Note for Shows: Considering she's competed all throughout Europe as well as always being a top student in school, Amelia Nevado is fluid in just about every language that originates from that part of the world, and especially so in Spanish thanks to her luchadora wife. While she will stick with English in show segments, do note that she can slip into other languages as necessary, usually Spanish when she needs to have a private conversation with Luz even with other people around. If she knows someone aside from Luz she's speaking with is from another country, she has no problem holding the conversation in their native tongue if it makes them more comfortable, and when dealing with people that grate on her and Luz's nerves she's prone to dropping snarky or insulting comments in Spanish or another language (French being her usual alternative) as she sees fit.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
-----------------------------------
Wrestler's Alias: Amelia Nevado
Wrestler's Real Name: Amelia Nevado (née Blythe)
Pic Base: Jenna Coleman (brown hair)
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 120 lbs.
Birthdate: September 16, 1997
Birth Place: Oxford, England
Current Residence: Anaheim, California
Billed From: Oxford, England
Physical Description: Amelia Nevado is Caucasian with shoulder-length brown hair, which she keeps tied up in a ponytail when she’s competing, and brown eyes. Her in-ring attire consists of a traditional women’s singlet with Nevado in cursive across the front and the gold design of a crescent moon inside of a sun on the back, black boots with golden crescent moon designs on the sides and white wrist tape. Since her marriage to Luz, she also sports a black silicone wedding band on her left ring finger while competing, with her traditional gold wedding band being reserved for when she's not wrestling. The colors of her singlet will often vary, with her most common (and personal favorite) color scheme being black with orchid colored accents. Her entrance attire includes a silk robe with sequins and Nevado in cursive on the back, with the robe’s colors matching those of her attire for the evening (this means her most common robe is black with orchid colored sequins) as well as a black luchadora mask with pink accents that covers her face while leaving an opening at the top for her hair along with having eye holes and an opening around the mouth and chin area also possessing the gold design of a crescent moon inside of a sun at the very top of the mask on her forehead as well as the border around the eyes being made up of white sequins that easily reflect light, creating the illusion that the outlines of the eyeholes of her mask are constantly glowing with tiny white lights, a gift from her partner and wife La Pequeña Luz. When she’s not competing, her casual attire typically reflects the kind of stylish fashion worn by those who are either models or actually have the money to pay for such top of the line designer clothing.
WRESTLING INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestling Style: Technical/Submission. As the youngest child of the prestigious Blythe family, it’s no surprise that Amelia was raised and trained in their preferred wrestling style. Her technique is probably the finest you’ll ever see, and her surgeon-like precision and brilliant tactical mind combined with years of intense training have made her not only the greatest pure wrestler in her entire family, but perhaps arguably the greatest pure wrestler on the planet. No matter who you are or how good you think you may be, Amelia will find a way to get you to the mat and make you submit with little effort simply because, as her estranged father once put it: ‘she was born into this world for the sole purpose of being the perfect wrestler.’ Since befriending La Pequeña Luz, she’s also started to add in some faster-paced aerial offense to her arsenal, although she tries to reserve it only for moments with as little risk as possible for failure, otherwise preferring to stick with what she knows.
Alignment (Face/Tweener/Heel): Face/Tweener (At her core, she’s a good person, and thanks to La Pequeña Luz coming into her life she’s become more comfortable with being who she actually is. The ‘tweener’ aspect is mostly because there might be some moments where she subconsciously slips back into her former cold, bitter, heartless heel-like demeanor in response to how someone might address her, although she’s usually quick to catch it and apologize. She’ll never do this to Luz though, and she acknowledges it’s something she’s working on since being raised all her life to think and act a certain way is not something you can just turn off that easily.)
Years Pro: 6
Theme Song: “Victorious” by Skillet
Primary/Submission Finisher: Blight Choke
Primary Finisher Description: Katahajime with Bodyscissors, perhaps better known in wrestling as a Half Nelson Choke or the Tazzmission. This is the signature submission hold of the Blythe family, made famous by Aleister Blythe before being adopted by his wife and later passed down to all his children. Despite her now-strained relationship with her parents and especially after finally separating herself from the Blythe name once and for all, Amelia continues to use the hold considering her impressive track record with it, with many in the British and European wrestling scenes familiar with the family claiming she’s perfected the hold to a degree that no one else could ever match, not even her parents or siblings. To date, the only person who’s actually been able to survive her use of the hold has been La Pequeña Luz, a feat that Amelia still can’t figure out to this day. That said, in a similar vein to how my Thirteen character’s Last Breath submission was treated… with the exception of multi-person matches where an outside party can intervene, once Amelia has this hold applied, she’s winning the match regardless of whether her opponent taps out or passes out, so if she’s to be defeated I’d prefer if she either never attempt to apply the hold or isn’t able to get it fully hooked in. She knows every counter to this hold and has her own counters developed for those situations, and will always find a way to keep an opponent in the middle of the ring so that no rope break will save them.
Secondary Finisher: Eye-Opener
Secondary Finisher Description: Hammerlock DDT. This move was born of the same conversation between Amelia and Luz that saw the latter adopt the Lights Out as her own secondary finisher. While Amelia had a valid point in Luz needing it to not cost herself so many matches by unnecessarily taking to the air, Luz had a surprisingly equally valid point about how Amelia only had the Blight Choke to end matches with (a lingering fragment of how she was raised and trained by her parents who demanded she win every match with that hold as a means of proving her superiority) and how it handicapped her in matches where she couldn’t win via submission. It wasn’t too long afterward that Amelia debuted this move to prove she had more variety in how she could end a match, and while she still has some deep-rooted attachment to winning with her submission hold, she’s at least more likely to using this move to win if need be than Luz is to do the same with her secondary finisher, especially since this becomes her go-to match-ender when she finds herself in a match where she cannot win via submission in any capacity. The name is in reference both to the revelation that led to this move being added to her arsenal in the first place and to Luz for how she opened Amelia’s eyes to what she could be if she was able to move beyond her family’s suffocating influence.
Rare Finisher: Ilumina la Noche
(translation: Light Up the Night)
Finisher Description: Corkscrew Shooting Star Press. Amelia has adopted this move from Luz as a symbol of her deep love and gratitude for the luchadora who waltzed into her life and broke down every barrier she was made to put up for the sake of being her family’s ultimate symbol of greatness and nothing more. That said, Amelia isn’t as reckless with using this move as Luz is, hence the reason why it’s rare you’ll see her do this, especially since it’s so far out of her normal arsenal. Amelia will typically only reserve using this for the biggest stages and/or matches when nothing else is working, and even then, she’ll only attempt the move when she is absolutely sure she’s going to land it, not wanting to take the same blind leaps of faith that her partner is prone to doing.
Signature Moves:
- European Uppercuts
- The Abomination
- Earn Your Freedom
- Barrier Cage
- Cutting Ties
Signature Moves Descriptions (If Needed):
- While it’s considered a signature move, Amelia has developed a habit of using European Uppercuts very liberally during her matches. Think Claudio Castagnoli in terms of usage and execution, because she will use any variation of the strike that exists however she sees fit and as often as she can get away with in order to keep her opponents reeling.
- Double Omoplata / Figure Four Stump Puller combination, also known as Zack Sabre Jr’s Cremation Lily submission
- Omoplata / Wristlock Armbar combination, also known as Zack Sabre Jr’s Jim Breaks Armbar
- Arm Trap Cross-Legged STF, better known as the Regal Stretch. The name of the move is basically what happens when Amelia allows La Pequeña Luz to pick a random name for a new submission hold she devised.
