Hi all,

Thanks for everyone's patience with regards to Breakdown. Unfortunately, work wise, this is a very busy time, no matter my best efforts. Thank you also to everyone who took a match to help write Breakdown.

My hope is to get it up tonight; Regardless, in light of this show being late, and also looking at my schedule, rather than just frustrating everyone, I'll make one notable change.

Breakdown will "take place" on Thursday" but really will have a Friday night deadline with the aim of it going up on Saturday. This allows people to still have many days to roleplay, taking into account the late show, and I also have the added couple of days to finish work, and take a breath myself, before diving into Breakdown.

Strengths: His Mouth… He can talk a good game. Some trash talk during the course of the match may get his opponent annoyed to where he can strike when they aren’t expecting it.

Weaknesses: He was trained by Kate who is half his weight. So that definitely may cause some problems. Also gets too wrapped up in taunting and showboating, that he gets picked apart.

Entrance: The spotlight hits the curtain and as it does we can see two silhouettes of two women behind the curtain. They are Sapphire and Ruby who both have an electric guitar and bass guitar respectively. They begin to strum the music of “A Night To Remember” by Shalamar. The moment they begin playing is when “The Lyrical One” Teddy Steele emerges from the curtains with a smile on his face accompanied by his wife Diamond who is wearing a wireless microphone. She begins to sing passionately.
 
Diamond: GET READY… TONIGHT… GONNA MAKE THIS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!!
 
 He smirks as she sings loudly and he slowly walks down the ramp. He begins to shadowbox before he enters into the ring and takes his robe off. The crowd cheers him loudly and he smirks at them. Diamond smiles clapping for her man as she takes her place at ringside trying to pump up the crowd for him.

Biography: With his entire family wrestling he decided what the heck he could go out there and wrestle too. Also wrestling will help pay the bills too. Wants to prove he is more than the manager we seen him as. Wants to show the world what he is about in the ring. Let the power of the red white and the blue take him far. USA!!!! Damn proud to be an American. Even if he married an English woman, and was adopted by an English woman. Doesn’t matter. He is still proud of where he comes from and wants to use his God given right to have fun make some money, and wrestle a person or two.

Now he has combined his lyrical skills in the ring. He’s out to drop lyrics and improve on his wrestling game.
 
He’s a rapper, a family man, a drummer. He was taught how to wrestle by his wife. What’s ironic is for a man who loves America so much he wears Union Jack designed gear to match his wife. Still red, white, and blue though.

The entire arena goes dark and as it does that is when we can see a huge spotlight hitting the curtain and the silhouettes of five figures illuminate behind the curtain. We are able to see Ruby Steele playing a Bass Guitar, Jenni Taylor playing a guitar, and Emerald McAdams on a drum as they begin to cover Fall Out's Boy The Phoenix. They continue playing the song until one figure burst through the curtains. Sapphire smirks as she is holding a Diamond Studded Megaphone in his hands. She points at the crowd and flames appear in a circle.

It’s at that moment that we can see flame pyros going off one after another. We can hear a loud Bird HAWKING nose and that is when Diamond Steele emerges from the floor in her Phoenix inspired gear. She smiles as she gives her sister Sapphire a wicked grin before the two of them walk towards the ring.

The crowd boos as loudly as they can but Sapphire holds the megaphone and puts the Siren on using it to drown out the jeers. Diamond pays no attention to them as she just continues to make her way to the ring.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen making her way to the ring being accompanied to the ring by her sister Phoebe “Sapphire” Steele from London, England, RISING FROM THE ASHES…. She is “The Phoenix” Kate "Diamond" Steele!!!!!!!!

Sapphire: AHEM!!!!!

Sapphire doesn’t seem impressed as she yells into the microphone and slides an index card to Justin.

As the drums in the song pick up Diamond takes the moment to slowly make her way to the ring as Sapphire stands outside. Once inside Kate opens up a pocket mirror and admires how she looks and her hair as she takes a heavy interest in herself waiting for the match to begin.

Siren’s Song (Triangle Choke) When opponent is on the ground Diamond wraps her legs around the opponent’s body and flips them over so that Diamond has her back on the mat. She locks their arm in between her leg to the side as she cuts the circulation off to their head with her legs. She yanks down on their head as she chokes them out with her legs until they submit or pass out.

