from getting past us, and pushing whoever loses beneath us. That’s what we’re going to control and we’re going to take!”

Fiona then pats on Melinda’s back and starts to walk off. Melinda turns to Clyde and smirks before they head off.

Page: “Back to ringside.”

We see Colleen watching, almost glaring, before we pan up to see more people in the luxury box, seemingly celebrating Kim’s (and Marie’s) birthday. The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area we see Syren making her way down a corridor, accompanied by Lexy Chapel dressed in a long skirt and t-shirt that reads ‘REJOICE, LEXY NATION’. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

“Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren and Lexy walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren and Lexy both walk down the walkway to the crowd barricade, occasionally slapping the hands of fans, before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area.

Sharper: “Syren, after a victorious Rise to Greatness, arriving tonight, through the crowd. Through her fans.”

Knots: “Just milking this. You can win with grace. And if we ran that match back, I think Bree would come out on top. Syren got lucky.”

Sharper: “Lucky or not, she won. That’s what matters. That’s why we have the matches!”

Syren jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them. Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Lexy then goes over to the corner and grabs a microphone waiting for them. Syren stands in the ring, walking around as Lexy Chapel turns to the crowd. The music fades out.

Chapel: “Fans…please allow me to introduce to you the woman who isn’t just going to go away. The woman who has held the World Championship more than anyone else. The woman who has defined a generation…”

Syren tries to get Lexy to calm down.

Chapel: “No! The woman who makes God wish she was her in wrestling form!”

Syren looks down, shaking her head.

Chapel: “Too much?”

Syren nods.

Chapel: “She is my hall of famer and yours….Syren!”

The crowd roars as Syren steps up and takes the microphone from Chapel who now is on her knees, almost genuflecting towards Syren. Lexy stands up and smiles as she walks around.

Syren: “Thanks Lexy for that…a bit much.”

Lexy then runs over and leans over to the microphone.

Chapel: “Because I’ve had to get this out after MONTHS of injustice!”

The crowd roars as Syren shrugs as she looks around.

Syren: “I can’t disagree. But Ravyn’s allowed back backstage. Lexy is back in my corner. And I am back winning at Rise to Greatness!”

The crowd roars.

Syren: “I thought that this was the year that I would shown to be obsolete. That my time at the top is over. At the ripe age of thirty-six…”

Chapel runs back in.

Chapel: “A woman’s sexual peak no less!”

The crowd roars as Syren shakes her head. Lexy just points to Syren and nods.

Syren: “Thanks Lexy…”

Chapel gives a thumbs up.

Syren: “But at thirty-six, I was being written off. Too many miles on the road. Too many slams over the years. It was time to move on and Bree Lancaster was going to shove me off the top of the mountain. Well that didn’t happen and Bree, I think I gave you a hell of a fight. One that at the end of the night ended with you pinned for a three count and Syren defeating you, Bree, after you said this would be your moment. This would be where you’d take that mantle and run. But I’m not ready to give it up!”

The crowd roars. She looks around.

Syren: “See, Bree, I know you’re talented. I would never say otherwise. You’ve won the World Title and I think at some point you may again, but you thought you had this match won because you’ve listened to the same song and dance that Delatosso has been feeding people the last six months. For some reason he doesn’t like me. Well that’s all well and good, because I think a few other things matter right now. I’ve still got plenty in the tank and I’m pretty sure the fans of SCW want to see me create new records!”

The crowd roars.

Syren: “See, I’m motivated by one thing…that’s competition. That’s getting better. That’s continuing to fight. And I don’t need to do it while being fodder for the tabloids. Trust me, I know the fun of being with a Helms and I hope for your children, that this gets dealt with. But Bree, this is getting to be a bit predictable. And given who you’re with, when is it when Josh Hudson is cheating on you with another hot blonde. Does TMZ just sit outside your house? And Delatosso is okay with it? You don’t have Mason to blame for it anymore…Take another piece of advice, you want to be champion and respected…it needs all of your focus and-“

Lancaster: “How about you shut the hell up? You keep any mention of my kids out of your mouth. And my personal life is my business, not yours. And give the past of who you’re married to, I don’t think you have any right to lecture me about scandal.”

Bree Lancaster storms out from the back, microphone in hand.

Syren: “Struck a nerve. Welcome to what you did every week you dismissed me.”

Lancaster: “You know I was going to be the bigger person. That’s what someone like me, the Classet, would do. Let you have your moment where you can pretend that you aren’t on borrowed time. You had…sorry, have talent. But all I said was your time on top was coming to an end. I didn’t realize mortality bothered you so much. But while I’m out living a complete life, and that includes the unwanted intrusions, I came back to take your spot so you can finally screw off for good. No more one year contracts. No more needing to make big claims just to push yourself. You can go home and slowly go deaf dealing with that dimwitted brat that hasn’t grown up since middle school. But let-“

Syren cuts her off.