- Arm Trap Neckbreaker
Common Moves:
While the moves listed below are the most concrete list of common movies she can perform, it’s far from everything she can do in the ring. To avoid making this any longer than it already is, the best way I can sum up how Amelia Nevado will typically operate in the ring is to ask match writers to watch a few Zack Sabre Jr. matches. The way he’s easily able to get opponents to the mat, indulge in joint manipulation and seamlessly flow from submission to submission no matter how simple or complex the hold may be is a very accurate idea of how to write an Amelia Nevado match, and I’m certainly not opposed to writers taking from Sabre’s ridiculously deep arsenal if they need more moves to work with. Also, while it’s a bit rare because, as mentioned, she’s not as much of a risk-taker as her partner is, Amelia can borrow common and signature moves from La Pequeña Luz’s repertoire if need be to keep opponents off-balance. Although some of the flashier and more creative stuff is beyond her comfort level at the moment (considering Luz’s lucha libre upbringing pretty much tailored her to those kinds of maneuvers) and she prefers to only go ‘high-risk’ when she has the lowest possible risk of failure, she’s still quite effective with whatever she can borrow from her wife.
- Joint Manipulation
- Ankle Lock (sometimes grapevining the opponent’s leg in the process)
- Bridging / Release German Suplex
- Double Underhook Suplex
- Bridging / Release Dragon Suplex
- Heel Hook
- Bridging / Release Northern Lights Suplex
- Standing Shooting Star Press (only uses when she’s certain she’ll connect; can also use this off the apron to an opponent standing or laying outside the ring)
- Dragon Screw
- Guillotine Choke
- Abdominal Stretch
- Hammerlock
- Drop Toe Hold
- Topé Suicida
- Armbar (pretty much any variation of the armbar you can think of can be employed by Amelia during her matches)
- Single / Double Leg Takedown
Strengths:
+ Pure wrestling ability. Her parents built their family’s legacy on being arguably some of the best in-ring technicians the wrestling world has ever seen, impressive especially by the high standards most in British and European circles hold to, and despite being their youngest Amelia was considered their child prodigy. Her natural ability combined with the intense training she was put through at an early age (to the degree that most level-headed people would consider it borderline child abuse) has effectively turned her into the closest thing you could find for a truly perfect wrestler, to such a degree that if she hadn’t crossed paths with La Pequeña Luz and learned to open herself up more, you could legitimately believe she was an android specifically built to outwrestle anyone due to her former cold, calculating personality and virtual lack of flaws in her technique. No matter how good you are, no matter how much more experience you have or more world-traveled you may be, you are not capable of straight-up outwrestling Amelia Nevado, end of story.
+ Amelia is stubborn and resilient to a fault, although her partner La Pequeña Luz prefers to call it “heart and determination” like what she herself shows. While she likely would’ve developed this after befriending Luz regardless, a lot of this is a holdover from who she used to be, because she was trained to “never show weakness,” the personal mantra of the Blythe family. No matter how much punishment she’s endured, not only will Amelia keep fighting with everything she has, but she’s also mastered the art of maintaining a straight face no matter what so her opponents can never tell how much damage they’ve actually been able to inflict upon her. This is why she’s been virtually impossible to keep down no matter what someone’s thrown at her.
+ Amelia is a very intelligent girl, to the degree that she was effectively the top student in all her classes at school (another thing demanded of her by her parents). Because of this, even if she’s long since changed her tune, she will not hesitate to gameplan around exploiting physical weaknesses or obvious flaws in an opponent’s style to give herself a base to build on during a match. Any lingering or recent injuries you may have (unless it was caused by someone literally right before facing her, in which case she’ll ignore it and even try to call the match off because she’s a huge advocate of competing fairly), anything that would slow down a faster wrestler or take away the strength of a more powerful opponent, whatever might disable your ability to use a finisher… Amelia will study you to figure this out and she will use this against you without a second thought.
Weaknesses:
- Due to her style, Amelia prefers a slower pace where she can slowly grind away at an opponent and pick them apart like a surgeon. Because of this, quicker opponents who can maintain a faster tempo to a match and stay out of her grasp will manage to frustrate her, to the point where even someone as strictly trained and disciplined as her will begin making mistakes in a desperate bid to try and slow things down.
- While it’s a more difficult weakness to exploit so long as she has La Pequeña Luz around to help talk her down and comfort her, Amelia still has some lingering mental conflicts from her family, constantly torn between the freedom she’s finally gained from standing up to her parents and calling them out on how she was raised and treating her like she was only put on this earth to be a trophy they could parade around “in the name of the Blythe family being the greatest in all of wrestling, bar none” and feeling like she still has to live up to all those unreasonable expectations and be the absolute best. If you can get Luz out of the equation to take away her moral support, anyone who’s worth their salt at playing mind games can use this to get into her head and throw her off immensely.
- While Amelia does have the pure ability and intelligence capable of planning around it, her size can still work against her. Larger opponents can use their size and strength to brute force their way out of most of her submission attempts if she hasn’t done enough damage yet to whatever body part she’s targeting, and any throws and suplexes in her arsenal are effectively useless if she can’t get her opponent’s feet off the ground because they’re simply too large or heavy for her.
- If there’s one thing Amelia despises more than anything, it’s cheating. This was the case even before she first met Luz (despite being a heel she would never cheat, as her family held a firm belief that cheating was a sign of weakness and a weak wrestler would never truly achieve anything worthwhile in the long run), and it’s only intensified once she realized Luz valued proper hard work and effort just as much as she did. She will have no qualms about outright abandoning a match if teaming with someone other than Luz that will not hesitate to cheat to win (a “fitting punishment” in her mind for someone unwilling to actually put in the proper effort to win the right way) and will try to refuse any result where a victory is the byproduct of said cheating or interference even if it’s a result of whatever feud her opponent is tied up in. Also, if she’s facing someone that’s coming into that match at less than 100% because they were attacked beforehand, she will refuse to compete because there’s no fairness and nothing to truly gain in “finishing a job someone else started.” If there’s any one surefire way to invoke the harsh tongue and cold demeanor that she’s trying to leave behind, it’s cheating to beat her, something she, like Luz, refuses to let anyone actually get away with if she can help it.
Normal Entrance:
“Victorious” by Skillet begins playing as the lights dim a bit. Slowly, Amelia Nevado makes her way onto the stage, putting herself front and center as she folds her hands in front of her, looking like a proper young lady as she looks somewhat solemnly down towards the ring. After a moment of this, La Pequeña Luz skips out from behind Amelia and stands beside her, giving her a pep talk before planting a quick kiss on her cheek which brings a smile to Amelia’s face. The two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia’s look growing more determined and battle-ready as Luz continues her pep talk. Once they reach ringside, Amelia pulls Luz into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she climbs the ring steps onto the apron, wiping her feet before stepping through the ropes. As the song goes into the chorus, Amelia gives a victorious fist pump to the delight of the fans as she takes a moment to soak in the lyrics before removing her robe and mask and handing them off to Luz on the outside, Luz taking the opportunity to give some last minute advice and encouragement.
Alternate Entrance:
This entrance is only to be used if at least one of the following conditions is met. Otherwise, please use her normal entrance:
- If La Pequeña Luz, or all parties for that matter, are explicitly stated to be banned from ringside.
- If Amelia will be competing solo in a match taking place inside an enclosed structure of some kind. (This is for the sake of promising fairness, though if her opponent ends up getting help from attempted outside interference then Luz will not hesitate to hit the ringside area to try and put a stop to it.)