Entrance: Diamond and the Gem Stones begins to blare all across the sound system and as it does we are able to see the likes of the Gem Stones playing on a tron. Ruby, Emerald, and Sapphire are all playing various instruments as we are able to see Diamond Steele along with her husband Teddy Steele emerging from the curtain. She has a microphone in her hands sings as loudly as she can to the sound of roaring cheers. Kate smirks as she just sings loudly which results in even more cheers. Diamond finally makes it to the ring and she quickly runs up the ring steps as she grabs the turnbuckle as hard as she can. She immediately leap frogs over the ropes and bounces about before she points at the crowd who cheers louder than before. She waves at them off as she throws the microphone to the side. She smirks as she opens up a pocket mirror and takes a moment to admire how beautiful her hair is as she waits for the match to begin. Teddy begins to clap excitedly for his wife as he tries to get the crowd involved.

Biography: Kate Steele grew up a very wealthy girl. Her family moved from England to Greenwich Village, New York when she was just 12 years of age. Her mother owns a large bakery chain and her father owns his own corporation. During her childhood she got everything she could ever ask for. As her parents were never really around so instead her happiness came in the form of gifts constantly. She is the youngest of two girls and her older sister would constantly bully her to the point where she became an Emo. She checked in and out of psychiatric wards as she was always on the verge of committing suicide. One day her sister pushed her too far to the edge where she left home to commit suicide by waiting on a set of train tracks. It was there where she met her future husband Todd Warren better known to the wrestling world as (Teddy Steele) who talked her out of doing the such. The two became close and in 2012 they married one another. Kate got into the wrestling business by watching her best friend at the time wrestle and went to wrestling school to learn. She has been a successful wrestler. She dropped her Emo ways and considers herself to be all punk. She just looks to make friends and fight her way to the top.
 
Kate has been extremely successful. She has spent the beginning of her career specializing in Hardcore Wrestling and throughout all of the companies she has competed at she has held a stunning 8 Hardcore/Extreme Championships. She has had two Tag Team Championships to her name. One World Championship Reign, and has dominated Mid Card Scenes by capturing a stunning 6 Midcard Championships.
 
As far as a gimmick goes Kate is a musician. Everything she has done has involved music. She has been in multiple bands and currently right now is in two bands. She is the rhythm guitarist for Devilition which is ran by world famous wrestler Griffin Hawkins. She also has her own band called the Gem Stones which is a women’s only band where she performs under the name of Diamond Steele. The Gem Stones feature…

BIO, PAST ACCOMPLISHMENTS, AND EVERYTHING ELSE:

Coming from the streets of Compton teaches you to have a edge. Sports was her vehicle to staying out of trouble. Excelled in track. Excelled at basketball. Name a sport, she tried it. Was pretty good at it. Needed an outlet for her athleticism wrestling was the next logical step in her mind. Jeffrey Alexander, took an interest in her and has decided to assist her along her path to becoming a box office attraction. 

She began her career in WWH. There, she competed on there asylum brand, a literal asylum where wrestlers were kept away from the general population. In spite of her moto that she wasn’t a hardcore wrestler, she was thrust in the Underground Division. She excelled. 2x champion. Her lack of faith in management caused her to handover the title, walk away from the fed. She spent a year out of action. Early in 2019, she competed on a television show called The Firm. It was a production where wrestlers pretended to be mobsters. She played a character by the name of Ma Elliot. She was one of the featured characters on the show. Due to backstage politics, the show was cancelled before it had a chance to finish season 1. During that time, she started competing in Omega, a company located in Florida that host shows once a month. She wound up finding a tag team partner by circumstance, those two wound up becoming the Dueling Dyad Tag Team Champions. Keeping herself busy, she entered a tournament that later branched off into its own company (Overpowered Wrestling). What brings her to Emerge is simple, The Pyramid match. Whether she sticks around for the long haul is anyones guess.  

She spent a year competing for OverPowered Wrestling. She was one of the main acts in the company. Her time there didn't work out the way she wanted to in the end. Failing to win the Over Powered Championship. Feeling burn out she opted out of her contract. WWR has always been on her mind. With the ownership of the company now resolved, Diamond is hoping she gets what she is looking for. To be the top woman in wrestling, finally. In WWR she became the Goddess of the Cage Champion, a championship defended inside an MMA style cage, submissions and knockouts are the way you win. 

However, she isn't in Supreme Championship Wrestling to wrestle. She's here to manage.

I'm going to get the show up when I can. As can be expected, a match like that Gauntlet will be a bit of an effort to complete. Trying to also manage that while trying to do what work I need to complete for teaching, and also trying to take some of what's left of my weekend just to relax, it's a challenge. But I want to make sure it's worthwhile for the effort put into the match.