Syren: “Bree…can we cut to the fun part? You’re going to say Rise to Greatness was a fluke. Well I’m not just ragebaiting you because I’m bored. I’m here to make a clear statement to you, to Gavin, to Delatosso, to ANYONE who doubts me. I beat you at Rise to Greatness. I’ll do it again. Name the time and place…”

Bree: “Well, Syren…I’ll leave that to Delatosso. But I don’t need a match to send a message.”

Bree drops the microphone and starts to storm down to the ring. Syren drops the microphone and steps back. Lexy looks around and drops down to the floor and backs up.

Sharper: “Bree Lancaster advancing to the ring and we may be getting round two tonight!”

Knots: “Come on Bree! Kick her ass!”

Bree then rushes the ring and slides in. She gets up and Syren nails her with a hard right. Bree fires back. They trade blows in the middle of the ring as the crowd roars. Syren then starts to get the advantage, nailing Bree with a hard right and then another and another. She gets her to the ropes and fires her off. Bree bounces off the ropes on the side facing the stage. Syren goes for a Syren’s Call, but Bree ducks. Syren lands on her feet by the ropes. Bree stops and crouches down. Syren turns and Bree goes for the Classifier, but Syren side steps and sends Bree through the ropes to the floor. Bree rolls through and moves to her feet. Syren turns and backs up, motioning for her to get back into the ring.

Sharper: “Syren sidesteps Bree. Bree to the floor! And Syren’s not done!”

Knots: “Come on Bree, focus. You have her.”

Sharper: “Bree getting back up and…you’ve got to be kidding me…”

The crowd roars. Bree turns to the stage as we see William Heaven walking out from the back. He just smirks. Bree looks confused before the crowd makes even more noise. Lexy yells out and Syren turns around as Waylon Creek slides into the ring and rushes Syren and hits a pounce, throwing Syren back and into the ropes before she drops to the mat. The crowd ohs as the crowd looks on. Bree smirks as she turns back to Heaven who is now walking to the ring. Bree then backs away as Syren slowly grabs at the ropes. Creek then grabs her and just hoists her up and throws her back. Syren slams hard onto the mat and rolls over.

Sharper: “Waylon Creek! William Heaven! We’ve not seen them since Last October!”

Knots: “And Creek is destroying Syren!”

Syren starts to get up and Heaven reaches the ring. Lancaster continues to head to the back as Creek then grabs Syren and locks in the Canary. The crowd roars, while some cheer, some boo. The crowd looks on as Syren falls back to the mat. Creek keeps pushing down. Lexy then looks around, uncertain of what to do before sliding into the ring. She then runs over and jumps onto Creek’s back.

Sharper: “Creek with the Canary. Syren needs help! She needs help!”

Knots: “Lexy’s helping! Lexy onto Creek’s back!”

Sharper: “Syren is being paralyzed by the Canary and…”

Creek lets go and stands up, Lexy still on his back, trying to choke him. He then reaches up and grabs her by the head and flips her forward, slamming her to the mat. Lexy rolls over and Creek looks down at him. Heaven just looks on, watching, a smile on his face. Syren rolls over, coughing, grabbing at her throat. Lexy rolls over and looks up, fear coming across her face. Creek then stands over her, tilting his head, almost as if considering his options. He then starts to lift his leg, as if to stomp down onto the head of Lexy, but officials and agents run down to the ring. They slide into the ring and quickly stand in front of Creek, stopping him from continuing his assault. A few go over to Syren to check on her. We then see CHBK making his way down to the ring as Lucas Knight slides into the ring and goes over to stop Creek as well. CHBK looks at Heaven as Heaven just smiles and then turns to the ring.

Heaven: “Creek! My boy…come!”

Creek turns and heads over to the ropes. He then steps through them and drops down, only a few feet from CHBK. CHBK looks at both before Heaven smirks again and starts to head to the back. CHBK then slides into the ring and goes over to check on Lexy Chapel. Creek heads to the back, led by Heaven, as the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Backstage, we see William Heaven in front of a camera. Waylon Creek is in the background.

Heaven: “Your worst nightmare is back, Alex! And we are coming for blood!”

We hear CHBK in the background.

CHBK: “Remove them the building!”

Creek turns as we see Lucas Knight leading the other agents in trying to get Creek and Heaven out of the building. Creek keeps obstructing. Heaven then heads over to him.

Heaven: “Come on Waylon…we’ve sent our message tonight!”

Creek then steps back and turns as the officials surround both and start to escort them from the building. We then see Polly Playtime watching down the hallway, a smirk on her face. CHBK glances at her and turns as he heads in the opposite direction. We then see Ravyn Taylor stepping forward, showing that she is potentially pregnant.

Ravyn: “Where is she?”

CHBK points and Ravyn walks with CHBK as the scene cuts away.

Osiron vs. Val Morley

We cut to the ring to see a bald man, wearing a towel, standing in the ring, trying to get the attention of some of the female fans.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a ten minute time limit. First, already in the ring, from Las Vegas, Nevada, he is Val Morley!”

