WRESTLING INFORMATION
-------------------------------------------------
Wrestling Style: All Arounder
Alignment: Face
Years Pro: 20+ (but with a break from 2012 to 2020 due to spinal stenosis diagnosis, then another break from 2022 to 2025 for his retirement)

Finishers Descriptions:
Sovereign Takeover: Cradle Hammerlock DDT [Click to preview]

Ode to Caesar & The Denver Diving Kick & The Worst Sharpshooter Ever & The Turn-Around
Signature Moves Descriptions:
Ode to Caesar: Two inverted facelock backbreakers followed by a reverse DDT
The Denver Diving Kick: Diving kick off the top rope to a standing opponent
The Worst Sharpshooter Ever: After years of neglecting the hold, Cid can no longer apply a great sharpshooter. With everyone and their mother being great at applying the sharpshooter, his attempt looks even worse now. It hurts, sure, but it's the worst sharpshooter ever.
The Turn-Around: Refined and perfected ever since returning at 2020's Rise to Greatness, this personalized small package has won dozens of matches for Cid.
Common Moves:
Single knee facebreaker
Diving crossbody
Running enzuigiri
Rib breaker
Fireman's carry gutbuster
Uppercut
Throat thrust
Tornado DDT
Arm wrench
Hammerlock
Sleeper slam
Electric chair drop
Half nelson bulldog
Hangman's neckbreaker
Sleeper hold
Belly-to-back takedown
Sitout gourdbuster
Inverted atomic drop
Atomic drop
Monkey flip
Michinoku Driver
Twisting sunset flip out of the corner
Sitting reverse chinlock (the ultimate rest hold)
Slingshot body splash
Rope hung crotch kick
A terrible spinebuster
Russian legsweep
Stepover armlock
Strengths: His all around style makes it easier to combat any other opposing style. While not an amazing wrestler, he seems to get the job done, whether it's through heart and determination or just pure luck.
Weaknesses: While he can adapt to any style as a jack of all trades, he's a master of none, which prevents him from being able to outright overpower most competitors. He also has a history of neck/back issues due to cervical spinal stenosis.
Entrance:
The lights slowly dim down. The crowd buzzes in anticipation, many of them taking their phones out and lighting up the arena with their flashlights. After a few moments of silence, “Dark Child” by Marlon Williams plays as the lights flash back on. The big screen shows several highlights of Cid Turner's career as the song continues to play. The crowd roars as Cid makes his way onto the stage, looking tensely out into the crowd. Cid takes a moment to let it all soak in before he begins his walk down the ramp.
[Announcer introductions]
“My little blonde-haired, blue-eyed boy
One day you'll grow up and be distressed
One day you'll grow up and reject everything
I've set out for you”
Cid continues his walk down the ramp and keeps his eye on the ring while continually muttering to himself. Cid reaches the ring and climbs up the steps, slowly walking across the apron to the corner and pulling himself up onto the second rope, standing on the turnbuckle and looking around the arena while taking a deep breath. He pounds his chest and peers out into the sea of people.
“My only dear long wasteful son
One day you'll wonder what you've become”
The music begins to fade out as Cid climbs down from the ropes and enters the ring, making his way to the corner.
Biography:
SCW Official: "Who the hell are you?"
Cid Turner: "You know. You all know exactly who I am. Say my name."
SCW Official: "Do what? I don't... I don't have a damn clue who the hell you are."
Cid Turner: "Yeah, you do. I'm the king. I'm the man who killed Greg Cherry."
SCW Official: "Bullshit. Cancel culture got Cherry."
Cid Turner: "Are you sure?"
[The SCW Official looks at James Exeter and Matt Hodges (AKA Team Turner) and they both shake their heads at the official in response.]
Cid Turner: "That's right. Now, say my name."
SCW Official: [quietly] "Cid Turner."
Cid Turner: "You're goddamn right."
Sample RP: See above.