- If Amelia is in a tag match where Luz is NOT her partner for whatever reason. (Again, for the sake of promising fairness. Such examples of this include Trios, randomly drawn tag matches for Fatal Fortunes, or just a match in general where Amelia is set up to team with someone else for whatever reason would make sense in storyline.)
- If it’s some sort of match where La Pequeña Luz also just so happens to be involved but not as her partner.

Biography:
Amelia Blythe is the youngest daughter of Aleister and Ophelia Blythe, making her a second-generation wrestler as both of her parents spent many years dominating the British and European wrestling scenes both before and after they first met and began dating. Considering the impressive legacy they had started building, it became expected of Amelia and her older twin siblings Edward and Emily to follow in their parents’ footsteps and not only become wrestlers but be considered arguably the best wrestlers in the entire world. To the Blythes, being considered the absolute best, bar none, wasn’t simply a lofty expectation of them thinking too highly of themselves… it was supposed to be their way of life, and anyone who dared to consider themselves better was meant to be challenged and shown how wrong they were as soon as possible in the name of pride. Amelia especially suffered from this crushing burden, not only being pushed to essentially be at the top of all her classes in school but also being forced into a grueling training regiment when she was still a child to mold her into the perfect wrestler once she was finally of legal age to begin competing. This was not just because her parents saw potential in her to carry their family name to heights even they could not obtain, but because they considered Edward and Emily handicapped by the fact that they were twins and therefore should primarily focus on being a dominant tag team above all else, and it only made things worse for Amelia when her older siblings began to rebel a bit against their parents once they started competing, still operating as a tag team but foregoing the family approach of straight-up outwrestling their foes in the ring in favor of using deceit and trickery and winning by absolutely any means necessary.
By the time Amelia was legally old enough to begin competing, she had drowned in her parents’ expectations to the point where she locked away who she truly was, becoming the ‘perfect prodigy’ bearing the Blythe name. Because of this, she quickly developed a reputation for being seemingly unstoppable in the ring, dominating opponents everywhere she went and racking up an impressive undefeated streak in the process. Her first opportunity at championship gold would come near the end of her first full year in the sport when one of the main British promotions she competed for set up a special two-night joint show with a Mexican promotion they had a working relationship with. On the first night, she was one of six participants in a six-pack challenge where both companies’ Women’s Titles were on the line. This is the match where she would also first meet La Pequeña Luz, who was also competing in the match as a representative of the Mexican promotion. While it didn’t happen until about two-thirds of the way through the match, when a submission attempt by Amelia was thwarted with Luz accidentally dropkicking another competitor into her, the two of them proceeded to launch into the kind of unplanned scrap that effectively stole the show and became the entire focal point of the remainder of the match, trading counters and inadvertently working in tandem with incredible synergy to keep everyone else out of the way so they could keep clashing with one another, neither one ever gaining any sort of advantage over one another. While the match ended with neither woman being involved in the finish (which Amelia didn’t technically consider an actual loss on her record), Amelia and Luz continued to go at it as though the bell never sounded, forcing officials to separate them. This incident actually altered the card for the second night, as the matches the two originally had scheduled were shuffled around so they could face off one-on-one. Once again, the two ladies effectively stole the show with a match that would’ve been well on its way to being considered potentially one of the greatest matches of all time, including both sides showing they were capable of using moves from the other’s repertoire despite not being known for that style, but the match was ultimately thrown out with no winner when the owners of both promotions got involved to try and cheat and help their girl win, against the wishes of the competitors themselves, all because of a bet they had made earlier in the show. Amelia had been the first to storm backstage in anger at being ‘embarrassed’ by the whole fiasco, and after a confrontation with Luz backstage in the aftermath, the two bitter rivals had surprisingly reached a mutual agreement that a rematch with a proper conclusion needed to happen at some point.
Amelia would get this opportunity when it came time for an annual talent exchange between the two promotions, and the Blythe prodigy immediately took the offer to compete in Mexico for three reasons: introducing herself to the traditional lucha libre styles so she could learn and adapt to facing them like a proper student of the game, using it as an excuse to finally have some time away from her family (due to slowly mounting tensions with the expectations of her parents and growing sick of the taunting of her twin siblings at their record-setting Tag Title reign occurring at the time while she had yet to obtain any gold) and, most importantly, finally having that proper rematch with Luz. She would get that opportunity at the Mexican promotion’s biggest show of the year, and like their last encounter and this time with no foul play, unwanted or otherwise, the two of them put on a spectacle that had the entire wrestling world buzzing. The most shocking moment of the match came when Amelia finally managed to trap Luz in her family’s patented Blight Choke, a hold that no one had ever escaped from when Amelia had utilized it, and despite spending a horrifyingly long time trapped in Amelia’s clutches, Luz kept fighting the whole way and eventually managed to force a rope break, becoming to date the only wrestler to have ever escaped the hold. The absolute shock over this seemingly impossible feat was enough to throw Amelia off just enough for Luz to hand the Blythe prodigy her very first direct professional wrestling defeat, fair and square. After the show, Amelia took to beating herself up backstage, knowing full well the price of failure once her parents learned of the results. To her absolute surprise, her bitter rival was the one who managed to drag her out of the darkness of her self-loathing with a surprisingly revealing conversation where she learned that Luz was also a second-generation talent and had issues of her own that were similar in a lot of ways to Amelia’s (and as proof that Amelia could trust her word, she even privately violated the sacred lucha libre code to reveal both her face and true name, a fact that IS NOT public knowledge for anyone reading this for something to use for promos). After this, the two began to see each other in a new light and grew to respect one another, even spending a good amount of Amelia’s remaining time in Mexico with one another, making Luz the first person ever to see the real Amelia Blythe and not the wrestling machine her parents had turned her into.
When she returned to England, it was no surprise that she found herself being verbally torn apart by her parents over the defeat as well as taunted and bullied by her older siblings as well. The issues with her siblings pushed Amelia to her breaking point, and she shocked everyone by putting her foot down and challenging the seemingly unbeatable twin tandem for their titles, promising she’d reveal who her partner of choice was at the upcoming pay-per-view. The twins accepted, partly because they’d been dying to see how they measured up against the younger sibling they were both told was superior to both of them in terms of pure talent, but mostly at the ‘request’ of their parents who were willing to tolerate the ‘disrespectful’ tactics they employed so long as Amelia was put back in line. On that night, Amelia further shocked everyone when she revealed her partner to be none other than La Pequeña Luz, who had gone from being a bitter rival to her first real friend before she’d returned from her Mexico excursion. The two young ladies seemed tailored made to work together in some capacity as their chemistry caught even the twins off guard, and with their usual tactics snuffed out by Amelia’s familiarity as well as the wild card that was Luz in general, the youngest Blythe conquered her older siblings and ended their seemingly eternal Tag Title reign, beginning one of her own with Luz in the process.
Since then, both girls have found a ton of success, both in singles action as well as teaming together, with Luz helping Amelia to finally find the strength to stand up to her family and walk away from them to forge her own legacy as Amelia helped to balance out Luz’s own issues with her mother being against her wrestling since her father had died as the result of an accident in the ring. Over the years, the two girls slowly grew closer, aided by the decision to live together when they weren’t traveling for shows since neither one felt comfortable at home anymore, and now they find themselves in a relationship together that has only made their bond with one another stronger. As they quietly distanced themselves from their former promotions, having essentially accomplished all they can do in the British/European and Mexican wrestling scenes and wanting to go somewhere with very little risk of resistance from their respective families and the lingering issues that remain, they heard about SCW and the intrigue of a new tag league they were creating as a celebration of a division they believed was lacking the respect it deserved. Even if they might be too late to join in on the fun, they both agree that SCW sounds like just the kind of fresh challenge they’ve been looking for.
