“Supreme Championship Wrestling...”

A shot of Kelcey Wallace nailing Bree Lancaster with the Perfect Ending, followed by a shot of Steve Griffin hitting the Decimator off the top rope on CHBK at the first Rise to Greatness, before turning a shot of Jake Starr pumping up the crowd on his way to the ring, before turning into a shot of Ravyn Taylor sitting in the corner, waiting for the start of a match. We then see a shot of Katie Steward holding the Women’s Championship before cutting to a shot of Selena Frost hitting Vixen Cain with the Defying Gravity at Supreme Saturday: Just Desserts.

MAIN SHOW:

“Psycho in my Head” by Skillet plays as we see a shot of Selena Frost standing on the stage, about to the run to the ring. We then see shots of Bree Lancaster hitting someone with the Rectifier and Simon Lyman posing with his arms out.

Maybe I'm just paranoid

Or maybe I'm just livin' a lie

Can't stop this screamin' voice

Or maybe I'm just sick inside

Shots of Asher Hayes hitting Dust to Dust on an opponent, before showing the Glimmer Sisters posing in the ring. Glory Braddock is next shown posing, before we see David Striker diving over the top rope and Josh Hudson standing on the stage, smiling. Shots of Chris Dumont, Simon Lyman and the European Fiery Nation follow, superimposed over the Breakdown logo.

This is the face

I hate the other side of me

Out of this cage

He breaks to take the life from me

Tell me, tell me, tell me

I'm not crazy

Syren is shown hitting Xander Valentine with the Total Makeover before showing the Phantom Troupe standing in the ring talking to the crowd. Glory Braddock is next shown hitting the London Plunge before we see The One Kirsten Scott proudly holding the SCW Television Championship. WASLEY is next shown as Kimberly Williams is seen smirking. The Breakdown logo flashes on the screen.

There's a psycho in my head

I'm closer to the edge

Makin' me feel like I'm livin' in misery, misery

Insane

These voices in my brain

Starting to feel like it's gonna be the death of me, death of me

Gavin Taylor hitting the Gavin Taylor Lariat on an opponent is next, before we see the Glimmer Sisters making her entrance. Konrad Raab punching Ace Marshall in a steel cage is shown next, before we see Light in the Darkness hitting Wisteria Waltz against an opponent. Lexy Chapel is then shown showing off Syren. Polly Playtime posing follows before we see James Evans powerbombing La Pequena Luz off the top rope.

There's a psycho in my, there's a psycho in my head

Shots of Deanna Frost, Ryan LeCavalier, Colleen MacDonald, Xander Valentine, and Amelia Nevado are shown before the Breakdown logo comes up on the screen.

We then cut to a live shot of the inside of the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. The crowd cheers as pyro shoots out from the base of the stage. The display continues for a few moments before spotlights circle the arena, and the cameras pan across the crowd for a few moments.

Sharper: “On the final stop before Apocalypse, Breakdown rolls into Boston!”

The cameras continue to pan throughout the crowd before settling at ringside where we see Adam Sharper joined by Jonathan Knots.

Sharper: “Welcome to ringside everyone. Adam Sharper here with Jonathan Knots and folks, a big night. Huge tag team main event later tonight.”

Knots: “The Vision are going to look to play spoiler. They could make a lot of people think differently if they can handle Amelia Nevado and La Pequena Luz.”

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters are sure to be watching. And we’ll see Waylon Creek in action in mere moments. Syren is here. Syren will be in action later against Oskar Theron. And that could be a devastating turn of events.”

Knots: “Syren had a choice. She made the wrong one!”

Waylon Creek in action

The sound and image of a babbling brook overtake the PA and screen. Shortly after, a man dressed in a suit flickers onto the screen, standing in the middle of the creek, facing away from the camera. “Mountain Banjo” by Rhiannon Giddens comes over the system, and from hehind curtain emerges a muscular figure in a skull mask, adorned by torn up flannels, being led by a black lab on a leash. The crowd roars.

Phillips: “The opening contest is scheduled for onefall and has a ten minute time limit. First, on his way to the ring, from Good Grief, Idaho, he is Waylon Creek!”

The dog leads the way as Waylon Creek follows close behind, looking around the arena. He hands the dog off to a stage hand when he gets to the ring and appears to say something to the dog. The dog sits calmly as Creek enters the ring up the steps. He calmly goes to his corner without any posing. We then cut across the ring and to the floor where we see a man in black tights and black gloves pulling himself onto the apron.

Phillips: “And his opponent, from Hartford, Connecticut, this is Tom Hanlon!”

The crowd buzzes a bit as Hanlon steps into the ring and looks at Creek.

Knots: “Welcome to the big time Hanlon. I hope you’re ready!”

Sharper: “Waylon Creek, as promised, not only back, but in the ring. Almost like Heaven is trying to prove Creek’s suspension has been ended.”

Knots: “CHBK has to love that. I hope he does. He can watch Creek get back to the top!”

The bell sounds as Hanlon steps up and nails Creek with a hard right. Creek just absorbs the shot and looks at Hanlon. Hanlon looks around and nails him again. Creek just gives not reaction. He nails him a third time. Hanlon looks at the official and then runs into the ropes. He bounces off and Creek launches him into the air, allowing him to just fall to the mat with a huge flapjack. Hanlon rolls over, holding his ribs in pain and moving to the ropes. He then moves to the corner where Creek runs at him and nails him with a hard right. He then nails him with another and another and another, hammering away on the side of his head, and causing Hanlon to slide down to a seated position in the corner.

Creek then steps away and walks around the ring. He then stops and looks back at Hanlon who tries to grab at the top rope to pull himself up, but instead, Creek runs at him and drills him with a running knee to the side of the head. The crowd ohs as Hanlon drops to his side. Creek steps back and walks around the ring.

Sharper: “Just pummeling this kid. Over and over!”

Knots: “Like he never left!”

Hanlon rolls over and out of the corner. He then crawls over to Creek as Creek looks down at him. He drags him up and then just clubs him in the back. Hanlon drops to the mat. Hanlon grimaces and starts to get up and Creek jumps up and hits a hard elbow drop to the spine of Hanlon. Hanlon yells out and rolls over. Creek gets up and Hanlon arches his back in pain. Creek then grabs him, dragging him up. He then whips him across the ring. Hanlon bounces off and Creek drills him with a spear. The crowd ohs. Hanlon rolls back, ending up upside down in the ropes. Creek grabs him and pulls him up and then bends him over. He pumphandles him before hoisting him up and dropping him back throat first on the top rope. Hanlon falls back and down to the mat. The official readies for the count, but Creek just gets back up.

Sharper: “And violently dropping him out of the pumphandle. To the top rope. And Creek is not going for the pin.”

Knots: “He’s not done yet. He’s using this for a message. A message to Syren!”

Creek grabs Hanlon by the hair and drags him up. He then hooks him up in a front face lock and hoists him up before moving him into an inverted belly to belly position and hitting the Consequences in the middle of the ring.

Knots: “Told you! Consequences!”

The crowd ohs as Creek then goes for the lateral press on Hanlon.

The bell sounds as Creek then slowly gets up. His music plays as the crowd looks on.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Waylon Creek!”

Sharper: “And Creek, almost a year to the day since we last saw him in action and as devastating as ever.”

Knots: “Well Hanlon, I hope the few hundred bucks were worth it!”

Sharper: “Waylon Creek driving him to hell with the Consequences. But I don’t think that’s all he or William Haven had planned.”

Creek then walks forward as we see William Heaven walking down to the ring. He stops at ringside and gets Creek’s attention. Creek turns and heads over to him. We then see Jessica Winters walking over to Heaven. Creek stops at the apron, looking right at her. Heaven turns and sees Winters.

Winters: “Heaven…sorry to sneak up on you, but can I get a word?”

Heaven: “Always. Even invited now on the air. My how things change.”

Winters: “You mentioned that tonight, if Syren was still here, you would go after. Said there would be consequences. She is scheduled to be in action later.”

Heaven just smiles. Winters looks at him.

Winters: “William?”

Heaven continues to smirk as he turns to Creek and motions to him. Creek follows Heaven as Winters looks at Heaven and then Creek as they walk away from her. They head up the rampway to the back as we cut away.

Deanna Frost is shown walking through the backstage area. Selena Frost is with her. Deanna goes to open a door, but winces, a bit before turning to her other arm and using it to start to open the door. Selena steps in.

Selena: “Let me handle it.”

Deanna: “I’m fine-“

Selena: “You’re not getting a chance to let that shoulder rest after the crap in Montreal.”

Deanna: “Just…just how it happened.”

Selena: “I know. I was there.”

Selena opens the door. Deanna follows and they walk inside before Selena places her bags down and then takes them from Deanna. Deanna then sits down.

Selena: “Don’t look like that.”

Deanna: “We’re heading into Apocalypse. I know I have another title defense at some point. Probably the Adrenaline Championship. You…you’re just at my side. You should be competing-“

Selena: “That can wait. Especially with all of this.”

Deanna: “Just thought…what if Frank has us fight? That would be great. Maybe he’ll put the World Title on the line. Just as a joke.”

Selena: “Red….”

Deanna: “Sorry.”

Deanna sighs. We then see Kirsten Scott standing at the door.

Kirsten: “It will be me, next, Deanna.”

Kirsten walks over to Deanna and Selena. Selena turns to Kirsten.

Kirsten: “Relax. If I was going to jump you, I would’ve done it when she was trying to open the door. Congratulations on the triple champion thing.”

Deanna nods.

Deanna: “Thanks.”

Kirsten: “Going to see how much I’ve improved too.”

Deanna: “I’ll be ready.”

Kirsten: “If you don’t get run ragged. Not as fun for me then. And don’t worry about Polly and anyone else…I’ll take care of that when the time comes.”

Kirsten turns and walks out of the room. Deanna watches her go before looking to her side as Selena starts to unpack their bags, first taking out the SCW Adrenaline Championship and placing it next to Deanna as Breakdown cuts to commercial.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Bree Lancaster on the phone.

Lancaster: “We’re going to find out if he’s going to just fall back on old issue. But if you want this to be dealt with…I’ll deal with it…Look, I gotta go!”

Lancaster hangs up and turns, walking forward as we see Asher Hayes grabbing a bottle of water from a table and turning. Bree walks up to him.

Bree: “So you did accept?”

Asher: “Not going to mind getting a win over you.”

Bree: “The question is whether you’re going to fight honourably or prove you’ve stooped down to that level. This is a World Championship quality match, Asher. But as I saw with some people I know very well, when they take those shortcuts, they don’t stop.”

Asher: “You’re getting your match. The title is on the line. And I’ve made clear what I want to get out of it.”

Bree: “If you want respect, you know what you have to do.”

Asher turns and walks off as Bree just watches him go.

Bree: “Put out a weapon and you’re going to regret it.”

The scene cuts away.

Crystal Zdunich vs. Colleen MacDonald

SCW Television Championship

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the SCW Television Championship!”

The Television Title logo flashes across the screen. The arena lights dim and the crowd buzz builds. An old vintage Hollywood countdown appears on the screen as it begins to clock down.

Suddenly, “Like Me” by Girlicious blasts through the speakers and the arena explodes with cheers. Spotlights sweep the stage as a group of paparazzi rush out first, cameras flashing wildly. A red carpet is rolled down the ramp, instantly turning the entranceway into a Hollywood premiere. A moment later, “The Rose Goddess” Crystal Zdunich steps through the curtain in her matching white and pink gear and she is glowing with confidence. At her side is her son, Brayden Williams. She takes his hand for a brief moment before looking out at the crowd with a huge smile as the crowd just roars with huge cheers.