*Heavy metal rock music plays for about thirty seconds, till eventually it fades*
Tyler: Welcome back guys… after a huge hesitation which we are putting down to technical difficulties…
Connor: Tyler didn’t pay his internet provider
Tyler: That is not true
Connor: Got caught watching illegal porn?
Tyler: No, just stuff not working
Connor: When I walked it, it look like it was working to me
Tyler: Anyway… Invasion: Europe took place, and it was a doozy, Jennifer Helms STILL EMERGE Champion.
Connor: And on the next edition in a couple of weeks, we are hearing that we will be getting a new fresh spanking Tag Team division, can’t wait for that
Tyler: But today, it’s all about round three of our fantasy tournament. For those just joining us, where have you been? We started off with 44 legendary names, and we now find ourselves with the final sixteen. You have voted in your thousands, and we are now ready to reveal who has made it to the final eight… and indeed the final show when we will reveal the winner in Episode Six
Connor: Got some huge matches… shall we get on with it?
Tyler: Let’s
Connor: OK… crack on
Tyler: We’ll start with Match One, the winner to face the winner of match eight, and it pits Thirteen versus Thomas Watson
Connor: Thirteen of course a SCW legend, and won championships a few years ago, Thomas Watson still doing so, currently the SCW Tag Team Champion.
Tyler: And the winner… going through with 76% of the vote… it’s Thirteen
Connor: Watson is out, but Thirteen moves on to face with Simon Lyman or Orlando Cruze, we’ll find out the winner of that one later
Tyler: Next up, it’s Three times ULW Champion Jason King, now known as Samael and he faced off against former SCW World Champion
Connor: Yes, the Pocket Rocket, Alexis Quinne
Tyler: This one was pretty close, the winner scheduled to face either Blitzkrieg or Shadow Cat in the last eight… but it was Alexis Quinne who prevailed with 55% of the vote
Connor: Now, an absolute doozy of a match
Tyler: That’s right, the perfect 10 Kelcey Wallace, taking all her pedigree into a match with trainer of the stars Yvonne Knight
Connor: I’d liked to have seen this match for more reasons that one if you catch my drift
Tyler: Well, you voted for this… and it’s Kelcey Wallace that moved on with 72.6% of the fan vote
Connor: Nearly halfway there…
Tyler: Next up, we have a Supreme Champion in Amy Chastaine… many rumors always abound that one day she will return, but instead we can at least deliver the fantasy. And she faces the unpredictable, but legendary Dylan Howell
Connor: Can you imagine…
Tyler: We don’t have to imagine, because the votes flooded in for this one, and in the end it was Amy Chastaine that advanced with 71% of the fan vote
Connor: So halfway there, and Thirteen, Alexis Quinne, Kelcey Wallace and Amy Chastaine find themselves in the final eight. But who will their opponents be?
Tyler: Let’s find out. First up, for the right to face Amy Chastaine in the last eight, it was Trinity Street versus Donovan Kayl. Two unquestionable wrestling legends deserving of any Hall of Fame.
Connor: And this turned out to be the closest vote in all this round
Tyler: And going through… to a rematch with Amy Chastaine, it’s Donovan Kayl with 51.3% of the vote
Connor: Wow… don’t forget folks, get those votes in. Help Donovan get his revenge
Tyler: Next up, it’s Gable Winchester, SCW stalwart and winner of many championships, and he faces Chris Staggs, who probably did most of his work away from our little circle of federations
Connor: The winner to face Kelcey Wallace
Tyler: And it’s Chris Staggs who advances with 51.9% of the vote
Connor: Wow, big time shock there
Tyler: Staggs finds himself in the last eight, I wouldn’t have thought that at the beginning of this competition.
Connor: Damn
Tyler: Two to go, and in our penultimate match we have Blitzkrieg, who was pretty dominant, if just for a short while, and he faces Shadow Cat, who like Staggs did her best work away from SCW and all.
Connor: I’m telling you now, if Cat does a Staggs, I quit
Tyler: You’ve no need to worry… because Blitzkrieg goes through with 80.7% and faces Alexis Quinne in the Quarter Finals
Connor: And the final match
Tyler: Orlando Cruze, ULW and IWC legend, the Icon. Versus the Gentleman of the business, the phenomenon that is Simon Lyman
Connor: This vote has to be close
Tyler: And it was… the winner with 52.8% and facing Thirteen… Orlando Cruze
Connor: And there we have it
Tyler: There we do… our quarter finals are as follows
Thirteen versus Orlando Cruze
Connor: Alexis Quinne versus Blitzkrieg
Tyler: Kelcey Wallace versus Chris Staggs
Connor: And finally, Amy Chastaine versus Donovan Kayl.
Tyler: Get those votes in guys for our next show… Episode Six of Shooting the Breeze when we will bring you the final eight all the way up to our winner.
Connor: We will see you then
Tyler: Take care folks

We are supremecw.com have some further updates on matters that took place on Breakdown:
- Shortly after the shocking display by Giovanni Aries and the Wonderland, Mr. D was found unconscious in his office by security. Medical help arrived shortly after and they noticed Giovanni Aries and his henchmen had long gone, leaving the mannequin they had thrown from the office window in the parking lot. In the time since, Mr. D is recovering in a local Toronto hospital and is in stable condition. Neither his daughter, Sasha, nor his younger daughter, Katya, who serves on the SCW Board of Directors, have commented as of yet.
- Who is the fan that has now twice attacked Infamous members? We don’t know, and while event security was planning to put staff on high alert, Asher Hayes has demanded a ticket, out of late releases, be reserved for the man, should he arrive at the next show in Little Rock. But we’re told Infamous has gone one better. They’ve requested a backstage pass be granted to the man. Will he show up? Or is Infamous trying to turn the tables on this whole situation?
- Finally, we can announce, on Breakdown this week, Matt Hodges and Alistaire Allocco will sign a contract for their match. Some insiders believe Matt Hodges, who is scheduled to compete on Breakdown in a tryout match more to test his knee, could be coming to the end of his career.
More news and notes when we have them.