After putting together a relatively impressive run in the company, tragedy would strike at the 2021 Retribution pay-per-view when both members of the team were injured in a four way to determine new number one contenders for the Tag Team Titles. Amelia would be hurled from the ring by a powerbomb from Bison Jones, landing awkwardly on her neck. Thankfully, the damage wasn't severe enough to require surgery, but it would still require some physical therapy to recover from, and Amelia had no plans on competing without her partner after Luz sustained a severe concussion later in that same match. In the wake of this, the tandem would be off SCW television in order to recover, and during that time they negotiated their release with SCW management under the belief that once they were 100% again, they wanted to return to the places where they'd built their legacies in order to rebuild themselves. SCW was more than willing to oblige and always left the door open for them to return when they were ready. After catching a recent Breakdown in Mexico City and making plans to be in attendance for the 2022 Under Attack pay-per-view in London, the odds of Amelia and Luz being ready to try their hand at SCW again seem all but certain.
Two years after their return, and it's hard to argue that Amelia and Luz haven't made their mark on SCW, just as so many believed they would when they first arrived on the scene. In addition to three World Tag Team Title reigns alongside her beloved, Amelia has also racked up a Television Title reign and was part of the winning team in the 2024 Trios Tournament. Perhaps the one thing she's proudest of, however, was finally marrying Luz on November 1, 2024, allowing her the chance to be completely free of the last name Blythe once and for all to guarantee that her legacy in the business was hers and hers alone, and she owes it all to the lovable ray of sunshine that came into her life and saved her from herself.

Note for Shows: Having been born and raised in Mexico, La Pequeña Luz is fluid in both Spanish (her native tongue) and English, and she's also dabbled in a few other languages from European countries as well. While she will primarily speak English for show segments since she knows she has a primarily English-speaking audience, note that she can slip into Spanish on occasion. She'll only intentionally do this when calling Amelia some kind of Spanish pet name or if she's talking with someone she knows is also fluid in Spanish (either Amelia herself if they need to have a private conversation with people around them or another person with experience competing in Mexico and lucha libre). Otherwise, the most likely case where she should slip into Spanish would be unintentional moments where her emotions are running too high for her to consciously speak anything other than her native language (moments of extreme joy or anger, for example) and even then she tries to limit it to single words or short phrases. The only time you should ever consider having her go on a full-blown rant in Spanish is if someone's REALLY ticked her off, but be advised that those moments are rare since Luz is usually able to keep herself thinking positively and she'll usually have her partner/wife by her side to help keep her from going too far over the edge.

Wrestler's Alias: La Pequeña Luz
(translation: The Little Light)
Wrestler's Real Name: *Luna Nevado
*Her real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico, where their private lives are kept a secret from the wrestling fans. The only people who know her real name and face, none of whom will ever mention it in public for this reason, are her mother, a few of her father’s colleagues who helped finish her training after her father’s untimely death and bestowed this identity upon her, and Amelia Nevado following a rare moment where the luchadora privately broke this sacred rule as a means to undeniably prove to the British girl that she could trust her.
Pic Base: Meagan Good as adult superhero Darla in Shazam! but with Sexy Star’s mask (I know, it’s a pretty convoluted mashup, and I apologize. It’s been virtually impossible trying to find a masked luchadora even remotely close to how I picture this character looking in my head, so I had to improvise a bit.)
Height: 5’5”
Weight: 120 lbs.
Birthdate: October 14, 1997
Birth Place: Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico
Current Residence: Anaheim, California
Billed From: Tulancingo, Hidalgo, Mexico
Physical Description: La Pequeña Luz is Latina with tanned skin, black hair styled into a pixie cut and brown eyes. She has also recently gained a scar over her left eye that cuts through her eyebrow, but this is something that will never be seen due to her mask so most will never know it's there, or if she is ever unmasked they might assume it's always been there. Because she closely follows lucha libre traditions regarding masked wrestlers, she will always be wearing her mask even in public, which covers her face while leaving an opening at the top so her hair can be clearly seen along with having eye holes and an opening around the mouth and chin area. The signature designs of her mask are the gold design of a crescent moon inside of a sun at the very top of the mask on her forehead as well as the border around the eyes always being made up of white sequins that easily reflect light, creating the illusion that the outlines of the eyeholes of her mask are constantly glowing with tiny white lights. Her in-ring attire consists of long tights and a sleeveless crop top with white boots and white glittery forearm covers. Since her marriage to Amelia, she also sports a black silicone wedding band on her left ring finger while competing, with her traditional gold wedding band being reserved for when she's not wrestling. Aside from the boots, forearm covers, sun/crescent moon design on top of her mask and the sequin outline on the eyeholes, the colors of her mask and attire will often vary, with her most common (and personal favorite) color scheme being white with tropical indigo accents. Her entrance attire includes an elegant electric indigo silk robe with white sequins and the name Luz in cursive on the back in white, a gift from her partner and wife Amelia Nevado. When she’s not competing, her casual attire typically consists of a white short-sleeved hoodie with faded blue jean shorts and black leggings on underneath, all while obviously still having her mask on. She may wear fancier and more ‘model-like’ clothes on occasion since Amelia has the money and connections to cover it, but casual is usually her more preferred style.
WRESTLING INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestling Style: Fast, high-risk, high-flying. That’s the simplest way to sum up Luz’s in-ring style. She will always try to keep the pace of a match at a lightning-quick tempo, constantly trying to stay on the move and keep her opponents off-balance. Any chance she can get to leave her feet, she’ll take it without hesitation, and for better or worse she hasn’t met a risk she wasn’t willing to take to put an opponent down for the three count. She’s also very resourceful, able to seemingly invent counters or new ways to do moves on the fly to keep opponents guessing. Since befriending Amelia Nevado, she’s also started to develop a solid technical aspect that was sorely lacking in her offense before, and after the couple recovered from their respective injuries the last time they were seen in SCW she's become more comfortable with slowing things down as needed, which can really throw opponents off from the abrupt transition from lighting quick tempo to slowing things down and then back again.
Alignment (Face/Tweener/Heel): Face
Years Pro: 6
Theme Song: “Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden
Primary Finisher: Ilumina la Noche
(translation: Light Up the Night)
Primary Finisher Description: Corkscrew Shooting Star Press. This is the move Luz prefers to end all of her matches with whenever possible, though it has often led to her downfall should she miss. As such, most of her matches will see her try to make some kind of attempt at this move, with missing usually being a perfect setup for her opponent to connect with their own finisher. She mostly uses the Lights Out (described below) to set this move up, laying out her opponent and allowing her ample time to quickly make her way to the top turnbuckle to go for it, although should an opening just so happen to present itself without hitting the Lights Out beforehand, she’ll more than happily take it.
Secondary Finisher/Primary Set-Up: Lights Out
Secondary Finisher Description: Jumping Reverse Bulldog, perhaps better known as the Zig Zag. Luz initially learned this move specifically to serve as her half of her and Amelia’s tag team finisher, the Wisteria Waltz. However, she began using it in singles action mostly as a set-up for Ilumina la Noche, but after the sheer number of times she’s thrown away a win because she insists on ending all her matches with that move, Amelia put her foot down and insisted that her partner adopt a second finisher that doesn’t rely on wasting time going to the top rope. Thus, this move gained a name and became her secondary finisher. This move will mostly still be used more as a set-up for Ilumina la Noche than anything else, and will certainly be used as a match ender far less than Ilumina la Noche, but Luz can end a match with this move if need be.