Ohillips: “Introducing first, the challenger, being accompanied to the ring by her son Brayden Williams, originally from Detroit, Michigan but currently residing in Los Angeles, California, she is The Rose Goddess... Crystal Zdunich!”

Crystal poses at the top of the ramp, one hand on her hip, the other blowing a kiss to the crowd as the cameras flash. She turns slightly, hitting a few glamorous angles for the “paparazzi,” then starts down the red carpet with a confident, superstar strut, Brayden walking proudly beside her.

Halfway down the ramp, she stops and kneels beside a young female fan in the front row, pulling out a single rose and handing it to her with a warm smile. The crowd cheers loudly as Crystal points to her and nods, grabbing a nearby phone and taking a selfie with the fan. She gives the fan a gentle wink and stands back up, soaking in the cheers.

She continues to the ring, stopping again to pose on both sides of the ramp, playing to the fans and letting the moment breathe. At ringside Brayden takes his place on the side and Crystal then climbs the steps and slips between the ropes.

As the beat hits, Crystal moves to the center of the ring and drops into a flawless split, holding the pose as the crowd pops. She rises smoothly, flips her hair back, and strikes another confident, Hollywood-worthy pose toward the hard camera.

She steps onto the middle rope, arms spread wide, basking in the love from the crowd—the Rose Goddess in her element—before hopping down, still smiling, still posing, and ready for the fight.

Knots: “Should she be posing and doing things like that in front of her own kid? We already have enough problems protecting them whenever those damn Glimmers strut out here!”

Sharper: “You have never cared for kids before, Jon, so don't act like you've changed just because Delatosso is trying to call the shots now. Regardless, a nice opportunity for Crystal here tonight, especially since she’s been looking more and more like she’s ready to turn the corner here in SCW.”

Knots: “But she's ultimately going to fail tonight. Colleen's lucky to have friends like Polly and Mr. Delatosso looking out for her while she was recovering from that terrible accident, and I hope whoever dared to cause it is behind bars for a very long time!”

Sharper: “SCW was looking after Colleen.”

Knots: “CHBK would’ve probably stripped her of the title!”

Sharper: “He had that right and didn’t do it.”

A coin can be heard dropping into a coin slot, followed by a few girls giggling. But before “C’est La Vie” by B*Witched can even begin, Colleen steps out onto the stage from the backstage area, wearing her normal all-black ring gear and having the SCW Television Title belt around her waist. Colleen does a cutthroat signal. The music turns off as she stands still and waits until the beginning of “How Far I’ll Go” by Auli’i Cravalho begins to play. Colleen nods once before beginning to slowly head down the entrance ramp. The crowd does keep their eyes on her as she looks straight down at the ring.

Phillips: “His opponent, from Orderville, Utah, she is the SCW Television Champion... Colleen MacDonald!”

She keeps going until she arrives down at the ring. Not quickening her pace, she steps up the steel ring steps and climbs over the top rope to get into the ring. Once inside she does look around the arena. She simply approves of her surroundings before she turns to the business at hand, removing the title from around her waist and handing it to referee Jennifer Cassidy to hold up as she begins warming up before the bell rings.

Sharper: “Colleen is officially the longest reigning Television Champion in SCW history, but this is her first match in three months since that accident. You have to wonder if she's truly ready-”

Knots: “Of course she is, Sharper! I said she had good friends looking out for her and I know Polly above all else would have made absolutely sure Colleen was good and ready for tonight!”

Sharper: “It's one thing to get back into training and build yourself back up, Jon. It's another entirely to actually wrestle a proper match after such an ordeal, and anybody who's ever been put on the shelf with a serious injury will tell you it's not as easy as it might look.”

Jennifer Cassidy signals for the bell and the fans cheer as Colleen and Crystal approach one another. Colleen goes to throw a right hand, but Crystal ducks underneath it and slips behind her. Colleen turns and Crystal goes to try and snapmare her over, but Colleen plants her feet and uses her weight to keep from being taken over. She grabs Crystal in a rear waistlock and just picks her up before spinning and planting her facefirst into the mat! Crystal tries to get up, but Colleen gets back to her feet first before jumping into a senton splash across Crystal’s back!

Sharper: “Colleen wasting no time in trying to prove she’s ready to be back as she flattens Crystal with that senton!”

Knots: “See, Adam? You were worrying over nothing. Colleen’s got this, easy.”

Crystal slowly pulls herself back to her feet, clutching at her back. She turns and Colleen spears her into the corner! Colleen grabs the ropes for leverage and begins repeatedly burying her shoulder into Crystal’s ribs. Jennifer Cassidy begins to count for a break, and Colleen backs off once she reaches three. She grabs Crystal’s wrist and irish whips her across the ring, following right behind her with the intention of spearing her into the other corner, but Crystal manages to jump and use the top turnbuckle to float up and over as Colleen ends up throwing herself shoulder-first into the turnbuckle post! She slowly turns around, clutching at her shoulder, and Crystal catches her with a running dropkick in the corner!

Sharper: “Colleen perhaps getting a little too aggressive there and Crystal has her in a bad spot right now!”

Knots: “Come on, ref! Get Crystal away from her so she has a fair chance to recover! She deserves it after everything she’s been through!”

Colleen slumps into a seated position in the corner as Crystal rolls back to the center of the ring, pointing to her son Brayden who applauds before she rushes back in and hits a running basement dropkick this time! She grabs Colleen and throws her out of the corner before climbing to the top turnbuckle, waiting for Colleen to get back to her feet. As she does, albeit maybe a touch slower than one would expect, she turns and Crystal leaps off to take her down with a diving hurricanrana! She quickly rolls back and cradles Colleen in a small package-like pin!

2!

Colleen kicks out! This doesn’t deter Crystal as she measures a slow-rising Colleen before she runs past her, springboarding off the middle rope before catching her with an arm drag! Before Colleen can even think of recovering, Crystal quickly pops up and runs to springboard off the middle rope again, this time into a moonsault! She stays on Colleen for the cover, hooking the leg.

2!

Colleen gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Crystal is all over Colleen right now, and this might be the best she’s looked in a long time! If she keeps this up, we may have a new Television Champion before this night is done!”

Knots: “Don’t be ridiculous, Sharper! Colleen will pull this out, just as soon as our official stops being biased against someone who was recently injured!”

Sharper: “Jennifer Cassidy has been calling this match right down the middle Jon, as is her job!”

Crystal pulls Colleen up to her feet before she runs off the ropes, letting Colleen catch her so she can tilt-a-whirl into a DDT, but Colleen manages to throw her off! Crystal lands on her feet, but Colleen practically throws herself at Crystal with a huge clothesline! The fans are cheering as Colleen slowly gets back to her feet, prompting Jennifer Cassidy to check on her. She insists to the referee that she’s fine before she lifts Crystal back to her feet and scoops her up, but Crystal kicks her legs and manages to slide down Colleen’s back to avoid being slammed. Colleen turns and Crystal leaps up for another hurricanrana, but she’s unable to take Colleen over as the champion plants her feet and refuses to budge before she hoists Crystal back up in a display of incredible strength and powerbombs her into the mat! She keeps ahold of Crystal’s legs and stacks her up for a pin.

1!

2!

Crystal gets a shoulder up!

Sharper: “Colleen fighting her way back into this match, but you saw the concern there from our official.”

Knots: “Crooked Cassidy just trying to find any excuse to get that title away from Colleen instead of being a properly unbiased referee!”

Colleen takes a moment to get her bearings before she grabs Crystal and throws her into a seated position in the corner. She backs up, measuring her, before she rushes in for The Facewarmer, but Crystal quickly pulls herself to her feet and catches her charging in with the Flashing Lights! Colleen staggers back from the impact before slowly falling to the mat, and Crystal realizes the position before she comes out of the corner with a handspring and twisting into Smell The Roses! She hooks the leg for a cover.

1!

2!

Colleen gets her shoulder up! Crystal quickly hooks Colleen’s arm before rolling her over onto her chest, hooking the other arm before she flips through into the Picture Perfect!

Sharper: “Picture Perfect! Colleen, perhaps, not fully ready yet after being out for three months despite the doctors clearing her, and Crystal might be about to become Television Champion!”

Knots: “This would be a travesty! Where’s Polly? Crystal’s game needs to end right now before Colleen gets screwed out of her title!”

The fans are roaring and Brayden is already celebrating out on the floor as Jennifer Cassidy checks in with Colleen, but she shakes her head and refuses to submit. Crystal continues to apply pressure on Colleen’s shoulders and neck, slightly repositioning herself to get a better bridge on the hold. Colleen looks like she might be fading, but she still refuses when Jennifer Cassidy checks in with her again. She starts squirming, slowly getting her feet under her and trying to drive with them to break Crystal’s bridge and escape this submission hold. Eventually, she starts to rise, with Crystal forced to rise with her as the Picture Perfect loses its leverage. She looks like she’s about to turn and try to pivot into something else, but Colleen stuns her with an inverted back drop that flips her up and over, freeing the champion! Crystal manages to land on her feet to avoid falling on her head, but Colleen swings around and absolutely levels her with a hellacious clothesline! The fans “OOOHHH!” at Crystal almost being decapitated by the wicked clothesline, and Colleen drops any of her usual pretense as she positions Crystal before just dropping right onto Crystal’s face with The Collapser! She reaches back to hook one of Crystal’s legs, but thinks better of it and just takes the chance to rest her head in her hands for a moment as Jennifer Cassidy slides into position.

3!

She calls for the bell and "How Far I'll Go" by Auli'i Cravalho hits the speakers again. Colleen slowly stands up, shaking her head and clearing the cobwebs as Jennifer Cassidy retrieves the Television Title belt and hands it to her before raising her hand in victory.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, and STILL SCW Television Champion… Colleen MacDonald!”

Sharper: “Colleen showing a lot of fight and a lot of heart here tonight, marking a successful return with a win over a very game Crystal Zdunich. One has to be concerned, though… I know that doctors cleared her, but was it maybe too soon to get back into the ring?”

Knots: “She won in the end, Sharper, and that’s all the proof you need that she was ready. The only reason Crystal was even remotely in this contest was because of terrible officiating-”

Sharper: “Will you knock it off? Jennifer Cassidy did her job properly, and it’s not wrong to show concern for someone who just came back from a serious injury!”

Knots: “I am showing concern! Concern for how Colleen could’ve ended this so much quicker if we had a better referee in there!”

Jennifer Cassidy checks with Colleen again now that the match is over, and Colleen reiterates that she’s alright but does take a moment to thank the official for showing concern for her. Crystal slowly rolls towards the apron, where her son dejectedly collects her and starts helping her to the back as Colleen takes a moment to properly celebrate now that she’s got her bearings again, raising the Television Title belt high to the delight of the fans before she pats the center plate and warns everyone watching that the title is going nowhere.

The scene cuts backstage to show Glory Braddock watching the match on the monitor. Colleen remains gesturing in the ring. We then see Jessica Winters walking up to her.

Winters: “Colleen and you have had some back and forth.”

Glory: “Just the drive of competition. I know she thinks she deserves better. Maybe she needs to believe in herself more.”

Winters: “Why didn’t you tell her that?”

Glory: “Because I believe that comes through competition. She says that title’s not going anywhere. Let’s find out.”

Winters: “Isn’t this a bit of a different focus for you?”

Glory smiles and turns to Winters.

Glory: “Just another way to get there.”