The opening sounds of “Bathroom Dance” by Hildur Guanadottir begins to filter through the arena. Stepping out from the back stands Orison. He appears focused only on the ring. Walking out behind him is his manager, Tyr who is wearing a black coat with a hood.. They stand atop the ramp, but the instrumental shifts into the opening of “Forlorn” by AMENRA. Once that kicks in, Orison and Tyr make their way down to the square circle. Tyr removes his hood and holds a smirk on his face.

Phillips: “His opponent, on his way to the ring, weighing in at two-hundred and forty-five pounds, accompanied by the man known as Tyr, he is…ORISON!!!”

Upon reaching the ring, Orison slowly makes his way up the ring steps and climbs the turnbuckle. He doesn’t look at the crowd, only the center of the ring. Orison then turns to look down at Tyr, who gives him a thumbs up before shifting it to a thumbs down. Orison drops to the mat, his focus returning to his opponent, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “The man known as Osiron making his debut here tonight…and Tyr giving the thumbs down, I assume to his opponent, Val Morley.”

Knots: “Who the hell is this guy? Where did SCW find him?!”

The bell sounds. Val Morley takes his towel off and spins it around before placing it on the top rope. He then smirks before stepping up and immediately, Orison just blasts him with an open handed slap to the jaw. Morley staggers and falls over to his knees. He gets up, stunned, holding his jaw before then getting up. Osiron grabs him and just launches him into the ropes. Morley bounces off and Osiron just drops him with a shoulder. Morley hits the mat and rolls over. Tyr says something to Orison and as Morley gets up. Morley goes to throw a punch, but Orison  kicks him in the ribs and nails him with a hard right and then another before grabbing him by his head and running him across the ring, throwing him through the ropes and Morley lands almost right on his head on the floor. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “Oh my! Right on his head! Osiron manhandling Morley!”

Knots: “Good news. Morley may not know where he is. The referee needs to get in there.”

Sharper: “And Osiron following up!”

Osiron exits the ring as Morley tries to get up to his feet. Orison then hooks him up, hoisting him up and turns before violently ramming him back first into the steel steps. The top half bowl over as Morley falls over to his side. Osiron gets up and looks around as Tyr gives a satisfied smile.

Sharper: “And into the steps! Those steel steps!”

Osiron paces a bit before the official tries to get him back in the ring, but Orison grabs Morley and drags him up and rolls him into the ring. Morley rolls over to the middle of the ring. Morley slowly gets up and Orison grabs him and scoops him up and places him in the tree of woe. Osiron then slides to the floor and grabs the head of Morley, pulling on it. Morley yells in pain as the official calls for the break.

Osiron lets go and walks around the ringside area. Morley drops to the mat. He then rolls over and stirs as Osiron slides in. Morley gets up and Osiron hoists him up onto his shoulders and then drops down with the Reign in Blood. The crowd ohs. Osiron leans back for the pin.

Morley throws his shoulder up.

Knots: “Just stay down Morley. I don’t think this is wise.”

Sharper: “Osiron just turning back to Morley as if offended he even thought about kicking out.”

Osiron grabs Morley by the head and drags him up. He then hoists him up into a military press before then dropping him down onto his shoulder and hitting a running powerslam. The crowd ohs. Osiron rolls through and gets up. Morley remains down as the crowd looks on. Tyr then gives another thumbs down. Osiron turns back to Morley and drags him up. He then kicks him in the ribs and then hoists him up before then spiking him into the mat with the Invocation. The crowd ohs. Osiron then goes for the pin.

Osiron then pulls his head up. The crowd roars. Osiron looks around and then grabs him and drags him up again and then places his head between his legs. Osiron looks around and then hoists him up. He holds him up for a moment before spiking him again with a second Invocation!

Sharper: “And again! Osiron driving Morley into the mat. Morley completely dominated.”

Knots: “Maybe he’ll be smart enough to stay down and just go away!”

Osiron goes for the pin.

The bell sounds. Osiron pushes off and gets up. Osiron looks down at Morley as Morley is just laid out.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Osiron!”

Knots: “Well that’ll be the last time we see Morley!”

Sharper: “Utter dominance by Osiron.”

Knots: “You a Mortal Kombat fan? That’s a flawless victory!”

Osiron then steps over Morley as Tyr stands on the apron, showing him off. Osiron then steps through the ropes and down to the floor. Tyr walks down the steps. He starts to lead him to the back as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, Kirsten Scott stands with Jessica Winters in the SCW interview area.

Winters: “Kirsten, you had a busy Rise to Greatness weekend. It didn’t start as you hoped, but you left that weekend as the number one contender to the SCW Adrenaline Champion, but now, the question is…when you’ll get your shot. Someone you know very well, Deanna Frost, is the champion, but she has a bit of a full schedule.”