Submission Finisher: La Mágica
(translation: The Magic)
Finisher Description: Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors transitioned into a Single Arm Takedown floated over into a Fujiwara Armbar, better known as La Mística. This move is essentially Luz’s attempt to blend some of her fast, flashy offense with some of the more technical aspects she’s developed since befriending Amelia Nevado. This becomes her go-to way to win (considering it’d be her only option of doing so) if she ever finds herself in a match that MUST end by submission.
Signature Moves:
- Caer del Cielo (translation: Fall from Heaven)
- Flash Freeze
- Esperanza Brillante (translation: Shining Hope)
- Vuelo Encantado (translation: Enchanted Flight)
- Ensnaring Vines
Signature Moves Descriptions (If Needed):
- 450 Splash. This move was adopted from her late father, El Espíritu Angélico, and she uses his former finisher as a tribute to him and the influence he had on her.
- Shining Wizard. This move was adopted from one of her father’s friends who took the greatest initiative in helping to finish her wrestling training after his passing. The name choice is an homage to said trainer mostly using different ice-themed gimmicks and identities over the years.
- Handspring Cutter, also known as Jay Lethal's Lethal Injection
- Swanton Bomb
- Texas Cloverleaf
Common Moves:
While the moves listed below are the most concrete list of common movies she can perform, it’s far from everything she can do in the ring. In a similar vein to my old Aaron Blackbourne character, Luz is capable of busting out new moves and spots that may have never even been seen before out of nowhere to keep opponents off-balance, so don’t hesitate to get creative writing her matches. Also, Luz loves taking risks, so if you feel there’s a spot where she can go high-risk even if it makes absolutely no sense, run with it. Luz is that much of a free spirited risk-taker that she will frequently do something before fully thinking it through. Also, Luz can borrow common and signature moves from Amelia Nevado’s repertoire if need be to keep opponents off-balance. Although she’s not skilled enough to fluidly transition from hold to hold like Amelia can (and more complicated holds like The Abomination are beyond her current skill level), she’s still quite effective with whatever she can borrow from her wife.
- Arm Drags (Luz has a preference for springboard variants, but anything classified as an arm drag can be employed by her during matches)
- Hurricanrana (Luz can do this standing, springboarding or off the top rope, including having the ability to leap from the mat and catch an opponent on the top turnbuckle without ever landing on the turnbuckles herself)
- Topé Suicida
- Suicide Senton
- Tilt-a-Whirl Headscissors
- Diving / Standing Moonsault
- Tornado DDT
- Standing / Springboard / Missile / Basement Dropkick
- Tiger Feint Kick
- Diving Crossbody
- Spinning Wheel Kick
- Surfboard
- Snap Dragon Suplex
- Bridging / Release Tiger Suplex
- Enzuigiri
- Flying Forearm Smash
- Victory Roll
- Space Flying Tiger Drop (Cartwheel Over the Top Rope Suicide Corkscrew Senton)
Strengths:
+ Speed/Tempo. A case could be made that La Pequeña Luz could very well be the fastest wrestler out there, and the pace she prefers to keep a match at can be very difficult to keep up with for even wrestlers who also specialize in speed. She also has the stamina to be able to maintain this speed and pace when even the most well-conditioned wrestlers would be starting to slow down, no matter how much wear and tear she’s sustained herself over the course of a match. This is generally how Luz is able to win her matches, because it’s hard to keep up with someone who’s able to still run circles around you with no signs of slowing down even if you and her have been going at it for an hour by that point.
+ The determination and heart of La Pequeña Luz is very clearly something she inherited from her late father, and is arguably the biggest reason people fall back on to explain how on earth she’s survived some of the things she has in the ring, including still being the only person to this day to have survived Amelia Nevado’s inescapable Blight Choke. No matter how much punishment she takes, no matter how impossible the odds, Luz will never back down and will find a way to keep fighting even long after she should have been history.
+ Luz is ridiculously resourceful, to the point that some have preferred to say she’s extremely lucky as a means of trying to save face when she catches them off guard with one of her improvised tactics. What she typically lacks in having a gameplan going into a match is more than made up for by how quickly she can turn the tide with some kind of move or counter, often innovated on the spot and driven by impulse, using whatever resources are (legally) available to her at that moment. She is an opponent you will never be able to truly say you have a complete advantage over, because the moment you start settling in to your gameplan is the moment she’ll pull something out of thin air to turn it entirely on its head.
Weaknesses:
- Arguably Luz’s biggest weakness is how willing she is to take risks, all in the name of giving the audience something spectacular to enjoy. No matter the situation, if she thinks she can go high-risk, she will go high-risk, even when there’s absolutely no reason to do so. She’s cost herself plenty of matches purely because she’s insisted on ending it with Ilumina la Noche even when she virtually had her opponent down and out, or simply took one too many risks and crashed and burned or flew right into a counter because she was too focused on pulling off whatever she had in mind. If Luz loses a match she should have, by all accounts, won, roughly 90% of the time her taking a risk she didn’t need to will likely be what cost her.
- While it’s not as much of a weakness anymore now that she has Amelia Nevado watching her back, Luz has the kind of attitude that insists she seek out the good in everyone and give them a chance, even if anyone with half a brain cell knows better. While it managed to work in breaking down Amelia’s walls over time, this level of kindness won’t work on everyone she meets, and many have been able to take advantage of it to lure Luz into a situation that’s to her detriment in some capacity. You really have to have intentionally stirred up some personal animosity for this girl to not even try to so much as compliment you, which is the only other time this weakness does not apply.
- While her speed and the pace she tries to maintain will often eventually overcome this as a match goes on and her opponent is tired out, Luz is still not the biggest dog in the fight. Most larger opponents will easily be able to overwhelm her with their size and strength, and the longer you can keep her from trying to quicken the pace, the better your chances are of finding the opening you need to put her down.
- As is to be expected of someone as kind and hard-working as Luz is, especially considering she’s the daughter of one of Mexico’s greatest técnicos (lucha libre’s term for faces) and is following that same path, Luz hates cheating. She is willing to talk a referee or authority figure into overturning or nullifying a win of hers that comes from it (either via outside interference relating to whatever feud her opponent may be involved with at the time or because she’s teaming with someone aside from Amelia who won’t think twice about using underhanded tactics to get the job done) and will make it her mission to get a rematch as soon as possible with someone who needed to cheat to beat her in order to either force them to earn that win the right way or make them regret thinking that they could cheat her out of a properly-deserved victory. Many feuds she’s been involved with over the years have mostly spawned from this small thing alone, and it’s brought her fair share of trouble due to her persistence in trying to right these wrongs when they happen.
Normal Entrance:
“Believe In Tomorrow” by Sunflower’s Garden begins to play as bright white lights begin flickering on and off on the stage in rhythm with the music. La Pequeña Luz skips out onto the stage with the kind of smile that could light up an entire room all on its own plastered to her face, dancing a bit to her theme song and waving her arms in an attempt to get the crowd pumped up, drawing cheers. As she looks down towards the ring, the smile fades as something seems to flicker through her mind, but she’s snapped out of the trance as Amelia Nevado slowly makes her way out, placing a comforting hand on Luz’s shoulder. With a quick kiss to her cheek, Luz’s smile returns as the two proceed to lock hands before heading down to the ring, Amelia trying her best to keep up with Luz’s energetic skipping. Once they reach ringside, Luz pulls Amelia into a brief but passionate kiss before letting her go as she hops up onto the apron, grabbing the top rope before vaulting herself into a somersault into the ring, landing on her feet. Luz begins skipping around the ring, motioning once more for the fans to make some noise as they answer this call while Amelia takes her place in Luz’s corner on the floor, chuckling to herself and shaking her head at Luz’s energy. Luz removes her robe and hands it off to Amelia, who gives some last minute advice and words of encouragement as she does so.