Glory walks away as the scene fades out.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Bree Lancaster walking backstage. She has a self-satisfied smile on her face. She takes a few steps before stopping and looking at Kimberly Williams with disdain. Kimberly is talking to Angelica Jones.

Jones: “Look, I talked to him earlier. He’s giving you the match tonight because he believes in the Underground. He’s just said to be patient.”

Kim: “Patient? I’m the person who named a racoon Chris Lawler just to practice training! I don’t do patient-“

Bree: “Better learn quick. After Apocalypse, there won’t be any Underground and you can go back to whatever other promotion you have and pretend you’re special.”

Angelica: “Bree, this isn’t-“

Bree: “Josh already told me that you’re not worth the time-“

Kim: “Excuse me?! You know what Bree. I hope Asher Hayes flays you like a fish. Not just because it would be fun to watch but everyone will realize there’s nothing to you!”

Bree: “Make all the threats, Kim. I know in a couple of weeks, things will go the way the should.”

Bree then turns and walks off. Kim turns to Angelica.

Kim: “Can I maim her? Please? Pretty please!”

Angelica: “Focus on Chris, Kim.”

Kim: “Oh I will!”

The scene cuts away.

We move to another part of the backstage area where we see Destiny Page in the interview area.

Destiny: “Ladies and Gentlemen, at this time I would like to welcome my guest… Chris Dumont.”

The camera then pans left and we see the unbowed form of the man himself, the “Ronin” Chris Dumont, standing there in his standard street gear and an unamused look on his face.

Destiny: “Chris, we haven't seen you since your loss at Rise to Greatness against Gavin Taylor following the unjustified interference by one of Polly Playtime's personal guards. You’ve clearly shown you’re going after Polly, but what’s on your mind?”

Chris: “Well Destiny, I feel the need to explain first. You see everyone and their grandchilder knows that I don't care for anything that comes out of the mouth of Jonathan Knots, but he did say one thing in particular a few months ago in a moment of mental clarity in that he said for someone like me, there was better things that I could be doing and as much as I hate to admit it, Knots was right.”

He pauses and takes a deep breath.

Chris: “You see, I went into Rise to Greatness with the belief that I was finally going to end this farce of an issue between Gavin and myself, I was going to destroy him at Rise to Greatness and then move on because time and time again, no matter what that deranged little bastard says, I am the superior wrestler and everyone out there knows it… yes, even Knots knows it because where it comes to straight up technical wrestling, when my mind isn't being directed by something much more primal and violent like revenge or ego, I am a very solid technical wrestler, and I had Gavin beaten in that ring.”

Chris then turns to the camera.

Chris: “But then Polly Pockets decides that she believes that she knows better than everyone, I mean nobody from the front office down to the boys here in the back to even the broadcast team at ringside cannot deny the fact that since Polly’s marriage collapsed, Polly Pockets finally allowed her precious wounded damned ego to take over and she's been going around the entire promotion, bitching and moaning that *SHE* knows better than everyone else and that she constantly proves it. Tell me that I'm wrong, Destiny.”

Destiny: “You make some sense.”

Chris: “Exactly, and this is a person that you have by your side willingly, Gavin. A woman who constantly claims that she's been thrice scorned… by this company, by her husband, and by the very people that loved her dearer than life itself, and now she goes around trying to dictate everything. I mean she has already proven how vindictive she was when she let Gavin try to kill David Striker during that scaffold match when she could've saved him from falling all the way down, clipping his head on tables and the turnbuckles, which in the end has caused him nothing but pain that he has to deal with each and every single day.”

Chris shakes his head.

Chris: “This is the kind of person that you have at your side, Gavin. Somebody who decided to try and force this war between us to continue by screwing up our match at Rise by sending in one of her moronic goons.”

Destiny: “So in short, what you're saying is that your very much still enraged over what happened?”

Chris looks at Destiny for a moment before shaking his head slowly.

Chris: “No, I'm actually incredibly disappointed in Polly Pocket. And right now I know that a lot of people, from Gavin to Knots on down, are wondering when I'm going to go off my rocker and start attacking people…But here is the funny thing, Meggan, I'm not going to.”

Chris pauses briefly.

Chris: “I'm tired of all of this bullshit and so, what I'm going to do is present my case to the front office here in SCW… calmly and honestly. Because too much bullshit has been allowed to run rampant around here for long enough and it's about time that I do right by my girl, Aisling, and do things the right way. So Gavin, Polly, and everyone else… you will have to forgive me if I don't play these childish games with you anymore because I've allowed myself to be dragged into all of this bullshit too many times, I've been forced into distraction when I should be out there winning titles and making a name for myself. So, I'm going to go and see the bosses. I'm going to present my argument and my evidence. And take things from there.”

Chris then turns to the camera.

Chris: “And Polly? If you or your two little shit carriers see me coming, do yourselves a favor and back the hell up. Because until you decide to pull your large head out of that little tictac container that you call an *ass* and apologize for that stunt, you simply don't exist in my world anymore.”

He turns back to Destiny Page.

Chris: “That is where I've been, Destiny. Deciding what my future is going to look like and I can tell you this much, it is very up in the air.”

Chris then nods at Destiny before he turns and walks away as the screen cuts back to ringside and the broadcast team.

Knots: “She apologized to you. She had nothing to do with it.”

Sharper: “Give me a break. The award, her bodyguards, put two and two and then add what’s she’s aid about Aisling. About Chris.”

Knots: “Conspiracy theories, the lot of it!”

Sharper: “You wonder what will come of Chris presenting his case. The issue is that it could be very interesting. Polly Playtime has had her issues with CHBK.”

Knots: “All the more reason Frank Delatosso should be running things. He’s not emotional like CHBK!”

Sharper: “We will see what will happen there, but folks, we can tell you that more has been announced for Apocalypse. In particular, we can confirm a stipulation has been added for Marie Jones and Dexter Grant. Meeting for the US Championship, but now it will be in a solid steel cage!”

Knots: “Dexter Grant won’t be able to run this time!”

Sharper: “He didn’t quite run. At least not to avoid Marie. Delatosso and Dean Black tried to invade his private transportation, but Marie Jones has wanted to make sure that Dexter Grant and her have finality. Someone is going to win, and there won’t be excuses.”

Knots: “Hear that Dexter!”

Just then, we cut backstage as we hear an uproar. We then see Lucas Knight walking over to the catering area backstage. The camera whips around to show Wendell, Dexter Grant’s second, looking around, eyes darting as security surrounds him. Dean Black is there as well.

Lucas: “What in the world is going on?”

Wendell: “Why am I being targeted? I’ve done nothing. I’ll even pay for the water!”

Lucas: “You’re employed by SCW. You don’t need to worry about that. Dean…you’re not in charge-“

Black: “We’ll I’m just going by the orders that I’m getting. Came right from Delatosso himself. Wendell needs to be removed from the property. They believe he was the one who actually tampered with the vote.”

Lucas: “Dean…you don’t believe that crap?”

Black: “I’m just doing my job.”

Lucas: “And flushing your integrity down the toilet.”

Black: “Just get him off the property.”

Wendell: “Can I go to the camper-“

Black: “Off the property. And if Dexter leaves, you know the backstage rules.”

Lucas: “I’ll figure this out.”

Wendell: “I didn’t do anything though. We know it’s a lie and-“

The security guards come over and quickly one grabs Wendell’s arm and pulls it behind his back. Destiny Page then comes into view.

Page: “Wendell? What the hell is happening?”

Lucas: “Destiny…I’m handling it.”

Wendell: “Delatosso is losing his mind.”

Black: “Just be quiet, for your own sake.”

Wendell: “No! I’m not! I’m being falsely removed! I have a right to be here!”

Wendell keeps yelling as security starts to pull him out of catering. The scene cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as we see Lucas Knight and CHBK talking.

CHBK: “First Waylon. Now this. Going to just pull at strands. Try to overwhelm.”

Lucas: “You know as well as I do that Wendell had nothing to do with it.”

CHBK: “I know that Dexter didn’t doctor a damn thing. Why do you think I’m watching this so-called investigation so intently. I want to know what the game is. There’s a reason nothing’s moved yet.”

Lucas: “What about Dean?”

CHBK: “He’s his gopher boy. If that’s what makes him happy…”

We then see Dexter Grant storm into the scene.

Grant: “Is this the game that’s going to be played? I trusted you, Alex. I gave you the information. And I want to know what’s being done about it!”

CHBK: “The right people have it. The counter investigation that Delatosso is playing is delaying things. He still has allies.”

Grant: “And he’s going after Wendell? The man is loyal to me but he’s not done anything outside of help me with research and now this. I was going to go on some statement about the steel cage match, but you know what…he wants me caged, so I have to be there. Marie Jones wants me to prove I won’t run. I have no intention to run. I will earn the US Title at Apocalypse, but if Marie can make a request, then I think it’s fair I make one.”

CHBK: “What’s that?”

Grant: “I want Frank Delatosso at ringside to see what he’s unleashed.”

Lucas: “Doesn’t that kind of go against your game. You’re giving SCW a hell of a promotional tactic.”

Grant: “The match already is a circus. I’m going to control the shape of it…and in the process, people will just be talking about the competition they witnessed on display. And Delatosso will have no choice but to recognize I am not going anywhere!”

CHBK nods.

CHBK: “I’ll happily extend the invitation.”

Grant: “Thank you. Now if you excuse me, I hope you’ll understand why I’m going to be leaving early to help a friend in need.”

Lucas: “I’ll even show you the fastest way to get where you need to go.”

Grant nods and walks off, Lucas following as the scene cuts away.

Bekah Cruze vs. Federico Gasperoni

“Look what you made me do” by Taylor Swift plays as the crowd roars. A few moments pass before Bekah Cruze runs out from the back and looks around the arena. She first looks to her left and then to her right before nodding.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall and has a twenty minute time limit. First, on her way to the ring, from New York City, New York, she is Bekah Cruze!”

Bekah places to the crowd as she then starts to head down to the ring. He runs down and slides in. She then gets up and looks around before then going to the corner, climbing up to the middle turnbuckle and looking out at the crowd. She hops down as her music fades out.

Sharper: “Bekah Cruze, we saw her at Taking Hold of the Flame, and now having her first singles match in SCW.”

Knots: “Time to see if she’s just a nepobaby or she can hold her own. Gasperoni isn’t going to take it easy.”

Sharper: “She’s already stood up to the EFN a few times. So we know she has that Cruze integrity and confidence.”

“Body and Blood” by A Perfect Murder plays over the sound system as Federico walks through the curtain, holding up his San Marino flag, wearing San Marino flag light blue flame trucks with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his trunks, wearing light blue elbow pads and light blue knee pads and black wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, kissing his biceps and saying he's got a perfectionist body.

Phillips: “Her opponent, representing the European Fiery Nation, from Dogana, San Marino, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Federico Gasperoni!”

He goes on his knees and flexes his body more and kissing each bicep before he gets off his knees and walks straight to the ring and steps through the ropes as he lets Ginny in the ring and kisses his body biceps each time and showing off his six pack and everything about his body, taking his body extremely seriously, saying he has the best body in professional wrestling before he lets Ginny out of the ring and he waits for the start of the match.

Sharper: “Gasperoni has had some notable success, including at Rise to Greatness weekend. He’s hoping to continue it here.”

Knots: “He’ll be ready. I mean look at him. He’s already ready. Bekah Cruze has probably never even seen someone like this before! Especially up close!”