Scott: “And I have no doubt she’ll rise to the occasion. I know, that may sound shocking from me, but I can’t be angry at someone who fights like she does, like I do. That’s a champion. And I stand here knowing I may be waiting a bit. But it sounds like there are a few people who may want a reality check of their own. The Vision…Polly Playtime. I’m not going to be hard to find. And that’s just the start. If I have to wait, I will, patiently and I will strike when I need to. But until then, I won’t just twiddle my thoughts. If Polly Playtime thinks she deserves it over me, then I’m right here. If the Vision want to prove that Rise to Greatness wasn’t a fluke…to keep other teams down….I’ll be right there. If others have a problem with how I carry myself…I’m not hard to find!”

Scott stops and looks over to her left, off screen. We then see Scarlett Carsons come into view.

Carsons: “You can try and take on the world, but if the Vision are going to be on your list, I plan to be right there. Especially as we both know that was no indication of who was better. We had better chemistry than I thought…”

Carsons then looks at Scott.

Carsons: “I hope that won’t be the last time we compete together. We could do some noteworthy things. You are always welcome to join me in the Red Garden.”

Carsons walks past as Scott watches her leave. She nods as the scene cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see La Pequena Luz and Amelia Nevado talking backstage, almost looking like a scene from a year earlier. We then see Seraphina Blaze walking over to them and Amelia and Luz turn, both smiles, and happy to see them.

Amelia: “Seraphina…you’re here?”

Blaze: “In the flesh. Just signed a new contract. I’m the newest signee to SCW!”

Luz: “Wonderful news. Congratulations!”

Blaze: “And looks like I came back at a good time. I was worried there for a bit.”

Luz: “I didn’t worry about a thing.”

Amelia just silently nods.

Amelia: “I’m still sorry and-“

Luz: “Shhh….when it counted, you didn’t falter.”

???: “Well that’s a juicy peach I’ve not laid eyes on in a while.”

Luz, Nevado, and Blaze turn as Gia and Gina Glimmer step into the scene.

Blaze: “Excuse me?”

Gia (we think): “KABLAMia…shame we’re not going back. We could have a lot of fun there.”

Gina (we think): “As you did. Of course, if you were up for it.”

Amelia: “Now you-“

Luz: “Amelia…”

Blaze: “It’s fine. I know they’re just trying to get under my skin.”

Gia (we think): “Or close to it.”

Amelia steps up as Blaze is then moved behind her.

Amelia: “She’s got her own focuses. But you and her are not going to play your games there.”

Gina (we think): “If I remember, she’s the one who played our game in that battle royal.”

Blaze just shrugs.

Luz: “Then maybe it’s time you play someone else’s game.”

Gia (we think): “Against the no longer best team in SCW. I remember that…House of Frost put that in order and you have no one to blame but yourselves.”

Amelia: “Though we did beat you-“

Gina (we think): “That night.”

Amelia: “And put you on a losing streak.”

Gia and Gina both pause, the first sign of actual annoyance from them.

Gia (we think): “Tonight, we’ll fix that. But don’t get us wrong. We’re getting the House of Frost next. We’re getting OUR rematch next.”

Gina (we think): “And this time you won’t stop us…nor are we going to need to humiliate you any other way than in the ring.”

Gina and Gia then walk past as Amelia and Luz watch them leave. Blaze turns to the members of Light in the Darkness.

Blaze: “Sorry, I-“

Amelia: “Nothing to apologize over. But I think we may have just gotten some other clarity.”

Luz: “One way or another…”

The scene cuts away.

The opening riff to "Song for the Dead" by Queens of the Stone Age kicks in. At the 37 second mark, the name "Asher Hayes" blares through the PA system, and Asher appears on the stage, wearing a t-shirt and jeans, and the SCW Underground Championship. He bows down for a few moments before standing up straight, throwing both fists in the air, before making his way towards the ring.

Sharper: “There is, still, your Underground Champion. Surviving a bloody encounter against Kemal Yilmaz, Kimberly Williams, and David Striker, he certainly earned some respect-“

Knots: “You know what would be better? If he handed over the title. He could be in line for a World Title shot. He beat Glory. Aim there!”

“It's late enough to go driving
And see what's mine
Life's the study of dying
How to do it right"

He makes his way down the ramp as the reaction of the crowd rains down upon him. He walks up the ring steps and climbs to the top turnbuckle, lifting both fists into the air, simply looking at the crowd before dropping down and running to the opposite side.

“You're a holy roller
If you bettin' to lose
If you're hanging around
I'm holding the noose”

He stands, once again, on the top rope. He waits for a moment and looks around the arena before hops down. He then turns and asks for a microphone from Jason Phillips. Phillips hands him a microphone. Asher takes it and moves back to the ring. He runs his hand through his hair and then looks around, his music fading out.

Asher: “Do you need me to prove anything more?”

Asher Hayes looks at the camera and then walks over to it.

Asher: “David Striker, going to still run your mouth? Say that I’m a joke?”

Asher scoffs.

Asher: “Kim? Have I earned your respect in your battleground of blood?”

Asher extends his arms. He then turns back to the camera.

Asher: “Kemal…are you able to look at yourself in the mirror now? I at least know that Konrad Raab wouldn’t be a pawn like you are! And how’s that turning out? Huh?”