Alternate Entrance:
This entrance is only to be used if at least one of the following conditions is met. Otherwise, please use her normal entrance:
- If Amelia Nevado, or all parties for that matter, are explicitly stated to be banned from ringside.
- If Luz will be competing solo in a match taking place inside an enclosed structure of some kind. (This is for the sake of promising fairness, though if her opponent ends up getting help from attempted outside interference then Amelia will not hesitate to hit the ringside area to try and put a stop to it.)
- If Luz is in a tag match where Amelia is NOT her partner for whatever reason. (Again, for the sake of promising fairness. Such examples of this include Trios, randomly drawn tag matches for Fatal Fortunes, or just a match in general where Luz is set up to team with someone else for whatever reason would make sense in storyline.)
- If it’s some sort of match where Amelia Nevado also just so happens to be involved but not as her partner.

Biography:
La Pequeña Luz is the only child of Dra. Camila Nevado and the man known throughout Mexico as El Espíritu Angélico, a luchador who has long been considered a legendary household name to fans of professional wrestling, thus making Luz a second-generation wrestler. She grew up idolizing her father, both as a wrestler and as the hero he was viewed as to the people around him because, like all masked luchadores, he was considered a larger than life character that represented so much more than just what he could do in the ring. Luz had aspirations of following in her father’s footsteps one day, a dream he supported in hopes that when he finally retired he would be able to pass the torch to his little girl. Even her mother was supportive of her dreams despite the reservations she had every now and then, considering she was a doctor and was growing more and more concerned with some of the bumps her husband took in the ring for the sake of giving the fans the show they deserved. Once he felt she was old enough, Angélico started training his daughter, teaching her all he knew about the business and instilling in her the sacred lucha libre code, making her all the more excited for the day when she was old enough to start competing herself so she, too, could become one of these proverbial icons of her culture.
Everything changed just two months before her eighteenth birthday, when she’d been promised she could finally become a full-fledged luchadora herself and begin competing. Luz and her mother had been sitting in the front row watching Angélico do battle against one of his longest-running rivals. There came a point where Angélico was meant to take his opponent’s finisher, a Backdrop Driver, and kick out to go into the real finishing sequence, but something went horribly wrong, and when Angélico didn’t kick out of the referee’s count as planned, it became immediately apparent. Tragically, Angélico had been lifted a little too high as a result of his opponent losing his grip at the height of the lift, resulting in his head and neck hitting the mat in a very awkward angle, said angle and the impact being enough to cause serious spinal trauma. That night, lucha libre tragically bid farewell to one of its greatest heroes, and while Luz watched this all unfold before her in horror but held on to her determination to join the business herself in memory of her father, her mother had a complete change of heart about the business considering she’d watched her husband die in the ring before her very eyes, and was not about to risk losing her daughter as well. Luz fought against her mother’s resistance, finishing her training in secret with some of her father’s closest friends and allies in the sport (a request left in her father’s will in case anything happened to him before she started wrestling, and something her mother conveniently tried to ignore, hence the secrecy). They were the ones who bestowed her mask and name upon her, and thus, La Pequeña Luz was born.
Luz took to the wrestling business like a duck to water, quickly building her name and earning the love and respect of the fans, though part of her could never shake the feeling that they were only doing so out of respect for who her father was. Despite her very clear talent, she would find herself losing plenty of matches she should’ve won, with her desire to take risks whenever the opportunity presented itself being the main problem. What many didn’t know was that some of these risks were inhibited by her mother’s warnings and the lingering memory of how her father died from a move gone wrong, causing the split second delay that ultimately led her to crash and burn. Despite these setbacks, she would eventually find championship gold in her sights near the end of her first full year in the sport when one of the main Mexican promotions she competed for set up a special two-night joint show with a British promotion they had a working relationship with. On the first night, she was one of six participants in a six-pack challenge where both companies’ Women’s Titles were on the line. This would be the match where she would also meet Amelia Blythe, who was also competing in the match as a representative of the British promotion. While it didn’t happen until about two-thirds of the way through the match, when Luz dropkicked a competitor and caused them to accidentally break up a submission attempt by Amelia on another competitor, the two of them proceeded to launch into the kind of unplanned scrap that effectively stole the show and became the entire focal point of the remainder of the match, trading counters and inadvertently working in tandem with incredible synergy to keep everyone else out of the way so they could keep clashing with one another, neither one ever gaining any sort of advantage over one another. While the match ended with neither woman being involved in the finish, Luz and Amelia continued to go at it as though the bell never sounded, forcing officials to separate them. This was one of the rare times where Luz let herself publicly show anger and frustration as the result went against everything her character stood for, but after noticing Amelia storm to the back in similar frustration she followed after her. When they met backstage, the two bitter rivals had surprisingly reached a mutual agreement that a rematch with a proper conclusion needed to happen at some point.
Luz returned to Mexico and set about trying to work past the interference she felt tainted her character a bit from those joint shows, working harder than she ever had before, and in the process having to resist more of her mother’s attempts to get her to give up wrestling for her own safety. Knowing that she had a rival out there she would meet again someday only fueled the fire inside of her, and Luz would have that rematch much sooner than she anticipated when the two promotions had an annual talent exchange and she heard Amelia Blythe was on the list of names willing to come to her homeland to compete for a time. Naturally, the rematch of the ages seemed like a no-brainer to book for her promotion’s biggest show of the year, especially after a talk with the owner to ensure that this match would have no outside interference this time, and Luz went into that show on a hot streak the likes of which she’d never had before, determined to prove herself and earn the respect of the Blythe prodigy. Like their last encounter, the two of them put on a spectacle that had the entire wrestling world buzzing. The most shocking moment of the match came when Luz found herself trapped in Amelia’s patented Blight Choke, a hold that no one had ever escaped from when the British girl had utilized it, and despite spending a horrifyingly long time trapped in Amelia’s clutches, Luz kept fighting the whole way and eventually managed to force a rope break, becoming to date the only wrestler to have ever escaped the hold. The absolute shock over this seemingly impossible feat was enough to throw Amelia off just enough for Luz to hand the Blythe prodigy her very first direct professional wrestling defeat, fair and square. After the show, Luz sought Amelia out and found her backstage berating herself for her failure, realizing in that moment that they weren’t so different after all with the immense pressure put on them, both by their peers and themselves, to live up to the impossibly high expectations demanded of them because of their status as second-generation talent to such iconic names in their respective parts of the world. After managing to start a conversation with her rival (that included Luz privately violating the sacred lucha libre code to reveal both her face and true name as proof that Amelia could trust in what she had to say, a fact that IS NOT public knowledge for anyone reading this for something to use for promos), the two of them actually managed to hit it off as they found sympathy in one another’s situations and Luz got the chance to see the real Amelia Blythe where no one else had been allowed to before. This led to the two girls spending a good amount of Amelia’s remaining time in Mexico with one another outside of the ring, creating a true friendship that the both of them had desperately needed but had been lacking up until now.