The bell sounds. Gasperoni smirks, flexing his pecs, as he then steps up. Bekah looks at him and then steps up and then goes for a grapple. They two push back on one another before Gasperoni shoves her back. Bekah rolls through and Gasperoni flexes, getting boos from the crowd. Gasperoni rolls through and gets up and Bekah hits a dropkick. Gasperoni hits the mat and rolls over. Bekah then mockingly flexes getting some cheers from the crowd.

Sharper: “And Bekah Cruze takes down Gasperoni! And then a little flex to rub it in.”

Knots: “Cocky, isn’t she?!”

Gasperoni gets up and runs at her, but she hits a drop toe hold. She then drops down and kneels on his back and smacks him around in the back of the head. Sharper: “Bekah’s inexperience playing a role there. Maybe waited a bit too longer. And Gasperoni drives her down into his knee. Hurting that back.”

Bekah rolls over, arching her back as Federico looks at her and smirks before grabbing her by the hair. He drags her up and clubs her hard in the back. He swings again, clubbing her again. Knots: “Lucky break!”

Sharper: “Looked pretty solid to me…but look! The EFN! Again! Coming to jump a Cruze!”

We cut to the entrance way as Ludvig Eriksson and Kemal Yilmaz run down from the back. They slide into the ring. Bekah turns and nails Kemal with a shot, but Ludvig nails her with a clothesline. She hits the mat and Kemal and Eriksson turn and start to stomp away on her. The crowd boos as Bekah covers up. A “Cruze!” chant breaks out as Yilmaz and Eriksson continue to put the boots to her. Gasperoni starts to stir before we see Shaun and Owen Cruze running out from the back.

Sharper: “And here comes the Cruzes!”

Owen and Shaun run down and slide in. Owen gets up as Eriksson grabs at him as Kemal clubs Shaun over and over before Shaun hits a double leg takedown. He nails Kemal a few times in the head before Owen ducks a clothesline shot from Eriksson and hits a superkick. He turns and sees Gasperoni who runs at him. Owen ducks and then runs at him and clotheslines him up and over. Shaun gets a few more shots in on Kemal before Kemal manages to move to the ropes and pulls himself under the ropes to the floor. Ludvig rolls out of the ring as Shaun then gets up. He walks around and then demands a microphone as Owen checks on Bekah. Shaun is handed a microphone. He turns back.

Shaun: “EFN! I’m getting sick of this. And I know you’re doing it because you’re hoping to get back into Frank’s good graces.”

Kemal turns to the ring as Eriksson and Gasperoni head over to him. Ginny Raab walks over to them too.

Shaun: “So how about we do this the right way? No more BS. Apocalypse…you bring who you want to join you in the EFN. We’ll be there to fight!”

The crowd roars. Shaun throws the microphone in the air behind him as Bekah gets up and steps forward. Owen paces in the background. Kemal nods and smiles as he backs away.

Knots: “He’s not going to run Shaun! Be careful what you wish for!”

Sharper: “The same could be said of the EFN! Shaun Cruze throwing down the gauntlet!”

“You Know My Name” by Chris Cornell plays throughout the arena as the Cruzes continue to stand tall in the ring and the scene cuts away.

Sharper: “Let’s now go backstage where Destiny Pages is with the Glimmer Sisters. Destiny?”

Backstage, the scene opens up with Destiny Page as we see Gia and Gina Glimmer moving into the scene. Page looks at both while trying to focus on the camera.

Page: “Thank you Adam.”

Gia (we assume): “Oh Destiny…how are you holding up?”

Gina (we assume): “You know you can do better than him.”

Page: “I’m not here to talk about that.”

Gia and Gina just back up slightly.

Page: “I’m here to interview the two of you and we are just over a week away from your big rematch at Under Attack.”

Gia (we assume): “It is…but a bit less interesting.”

Gina (we assume): “We had a true spectacle last time. This time we’ll just have to well…go after their confidence where it matters.”

Gia: “They had all the reason to be confident in what we put them out there last time. Just like you Destiny…just like her friend…”

Page: “Well, they are professional wrestlers and-“

Gina: “We’re not?! Destiny…I’m shocked at you. So judgmental. Then again, I’m not surprised when you’re hanging around Dexter Grant. And people are cheering him. Probably when they realized they couldn’t handle someone like us.”

Gia: “No, Destiny, it’s okay. We know what you meant. They’re all in their head. They’re the best team in SCW today. Right?”

Gina: “They did say that after they beat us…well, Amelia did. It was fun seeing the real Amelia for a bit, wasn’t it?”

Gia: “And Luz having to deal with it. I mean she was hot.”

Gina: “Maybe we need to bring that back out. Maybe things can go differently.”

Gina smirks as Gia just leans back a bit, closing her eyes, almost pretending to give an orgasmic moan.

Page: “Are you planning to wrestle them or-“

Gia: “That would be up to them. But…we are coming to wrestle. And as you said, they’re professional wrestlers. This time, we’ll just beat them at their own game. And the claim that they’re the best team in SCW….we’ll see about that. And we’ll double down by then taking our titles back from Deanna Frost and are very good friend Selena.”

Gina: “Frigid bitch…”

Gina and Gia then turn and walk off as Page watches them leave. Breakdown cuts away.

COMMERCIALS

Breakdown returns as the Apocalypse logo comes up on the screen. We then see a still for The Cruzes vs. The European Fiery Nation follow.

Sharper: “Welcome back to Breakdown and yes, it is official. CHBK working quickly. The Cruzes will face the EFN, but there is one interesting wrinkle. We’re not sure if Owen Cruze is competing or just going to be at ringside.”

Knots: “Why? Too scared?!”

Sharper: “I don’t know about that. He vowed to not return after his retirement. So clearly, CHBK wanting to respect that. It may be up to him. Either way, we should see a hell of a fight between these two teams.”

The Apocalypse logo comes up on the screen.

We cut backstage to see Oskar Theron, with Dakon Theron, walking towards the ring as Kemal Yilmaz, Federico Gasperoni and Ludvig Eriksson walk towards him. Ginny Raab also walks to him.

Ginny: “Ready to go-“

Kemal: “That’s how you make an impact.”

Oskar: “Won’t matter when I beat Syren.”

Oskar then walks past Kemal as Ginny follows Oskar. Kemal looks at Dakon. Dakon just shrugs as Yilmaz, Dakon, Eriksson, and Gasperoni head to the EFN locker room.

Syren vs. Oskar Theron

The lights in the arena plunge into darkness. A pulsing sound akin to a heartbeat plays out across the PA system as the fans cheer. We cut to the backstage area we see Syren, in her full ring gear, complete with black ring jacket and pink halter-top/black tights, making her way down a corridor, accompanied by Lexy Chapel dressed in a long skirt and t-shirt that reads ‘REJOICE, LEXY NATION’. She begins walking into the arena as we cut back to inside to see the fans reacting.

LEXY CHAPEL PRESENTS

“Groupie” by Cassie Steele then hits as we see one of the doors opening and Syren and Lexy walking through. She pauses to take in the atmosphere before walking down toward the ring.

Sinfully Seductive
Captivatingly Corrupt
DARK FANTASY

Syren and Lexy both walk down the walkway to the crowd barricade, occasionally slapping the hands of fans, before walking around and through the timekeeper’s area. Syren jumps up onto the apron before climbing the turnbuckles on the outside and waving her hands to get the fans fired up. As the camera gets closer to her, she shouts at the camera before pointing out at the fans. The camera switches to Lexy who yells about her client and the ‘Lexy Nation’ appreciating them.

Phillips: “The following contest is schedule for onefall with a twenty minute time limit. Introducing first, being accompanied by Lexy Chapel and representing LexyCorp International, hailing from Los Angeles, California, this is SYREN!”

Syren smiles before leaping over the top rope, dropping to her knees in the ring, posing with both her arms outstretched, palms facing up. Lexy rolls into the ring and stands over her, pointing down at her client. She offers both her hands to Syren, pulling her up. Syren takes off her ring jacket and hands that to Lexy before taking back the title. She climbs up on the middle rope, posing for a moment and then jumping back down and standing in her corner with Lexy, as her music fades out.

Sharper: “We saw Waylon Creek in action earlier and William Heaven just gave a creepy smile when asked about his vow last week.”

Knots: “Syren had a choice. She’s making the wrong one. Just go home. Relax. Let SCW move on without you!”

Sharper: “You know as well as I do, Syren won’t run.”

Knots: “Then her funeral!”

“Ride The Lightning” by Metallica plays over the sound system as Oskar walks through the curtain, holding up his Norwegian flag, wearing Norway flame lightning bolt flag trousers with The European Fiery Nation logo attached to his trousers, wearing MMA gloves and wrestling boots with Ginny Raab behind him. He gets many boos as he walks to the ring, ignoring the fans. He stands on the ramp, using the lightning bolt signals.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Oslo, Norway, accompanied by Ginny Raab, he is Oskar Theron!”

He walks to the ring before sliding under the ropes before holding them open for Ginny to get in, and he goes on the turnbuckle to do his lightning bolt sign, with Ginny applauding Oskar before he puts himself in a corner. He holds the ropes open again for Ginny to leave the ring before turning to the opposite end of the corner of looking at his opponent, waiting for the match to begin.

Sharper: “Let’s see how Oskar does tonight. He’s been much more aggressive. Even trying to lead instead of follow and there’s some tension in the EFN.”

Knots: “He’s just trying to impress. He’s young. And in Europe, you don’t get these global opportunities in wrestling. He wants to take advantage!”

The bell sounds as Oskar runs at Syren and lunges, going for a flying knee. Syren moves out of the way and Oskar stops at the corner. He turns around and Syren nails him with a hard right and then another and another and another, hammering away on him in the corner. The crowd roars as the official calls for the break.

Knots: “Oskar! Find that aggression. Come on! Be hard-headed here!”

Oskar rolls over as Syren then grabs him and runs him over into the far corner. She then kicks him in the ribs over and over as we cut to see William Heaven walking through the hallway. The video plays on the big screen. Syren then nails Oskar with a hard right. We then see William Heaven walking into a room and the camera follows as we see Ravyn Taylor seated on the couch in the room, bottle of water in her hand. She slowly gets up.

Syren then nails Oskar a few times before pulling away. She rolls out of the ring. She then runs around it and up the rampway. We then cut to the room backstage.

Ravyn: “This is an unwise play.”

Heaven: “I don’t think so at all. Because the fact is, Ravyn, I’m here to make one last ditch pitch. Syren doesn’t need to be a casualty in this war. She can just turn around and go home with you…and take care of your eventual child.”

Ravyn looks at Heaven.

Heaven: “I assume that’s why you’ve been oddly less active as of late. But the question is who the father could be? Unless you’ve, with your brilliance, determined some new way. Regardless, tell Syren, she can find a rewarding life as a new mother…just as I hope she did with her other kids. But-“

We cut to see Syren running through the hallway. Lexy Chapel can be heard yelling.

Chapel: “Syren! Wait!”

Syren however continues to run through the backstage area and turns down one corridor before then turning down around and running into the room. Heaven turns.

Heaven: “Syren…look, no need to be rash!”

Syren runs over to Heaven and grabs him by the collar and pushes him back.

Syren: “Just because she may be pregnant, doesn’t mean we aren’t dangerous. You need to-“

Ravyn: “Zoe!”

Syren lets go and turns as Waylon Creek steps up and nails Syren with a hard open-handed shot. Syren falls to the floor, clearly dazed. Creek then looks at Heaven. Heaven nods as Creek turns to Ravyn. Ravyn looks at him defiant. Chapel then runs to the door of the room and stops, stunned in fear. Creek advances on Ravyn. Ravyn steps back to the wall.

Ravyn: “You’re making a mistake.”