Asher looks at the camera and then steps back, turning to the crowd.

Asher: “I told you all I would come and I would bring my own violence. I told you all that I was going to step up and step out of the shadows. On the Rise to Greatness pre-show, I accepted Cid’s Male Wrestler of the Year award….which by the way, Cid, if you do see this, let me know where you want me to drop it off….”

Asher pauses a moment.

Asher: “But I took that award to give me something to focus on. I’m not here to be attached at Rachel Foxx’s side, to be Cid Turner’s hype-man, or whatever the hell I was with Holly Adams. I am now here to take the position I should’ve years ago. And it starts with my proving myself with this title!”

The crowd roars as Asher Hayes looks out at the crowd.

Asher: “And I know what I’m capable of. I took Glory Braddock to the limit a few months ago and I finally beat her. And I don’t know if she’s been the same. But Rise to Greatness, that was something different. Something almost animalistic and I came out and sparks flew. And I spilled the blood of those against me, and I spilled my own blood and I came out on top, showing I can be just as sick and twisted as anyone else!”

The crowd cheers.

Knots: “They’re cheering this! They’re just all bloodthirsty!”

Asher then walks back over to the camera and looks at it.

Asher: “So…have I earned your respect? Well, if you don’t think so, or you have a problem with it, I’m right here!”

Asher Hayes looks at the camera and backs up a bit before the crowd roars as we see a figure running along the back of the ring and sliding in. We then see Oskar Theron running over and nailing Asher Hayes in the back of the head. Asher turns around and falls into the corner. Oskar then nails Asher with a hard right and then another and another and another, hammering away on Asher Hayes while he’s in the corner. He then drags him out and throws him down to the ring. Asher starts to get up and Oskar heads over and grabs the Underground Championship, unclasping it from Asher’s waist, causing it to fall to the mat.

Sharper: “Oskar Theron attacking Asher Hayes. Kemal and the EFN chewed out earlier and Oskar going after Asher Hayes.”

Knots: “Going after the title. I think he’s stepping up!”

Oskar reaches under Asher and grabs the SCW Underground Championship. He then turns and goes to leave, but Asher Hayes turns and lunges and grabs the ankle of Oskar, pulling him down. Oskar falls over and Asher lunges and pulls himself forward and mounts Oskar, nailing him with shot after shot after shot. The crowd erupts as Asher Hayes gets a few good shots in. Oskar manages to push him off and Asher rolls over. He gets up and Asher lunges for the title, as does Oskar, but this allows Asher to knee Oskar in the side of the head, knocking him over. Asher then grabs the SCW Underground Championship and turns around. Oskar gets up and Asher runs and nails him with the Underground Championship belt right in the head. Oskar goes down as Asher walks around the ring. The crowd cheers.

Sharper: “Blasting Oskar Theron with the Underground Championship!”

Knots: “Oskar is just trying to write a barbaric practice!”

Sharper: “He’s doing this and he’s supposed to be in action next!”

Oskar Theron rolls over as officials come down to the ring. Asher Hayes drops down to the floor, placing the title on the apron. He then starts to pull out a steel chair as officials then enter the ring. Hayes stops and looks in the ring, placing the chair on the apron and sliding it in. He then turns and grabs his title. Oskar Theron rolls over, wincing in pain, holding his head. Asher Hayes then turns and starts to walk around the ring and to the entrance way. A couple of officials intercept him to make sure he doesn’t head back into the ring. Asher Hayes turns as his music starts to play. He then starts to go to the back.

We cut to the luxury suite where Colleen MacDonald watches, sitting at the end, as Kimberly Williams continues her celebration in the suite. Several people are enjoying the food she’s offering. We also see several friends, allies, and family members, including now Marie Jones and Glory Braddock in the room. Alongside them, Simon Lyman is joining them as is Dylan Howell, in a mankini, holding a bottle of oil, alongside Jessica Heart and Dr. Grace Morningwood. David Striker is also in the room, grabbing some room, clearly enough for two plates, presumably getting some food for Colleen. We see a “no Syrens!” sign in the background as well. Glory walks over and sits in the front row, a seat away from Colleen. Colleen glances over.

Braddock: “Asher has surprised us all, hasn’t he?”

Colleen: “To a degree. One day maybe I can test him to make sure…”

Braddock: “He’ll be a tough win.”

Colleen pauses and looks at Braddock.

Colleen: “I think I can handle it. At least I’m still synonymous with some titles.”

Braddock stops and turns to Colleen.

Braddock: “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Colleen: “Exactly what I said. For someone who always used to look down on everyone, looks like everyone’s caught up.”

Braddock pauses and then looks out and back to Colleen.

Braddock: “If this is about what my daughter claims, she’s her own person-“

Colleen: “More just sometimes karma plays a role. I was pissed off about the car accident, but then seeing you finally trip and fall after years of claiming you’re at the top and what not. Asher’s catching up and-“

Braddock turns to her.