Despite being upset when Amelia had to return to England, Luz forged ahead and continued to prove herself, determined to make sure that the people who put her on a pedestal in Mexican culture were doing so because of what she was capable of and not just because of who her father was. Ironically, she would get this opportunity in a different country entirely, as barely a few weeks removed from the last time they saw one another, Luz received a call for Amelia asking for help with a situation she’d gotten herself into in her home promotion. This led to Luz making an unexpected appearance at the British promotion’s next pay-per-view, revealing herself as Amelia’s mystery partner to challenge her sneaky and seemingly unbeatable older twin siblings Edward and Emily for the tag team gold they had been holding hostage for a little over two full years by that point. The two young ladies seemed tailored made to work together in some capacity as their chemistry caught even the twins off guard, and with their usual tactics snuffed out by Amelia’s familiarity as well as the wild card that was Luz in general, the Blythe Twins fell and Luz and Amelia got their first taste of gold, the moment meaning so much more considering they’d accomplished it together and allowed Amelia a chance to finally stand up to her controlling family and fight back.
Luz, after spending a good chunk of the match fighting alone after Amelia was injured, would sustain a severe concussion following a title belt shot from Adam Allocco that would lead to her defeat. After catching a recent Breakdown in Mexico City and making plans to be in attendance for the 2022 Under Attack pay-per-view in London, the odds of Luz and Amelia being ready to try their hand at SCW again seem all but certain.
Two years after their return, and it's hard to argue that Luz and Amelia haven't made their mark on SCW, just as so many believed they would when they first arrived on the scene. In addition to three World Tag Team Title reigns alongside her beloved, Luz has also racked up a fairly lengthy Television Title reign. Perhaps the one thing she's proudest of, however, was finally marrying Amelia on November 1, 2024, binding herself for all eternity with the love of her life and knowing, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that she truly deserves everything she's fought so hard to earn both in and out of the ring.

By now, it's 4:30 and I've got nothing to show for this RP. It's just... not happening. Add in that I've been tending to two sick little girls all day, and unfortunately this no show has a reason. My apologies to Matt (who I'm sure was looking forward to Gavin's work) and everyone who will be missing out this time around. I feel pretty crummy about it... may need to start evaluating who I have around SCW and start limiting myself. We'll see.
(EDIT Before anyone gets too worried, they're not Covid-sick. Just seasonal cold sick - all stuffed up and sucky)

Hello, everyone.
As you all know, we've recently had a new member join SCW.
Or have we?
I don't think so.
Given the way this handler has been booked, I believe that they have a history in SCW, and now they're back among us.
For the last several months, Ricky James and Lucy Huckabee-Sanders (The Silent Majority) have featured heavily on Breakdown and even on pay-per-view. Their satirical political antics have been a nice change of pace for the shows and I'm looking forward to what comes next for them.
With that being said, nobody likes someone that lives in the shadows. So, I'm here to reveal the identity of the handler of Ricky James so we can all rest easier at night and so perhaps they can reveal themselves to become closer within this great community we've all built.
What follows is my initial list of suspects that I created months ago.
(Note: this list was mostly created by closely examining the format of the roleplays provided by the handlers, but I've used my extensive investigative skills to study several other factors [OOC personality, writing habits, number of characters already active, etc.] that have filled out this list expertly.)
Possible Ricky James Handlers (Current characters handled in parenthesis):
JJ (Jordan Majors, VIHAAN)
Fizz (Konrad Raab)
Brett (Giovanni Aries/The Wonderland)
Ian (Jake Starr)
Jay (Jay Gold)
Olk (CHBK, STD, Mr. D)
Jon (Cookie Dreams, Chris Cannon, Lucas Knight)
JORSH (No characters)
Rachel (Cassidy Carter)
Tyler (Holly Adams)
Chris (Owen Cruze)
Omar (Sienna Swann, Regan Street, Peyton Rice)
Alexis (Syren, Ravyn, Christy Matthews, Autumn Valentine)
Wasley (David Helms, Jason Helms)
Now, let's start with some names that may appear odd to you. I call this set of people THE WILD CARDS.
THE WILD CARDS
Alexis
Wasley
Jon
Chris
Fizz
Tyler
Rachel
Why are these people classified as wild cards? Well, there are several reasons, from their writing styles differing from that of Ricky James to the fact that some of them likely don't have time to handle an additional character.
But let's start with the obvious.
Alexis, Wasley, Jon, Fizz, and Chris are British. Or something.
BRITISH INVASION
So, what do we know about the British?
Simple enough, they hate Americans.
Only someone who took issue with some American culture would craft a character like Ricky James. It's a deeper look into the more judgemental side of Americans and it's written in such a way to poke fun at some of the more extremist views of that part of the country.
Let's start with Alexis and Wasley. Both have great experience writing annoying and self-absorbed Americans (Syren, Jason Helms). That's a great start, right? Despite the different writing format, surely these two are worth looking into, correct?
Wrong.
Ricky James may not be 100% American. Based off of his bio (found in the bio boards), Ricky was born in Mexico. He also has Andrade as his pic base. His manager LHS has spoken Spanish multiple times while under great duress on Breakdown. By all accounts, Ricky James is simply a lover of America, but posing as a full American.
So, unless Alexis and Wasley have been writing secret Mexicans during my absence, it's safe to assume that these two can be ruled out of being the handlers of Ricky James.
Alexis and Wasley have been eliminated.
But what about the rest of the Brits?
Jon - a very humorous man - has a similar format to Ricky. However! He's currently running THREE characters. As we all know, he recently took a brief LOA to focus on himself and decide what he wants to do in e-fedding. Thankfully, he decided to come back and grace us with some of the best characters in SCW. But I have a hard time believing he'd go from "considering things" to running FOUR characters, including a completely new one. I'm going to have to take Jon off the list.
Jon has been eliminated.
Now, Chris has a similar writing style to Ricky as well. The problem here is that Chris writes very British. As in, there are many phrases in his writing that dumb Americans such as myself don't really understand. Seriously, what does "knocked for six" even mean? No American knows. In Ricky's writing, I have not seen a single Britishism. This and the fact that Chris is busy with EMERGE leads me to believe Chris is no longer a suspect.
Chris has been eliminated.
Lastly, we have Fizz. Well, Ricky almost certainly isn't handled by Fizz, right?
Again, wrong.
By this point in the investigation, I had a lot of evidence on Fizz. Similar writing styles. Both Ricky and Fizz have a deep love of Bree Lancaster. Perhaps the largest bit of evidence I have is that for about a month after my return, I thought Fizz was German. It turns out, she's very much not. Kind of like how many people believe Ricky to be American when he's actually Mexican.
To add to this, she has also denied handling Ricky multiple times. What do we say about denial? We say IT’S SUSPICIOUS.
This is enough to make Fizz a PRIME SUSPECT.
The thing is though, we all know Fizz quite well. Handling a character like Ricky isn't really in her nature, huh? Hell, she's even said that she doesn't follow politics at all. With all of that, I guess I have to take her off the list, don't you think?
Once again, you're dead wrong.
Y'all ever seen Primal Fear? The message of that film leads me to believe that Fizz is putting on an act of unawareness regarding politics, specifically American politics. It's such an easy claim to make. The perfect way to cover your tracks.
All of the above makes Fizz an ULTRA PRIME SUSPECT in this case, the highest level of suspect on my personal meter.
And before we move on, we'll briefly address the rest of THE WILD CARDS.
Tyler is a suspect after being a recent returnee and also making the banners for Ricky James. Just look at this.
It's stunning.
But? There's no request for Ricky in Tyler's graphics thread.
This isn't a death sentence, though. I have noticed several banners around, clearly made by Tyler, that have no public requests attached, which leads me to believe some people are just too socially anxious to make a public request, which is fair.
Coupled with the fact that I speak to Tyler on a near-daily basis and he has never given me a reason to believe that he's Ricky James, I declare that he's no longer a valid suspect.
Tyler has been eliminated.