Creek then places his hand on Ravyn’s stomach.

Creek: “Oh…we aren’t. But Syren’s going to be a casualty for him. And you….and your unborn child will have to watch.”

Creek then pulls back as Heaven walks past Syren as Syren holds her jaw. Creek then turns and follows Heaven. Ravyn watches him leave as Lexy backs out of the way. Creek lunges to her, causing her to jump back. Creek smirks as he then continues to follow Heaven down the hallway as the scene fades out.

Breakdown returns as we see Syren sitting in her locker room, an ice pack against her jaw as the trainer checks on her. Ravyn Taylor sits in the corner, looking forward, clearly plotting. Lexy Chapel just looks at her and then to Syren. We then see the trainer get up.

Trainer: “Ravyn, do you-“

Ravyn: “I’m fine.”

We then see CHBK storm into the room. He then looks at the trainer and then Syren, Lexy, and Ravyn.

CHBK: “They fine?”

Trainer: “A bit sore for Syren. Ravyn won’t let me-“

CHBK: “You-“

Ravyn: “You are not going to convince me of anything here when I have already read everything meaningful and would know better than him if I am alright or not. Physically, I am fine.”

CHBK: “Kurt…you can go.”

The trainer gets up and leaves as CHBK looks at Ravyn as the two lock eyes before CHBK turns to Syren.

CHBK: “Syren-“

Syren: “Make sure there’s an ambulance at Apocalypse. And no, it won’t be for me. I don’t care if he’s bigger, stronger, meaner…And I don’t care if Delatosso is going to use this against me…”

CHBK: “I fear he’s already doing that.”

Ravyn: “And you’re not the focus, Syren.”

Syren looks at Ravyn and then CHBK.

Ravyn: “Creek revealed the game.”

Syren: “So they’re using me to get to you. Ravyn to you. Then all the more reason. Make sure the ambulance is there. I’m not someone’s message!”

CHBK: “I’ll make sure we have one there.”

Syren: “Good.”

Syren presses the ice pack against her face as CHBK looks at Ravyn.

Ravyn: “You better be up for this.”

CHBK nods and walks out of the room.

We then see The Vision standing with Jessica Winters outside of their locker room. Clyde Sutter stands behind Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan.

Winters: “We certainly hope that Syren and Ravyn Taylor are okay after that shocking display. Meanwhile, I’m standing with the Vision. Tonight, you take on the Light in the Darkness in tag team action. We’ve heard from the Glimmers-“

Braddock: “Yeah, I heard from them blowing hot air too. Always had more confidence than sense and they’ve started to teeter. The thing is that while the Glimmers and the Light in the Darkness can have their little fight over who is next, let’s just keep the spotlight on fate’s favoured team. That’s right, the Vision. And we are waiting in the wings. And what is tonight? A reminder of what we can do.”

Sutter: “Fate is smiling upon you both-“

Logan: “It may be, but let’s face it…we won’t need it tonight. Amelia and Luz can look ahead. Luz was so focused on the World Title. She beat your mother, Melinda. Too bad she’s facing us, not her. We won’t look past her, because tonight, we just will take this moment to stake our claim. We’ve won gold everywhere we’ve been. We’ve proven to be the future of tag team wrestling by our skill alone. And tonight, we send that message.”

Braddock nods.

Braddock: “We take down the Light in the Darkness. We wait our turn. And we will take those World Tag Team Titles. My mother used to talk about how she bet on herself. We’re betting on ourselves and fate has made sure we’ve never been wrong!”

Sutter opens the door to their locker room as Braddock and Logan enter after.

Winters: “The Vision face the Light in the Darkness later tonight. Adam?”

Orison vs. Chase Upshaw

“United States, Canada, Mexico, Panama,
Haiti, Jamaica, Peru,
Republic Dominican, Cuba, Caribbean,
Greenland, El Salvador, too.”

Nations of the World by Rob Paulson plays. Chase Upshaw makes his way onto the stage shouting and cursing as loud as he can, this time a microphone in his hand.

Chase: “CUT IT! CUT IT! CUT THE MUSIC!”

The stops as Chase continues making his way to the ring.

Chase: “I know why you’re all here! Just as you know why the F____ I’m here!”

Reaching the ring steps, Chase stomps up to the apron and climbs inside the ropes.

Chase: “I want to know. We all want to know….DOES ORISON KNOW WHERE….”

The opening sounds of Bathroom Dance by Hildur Guanadottir begin to filter through the arena, stopping Chase, as he lowers the mic, his eyes staring at the entrance ramp. Stepping out from the back stands Orison. He appears focused only on the ring. Walking out behind him is his manager, Tyr who is wearing a black coat with a hood.. They stand atop the ramp, but the instrumental shifts into the opening of Forlorn by AMENRA. Once that kicks in, Orison and Tyr make their way down to the square circle. Tyr removes his hood and holds a smirk on his face.

Sharper: “Orison, making his way to the ring by the man only known to us as Tyr. He made his debut a few weeks ago, and left a path of destruction in his way. His opponent that night hasn’t made much progress in terms of healing. God knows what awaits Chase Upshaw.”

Upon reaching the ring, Orison slowly makes his way up the ring steps and climbs the turnbuckle. He doesn’t look at the crowd, only the center of the ring. Orison then turns to look down at Tyr, who gives him a thumbs up before shifting it to a thumbs down. Orison drops to the mat, his focus returning to his opponent, waiting for the match to begin, as Tyr asks for a microphone.

Tyr: “Ah, Mr. Upshaw…”

Tyr cackles before looking out at the crowd, extending his free hand towards the people.

Tyr: “Let me ask you something. ARE YOU NOT…ENTERTAINED?!?!?!”

The crowd boos, while some cheer. Chase looks at the audience and hypes them up.

Chase: “WE NEED TO KNOW!!! DON’T WE?!?!?”

Tyr waits for the crowd to die down. Once they do, he steps closer to Chase.

Tyr: “NO!”

Tyr presses a finger to Chase’s chest.

Tyr: “What you, and these people, need to know is the answer to one simple question. And lucky for you, Mr. Upshaw, its geography question. Sort of.”

Chase: “I know everything there is to know about…”

Tyr cuts him up.

Tyr: “I will ask this question of you, Mr. Upshaw. And depending on how you answer, you could escape receiving a…mark of ruin…if you will. If you continue this charade, getting paid by this business that ruined the man behind the mask, then there will be…no escape.”

The crowd boos and Tyr smirks once again.

Tyr: “Now, my question for you is this: Standing here now, do you wish…you could’ve been anywhere else in the world than here?”

Chase looks at the crowd, who seem to be cheering him on a bit.

Sharper: “Chase Upshaw getting some cheers. That’s a surprise, but I think he needs to be serious right now. His health is at risk. More than any of us may realize.”

Knots: “Well if he lets those cheers get to him, these people will get him in trouble. If that’s the route he chooses, then he deserves it.”

Tyr: “What do you say, Mr. Upshaw?”

Chase returns his attention to Orison and Tyr.

Chase: “I say…DOES…ORISON…KNOW WHERE…”

Tyr knocks the mic out of Chase’s hands, grinning as he turns to Orison.

Tyr: “We have our answer, don’t we?”

Tyr then lifts his hands up in front of his throat and makes a ‘pull apart’ motion and steps to the side. As he does, Orison explodes, hitting Chase with a spear.

Tyr steps out of the ring as the ref calls for the bell. Chase is rolling around, holding his midsection.

Knots: “This may not be considered geography, but I feel like Chase got speared into next week.”

Sharper: “The bell has rung and he’s in a bad way.”

Orison slowly stalks Chase as he is shown grabbing the ropes to pull himself up. Chase turns and Orison charges and connects with a running knee to the side of the skull. Chase falls through the ropes and out onto the floor. Orison drops and rolls out under the bottom rope.

Orison grabs Chase and whips him into the steel steps. Chase crumples to the floor, only for Orison to grab him again, hooking him, and lifting Chase up for a powerbomb before driving him back first into the apron.

Crowd: “OOOHHHH!!!”

Orison then grabs Chase by the hair with his left hand before landing several right haymakers. Chase drops to the floor once more as Orison drives a boot into the middle of Chase’s spine.

Sharper: “This needs to be stopped.”

Knots: “Chase knew what he signed up for.”

Orison stomps Chase in the back once more, before reaching down and lifting him up. Orison rolls Chase back into the ring, and climbs onto the apron, watching Chase. Chase is shown struggling to get to his hands and knees, while Orison climbs into the squared circle.

Stepping in front of Chase, Orison looks down at him. Chase is shown pulling at Orison’s pant legs, before Orison grabs Chase’s shirt with one hand and delivers several forearms to the back, followed by elbows to the back of the head. Orison hooks Chase before lifting him up into a military press. Orison is shown looking in Tyr’s direction, who nods. Orison drives Chase into the mat with a running power slam.

Sharper: “Orison connecting with what has been called South of Heaven. What sucks is that the punishment Chase is enduring is perfectly legal.”

Knots: “I’ll back you up if you want to try and stop it, Adam. You…uh…can count on me.”

Sharper: “I’m sure.”

Orison kneels beside Chase before turning and looking back at Tyr. Tyr is shown bringing his hands in front of his throat, and makes another gesture with his hands, like he’s pushing something together.

Orison pulls Chase up, using Chase’s shirt collar. Orison then hits three straight headbutts. Chase’s legs droop before Orison hooks him, lifting Chase up over his shoulder, before Orison drives him back down to the mat.

Sharper: “Orison connecting with the Invocation. I hope this is it. Nothing more needs to be done.”

Orison hooks the leg.

The ref calls for the bell before checking on Chase, immediately. Orison stands up, towering over the ref and Chase before looking at Tyr. Tyr shakes his head.

Knots: “Was he thinking about attacking our ref?”

Sharper: “I don’t know, but it seems Tyr has reined Orison back in, so to speak.”

Phillips: “Here is your winner, by pin fall…ORISON!!!”

Orison joins Tyr on the outside, with “Forlorn” playing through the arena as medics race past them, getting into the ring. Some of the crowd is booing, but the reaction is mostly quiet shock. Tyr pats Orison on the back before they make their way up the entrance ramp.

Sharper: “This crowd, like myself, is stunned at what we just witnessed. I don’t know who the man is behind the mask, but whoever Orison is, he’s made a statement. I just don’t know if its enough to satisfy him.”

Orison and Tyr are shown looking at the ring just in front of the curtain, where medics are still checking on Chase. Orison and Tyr are shown once again, with Tyr smirking before we cut away.

We open backstage to see Seraphina Blaze talking to a crew member backstage. We then see Gia and Gina Glimmer walking into the hallway in the distance. They turn and see her before starting to walk towards her, but then we see Simon Lyman walking over to Seraphina.

Lyman: “Seraphina, right?”

Seraphina looks up, a bit surprised.

Seraphina: “Oh yeah…I am…and-“

Lyman: “Sorry to interrupt but I see some trouble heading your way.”

Seraphina turns as we see Gia and Gina stopping and just giggling.

Gina (we assume): “If you want us to yourself, you could just ask.”

Lyman: “Happily married. Just looking out for a new signee.”

Gia, we assume, scoffs.

Gina: “Sure you are.”

Gia and Gina walk off as Lyman and Blaze both watch them. Once they’re gone, Blaze turns to Lyman.

Blaze: “Thanks.”

Lyman: “Don’t mention it.”

Lyman then turns to the crew member.

Lyman: “Again, sorry to interrupt.”

Lyman turns and walks off as Blaze and the crew member watch him leave before returning to their conversation.