Braddock: “And yet, you’re just a small fish in a big pond, Colleen. Walk before your run. You want to face me when you come back…frankly, it sounds like you’re hoping to give yourself some extra motivation to give you that push. Trust me, it will be your worst mistake.”

Striker then comes over, two plates in his hands.

Striker: “Everything okay over here?”

Braddock: “I’ll free up the seat.”

Braddock gets up as Colleen grabs a plate from Striker and puts it down in front of her.

Colleen: “Nothing to worry about. Just reminding myself of how some people are.”

Striker glances at Braddock as she leaves. We then hear the sounds of “Happy Birthday!” in the background as Kim and Marie blow out a Wasley shaped birthday cake and the scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Glimmer Sisters vs. European Fiery Nation

Breakdown returns as we are back in the ring, we hear “Body and Blood” by A Perfect Murder playing as Federico Gasperoni poses in the middle of the ring, the spotlight on him. Oskar Theron is in the corner, sitting on the middle turnbuckle. Ginny Raab is talking to him, clearly upset. Oskar Theron turns away, almost ignoring her. Gasperoni flexes and kisses his bicep before stepping forward and then the lights return on. Gasperoni turns and looks at Oskar as Oskar gets up and steps over to Federico, talking strategy. Ginny just shakes her head and slowly exits the ring.

Sharper: “Welcome back to ringside and you can see Federico Gasperoni posing. He’ll be teaming with Oskar Theron, but more importantly is Ginny Raab. She is upset and Oskar Theron almost ignoring her!”

Knots: “Just some difference of opinions in tactics. These are very motivated and very driven people. It happens!”

Sharper: “But Oskar fell short of his plan and may have just put into jeopardy this match against the Glimmer Sisters!”

All the lights in the arena suddenly cut out, leaving the fans gasping and roaring in surprise. After a moment, blue lighting overtakes the arena, almost making it look like the entire place is underwater. On the stage, we can see what looks like water raining down right in front of the entryway, a silhouette of a woman visible behind it as she's flipping her hair and looks to be getting “dressed” for battle. “Tongue Twister” then hits and after a few seconds, we see Gina Glimmer (we assume) walk through the water, motioning as though she were parting a curtain, sashaying in a way that draws all eyes to her hips as she grins knowing full well what she's doing. Once she's fully visible she flaps her arms at her sides almost like she's flying, and as she does we see a second pair of arms flapping in the opposite motion appear from behind her, almost making her look like one of those multi-armed Hindu gods. After a few flaps she leans to one side as we see her twin Gia Glimmer (again, we assume) suddenly appear from behind her and lean the opposite way, perfectly mirroring one another. They join hands and look as though they're about to break into a ballroom dance, but Gina simply uses this to flip Gia over her back, and the moment she lands on her feet in time with the bass dropping the lighting immediately changes to a vibrant display of pinks and yellows. At this, the two begin to dance their way down to the ring, again a perfect mirror of one another as their sensual motions hypnotize the audience.

Phillips: “And their opponents, from Cirque du Sins, they are Gia and Gina, the Glimmer Sisters!”

The mirror routine breaks at a few points when they stop dancing to briefly interact with fans, Gina scoffing at some guy not worth her time in the front row desperately trying to get her number while Gia teases potentially flashing her side of the crowd only to stick her tongue out and tell them to “blame SCW” for the let down. Once they reach ringside they dance their way over to the hard cam side of the ring before pulling themselves onto the apron facing away from each other, where they press their butts together and slowly rise as they stick their tongues out and suggestively lick each finger, drawing excited cheers from all interested parties that clash with the boos they're otherwise getting from those that either aren't interested in them or see through the act. Once they're both fully upright, they mirror one another again as they lean back against the ropes, pushing out their chests for the fans' enjoyment before hooking their arms around the top rope and backflipping into the ring in sync. Once they're back in the ring the lighting returns to the underwater hues as they dance around the ring one more time, mirroring one another again, before meeting in the middle of the ring as a spotlight shines down on them. They sensually embrace, each lifting a leg up in a way that makes it seem like they're trying to wrap it around the other's body as they flip their hair before motioning for the camera to get a close-up of them as they grin and wink to the fans at home. The lights then completely cut out again for a brief moment before coming back on as normal, the Glimmer Sisters separating and moving to their corner as they wait for the bell with a hungry look in their eyes.

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters may be as dangerous as ever. For the first time I think in their SCW careers, back to back major events with losses in the record books.”

Knots: “Good! Finally people are catching up to them!”

Sharper: “Taking Hold of the Flame was a big risk, but then at Rise to Greatness, nearly won the US championship, but fell short-“

Knots: “Literally!”