As for Rachel, her name was put on this list as Ricky's first match outside of in-actions happened on a week where she no showed. Suspicious, yes? Well, except for the fact that Rachel is even less reliable than Doug and G, two notorious no shows, and Ricky has roleplayed for every match he's been in. So.
Rachel has been eliminated.
Updated List of Possible Ricky James Handlers:
JJ
Fizz
Brett
Ian
Jay
Olk
Jon
JORSH
Rachel
Tyler
Chris
Omar
Alexis
Wasley
Before we dig any deeper, we should address the fact that some people on here are appearing strictly because the format of the roleplays are similar. You know the type. That script-like format, letting us know who’s speaking before every line. It used to be the norm, but now it sticks out, which has thankfully helped us in this investigation.
FORMAT OF A PIECE
Here is a list of people that use the same formatting as Ricky James.
JJ
Brett
Ian
Jay
Olk
Omar
I was able to get through a couple of these pretty quick.
Jay was an interesting suspect, as I could see him wanting to change things up a bit but maybe not being able to use the character of Jay Gold for experimentation. What convinced me that this was not Jay was the fact that there are ZERO references to anyone getting a Golden Moment in Ricky roleplays.
Jay has been eliminated.
With the amount of humor attached to Ricky’s roleplays, Ian was initially someone I was keeping an eye on. The giveaway that it wasn’t Ian was that it didn’t have enough symbols in the formatting. Also not enough potty humor.
Ian has been eliminated.
As for Brett? Not enough drug use.
Brett has been eliminated.
Now that we’ve trimmed some fat, things are about to get heated here, but before moving on, we should probably talk about someone that sticks out like a sore thumb on this list.
THE ANOMALY
We need to talk about JORSH.
An OOC LEGEND in SCW history, there are several things here that make him an easy PRIME SUSPECT.
He has no character at the moment. That’s massive. He’s also recently returned, appearing in the Discord during the build to Rise to Greatness. The fact that he has no character yet despite returning a while ago is not a good look for him.
The worst thing though?
JORSH once lied about his age.
Long ago, he lied about his age, and it’s something that we’ll always remember. That night he revealed that he was actually a couple of years younger than we initially thought will always be an infamous night in SCW Discord history.
Thankfully, his friend Tyler never lies, which is a big reason why he was taken off of the suspect list early.
Unfortunately, the earlier information combined with the long history of being untruthful has made JORSH an ULTRA PRIME SUSPECT in this case.

JORSH
Rachel
Tyler

Alexis
Wasley
I’ll warn everyone now, it’s about to get emotional in here. We’re down to the final suspects, two of which are ULTRA PRIME SUSPECTS. There will be some accusations thrown around that will shock some people, but it’s for the best.
THE FABULOUS FIVE
JJ
Fizz
Olk
JORSH
Omar
Let’s start with JJ. Not much is known about JJ. For all I know, one of those Js stands for James, as in Ricky James. Now, the writing style of JJ and Ricky James is nearly identical. Italics for actions, no quotation marks for dialogue, listed first name only for each line of dialogue. To be frank, if you took away the names from a Jordan roleplay and a Ricky roleplay, I might not be able to tell the difference.
Let’s also consider the fact that JJ has made SEVERAL jokes about the true identity of Ricky James while also denying that he would have enough time to run a character other than Jordan.
What’s that I said earlier about denial?
DENIAL IS SUSPICIOUS.
JJ also recently revealed that he finished watching AMC’s Breaking Bad for the first time ever. What does that have to do with Ricky James, you ask? Well, Breaking Bad is full of Mexican culture, taking place in New Mexico. It’s a huge part of the program. What did we learn earlier? Ricky James is a Mexican.
Sorry, JJ. You’ve been upgraded.
JJ is now a PRIME SUSPECT.
This next one is pretty big. Omar has a lot in common with Ricky James. He has a huge amount of experience in writing non-American characters.
Now, is there a difference between Puerto Ricans and Mexicans?
Yes.
BUT NOT ENOUGH OF A DIFFERENCE!
Xiomara and Lucy Huckabee-Sanders could basically be sisters.
You’re probably thinking, “wait, Omar has too many characters, he couldn’t run another one”! Well, you’re wrong. Omar is not human. He’s The Iron Chef. He can run tons of characters.
Omar is now a PRIME SUSPECT.
So, yeah, honestly, it’s not looking good for Omar. I mean, similar roleplay formats. Omar’s characters tend to be a bit extreme, much like Ricky James. Omar writes powerful women, like LHS.
You’re probably wondering why Omar is not being upgraded to an ULTRA PRIME SUSPECT.
I’ll tell you why.
Omar is not Ricky James.
Why? It has to be Omar, right?
No. You’re wrong. You’re so wrong.
It comes down to length. Omar is incapable of writing a short roleplay. What do we know of Ricky James? His roleplays are short. Short, but sweet? Sure. But… short.
Omar has been eliminated.
This next one is a BOMBSHELL.
Ricky James might be our own leader, Olk.
If I’m being honest, Olk should be an ULTRA PRIME SUSPECT. There’s a few things that are keeping me from hitting him with that tag, though. But first, let’s get into what makes me think he’s Ricky.
Firstly, similar formats. Next, Ricky James is not unlike Sammy Thomas Davies. Both humorous characters, both with female sidekicks that are much smarter than them. Olk is also a very well educated man, which leads me to believe he’d love to put some of his education to use in SCW by making an ultra-political character that loves American history and American ideals. There’s also the fact that The Silent Majority has gotten a lot of airtime on Breakdown, which of course makes me think that it has to be someone that’s been in SCW before, but digging even deeper, it seems that it could easily be the boss.
Olk is now a PRIME SUSPECT.
As for why Olk isn’t an ULTRA PRIME SUSPECT, it’s quite simple. The man is busy. Even though Ricky’s roleplays are short, they’re not THAT short, which makes me question whether or not it’s Olk. The rest of the evidence is just too strong to ignore, however.
So, here we are.
THE FINAL FOUR
JJ
Fizz
Olk
JORSH
I am 100% confident that one of these handlers also handles Ricky James.
Let’s quickly go over the evidence.
JJ
Denial, Breaking Bad, identical roleplays
Fizz
Denial, British, sneaky
Olk
Smart, powerful, funny
JORSH
Notorious liar, recently returned, no current characters
Before I wrap things up here, let me provide some additional information that might help you determine the real handler of Ricky James.
- Theme song is country music
- Likes using color coding
- Has a sense of humor
- Is vague
With all this information I’ve compiled, I’m not entirely sure of who the handler of Ricky James is. It has to be one of these people, though. If it’s not a new handler, it absolutely has to be one of these people. I leave the rest up to you, assuming my poll works properly.
Thank you for reading. Look forward to my next investigation, this time into the identity of Subarashi. It should be ready sometime in 2021.

I know that I left about a year ago with health issues and I did finally found out what happened. I was diagnosed with Stage 1 Endometrial Cancer, which is Cancer of the Uterus. So in February, I had to get a hysterectomy. The surgery was a success but then found out it was actually stage 2. I am glad to say though that I am now cancer free.
I did see that it looks like Emerge has ended and for that I am so sorry.

Adorned in black attire from boots, knee and elbow pads, to long tights, Starre climbed the edge of the ring and creases under the ropes to enter center stage. He ascended a turn post and stared into the abyss, hands behind his back and eyes scanned for life in the deep sea of lighters and phones and darkness beneath the dance of lights now dim above them.
As the music tapered, and the lights returned, Alioth waited in the corner, arms at rest on the ropes, and future uncertain.