Kimberly Williams vs. Chris Lawler

The lights go out, except for a single spotlight at the top of the stage. The opening chords to “Patient Number 9” by Ozzy Osbourne begins to play.  A haunting voice is heard…

"Is there a way out of here?"
"Hey, how long you been here?"
"I wanna go home"
"Hey, hahaha"
"Hahaha"
"Excuse me, could you tell how to get out of here?"
"Hahaha"
"I want to go home"
"Hahaha"
"Mommy, mommy"

The song begins to rage full bore now.  Suddenly the lights come back on and Kimberly Williams is standing at the top of the stage to a loud, mostly positive, reaction from the fans.  A sinister smirk is on her face as she ponders what she is about to do tonight.

Phillips: “The following contest is scheduled for onefall with a twenty minute time limit and is fought under Underground rules! First, on her way to the ring, from Boston, Massachusetts, she is the Wild Card, Kimberly Williams!”

She winks at the fans before pointing towards the ring and making a beeline towards it.  She slides into the ring underneath the bottom rope.  Kimberly then poses in the center of the ring to another loud reaction from the fans.  The music slowly dies down and Kimberly goes to a corner to await the start of the match.

Sharper: “Kimberly Williams, returning home, she’s been given some time away, but comes back and enters the Underground. Her other home!”

Knots: “Oh God…we’re pandering to her and CHBK even wanted to. What are we doing here? Too bad Kim is going to have a bad homecoming in both contexts. Chris Lawler is coming to rip her a new one!”

The dimmed lights cast an atmosphere of anticipation as the arena falls into darkness, the only illumination coming from the pulsating strobe lights. The crowd's murmurs fade into a hush as the opening chords of "Warrior" by Imagine Dragons reverberate through the speakers, electrifying the air with anticipation.

From the depths of the darkness, a figure emerges, his silhouette outlined against the backdrop of flashing lights. With each step, the floor trembles beneath his feet, echoing the determination that propels him forward. It's Chris Lawler, a titan among men, his presence commanding attention as he strides purposefully down the entrance ramp.

Phillips: “Her opponent, from Nashville, Tennessee, he is Chris Lawler!”

His eyes, a piercing shade of blue, remain fixed on the ring ahead, unwavering in their focus as if they could pierce through the very fabric of reality. Ignoring the cacophony of cheers and jeers that surround him, Lawler remains resolute in his mission, his gaze locked on the squared circle where his destiny awaits.

As Lawler reaches the foot of the ring, the strobe lights reach a crescendo, bathing him in a pulsating glow of light and shadow. With a subtle nod to the crowd, Lawler ascends the steel steps, each footfall a testament to his unwavering determination.

Finally, he steps between the ropes, his presence filling the ring with an aura of intensity and purpose. Standing tall in the center of the ring, Lawler raises his gaze to the heavens. Kim exits the ring.

Sharper: “Chris Lawler entering the ring. Clearly under the orders of Frank Delatosso to her Kimberly Williams.”

Knots: “Show her the worst case scenario-“

Sharper: “But Kim on the floor and she’s getting weapons!”

Kim grabs a steel chair and throws it into the ring. Chris swats it away. The bell sounds. She grabs another steel chair and throws it at Lawler. Lawler moves out of the way. She then grabs a kendo stick and throws it into the ring and then grabs a toolbox and tries to just shot put it in. She then moves over and pulls out a table. The crowd roars. She lifts it up, but Lawler runs at her and hits a baseball slide, knocking it back into her face. Kim falls over. Lawler moves to the floor. Kim starts to get up and Lawler nails her with a hard right. Kim falls to the announce table before Lawler gabs her and drives her face first into the announce table. She falls onto it. Lawler turns and grabs the table and lifts it up, unfolding the table legs and sitting it up right between the announce table and the ring.

Sharper: “Lawler taking the fight to Kim.”

Knots: “The table’s got a lot of garbage on it-“

Sharper: “Oh Jon. Come on!”

Knots: “What?! And now Lawler is going to make this fast!”

Lawler turns around, but Kim climbs up to her feet and dives off with a flying clothesline, knocking him down. Kim starts to get up and grabs him and pulls him up before running him face first into the steel steps. Lawler falls down the steps and Kim turns and stomps him in the face and then again and again. Lawler crawls along the barricade, trying to get some distance. Kim then grabs him and pulls him up. She then looks back and hits a Russian leg sweep into the barricade. Lawler falls to his side. Kim then gets up and looks under the ring. She then pulls out as pair of pliers. She then turns and places them on the nose of Lawler. She starts to squeeze as the crowd ohs. Lawler yells out as Kim keeps squeezing and then knees her in the ribs. Kim lets go and drops the pliers. Lawler then rolls Kim into the ring. Lawler then climbs onto the apron and Kim runs at him, but Lawler hits a back elbow. He then enters as Kim runs at him again and tackles him down. She then hammers away on him with a couple of hard right hands.

Sharper: “Kim all over Lawler. And this after trying to rearrange his facial features!”

Knots: “That could break his nose. He could have trouble breathing. Just more of this stupid maiming!”

Lawler covers up as Kim gets a few more shots in. She then turns and grabs a steel chair. Lawler turns and starts to get up and Kim hen turns and swings, nailing him in the back. The crowd ohs and Lawler falls to his knees, while leaning o9n the ropes. Kim then slams the chair into his back again. Kim staggers around and then looks at the chair. She unfolds it and places it down on the mat. She grabs another chair and does the same, placing them back to back. Lawler then starts to pull himself up, clearly in pain. Kim finishes her set up and turns to Lawler, but Lawler then hoists her up into a military press. He then turns and hits a military press slam into the back of the chairs. Kim falls to her feet and falls to the mat, clearly in pain. The crowd ohs as Lawler looks at her.

Sharper: “Oh my God! Oh! The chairs didn’t move!”

Knots: “Well Kim brought them in. Lawler just showed he doesn’t care about her past!”

Sharper: “And look at the look on Lawler’s face. Almost business-like!”

Lawler looks at Kim as the official checks on her. Lawler then heads over and stomps her in the face. She rolls over. Lawler stomps her again and then starts to press down on her head as he grinds the sole of his boot into the side of it. The official tries to get him to stop, but he keeps grinding his foot into Kim’s head. He then turns and grabs Kim. Lawler turns to the chairs before scooping her up and stepping up and hitting a sidewalk slam through the seat of one of the chairs. The crowd ohs. Lawler pulls back on the legs.

Kim gets her shoulder up and rolls over, pushing the other chair out of the way. Lawler looks at her and then gets up. He then turns and grabs the kendo stick. Lawler turns and Kim starts to get up and Lawler cracks her in the back with it. Kim grimaces in pain, arching her back. Lawler then walks over and grabs her and pulls her back and starts to choke her with the kendo stick while standing behind her. He pulls back, but Kim blocks it at first before then hitting a mule kick. The crowd roars. Lawler winces and steps back.

Knots: “Of course! A cheap shot!”

Sharper: “And all legal!”

Knots: “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”

Kim then hits the Morrigan’s Wrath and Lawler falls back through the ropes to the apron. He starts to get up and Lawler glances behind him and sees the table set up earlier. Kim runs at him and Lawler gets an elbow up. Kim staggers back and then right over to the kendo stick. She grabs it and turns and nails Lawler in the head with it. Lawler staggers, holding onto the top rope with it. Kim then turns and nails him in the hand with it. Lawler grimaces in and holds his hand. Kim then looks at him and smiles before exiting to the apron. She then grabs Lawler and wraps the kendo stick around his throat before then hitting a kendo-stick assisted Russian leg sweep through the table. The crowd roars.

Sharper: “She couldn’t help herself! And she drove Lawler through the table!”

Knots: “And herself!”

Sharper: “The kendo stick. The Russian leg sweep. And off the apron through the table, right in front of us!”

Kim winces as Chris Lawler is laid out. Kim looks around, kicking at the table before turning and throwing herself over Lawler.

Lawler gets his shoulder up. The crowd roars. Kim pushes off of him and rolls away. She then looks around before then crawling around the ring and the ring steps. She then moves over to the ring. Lawler starts to stir. He then rolls over and looks around before trying to get a sense of where he is in the ring and where Kim is.

Knots: “Look out Chris. She’s over there!”

Lawler then nods, looking at Knots before turning and looking under the ring. He then looks under and then grabs a barbed wire wrapped bat. The crowd roars. Lawler then starts to roll into the ring. Kim, however, has disappeared from her side of the ring. Lawler walks over and looks down to the floor. Kim is no longer there. We then see Kim roll out on the other side of the ring, brandishing a couple of fluorescent light tubes. She then rolls into the ring. Lawler looks over again and then stops and turns around, hearing the roar of the crowd, but Kim turns and nails Lawler in the face with the light tubes. The crowd ohs.

Sharper: “The light tubes! Right to the face!”

Knots: “She hid under the ring!”

Sharper: “She played Lawler!”

Kim now for the pin.

Lawler gets his shoulder up. He rolls over, wincing as blood starts o come down his face. He looks out as blood drips to the mat. Kim then turns and grabs the barbed wire bat. She smirks as she turns and places it on the face of Lawler and starts to pull back. The crowd roars as Kim drives the barbs into his face. Lawler yells out in pain as Kim keeps pulling back. She then runs it violently across and Lawler falls to the mat. Kim then walks around the ring, holding the bat. Lawler then looks up, his forehead covered in blood. He then starts to get up and Kim turns and steps up to him and swings, nailing him in the stomach with the bat. She pulls it away and then turns and looks around. She then walks over and goes to drive it into his face again, but Lawler blocks it, grabbing the bat and trying to push it away. Kim keeps trying to push it towards Lawler, but Lawler uses his strength and shoves her back. She rolls through and then gets up and Lawler runs at her and hits a Blitz Kick. The crowd ohs. Lawler then falls to the ropes and leans on them. Kim is laid out.

Sharper: “Blitz Kick! Not in the corner. But right in the middle of the ring. And Kim is down.”

Knots: “Do it again. Just keep doing it. Take her out!”

Lawler then walks over and grabs the barbed wire bat. He looks at it as Kim rolls over and Lawler then takes it and holds it at both ends and runs over and drives it down into the back of Kim’s head. The crowd ohs. Lawler then pulls it away, tearing some of Kim’s hair out. The crowd ohs. Lawler then looks down at Kim and then jumps up and drives the barbed wire into her face this time. Kim turns as the crowd ohs. Lawler rolls her over and goes for the pin.

Kim gets her shoulder up. We then see her bleeding from the head. Lawler rolls out of the ring. She then looks around and looks under the ring. He takes a moment before then pulling out a collection of four light tubes, attached by duct tape. He rolls into the ring. Kim starts to get up and Lawler kicks her in the ribs. He drops the light tubes before then grabbing her and whipping her into the ropes. She bounces off and Lawler goes to hoist her up for the Fury Suplex, but Kim spins out and lands behind him and then hits a backflip kick. Lawler falls to the mat. Kim rolls over as the crowd roars.

Sharper: “Kim! Again! The backflip kick this time! And Lawler down!”

Knots: “She won’t just die!”

Sharper: “Kim’s never done what authority wants. She’s not going to start now!”

Kim then crawls to the corner. She exits to the apron and then starts to climb up to the top rope. Lawler starts to stir and Kim gets to the top rope and Lawler steps up and nails her with a hard right. He nails her again and then steps up, but Kim bites him in the forehead. Lawler yells out and Kim nails him in the throat. He drops down to the middle turnbuckle and Kim stands up. She smirks before flipping over with a sunset flip before powerbombing Lawler into the duct-tape wrapped light tubes. She then stacks him up for the pin.