The bell sounds as Oskar then runs at Gia, we assume, but Gia ducks under and Gina jumps up, leaning back on the top rope and wraps her legs around the head of Oskar and then takes him up and over the top rope to the floor. The crowd ohs. Federico then steps up and pulls Gia away and over to the EFN corner. He then goes for a hard right, but Gia ducks under. Federico turns around and Gia kicks him in the thigh and then in the ribs before jumping up and hitting a dropkick, knocking him down. Federico rolls over and gets up and Gia kicks him in the ribs and runs into the ropes. She bounces off and somersaults under a clothesline attempt. Federico stops and Gia backflips back into a headscissors and then snaps Federico down. Federico rolls over and gets up and Gia turns and runs at him and goes for a clothesline, but Federico ducks and Gia goes up and over the top rope, stopping onto the apron. Federico steps forward. He turns around, but then Oskar Theron jumps back up and grabs her, spinning her around before hitting a vertical suplex onto the apron. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “And Oskar Theron, this new aggression, and Gia didn’t see it coming. Just intervening and dropping her on the apron!”

Knots: “Well I’ll take that. And Oskar even giving a bit of a look at Ginny!”

Oskar pulls himself onto the apron as the crowd boos. Federico then pulls Gia back into the ring. He then whips her into the ropes. She bounces off and Federico launches her into the air with a huge back drop. He then hits an elbow drop and goes for the pin.

Sharper: “And the Glimmer using their quickness and their agility. Gia tags out. Gina in and the dropkick rocks Theron.”

Knots: “Theron just got too aggressive. He’s trying to prove himself somehow.”

Sharper: “And the Glimmers could take advantage of this.”

Oskar winces and Gina then hits a kick to his chest and then one to the side of his head. The crowd ohs. Oskar rolls over and out of the corner. Gina then watches him as he gets up and she jumps up and hits a hurricanrana before sitting on his face for the pin.

Knots: “We know they like their gang attacks and just to use their numbers. But Gasperoni and Theron have to remember, it’s two on two. And you can overpower them if you need to!”

Gasperoni exits as Theron rolls over to the ropes. The camera catches him getting up, annoyed and Gia heads over and clubs him in the back. She runs across the ring. She bounces off and then goes for a tiger feint kick, but Oskar moves out of the way. Gia spins through and spins around before Theron jumps up and takes her down with a jumping reverse bulldog. The crowd ohs. Oskar then rolls over and tags in Gasperoni. Gasperoni enters as Gia starts to get up and Gasperoni presses her over his head. The crowd looks on and boos before Gasperoni completes the military press slam. He then poses in the middle of the ring.

Sharper: “And Gasperoni showing off both his power and his physique!”

Knots: “See! The Glimmers are the only ones who like to flaunt it!”

Phillips: “Here are your winners, via pinfall, Gia and Gina, the Glimmer Sisters!”

Sharper: “And the Glimmer gets a much needed reminder of what they can do. Utilizing Oskar’s aggressiveness against him, the Glimmers defeat him and get back in the win column.”

Knots: “Oskar, you need to step back and just take a moment. You’re trying too hard!”

Sharper: “Won’t matter this week. But the EFN is going through some challenges tonight to say the least!”

“TokSik” by Starset hits as the lights in the arena immediately go out, a series of green spotlights converging onto the stage where fog has begun to consume it. The big screen shows a human eye opening, and reflecting in it is a montage of people glued to their phones and computers, either consuming or producing social media garbage as they all look sickly while doing so. “The Digital Detoxer” Dexter Grant marches out through the fog, stopping at the edge of the stage and staring out at the fans while holding the SCW United States Championship. The crowd gives a more positive reaction as he scans the crowd. He turns his head to his right just in time to see two people emerge from behind him: his faithful flunky Wendell marching out while proudly holding up a protest sign that has the circle-backslash symbol with a wi-fi symbol behind the backslash and the words “DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT” written within the circle, and Sabrina Kincaid strolling out to stand beside him and take his hand. Dexter smiles at Sabrina and then nods to Wendell in approval before the trio start heading down to the ring.

Knots: “Here comes the fraud!”

Sharper: “Don’t you start now. You already insinuated something at Rise to Greatness and quickly backpedalled and no matter what you think, that young man survived the ladder match and retained the SCW United States Championship!”

Knots: “Yeah, but Star of Tomorrow? Please. You know what…I’ve not seen any report from SCW. CHBK got the originals, right? So if it’s so damning, why not reveal it?”

Sharper: “Internal investigations take some time unfortunately. And given the implications, you want to get it right.”

Knots: “Well fine, I’ll help. That man has the knowledge. Look at him! This is all too convenient for his agenda!”

The trios reaches the ring and Dexter Grant walks up the steel steps and walks along the apron. Wendell follows and enters as Sabrina follows next. Grant walks around the ring and over to the far corner where he asks for a microphone. Phillips shows some reluctance before Grant presses him. Phillips relents and Grant looks at him again before stepping back and moving to the middle of the ring. The music fades out.

Grant: “I noticed that…”

Grant looks at Phillips as Grant looks around.

Grant: “Everyone…the cracks are starting to show. See what happens when you push back on the narratives and the simplistic stories they want you to fawn over. The clickbait, the likes, the algorithm and run against it….the lies are getting exposed and they are starting to panic.”

Grant looks around.

Grant: “I had planned so much more for tonight, but the best laid plans didn’t happen and part of it because of fluke…part of it is because of choice. The fluke…Meghan Strader….”

