Strengths: 

With his troubles now behind him and owning the name, Owen still has the never say die attitude he is known for. There is also now a visible difference, his aggression upped during matches and his new intensity noticible

With his signature moves he can finish a match out of nowhere. His speed allows him to lock in submissions with the same efficiency and have his opponents in trouble before they can react.

Weaknesses: 

His high-risk, quick impact style will sometimes lead to him being caught, and against power wrestlers could be definitive.

Entrance: 

The opening rifts to The Black Adam Theme kick in, as mist fills the entranceway. The music stops, a huge explosion rocks the entranceway and Owen jumps, seemingly through the floor and landing on his feet, dropping to one knee and punching the floor. Owen gets to his feet, and looks left and right at the reaction he is getting, a look of focus and determination on his face as he takes in the crowd. With real intensity, he begins the walk down to the ring, slapping the hand of anyone who offers, a laser show accompanying him alll the way to the bottom of the ramp before he then slides in and under the bottom rope, before standing in the middle of the ring his arms outstretched, beams of light focussing now on only him. Owen points to the turnbuckle and then runs towards it, bouncing on the middle ropes and back flipping backwards, landing on both feet. Owen pulls on the top rope a couple of time, applauding the fans as his music fades

Biography: Born into the Cruze legacy, Owen never really wanted to be a wrestler till at the age of fourteen he realized the effect his Father had given to the industry. His Mother and Father didn’t want him to tread that path, but Owen was adamant that it was what he wanted to be, a feeling further solidified when his Father tragically died in late 2016. Graduating from the AnteUp Academy in New York, which was built in his Father’s name, Owen joined perhaps the toughest nut to crack in the wrestling world, Supreme Championship Wrestling. For three years, Owen was a beacon of light, fighting the good fight best he can whilst winning the World Championship, the second youngest of all time, adding to that a tag team reign. But the cracks started to show, and Owen became darker, angry with his situation and perceived lack of opportunities. He saw himself as a ‘cash cow’ exploited by the company that he once loved. After attacking Olek Drachawych he was suspended, refusing to apologize for his actions. Eventually after paying his fine, he bought out his contract and disappeared from the public eye altogether, not to be heard of, or seen for six months. He came back with a new intensity, and a new surname, Lee, but after finally claiming his redemption he took back his name of birth, ready to own it. The Determination, Intensity and Focus destined to take him back to the top.

(The lights dim as several spotlights shine down upon the entrance ramp.  The opening chords of "Thunderstruck" by AC/DC begins to play over the PA system.  The lights all come on.  Pyro goes off.  The tron flashes to life and the words "Her Royal Majesty" appears on the tron only to be set ablaze and burn away in a fire, almost as if Rome itself were burning.  The words "The Queen is dead" appear in its place.  Then Julia Braddock steps out onto the stage decked out in her wrestling attire, looking ready to go.  Julia goes to one side of the stage and pumps her fists in the air to encourage them to cheer loudly which gets a positive reaction.  She goes to the other side of the stage and does the same, also getting a positive reaction.  Julia then turns towards the ramp and charges towards the ring.  Julia hops up onto the ring apron and then jumps over the top rope and into the ring.  Braddock goes to each corner and hops up to the top, posing for the fans.  Julia steps to the center of the ring and waits on the match to begin.)


Gimmick/Personality (NEEDED): Julia Braddock is the sister of Glory Braddock.  They share a deep respect for the traditions of professional wrestling.  Julia will not take shit from anyone, will fight like hell for what she feels is right.  What makes them different is Julia's aggression.  She tends to be more aggressive and ruthless than Glory.

Biography:

Melinda Braddock was born in London, England to a sixteen year old Glory Braddock and eighteen year old Thomas Gage.  Thomas panicked over the thought of having to raise a child and fled immediately upon learning of Glory’s pregnancy.  This left Glory to raise Melinda herself.  For the first several years of her life, Melinda had her grandfather, Glory’s father Glenn Braddock, to look up to as a father figure.  Glory would later marry twice, her first marriage was to Randall Williams and Melinda had Randall as a father figure during their brief marriage.  Glory’s second and current marriage was to Kurt Logan and Melinda to this day views him as a father figure.  When Melinda turned nineteen Thomas Gage, her biological father, returned into her life.

Glory Braddock did not wish for her daughter to follow in her footsteps, but Melinda was determined to train to become a wrestler.  She snuck out late and secretly trained with her mother’s long time childhood friend Matthew Taylor.  During that time Melinda met Clyde Sutter, who was currently training at Glory Braddock’s training school in Southampton, England.  The two engaged in a short but very lustful relationship.  The relationship quickly went downhill and dissolved shortly after it was revealed that Sutter had a very short fuse and almost no control over his anger.  This rage got Sutter kicked out of Glory’s wrestling school and Melinda herself broke up with him as a result.  Eventually Melinda managed to convince Glory to let her train to be a wrestler.

Melinda rebounded from her relationship with Sutter and began dating Archie Van Stanton, the son of Braddock family arch rival Henry Van Stanton.  It was a typical Romeo and Juliet scenario with both families being opposed to the relationship.  Eventually things calmed down and the Braddocks and Van Stantons made peace.  Melinda was engaged to be married to Archie but that engagement was brought to a sudden and violent end due to the brutal gunning down of Archie Van Stanton by home invaders.

As an in-ring performer, Melinda made her debut on the European independent circuits.  Much like her grandfather, Melinda went on an undefeated streak on the indie circuits before she made her debut in a major company.  Melinda would even reconnect with Clyde Sutter, who had managed to find a way to control and focus his anger.  They began dating again.

Hi all,

For those who haven't been on the discord, I figured I'd post something here. For those who don't know, I teach. And in my region, we've just made the decision to essentially move online for much of January. In the midst of that, trying to help students through everything, I finally hit my wall. I also have a lot of work to do to prep and needed to step back briefly.

My hope is to have BD up tomorrow at the latest. There's still some writing I need to do and some matches that need to be submitted. The EOTY awards nominees will go up tomorrow. EotY's card is essentially full except for one issue which I'll look into today.

Then I'm going to try and get ahead over the Holidays to manage my workload both outside of the fed and inside of it so we can continue to build off the momentum of the last few weeks into the new year.

A really strongly roleplayed show. Really enjoyed reading the work everyone put up and I just hope the show did it justice. SCW really seems to be clicking on a lot of cylinders these days.