The crowd roars. The bell sounds. Lawler pushes off, defiantly, rolling over. He looks over, wincing, from his stomach, as the glass from the tubes remains in his back. Kim rolls out of the ring and smirks and looks around.

Phillips: “Here is your winner, via pinfall, Kimberly Williams!”

Kim then throws her arms in the air.

Sharper: “And Kim outlasts a Chris Lawler that came to fight. And he looks like he still wants to!”

Knots: “He knew the stakes. But he’s got to come through!”

Sharper: “And Kim, the smile on her face says it all.”

Knots: “She’s a ne’er do well!”

Sharper: “What?”

Knots: “Nothing good out of this! Nothing!”

Sharper: “Chris grimaces in pain and starts to try to stir as Kim walks around the ring, high-fiving fans before crew members come, trying to get her to the back as the scene cuts away.

Backstage, we cut to see Scarlett Carsons in the depths of the building, a red hue falling over her.

Carsons: “It seems that my new friend will be having some freedom as she waits for her rightfully earned opportunity.”

Carsons glances off-screen before then turning back to the camera.

Carsons: “That’s very bad for so many of you. We now have a chance to test what we have. Rise to Greatness weekend was but a mere opportunity. To see what may be possible. Now it is time to see what is probable. And while Scott waits, the Red Garden will grow…and we will see what is probable.”

Carsons glances off screen again. Kirsten Scott walks over. The two look into the camera as the scene cuts away.

Light in the Darkness vs. The Vision

The arena lights drop into an ominous crimson haze as the haunting intro of “Nothing Feels Right” by Ozzy Osbourne crawls through the sound system, thick with unease and anticipation. The crowd instantly responds with a mixed reaction with a surprising amount of cheers, and just as the first distorted riff growls to life, a spotlight ignites at the top of the ramp, illuminating The Vision: Melinda Braddock and Fiona Logan. Standing side by side, they strike an intimidating contrast. Melinda is a vision of smug superiority, her expression cool and contemptuous as she slowly steps forward, chin high and lips curled in a slight, self-satisfied smile. Draped in a gleaming black-and-gold jacket with high-fashion detailing, she moves like she’s walking a runway, not a wrestling ramp; each step deliberate, arrogant, like the crowd should be grateful to witness her existence. Beside her, Fiona Logan bursts into movement like a firecracker, all swagger and attitude. She twirls once with flair, throws her arms wide, and gets the nearest Boston fans pumped up with wild eyes and a devilish grin. Her ring gear shimmers under the strobe lights as she throws kisses to the crowd, soaking in the hometown adoration. She leans over the barricade at one point, pointing out a “Boston Badass” sign with a grin, then skips back toward her partner with a cocky shoulder bump. Trailing just a few steps behind them is Clyde Sutter, a looming figure in black with long, dark hair cascading over his shoulders. His expression is emotionless, unreadable, a stark contrast to the explosive energy in front of him. His eyes scan the ring like a hawk, and while he never says a word, his presence alone demands silence. He’s the dark anchor to the chaos and vanity that is The Vision.

Phillips: “Your main event this evening is a tag team contest, scheduled for one fall! Introducing first, being accompanied to the ring by Clyde Sutter, the team of Melinda Braddock and 'The Boston Badass' Fiona Logan!”

The announcement for Fiona draws a huge wave of cheers from the Boston fans.

Phillips: “They are... The Vision!”

Fiona leads the charge down the ramp, skipping sideways at times or stopping to lean over the barricade to soak in the hometown love from the fans. Near the ring, she hops up onto the apron, wiping her boots with exaggerated showmanship, then perches on the middle rope and leans back dramatically, flashing a mischievous smile. Melinda climbs the steps beside her, slowly and gracefully, while Clyde circles to stand ringside. Once in the ring, Fiona throws her arms wide and spins with theatrical arrogance, flipping her hair before dropping to one knee in the center of the ring, grinning as the chorus hits again. Melinda claps mockingly behind her, and Clyde simply watches from outside the ropes, unmoved but ever present. As the lights return to normal and the music fades, Fiona rises to her feet and pounds her chest with both fists to the delight of the Boston crowd.

Sharper: “Fiona Logan coming home here tonight to Boston as she and Melinda Braddock look to insert their names into the discussion for who should be next in line to challenge for the World Tag Team Titles, and a win over the former champions tonight would be a major statement.”

Knots: “The Vision have Fiona's fellow Bostonians backing them up and this is going to be hostile territory for The Light In The Darkness. Amelia should know that adversity quite well, which is all the more reason why her trying to work together with Luz again is a mistake!”

All of a sudden, the lights go out, prompting a surprised pop from the fans. “True” by Amaranthe begins to play, the opening piano cascading serenely over the arena before the guitars and drums kick in, which is when the LED screens flickering to life to show a large wisteria tree in front of a starry night sky with a beautiful moon, the stars seeming like they’re slowly shifting and dancing around as petals from the tree fall and gracefully glide through the sky. When the lyrics begin, a single spotlight comes to life in the center of the stage, revealing Amelia Nevado and La Pequeña Luz standing together underneath it, hands held and smiles on their faces as if they're posing for a wedding photo. The fans erupt in cheers at the sight of the couple, though a good amount of boos slip through as well that seem to be primarily directed at Amelia. Luz looks concerned, but Amelia just takes a deep breath and nods, the camera close enough to pick up on her telling Luz she kind of expected this tonight. The two exchange a gentle, loving kiss that definitely invites a lot more cheers this time. Amelia and Luz move into position so that when the song goes into the chorus, the two ladies begin to literally waltz their way down to the ring, fast and fluid to keep pace with the song as the spotlight follows their every move, leaving fans mesmerized by their synergy.

Phillips: “And their opponents, the team of Amelia Nevado and La Pequeña Luz... The Light In The Darkness!”

As the chorus reaches its end and the two find themselves at the bottom of the ramp, they pull one another in chest-to-chest and exchange another kiss before pushing away from one another as far as their arms will allow without letting go, their free hands each raised to the sky as the fans give another mixed reaction that still leans more towards cheers. Slowly, the two release one another, the single spotlight splitting in two as Amelia makes her way up the steps to walk across the apron on one side, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. Luz, meanwhile, hops up onto the apron right in front of her and grabs the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. She moves to the center of the ring and drops to her knees, cupping her hands together in front of her while Amelia stands right behind her. A few boos can be heard once again, but Luz looks up and locks eyes with Amelia as they nod in understanding to one another. As Luz lifts her cupped hands upward, the arena lights slowly begin to come back on as Amelia takes her hands and pulls her to her feet, spinning her around one final time into a tight embrace and a soft kiss before the two move to their corner to prepare for battle, with both girls shedding their robes and Amelia also removing her mask.

Knots: “Come on Amelia, you were better than this! You could've been helping to make SCW Gavin again!”

Sharper: “As far as we can tell, Amelia Nevado seems to have distanced herself from Frank Delatosso in the wake of Rise To Greatness. La Pequeña Luz finally managing to get through to her, with perhaps a somewhat unlikely assist from Deanna and even Selena Frost-”

Knots: “Give it time, Sharper. When The Vision knock them down a few pegs tonight, Amelia will realize she's made a terrible mistake.”

Sharper: “Easier said than done, Jon. The Light In The Darkness have earned the right to be considered one of SCW's top tag teams, perhaps of all time. We know they'll meet the Glimmer Sisters again at Apocalypse to determine the official number one contenders for the World Tag Team Titles, and if they can get those titles back together, they'll officially break the long-standing record for most Tag Title reigns by a single team.”

Both teams take a moment to converse about who should start the match, with the Boston fans making their voices heard with dueling chants for Luz and Fiona. Melinda looks a little annoyed as Fiona just shrugs, though she also looks annoyed that she alone isn’t getting all the love. Luz also looks a bit bothered, but Amelia says something to her wife before kissing her on the cheek and stepping out onto the apron. Melinda reluctantly exits as well and referee Aaron Demitra signals for the starting bell. Luz and Fiona circle one another as the fans continue their dueling chants for both ladies. Fiona lunges to grapple Luz, but Luz ducks into a go-behind and steps away. Fiona looks slightly annoyed as she turns and tries to just deck Luz in the face, but Luz ducks and spins Fiona down into a schoolgirl pin! Fiona immediately kicks out, but as she rolls back, Luz quickly catches her with a basement dropkick as soon as she tries to get up! This draws a mixed reaction that leans a little more towards cheers.

Sharper: “Luz definitely not used to competing in hostile territory, it seems like.”

Knots: “All the more reason why Amelia doesn’t need her anymore! She can handle a hostile environment, especially one that somehow thinks Kim Williams is worth declaring a hero!”

Luz looks a little bothered by the crowd reaction but tries to shake it off as she measures a rising Fiona. She charges at her and Fiona ducks a clothesline, but Luz springboards off the middle rope. Whatever she was looking for, however, is intercepted as Fiona just uncorks a nasty forearm strike right to the jaw! Luz crumples to the mat as the fans roar and Fiona hypes up the Boston crowd. She pulls Luz to her feet and lifts her for a suplex, but she stalls and keeps Luz held up as the fans cheer louder and louder for the Boston Badass! Fiona even walks around the ring a bit, pausing to jaw-jack with Amelia as if trying to tempt her into saving her wife, before she finally falls back into the suplex!

Sharper: “Fiona showing off some very impressive strength there, and her hometown fans are eating it up.”

Knots: “I miss the Amelia that would’ve happily stepped into the ring and popped Fiona with an uppercut for mouthing off to her. We don’t need this goody two-shoes act anymore!”

Fiona pulls Luz back to her feet and irish whips her into The Vision’s corner before following in with a stinger splash! As soon as Fiona splashes Luz, Melinda slaps her bicep and Demitra acknowledges the legal tag. Fiona pulls Luz out of the corner and into a spinebuster before Melinda springboards off the top rope into a splash to complete the Fateful Vision! She hooks the leg for the cover while Fiona looks back and dares Amelia once again to enter.

Luz kicks out! Melinda isn’t deterred as she rolls Luz over and transitions into a fujiwara armbar as Fiona steps out onto the apron.

Sharper: “The Vision are just punishing Luz right now!”

Knots: “See Amelia? Luz was holding you back the whole time! Only Mr. Delatosso can guide you back to the greatness you deserve!”

Aaron Demitra checks in with Luz as Melinda keeps torquing her arm, but Luz refuses to submit as she starts squirming towards the ropes. She stretches out her leg and grazes the bottom rope, but Clyde reaches in and shoves her foot off! Demitra immediately looks at Clyde and admonishes him as he plays innocent, but as Melinda tries to bend back even farther, Luz manages to roll with her and lets Melinda’s own momentum carry them both into a modified schoolgirl pin by Luz! Demitra doesn’t see it right away, being too busy warning Clyde for his interference, but he quickly dives for the count once he sees it.

Melinda kicks out! She gets to her feet first and runs off the ropes, trying to catch Luz as she rises with a knee strike, but Luz suddenly rushes her and connects with a flying forearm smash!

Sharper: “Luz, using a bit of creative problem solving to get out of that armbar after Clyde Sutter saw fit to bend the rules for The Vision.”

Knots: “I don’t know what you’re talking about, Adam! Clyde was just making sure the bottom rope wasn’t loose. Can’t have anyone getting hurt in there!”