The crowd roars as Grant looks at the crowd.

Grant: “I have always felt uneasy about holding this title when it was practically engineered to be taken from her. The evidence in the hands of CHBK…don’t make me regret that.”

Grant pauses again.

Grant: “But as I had planned to extend the title to her at Rise to Greatness, I noticed that she faced the result of one of the worst parts of this business…an injury and all in a match designed to be nothing more than a spectacle to trend on social media. The need to have stunts and high-risk. To risk our bodies for a pop or a bunch of likes…and now after she was about to raise hell, she no longer is and is back on the injured list.”

Grant looks at the crowd.

Grant: “That was the fluke…but the choice was Frank Delatosso’s.”

The crowd boos.

Grant: “I was named the Star of Tomorrow at Rise to Greatness weekend. If you had asked me months ago if I would’ve seen that coming, I would have laughed in your face. Just as I couldn’t see the US Championship opportunity coming to me…to say a vote led me to being seen as the future of this sport…but then Rise to Greatness changed that and-“

Delatosso: “I’m going to interrupt at this point before your misinformation becomes something your new found alleged fandom laps up.”

The crowd boos as Grant turns to the stage as Delatosso appears on the big screen.

Grant: “Not even going to come to the ring.”

Delatosso: “Legitimate champions deserve my attention. You deserve my ire because Dexter, it seems that you have been quite the busy little boy.”

Grant’s eyes narrow, realizing what will follow will likely not be good.

Delatosso: “Because as I expected, the vote that claimed you to be Star of Tomorrow was anything but legitimate.”

Grant just shakes his head, looking down, almost laughing.

Delatosso: “Let’s face it. With your grating personality and your foolish anti-modern claims about engagement today…you insult our fans on a regular basis-“

Grant: “No, Frank, that’s you!”

Delatosso: “That’s not what a report I have says. It says that the vote for the Star of Tomorrow was doctored such that only someone with computer skills…such as yours…could have done it. And well, I plan to share this report with CHBK for the Board of Directors to consider, especially as they compare to whatever you may have found about the vote that made you US champion. Which I assume was fabrication as well.”

Grant: “You’re treading on thin ice here-“

Delatosso: “I think you’re the one who is. But we’ll see there, Mr. Grant. But in the meantime, it’s also troubling that we have a champion that seems to not what to be that…and given you planned to give your title to Meghan Strader, that’s a level of a lack of judgment that also supports what we are finding. But that’s fine Dexter…because well, you can rest easy that someone will take it from you soon, like at Apocalypse. Because I’m going to right another wrong of yours…and this time, there won’t be a gimmick, except that well, it will be a kind of birthday gift, a belated one as she’s celebrating tonight…to a woman who should be US Champion…Marie Jones!”

The crowd roars as Dexter just nods.

Delatosso: “And after…hopefully you’ll just go away!”

Delatosso then motions to cut his feed and he disappears from the screen. Dexter Grant then turns to speak to the crowd, but the microphone is also cut. Grant stops and looks at the microphone and then brings it down. He looks out at the crowd as a “Disconnect!” chant starts to break out. Wendell looks around, almost surprised. Grant hears this and looks around. The chant continues as Breakdown cuts away.

Shaun Cruze vs. Gavin Taylor

The opening rifts to ‘You know my name’ kicks in over the PA system, the arena all jumping to their feet in unison as a ‘Cruze’ chant starts to roll around the arena. After a few moment, the curtain parts, and Shaun Cruze steps through it, and onto the stage

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with TV time remaining and is your main event of the evening! First, on his way to the ring, hailing from Los Angeles, California, he is the Impact Player, Shaun Cruze!”

Shaun steps forwards and to the top of the ramp, looking out over his adoring fans, lifting his hands and applauding them as he also nods his gratitude. With a final smile, he starts to walk down to the ring, high fiving with the fans at ringside, and shaking hands. He stands smirking next to a fan who holds a banner saying ‘Come back Shaun’ before then running and sliding under the bottom rope. He walks to the middle of the ring, and holds out his arms, the noise level absolutely off the chart. He then walks to his corner, and turns, waiting for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Shaun Cruze coming off a big win against Alistaire Allocco. As we’ve found out, Allocco injured in that match. The Number One Draft Pick maybe not living up to the hopes that the New Order had.”

Knots: “A travesty in every way. But Gavin Taylor who will be challenging for the World Title next, getting his rematch, is going to humble him tonight!”

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, flanked by his All-Star Secret Service of Jack and Karl Barker. As he stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Phillips: “His opponent, accompanied by the All-Star Secret Service, from Independence, Missouri, he is the All-Star, Gavin Taylor!”

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

The song continues...

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. He opens his jersey, sliding it off his shoulders as he stretches his arms out.

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Turning around, he bounces back off the ropes as he looks across at Cruze.

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor saying earlier he doesn’t remember anything from Rise to Greatness. The man will gaslight us about anything.”

Knots: “Hey!”