Luz tries to shake some feeling into her arm as she rises, but Melinda isn’t too far behind her. Seeing this, Luz backflips into a headscissors before twisting to send Melinda into the corner of The Light In The Darkness. Melinda manages to stop herself from hitting the turnbuckles and immediately goes to strike Amelia, but Amelia blocks it and responds with a european uppercut! Melinda staggers into Luz, who lifts her up into a bearhug as Amelia tags herself in. The fans give a mixed reaction as Amelia enters and runs into a springboard off the second rope, twisting into a european uppercut for the Spellraiser! Amelia goes for the cover as Luz steps out onto the apron.

2!

Melinda kicks out! Amelia nods to herself as she grabs Melinda, but the fans suddenly give a very loud mixed reaction that maybe slightly leans towards cheers. A shift in camera angle reveals the reason why to be the Glimmer Sisters strutting their way down the ramp, both clad in some tiny and tight booty shorts and Light In The Darkness shirts that have been heavily “modified” into tiny sleeveless crop tops, with a big tear down the middle that shows so much cleavage it also exposes the black lace bras they’re wearing underneath, along with a little bit of graffiti work to make Amelia and Luz’s images on the front look like clowns.

Knots: “What the hell are they doing out here!?”

Sharper: “I mentioned earlier that the Glimmers will meet The Light In The Darkness at Apocalypse, and just like The Vision, we know they’ve taken offense to the idea that Amelia and Luz are so highly praised as one of SCW’s greatest tag teams.”

Amelia tries to refocus as she pulls Melinda up and hooks the arms before taking her over with a double underhook suplex! As she floats into a cross armbreaker, Luz looks down as the Glimmers reach ringside and demands that they leave, which only entices Gia (we assume) to run a hand along her chest.

Gia (we think): “Like what we’ve done with them? We’re doing you two and your merch a favor!”

Luz shakes her head and tries to return her focus to the ring as Amelia keeps cranking on the cross armbreaker. Demitra checks in, but Melinda refuses to submit. She starts trying to get her feet under her to roll Amelia up into a pin, but Amelia loosens her grip enough to let Melinda flip herself around before she applies an omoplata! She slowly starts trying to work her way into fully applying Earn Your Freedom, but Fiona enters the ring and leaps into a big knee drop right between Amelia’s eyes to break it up! The fans cheer as she starts stomping away relentlessly on Amelia, but as she kneels down to try and pull her back to her feet, Luz suddenly rushes in and catches her with the Flash Freeze!

Sharper: “Things are starting to break down a little bit now, and our senior official also has the Glimmers lurking around to keep an eye on!”

Knots: “I mean, they could screw Amelia over one way or another and prove my point… I’d just hate that they, of all people, would be the ones responsible!”

The fans are on their feet as both teams slowly help each other up before they begin trading blows, forearms for Luz and Fiona and european uppercuts for Amelia and Melinda. Aaron Demitra tries to get Luz and Fiona out of the ring, but Melinda dodges one of Amelia’s uppercuts and grabs her arm, trying to take her down into the Hashtag! Amelia’s taken down to a knee but fights to keep from being fully flattened out on the mat. Luz attempts to go and break it up, but Fiona grabs her and muscles her into the corner, trying to keep her pinned there to allow Melinda to try and score the submission. Amelia keeps fighting to try and prevent Melinda from flattening her out and getting the Hashtag applied, and it’s at this point we see the Glimmers start to move around the ring. Clyde moves to try and intercept one of them, but he’s caught with a superkick on the jaw for his troubles! Gia and Gina both slide into the ring, and before Demitra can try to stop them, they both rush in and smash Amelia and Melinda’s heads together between their asses with the Asspocalypse! Demitra has no choice but to call for the bell and throw the whole match out as the fans begin booing relentlessly.

Knots: “Why must these two ruin everything!?”

Sharper: “The Glimmer Sisters inserting themselves into this match and forcing our senior official to throw it out! All just to gain any sort of edge over The Light In The Darkness before Apocalypse!”

Fiona, who had started hammering away on Luz in the corner, hears the bell and turns to see what’s going on, only for one of the Glimmers to spin and clock her with the Glimmer of Joy! Fiona falls to the mat and is kicked out of the ring as Luz slumps in the corner, leaving her in prime position for the other Glimmer to charge in and smash her skull against the bottom turnbuckle with a running hip attack! The Glimmers grin to one another as they grab Melinda and throw her out of the ring, leaving a furious Clyde to slowly collect Melinda and Fiona as he stares the twins down. They ignore The Vision, however, instead moving to pull Amelia and Luz close as they drop to their knees, resting the couple’s heads in their laps and stroking their hair.

Gia (we think): “Don’t worry, you two. The true best team in SCW is here.”

Gina (we think): “And your true Asspocalypse is only a week away.”

The Glimmers keep intimately taunting the down and out Light In The Darkness while waving goodbye to The Vision as they retreat up the ramp, clearly not in a good mood after their chance to make a statement was completely ruined by the twins.

The lights around the arena begin to flicker in red, white, and blue as "Fortunate Son" by CCR starts to play over the arena. "All Star" Gavin Taylor steps out from behind the curtain onto the top of the ramp, wearing an American flag suit. Brittany walks out with him and they are flanked by his All-Star Secret Service of Jack and Karl Barker. Mr. Black then follows a few strides behind. As Gavin stands in place, posing with his arms outstretched, the chorus of the song plays.

Some folks are born made to wave the flag
Hoo, they're red, white and blue
And when the band plays "Hail to the chief"
Ooh, they point the cannon at you, Lord

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no senator's son, son
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no furtunate one, no

Gavin begins to walk down the ramp with swagger, shaking hands of the men, kissing the hands of the women, and even patting a few kids on the head. He smirks as he gets to the ring, pulling himself to the apron. He hangs out off the ring while holding onto the top rope.

Knots: “Your next World Champion, Sharper!”

Sharper: “Gavin Taylor has his rematch, finally, after several months. Can he get past Deanna Frost?”

Knots: “Yes he can! Why? He can do anything! He’s Gavin God Damned Taylor!”

The song continues...

Some folks are born silver spoon in hand
Lord, don't they help themselves, Lord?
But when the taxman come to the door
Lord, the house lookin' like a rummage sale, yeah

Gavin pulls himself through the ropes and steps onto the second ropes on the opposite side of the ring from the ramp. Brittany enters in after as Mr. Black and Gavin’s A.S.S.S. enter the ring and scan the arena.

It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no millionaire's son, no, no
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, no

Brittany walks over to the corner, demanding a microphone. Phillips hands her one and she turns back and presents the microphone to Gavin. Gavin smiles, taking the microphone. He then looks around as the music fades out. A mixed response comes from the fans.

Gavin: “Ladies and gentlemen….tonight, tonight you get something special. Something truly unprecedented. You get to watch the next World Champion practically guarantee that he will be just that. This is not just because I am the greatest champion, the best champion, the most amazing champion in SCW History. It’s also because I am the champion SCW needs. I’ve talked about Making SCW Gavin Again….and Making America Gavin Again. But this time we really need it. After the steal took place, and it’s clear it was all a grand attempt, the Amelia Hoax…an attempt to steal the World Championship from me just to put it in the hands of Dumb Deanna. Dumb…as you know has a B in it. And Deanna is the B-player in the Frost family.”

Sharper: “Good lord.”

Knots: “An amazing point!”

Gavin looks around.

Gavin: “But it’s also because we have a DEVIANT as the World Champion…no…Delinquent. Delinquent Deanna. So focused on being a triple champion that she is now leaving her children at home, fending for themselves. I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s not even forgotten their names. And how do I know this…while she was phoning in an appearance at Club Ga-BLAM in Montreal, wanting to get out as quick as possible, and showing she is not prepared to be a champion in any way….Mr. Black himself found out that she called home and she was so tired, that she couldn’t even tell between her children on the phone. Isn’t that right, Mr. Black?”

Mr. Black steps up to Gavin.

Mr. Black: “It is. She mixed up her eldest with her middle children.”

Gavin: “Unconscionable! This is a woman who is pretending to be the symbol of greatness in SCW. I know the names of every child I met on the way here. Francis! Harry! Jean! Pillars of SCW fandom now. But SCW deserves so much better. Better than someone who had to use the Amelia Hoax just to get one over me and now can’t be bothered to be the basic symbol of greatness. And while she drags her wife around, rubbing into her face that she’s no longer the champion…and trust me, we don’t need to say too much more about Sleepy Selena. Passed out. Part of the Amelia Hoax too!”

Gavin then turns to the luxury boxes.

Gavin: “But while you take a mother away from her children, I can tell you that if I had children, I have the best woman for the job. Jenni….wave to the crowd, babe!”

We cut to the luxury box to see Jenni Anderson looking down at the crowd, waving. Gavin applauds before we hear the chords of "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson fill the arena, causing a roar from the audience as bright, fall leaves seem to blow and fly on the LED screens on and around the ramp. Deanna Frost walks out from the back holding only her SCW World Championship. She also has a microphone in her hand.

Gavin: “Look everyone, the triple champion doesn’t even care about her other titles. Brittany…take notes on this.”

Deanna: “You really don’t shut up!”

The crowd roars as Gavin looks stunned. Brittany is almost completely taken aback.

Gavin: “Excuse me? That’s nasty. What a nasty thing to say. You…be quiet. Now-“

Deanna: “I am not going to be quiet. I’m not going to stand back there while you run you mouth talking nonsense and claim you deserve anything to do with this title. You had a lucky break and there was no hoax. You just lost as happens when there’s a target on your back. Just like I know could happen at Apocalypse and happens in every title match I’ve been in as I compete around the world, including in your Club GA-Blam where I was dropped on my shoulder. Don’t mean to get all conspiracy theory here, but convenient when I was told SCW security would be involved and they were delayed in your place.”

Gavin: “People were just into the show. We draw a very feisty crowd. This happens when people believe in what you sell. Something you’d never know. But don’t worry…you can go back to your ignorance. Your dumbness. And remember that B-“

Deanna: “Oh shut the hell up!”

The crowd roars again.

Deanna: “Allow me to make this clear. Frank Delatosso can name you the next contender. He can give me a schedule that has me fight all over the world. He can ensure I defend my three titles and I am ready for that challenge. It’s time for me to stop acting like I wasn’t supposed to be here and act like the champion. There, you’re right Gavin, I may have some work to do. But while I’m being a champion, I don’t need the crap from you saying I’m a bad mother. I’m giving them the best role model I can be. Someone who goes after their dreams and fights for them. And while I may not be hugging them tight every night because of this schedule, I make sure that they know I love them. And that’s more real than anything you dumbasses in the ring know!”

The crowd roars.

Deanna: “My shoulder may not still be one hundred percent. I may be in pain from the schedule, but Gavin, I am going to do all I can to make sure there’s not second World Title run, at least on my way. SCW has a champion it can be proud of. One who doesn’t make excuses, and just goes to get the job done. So pine over the Amelia Hoax. Make more conspiracy theories. Have stupid nicknames. Because at Apocalypse, Gavin…it’s going to be checkmate and you’ll need to figure out your next grift!”

“People Like Us” starts to play throughout the arena gain as Deanna looks down at Gavin defiantly. Gavin rolls his eyes and goes over to Brittany, seemingly talking to her. She starts o take notes.

Sharper: “Deanna Frost standing right up to Gavin. Not running. Not making excuses.”

Knots: “And it may all be for not. Gavin is ready. Gavin is a World Champion. He’s a fighter.”

Sharper: “And so is Deanna. And at Apocalypse, they face, World Title on the line. We’ll see you then everyone!”

Deanna continues to stand on the stage, World Title over her head as the scene cuts away…
